- 0:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yo, we, uh, we got the, what kind of like halfway commitment from Blake earlier this week?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_05]: Like guys, I think I'll be able to do it Friday night.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's real, real half a, a real half a ass commitment.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_06]: I kind of, I knew I was like, yeah, I remember those days.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_06]: I, that's just,
- 0:58[SPEAKER_06]: You're just going to do what you got to do to survive with a new child.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, Blake still got the newborn daughter at home and according to him, she cries all the time every night and I said, you know what?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_05]: That's what my son did to last year.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_05]: I remember those days.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_05]: I thought I was going to black out for him, but actually I still remember somehow.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_05]: But whatever here we are, we're going to be going through the Browns 2026 schedule.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_05]: The release was last night.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to talk about the video of the Browns put together.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_05]: Some other things around the, you know, the opponents and everything that we got coming up here in 2026 and how it all shook out for the Browns.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_05]: If you guys want to in the comments here, start letting us know.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_05]: What do you guys think?
- 1:37[SPEAKER_05]: Record-wise, just I know we don't even know for sure what the final roster looks like or even who's playing quarterback even though we can talk about that here in a little bit, but let us know some of your roster predictions as we go along.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_05]: If you guys want to get into the dog pack before we get started here and I go to join the dogs.com hang out with everybody over there, get into the private discord and then you can be part of the discord dog pack live episodes.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_05]: And fantasy football is starting.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_05]: We well, not starting, but the registrations will be starting here on June 1.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_05]: So we're about halfway through the month of May.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll be kicking off registrations before long.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_05]: And then, I mean, the summer rolls by real quick.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_05]: It's training camp is preseason and then boom, we're doing drafts.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_05]: So get in now, hang out, get to know everybody.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_05]: It's a ton of fun.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_05]: Join the dogs dot com.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_05]: And actually, me and Justin have a little fantasy football game.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to play at the end of the show here for you guys.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_05]: If you watch my short video from the other day on social media,
- 2:32[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be kind of the same thing.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to use a randomizer for the teams.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_05]: We've got our roster spots and then whatever team pops up, you just have to pick somebody from that team real quick.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_05]: And once you fill your running back, you can't pick a running back again.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_06]: So little fantasy exercise.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_06]: Most exercise I've had in a couple weeks now.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_06]: So here we go.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_06]: Very excited.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, exercise on your emotions if you're watching the calves right now.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_05]: I believe that's what has the halftime.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_06]: The other one.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_06]: I think we just hit halftime.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't watch the last 30 seconds, but they crawled back to within close to three.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_06]: That's emotional roller coaster right now.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_05]: It is normal.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_06]: Normal calves play off, you know.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_05]: That's a basketball game, too.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, from the tip to the, I mean, it's up and down the whole way.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_05]: You got, you know, a series of runs here and runs there and then by the end of the game, it's down to the last, you know, a couple of baskets.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_05]: So it's,
- 3:26[SPEAKER_05]: play off basketball, baby, fast.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, that's enough about the calves.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_05]: We got to talk about this brown schedule.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm kind of operating everything here.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to pull the schedule up here on the screen.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_05]: There we go.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_05]: Justin, when the schedule came out last night, man, like I guess we'll talk about the video and get into some specifics, but just the schedule itself.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_05]: What was your overall feeling after you looked at it?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_06]: So I always lay these out and any time we do the release, I go, you know, keeping context, it's May.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 3:55[SPEAKER_06]: We're four months out from things really getting going, but when I first saw it, I then thing that really stood out to me was like the by week and I like the second half.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_06]: I like how it lays out like a nice little home slate for us.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_06]: And on paper it looks favorable.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_06]: Now there's always teams that are going to surprise get into the playoffs.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_06]: You know, last year we had two teams that didn't make the playoffs get to the Super Bowl.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I hear a lot of people say, you know, we have the is what is it the six easiest schedule, you know, in the league this year.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_06]: That to me.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, it's the first I think is the easiest easiest overall.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, for sure.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_06]: So I always take that with just a little bit of grain of salt too, you know what I mean?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_06]: Because two years ago, Washington was supposed to be that team and, you know, they got you in Daniels.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_06]: So that turns things around very, very quickly, you know, on the trajectory of a team that won't stung a lost vagus, you know, that...
- 4:48[SPEAKER_06]: you would think, oh, last year, you know, not a very good team this year, you got curco and a first round, you know, overall, you know, with Fernando.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_06]: So, and some weapons.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_06]: So, interesting, but the the big thing for me is, back half, I love how it plays out.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_06]: If, if things line up for us as far as offensively,
- 5:10[SPEAKER_06]: could be interesting.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_05]: Could be very interesting.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_05]: It could be a C U 11 34 in the chat says we are not losing to the jets or the Titans this time.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_05]: I would hope not.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_05]: We shouldn't allow those freaking games last year and our offense was abysmal.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_05]: That was ridiculous to lose those games.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_05]: Great are we are we talking about how we how we've picked it because have you done like a a little projection on this yet or I know it's very very early I have not I yeah, you know, I don't I I try to hold off on doing that and I will everybody wants me to I'll just kind of go through and do some early projections and then we can change it as the summer going along and everything but
- 5:47[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I guess for everybody who's listening to the audio version of this after the fact, I might as well just go through it real quick.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_05]: If you haven't seen, I'm sure you have.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_05]: But week one, we open on the road down in Jacksonville against the Jaguars week two is on the road Tampa Bay, Buck and Ears.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_05]: And then week three's the home opener against the Panthers week four.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_05]: Thursday night football, the only prime time game the Brown Scott against the Steelers at home.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_05]: And then week five, it's back on the road with the Jets.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_05]: week six back home against the Ravens and then a three game road trip week seven tightens week eight Steelers week nine Saints and then we come back home against the Texans before the week 11 buy after the buy we have three straight home games it's the Raiders in week 12 the Bengals in week 13 and the Falcons in week 14 and then a couple away games the Giants in week 15
- 6:37[SPEAKER_05]: Ravens week 16, the final home game is week 17 against the Colts, and we wrap everything up just like last year on the road, in Cincinnati against the Bengals week 18.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_05]: So the kickoff to this season, I've seen some people griping that we open on the road and we close on the road.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: That does kind of suck.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_05]: You know, kind of sucks if we start with two road games and they're both in Florida.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_05]: So I would imagine we're going to go down there and we're going to stay.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see why we would go down, come back up, go back down, come back up.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_05]: I would imagine we'd go to Florida, probably stay there for the two weeks, and I've seen some people on social media talking about, we need to be talking about the heat, Florida, at that time of the year, in these football games, that's something the Browns are going to need to be prepared for.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, conditioning and all that, and not to mention like these are potentially two very decent teams.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_06]: Jacksonville just depends on what season you catch them in, you know what I mean?
- 7:30[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like they're either really good or they're really kind of not good.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, if it goes off, you know how the pattern is, they'll probably be awful this year, but on paper roster wise, that should be a good team, that should be a team that should
- 7:50[SPEAKER_06]: They always kind of seem to start hot and then you know, with last year kind of fizzled out, but something tells me that that's gonna be a tough game for the Browns, you know, I, it's gonna be a lot of, you know, chip on your shoulder, stuff going on in that game, you know, maybe some past motions might be brought back up, but you know, the way they start there down back to back in Florida, that's about as tough as it could probably go.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_06]: And even Jacksonville, like when I looked at it, Jacksonville is kind of fluky to me.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_06]: I could see us going down there and beating them.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_06]: And I also see them just wouldn't go out right on us.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_06]: Coming out hot and just we come out flat on the road.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they were so much better last year than I expected them to be.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_05]: So way better.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: If it rolls over into this year, I mean, yeah, it's, it's going to be a tough game.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_05]: I've seen some people think like, oh, Jacksonville, it's a nice way.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, that's, I'm not writing any.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_05]: definitely not right in Jacksonville, off in week one.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_05]: And Barry Schuck texted me the other night and said, you know, what do you think about the schedule?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_05]: Would you rather have, you know, it front loaded with more difficult matchups or backloaded?
