- 1:40Speaker 2: have something that I wanted to read and this is
- 1:42Speaker 2: I think this is really gonna hit the gen xers, okay,
- 1:45Speaker 2: because it was a post all about like the nineties
- 1:48Speaker 2: and what and it was like all the showing like
- 1:50Speaker 2: all these different clips from different things, TV shows, events,
- 1:53Speaker 2: news events. It was like, if you as a gen xer,
- 1:57Speaker 2: if your life kind of flashed before your eyes, this
- 1:59Speaker 2: is the kind of stuff you'd see. And it was like,
- 2:02Speaker 2: oh man, it really made you miss the nineties. And
- 2:06Speaker 2: a lot of people say that the nineties were like
- 2:08Speaker 2: the last great generation. And there was this one comment
- 2:12Speaker 2: on the Instagram post. In fact, I'll repost the Instagram
- 2:17Speaker 2: thing that I'm reading off of here, but so you
- 2:19Speaker 2: can see all those video clips and stuff. It says
- 2:22Speaker 2: they'll say every generation thinks this, But that's just that
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's just a nostalgia talking. But the truth is the
- 2:28Speaker 2: nineties for the last decade that didn't scream at us.
- 2:31Speaker 2: No notifications clawing at our attention, no algorithm deciding who
- 2:35Speaker 2: we were supposed to be, No endless scroll convincing us
- 2:38Speaker 2: that we were behind, lacking, failing. Life had pauses built
- 2:42Speaker 2: into it. We waited, we wondered, We got bored, and
- 2:45Speaker 2: boredom made us creative, not anxious. We rode bikes until
- 2:49Speaker 2: the street lights came on. We knocked on doors instead
- 2:52Speaker 2: of sending texts. We memorized phone numbers and burned CDs
- 2:56Speaker 2: reround We rewound tapes easy for me to say, and
- 3:00Speaker 2: learned patience because patience was unavoidable, and somehow that made
- 3:05Speaker 2: everything feel earned. Music mattered not because it went viral,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but because it felt like it belonged to us. Songs
- 3:11Speaker 2: didn't chase trends. They told the truth, even when the
- 3:14Speaker 2: truth was messy, loud, or sad. We didn't skip heartbreak,
- 3:17Speaker 2: We sat in it. Movies let moments breathe. Shows were
- 3:23Speaker 2: once a week. If you miss them, you missed them,
- 3:26Speaker 2: And instead of panicking, we talked about it at school
- 3:29Speaker 2: the next day like it was folklore. Shared experiences. They
- 3:32Speaker 2: were real, not fragmented into comment sections and reaction clips.
- 3:36Speaker 2: The nineties trusted us, trusted us to figure things out
- 3:39Speaker 2: without GPS, trusted us to fail without broadcasting it, trusted
- 3:43Speaker 2: us to grow up without turning our childhood into content.
- 3:47Speaker 2: We made mistakes privately, We healed quietly. We became ourselves
- 3:51Speaker 2: without a million strangers weighing in. And here's the part
- 3:55Speaker 2: we forgot. The nineties were far from perfect, but they
- 3:58Speaker 2: were honest. Life wasn't feel people didn't pretend everything was
- 4:01Speaker 2: okay all the time. We just had to show up,
- 4:04Speaker 2: and showing up was enough. That decade gave us something rare.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Room room to be awkward, room to be bored, room
- 4:10Speaker 2: to dream without immediately monetizing the dream. We didn't know
- 4:15Speaker 2: we were standing at the edge of something ending, the
- 4:17Speaker 2: last inhale before the world went digital, fast, loud, and relentless.
- 4:22Speaker 2: We didn't know how good we had it because the
- 4:24Speaker 2: best moments never announced themselves. They happened quietly, completely, and
- 4:29Speaker 2: then one day you look back and realize that was it.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So if you miss the nineties, you're not stuck. You're
- 4:36Speaker 2: not romanticizing. I'm like, wow, Like there was so much
- 4:39Speaker 2: about that. I'm like, well, at least, and I think
- 4:44Speaker 2: about like, you know, my kids, you know, being teenagers,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and that's when you screw up, and that's when you
- 4:49Speaker 2: do things or whatever, and like it would happen and
- 4:52Speaker 2: you would screw up. As it's not like it went viral.
- 4:55Speaker 2: If he did something stupid, it didn't live forever. No
- 5:00Speaker 2: on the internet. Potential to ruin your life exactly right,
- 5:05Speaker 2: like you know now, you know, like you were able
- 5:07Speaker 2: to screw things up, learn from it, and then never
- 5:10Speaker 2: have to speak of it or see it or anything
- 5:13Speaker 2: like that.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Again, here's the throwback for you kind of like early
- 5:16Speaker 5: two thousands where a kid did something stupid and he
- 5:19Speaker 5: said it like pretty much ruined his life. It took
- 5:21Speaker 5: him like twenty plus years to get over it. Do
- 5:24Speaker 5: you remember the Star Wars kid? Oh yeah, he was
- 5:28Speaker 5: just like yeah, he was just like no, it was
- 5:31Speaker 5: actually at school in like just studio and it was
- 5:33Speaker 5: just yeah, and he was pretending that he was like
- 5:36Speaker 5: doing like you know, all these moves and Star Wars
- 5:39Speaker 5: and the video got uploaded and he was like mortified.
- 5:42Speaker 5: He had changed schools all that kind of stuff.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So, but how would that affect you for twenty years?
- 5:47Speaker 2: That was because when you're a kid, I said, it
- 5:49Speaker 2: took him twenty years ago. Yeah, okay, person to get
- 5:52Speaker 2: over it.
- 5:52Speaker 6: Was like it is eventually, you know, just from doing
- 5:55Speaker 6: Star Wars moves.
- 5:56Speaker 7: That was the whole thing.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Yeah, pretty.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It was pretty dwarky.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, and so many TV Yeah, the kids
- 6:05Speaker 7: just being a kid and now he's got trauma for
- 6:08Speaker 7: twenty years.
- 6:08Speaker 8: Ye ye.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Anything after gen X it doesn't really speak to because
- 6:13Speaker 2: that I mean, that's that's when all the digital age
- 6:15Speaker 2: of the Internet, the social media stuff all started, and
- 6:17Speaker 2: it really was the last and a lot of generation
- 6:20Speaker 2: of just how things used to be.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Like, I agree with what you read. A lot of
- 6:23Speaker 1: that stuff is just factual. If you missed a show,
- 6:25Speaker 1: you missed a show. If you didn't tape it, you
- 6:27Speaker 1: couldn't tape it. He didn't have it anymore, and there
- 6:29Speaker 1: was no like, oh spoiler watching it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Like people just talked about it the next day, and
- 6:32Speaker 2: that was part of like the cool thing is part
- 6:33Speaker 2: of the reason that you wanted to make sure that
- 6:35Speaker 2: you watched it, because I wanted to be part of
- 6:37Speaker 2: that conversation the next day.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And the thing that I I don't want to say
- 6:42Speaker 1: disagree with but don't like and you know, I'm just
- 6:44Speaker 1: very nitpicky person. No, it says we suffered heartbreak in
- 6:48Speaker 1: private and we didn't have you know, we weren't humiliated
- 6:50Speaker 1: in front of millions. That's your own doing. If you're
- 6:53Speaker 1: at the hospital and posting about it, then that's your problem.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You can still live that way where you have private moment,
- 7:01Speaker 1: have to post every damn tape in the world.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think maybe that's is that talking about if somebody
- 7:07Speaker 2: else is videotaping you, like you're just somewhere like maybe
- 7:09Speaker 2: you're super drunk and doing something sure that you shouldn't
- 7:12Speaker 2: be doing, or you know, you're you're you're having a
- 7:15Speaker 2: bad day.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but a lot of people know just love yeah
- 7:18Speaker 1: posting everything neat. Yeah, it's your fault.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'll make sure that that's a that's on our Instagram story.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You could because all the videos and all the stuff
- 7:28Speaker 2: that they're showing from all the different things, a lot
- 7:30Speaker 2: of MTV stuff in there, obviously because that's the generation,
- 7:32Speaker 2: but a lot of different things you're like, oh my god,
- 7:34Speaker 2: I totally forgot about oh and you really do just
- 7:37Speaker 2: get it just washes over you. That whole like kind
- 7:40Speaker 2: of really cool nostalgia for.
