- 0:06Speaker 2: on nothing of note. No, not really nothing unusual, just
- 0:10Speaker 2: a barbecue had we had. We had a nice birthday
- 0:14Speaker 2: dinner last night or for me and for my son.
- 0:20Speaker 2: That's nice. Yeah, it was. We had. We had schnitzel.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So we we were at the tree farm, okay and
- 0:31Speaker 1: uh up in Huntsville, up in Huntsville, and my husband
- 0:36Speaker 1: Joe said, I'm gonna I'm gonna make brunch on Sunday
- 0:40Speaker 1: and invite my mom up for brunch, a nice little,
- 0:43Speaker 1: nice little farm brunch. And uh she came up and
- 0:49Speaker 1: we sat down at the table.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Kill a chicken.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We did not kill a chicken, but uh he he
- 0:56Speaker 1: made eggs, which I don't eat. But he made a
- 1:00Speaker 1: toast and bacon, and I take the toast and the
- 1:03Speaker 1: bacon and I make a little bacon sandwich.
- 1:05Speaker 2: No, you don't you put you put bacon on toast
- 1:09Speaker 2: and nothing else. That's not a sandwich. You got you
- 1:12Speaker 2: gotta have condiments.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And I bit into the bacon sandwich and my front
- 1:19Speaker 1: tooth came off in the bread.
- 1:21Speaker 3: It's a whole thing.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Who go to x ninety six dot com slash live.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Oh my, so you had a cat.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You have had a cap on. I've told you about
- 1:32Speaker 1: that tooth before where I lost it when I was
- 1:36Speaker 1: a kid roller skating in the basement.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a like like you do.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I have a cap on on that same tooth.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Uh in because I was swinging on a tether ball
- 1:49Speaker 2: pole and the tether ball pole stop and I didn't.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Uh God, bless our dentist, doctor Kelly Carroll. Uh. You know,
- 2:00Speaker 1: it's a holiday weekend, it's a Sunday, and it's a
- 2:03Speaker 1: Sunday on a holiday. I texted him this photo and
- 2:09Speaker 1: said Happy Memorial Day, and he immediately texted me back.
- 2:15Speaker 1: He was out golfing with his wife, of course, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: he said, uh. He said, he said, meet me, meet
- 2:23Speaker 1: me at the at the office. And I said, well,
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm in Huntsville. It's going to take me like an
- 2:28Speaker 1: hour to get there. Great, I'll meet you there. So
- 2:32Speaker 1: I come down and I got to because there wasn't
- 2:37Speaker 1: a lot of traffic. I got down faster than I
- 2:39Speaker 1: thought I would.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Now, can I ask you that this did not hurt?
- 2:44Speaker 1: No?
- 2:45Speaker 2: No, So so I would have just said, well wait
- 2:47Speaker 2: till Tuesday. Monday, or Tuesday or A'll wait till Tuesday.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Why you know why Well, because it's a holiday weekend
- 2:58Speaker 2: and he's golfing with his wife.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But it's my front tooth. Yeah, and I'm sure it
- 3:05Speaker 1: being exposed isn't great.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I don't know it'd be fine until Monday or Tuesday.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Anyway. So so like drove past his office. He wasn't
- 3:17Speaker 1: there yet, So I thought, well, I'm gonna go get
- 3:19Speaker 1: some gas and then come back. So I go to
- 3:23Speaker 1: the Maverick there at Fort Union.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Well that's a good one.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And I'm filling up with gas and I hear Gina,
- 3:31Speaker 1: and I turn around front of the program, thought that
- 3:34Speaker 1: was you, and I not thinking big.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Smile, Yeah, Hi, big toothless smile.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Hello. And I'm sure I'm sure that the person who
- 3:45Speaker 2: you smiled at said, oh my god, even.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Thinking I would have, you know, given it one of
- 3:52Speaker 1: these Hello, happy even world, very nice, nice disease.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Sure, this is never a problem for me because I
- 3:59Speaker 2: don't smile.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Geez.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I get there and and doctor Carroll is there
- 4:06Speaker 1: with his wife because they've been out. And when inside,
- 4:14Speaker 1: you had the tooth with you. Yeah, Ca. And and
- 4:18Speaker 1: that's actually when I called him. He said, do you
- 4:21Speaker 1: have it? Because if I didn't, he probably couldn't have helped.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yes, he's no, I'm afraid we're gonna have to wait
- 4:27Speaker 2: for it to pass.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And uh so I went in and and get in
- 4:32Speaker 1: the chair and he's like, this should be no problem.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And I said, I don't understand. It's not like I
- 4:37Speaker 1: was biting into an apple or anything. And he said
- 4:41Speaker 1: was it bread? Like, how did you know that? Wow?
- 4:45Speaker 1: He's like, he said bread, And this kind of makes
- 4:48Speaker 1: sense when you think about it. You know how sometimes
- 4:50Speaker 1: bread kind of sticks to your tea when you bite
- 4:53Speaker 1: into it. Yeah, he said it kind of. It can
- 4:55Speaker 1: like vacuum have a vacuum kind of thing.
- 4:58Speaker 3: No idea.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I eat vacuum bread all the time and I don't
- 5:01Speaker 2: have a problem.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what how did you know it was bread?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Well, now that's his job. So who put that cap on?