- 8:54[SPEAKER_05]: And I said, well, give me the the backloaded with the more difficult matchups because by the end of the season,
- 9:01[SPEAKER_05]: those matches may look way different at the beginning of the seasons when everybody's at their healthiest typically right so think about like the chiefs last year if you if you had the chiefs on your schedule in week 15 ahead of the season you're going oh man we got to play the chiefs late in the season by the time you got to week 15
- 9:17[SPEAKER_05]: they weren't winning any games they were an easy win.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_05]: So things changed really fast in the NFL.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_05]: The early part of the seasons were it's the most difficult because everybody should be the healthiest.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it was Ken Carman today on X. I saw him.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_05]: He said something about the buck and years game that that's not a sexy game because Baker's already played the brown since he's been gone like that.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_05]: This isn't a big deal.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like,
- 9:38[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think Baker may feel it ever loses a chip on his shoulder like it'll still be personal and he's going to come Ready to kick the crap out of the browns in week two.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_05]: You can bet on it
- 9:50[SPEAKER_06]: I did see uh... somebody put the baker bros uh... revenge tour uh... uh... headline out you got week two against you know the browns but uh... to against kevin syphansky and then uh... the rams at the end of the year and my like oh yeah and caroline also play the players twenty yeah so it's just like man yep uh... yep this is a true revenge tour but i just agree with that i i really do i think that that's one that as soon as they announced upon and see probably had that one circled like get away
- 10:20[SPEAKER_06]: And for the rest of his career, probably, he sees the Browns coming to town or he gets to go to Cleveland.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_06]: That one's a circle.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_06]: For sure.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no doubt about it.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_05]: So every single game this year is one o'clock.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_05]: So we have all one o'clock games makes it easy for us to do the podcast schedule.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_05]: We know for the Thursday night except for the Thursday night except for the Thursday night.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_05]: One prime time game, there's a night in Cleveland week four, so it's early in the season against the Steelers.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_05]: I love that because they haven't beat us in Cleveland since 2021.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do it.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_06]: And the environment, there's in a football in Cleveland, night game, environment is always peak.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't matter how crappy the team is or how bad we look that place will be rocking.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_06]: That's one.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_06]: I looked at this guy as I said, yep, that's absolutely happy to be at me and my wife, actually talking about doing a traveling tour this year, like trying to do Kevin, Kenny Mac type stuff.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_06]: Either go to Tampa Bay or go to Nashville for a game.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we're going to have to get up to Cleveland for a Thursday night and enjoy it.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_06]: That's when they, they knock the lights out in the stadium and everything absolutely peak.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I've never been to a Browns game for a night game.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think that would be really cool.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_06]: Electric, bro.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_06]: Electric, environment, very rowdy.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_06]: You can feel that through the broadcast for sure.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: Like, when they're doing the pre game stuff and the game kicks off, it's like, man, this just feels
- 11:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Halloween a few years ago against the Steelers was like one of the most epic games I've been to and then in 23 the jet's game for us to clinch yikes a lot of a lot of great stories involved with that night with dog pack and just friends in general that went up to Cleveland for that one, but what an absolutely memorable or not memorable evening for Brown's football.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_05]: It was much you drank wonderful.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_05]: Correct.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, sir.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_05]: So sticking with the Steelers, then, I like the fact that when we go on the road, so it's about the middle part of the season here, if you guys were looking at the schedule on the screen, we got a three game stretch where we're on the road.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_05]: So it's Titans Steelers Saints, but the Steelers are smack dab in the middle of that, and that's not a super far travel for the Browns to go over to Pittsburgh, and they're coming back from France.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_05]: So they play the Paris game the week before that.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_05]: So we get them coming off the Paris game, the international travel.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_05]: I like that.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_05]: I think that helps us.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_05]: I like the fact that the entire AFC North got paid for an national gains that we did not.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, I don't know how you feel.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_06]: And I know we're in May.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_06]: Pittsburgh's giving me a weird vibe this year.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_06]: They've seen, I was just talking with a couple of guys even Brad money maker and I said, man, they're not Pittsburgh like at least for a couple of seasons now.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, it's always been for the last year or four, hey, we're trying to figure out who's the quarterback now.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_06]: Mason Rudolph or, you know, duckages or Aaron Rogers at peak 43 or however old he is, can he pick it?
- 13:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but um, they're just I just am not a big big believer on them
- 13:42[SPEAKER_06]: challenging anybody in the North really and I know we're we're not in a position to talk shit on any football team right now as far as you know what we've been going through the last couple years but just not a very Pittsburgh like environment you see rumors about hey they're ready to move on from TJ watt.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_06]: It's almost feels like that window finally is going to close and that's been like a 20-year window that we've endured of them just being at least consistently good
- 14:07[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I think they're head coach leaving last year, big part of that huge part of that.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see because same thing with the ravens and the Brown.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you got three of the teams in the division with new coaching staffs.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_05]: Like you said Pittsburgh, the quarterback, they don't have no idea who their quarterback is.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_05]: Aaron Rogers was supposed to meet with them last weekend.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_05]: Then he was what he was in Pittsburgh, but didn't go to the facility or something.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_05]: I.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_06]: air Roger stuff.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's yeah, we wouldn't be an office without it.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he must have found a cave and did some, you know, hallucigenic stuff or I who knows.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what they do.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I don't know what Pittsburgh, you know, uh, micro dosing scenes like, but who knows?
- 14:45[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sure it's great.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_06]: True.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_06]: It's dope.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_05]: Man, it's wild stuff.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: But you're right.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_05]: And honestly, it's not really, I wouldn't call it talking crap.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, about the Steelers is just, it's not like them calling it like it is.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, yeah.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_05]: we can't sit here and say they're a powerhouse right now because they're not and it's you're right it's it's not like them.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see what else on this schedule here.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_05]: Oh well then we get a I love that we get four weeks in a row at home.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_05]: Probably five because right in there's the by week so that is a stretch of the season where as long as things are clicking we need to win some games there.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_05]: You know Texans by week raiders right out of the by
- 15:26[SPEAKER_06]: I don't we should dominate them and I don't know if you picked up on this too and depending on how the weather is, you know, in beautiful Cleveland, Ohio Starting week time, that's pretty much all dome teams except for Cincinnati.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_06]: You're talking about Texan.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you're right.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_06]: Dome.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_06]: Raiders dome.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_06]: Falcons dome.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_06]: I wouldn't want to go and, you know, I think it's a lot more of a toss up going to their house.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't I sure as hell wouldn't want to do be John in a dome.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_06]: You know, if not, we get a little crappy conditions out on the lake and you know, get sloppy.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_06]: I know everybody's going to say, hey, we're pro-dome, but in this situation, maybe I'm not as much pro-dome on that, but yeah, those are all teams that are going to travel to Cleveland and have to deal with outdoor elements.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_05]: Well, the thing is, I'm not like the weather.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a home-filled advantage for us, but if it can, obviously, if it slows down, the other team is going to slow us down too.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_05]: The problem is, the other team's have more talent than we do.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_05]: That's why we're trying to slow down the other team to kind of get them down to our level, because you look at like the Texans obviously C.J.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_05]: Stroud and, you know, Nico Collins and the...