- 7:42Speaker 6: Like nineties was cool, But Greg, you agree, maybe wouldy eighties.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Dude, But I really lived the nineties more as like
- 7:51Speaker 2: a like a like a teenager and young adult, right like,
- 7:54Speaker 2: whereas the eighties I was just like a kid kid.
- 7:58Speaker 5: But it was just like like that analog digital everything
- 8:02Speaker 5: was exciting. Access walk Man comedies were huge.
- 8:08Speaker 2: April eight seven seven forty four. Woody hit us up

- 9:26Speaker 2: The Woody Show. So people thirty years old or older,
- 9:30Speaker 2: we're asked, what's a sound from your childhood that younger
- 9:32Speaker 2: generations will never hear? And I have a couple of
- 9:35Speaker 2: these songs. We'll see how many you get, right, Morgan,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'm really curious about you have people in this room
- 9:39Speaker 2: I think will get well, yeah, I think even Samuel.
- 9:43Speaker 7: Will get Wait, these are sounds or song.
- 9:45Speaker 2: These are gonna be sounds, Okay, So I'll give you
- 9:48Speaker 2: some other ones, like the sound of a cassette rewinding
- 9:51Speaker 2: faster and faster and faster into that final thump you
- 9:54Speaker 2: know our when you go to a place and the
- 9:56Speaker 2: host says smoking or non smoking? Hold on, if you'd
- 10:01Speaker 2: like to make a call, please hang up and try again.
- 10:03Speaker 2: If you need help, hang up and dial your operator.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Morgan, you would know that cassette sound.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Yeah, I knew cassettes. I played with cassettes as a kid,
- 10:11Speaker 7: relics way.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I used to play with. You know, my grandmother had
- 10:15Speaker 2: a bunch of eight tracks, right, exactly.
- 10:16Speaker 6: What does this do?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Or you know vinyl?
- 10:19Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't know what I was doing. I was
- 10:20Speaker 7: playing with them, though.
- 10:21Speaker 2: That staticky sound from those stupid gray computer speakers, like
- 10:25Speaker 2: when a call was coming in. Oh yeah, remember that? Ye,
- 10:28Speaker 2: the sound of a quarter dropping into like an arcade game.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I love that sound, or into like a payphone.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 2: The squeak of the crank window on the car. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 2: the metal seat belt buckles, you remember that, Morgan?
- 10:44Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I had a well, not my truck. My
- 10:46Speaker 7: dad had a truck where you had to manually roll
- 10:49Speaker 7: up and down the windows.
- 10:51Speaker 2: There's still cars out there like that, guys. All right,
- 10:55Speaker 2: so let's let's see, uh Morgan. Yeah, Well we'll start
- 10:58Speaker 2: with you. I'm gonna play all five. I have five
- 11:00Speaker 2: clips here. We'll play five clips and then, uh, we'll
- 11:04Speaker 2: see how many everybody gets, right, okay, all right, so
- 11:06Speaker 2: here's here's clip number one. What is this sound? It's
- 11:10Speaker 2: the easiest one. Oh all right, so we're starting off
- 11:18Speaker 2: really easy.
- 11:19Speaker 6: All right.
- 11:19Speaker 2: That's a throwback sound number one. Number two? What is
- 11:24Speaker 2: this sound?
- 11:26Speaker 8: Oh?
- 11:26Speaker 9: I know what that is?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Can you do that again? M hmm, sorry I don't know.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You don't know that one?
- 11:37Speaker 9: Great?
- 11:39Speaker 1: What about this one? Okay? That's the pain in my existence?
- 11:51Speaker 6: Mm?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Number four? What easy?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yep?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Really easy?
- 12:03Speaker 9: M hm.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Oh oh I got it? Yes, all right?
- 12:08Speaker 1: And then the here.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I'll give you one more, number five? What does that sound?
- 12:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 12:23Speaker 2: So those are the anybody need a refresher on any
- 12:26Speaker 2: of them?
- 12:26Speaker 10: I need four again?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Number four again? All right?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Can you do two again? Sure? Thank you?
- 12:35Speaker 7: Can you do three again?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Oh sure?
- 12:38Speaker 7: Okay, just to make everyone listen to it? Can you
- 12:46Speaker 7: do one again?
- 12:47Speaker 11: One?
- 12:47Speaker 12: Oh?
- 12:48Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:55Speaker 1: All right.
- 12:55Speaker 2: So we're gonna ask you for your guesses. First, what
- 12:59Speaker 2: is this first? What does that sound?
- 13:00Speaker 9: That?
- 13:01Speaker 7: First? One's dial up Internet?
- 13:02Speaker 2: That is dial up. It's a dial up modem connecting nice.
- 13:06Speaker 7: And then when you did that, the phones didn't work
- 13:08Speaker 7: in the house.
- 13:09Speaker 6: Correct, You picked up the phone, kicked yourself off the
- 13:11Speaker 6: internet exactly.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So you're like, damn it, because it was usually everything
- 13:16Speaker 2: was very slow, you know, and then you'd be online
- 13:19Speaker 2: and all of a sudden things would be kind of
- 13:21Speaker 2: frozen up, and you're like, damn it. Calls coming in
- 13:24Speaker 2: or like if you call waiting a call come in
- 13:25Speaker 2: and I would ruin it, or somebody in the house
- 13:27Speaker 2: would pick the phone up. Yeah, damn it. You had
- 13:30Speaker 2: to reconnect, sucked.
- 13:32Speaker 1: This is when you took the physical phone and put
- 13:34Speaker 1: it on the fing No, I do remember that. That's
- 13:37Speaker 1: I mean.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Phe on top of it.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't know that.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, accorded phone landline.
- 13:46Speaker 2: No, No, this was just like the phone line plugged
- 13:48Speaker 2: into the back of the motive modem plugged into the
- 13:50Speaker 2: back of the computer.
- 13:51Speaker 10: Did you in the seventies, Yeah, right.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I was babysitting for these kids and the dad had it,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and I thought, what the hell is that? And he
- 13:57Speaker 1: showed me, you take the phone put it on top.
- 14:00Speaker 2: All right, the number two. What sound is this, Morgan?
- 14:08Speaker 7: This is a stretch? Is that like clocking in in
- 14:10Speaker 7: the old timy days when you'd have.
- 14:14Speaker 2: A time clock. That's a that's a good guess.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I think I finally got it.
- 14:20Speaker 4: What is it? Is it?
- 14:20Speaker 1: The credit card? Yes, machine?
