- 0:11Speaker 1: And now, the mob guys crake for your music.
- 0:39Speaker 2: We are the mob, guys. You can say your own
- 0:41Speaker 2: name if you want.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Wayne Dolcefino and that other guy.
- 0:45Speaker 2: He's Wayne Dolcefino. I'm the other guy, Craig Colonese. We
- 0:48Speaker 2: are thrilled to be with you. Ben Stroussand heard some
- 0:51Speaker 2: of what we were talking about when it came to
- 0:53Speaker 2: the 60 Minutes piece that we were just discussing.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I saw him at the bar like at 2 in
- 0:59Speaker 1: the morning. How did he get up so early?
- 1:02Speaker 2: We got phone calls? Okay, we got phone calls on
- 1:04Speaker 2: the phone, too. We can get to those in a second, too.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Thank you, Russell, to that. But first, from Ben, it
- 1:09Speaker 2: said that the water inside of these data centers is
- 1:13Speaker 2: in a closed loop like the radiator in your car.
- 1:15Speaker 2: So there are ways, if we want to get a
- 1:18Speaker 2: little bit into the technical weeds of this, and I'm
- 1:20Speaker 2: not saying Ben was trying to do that, to demonstrate
- 1:22Speaker 2: that some of the concerns people have are illegitimate. But, Wayne,
- 1:26Speaker 2: you and I were talking about a very different thing,
- 1:28Speaker 2: and it's how much people will pay attention to that
- 1:31Speaker 2: argument and care, or also how much they'll even trust
- 1:34Speaker 2: you in how you say it.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Sure, and in a lot of these towns, and I
- 1:38Speaker 1: know because I'm involved in some investigations, and I have
- 1:42Speaker 1: no dog in this fight, but I've been involved in
- 1:44Speaker 1: some investigations where people are really freaked out. Lufkin... A
- 1:50Speaker 1: lot of places down south, they're all freaked out about
- 1:54Speaker 1: these data centers. And sure, maybe they'll do their own electricity,
- 1:59Speaker 1: which is what I hear. Don't worry about it. Everything's
- 2:02Speaker 1: going to be fine. Maybe they'll pay for their own water.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't know whether it's closed loop, open loop. If
- 2:08Speaker 1: it goes down a runway.
- 2:10Speaker 2: At the airport, it's massive amounts of water that they
- 2:12Speaker 2: need to cool it. So it's I'm cool with that.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But when you have an entire coastline that's freaking out
- 2:19Speaker 1: about water in Texas and in West Texas, right, places
- 2:24Speaker 1: that are traditional are people. We have to do a
- 2:29Speaker 1: better job selling people early on about what we're doing,
- 2:35Speaker 1: how we're doing it. why we're doing it, because people
- 2:39Speaker 1: just don't trust you anymore.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They just don't.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Here's what I love about that, because there's one other
- 2:45Speaker 2: piece of audio that I really liked from the 60
- 2:47Speaker 2: Minutes piece. It might be in the weeds too, but
- 2:49Speaker 2: it's a professor, Michael Weber from the University of Texas,
- 2:52Speaker 2: being asked a question about data centers. And it's not
- 2:55Speaker 2: just that he agrees with me, because he is saying
- 2:58Speaker 2: that the inevitability of data centers is similar to what
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm saying it is, but he puts the why out
- 3:02Speaker 2: there a little bit differently as to what we get. Like,
- 3:05Speaker 2: what do we get when we give up this or
- 3:08Speaker 2: that in the world of data centers? What do we earn?
- 3:10Speaker 2: And I think that this message could be more effective.
- 3:14Speaker 5: You look at the numbers. They're mind-boggling. Meta, Amazon, Google,
- 3:19Speaker 5: Microsoft expected to spend $ 1. 5 trillion building data centers through
- 3:25Speaker 5: next year.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Why do we need so many?
- 3:28Speaker 1: I talk to a lot of smart people, and some say,
- 3:31Speaker 1: This will satiate.
- 3:32Speaker 7: But then there are other smart people who say the
- 3:34Speaker 7: demand for intelligence will never be sated.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So we will always want more data centers. We will
- 3:38Speaker 1: always want more intelligence.
- 3:39Speaker 5: That intelligence developing inside these hulking warehouses, supporters believe, will
- 3:45Speaker 5: generate what's called AGI, or artificial general intelligence, that can
- 3:50Speaker 5: match or surpass human capabilities. That means in addition to
- 3:55Speaker 5: autonomous cars and robotic factories, this additional computing power could
- 4:01Speaker 5: pave the way for groundbreaking discoveries like curing cancer. And
- 4:06Speaker 5: data centers... Stop it there, but you get the idea.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Medical breakthroughs, military breakthroughs, data centers will be important to
- 4:14Speaker 2: us as a human society because of the value they'll
- 4:17Speaker 2: add intellectually to our world. They're more capable than we
- 4:22Speaker 2: are if we continue to allow them to advance. Sure,
- 4:25Speaker 2: we can be afraid of that, but the benefits may
- 4:28Speaker 2: outweigh the risks, especially if we start doing things like
- 4:30Speaker 2: curing cancer.
- 4:32Speaker 1: No, and look, I don't think there's much of a
- 4:35Speaker 1: debate about the good things that come from AI and
- 4:40Speaker 1: data centers. What I hear in these towns I go
- 4:44Speaker 1: to is people believe whether we tell them that it's
- 4:49Speaker 1: going to pay for itself, it's going to have its
- 4:50Speaker 1: own nuclear power plant, whatever we tell them, they don't
- 4:55Speaker 1: believe it, in part because all of a sudden there
- 4:59Speaker 1: are these votes showing up to approve these deals when
- 5:03Speaker 1: you didn't... It's almost like the Iran war. I'm not
- 5:07Speaker 1: saying that it would be a popular war. I don't
- 5:11Speaker 1: even know what that means, right? Like, hey, let's go
- 5:14Speaker 1: kill some people. But... But I think it's part of
- 5:18Speaker 1: explaining to people, and people believe that they are invested
- 5:23Speaker 1: in what you're trying to do. Yes. That's where I
- 5:27Speaker 1: think the problem is, from a messaging standpoint. I understand.
- 5:31Speaker 2: But for example, there's a lot of other things that
- 5:33Speaker 2: have happened in our society where we pushed forward, but
- 5:35Speaker 2: there was a negative that came with the positive. Even
- 5:38Speaker 2: things like cars. We have more violent accidents than we
- 5:41Speaker 2: were all riding around in horses, but yet we all
- 5:43Speaker 2: want cars.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Sure. Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 2: The vast majority, we already have this a lot of places,
- 6:09Speaker 2: but we don't see it. But the vast majority of
- 6:11Speaker 2: the fighting, like Ukraine, for example, and Trump also is
- 6:14Speaker 2: fairly critical of that conflict still going on and blamed
- 6:17Speaker 2: that conflict for the reason that the diesel prices are
- 6:20Speaker 2: so high, Russia and Ukraine. but part of the reason
- 6:23Speaker 2: Ukraine's been so effective at fighting a much larger military
- 6:26Speaker 2: is drone technology.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. We do have a phone call.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead.