- 16:30[SPEAKER_05]: the other receiving weapons they have there on offense and then with the bangles we know what their offense looks like the fountains like you were saying so if we get anything to kind of slow them down and reduce the effectiveness of their offensive skill players
- 16:45[SPEAKER_05]: that gets them on a little bit closer to a level playing field with us.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_05]: Unfortunately, but that's just kind of the truth.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_06]: I've been to Crap Games too.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_06]: I went to that Miami game last year, and I watched, you know, we us put up 31 points or whatever.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_06]: And that game, you know, off a bunch of fluky turnovers and Miami playing really bad too, but the weather was awful, that entire game.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_06]: Just, you know, to me, that stood out big time when I saw that, I said, oh, you know, all these home teams were home games for us and teams were traveling and maybe not used to,
- 17:14[SPEAKER_06]: 100% what we're dealing with.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_06]: Since an idiot is what it is, you know, that's four-hour drive, the weather still stinks.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we got to make the trip over a New Jersey twice, play the jets and the giants.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just trying to think if there's anything else on here, I really want to pull out, but I overall, the schedule's not
- 17:36[SPEAKER_05]: I don't hate it.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_05]: I don't hate it at all.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think the fact that it's the easiest strength of schedule based on last year's, when percentage is for all the opponents, which I said this the other day, but I'm also say it again, like that matters to a point, but with the NFL, there's so much turnover and parity every single season that, yes, your strength of schedule is based on what your opponents records were last year.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_05]: But that's not that those aren't the same teams you're going to face this year.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_05]: I agree.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_05]: So take it with a grain of salt.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_05]: You know, everyone, oh, we have the easiest schedule.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_05]: We should win this many games with the easiest schedule based on last year.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's the teams this year are going to be different that we're facing.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_05]: But just like we are, I mean, sure.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_05]: Think about the Browns, you know?
- 18:17[SPEAKER_05]: people might say, oh, the Browns.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's a cakewalk.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_04]: That's a win.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_05]: Now off of last year's team, we are much improved on paper, at least this year.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_05]: So maybe we're not the pushover.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_05]: I hope we're not that people might think we are.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_05]: That's fair.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_05]: 100% fair.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_05]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_05]: All right, Browns Vand, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 18:41[SPEAKER_05]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_05]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_05]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_05]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_05]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_05]: So if you think the public is wrong, like everybody's overreacting to these smoke screens in the draft or sleeping on a prospect, you can literally take the other side of the market.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_05]: And it's not just sports either, you can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_05]: It works like this, simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_05]: So if you trust your takes and instincts, and I know you guys do, go check out Calshian's see what markets are live right now.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_05]: So head over to calshie.com slash dogs, k-a-l-s-h-i-i-dot-com slash dogs, d-a-w-g-s, deposit just $20 and Calshian's gonna match you.

- 20:09[SPEAKER_05]: Again, that's brownsmerch.com to check out our browns gear powered by fanatics.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_06]: How uh, let me ask you this man because when I looked at the schedule, every there's always games that I like I look at them like who that could be a trap.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_06]: To me, that week seven game against the Titans.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_06]: I think that that's not going to be a pushover game like who was it earlier chewy said the jets and the Titans.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_06]: I don't look at the Titans week seven as a just
- 20:44[SPEAKER_06]: and progresses and they've added around him.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_06]: I could see them being very, very decent.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_06]: And then, and they're on the inkline, you know what I mean?
- 20:52[SPEAKER_06]: They're only gonna get better.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_06]: They're very young, you know, they've added pieces.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_06]: You got Carnotate, you've got Wendell Robinson.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_06]: You know, you still call it what it is, Tony Pollard.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: I watched him dice us up last year, including when, absolutely slaughter us.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_06]: So he still got juice apparently.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_06]: He showed it last year for him, but I think that's the one.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_06]: Even Carolina, like everybody said, all, you know, Carolina, week three or home opener.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_06]: That's a team that made the playoffs that year.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_06]: That's got a lot, a lot of young talent and a lot of veterans now.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like they've, they've been building on that for two, three seasons now, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_06]: They've really put in some work on that, but I don't look at that game either as like a complete just market as a W. I don't know, I, I don't either, I think.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's, it all depends on how we come out of camp and preseason.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_05]: First of all, do we come out healthy?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_05]: You know, last year, unfortunately, you guys like Martin Emerson, Terry and their killings and training camp.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, well, that, that's a big blow to the defense right there and left us a little short handed at that position.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_05]: So hopefully we get through everything relatively healthy.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_05]: And hopefully this offense takes that level up that we're expecting and hoping with Todd Monkin coming in here to replace in Kevin's defense key which that offense wasn't doing anything.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_05]: So it's it's hard for the offense to get worse because it was kind of historically bad Offences in the last two years.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_05]: I mean it can always get worse, but yeah, I see it being better.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's just how much better and
- 22:21[SPEAKER_05]: Do we just, can we not shoot ourselves in the foot?
- 22:23[SPEAKER_05]: Can we not give up to kick freaking returns to the jets and crap like that to put ourselves behind the eight ball and throw five yards, Dink and Dunk Pass is the whole damn game, like we really did to ourselves a lot last year.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_06]: I will say this if, if, if it ends up being like last year,
- 22:42[SPEAKER_06]: We've got bigger problems to worry about anyway.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_06]: We won't have to worry about, you know, like what we're how we're going to look week nine against the Saints.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to know exactly what the rest of the season looks like.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_06]: And unfortunately, it's going to be very, very depressing for Browns fans.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_06]: If you're, if you're bought in and you're, you're on the optimist side on it, and you believe that,
- 23:04[SPEAKER_06]: the quarterback, I'm going to say shit or they've put weapons and you know, actually like supplement it in with some talent going into this year, you've got to think that the team is on the rise.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_06]: I don't understand how you would ever think, oh,
- 23:20[SPEAKER_06]: That's, I'm just been so mind blown over the last eight weeks of just everything that's transpired.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_06]: I just, I feel like I've kind of lost touch with where we were at when the season ended and to this point.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_06]: But I, I'm actually super excited and you know, I think that also a team on the increase.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to go back.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_05]: You're right with it.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_05]: The season ended, we were, I mean, obviously we end on two divisional wins against, you know, divisional opponents, which was cool.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_05]: But it was just, you were kind of down because the team sucked and then it's like, we fired the coach, which we need to do and it's like, all right, now we got to do this coaching search.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: And the end of a Todd Monkin, which was not everybody's favorite choice.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_05]: If you know, when it happened, I think it was on board now.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's right at the time.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_05]: And then you kind of go through the off season and leading to the draft and it's like, man, okay, we signed some guys, but are we going to blow this draft?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_06]: And then the draft happens and everybody's here cloud nine broke drinking the pool aid drinking all of it.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, and I'm here for over our heads like here.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go and then two days after the draft Mary case like, oh, hey, by the way, to Sean Watson's going to start and I think he should.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_05]: stop.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_05]: Stop it.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_06]: That's a thing too.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_06]: It's April.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's May.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_06]: I get it, you know.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_06]: But to me, if you're talking about the success of the team, long-term, like past this year,
- 24:45[SPEAKER_06]: I don't understand what we're even talking about the Sean Watson for.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_06]: I'm left.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I just, I don't.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_05]: I don't.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_05]: Go ahead.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_05]: I agree with you.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_05]: And I was going to say it's a great segue because apparently the Brown social media team doesn't feel like it's worth.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_05]: using him at all, because they put together their video last night.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_05]: Why don't we talk about that video a little.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_05]: You know, um, so the, what, I know you said it was terrible.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_05]: So I want to get here to take on it.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just, I don't know.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_06]: They,
- 25:17[SPEAKER_06]: I think that it's just for me their social media team I look at the Cleveland Brown social media team sometime and they're very risky and they do things that I laugh very hard about and it's almost like chargers chargers nail it every year and they've done that successfully like four or five years now where I'm like wow chef kiss they nailed it like yesterday's chargers release video another absolute gem like they just get it right every time
- 25:43[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was cool, the Street Fighter thing was cool, Matt Pat's cool, but I just felt let down at the end.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_06]: Like I was just like, it was just very dis, you know, it was fine, but it wasn't risky.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_06]: It was just kind of a plain Jane kind of, hey, here's our schedule, you know, with Street Fighter.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_06]: Come on, man.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do, let's do Mortal Kombat, you know, but yeah, I mean, it was
- 26:12[SPEAKER_05]: What was the guy's name?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_05]: Cause I didn't even know that one.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_05]: So, yeah, yeah, he, he's like a YouTuber.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_05]: And from all the media, he's a YouTuber.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, yeah, I don't do a whole lot of the YouTube stuff.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_06]: His thing was like, he did different channels and it was just like, gamer theory.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_06]: Just, I think for some people, he was kind of like, you know, like, in the nerdy scene, he was a generational kind of guy like growing up, like, people look at him.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_06]: They're like, oh man, he's iconic for that generation, I guess.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_05]: Interesting.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_05]: I know we were just talking about a briefly like texting earlier and you said it wasn't good and I was like, well, I couldn't even read like on the screen.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, who's this opponent this week?