- 14:25Speaker 2: When you used to pay with a credit card, you
- 14:26Speaker 2: give them the credit card. They had this like metal
- 14:28Speaker 2: thing and you put the card on there with the
- 14:32Speaker 2: numbers that had the raised numbers on it, and then
- 14:34Speaker 2: they put like a carbon copy paper over top and
- 14:37Speaker 2: they run that over it because it would imprint the
- 14:40Speaker 2: number onto the quote credit card receipt, which I remember
- 14:44Speaker 2: working at a store where we had to fill those
- 14:45Speaker 2: out and get a code because you, yeah, you run
- 14:49Speaker 2: the stupid card and printing out a code or give
- 14:52Speaker 2: you a code. You had to write on that thing
- 14:53Speaker 2: and then and then have somebody what painting as.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I always hated those things. I'm like, why am I
- 14:58Speaker 5: giving people a copy of my credit card?
- 15:00Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 15:00Speaker 2: I was to think of home alone too. After that,
- 15:04Speaker 2: he's like, whoa what worked? Throwback sound? Number three?
- 15:07Speaker 8: What is this?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Morgan?
- 15:12Speaker 2: What does that sound?
- 15:13Speaker 7: I'm struggling with this one and number five they sound
- 15:15Speaker 7: very similar to me.
- 15:16Speaker 2: They similar.
- 15:18Speaker 7: Is this like a receipt printing at Macy's or something printing?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yes, that is a dot matrix printer. Never heard of that.
- 15:29Speaker 2: The printers the paper that you would feed into the
- 15:33Speaker 2: into the printer had holes on the side.
- 15:35Speaker 10: Oh yeah, but how much did you have ripping those?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I hated it because as a perfectionist, and Greg will agree,
- 15:41Speaker 2: like you needed to be clean and so like sometimes
- 15:44Speaker 2: there'll be just a little tiny piece that would hang
- 15:46Speaker 2: on or it would like start tearing into the actual
- 15:49Speaker 2: edge of the paper, especially it was something you had
- 15:51Speaker 2: to turn in, like something for work or something for school.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But if you got really.
- 15:55Speaker 10: Bored, wouldn't you take all those off and make like
- 15:57Speaker 10: a long chain out of them?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Once in a blue Man but but God forbid, it
- 16:01Speaker 1: got crooked once and the whole thing. You that's how
- 16:04Speaker 1: we got our news at this radio station I worked
- 16:06Speaker 1: for on the Apia, and it would just print out
- 16:10Speaker 1: at random that random times.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I can tell you that this is a good guess
- 16:14Speaker 2: on the text for what's that throwback sound? Number four?
- 16:19Speaker 2: He said, is that Greg putting sea bass in the
- 16:22Speaker 2: trunk of his classic?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Very good guess, great guess?
- 16:26Speaker 2: All right, what is number four? Morgan?
- 16:30Speaker 7: That's got to be AOL or AIM messenger?
- 16:32Speaker 6: Right, yes, my favorite.
- 16:35Speaker 2: So like when you'd have like an instant messenger, and
- 16:38Speaker 2: let's say Greg signed on with his modem that he
- 16:40Speaker 2: had the landline phone with the receiver inside down on
- 16:43Speaker 2: him and he would log in. As soon as Greg
- 16:46Speaker 2: would log in, it would be like Greg sixty nine.
- 16:49Speaker 2: So it would make that sound to let you know
- 16:52Speaker 2: that Greg has just arrived, because that's that's a door
- 16:55Speaker 2: squeak opening, like we're okay.
- 16:58Speaker 10: I know everyone got the AOL's CDs in the mail,
- 17:00Speaker 10: But was AOL too rich for our blood because I don't.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Think we had that?
- 17:03Speaker 2: No, Yeah, all right, so that's everybody wanting. And then
- 17:08Speaker 2: when somebody would leave and sign off or somebody else
- 17:11Speaker 2: picked up the phone in the house, like and you
- 17:14Speaker 2: you log off, or you would the person would be
- 17:16Speaker 2: leaving the AOL instant Messenger. It was that door slam,
- 17:19Speaker 2: So joining is and then the door slam.
- 17:22Speaker 7: I have no idea. It's the instant messenger.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, Well, if you had AOL, you had
- 17:28Speaker 2: everybody on AOL had the messenger, right, and then AOL
- 17:31Speaker 2: Instant Messenger was like its own standalone thing.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Yeah. And then it became part of the T mobile Sidekick,
- 17:36Speaker 6: which was my favorite phone. I loved AIM. And it
- 17:40Speaker 6: was way quicker than text messaging too.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Yeah, and you could have little away messages.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And then here last one, number five, which you said
- 17:48Speaker 2: was very similar to number three.
- 17:52Speaker 1: This one's a little bit yeah sounds.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I remember that. I remember the sound because I'm like, oh, oh,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I hope this thing is okay. That is the sounding,
- 18:01Speaker 2: guesses Morgan.
- 18:03Speaker 7: No, I wrote down scanner, But that's scanner, all right, menace.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I just put like a printer, okay, ye, not a printer.
- 18:11Speaker 2: That's a floppy disc spinning. Remember how you put the
- 18:14Speaker 2: disk in there and all of a sudden the disc
- 18:16Speaker 2: drive would start making that like Oh my god, is
- 18:18Speaker 2: this thing like gonna die?
- 18:20Speaker 1: But spin?
- 18:21Speaker 2: Even the hard drives back in the they would physically move.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Now you have what you see on the thing, Greg.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I'm sure when you're looking at computers it will say
- 18:28Speaker 2: solid state drive. And because there's no moving part, nothing moves.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It used to spin. And so that's why if you
- 18:36Speaker 2: like dropped the computer or you drop the you can
- 18:38Speaker 2: really screw it up and you lose everything on that
- 18:40Speaker 2: hard drive. But like the floppy discs, there were two kind.
- 18:43Speaker 2: There were the floppy floppies and then there were those
- 18:46Speaker 2: little square plastic ones. Yeah, I mean spin what I
- 18:50Speaker 2: used the hardware ones.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Yeah, but when I got to college, we had zip
- 18:56Speaker 5: drives and Jazz drives, and I remember the Jazz zip.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Drive had a hundred megabytes on it.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Oh and then when you're really balling, you had a
- 19:06Speaker 5: Jazz drive and had one gig.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You're like, what good point on the text somebody is
- 19:11Speaker 2: that they were in an auto parts store the other
- 19:13Speaker 2: day and they were still using the dot Matrix preter.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I think hearts departments are the only ones using that
- 19:18Speaker 2: stelf amazing. Yeah, So just some throwback sounds for you,
- 19:22Speaker 2: like that the wood he.
- 19:23Speaker 11: Show you ever got a flat tire on your house?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Is that for readmig news? Today's Redneck News has all
- 19:33Speaker 2: the elements to qualify for a great story feature. For
- 19:36Speaker 2: this it's from Florida. Check meth pipe check yet, random
- 19:42Speaker 2: joy ride and stolen vehicle check, absurd justification check, and
- 19:48Speaker 2: it's got what I feel is an unintentionally hilarious twist.
- 19:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 19:53Speaker 2: The story starts with this fifty seven year old fellow
- 19:55Speaker 2: later identified as Jonathan Patrick Winslow. He showed up to
- 20:00Speaker 2: a famous Key West trolley tour it's called the world
- 20:03Speaker 2: famous Conch Tour train, all right, And he told one
- 20:07Speaker 2: of the employees that he used to work there, and
- 20:09Speaker 2: he asked if he could take one of the trains.