- 6:31Speaker 2: We can try to get to Mark real quick. I
- 6:33Speaker 2: see another person calling in, too.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do that.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You can try to be a part of the show
- 6:36Speaker 2: if you want. Call in. Mark, what do you want
- 6:38Speaker 2: to say?
- 6:40Speaker 9: Well, gentlemen, Ben is exactly right. I was going to
- 6:44Speaker 9: suggest that you guys bring somebody on. I'm in the
- 6:47Speaker 9: temporary infrastructure industry, and... These cooling, these data centers, they
- 6:53Speaker 9: utilize water for an initial fill, and there is very
- 6:58Speaker 9: small evaporative type of impact to that cooling loop. I mean,
- 7:04Speaker 9: if you had a leak, sure, there's going to be
- 7:06Speaker 9: makeup water. But for the most part, Petrochem and Refining
- 7:10Speaker 9: use 10 times the water on a daily basis that
- 7:15Speaker 9: data centers do because of the fact that they use
- 7:18Speaker 9: evaporative cooling. I'm a huge fan of technology. I don't
- 7:22Speaker 9: use AI for anything to my knowledge. I don't reach
- 7:26Speaker 9: out and ask a computer a question. But if you
- 7:29Speaker 9: think about technology itself, my uncle was part of the
- 7:34Speaker 9: group with Texas Instruments that created the printed circuit board,
- 7:39Speaker 9: if you will, or the printed circuit. technology will get
- 7:43Speaker 9: smaller and smaller and smaller, and these enormous data centers
- 7:46Speaker 9: will shrink in size and still be able to do
- 7:49Speaker 9: the same things that they do. But last thing about
- 7:53Speaker 9: Red Oak, I have spent a lot of time in
- 7:56Speaker 9: that area. Owens Corning is one of the original employers
- 8:01Speaker 9: in that area as far as a major employer, and
- 8:04Speaker 9: they use so much water in that process.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Again, and.
- 8:10Speaker 9: You don't hear the communities, this is This is Democrats
- 8:13Speaker 9: trying to work up or ramp up their low-information voters
- 8:17Speaker 9: and just drive them to the polls. That's all this is.
- 8:20Speaker 9: This is their next, I'll show you my age, 1980s
- 8:25Speaker 9: savings and loans scandal, right? This is just BS.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, fair enough. Thank you very much for the call, Mark.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I don't disagree with Mark at all. You know, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm not arguing that they're right. I'm arguing that with
- 8:44Speaker 1: information coming to people through such a dispersed way now,
- 8:48Speaker 1: through thousands and thousands of sources, that you're battling a
- 8:53Speaker 1: corporate media that hates Trump and generally hates Republicans and conservatives, right?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Thinks the worst things about Trump.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yes. Well, and also I will say I really don't
- 9:08Speaker 2: think that getting bogged down into the logistics of this
- 9:11Speaker 2: does make sense because there are two types of data centers.
- 9:14Speaker 2: There are open loop evaporative systems, which he kind of
- 9:17Speaker 2: was talking about there, which a vast majority of the
- 9:19Speaker 2: current large scale data centers in our country and in
- 9:21Speaker 2: the world are. And they use three hundred thousand to
- 9:24Speaker 2: five million gallons of water a day. They are not
- 9:26Speaker 2: truly closed loop systems. There then are truly closed loops
- 9:29Speaker 2: loop systems, which are a newer generation of data center
- 9:32Speaker 2: that uses a refrigerant system. and does still put an
- 9:36Speaker 2: energy demand into– because it's a massive amount of cooling.
- 9:41Speaker 2: One of the biggest reasons they say we can't have
- 9:43Speaker 2: a lot of data centers in space is it's impossible
- 9:46Speaker 2: to remove the heat without the things that exist on
- 9:49Speaker 2: Earth in space. It's much more challenging to do it there,
- 9:52Speaker 2: however odd it is to say it that way. So
- 9:55Speaker 2: one of the drawbacks will be how do you remove
- 9:58Speaker 2: heat within the system. But again and this is, Wayne,
- 10:01Speaker 2: your point, I can do this. I can do the logistical,
- 10:04Speaker 2: this is how this actually works discussion. People don't need
- 10:07Speaker 2: to trust it. People don't need to care. And people
- 10:10Speaker 2: don't listen long enough to fully understand it compared to
- 10:13Speaker 2: telling them that You know, Republicans are saying yes to
- 10:16Speaker 2: this thing now that you think you don't like. And
- 10:19Speaker 2: so the real world benefit to you will, to me,
- 10:22Speaker 2: always be the winning message. And that's the message we
- 10:24Speaker 2: need to focus on.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Sure. But like every economic development project, forget data centers
- 10:31Speaker 1: or a new hotel or whatever else, you've got to
- 10:36Speaker 1: convince people of what you're bringing to them.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:40Speaker 1: When a new ambulance provider wants to take over a town,
- 10:44Speaker 1: and I've done a lot of investigations into Acadian Ambulance,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but when a new ambulance provider wants to come into
- 10:50Speaker 1: town or somebody wants a new contract, they say, Texas City,
- 10:54Speaker 1: the Margaritaville project, that 55-plus project, they said, we're going
- 10:59Speaker 1: to give you a new fire station. We'll bring you
- 11:00Speaker 1: a new fire station. We'll get you a couple of
- 11:03Speaker 1: new ambulances. I mean, these are like the gifts, the toys.
- 11:06Speaker 1: People understand that.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Oh, what?
- 11:08Speaker 1: We're getting an $ 8 million fire station? Part of the problem,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I think, with the AI stuff has been the sort
- 11:15Speaker 1: of secrecy, call it lack of transparency, call it not
- 11:20Speaker 1: just telling people from the first day what you're up to,
- 11:22Speaker 1: is that they're getting surprised. And by the time they
- 11:27Speaker 1: find out about the train, it's already like run over
- 11:31Speaker 1: their mama.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And I think that's a lot of this. That gets
- 11:39Speaker 1: people to thinking, right or wrong, right? that there's something
- 11:44Speaker 1: funny going on.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Right.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And if you're honest with people early on and tell
- 11:49Speaker 1: them exactly what you want to do and why and
- 11:53Speaker 1: what you will do to make sure the things that
- 11:56Speaker 1: the Democrat freaks tell them is going to happen isn't
- 11:59Speaker 1: going to happen, I think you knock down some of it. Look,
- 12:04Speaker 1: we're a country that's split in half. We are. Whether
- 12:07Speaker 1: we like it or not as conservatives, a lot of people, right,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Blame TikTok. Blame they're stupid. Blame, you know, their mamas
- 12:17Speaker 1: and daddies didn't teach them right. Whatever you want to say.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It is a reality that there is a sizable amount
- 12:24Speaker 1: of people, mostly because we brought them here from California.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And Illinois.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And New York.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You get what you get. I mean, this country made
- 12:35Speaker 1: a horrible mistake, Republicans and Democrats, mostly Democrats. Besides letting
- 12:40Speaker 1: all the illegals in, we had mass migrations. Yeah. Right.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And we brought people in from all over the planet
- 12:46Speaker 1: and we're still doing it. I mean, we're still bringing
- 12:49Speaker 1: people in from from South Asia, from India and Pakistan
- 12:53Speaker 1: all the time. And I think people want that to stop.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I think that's one of the frustrations of conservatives. Let's
- 13:01Speaker 1: stop for a while. Let's take care of the people
- 13:04Speaker 1: that actually were born here.