- 26:52[SPEAKER_05]: Because like the graphics role and the retro video game thing was cool.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_05]: Like I like that vibe.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_05]: but it does definitely remind me how really bad the graphics used to be and how far you've come where I'm like, who the hell are we playing this week?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_05]: I can't read this.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_06]: And don't wrong, like they threw in their little like the funny jokes and stuff like, you know, you got the jets doing the, you know, bing bong and all that.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_06]: It's like there was things in there, but I just was like, it just was very just safe and just
- 27:22[SPEAKER_06]: But sometimes in the season, I don't know who gets a hold of their social media account and starts making videos, but the 2023, whoever that was, get them a raise.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_06]: That person was killing it.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_05]: Who was it?
- 27:34[SPEAKER_05]: There was a team.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_05]: The release I forgive what it was.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_05]: And they had, they played the Patriots.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry everybody's doing a little digs with the Patriots and there was like a baking scene or something and there was a recipe on the on the table and if you pause the video and zoom in on the recipe at like list like teaspoon of this a cup of that and it says a teaspoon of Rucini juice.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_06]: Oh Yeah, I knew yesterday.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_06]: That was the one that I was like when the charger said their video was coming out.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_06]: I was like I saw a Patriots around their schedule and I was like, oh Yeah, oh
- 28:08[SPEAKER_06]: And actually they, I feel like after watching the video, they really went after the Buffalo Bells, especially Keon Coleman and so good.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_06]: And then Baltimore, you know, with the
- 28:21[SPEAKER_06]: I guess the trial, you know, physical trial or whatever that they had to back out of their trees.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's right.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_05]: I saw a very solid into back out of whatever.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_06]: It's very solid.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_06]: Just for the gamer nerds, you know, that used to do halo or even call a duty like I feel like the people identify.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_06]: I was literally watching it going Blake is losing his mind somewhere.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_06]: Blake is absolutely, this is Blake's video.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they did they always do a good job, but back to what the Browns did.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_05]: So I guess the big story line coming out of the release video for those of you who didn't see it or if you just want to hear about it.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_05]: There were in the video game.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_05]: You had five players, five characters, you could choose from, right?
- 29:04[SPEAKER_05]: You choose your fighter and it was flash.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: So you could pick Miles Garrett.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_05]: It was the warden.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_05]: You could pick Denzel Ward.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_05]: It was Q Judd, Quenchon Judd, Kins.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_05]: And then there was D-Roy, obviously, Carson Swesinger.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_05]: The fifth guy was not Mason Graham.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_05]: The number five overall pick from last year.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_05]: It was not Grant Delpit or Harold Fanon or Jerry Judy.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_05]: was not to Sean Watson who you're paying $230 million to be your quarterback that we should or Sanders S2 was the fifth character in the game and that alone made me stop and think okay that's interesting.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: But then there was that scene for the by week.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_05]: You remember that part?
- 29:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, yeah.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_05]: Where he's, what's his name, Matt Pack?
- 29:51[SPEAKER_05]: Matt Pack, yep.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_05]: Matt Pack.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_05]: Back to the arcade guy.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: The dude in the arcade puts his quarter in the game.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_05]: It comes up and says, sorry, it's the by week or something.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_05]: And he's like, oh man, and Matt Pack's like, hey, that's the by week comes around once a year.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: And the kid trying to play the game was like, well, that was my last quarter.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_05]: I want my quarter back.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_05]: Matt Pact has some of the shoulders says, sorry, Shedor is not playing today.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_05]: Shedor is off this week.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_05]: All right, right.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: And it was like, okay, so we're just assuming Shedor is the quarterback here apparently.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like, and I get it that it's the social media team's putting this together, right?
- 30:24[SPEAKER_05]: But everybody in the building saw that video before it came out.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_06]: What I'll say about this, I know we're having a QB competition, you know, there's going to be an open fair QB competition.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_06]: Just as far as just, and Josh, you'll, I think you'll agree with this as far as just optics go.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_06]: You, you've got one guy who, a generation of kids embrace, you know what I mean?
- 30:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like people love this kid.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_06]: They do characterize all of it.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_06]: I mean,
- 30:55[SPEAKER_06]: just the work ethic all the stuff that you hear is great to go into school stuff.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_06]: that all that stuff's great, you know what I mean?
- 31:02[SPEAKER_06]: So is it really that shocking that the social media team would pick that guy to make their fifth character?
- 31:08[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think so.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_06]: And I know Todd Munkins not gonna go, this bad, nothing to do with Todd Munkins or the coaching staff, or even like who they're gonna pick at quarterback.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like we have, we've got time to figure out how that's all gonna work out.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that will work out, you know, in training camp pretty obviously, but
- 31:26[SPEAKER_06]: I just, I think it would have left a really, really bad taste in people's mouth, especially Cleveland Browns fans.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_06]: If you go into it and you go, and we're in this debate right now, who's going to be the quarterback?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_06]: Is it going to be Watson?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_06]: Is it going to be should or there was no way that the Browns social media team was going to put to Sean Watson in that video.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they tore him down off of the stadium.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_06]: The banner came down.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_06]: We all saw it.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like, to me, when that happened, that was a... We're moving forward.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_06]: We took the swing in the miss.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_06]: All those things were said.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_06]: Like to me, we're past that point.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if we're trying to make a trade bait situation.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think it's even possible, but that's in my head, I'm like, hey, maybe that they're doing this guy a favor and long-term, next team or next year, whatever's going on, but I just don't think it's realistic to think that after two Achilles tears to Sean Watson,
- 32:24[SPEAKER_06]: can loudly this team after failing.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, and the thing that's frustrating, you know, is we clung onto a half of football against Baltimore or a throw against the Raiders that was, it was even a flag.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't even get to keep that friggin' play that, you know what I mean?
- 32:41[SPEAKER_06]: It really was a garbage call anyway, but that didn't even count.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_06]: And we were still like, but remember that one, you know what I mean?