- 20:12Speaker 2: He then hopped on and then took off with it.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Now there's your random joy riding ran like that. The
- 20:20Speaker 2: employee is really confused's never had that happened before. Cops called.
- 20:24Speaker 2: When they copped to Jonathan, he was on the other
- 20:26Speaker 2: side of town and they saw he wasn't alone with
- 20:29Speaker 2: the train. He had stopped and picked up some tourists
- 20:32Speaker 2: along the way. If he made the stops, he was
- 20:36Speaker 2: arrested and when they searched him. That's when they found
- 20:38Speaker 2: the meth pipe that I had mentioned. As for the
- 20:40Speaker 2: absurd justification. During questioning down the police station, Jonathan tried
- 20:44Speaker 2: to say that it was just to think he was
- 20:46Speaker 2: borrowing the trolley and he did because it was his birthday. Cool,
- 20:50Speaker 2: So go shorty, it's your birthday and then steal a trolley.
- 20:54Speaker 2: There's a picture of Jonathan being a rest of right
- 20:56Speaker 2: there at the trolley station. He made the stop. Oh yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 2: he made all the stops. That's the best, just doing
- 21:02Speaker 2: the job.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 2: So that's that is from Florida. That is fifty seven
- 21:06Speaker 2: year old Jonathan Patrick Winslow who hijacked a sight seeing trolley.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It even stopped to pick up passengers while he took
- 21:13Speaker 2: it for a meth fuel joy ride on his birthday.
- 21:16Speaker 6: Cool.
- 21:16Speaker 11: I love that.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And that is today's raid, Nick. We're gonna get a
- 21:24Speaker 2: quick break. We got some more on the show coming
- 21:27Speaker 2: up for your next hang on the show. Fuck, like,
- 21:30Speaker 2: just these people standing? Who are you fard knockers? This
- 21:35Speaker 2: is the Woody Show?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Hey be them? I still got a Woody.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Seabet.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I wanted to bring this up for Greg.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Get Greg's opinion on this Sea Bass has an idea
- 21:50Speaker 2: for his bathroom. Oh yes, greg ahh TV curs, Yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: I mean, I'm an HTV person, I'm not a big
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'm not a big fan of this.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I know what he wants to do.
- 21:58Speaker 2: But because my other question, Rent though right.
- 22:01Speaker 6: Right, and my new place sadly is the first one
- 22:04Speaker 6: I've had in a long time that does not have
- 22:06Speaker 6: a poopable shower. Well it's not. It's not a walking shower.
- 22:10Speaker 6: It's a it's a.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Tub with abower with a shower curtain. Those one who
- 22:15Speaker 2: might be new to the show, Sea Best claims that
- 22:17Speaker 2: he poops in the shower when it's a center drain
- 22:20Speaker 2: shower center drain like a you know, like a stall shower.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Remove the great Yeah you're not gonna waffle stomp it
- 22:25Speaker 2: through there, but you could.
- 22:27Speaker 10: It's so much he claims it. Why would he ever
- 22:31Speaker 10: say it?
- 22:31Speaker 2: Not mean it because it sounds goofy? But is that
- 22:33Speaker 2: something that you really do? It's like saw the chair
- 22:35Speaker 2: you're talking about, like a filthy sand chez or there
- 22:37Speaker 2: are people really doing that? Or is it just sounds silly?
- 22:40Speaker 2: Sound sound silly.
- 22:41Speaker 6: It sounds cleaner and again it will be the way
- 22:43Speaker 6: in the future. So my new place doesn't have that.
- 22:46Speaker 6: So I said, okay, I'm now I'm spoiled. I love
- 22:50Speaker 6: walking showers so much and I don't want to deal
- 22:52Speaker 6: with the stupid ass shower curtain. So I look at
- 22:54Speaker 6: my new place. It's full tile floors. I thought, well,
- 22:56Speaker 6: and I turned on the shower ahead and it doesn't
- 22:58Speaker 6: really splash that far. It's like, what if I just
- 23:00Speaker 6: ate this into a wet room, I'll get Have you
- 23:03Speaker 6: seen those greg I have?
- 23:04Speaker 1: I'm not a fan. That's when you have basically a
- 23:07Speaker 1: tub and a shower in the same I don't want.
- 23:11Speaker 1: There's usually behind glass, there's a tub in the shower,
- 23:13Speaker 1: in your shower. And the reason I don't like it
- 23:16Speaker 1: is because how often do you take a bath versus
- 23:18Speaker 1: how often do you shower? You shower seven days a week.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You took a bath once every seven years, and you
- 23:23Speaker 1: take it the bath thing.
- 23:23Speaker 6: It's just I want an open I want an open
- 23:25Speaker 6: concept essentially, and I've got myself.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I already give the curtain, remove the curt and just shower.
- 23:30Speaker 6: Now if stuff gets on the floor, I understand that
- 23:32Speaker 6: there will be some of that, of course, Yeah, I'll
- 23:34Speaker 6: just get a big washable like area rug that's that
- 23:37Speaker 6: looks nice of course that matches the decor. Throw that
- 23:40Speaker 6: out in front of the shower, so that'll catch whatever,
- 23:42Speaker 6: wash that whatever once a week and I'll have an
- 23:44Speaker 6: open concept.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I'm not sure. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not sure
- 23:50Speaker 2: where you're living, you know this new place. Is it
- 23:52Speaker 2: like a newer apartment, like a like where it's concrete
- 23:55Speaker 2: floors between each floor. Yes, And if you're in a
- 23:57Speaker 2: typical apartment you know situation, I would think, like those
- 24:01Speaker 2: tile floors probably not done so hot because the landlords
- 24:05Speaker 2: don't really you know, go for this is luxury part.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Know I'm saying is that any water that gets then
- 24:10Speaker 2: on the floor could then leak through down to the
- 24:12Speaker 2: apartment or whatever underneath.
- 24:13Speaker 6: And for what I'm saying, I don't see big puddles
- 24:15Speaker 6: or pools of water. Again, I will have an absorbable rug.
- 24:17Speaker 6: And my only thought speaking the mold was well, the
- 24:20Speaker 6: you know outside of the tub itself a little like
- 24:23Speaker 6: with the wall is you know, plastered and dryballed and whatever.
- 24:27Speaker 6: I was thinking, if I really cared that much, like
- 24:28Speaker 6: the area right around the shower that's that's painted over,
- 24:32Speaker 6: It's like Scotch guarded, but you still have I think
- 24:35Speaker 6: that the layout was still look weird because you still
- 24:37Speaker 6: have a tub tub shower combo.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I mean. So it's a tough. So
- 24:43Speaker 2: then I don't have like that.
- 24:43Speaker 6: I don't have that.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I don't like I don't like the shower curtain pressing
- 24:46Speaker 2: up and touching me.
- 24:47Speaker 7: You know, you walk in though, walk.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Right.
- 24:50Speaker 6: But I'll still have like the shoulder room and it'll
- 24:52Speaker 6: feel free, you.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Know, you can get Have you seen one of those
- 24:56Speaker 2: those boat those those curves. Those are cool. No, I've
- 25:01Speaker 2: seen those like in hotels and stuff, but.
- 25:02Speaker 10: I thought they were places for a gentleman of carriage.
- 25:06Speaker 2: No, no, no, they're made forcause some tubs are just
- 25:10Speaker 2: like the older ones, especially they're more narrow, right, Yes,
- 25:12Speaker 2: and that's the thing. It's like, so when that when
- 25:14Speaker 2: the when the curtains up there no matter.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Scraping up against it just feels claustrophobic.