- 13:07Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 11: Right.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And it doesn't matter what color they are. that they
- 13:12Speaker 1: were born here. I think that is the frustration that
- 13:17Speaker 1: we should go into.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I do also think about it this way. How would
- 13:21Speaker 2: you sell a car to a group of people that
- 13:23Speaker 2: have never seen one before? This is part of the
- 13:26Speaker 2: data center dilemma, is a lot of the value of
- 13:28Speaker 2: data centers is not visually obvious to a lot of
- 13:32Speaker 2: people yet. So how are you selling them something that
- 13:34Speaker 2: they can't tangibly understand and see that the way they should.
- 13:37Speaker 2: We've got to take another break. We've got the music playing.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I know Dale is on hold for a bit now.
- 13:42Speaker 2: We will get to more calls. So if you want
- 13:44Speaker 2: to call in and be a part of the show,
- 13:46Speaker 2: you can do that. You can jump in with us.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And you can talk to an expert in technology.
- 13:52Speaker 2: You can talk to Wayne Dolcefino, the expert in technology.
- 13:54Speaker 2: 281-558-5738 is the phone number.
- 13:56Speaker 10: 281-558-5738.
- 13:56Speaker 2: More after this.
- 14:08Speaker 12: Hi, I'm Tommy Milo, CEO of Garage Door Doctor. Here's
- 14:19Speaker 12: a question for you. When was the last time you
- 14:21Speaker 12: thought about your garage door? Most people never do. The
- 14:24Speaker 12: problem is that your garage door may be the hardest
- 14:26Speaker 12: working appliance in your home. It opens and closes thousands
- 14:29Speaker 12: of times every year, lifting hundreds of pounds each and
- 14:33Speaker 12: every time. You change the oil in your car. You
- 14:36Speaker 12: service your air conditioner. Your garage door deserves the same attention.
- 14:40Speaker 12: A simple tune-up catches worn parts before they fail. A
- 14:43Speaker 12: tune-up keeps everything running quietly and can add years of
- 14:46Speaker 12: life to your system. And that's why preventative maintenance is
- 14:49Speaker 12: one of the smartest investments you can make for your
- 14:52Speaker 12: garage door. Garage doors usually warn you before they break.
- 14:56Speaker 12: We're here to help before that happens. Call today for
- 14:58Speaker 12: our $ 29. 95 tune-up special. From repairs to upgrades, call Garage
- 15:02Speaker 12: Door Doctor today.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Garage Door Doctor.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Hi, this is Michael Miller. Join me this weekend for

- 16:38Speaker 2: say his own name.
- 16:39Speaker 1: He is? The King of News. The King of News.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Wayne Dolcefino.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Wayne Dolcefino. What was your sign-off whenever you did your
- 16:46Speaker 2: reports on television?
- 16:47Speaker 1: 13 undercover. I used to go undercover.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Can we do that with KSEV? Can you do KSEV
- 16:55Speaker 2: undercover or no?
- 16:57Speaker 1: I could if I wanted to, but sure. You don't
- 16:59Speaker 1: want to. All right. Let's take a phone call. All right.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Let's take the phone call. We have Dale calling in. Dale,
- 17:04Speaker 2: what do you want to say?
- 17:06Speaker 15: Yeah, Biden never did to Fox News what Trump is
- 17:10Speaker 15: doing now. Fox News never lost White House access the
- 17:13Speaker 15: whole time Biden was in office. So this isn't a
- 17:16Speaker 15: he did, she did. Might need to look a little more,
- 17:20Speaker 15: do a little more research, try to find out. It
- 17:22Speaker 15: was an acrimonious relationship, and Biden may have wanted to—
- 17:27Speaker 15: like fox x.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I said i said obama uh i did say both
- 17:33Speaker 2: but obama fully restricted fox news from the the white
- 17:36Speaker 2: house press briefings that that did no it did dale
- 17:38Speaker 2: you're wrong it did happen you're now lying on.
- 17:40Speaker 15: The radio there was there was one incident there was
- 17:44Speaker 15: one incident where the treasury department wanted to ban a
- 17:48Speaker 15: fox news reporter from a press conference and uh Of course,
- 17:54Speaker 15: the major networks, all the other major networks banded together
- 17:57Speaker 15: and said, well, if you ban him, we're not going.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:59Speaker 2: In October of 2009, Obama and his administration did exclude
- 18:04Speaker 2: Fox News reports from multiple network press pool interviews. And then,
- 18:08Speaker 2: as you said, in solidarity with Fox News, the other
- 18:11Speaker 2: news organizations, including CNN, stood up and said, you can't
- 18:15Speaker 2: ban Fox or you have to ban all of us.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And then eventually the Obama administration relented. Dale, please do
- 18:21Speaker 2: not lie on my radio show. Please don't do it.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Because what I said was the truth.
- 18:27Speaker 15: You started out with a lie.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I did not start out with a lie. I told
- 18:30Speaker 2: the truth, Dale. You've got to hang up on guys
- 18:32Speaker 2: like that when they talk too long. Because he's definitively
- 18:35Speaker 2: rejecting something that did happen. And I'll give him the
- 18:38Speaker 2: historical data if he needs it off air. I think
- 18:40Speaker 2: we also have George on the phone. George in Tomball.
- 18:43Speaker 2: What do you want to say, George?
- 18:46Speaker 3: So on the subject of Fox News being a quote-unquote
- 18:49Speaker 3: conservative outlet, no. I mean, they're basically just liberal light.
- 18:56Speaker 16: That's it.
- 18:58Speaker 3: They do a better job than CNN does at fair
- 19:01Speaker 3: and balanced, but there's always that twinge of leaning to
- 19:06Speaker 3: the left. There's always, no matter what they do or say,
- 19:10Speaker 3: there's always the what-about moment. And really, I'll tell you what,
- 19:16Speaker 3: on the subject of immigration, it's something I'm an expert at.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I will tell you the following. Think about what the
- 19:22Speaker 3: Statue of Liberty says. Give us your poor, your tired,
- 19:25Speaker 3: and your hungry. Now let's translate that to what the
- 19:28Speaker 3: French people really meant. Take everybody we don't want. That
- 19:33Speaker 3: wasn't an American sentiment. That was the sentiment of a
- 19:36Speaker 3: French person basically putting that off. That's become somehow... our
- 19:42Speaker 3: rule of we'll accept everybody and look what it's done for.
- 19:46Speaker 3: And look what it's done to France. But as far
- 19:49Speaker 3: as with Democrats, Dale, I don't even guess. I don't
- 19:54Speaker 3: take him seriously anymore. He'll tell you it's night out
- 19:59Speaker 3: right now. The sky is dark. It absolutely is dark.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And the moon is Right. OK.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Plus, to be honest, thank you. Thank you for the call, George. Plus,
- 20:07Speaker 2: to be to be honest, the whole conversation Wayne and
- 20:10Speaker 2: I were having in the first hour that involved Trump,
- 20:14Speaker 2: like removing access for people. I was just saying that
- 20:17Speaker 2: I'm amused by how people are pretending that it's unprecedented
- 20:20Speaker 2: when it has happened before. It's not actually the valuable
- 20:24Speaker 2: part of that discussion, as Wayne demonstrated. The valuable part
- 20:27Speaker 2: of that discussion is this probably is distracting more from
- 20:30Speaker 2: messaging Republicans need right now. then it should. We probably
- 20:34Speaker 2: shouldn't be doing that.