- 32:48[SPEAKER_06]: I, to me as a fan, I've moved forward.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_06]: I moved forward two years ago.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_06]: when I when he went down it was unfortunate.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_06]: It sucked.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_06]: I was in the stadium.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_06]: I saw all that happen.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_06]: I watch fans boo him.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_06]: I will I will die on the hill.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_06]: I watch people cheer and boo him as he was injured.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_06]: It was messed up.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_06]: It was
- 33:09[SPEAKER_06]: Unforveevable as a fan base, but that told me everything that I needed to know as far as like what the pulse of the fan base and the team was moving forward.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yet players saying that David to Joker was saying things out loud like that.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_06]: It's just to me, we can't backtrack now and go, okay, maybe there is a chance at this.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe this can work out.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_06]: The worst case scenario is he balls out and then we're in a situation where we're talking about what do we got to pay this
- 33:37[SPEAKER_06]: We're gonna sign it.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I keep saying.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_05]: Do you want to be here?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_05]: No, hell no.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so let's see who what Chewie and the chat have people forgotten how bad Watson was last time he played.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_05]: We haven't.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, I'm shocked.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_05]: I don't get it.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_05]: And I, one of the most common arguments I get from people on social media is, you know, well, he's, he was better than Shidorah Sanders was last year, like Watson is still better than Shidorah.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_05]: And I have the graphic on my phone that I made because I pulled the stats and I,
- 34:11[SPEAKER_05]: Pasted on there to every single comment that says that and I'm like, no, it didn't.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_05]: If you think if you think should door Sanders was terrible last year, you should want absolutely nothing to do with Deshawn Watson because he was statistically factually worse with better talent.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_06]: With better talent, a better offensive line, Nick Chub, a Mari Cooper, guys.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, dudes that if Shador Sanders had on his team, he would not look like that.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_06]: And he was a rookie that we gave no opportunity as the coaching staff and ownership and all of it.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't give him a chance.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_06]: He was throwing the trash cans.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_06]: What are we talking about?
- 34:47[SPEAKER_06]: It's so crazy me and then we're going back.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_06]: Then we're back tracking.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_06]: What we talking about is silly to me.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_06]: It's crazy.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_06]: If you're interested in this team being successful
- 34:57[SPEAKER_06]: two to three years.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody in that rookie class has got to work out, and I think that it's your doorstanders.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_06]: I know I was sold on it.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_06]: I loved everything to do with it.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_06]: To me, it was disappointing last year how things went, where you saw him just get absolutely just...
- 35:15[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want to say disrespect because, you know, things did work out.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_06]: He got drafted later.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_06]: You know, he went fifth round, obviously Kevin liked doing, you know, things had to fall in place.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_06]: But by the time that shit or got to go in, we at least all flashes.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_06]: Like, let's, I, I, did we forget that we saw him make throws that we hadn't seen quarterbacks make in two years?
- 35:31[SPEAKER_06]: We're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just, we're just
- 35:36[SPEAKER_06]: We were okay with three yard dinking dunk and they was third and 15 because we couldn't stay on sides or freaking hold a block.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_06]: We had to hold everybody.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_06]: I just for once in my life for and over the last couple of years I was excited about what I was seeing and then we're just going back to the same garbage looking offence like I just I know it's a new system.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_06]: I know it's a new coach.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_06]: I knew we're going to see new things but I'm just not interested at all.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_05]: I see shout out Derek Brown here in the chat.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_05]: Deepro, what's up, man?
- 36:06[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks for tuning in to the live show.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_07]: Are we talking about?
- 36:09[SPEAKER_05]: he says if they start to Sean Watson, they deserve what they get.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_05]: I am, we agree with you.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_05]: Like they're, like you said, Jess, and there's no going back.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's, it's just so stupid.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_05]: And to think that Shador, his deaths were better last year in seven games than Watson's word.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_05]: Like you said, seven games of 2024 with a better offense, better players around him, better weapons.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_05]: And not to mention, it was like what his sixth
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: season in the NFL.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_05]: He was a six year seventh year veteran three-time pro baller got paid 230 freaking million dollars We traded three first round picks to get this guy and Shador was better.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_06]: I The crazy thing to me is I tell people this all the time.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_06]: I've never seen
- 36:52[SPEAKER_06]: of regression like that before.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_06]: And I've never seen him.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_06]: I remember telling people, holy crap, this is the best quarterback that we've ever had in my entire life, especially since they came back in 99.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_06]: I can't tell you how over the moon I was about getting to Sean Watson on the scene.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_06]: We won't.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_06]: I remember just being absolutely like holy crap, wheels up, this is gonna be a dynasty for, I remember thinking for 10 years, we had a shot at being in it every year.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_06]: And I mean, do you see how that works out?
- 37:20[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that's why it's,
- 37:23[SPEAKER_06]: for as a fan base, it's tough to even hear that.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_06]: We're like, we're accepting that we're just going to go back to that again.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_06]: When we would watch all the, the all 22 and there'd be receivers everywhere open, we were like, is it the offense?
- 37:35[SPEAKER_06]: Is it what's going on?
- 37:36[SPEAKER_06]: Everybody's open, but we're just running into sacks or we're just running out of bounds or we just, I just, or just throwing it in the dirt?
- 37:44[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_05]: Week one.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_05]: Dallas Cowboys 24.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_05]: We're there stadium.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_05]: We're watching the game and we're watching a Marry Cooper Jerry jute or David joku.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_05]: Head roll open.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_05]: We're like, oh yeah, throw it.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_05]: What are you looking at?
- 37:58[SPEAKER_05]: And he's getting sacked and he's running away and throwing the ball.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_05]: My over guys heads out of bounds.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_05]: It's like,
- 38:03[SPEAKER_05]: What's happening here?
- 38:04[SPEAKER_06]: I remember looking at you and being like Mike isn't even close to him.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_06]: What do we what do we nervous about what do we?
- 38:11[SPEAKER_06]: Is it still rust?