- 25:18Speaker 10: It's like it bows out.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, those are cool.
- 25:21Speaker 6: I'll think about that, but I'm going I'm going open
- 25:23Speaker 6: concept first. But I wanted to hear if maybe you.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Have a shower where you forget something like I don't
- 25:28Speaker 1: know you have to reach for something, so you open
- 25:30Speaker 1: the curtain, grab whatever you need, and it's just in
- 25:33Speaker 1: that one split second there's water everywhere. I think you
- 25:37Speaker 1: would regret this taking the down.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna play with it again. I
- 25:41Speaker 6: do have a big, big old rug I'm gonna put
- 25:43Speaker 6: out there just to help catch any ofthing.
- 25:45Speaker 1: It sounds I don't know, too moist, to damp, too damp,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and it starts to smell nothing, nothing can just like
- 25:53Speaker 1: military stuff, damp, complicated.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Make it better, make curves, it gets better.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Inventors, I vote no.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I say, I don't like that. Look when I see
- 26:04Speaker 2: it on those shows stresses me out. Yeah, I don't
- 26:07Speaker 2: like it. It sounds weird too, do you not? Because
- 26:09Speaker 2: not even they don't have the space. They did it intentionally.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know they I think, after you shower,
- 26:14Speaker 1: are you drying off the bathtub right time?
- 26:16Speaker 2: They have plenty of room, They have plenty of room
- 26:18Speaker 2: to have both, have both and not have them be
- 26:21Speaker 2: like the tub in with the shower. I don't but
- 26:23Speaker 2: that don't yeah eight seven seven four Wooding text us
- 26:27Speaker 2: over to two two nine eight seven.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Right back look at all right?
- 26:47Speaker 2: Uh I'm gonna play I got I don't know where
- 26:49Speaker 2: Sea Bass is.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Who knows he?
- 26:52Speaker 7: Whoever knows?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, bathroom. He's been whether it was intentional or not,
- 27:00Speaker 2: he's been kind of a pain in the ass for me.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I say, just since, just since we've been back.
- 27:08Speaker 1: From the break.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I ended up in this meeting the other day. Hey,
- 27:13Speaker 2: come come see us before you leave. And I didn't
- 27:16Speaker 2: get out of here for like an extra two hours.
- 27:18Speaker 6: Why two hour meeting about Sea Bass?
- 27:21Speaker 7: Yeah, now that sounds fun.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And he wasn't there if he decided, if he decided
- 27:29Speaker 2: to come in and defend himselves, show yourself. Yeah, all right,
- 27:32Speaker 2: so okay, and then we what's interesting is then we
- 27:34Speaker 2: got an after hours voicemail about this too, And I
- 27:37Speaker 2: had no idea this was going on. So I go
- 27:39Speaker 2: into a meeting about some guy. I had no idea
- 27:40Speaker 2: what was going on involving Sea Bass. First day back again,
- 27:43Speaker 2: it's like this big long thing and here, let's let me,
- 27:46Speaker 2: let me, let me play this. Let me play this
- 27:48Speaker 2: after hours voicemail for you, and then you can tell me,
- 27:50Speaker 2: tell me what you think here.
- 27:53Speaker 11: I don't want to say I have a bothe to pick,
- 27:55Speaker 11: but I have a to picks because I just found
- 27:58Speaker 11: out right now the most recent Cardnarks posting that I
- 28:03Speaker 11: guess apparently there's a new feature called Instagram subscriptions. And
- 28:08Speaker 11: then he also posted a Patreon link for cart marks
- 28:13Speaker 11: because correct me if I'm wrong, guys. But the whole
- 28:17Speaker 11: point of this was it's a public service and we're
- 28:20Speaker 11: not making any money off it, right.
- 28:23Speaker 8: It goes against your whole campaign. There seabeth to be
- 28:28Speaker 8: subs taking subscriptions, and you know, I love cardonarks, and frankly,
- 28:34Speaker 8: I don't want to pay for it, right, and it
- 28:37Speaker 8: goes against the whole campaign. I understand that there may
- 28:40Speaker 8: be an argument we had that perhaps it removes the
- 28:43Speaker 8: most controversial parts of the videos away from the public
- 28:48Speaker 8: and it reserves them for those who want to pay
- 28:51Speaker 8: to see them. But we gotta admit, man, that's how
- 28:55Speaker 8: you gained all your populatory in the first place. And
- 28:58Speaker 8: I don't know. I love I love everything that stands
- 29:02Speaker 8: for hashtag take back the carts, but yeah, but I
- 29:06Speaker 8: don't want to pay for it.
- 29:07Speaker 11: All right, I guess that was it?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Bye?
- 29:10Speaker 5: I mean, okay, I don't know anything about this either.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Is he actually charging for yes?
- 29:17Speaker 2: So I don't know. It was the first I had
- 29:19Speaker 2: heard of Instagram subscription.
- 29:21Speaker 6: I know you can set that up, yes, but you
- 29:24Speaker 6: can also have like a zero I know that.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I know that now, and I don't know the Instagram
- 29:28Speaker 2: subscription thing. I can't. That was not with this meeting.
- 29:31Speaker 2: The meeting was about the company got wind that he's
- 29:36Speaker 2: got a Patreon set up for cart arcs, which he
- 29:39Speaker 2: doesn't own. It belongs to the company. It's intellectual property
- 29:43Speaker 2: of anything that we create while we work here as
- 29:46Speaker 2: an employee of this company, they own the intellectual property.
- 29:50Speaker 2: So like, I can't just like decide to make up,
- 29:54Speaker 2: you know, T shirts with Ryan Seacrest's name on it
- 29:57Speaker 2: or whatever anything else of the company like tech and
- 30:01Speaker 2: just sell it the money. You see what I'm saying, Right,
- 30:04Speaker 2: I can't.
- 30:05Speaker 7: I can't.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I can't sell my own airtime. I can't. It's it's
- 30:09Speaker 2: their stuff, exact right.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I can't.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Even even if I wanted to do a Woodie Show
- 30:14Speaker 2: podcast that was an exclusive thing behind a paywalk cut,
- 30:18Speaker 2: I couldn't do that either, because I'm an employee of
- 30:20Speaker 2: the company. It's not it's it. I can't do yours
- 30:24Speaker 2: decide you could, but you would have to meet with
- 30:28Speaker 2: them first about it, and I know other people who
- 30:30Speaker 2: have done that, And the way it works is that
- 30:33Speaker 2: they sell all the ads for it and then they
- 30:34Speaker 2: cut you into it.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't cut them into it, like you're their employee. Yes,
- 30:39Speaker 2: you've signed an agreement that anything you do in the
- 30:41Speaker 2: audio space or anything you do in this whatever there
- 30:43Speaker 2: has to be in an our case, in our case
- 30:46Speaker 2: doing this job, whatever content is created is then the
- 30:49Speaker 2: property of the intellectual property of the company. So he
- 30:52Speaker 2: he can't just set up a Patreon and charge money
- 30:55Speaker 2: for the company's Like, what's going on in him? I
- 30:57Speaker 2: don't know you know about this?
- 30:58Speaker 1: I can't know.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I did, I had no idea about this. And then
- 31:00Speaker 2: we get this after hours voicemail. Yeah, so there's that.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Now there are a couple of things I did know about.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 31:06Speaker 1: We got the.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Cartnark's YouTube page, and YouTube can be monetized and the
- 31:12Speaker 2: YouTube cartark YouTube page makes some pretty good money. We
- 31:17Speaker 2: have an agreement the company the show having with Sea Bass.
