Today we'll add another hobby: 'kuandika' — writing. Luna: Oh, I love writing. So 'Ninaandika' means 'I write'? Lucas: Exactly. 'Ninaandika'. Let's say it together. 'Ninaandika'. Luna: Ninaandika. Lucas: Perfect. And you already know 'Ninasoma' — I read. Luna: Ninasoma. So if I want to say 'I read and write', that's 'Ninasoma na kuandika'? Lucas: Close. 'Ninasoma na ninaandika'. The 'na' means 'and'. Luna: Ninasoma na ninaandika. That's a mouthful, but I like it. Lucas: You'll get it. Now, let's bring back a question from last time: 'Unapenda kufanya nini?' — What do you like to do? Luna: Unapenda kufanya nini? That's a long one. But I remember the answer: 'Napenda kusoma' — I like to read. Lucas: Yes! And now you can say 'Napenda kuandika' — I like to write. Luna: Napenda kuandika. So if someone asks me, I can say 'Napenda kusoma na kuandika'. Lucas: Exactly. Let's practice a little dialogue. I'll ask you: 'Unapenda kufanya nini?' Luna: Napenda kusoma na kuandika. Lucas: Great! Now you try it, listener. Imagine I ask you: 'Unapenda kufanya nini?' Luna: You can say 'Napenda kusoma' or 'Napenda kuandika' or both. Lucas: And if you want to say 'I don't like' — that's 'Sipendi'. But we'll save that for another day. Luna: Sipendi. Good to know. So today we learned 'Ninaandika', 'Napenda kuandika', and we reviewed 'Ninasoma' and 'Napenda kusoma'. Lucas: Right.