- 38:13[SPEAKER_06]: I'm that's that's what I was just like God damn it.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, why are we doing like you know Deepro says Watson the ton of it was off script and broken plays.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_05]: I'm guessing from tech from the Houston But he said Sanders over him 10 out of 10 too
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: great.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_06]: And hey, shout out to you.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_06]: I watched you a lot of my life, man.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_06]: You're you're pretty sweet on the fantasy life.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_06]: So that's a cool moment there.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_05]: Very cool moment.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_05]: I listen deeper over chance I get because I respect his breakdowns on these rookies and his prospects every year and all that stuff.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_05]: So that's where I get a lot of my information and
- 38:48[SPEAKER_05]: insight on these players.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_05]: So that's awesome.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_05]: Really cool to have him here watching the show with us, but I'm glad he's seeing it the way we're seeing it because sometimes on social media especially Browns Twitter right now, like there are people that if you remember Justin, we got brutally attacked.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_05]: online for supporting to Sean Watson and positive we posted about him back when he got here 22 23 24 yeah it was rough man like yeah just being like hey that's our quarterback I mean we need to just have faith and hope that it works out and now we're getting brutally attacked online for again not for what and that's just I think it speaks to house
- 39:28[SPEAKER_05]: Strongly certain people just hate shit or for whatever reason and I don't get it.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_05]: I saw so many moments from that kid last year like you said, fifth round rookie, very minimal preparation.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_05]: no attention or anything like paid to him throughout the course of the office, you know, the preseason all that stuff.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_05]: He came in and shown.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_06]: Do you remember the preseason game against Carolina immediately was like, there was two or three throws right out of the bat where we were like, oh my god, there it is.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_06]: Holy crap.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, like, I'm going to throw, this is a crazy name.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_06]: I remember watching a guy throw and being like
- 40:11[SPEAKER_06]: I remember thinking watching that those first couple throws from Chador, and I know it's not a fair comp, but I remember thinking like that's a nice NFL throw, holy crap, nice anticipation, nice touch, location, accuracy, excellent.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_04]: And then accuracy.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_06]: And then it just,
- 40:26[SPEAKER_06]: By the time that he got the opportunity to find him come in, and then we had bone head, bone head decisions.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_06]: The tendency game is one of the most fun games that we got to watch from him all season, and we're going for two when we don't have to.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_06]: Then we're running, we're pulling him out of the game to run Quinshawn Wildcat Reverse, like to this day, none of that makes any sense what we're trying to do.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_06]: So,
- 40:49[SPEAKER_06]: Part of me is just excited to kind of just move forward from the Kevin Safanci kind of days or you know what I mean cuz like I'm just like what's a fresh look Look like with this team like cuz I I wasn't a fan of the monk and hiring at all I will be on record when they did that.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, oh man, and then I got to hear that guy talk a little bit I bought me in man.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_06]: It didn't take long a couple weeks and I was like, yeah I think I I think I'm kind of bottom with what this guy's talking about he might be right up our alley You know what I mean and he has been he's been just
- 41:19[SPEAKER_06]: straight up it is what it is you know if it's a dumb question he tells you it's a dumb question if it's you know something that's in any of your business he tells you what it is you know and it's a refreshing approach you know it's not the coach speak that we've been used to so I'm just kind of looking for and I'm hoping that it brings new opportunities for a lot of these younger guys

- 43:29[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, absolutely.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_05]: And I, Debro keeps leaving comments in here.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_05]: I'm pulling these out because I think it's really important to point out that it's not just Browns fans and people inside of this little niche fan base here that think these things.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_05]: This is an outside more of a national perspective and he's telling us right here in the chat.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_05]: Stephansky did nothing to help Shidorah Sanders.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_05]: The longer we get into Stephansky as a head coach, he's building a good case that he has overrated at this point.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_05]: That's how we felt.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_05]: You know, the last few years, it's like, this offense was supposed to be, he's supposed to be like an offensive guru and that never transpired.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_05]: We were never really like a top 10 offense, maybe we were top 15, 16 here and there in a couple categories and then the last three seasons have been.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, but like there's nothing special here and I thought like we kind of justified it too because we're getting a lot out of guys that we weren't expecting to get really anything out of We were seeing Jacobi Reset kind of playing nice and you know, we're seeing You know PJ Walker coming in spot wins, you know, and obviously the defense was huge and flacco and you know guys like that But there was moments where like okay, you know like hey
- 44:33[SPEAKER_06]: even Baker, you know, there was up and down, but there was all moments where we're like, hey, we're getting a lot out of it, but then like you said, it's, you know, and I think the message just got old.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_06]: I think the message in the locker room got super old.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_06]: You had your star players basically just rolling over on the coaching staff.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that is what it is.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, people here in the, I, I see your guys comments in the chat and you're, you're absolutely right.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_05]: I agree with everybody who said do do we not think that should or Sanders could improve from your one to year two.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_05]: Don't guys typically get better.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_05]: You know, after being a rookie getting some experience in the moving into year two with more preparation, understanding development, all that kind of stuff.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_05]: They do.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_06]: I always hear, yeah, Shador was really, really bad last year.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, yeah, look at the team around him.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_06]: Like straight up, and that's not it.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_06]: I loved the Browns by the end of the season.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_06]: It was awful.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_06]: It was a turn style and offensive line.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_06]: The offensive line was a disaster.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_06]: It was a joke.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_06]: And that was guys that we love.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we're talking about why it's hell or in Joel and, you know,
- 45:35[SPEAKER_06]: And we're not even sure, to me, I have serious concerns even rolling into this year about chemistry and how this is all going to work together.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_06]: And, you know, I love Fano, but like, we're not sure, we're really not sure about anything that we're getting heading into this year.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_06]: But...
- 45:51[SPEAKER_06]: it was bad.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_06]: We were literally counting on Isaiah Bond, who came in, past training camp, had no, you know, past installations and stuff like that.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_06]: It was just so dysfunctional all year.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_06]: And we're not expecting it to improve at all.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_06]: And everything else, it feels like we put weapons around him.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_06]: We put two serious great weapons.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_06]: Like, oh my gosh.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_06]: two circle guys where we go hey if you if you came away from the draft with kc or then you know then's all bossed on your team you're going that's a win that's a win for my organization we got both of those guys that's unreal I still can't believe we got both of those dudes yeah and you're throwing it back you know quinceon judge against a more improved hopefully a more aggressive line where we can actually you know win at the line I can't tell you how many times I just watch our running backs get stuffed at the line I'd be to this down
- 46:41[SPEAKER_06]: I know Jerome Ford was pretty bad, but I'm like, was it the line?
- 46:44[SPEAKER_06]: Was it, I, I, I question his vision and stuff like that, but you know what I mean?
- 46:48[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see he's going to Washington.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_06]: We'll see you in a while.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_05]: I can tell you how bad it was though for our guys last year, because the stat was Quinshawn Judkins 1.4 yards before contact per attempt.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_05]: That was the lowest in the entire league.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_05]: Actually, second lowest.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_05]: The only guy who had a lower yards before contact per attempt was Dylan Samson.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that sucks.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_05]: It sounds running backs are getting smashed.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_05]: immediately upon getting the ball handed to them last year.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_05]: So it really, like I said earlier, I know, I hate to say it can never get worse.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_05]: It shouldn't get any worse.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_05]: It's hard to get worse than what it was last year.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I know this kind of turned into the,
- 47:25[SPEAKER_05]: Shoulder Sanders stretch here or the show?
- 47:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think so.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_05]: No, I mean, I'm doing it too.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_05]: It's just that's the topic right now.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_05]: But if you think about the game that he first came into the ravens and he looked terrible, you know, he was getting beat up.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_05]: He wasn't ready.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously, that's not his whole.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_05]: And he was getting sacked and thrown interceptions.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_05]: We were a nice end zone pass away from tying that game.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_05]: Who was he throwing that past to?
- 47:52[SPEAKER_05]: Gage Larvedan, a practice squad UDFA player.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_06]: We're talking about the same game where they had to teach him his cadence because they didn't know it, yet heading into the game.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_06]: That's crazy.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_06]: That's crazy.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_05]: That's crazy.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_05]: Quarterbacks cadence.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_05]: When I heard that, I was like, what?