- 31:21Speaker 2: He gets to keep all of that money, which is significant.
- 31:25Speaker 2: It's significant, so he gets to keep but they know
- 31:28Speaker 2: about that. See, everybody else's has also turned a blind
- 31:33Speaker 2: eye to where he he has cart Ark's merchandise, which
- 31:38Speaker 2: you know, like shirts and stick and big deal. Just
- 31:42Speaker 2: this they don't like, so it has to come down immediately.
- 31:45Speaker 2: He's not allowed to just turn around and sell. And
- 31:48Speaker 2: I didn't know if this is part of his like
- 31:50Speaker 2: you know, he says retired, like, but you can't do
- 31:53Speaker 2: it this way, meanings like yes, I'm like but because
- 31:57Speaker 2: they's like, did you know about this? I didn't. I
- 31:59Speaker 2: had no idea as if I was complicit, maybe I'm
- 32:01Speaker 2: taking some of the money. Why am I in a
- 32:03Speaker 2: two hour meeting.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Talking about the history of humanity wouldn't even take two hours.
- 32:13Speaker 1: The show.
- 32:17Speaker 2: We were talking about, you know, Greg being embarrassed by
- 32:20Speaker 2: toilet I mentioned how today is the anniversary the first
- 32:26Speaker 2: the first show that we ever did together twenty years ago,
- 32:32Speaker 2: and all the stuff that we very quickly learned about
- 32:35Speaker 2: Greg and how complicated he is and so many in
- 32:38Speaker 2: so many ways. The toilet paper thing, the deodorant thing,
- 32:42Speaker 2: it reminds it reminded me. I don't know if you're
- 32:45Speaker 2: gonna want to tell the story. God, do you know
- 32:48Speaker 2: the story I'm talking about? Like about how you stopped
- 32:51Speaker 2: off at the grocery store because you had a guest. Oh,
- 32:55Speaker 2: I'll tell that, Okay. I didn't want to give way
- 32:58Speaker 2: to it because if you don't have that, I had something.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I got something else that will speak to Greg and
- 33:02Speaker 2: we can talk about something.
- 33:03Speaker 1: But it ties in perfectly with what we're talking about
- 33:05Speaker 1: because it's so out of character for me.
- 33:07Speaker 2: So so keep it, keep on. Greg's the guy that
- 33:10Speaker 2: doesn't want to buy toilet paper of the storre because
- 33:12Speaker 2: it's embarrassing. Because it's embarrassing, right, But this was fine.
- 33:16Speaker 1: This is because like it's like the equivalent of a
- 33:21Speaker 1: drug addict rooting through the trash to find like a
- 33:24Speaker 1: needle because you need a needle for something.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I think the only person in the room right now
- 33:28Speaker 2: that doesn't know the story is Morgan, okay, And I
- 33:31Speaker 2: just I just want to say it was also a
- 33:32Speaker 2: really wild time in your life. Absolutely, you want to
- 33:36Speaker 2: set that up. This is like after the divorce.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So got divorced and went straight headfirst into a total
- 33:43Speaker 1: who how and left and right?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Because Greg, Greg went from being married to the woman
- 33:48Speaker 2: and then coming out and then went right into like
- 33:51Speaker 2: a gay horror.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Fans And why wouldn't I was living alone. I was
- 33:55Speaker 1: divorced out and I'm like, this is the time. Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 1: you know, so going to the megahore face and this
- 34:03Speaker 1: story is so fun. I was having like one night
- 34:05Speaker 1: stands and going on stupid dates and all this stuff.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Met this one, this one guy online who lived let's
- 34:13Speaker 1: round it off to three hundred and fifty miles away.
- 34:17Speaker 1: So what are you going to do in that case? Oh,
- 34:19Speaker 1: you're gonna fly them in sure for the weekend. So
- 34:23Speaker 1: we'll call it a one weekend stand. Never even met
- 34:26Speaker 1: the guy in person, right, but flew him in.
- 34:29Speaker 7: To your house? Or did you get a hotel to
- 34:31Speaker 7: my house.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Like an idiot?
- 34:34Speaker 6: Right?
- 34:35Speaker 1: Drive to the airport to pick him up. Hi, nice
- 34:37Speaker 1: to meet you, knowing damn well, what we're about to
- 34:40Speaker 1: do all weekend long, all weekend long at my house.
- 34:43Speaker 1: So on the way back to my house, having barely known,
- 34:46Speaker 1: this guy said, what do you like to eat in
- 34:48Speaker 1: the morning for breakfast? You know, because you got entertain
- 34:52Speaker 1: to be a good mouse, he says, well, I like oatmeal.
- 34:55Speaker 1: He said, oh crap, I don't have any oatmeal at home.
- 34:58Speaker 1: So we got to stop on the way back to
- 34:59Speaker 1: my house. So we stopped at the grocery store, and
- 35:03Speaker 1: we realize we need a couple of other things as well.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the essentials for the weekend, A couple condoms, lube,
- 35:12Speaker 2: an oatmeal. Yeah, he doesn't want to buy deodorant.
- 35:19Speaker 7: You'll get that combination of things.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I go in and luckily it was at night and
- 35:23Speaker 1: it wasn't too busy and the store was still open.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It's still under these circumstances, like I realized, you're like
- 35:29Speaker 2: in a everything when you're horny, everything's a good okay.
- 35:32Speaker 2: But now Greg, you won't be a deodorant. But condoms
- 35:37Speaker 2: aren't embarrassing for you because a lot there are a
- 35:39Speaker 2: lot of people who aren't embarrassed by toilet paper or
- 35:42Speaker 2: deant type of dies. But they they would rather almost
- 35:45Speaker 2: get you know, risk getting caught shoplifting the condoms, then
- 35:49Speaker 2: take them to the counter.
- 35:50Speaker 1: See, the more you say that I'm complicated, I'm starting
- 35:53Speaker 1: to agree with you because because condoms, to me, it's
- 35:56Speaker 1: almost like, yeah, check.
- 35:57Speaker 7: It out, I have a need for the Yeah, I
- 36:02Speaker 7: think the lube is the most same.
- 36:03Speaker 10: Loob feels very embarrassing even as a woman in a combination.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Like solub maybe not because anything, like you know, they
- 36:10Speaker 2: don't du just don't produce any natural natural lubricn true.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So yeah, I spit it on.
- 36:16Speaker 7: You know, I'm saying at the time there was like
- 36:18Speaker 7: no inkling of embarrassment or oh there was, but.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I powered through. Okay, I mean it was definitely embarrassing,
- 36:26Speaker 1: especially like it's so blatantly obvious.
- 36:28Speaker 2: And there's a self checkout.
- 36:30Speaker 1: You're here at the no you hear at the grocery
- 36:32Speaker 1: store at like whatever, ten thirty at night and you're
- 36:35Speaker 1: buying lube.
- 36:35Speaker 13: Did you go to say hi, I'm Greg Glory and
- 36:39Speaker 13: I noticed that the price of the lube markedly correctly different.
- 36:45Speaker 13: We got a price check on the condo in the
- 36:46Speaker 13: oat meal while you get on the PA.
- 36:50Speaker 10: And you know, the cashiers like, what does the oatmeal
- 36:53Speaker 10: have to do with this?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Right? How does this that was back into their love making.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 2: So this this poor guy that he trafficked in for
- 37:01Speaker 2: a weekend worth of second he got meal, did go
- 37:06Speaker 2: well bottom.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Once you got home? I thought? Weird? Yeah, yeah not.