- 20:35Speaker 10: Go ahead, Wayne.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not talking, I'm talking strictly about messaging. Look,
- 20:40Speaker 1: Trump is not stopping them from speaking. He is stopping
- 20:45Speaker 1: them from coming into the White House to get press credentials.
- 20:50Speaker 1: So when I heard this weekend and then Brian Seltzer
- 20:55Speaker 1: or whatever his name is, the CNN guy, talking about
- 20:58Speaker 1: like James Madison and Thomas Jefferson would be rolling over
- 21:02Speaker 1: in his grave. I'm going, can we really, I mean,
- 21:06Speaker 1: can we really stop? It's like if Trump had, if
- 21:09Speaker 1: Trump had, had shut down a TV station, right. It
- 21:13Speaker 1: sent troops in to MS now. Right. And, and arrested
- 21:18Speaker 1: them as they were on the air or something. Sure.
- 21:22Speaker 1: But all he said was, and I'm not, I'm not
- 21:25Speaker 1: saying I agree with it. And I'll tell you why
- 21:27Speaker 1: I don't, because I, Everyone already knows the media hates him.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Everyone already knows the media is just an arm of
- 21:38Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. So it's look at the percentage. You
- 21:44Speaker 1: pull up the latest numbers, Greg, on the percentage of
- 21:47Speaker 1: people that even trust the media.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It's horrible.
- 21:50Speaker 1: But 13 percent. Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I also wanted to say another thing. That's another data
- 21:54Speaker 2: point of, I think, like one thousand eight hundred and
- 21:56Speaker 2: forty two. evaluated statements by journalists, anchors, reporters from ABC, CBS,
- 22:02Speaker 2: and NBC, 92% of them were negative when it came
- 22:06Speaker 2: to Trump, 92 percent.
- 22:08Speaker 1: And that's totally crap.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Part of Trump's argument is different than the argument before,
- 22:14Speaker 2: which is it's overwhelmingly negative coverage, regardless of what he's
- 22:17Speaker 2: talking about. He could kiss a baby and pet a
- 22:20Speaker 2: dog and they'd find a way for that to be
- 22:22Speaker 2: the worst thing a president has ever done. So there is,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I think, a more legitimate version of that. Media does
- 22:29Speaker 2: not represent these conversations fairly or accurately, by and large,
- 22:34Speaker 2: because they're so unwilling to remove their hatred of Trump
- 22:37Speaker 2: from how they cover these stories. But to your point,
- 22:41Speaker 2: even more so, a lot of people just simply don't
- 22:43Speaker 2: trust the media at all.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and other than the base folks, which I get
- 22:48Speaker 1: why you're trying to get up, most independents know this.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Most independents know the media's crap. Totally unfair to Trump.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You know, Trump, when he called them fake news from
- 23:02Speaker 1: the first day, do I think there's things called vendetta journalism,
- 23:07Speaker 1: which is you've now attacked us. How dare you question
- 23:11Speaker 1: our role in the world with the most important people ever. Right.
- 23:16Speaker 1: And maybe I had a little bit of this when
- 23:18Speaker 1: I was a TV. I get it. Right. But nobody
- 23:21Speaker 1: likes being peed on. And the media has it's personal
- 23:27Speaker 1: with them. It's not just political. It's political, no doubt, right?
- 23:31Speaker 1: They're all Democrats. They're all from Ivy League schools and
- 23:35Speaker 1: their mommies and daddies are professors at some liberal university.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I get all that, but it's also personal. You could
- 23:43Speaker 1: tell it in this sort of venomous personal way, the
- 23:48Speaker 1: way they're willing to accept that he must be shacking
- 23:51Speaker 1: up with that Natalie Harp lady, right? That's the only explanation, right?
- 23:55Speaker 1: We're not saying that.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Right?
- 23:57Speaker 1: We're not saying that.
- 23:58Speaker 2: We're not saying it.
- 23:59Speaker 1: But she is around a lot.
- 24:01Speaker 2: And the mob guys aren't saying that.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And, you know, you were willing to get other people killed,
- 24:05Speaker 1: but not her. You put her on the good plane
- 24:08Speaker 1: just in case. Right? So, look, I think people understand this.
- 24:13Speaker 1: And sometimes I do question the strategy, although I understand it,
- 24:20Speaker 1: consultants out there and political people, that You could tell
- 24:25Speaker 1: people all day long the things that we've been talking
- 24:29Speaker 1: about this morning, and they still are not happy. They're
- 24:35Speaker 1: still really mad, and they should be mad at the
- 24:37Speaker 1: Biden administration because they're the ones that did all the
- 24:41Speaker 1: stuff that raised the prices 25%. But I also think
- 24:45Speaker 1: people say to themselves, and I ask the same questions,
- 24:48Speaker 1: wait a second. COVID's been over for five years. And
- 24:51Speaker 1: by the way, can we stop spending money on COVID crap? Yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 1: we should. Oh, my God. It's like we're spending money
- 25:00Speaker 1: on hurricanes that happened 30 years ago. What are we doing?
- 25:02Speaker 2: I don't know. And then we're not giving enough money
- 25:04Speaker 2: quickly to the hurricane that happened yesterday. 28%, by the way,
- 25:08Speaker 2: was your question before. People trust the media a fair
- 25:12Speaker 2: amount or a large amount of confidence. When you're looking
- 25:15Speaker 2: at removing fair amount, because those are people that say
- 25:18Speaker 2: that they... still have issues with media, it does go
- 25:21Speaker 2: down to like 10% of people that a large amount
- 25:24Speaker 2: trust the media.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Because people get it. It's like, I always say when
- 25:29Speaker 1: they now do this big blockbuster report and they go,
- 25:34Speaker 1: two people with knowledge about what happened in the room,
- 25:39Speaker 1: which means they weren't in the damn room, right?
- 25:43Speaker 2: Otherwise you would have said two people.