- 48:10[SPEAKER_05]: And it was why I tell her, I said that's why I believe him.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_05]: I'm thinking, yeah.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_06]: I knew what he meant to say that.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_06]: He wants all the smoke out there.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_06]: He wants everything to be known.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_06]: I think so.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_04]: Shout out.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_06]: Shout out.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_06]: I tell her.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_06]: I love it.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_06]: I tell her, but hey, good luck, man.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_06]: Good luck in Houston.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think we kind of nailed this short thing, but it sounds like at least everybody here in the chat seems to be more on our side.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_05]: And for me, it's not, you know, I see people say like, oh, you're just a, you know, should door Sanders lover and all of a sudden like this.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_05]: I want the best quarterback to play for my team, to give us the best chance to win.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_05]: And I have no idea how anybody in the right mind can think that's to Sean Watson.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_06]: At this point, it's completely great.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_06]: For the future of the team, I don't understand it doesn't make sense, but just doesn't.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_06]: Finally, actually, it's just last year.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_06]: Nothing, yeah, regardless, it's, yeah, this is it.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_06]: The worst thing that could happen is we start him and he balls out.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_06]: And I would be shocked by, I would be absolutely shocked by that.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: If we could have designated him as a post-June first one cut in March this year, we would have.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_05]: So we're talking about a quarterback battle where one of the guys is a player that this team would definitely have already cut and moved on from if they could.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_05]: Financially, they are strapped and cannot do it.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_05]: So that's to me, that's crazy.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: But.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: And then, well, did you see the thing, I want to ask you, did you see the thing Tony Gross he said to, about whoever wins the quarterback battle, like if Deshawn Watson is the starter then Shador should be QB3 and they should let Dylan be the backup.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I didn't see that, but I also saw Tony Grossy said Kevin Safanci's really going to have a chip on his shoulder this year and I'm like, oh, you mean like getting fired doesn't make you, so you weren't just going to give your best performance anyway, like as far as a coach, not your really like engaged and ready to go because you got fired.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, cool.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_06]: Sounds good.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_06]: Sounds like we made the right call.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_06]: Let's move forward.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_05]: I think Kevin said, Kevin probably said, well, that chip's going to be on me.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we just need to coach better.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to do better.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to do better.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to be back to working.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to fix.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to never have got her fix there, Kevin.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_05]: We got a couple of boys and I was a play.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_05]: First one.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_05]: This one's from Josh.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, guys.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: Josh here from Columbus.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you said something to down the show.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Love the show.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: Listen to it every week.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that you said it feels good to feel good and I just really appreciate it So I wanted to call in leave my first voice mail Tell you guys that don't know why I'm a brown family at the time I got to listen everyone give me crap at work and be like and tell them say that Oh, how could you watch that team and I don't know why but we might not win games But it feels like we won the draft and I wanted to tell you that I heard it today and yeah
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna feel good for a little bit.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_00]: All right, go Browns.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_06]: It's a badge honor.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_06]: It's a badge honor to be a Cleveland sports fan.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's super frustrating.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_06]: It's heartbreaking.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_06]: Depending on how old you are, it can be even more equally frustrating and heartbreaking going back, you know, even farther.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like if you're a Northeast Ohio, you know, for the most part, and you're born and raised in Ohio, like it's very easy to fall in love with, you know, the history and the legacy.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_06]: the grit of what it is to be a Cleveland sports fan, whether you're, you know, whether you grew up on the Indians, we grew up on the browns of the calves.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_06]: It's, it's like a badge honor, you know, you just wear it and it is what it is, you know, like, I, I, to this day, I laughed because I'm 20 years ago, I was like, there's no way we can still suck this bat in 20 years.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_06]: I have kids and stuff now that I'm trying to sell this team to, you know, and,
- 51:53[SPEAKER_06]: nephews and I'm like, hey, no, you know, it's, it's, it's awesome.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_06]: Cleveland sports.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_06]: Let's go.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_06]: Hashtag let them know.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's awesome being a, this is what I love about sports and fandom just as a quick aside here because you can be from anywhere.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, whatever you're upbringing was where you went to school, who you hung out with for what did for whether you played sports or didn't or whatever.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_05]: Doesn't, like it doesn't matter if you're a fan.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_05]: of the Browns, like you said Cleveland sports Indians or guardians and they can't all this stuff like none of that other stuff matter you have something that you can relate to people with.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_05]: And it's a it's a deeper nation too because they've got the scars.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_05]: You've got the scars and you can go back and reminisce about moments in this game or that season, this team, whatever, this player, it's
- 52:37[SPEAKER_05]: it's really special.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_05]: So that's, I know a lot of times people say it's just sports, sports to stupid sports.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_05]: If it was stupid and it wasn't special, it wouldn't be what it is.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_05]: So I agree.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just absolutely.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_05]: Leave it to that.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_05]: But Josh was saying, first of all, thanks for your first ever voicemail.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: Send some more and we love hearing from you guys.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I feel good who was somebody left a voicemail the other day.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: Might have been Jersey Justin, who's our next voicemail here.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_05]: But he said, you know, after the draft, it just feels good to feel good.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I'm just going to enjoy it as a, as a Cleveland fan, we don't get this all the time.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_05]: So let's just feel good.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_05]: We, everybody says we won the draft.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_06]: Let's just.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_06]: We'll take it.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_06]: We'll take it.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_05]: And I will say, like, on paper, I do not do better than that.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_06]: I tell people all the time, every time somebody asks me about it, whether it's work, you know, life, they go, hey, you know, what do you think about the draft like really, really think about it?
- 53:27[SPEAKER_06]: Did you love all the picks and I go honestly those first four picks after that the way you can finish that first four and you come away with that amount of talent and that loaded and address that many needs.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, everything else is just icing on the cake.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_06]: That was an absolute steal for for like for first four picks.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_06]: We're basically you can make the argument all easily top 30 talent.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_06]: Easily could all all top 20 talent depending on where you have in place.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_06]: And we landed all of them.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_06]: Swild, just a little bit.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_05]: All right, and then the second voicemail.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_05]: This is from just to everybody.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_03]: You're from the Browns fan out here in New Jersey.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_03]: Just want to chime in on the tail and green stuff.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_03]: You know, there's been talk about how we stole the ball.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_03]: Good.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_03]: And that's all good and great, but everyone needs to hold that.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_03]: Remember this isn't game speed, okay?
- 54:19[SPEAKER_03]: We know his stats are a game speed.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_03]: Secondly, there's also talk about using him as like a taste and hill in the NFL.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to tell you right now, someone that used to play football.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_03]: At his height, six, six, what do you six, seven?
- 54:32[SPEAKER_03]: he's going to be target practice for any lineback or blitzing safety at that height.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's like he's running with a target on his back.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_03]: There will be so many hits for losses in the back field if we try to do that, so you can't do that.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm honestly just curious about where their plan is to really use him.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_03]: I know Josh, you talked about wider silver.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_03]: I'm starting to think that has to be it.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: Because I'm also not pulling Shidorah off to put him in and red zone or goal line because part of the reason I think Shidorah is so good is he knows how to get in that end zone when we get into that hard part of the field, right?
- 55:03[SPEAKER_03]: Which a lot of quarterback struggle with part of the reason I think he is going to beat and I felt quarterback at the starting position and for us.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: So I just wanted to put that out there like his height, you're just, you're not going to be able to run him, okay?
- 55:15[SPEAKER_03]: And I wouldn't push Shidorah out in any way shape or form.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I really don't know where they're planning on using him.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, go Browns.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_06]: So do you look at him like as a twirl prior kind of compile?
- 55:28[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, what's that work fantastic for the Browns during that period?
- 55:32[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, to bring that guy, the crazy thing is he was drafted by the Raiders and then ended up in Cleveland as basically what I received or but that he was our guy for I think two seasons at least the second year he won over a thousand yards.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I went crazy.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_06]: So I
- 55:49[SPEAKER_06]: to me when they took that pick just from what I knew about him just from very limited from watching you know college stuff and like that I was like well maybe this is like a very down the road project like this is a serious just
- 56:03[SPEAKER_06]: we're gonna let this guy just sit back for years and you know, and develop and learn and you know, maybe at some point he's able to get to a point where he's, I don't even wanna say like little marks.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_06]: I don't even look at it like that, but you know what I mean?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you gotta freak athlete guy with crazy attributes, but to me, you know where near ready to be and NFL quarterback at all.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_05]: Now I was listening to a podcast a couple of months ago and they were breaking down guys like after the senior bowl and some things like that and of course Taylor Green was one of those players because he was at the senior bowl and I really liked I forget who it was now otherwise I'd shout him out but they were saying Taylor Green is the guy that an NFL team drafts him and what that team needs to do is say you got two years.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_05]: We'll give you the first two years of your rookie contract, work at your craft, try to develop as a quarterback.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_05]: And if we don't have the progress we need to see after two seasons, you're moving to wider receiver.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_05]: Because I just, it's a six round pick with terrible accuracy numbers in college and high turnover rate.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_05]: Like that doesn't not ever work.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_05]: So I felt could he defy the odds?