- 37:13Speaker 1: I mean, obviously you entertained him by just whatever, throwing
- 37:17Speaker 1: the TV on, And at the time I smoked this
- 37:21Speaker 1: guy was a total gym rat, and luckily he smoked,
- 37:25Speaker 1: so at least we could go in the backyard and
- 37:27Speaker 1: I have a cigarette. Yeah, and then while, yeah, while
- 37:31Speaker 1: you're having a cigarette, you can talk about okay, what
- 37:33Speaker 1: are we going to do with these condoms.
- 37:34Speaker 2: And smoke something else. All right, So just out of
- 37:39Speaker 2: pure curiosity. So you meet this guy online from from
- 37:42Speaker 2: the time you met him online, first started talking him
- 37:44Speaker 2: online till you said, oh, i'll fly you in. How
- 37:47Speaker 2: long was that time period? Like how much had you
- 37:49Speaker 2: actually had any kind of conversation.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Between like chatting online and then having him physically at
- 37:53Speaker 1: my house from the first chat to the invite? Oh,
- 38:00Speaker 1: probably same day, same day.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 38:05Speaker 6: Let the thought he was really hot.
- 38:07Speaker 2: So how does it go? Like you pick him up
- 38:09Speaker 2: at the airport, Hey, nice to meet you. You stop
- 38:11Speaker 2: off for the oatmeal in the loop and the condoms,
- 38:14Speaker 2: and you get back to the house and it kind
- 38:16Speaker 2: of it's the elephant in the room because everybody knows
- 38:18Speaker 2: you're there for one reasons there. Yeah, yeah, So like
- 38:21Speaker 2: how does that? How does that start?
- 38:24Speaker 4: Like?
- 38:24Speaker 1: Uh, like, how do you get that?
- 38:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:27Speaker 1: Right? Okay, now so you're here now, so I guess
- 38:32Speaker 1: we're going to have sex.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Now.
- 38:33Speaker 10: I feel like it's the host.
- 38:34Speaker 6: You have to make the first move kinda I think
- 38:37Speaker 6: for more trafficker.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, what do you mean, the generous person? Yeah,
- 38:43Speaker 2: htad trafficker in charge.
- 38:45Speaker 1: And I think from what I remember, we started just
- 38:49Speaker 1: by like watching TV, hanging out kind of Netflix and chill.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, and then I think it advanced to the bedroom,
- 38:57Speaker 1: I guess, But there was no chemistry. It was all awards.
- 39:00Speaker 1: It's it's awkward to talk about.
- 39:02Speaker 14: Did you ever think to yourself, what kind of guy
- 39:03Speaker 14: would accept this invitation?
- 39:05Speaker 2: But he's the guy who who's the guy who extends
- 39:07Speaker 2: the accepts it.
- 39:09Speaker 10: That's weirder to me. People throw out invites all the time.
- 39:13Speaker 2: And he was like, yes, I will get on the plane.
- 39:15Speaker 1: He saw my photo and clearly wanted to travel the
- 39:17Speaker 1: same when you flew somebody in for sex.
- 39:23Speaker 7: Did you climb on like spirit Southwest?
- 39:26Speaker 1: I think it was Southwest. I mean it was nothing
- 39:28Speaker 1: nice and then the weird the thing that sucked the most.
- 39:30Speaker 1: This was a Friday night, and I realized, oh my god,
- 39:34Speaker 1: he's here until like Sunday evening. And by late Friday
- 39:38Speaker 1: night I was over it. And I don't remember what
- 39:41Speaker 1: we did during the day, like, oh, you want to
- 39:44Speaker 1: go sight saying.
- 39:47Speaker 10: Did you talk to him again?
- 39:48Speaker 7: Ever?
- 39:49Speaker 1: I remember his first name. I don't remember his Oh
- 39:52Speaker 1: actually I might remember his last name. His first name
- 39:54Speaker 1: was Joel.
- 39:56Speaker 2: You can find him on Facebook. He's doing now.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I don't think I don't remember his last Yeah, big?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Do you feel?
- 40:11Speaker 2: Each individual pump story about this forty two year old guy.
- 40:19Speaker 2: He has filed a lawsuit against a restaurant in Italy
- 40:22Speaker 2: after they featured him in this promo video on social
- 40:27Speaker 2: media without his consent. Okay, you know, normally being a
- 40:31Speaker 2: video not that big a deal. But for this guy,
- 40:33Speaker 2: he was cheating on his wife and he was at
- 40:36Speaker 2: a restaurant with his side piece and the guys. The
- 40:38Speaker 2: guy's wife happened to see the video and he was caught,
- 40:42Speaker 2: so she kicked him out of the house, filed for
- 40:46Speaker 2: a divorce. But the the man wants his revenge, so
- 40:49Speaker 2: he's filed this lawsuit claiming that his rights to privacy
- 40:52Speaker 2: had been violated. Now, Seabet, I'm sure you can speak
- 40:55Speaker 2: more to maybe not Italy, but like, let's just say
- 40:58Speaker 2: he has way of different rules. Let's just say here,
- 41:01Speaker 2: let's say menace is cheating on his wife and he's
- 41:04Speaker 2: out at some cafe and this happens to him, Like,
- 41:08Speaker 2: what's the expectation of privacy? Even if you're out of
- 41:11Speaker 2: privately owned business, you're still out in public. You're not
- 41:13Speaker 2: like the inside because it's not a restroom. I understand
- 41:17Speaker 2: all restrooms, no matter if it's a public restroom or
- 41:19Speaker 2: private restroom like in someone's house, you have an expectation
- 41:23Speaker 2: of privacy. But if you're just like at a.
- 41:24Speaker 6: Restaurant, Yeah, his clay wouldn't be expectation of privacy because
- 41:27Speaker 6: it's a publicly accessible building. His clay might be right
- 41:31Speaker 6: of publicity, meaning I can't use your image to sell products.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't. Just let's they have one of those
- 41:37Speaker 2: signs of the door it said.
- 41:40Speaker 6: You see those yeah, which is fine for like promo
- 41:43Speaker 6: videos or you see those concerts and stuff like that,
- 41:45Speaker 6: but as far as actually producing a commercial, which is
- 41:48Speaker 6: why I don't like it. When you're at a gym
- 41:50Speaker 6: and like the trainer then grabs their phone and starts
- 41:53Speaker 6: while you're in the middle of something, so you can't
- 41:54Speaker 6: object to they start taking their phone and like scanning
- 41:57Speaker 6: across the hole.
- 42:01Speaker 2: It's that when that happened in the middle of it
- 42:04Speaker 2: might be it might be legal, but it's it's well,
- 42:07Speaker 2: the lawsuit is ongoing. The guys he can damage this,
- 42:09Speaker 2: he's considering following a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Yeah,
- 42:15Speaker 2: like I said, they have way more means.
- 42:17Speaker 10: But also, isn't that kind of like blaming the wrong person?
- 42:20Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 42:21Speaker 10: You know, like that's also kind of just on you
- 42:23Speaker 10: for being a jackass.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you got busted. Men, just own it.
- 42:26Speaker 7: God works in mysterious ways.
- 42:28Speaker 6: Now you're really putting your business out there, because now
- 42:30Speaker 6: it's in the news.
- 42:31Speaker 1: How the hell did his wife find it?