- 25:45Speaker 1: That were in the room, right? or an eyewitness, but
- 25:49Speaker 1: they say, you know, a guy and his cabbie who
- 25:53Speaker 1: have knowledge, a cabbie who has knowledge of what happened
- 25:57Speaker 1: because the, somebody was drunk at two o'clock in the morning,
- 26:00Speaker 1: got in the cab and said, Hey, I heard about
- 26:02Speaker 1: a meeting. And then all of a sudden it's like
- 26:04Speaker 1: a top story and they're never required. Look, I have
- 26:08Speaker 1: confidential sources too. I get it, but you gotta be
- 26:12Speaker 1: pretty right on. And if someone wasn't in the room,
- 26:18Speaker 1: They didn't hear it. It's like when Marco Rubio is
- 26:20Speaker 1: on the shows, Sunday shows, they go, well, you know,
- 26:24Speaker 1: our leading intelligence thing is this. He goes, how do
- 26:27Speaker 1: you know?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Well, that's one of the problems. I think that people
- 26:30Speaker 2: say a lot about the bureaucratic part of government where
- 26:32Speaker 2: people aren't elected and they've been there forever. There's so
- 26:35Speaker 2: many Democrats in that part of our system that there's
- 26:38Speaker 2: someone at every TV station. who knows somebody at every
- 26:42Speaker 2: single one of those spots that'll just say it. Be like,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I need somebody to go on the record and say
- 26:46Speaker 2: that you know that this happened in a room you
- 26:48Speaker 2: weren't in. And there's someone who'll be like, all right,
- 26:50Speaker 2: I'll go on the record, off the record, and tell
- 26:52Speaker 2: you that that happened so you can report that an
- 26:55Speaker 2: anonymous source told me this thing happened. They all have
- 26:58Speaker 2: their access to like their two or three people.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I think one of my new, when I'm president, if
- 27:06Speaker 1: a member of the media sleeps with someone who is
- 27:10Speaker 1: a Democrat, I think they should be forced to disclose
- 27:14Speaker 1: it at the beginning of their newscast. Sure.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:18Speaker 2: They got to go through the whole list.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Yeah. These are all the people I've slept with. This
- 27:22Speaker 1: guy's a Democrat. This guy's a socialist. I think they
- 27:26Speaker 1: should have to tell you that because if some, and
- 27:29Speaker 1: I don't want to make this about gender or the
- 27:31Speaker 1: nine genders or 12, whatever they are, but if some
- 27:35Speaker 1: female reporter is sleeping with the staffer for a Democratic
- 27:40Speaker 1: left-wing senator. They should know.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I should know.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I should know at the beginning of the story. Hi,
- 27:48Speaker 1: I'm Katie. What's your name? And I'm shacking up with.
- 27:54Speaker 1: State Senator Guy's aide.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And if you claim it hasn't happened in a while,
- 27:59Speaker 2: I want to know if you text him when you're drunk.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I also want to know that. We've got to take
- 28:02Speaker 2: a break.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I want to see the text.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I want to see the text. Quick break.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I want to see the videos.
- 28:06Speaker 2: That's what the mob guys demand. KSEV, the voice of Texas.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Quick break. A lot more after this.
- 28:20Speaker 6: She was 14 years old, for sale in a motel
- 28:24Speaker 6: off I-35. Traffic through Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. Now
- 28:30Speaker 6: her traffickers are in prison because Ken Paxton put them there.
- 28:35Speaker 6: 40 years for the trafficker, 20 years for the woman
- 28:38Speaker 6: who posted the ads online. The human trafficking and organized
- 28:43Speaker 6: crime unit that locked them up, Ken Paxton built it.
- 28:46Speaker 6: The website that sold kids like used cars online. Ken
- 28:50Speaker 6: Paxton shut it down. Politicians talk the talk about protecting
- 28:55Speaker 6: our kids. Ken Paxton walks their traffickers directly to prison.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Protecting Texas kids and locking up the people who prey

- 31:31Speaker 7: Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather meteorologist Joe Lundberg.
- 31:46Speaker 2: KSCV Radio, AM 700, The Voice of Texas. I am
- 31:51Speaker 2: Craig Colonese. He is Wayne DelCefino. Getting to know him
- 31:55Speaker 2: a little bit more off the air, because really, I
- 31:57Speaker 2: know people still ask me this. I don't know if
- 31:58Speaker 2: they still ask you this, Wayne. On social media, but
- 32:00Speaker 2: we didn't know each other until like three weeks ago.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Nobody mentions you.
- 32:05Speaker 2: They ask me that occasionally because they think that we
- 32:07Speaker 2: have pretty good chemistry on the radio. They assume we
- 32:10Speaker 2: knew each other for a long time. We don't know
- 32:12Speaker 2: each other at all.
- 32:13Speaker 1: No, no. We're originally Yankees. We came down here to
- 32:18Speaker 1: learn from the Southern magic. But we do have a
- 32:24Speaker 1: lot in common. Like we were just talking off the air.
- 32:27Speaker 1: You asked me if I'm a dog person. Or a
- 32:30Speaker 1: cat person.
- 32:31Speaker 16: Yes.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And I would say, well, I'm a gerbil person. I'm
- 32:34Speaker 1: just kidding. I'm totally joking.
- 32:37Speaker 9: I don't want to know.
- 32:39Speaker 1: But I said I'm a dog person because I had
- 32:41Speaker 1: two cats once early on when my kids were young,
- 32:45Speaker 1: and they were peeing on my bed. And I think
- 32:50Speaker 1: the folks out there will understand that the peeing on
- 32:53Speaker 1: my bed, I let it happen once because I thought, well,
- 32:57Speaker 1: maybe there was an accident. Sure. When it happened a
- 33:01Speaker 1: second time, they were out the door. And I don't
- 33:04Speaker 1: care where they went. They're gone.
- 33:06Speaker 2: The reason I asked you that, by the way, is
- 33:08Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw this story at a
- 33:09Speaker 2: San Diego. I think it was on like Channel 2,
- 33:12Speaker 2: their CBS affiliate there. A guy broke into a home.
- 33:16Speaker 2: He like climbed a ladder to get to the second
- 33:18Speaker 2: floor of a house, broke into a home. And then
- 33:20Speaker 2: the intruder took his shirt off, set up like a
- 33:22Speaker 2: little like sort of a mattress to sleep on on
- 33:25Speaker 2: the ground and started eating snacks. None of that is
- 33:28Speaker 2: terribly interesting for us to talk about. But the reason
- 33:31Speaker 2: it went viral is the home owned a dog. The
- 33:34Speaker 2: dog's name is Nash. And Nash greeted the intruder by
- 33:38Speaker 2: trying to get him to play with him. He was
- 33:40Speaker 2: bringing him toys and stuff. I have a little bit
- 33:42Speaker 2: of the news audio from this. I thought it was
- 33:44Speaker 2: pretty funny.
- 33:44Speaker 8: We just watched it all happen from my phone. The dogs,
- 33:47Speaker 8: like we just want to make sure that they were safe.
- 33:49Speaker 8: Nash was not the greatest guard dog. We thought that
- 33:51Speaker 8: he was going to be barking at people and he
- 33:54Speaker 8: did the exact opposite.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he just wanted to play. And three different times
- 33:57Speaker 2: the video shows the dog walking up with a toy
- 34:00Speaker 2: to the intruder that's a stranger in the house and
- 34:03Speaker 2: like trying to play. And then my favorite part, and
- 34:05Speaker 2: actually my wife's favorite part of the video, when the
- 34:07Speaker 2: cops inevitably come, Because they have a ring doorbell, so
- 34:10Speaker 2: they saw the intruder get in. They call the cops.
- 34:13Speaker 2: The cops have, like, guns out. The dog tried to
- 34:15Speaker 2: play with the cops as the cops were bursting open
- 34:18Speaker 2: the door.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I have, at.
- 34:21Speaker 1: My house up in Dripping Springs, we had five dogs,
- 34:26Speaker 1: and now we have just three. One has three legs.
- 34:32Speaker 1: We didn't rip the leg off. It was already off
- 34:35Speaker 1: when we got the dog. We got a rescue dog.
- 34:38Speaker 1: It's a white dog that was, like, totally black when
- 34:41Speaker 1: we got it, and we brought it back, and she's great.