- 57:12[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, sure, would you bet on it for Cleveland?
- 57:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, there it is, brother.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_06]: That's what I'm at.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, you know, we're still trying to figure this quarterback thing out.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_06]: We're still trying to figure this quarterback thing out since 1999 still trying to figure this thing out.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_06]: So.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_06]: That's the, that was my worry too, is that's just like the last thing I need is just a whole bunch of, we're not sure who we're going to be having taking reps at quarterback again.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_06]: That was the big fear for me.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_06]: I think that that was a more of a last year problem than anything else.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_06]: I hope so.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_05]: And then before we get to our little fantasy thing here to wrap it up, I did want to shout out a manual.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_05]: Johnson gave us a super chat.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you very much.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_05]: This is back to that Ravens game talking about when Shador first came in last year.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_05]: He says people say that he had Jerry Judy open.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_05]: but we don't know if Jerry would have dropped or fumbles the ball.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_05]: Shake my head.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_05]: We saw quite a few of that.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_05]: Those things happened with Jerry Judy last year, which is why we had to get some new receivers in here.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_05]: And I still see people like in the Cleveland media saying, well, Jerry Judy is still wide receiver one.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, okay, you can list him there.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_05]: If you want to, don't be stupid, guys.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_05]: He's not wide receiver.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_05]: He's never been a wide receiver one.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_05]: He can't be.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't even perform very well when he's a wide receiver
- 58:33[SPEAKER_05]: It is what it is.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_05]: After, you know, we talk about like, can should or standard develop from an improved from year one to year two.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_05]: He's a rookie.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_05]: That typically happens.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_05]: Once you get to like year five six.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_05]: And you've kind of been consistently who you are throughout that whole rookie contract and into your second contract at that point.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_05]: It's.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_05]: it's a stretch to expect any sort of big improvement from a player, sure.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_05]: That's there.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_05]: So we are going to do this fantasy draft randomizer.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_05]: So really how it works for anybody who didn't catch the clip the other day.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_05]: me and Justin will each have a team.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to pick a quarterback or running back two wide receivers, a tight end and a defense.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to hit the randomizer on my screen.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_05]: I will tell Justin what team comes up.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_05]: He gets to pick one player from that team at any of the positions.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_05]: Now, once he takes a running back, he cannot take another running back.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_05]: And if the same team that he's already picked from pops up again, we'll just regenerate because you don't want to, we're not going to double up teams.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_06]: How many running nights do I need?
- 59:31[SPEAKER_06]: One?
- 59:31[SPEAKER_05]: One.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_05]: We cannot duplicate players.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_05]: So if you get the 49ers and take CMC, and then I get the 49ers, I cannot take CMC.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_05]: He's off.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_05]: He's off my board.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_05]: So, cool.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_05]: You ready to get or started?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, to let me know if I, you know, take somebody you are to take and all that good stuff.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_05]: I will.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to get it.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_05]: So your first pick is going to come from the Patriots.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_06]: Ooh, Patriots, mmm, give me Drake May.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_05]: I figured.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_06]: Give me Drake May.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_05]: All right, so Justin goes Drake May.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_05]: My first pick is coming from the Saints.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_05]: So I am going to take, I'm gonna take Chris Olobe.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_05]: That's fine, yeah, I like one of my water sea response.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_05]: All right, let's see, you're next.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_05]: Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, give me bucky Irving.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_06]: Going with bucky, who still hasn't been clear for football activity, okay?
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_06]: Don't worry, he's gonna be fine.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_06]: I'm very bad at him, I'm bucky.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_06]: Don't worry about him.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_06]: He's gonna be good.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_05]: I got the jag wires.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_05]: I'm gonna go ahead and just take Trevor Lawrence here
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_05]: I'm hoping for some better skill positions as we go through this year on the board or on the clock now with the cults You've got Drake main bucky Irving, so you need two receivers tight end and defense Give me Tyler Warren.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_05]: I think you're sure.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, sir.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, sir That's what I would done too.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_05]: Oh Yeah, I'm up.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_05]: I got the Eagles.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm gonna take Sake one.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like that's a strong running back choice All right, you've got to see hox
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_06]: Give me the defense.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yes.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yes, son.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_04]: Very smooth.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_04]: Very good.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_06]: I could have went, you know, somebody else.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_06]: But we'll see if you forget that guy.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_05]: I guess, you know, I got the bills.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, shoot.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_05]: I wish I hadn't taken Trevor Lawrence now, because I would love to take me some Josh Allen.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_06]: How about the uncool man, man?
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and Coleman's.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let's do some key on.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_05]: I think I'll do Dalton Kincaid.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, not thrilled about how to say that man.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, this is not going great.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_05]: You're up with the Titans.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_05]: You need I've got to get both of your receivers Give me crying.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_06]: I'll take you.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_06]: That's my wide receiver too Maybe we'll see you.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_05]: I might as a Saints just came up for me again.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_05]: I can't do that.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_05]: Dolphins.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, geez.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, man.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_06]: They're low to a talent.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_06]: They cut me
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_06]: You already took a running back to you.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, bro.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_06]: What do you got?
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_06]: Who do they have for receivers right now?
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_06]: You want me to help you?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_05]: I got you.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_05]: No, I mean, okay.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_05]: What is it?
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_05]: I'm the kid from Dallas is there now.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, man.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_04]: Screw that.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_05]: I would just take the Miami Dolphins defense.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_05]: My mind.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_05]: So, wow.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_04]: You're last for so tough.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_05]: Your last receiver has to come from the Falcons.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, man.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_05]: You.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, this is Bullcraft.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_05]: How about Drake?
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_05]: London, this is a bunch of crap, all right.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_05]: My last receiver comes from the freaking raiders.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, bro.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_06]: What you got, man?
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_04]: I, I don't know, Jack Bash, I guess.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, dang, bro.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_06]: Do they have any other receivers?
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, they still have, um, Turner, or no, trade Tucker.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_06]: They got trade Tucker.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_06]: And, uh, yeah, wow.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_06]: I could be forgetting somebody.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_06]: They definitely traded, uh, what's his name?
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_04]: I can't think of mine.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's going to be mine.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_06]: He's in Jacksonville.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_04]: So, uh, all right.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_05]: Well, this team, bro.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_05]: I want to redo.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_05]: So Justin ends up with Drake, May, Bucky, Irving, Cardinal, Tate, Drake, London, Tyler Warren and the Seattle Seahawks defense.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_06]: That's what you call one hell of a deal there.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_06]: One hell of a team.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_05]: You got championship, perfect timing, bro.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_05]: You got luck.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_05]: I did not get luck.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_05]: I got Trevor Lawrence.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_05]: Say Juan Barclay, Chris O'Lave.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_05]: Jack, Bash, Colton, Dalton, Kincaid, in the Miami Dolphins defense.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_06]: That team sucks, bro.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_05]: That's a case of getting unlucky and a little bit of you chose poorly.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_06]: I saw your first round and I was like, hey, that's going to be tough to compete again.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_06]: So I appreciate you just absolutely shit in the bed on that one.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_06]: So awesome and great till we get Blake and on that Blake is going to be really good at this game.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_06]: He knows.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Blake.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't keep up on the fantasy stuff.
