- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi it's Adam here and this is a another nested loop hypnosis
- 0:43session and I was working with a group of people to demonstrate
- 0:48how easy it is to create levels of disassociation.
- 0:51It's something I call the Inception Induction, inspired by
- 0:55the movie Inception. And what they did is they gave
- 0:59me 6 very random places from things like Yosemite National
- 1:04Park, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, things like ancient Egypt and
- 1:10looking down here, a speedboat and Middle Earth from Lord of
- 1:14the Rings. And what I did in real time is
- 1:16kind of fuse them all together to come up with a useful
- 1:20empowering hypnosis session. And that's all in this recording
- 1:24that you're about to listen to. So if you like the idea of
- 1:27nested loops or perhaps you want to learn more about them, I'm
- 1:30going to have a link in the description where you can get
- 1:33access to the full presentation. So if you are interested in kind
- 1:37of how to do this stuff and not just listening to it, check out
- 1:40that link and then you can watch various presentations, videos of
- 1:44me talking about this kind of stuff.
- 1:46And this is really useful for anyone curious about learning
- 1:49certain techniques. Nested loops are essentially
- 1:51stories within stories within stories.
- 1:53My way of doing it is levels of disassociation.
- 1:56So if that's of interest, check out that link.
- 1:58But for now, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 2:00won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 2:25Take a deep breath in and as you breathe in, just allow your
- 2:35eyelids to close and with your eyes closed, notice how easy it
- 2:43is to focus on the sound of my voice.
- 2:51Breathing and relaxation, exhaling tension.
- 2:56Each breath takes you deeper and deep, relaxed.
- 3:06Become aware of the temperature in the room, the feeling of any
- 3:11clothing on your skin, the pace, the rhythm of your breath, and
- 3:18even the subtle sensation of a pulse or a heartbeat taking you
- 3:25deeper and deeper, relaxed. And as your body relaxes, your
- 3:36imagination awakens. And I wonder if you could
- 3:42imagine one of those antique globes.
- 3:48You know the ones, the ones on that brass axis that you can
- 3:58spin and see anywhere in the world.
- 4:04And I want you to imagine spinning in, and as it stops,
- 4:09stare into the shape of North America and just allow your
- 4:17fingers to imagine the sensation of any mountains, landscapes and
- 4:27find a place there in North America of outstanding natural
- 4:33beauty. And I want you to imagine that
- 4:38your finger is touching the sensation of a large section of
- 4:48rock, almost monolithic. And just imagine that by
- 4:54touching it, your whole consciousness travels down your
- 4:59arm, down your fingertip into that location.
- 5:04And I want you to imagine how it would feel to suddenly be there
- 5:09in Yosemite National Park. And I want you to imagine blue
- 5:15skies, sunshine. I want you to get a feeling, a
- 5:24wonderful feeling, a feeling at one with nature.
- 5:31And I want you to imagine seeing something inscribed there on the
- 5:36rock. You can't quite make it out, but
- 5:41there is definitely a word or a phrase inscribed on that huge
- 5:48monolithic rock. But I want you to imagine for
- 5:56some reason, next to the rock is the entrance to an elevator.
- 6:03Shouldn't be there. There's no buildings, and yet
- 6:07there is. Imagine pressing the button to
- 6:11call the lift, and as it arrives, just imagine stepping
- 6:20into the elevator and just imagine pressing the top floor.
- 6:30Feel the sensation of your body as it takes you upwards all the
- 6:37way to the top. But when the elevator opens, you
- 6:41find yourself right at the very top of the Eiffel Tower.
- 6:50Imagine it's night time and I want you to imagine seeing the
- 6:54incredible lights all throughout Paris.
- 7:03You're seeing the river, you're seeing everything there.
- 7:08And I want you to get a sense of perspective from such a high
- 7:17place. I want you to imagine that you
- 7:20start to imagine a new perspective on your own life.
- 7:27And I want you to imagine a cookie jar there.
- 7:31But inside the cookie jar at the top of the Eiffel Tower is not a
- 7:36cookie but a resource. And you're not sure what that
- 7:43resource is yet, and you just know it's a resource that would
- 7:47be very valuable and useful for you.
- 7:53But I want you to imagine, for some reason, connected to the
- 7:56very top of the Eiffel Tower is what looks like a water slide.
- 8:03And I want you to imagine how it would feel to launch yourself
- 8:10down that rapid water slide, swooshing and washing all the
- 8:15way down. And you would think you would
- 8:18end up at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower.
- 8:22But when you get to the bottom, you find yourself in ancient
- 8:28Egypt, surrounded by the Sphinx, the grand pyramids.