- 34:44Speaker 1: We have another dog we bought outside a Target when
- 34:48Speaker 1: my kids were young, and he's a really cute dog,
- 34:53Speaker 1: but kind of mentally ill. Sure. I mean, and then
- 34:57Speaker 1: I have another one that, and that one that we
- 35:00Speaker 1: bought outside Target, just runs around in a circle like this.
- 35:04Speaker 2: But so happy, though. That dog is a very happy dog.
- 35:08Speaker 1: No, the dog is freaked out. Oh, okay. You could
- 35:11Speaker 1: be 10 feet from my dog, and the dog will
- 35:15Speaker 1: start screaming like you just stepped on her tail.
- 35:18Speaker 2: What about when she's running in that circle, though, by herself,
- 35:21Speaker 2: and she's got to be happy then, at least. That's
- 35:23Speaker 2: got to make her happy.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I think she's suicidal.
- 35:26Speaker 10: Okay.
- 35:26Speaker 3: All right.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Well, that's fine.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I think like everybody else, she's mentally ill and just
- 35:31Speaker 1: doesn't know how to do it.
- 35:32Speaker 2: The reason I like dogs more than cats is that
- 35:34Speaker 2: they're much more friendly. Cats, I've said this a bunch
- 35:37Speaker 2: of times. I made this joke. I get angry messages
- 35:39Speaker 2: from the cat people when I do the national shows
- 35:42Speaker 2: and I don't care. Cats actually do want to kill you.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Studies were done that said they desire to do it,
- 35:47Speaker 2: but they know they're not big enough to get it done.
- 35:50Speaker 2: So they live with you reluctantly because they know they
- 35:52Speaker 2: can't actually kill you and eat you.
- 35:55Speaker 1: See, this is the kind of thing that scares voters. Right?
- 36:00Speaker 4: Sure.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Can you tell a cat person when you meet them?
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you can tell a cat person pretty quick. They're
- 36:06Speaker 2: mostly liberals, I think.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I don't like them.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Well, you could also tell them that they've got, like,
- 36:13Speaker 1: blue hair.
- 36:14Speaker 10: Yes.
- 36:14Speaker 1: And, like, earrings and tattoos all over them, you could say. Yes.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Let me just guess. Let me take a wild guess.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Yeah, let me assume.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Do we want to play the audio of the faith
- 36:25Speaker 2: leader for Tallarico, the one that went viral from Daily
- 36:27Speaker 2: Caller on Friday afternoon, I think, with the inclusive Bible,
- 36:31Speaker 2: or you don't even care about it? We don't have to.
- 36:33Speaker 1: No, look, I do care. Look, I have said to
- 36:38Speaker 1: everyone I know that James Tallarico is what he has
- 36:44Speaker 1: said he is.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:46Speaker 1: And that this extreme makeover Tallarico edition... that he's doing,
- 36:53Speaker 1: if people fall into that, right? Look, this election is
- 36:59Speaker 1: just common sense versus crazy.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Yes.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I lost Wayne for a second there.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Hold on.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Let me get Wayne right back. We lost Wayne. We
- 37:08Speaker 2: hit the wrong button, and so we disconnected with him,
- 37:10Speaker 2: but we can get him right back. Wayne, I lost you.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I also worry about whether or not those same people
- 37:18Speaker 1: don't believe that we are fixing things and there's so
- 37:23Speaker 1: many actually decent economic numbers.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 37:26Speaker 15: Right.
- 37:27Speaker 1: And like, like I was talking about the labor markets
- 37:29Speaker 1: earlier and I'm not trying to get real economic with,
- 37:31Speaker 1: but you know, we were losing jobs and, and the
- 37:35Speaker 1: job numbers were horrible Trump's first year because we got
- 37:39Speaker 1: rid of like all the government folks that the only
- 37:43Speaker 1: jobs that went up in the Biden administration were We're
- 37:47Speaker 1: government employees and illegals. It's sort of like the growth
- 37:52Speaker 1: in a place like Harris County. It's all foreigners. It's
- 37:56Speaker 1: all illegals. There's not like vast amounts of folks moving here. Yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Well, so here you're referencing one of the other pieces
- 38:04Speaker 2: of audio that's also been out there and viral and
- 38:06Speaker 2: I think broke on Thursday initially. And we played it once,
- 38:08Speaker 2: but we'll play it again. This is Reverend Babs Miller
- 38:12Speaker 2: of his Presbyterian church. on a recorded camera that she
- 38:16Speaker 2: thinks she's talking to a friendly person that's, you know,
- 38:19Speaker 2: actually getting her on the record to say a crazy thing,
- 38:22Speaker 2: that Tallarica.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Will 100% Don't talk to anyone.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Tallarica will 100% flip-flop as soon as he is
- 38:29Speaker 2: in office is what she says here. Let's play that audio.
- 38:32Speaker 2: People are attacking Tallarica for saying that God is non-binary.
- 38:36Speaker 8: That's literally what he is.
- 38:41Speaker 17: He went on Fox News and walked that back.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Did you see that?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he's giving some advice that I don't think he
- 38:53Speaker 1: should be following.
- 38:54Speaker 17: Yeah, because that's frankly something that attracted me to this church.
- 39:01Speaker 5: And I can guarantee you that once he gets elected,
- 39:04Speaker 5: he'll change his tune.
- 39:05Speaker 17: Yeah okay once he gets elected play this game yes.
- 39:09Speaker 5: That's that's what his campaign has convinced him of is.
- 39:12Speaker 2: That he's got to play the game he's got to
- 39:14Speaker 2: play and and uh you know pretend as though his
- 39:16Speaker 2: thoughts are different than they actually are and then he'll
- 39:18Speaker 2: go right back yeah look.
- 39:21Speaker 1: A pastor named babs is actually more significant to me
- 39:26Speaker 1: no The reality is he is just as weird as
- 39:33Speaker 1: we think he is. And all his handlers have said, look, dude,
- 39:37Speaker 1: this ain't gonna work if you don't play the... Well,
- 39:40Speaker 1: we may believe in fairies and nuts, just don't mention it.
- 39:46Speaker 1: But that's who these people are, and... They represent a,
- 39:51Speaker 1: I believe, rather small segment of the left wing, the
- 39:57Speaker 1: far left, what I call them, the socialists, who actually
- 40:00Speaker 1: believe that we should start catering to everybody's weird stuff. Yeah.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And I think it's time for a Kennedy moment. I
- 40:13Speaker 1: hate to invoke the name of a Democrat, but John
- 40:16Speaker 1: Kennedy's moment where he said, Ask not what your country
- 40:21Speaker 1: can do for you, but what you can do for
- 40:25Speaker 1: your country. Back then, it really inspired people. Now, I'm
- 40:31Speaker 1: afraid it might just people would go, what?
- 40:35Speaker 4: What?
- 40:35Speaker 2: People get my food stamps. Yeah, I genuinely think that
- 40:39Speaker 2: if people by and large were asked to do something
- 40:41Speaker 2: for their country outside of people who serve and protect
- 40:43Speaker 2: this country in our military or like police officers and whatnot.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I think a vast majority of the people that heard
- 40:49Speaker 2: that message today would just get mad. Like, how dare
- 40:51Speaker 2: you ask me for anything?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Well, and not only that, but how dare you tell
- 40:55Speaker 1: me that the government isn't there to take care of
- 40:58Speaker 1: my crap, right? Right. So I decide I want to
- 41:01Speaker 1: have seven kids with eight daddies.