- 5:09Speaker 2: The last time it was put on? You remember? Has
- 5:13Speaker 2: it been on your or has it been in your
- 5:15Speaker 2: mouth since since it first?
- 5:17Speaker 1: No? No, this is this is a new doctor Carroll
- 5:20Speaker 1: actually put a new one on.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I would have just said you might try and use
- 5:24Speaker 2: a little better glue. Well, and he.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Said this, you know, he's like I've had. You know,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I've done thousands of these and it never I'm like, no, you,
- 5:31Speaker 1: but this is me. You're talking about it.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yeah, if something will go wrong, it will be.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It will go wrong for me, use the special glue.
- 5:39Speaker 1: But now I am paranoid to eat. You know you
- 5:41Speaker 1: can kind of see. Well, yeah, I'm not going to
- 5:43Speaker 1: bite into an apple. Now I'm worried about biting into bread.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Hmmm, Well it's I think that that's wonderful that you
- 5:51Speaker 2: now have something else to worry about. I think that's great.
- 5:56Speaker 2: And and you know, and I think ninety percent of
- 5:58Speaker 2: your stories they always end up with and now I
- 6:01Speaker 2: have something else to worry about.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So that was my holiday.
- 6:07Speaker 2: See what I'm going to do, Gina, I'm going to
- 6:10Speaker 2: relieve you of these burdens. I'm going to start worrying
- 6:13Speaker 2: about it for you.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Okay, you're going to carry.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I am so worried that you will bite into some
- 6:19Speaker 2: bread and lose your tooth again. I'm really worried about it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Does that help?
- 6:24Speaker 3: I had some very dense bread this weekend.
- 6:27Speaker 1: To be careful with that dense bread.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Taking your tooth.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, dense bread.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Did you go out or was this home.
- 6:34Speaker 4: No, this was This was from the bakery at the
- 6:38Speaker 4: grocery store, and Sue got yelled at by the person
- 6:42Speaker 4: there because why says you.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Really shouldn't shouldn't be ready until eleven? Well, I'm here now,
- 6:48Speaker 3: could I No it's too hot? No, well i'm here now.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I just want a half a half a loaf. Well
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's too hot.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Well if it's too hot, well I need the bread.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm here here, then take it.
- 7:00Speaker 4: You know, someone very protective of there's a way that
- 7:05Speaker 4: we do things.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Well, you know it's not how we do.
- 7:08Speaker 2: You don't want you don't want lawsuits of people who've
- 7:10Speaker 2: been burned by bread.
- 7:12Speaker 3: But it was delicious, wonderful, dense bread.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm dense bread.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And then Sue bought pasta at World Market.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, delicious.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I saw it on the Stanley Tucci Show. Yeah, then
- 7:28Speaker 4: on the Tucci Dry Pasta.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 3: And they only make this in uh Napoli.
- 7:37Speaker 1: What shape was it?
- 7:38Speaker 4: It was batina katini the straw, Yeah, delicious, delicious.
- 7:45Speaker 1: What kind of sauce you do with that?
- 7:46Speaker 3: It was a tomato pesto.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's perfect for buccatini. A little, a little thinner
- 7:51Speaker 2: sauce is good with bucatini, so it'll get into those,
- 7:54Speaker 2: into the inside of it.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And then I had a hantavirus argument with my husband.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And argument argument was was there any yelling? No? Was
- 8:04Speaker 2: there any throwing?
- 8:05Speaker 1: No?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Was there? Then there wasn't an argument. It was a discussion.
- 8:10Speaker 2: You had a discussion.
- 8:11Speaker 1: So he said, he said, I'm gonna go clean out
- 8:13Speaker 1: the barn. It's okay, it's out there, clean, you know,
- 8:17Speaker 1: with the chop back. And and he came out and
- 8:21Speaker 1: I said, did you wear a mask while you were
- 8:23Speaker 1: in there? And he said no, it's fine. I said,
- 8:28Speaker 1: that's how you get handed virus stirn up dust in
- 8:33Speaker 1: a barn. And he said, he said, you can't get
- 8:37Speaker 1: hand to virus here, and I said, b s And
- 8:41Speaker 1: he's And he went into this whole thing about it's
- 8:45Speaker 1: it's mice that are that are in the desert down
- 8:49Speaker 1: south and those mice don't come here, and I was
- 8:52Speaker 1: just sure he was wrong.
- 8:54Speaker 2: No, he's not.
- 8:54Speaker 3: And did you google it?
- 8:55Speaker 1: And I googled it and you were and there's like
- 8:59Speaker 1: one hand to virus case a year, maybe in northern Utah.
- 9:04Speaker 1: He's like those my and I said, well, you still
- 9:07Speaker 1: should wear a mask.
- 9:08Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, you call the dust and craft exactly.
- 9:13Speaker 1: But talking about things I don't need to worry about,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I guess I don't need to worry about handa virus.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Well, there hanna virus with the bread. There's one, Gina,
- 9:28Speaker 2: there is one, at least one case of handa virus
- 9:31Speaker 2: a year. That should give you something to worry about,
- 9:33Speaker 2: because you know it could very very likely.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That was my weekend.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Wonderful. What a life you lead. It's you know, it's
- 9:47Speaker 2: just charmed. It is jealous, you bet,