- 8:39And I want you to imagine no one else is around, and you have
- 8:44direct access to the Pharaoh's tomb.
- 8:51But inside this tomb there is no curse, only a blessing.
- 8:59You are yet to receive the blessing, but you know the
- 9:02blessing is coming your way. And there in the Pharaoh's tomb,
- 9:09I want you to imagine seeing a miniature city, a city, a small
- 9:19version of Cairo. But I want you to see the
- 9:24Euphrates River there in that miniature city.
- 9:31And for some reason there's a tiny speedboat there on the
- 9:36river. And just imagine shrinking
- 9:40yourself down so that you arrive there in the speedboat and you
- 9:48start to speed along the Euphrates River in ancient
- 9:54Egypt, and everyone around is looking at you like you're a
- 10:01wizard, a magician. What is this power that you
- 10:06possess? And as you observe people
- 10:09looking at you, assessing that you are powerful, that you have
- 10:14something that they don't have, I want you to ask the question,
- 10:20what do you have that is powerful, In fact, more powerful
- 10:26than a speedboat? And I want you to imagine that
- 10:32that thought will return to you with clarity.
- 10:37You are powerful not by what you have, but by what you can do.
- 10:45And just imagine the terrain is changing.
- 10:50There is a bridge, it is ancient Egypt, on your side of the
- 10:55bridge, but on the other side it looks strange, ancient.
- 11:03And the moment you pass under the bridge, still in your
- 11:05speedboat, you find yourself in Middle Earth.
- 11:12Imagine that you are surrounded by different species you've
- 11:18never seen before, Dwarves, orcs, and even elves.
- 11:27And I want you to imagine pulling the speed boat up to
- 11:33what seems to be a dock in an elvish Kingdom.
- 11:37And you are welcomed and the leader, perhaps a queen or a
- 11:46king of the elves, gives you something powerful, a glowing
- 11:52potion. This glowing potion is filled
- 11:58with elvish magic. It amplifies your sense of
- 12:04purpose, your ability to impact the world.
- 12:10Imagine drinking that magic potion, feeling with absolute
- 12:15certainty that your gifts are amplified.
- 12:23You say goodbye to the Elvis royalty and already feel
- 12:30something changing. I want you to imagine getting
- 12:34back into your speedboat, going up the river, finding yourself
- 12:40there in ancient Egypt, still connected to that feeling of
- 12:47being powerful, maybe knowing what it is that you do or have
- 12:53or know that creates that power. And just imagine taking that
- 13:00speedboat all the way into ancient Egypt.
- 13:08That's in seeing the great pyramids, climbing out of the
- 13:14boat, leaving the pharaoh's tomb.
- 13:18And as you leave, I want you to imagine seeing what looks to be
- 13:26like a water slide. I want you to imagine that you
- 13:34can slide up the water slide just as fast as you came down
- 13:39and find yourself all the way there.
- 13:44There at the top of the Eiffel Tower in which you see a cookie
- 13:51jar. The cookie is just a Trojan
- 13:56horse for a resource. As you eat the cookie, you
- 14:00absorb the resource, the resource that you need most
- 14:04right now. Maybe creativity, maybe
- 14:07confidence, maybe self belief, maybe ambition, maybe peace, or
- 14:14something else. But as you eat the cookie, you
- 14:17feel the resource amplifying within you.
- 14:19And then you see the elevator arriving when you walk into the
- 14:28elevator, press down, and when you get all the way down, it
- 14:34opens back in Yosemite National Park.
- 14:39And you've been curious all along about that inscription
- 14:44carved into stone, a message that you needed to read,
- 14:49something that was written many years ago, but you were meant to
- 14:54read it, and you do. And you will either know what it
- 15:00means, or your unconscious will reveal it to you later.
- 15:08And then imagine how it would feel to see a giant finger on
- 15:14top of that giant rock. And as you look at the finger,
- 15:18just imagine travelling up the finger into your own body,
- 15:22staring down at a globe, feeling a wonderful sense that you've
- 15:28been on this incredible journey within your imagination.
- 15:34A journey of thoughts within thoughts, ideas within ideas,
- 15:40and dreams within dreams. But it's time to return, taking
- 15:46all of this wisdom inside gratitude and resourcefulness
- 15:51with you. Take a deep breath in through
- 15:54your nose and out through your nose.
- 15:59Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 16:01Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 16:06from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 16:10Starting to count 123 waking up 456, more alert 7-8.
- 16:16Open your eyes. Open your eyes, 910.
- 16:19Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