- 41:04Speaker 10: Yes.
- 41:05Speaker 7: Right?
- 41:05Speaker 1: I'm okay with that, right? I'll just, like, have sex
- 41:09Speaker 1: with everything in the world. Sure. And tell no one to,
- 41:12Speaker 1: you know, protect themselves because I know.
- 41:16Speaker 1: You're going to pay for it, Wayne. I have very
- 41:19Speaker 1: little sympathy. I'm serious. Call me a boomer. I don't care.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I worked my butt off since I was like 17
- 41:27Speaker 1: years old. Literally, I've been working since I was in
- 41:31Speaker 1: the womb. And I worked my butt off. I don't
- 41:37Speaker 1: feel the need. I don't mind helping a few people.
- 41:42Speaker 1: And I say very few. If you called me and said, hey,
- 41:45Speaker 1: I need some money You're not going to happen. But
- 41:50Speaker 1: I do believe in unemployment. I think it's fine for
- 41:55Speaker 1: about six months.
- 41:57Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 41:58Speaker 1: You've got to find a job.
- 41:59Speaker 3: I understand.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I would be much– if you want to have more
- 42:04Speaker 1: than two kids, I better know that you can afford
- 42:07Speaker 1: these kids because I ain't there for you.
- 42:11Speaker 2: And I agree with you, and I think that those
- 42:13Speaker 2: types of messages can land with more people. I think
- 42:16Speaker 2: there are more people.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I sound cruel.
- 42:17Speaker 2: No, I don't think so. I think that if they're–
- 42:20Speaker 2: because you don't. You actually said that for a few
- 42:22Speaker 2: months is a thing that can prop you up to
- 42:24Speaker 2: get you to your next position. That makes sense. You
- 42:26Speaker 2: don't like abuse of systems. I don't like abuse of systems.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Most people don't want other people to abuse the charity
- 42:35Speaker 2: that we'd like to provide in this world. And a
- 42:37Speaker 2: lot of people do it.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the homeless people you see on every
- 42:40Speaker 1: corner in Houston, right?
- 42:42Speaker 10: Yes.
- 42:43Speaker 1: If I see someone that has no, and I'm not,
- 42:46Speaker 1: you know me, I'm not known for my subtlety. If
- 42:48Speaker 1: I see someone with no legs in a wheelchair who's
- 42:51Speaker 1: got a smile on his face, right, despite having two
- 42:54Speaker 1: legs whacked off, I'm going to give that guy money. Sure.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Sometimes I'll give him a 20.
- 43:00Speaker 4: Sure.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I even give him more sometimes. Sure. Right, on that moment.
- 43:04Speaker 1: But if I see some obviously crazy person, right? Not
- 43:09Speaker 1: mentally challenged, crazy person on the corner who's coming up
- 43:15Speaker 1: to my windshield. I hate that. I don't want you
- 43:18Speaker 1: to wash my windshield. I don't want you to touch it.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Although I do have a little bit more feeling for
- 43:24Speaker 1: the people that want to at least put a squeegee
- 43:27Speaker 1: across my windshield. I feel that's worth something. You're doing something, yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I think it's the same thing with this. People don't
- 43:36Speaker 1: mind helping But we're being taken advantage of by generations
- 43:41Speaker 1: of people.
- 43:41Speaker 10: Yes.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Well, and honestly, I do think that's why the stories
- 43:44Speaker 2: out of Minnesota, Minneapolis or anywhere like they actually landed.
- 43:46Speaker 2: I know we got one more break we got to take.
- 43:48Speaker 2: And we haven't talked about what happened in Austin, where
- 43:51Speaker 2: people then eventually protested and stuff all last night. And
- 43:54Speaker 2: we are going to Austin. You and I will be
- 43:56Speaker 2: there on Friday for an event, which is interesting. Just
- 43:59Speaker 2: a few days after it became part of a bigger story,
- 44:01Speaker 2: at least in the state or in the country. So
- 44:03Speaker 2: I know we've got one more break we've got to take, right?
- 44:05Speaker 2: Or are we out of breaks?
- 44:06Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I'm not seeing.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I do request that all the Californians leave Austin.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I think that Bonnie was just talking to Russell, so
- 44:12Speaker 2: I'm trying to get Russell. Do we have one more
- 44:14Speaker 2: break to take?
- 44:14Speaker 15: Yeah, we do.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:15Speaker 2: We've got a break. We've got to take a break.
- 44:16Speaker 2: So let's do that, and then we'll get back, and
- 44:18Speaker 2: we'll do more in just a bit. On The Voice
- 44:20Speaker 2: of Texas, KSEV, 700 a.m.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Hey!
- 44:28Speaker 14: Houston Methodist Hospital has been named the best hospital in
- 44:31Speaker 14: Texas for patient care and quality for the 15th year
- 44:34Speaker 14: in a row by U.S. News and World Report. We're
- 44:38Speaker 14: proud to be a top-ranked hospital in the country, ranked
- 44:40Speaker 14: in 11 specialties. For more than 100 years, Houston Methodist
- 44:45Speaker 14: has provided our community with the highest quality care. That's
- 44:49Speaker 14: the difference between practicing medicine and leading it. Houston Methodist.
- 44:53Speaker 14: Leading Medicine.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Hello, managers.
- 44:58Speaker 16: Pine Jess Investment has an opening in Houston for a
- 45:01Speaker 16: general manager to oversee two gas stations with convenience stores.
- 45:05Speaker 16: He or she will supervise store managers, set schedules, assign duties,
- 45:09Speaker 16: review sales and expenses, manage and replenish inventory, decide prices,
- 45:14Speaker 16: and make sales promotions. If interested, email your resume to

- 45:29Speaker 18: It's Kathy from Baker Mortgage. You know, with all the
- 45:31Speaker 18: scary stuff we've been through, it's still true that timing
- 45:34Speaker 18: is everything and the time to buy is now. But
- 45:37Speaker 18: don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand. And
- 45:40Speaker 18: this includes an application and a detailed discussion about property taxes.
- 45:45Speaker 18: If you didn't have the talk... You know, about property taxes,
- 45:49Speaker 18: you really don't know what you're pre-approved for. That should
- 45:51Speaker 18: make you wonder what else they may have left out.
- 45:54Speaker 18: Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing with your
- 45:56Speaker 18: home and your money, and it doesn't get much more
- 45:59Speaker 18: personal than that. When it's the largest transaction that most
- 46:02Speaker 18: people will ever be involved in, imagine having someone on
- 46:05Speaker 18: your side looking out after you.
- 46:07Speaker 2: What a concept.
- 46:08Speaker 18: We audit your closing statement to make sure you're not
- 46:11Speaker 18: paying for things that you're not supposed to. Do you
- 46:13Speaker 18: think your big bank's going to do that? Probably not.
- 46:16Speaker 18: For all of your mortgage needs, call us at Baker Mortgage.

- 47:01Speaker 2: Voice of Texas. He is Wayne Dolcefino. I am Craig Colonese.
- 47:06Speaker 2: We were talking off the air about what happened in Austin,
- 47:08Speaker 2: and that has been a big discussion here in the state,
- 47:13Speaker 2: and then also I think some national news is covering it.
- 47:16Speaker 2: There was another ICE-involved incident. Someone was shot. I believe
- 47:19Speaker 2: that they're recovering at a hospital, so I don't believe
- 47:21Speaker 2: the person who got shot died. But there was someone
- 47:24Speaker 2: who got shot, and there's an ICE officer that's involved
- 47:26Speaker 2: in that.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 47:28Speaker 2: What's that?
- 47:28Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:30Speaker 2: And the initial reporting from even the politicians in Austin
- 47:34Speaker 2: was that like the ICE agent shot through windows and
- 47:37Speaker 2: attacked the guy. And none of that wound up being
- 47:40Speaker 2: accurate to the actual video evidence that seems to demonstrate
- 47:44Speaker 2: that a foot chase occurred and that a bunch of
- 47:46Speaker 2: other things happened. So and I think, Wayne, you were
- 47:49Speaker 2: just saying this off the air, so I'll let you
- 47:50Speaker 2: do it on the air. part of the thing is
- 47:53Speaker 2: I think I still isn't giving all the information now.
- 47:56Speaker 2: And there's some reasons behind that. What do you want
- 47:58Speaker 2: to say about that?
- 47:59Speaker 1: Well, there are some reasons behind it, but, but, but again,
- 48:03Speaker 1: it's look, I understand they got burned, right? When they
- 48:05Speaker 1: came out and, and said what they said after the
- 48:09Speaker 1: killings in, in Minnesota. But at the same time, you've
- 48:14Speaker 1: got to defend your people. You've got to explain to
- 48:20Speaker 1: people that, What you were doing, like if they if
- 48:24Speaker 1: they didn't pull this guy out of a Home Depot,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I assume. I don't know what happened exactly. Do you
- 48:29Speaker 1: know the details of what this guy was allegedly?
- 48:32Speaker 2: I think he was right. So I think he had
- 48:34Speaker 2: a final order of extradition and they were trying to
- 48:37Speaker 2: pick him up because he was on his final order
- 48:39Speaker 2: to get out. And when they were trying to pick
- 48:42Speaker 2: him up, he ran.
- 48:42Speaker 1: And of course he did.
- 48:44Speaker 7: Right.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I'm shocked.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:46Speaker 2: And then an escalation of events happened to inevitably involve
- 48:49Speaker 2: someone firing a weapon.
- 48:51Speaker 1: And was there some blue haired idiot like with the
- 48:54Speaker 1: camera in the face?
- 48:55Speaker 2: There might have been.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 48:56Speaker 1: The ice guy's going, you're a Nazi, you're a killer. Right.
- 49:01Speaker 1: I mean, look, I would get pissed off, too. I mean,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I get it. We should not be allowing people to
- 49:08Speaker 1: get that close to these scenes. I mean, there's no...
- 49:11Speaker 1: They really need to have a little more crowd control
- 49:14Speaker 1: when they do these things. I think that would help them.
- 49:18Speaker 1: But if you've been told to leave by a judge,
- 49:26Speaker 1: you're gone. I don't understand why we're like... Every morning
- 49:33Speaker 1: I was telling you, I wake up and there's some
- 49:36Speaker 1: video of some ICE person being mean to some little girls, daddy.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I mean, look, I mean, criminals have kids too.
- 49:44Speaker 6: I get it.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Well, I would also tell you, Wayne, to be totally honest,
- 49:48Speaker 2: when you're like almost arrested and if you choose to
- 49:52Speaker 2: run in a vehicle, I think that he actually like
- 49:54Speaker 2: drove away, sped away in a vehicle and it's a
- 49:56Speaker 2: high speed pursuit. That car is a weapon. People don't
- 50:00Speaker 2: want to admit that, but that car can obviously hurt
- 50:03Speaker 2: other people and doesn't even have to be the ICE
- 50:06Speaker 2: agent that fears for his own life, he can fear
- 50:08Speaker 2: for the life of one of the other ICE agents
- 50:10Speaker 2: involved or even people that are just innocent that could
- 50:13Speaker 2: be run over from someone driving away at high speeds.
- 50:17Speaker 2: There are reasons that you could legitimately fire a weapon
- 50:21Speaker 2: into a vehicle when someone's running away from you Right.
- 50:24Speaker 14: Right.
- 50:24Speaker 10: Right.
- 50:53Speaker 2: That probably aren't actually the story.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but look, they just don't want us to enforce
- 50:59Speaker 1: immigration law. Yes. And unfortunately, the Republicans have been given
- 51:05Speaker 1: a big giant turd sandwich because the other guys let
- 51:10Speaker 1: all these millions of people in without any regard for
- 51:13Speaker 1: where they were from or whether they were a terrorist
- 51:16Speaker 1: or whether they were a killer or a child sex predator.
- 51:20Speaker 1: They let them come on in.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Come on.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Everybody bring your friends from Kurdistan or wherever the hell
- 51:27Speaker 1: they're from. Sure. Right. So they've done it. How do
- 51:31Speaker 1: you undo it? And I'm not sure we can to
- 51:36Speaker 1: the level that we need to. I look at how
- 51:39Speaker 1: much trouble we're having, just getting rid of the killers. Right.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:44Speaker 1: We're like arrested sex offenders and they're going 50% of
- 51:48Speaker 1: the people that have been, I saw that stat last month,
- 51:52Speaker 1: don't have a criminal record. Well, first of all, they
- 51:55Speaker 1: violated the law when they came across the border. But
- 51:58Speaker 1: here's a breaking news flash for you left-wing freaks out there.
- 52:02Speaker 1: When you arrest a criminal, illegal immigrant, chances are he'll
- 52:07Speaker 1: be hanging out with his buddy, and I won't get
- 52:11Speaker 1: in trouble, I'd say his buddy, and his buddy is
- 52:15Speaker 1: not a criminal, but hanging out with a criminal. And so...
- 52:20Speaker 1: He gets scooped up, too. And what are we supposed
- 52:23Speaker 1: to do? Say, unless you've killed someone. Because you know what?
- 52:30Speaker 1: Some people are burglars now who go on to kill people.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I just.
- 52:35Speaker 2: No, you're right. Sometimes you pick up one guy and
- 52:38Speaker 2: the guy next to him is actually the real bad
- 52:40Speaker 2: guy and you get.
- 52:41Speaker 18: Him, too.
- 52:42Speaker 2: But nonetheless, this is this is the Mob Guys KSV radio. Wayne,
- 52:47Speaker 2: you are busy until Friday, but you will be with
- 52:50Speaker 2: us on Friday, right?
- 52:51Speaker 1: No, I'm going to be there at this big event
- 52:54Speaker 1: in Austin. What is it?
- 52:55Speaker 2: It is this Friday. We will be live from 7
- 52:57Speaker 2: to 9 o'clock in Austin at the Faith Fest, the
- 53:00Speaker 2: Texas Faith Fest. Brandon Gill is a big speaker at
- 53:03Speaker 2: that event, so we'll talk to him, quite a few