- 42:34Speaker 2: I wasn't looking for.
- 42:36Speaker 9: It.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Could have been somebody that she knew, that knew them, said, Hey,
- 42:40Speaker 2: isn't that isn't that menace?
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:45Speaker 2: Yeah, oh hey I saw medicine this.
- 42:47Speaker 8: Uh you know.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 6: Or maybe she's just and she loves Italian food.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Uh, relationship's gone wrong. In Pennsylvania, a woman and then
- 43:00Speaker 2: her boyfriend they were out on New Year's Eve. They
- 43:02Speaker 2: decided to make a stop at Taco Bell Nice. When
- 43:05Speaker 2: they got out of the car, they started arguing. Not
- 43:07Speaker 2: sure what the argument was about, but that continued inside
- 43:10Speaker 2: the Taco Bell and then back out to the car
- 43:12Speaker 2: and the boyfriend. He actually did the right thing. He
- 43:14Speaker 2: eventually had enough and so he just got out of
- 43:16Speaker 2: the car and started walking. Good then backander it and
- 43:20Speaker 2: do anything like that. Just gets out of the car,
- 43:22Speaker 2: starts walking. Girlfriend hops behind the wheel, drove down the
- 43:26Speaker 2: wrong side of the road, up the sidewalking, ran his
- 43:29Speaker 2: ass over buddy from behind. The boyfriend taking to the
- 43:34Speaker 2: hospital in critical condition. He is expected to be okay eventually.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Last check, the girlfriend was still on the run. She'll
- 43:42Speaker 2: eventually turn up and she'll go to jail. They're going
- 43:44Speaker 2: to charge her with attempted murder, right, Yeah, So I mean,
- 43:48Speaker 2: are you sure you want a relationship? Benji dumb Ass
- 43:53Speaker 2: Tyler and Sea Bass? I mean, are you sure you
- 43:56Speaker 2: want marriage?
- 43:57Speaker 1: You know you're here, you want this is what you're
- 43:59Speaker 1: looking for?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:00Speaker 6: Yeah, well he's I mean, obviously these are trashy people.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Nothing. He has taco Bell.
- 44:03Speaker 6: I have taco Bell. But I would never take a
- 44:05Speaker 6: woman to a fast food restaurant unless it was for
- 44:08Speaker 6: some specific like like oh we got to try this thing,
- 44:11Speaker 6: we saw it, but like as a as a matter
- 44:12Speaker 6: of course, that wouldn't be a date. That's that's that's
- 44:15Speaker 6: even like high school, I wouldn't do.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Maybe the Baja Blast, you know, Pie, I think if
- 44:20Speaker 2: you were in, like you were out doing something else, right,
- 44:23Speaker 2: like you, it's late, you're hungry, right, you've been drinking
- 44:26Speaker 2: on Taco Bell. Yeah, like you guys already went to
- 44:29Speaker 2: whatever that you were doing. Look there, we stopped there.
- 44:32Speaker 6: There's a millions other reasons, like there could be an exception,
- 44:35Speaker 6: but to me, this sounds like this is par for.
- 44:36Speaker 2: The course if that was the whole date, Like, yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna pick you up on Friday, We're going to
- 44:41Speaker 2: Taco Bell.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Every time I.
- 44:44Speaker 6: See like a pumple in the inside a place like
- 44:46Speaker 6: Taco Bell wherever. Yeah, I feel sad. I feel sad
- 44:49Speaker 6: for the woman. Oh this is this is what you
- 44:51Speaker 6: guys do. This is your man.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Is finding a good partner like finding a lamp. Here's
- 44:56Speaker 2: here's what this this woman was a Finding a good.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Partner is like finding a good lamp when your first
- 45:00Speaker 4: in your first apartment.
- 45:00Speaker 10: You don't really have that many.
- 45:02Speaker 7: Standards for the lamp.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Besides provides light and doesn't cost too much, you'll probably
- 45:06Speaker 4: buy the first one you see. Fast forward, though, if
- 45:08Speaker 4: you spend ten years curating an aesthetic building your house. Now,
- 45:11Speaker 4: it really does matter what the lamp looks like. There's
- 45:13Speaker 4: a lot more in your life and in your home
- 45:15Speaker 4: that can clash with it. You might really have trouble
- 45:17Speaker 4: just taking one off the shelf.
- 45:18Speaker 2: And that's what it's like to date.
- 45:20Speaker 4: As you get older, you're trying to find someone more
- 45:22Speaker 4: successful than yourself, which just gets harder the higher and higher.
- 45:25Speaker 11: Up you go.
- 45:27Speaker 7: I kind of agree with this because I think the
- 45:29Speaker 7: more you date, so with each person, you should learn
- 45:32Speaker 7: oh I like this or I don't like this. Absolutely,
- 45:34Speaker 7: you slowly get closer to that person that you ideally
- 45:38Speaker 7: want to be.
- 45:38Speaker 5: So I did find out Tyler's standards when I was
- 45:41Speaker 5: on vacation with him. Make sure I mentioned.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Someone as a reminder. Have you been on a date
- 45:53Speaker 2: since you and Cabo broke up?
- 45:55Speaker 12: No?
- 45:55Speaker 2: I have not, haven't.
- 45:57Speaker 6: Why are you talking with somebody in the hallway before
- 45:59Speaker 6: we break about something?
- 46:01Speaker 2: A coworker? Yeah, I've had.
- 46:07Speaker 9: No.
- 46:07Speaker 7: I might go on a day soon, but I have.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Just checking in. She seems she seems very bubbly. We
- 46:17Speaker 2: we root for your happiness, well have to, because of
- 46:19Speaker 2: a man. It doesn't just you know, typically when you
- 46:23Speaker 2: know all things are you know.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Actually now that you mentioned right, yeah, that's great.
- 46:30Speaker 2: See the movie like that, they show like some big
- 46:32Speaker 2: romantic scene. The next the next scene is like the
- 46:35Speaker 2: elevator doors of the office opening up. They have a
- 46:37Speaker 2: big smile on their face walking on Sunshine by Katrina
- 46:42Speaker 2: and the Waves.
- 46:43Speaker 1: That's Morgan.
- 46:44Speaker 7: I'm trying to have a better attitude. Thank you for noticing.
- 46:47Speaker 2: We know Morgan likes to rate things on a scale
- 46:50Speaker 2: of one to ten. She just can't help herself.
- 46:53Speaker 7: That's all I do.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and so we've asked Morgan to give us when
- 46:58Speaker 2: it comes to first dates. Maybe taco well would be
- 47:01Speaker 2: or wouldn't be. I don't know, like what is what
- 47:03Speaker 2: is Morgan?
- 47:04Speaker 9: Like?
- 47:04Speaker 2: You know, women are the ones guys will whatever. They
- 47:07Speaker 2: don't care what you do, where you go.
- 47:08Speaker 1: If you're awake.
- 47:09Speaker 2: They're just happy to be going out, you know. Yeah,
- 47:11Speaker 2: Oh she said, yes, cool, whatever you do whatever, fine,
- 47:15Speaker 2: especially in that early phase. You'll do even stuff that
- 47:17Speaker 2: you hate doing. It's fine, you know it. Women are
- 47:20Speaker 2: way more judgmental about what the first dates.
- 47:22Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and no asking a girl like you can
- 47:25Speaker 7: turn her off by asking to go to the wrong place.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so first date, ideas and places. Morgan will rate
- 47:30Speaker 2: these on a scale one and ten. It could be
- 47:31Speaker 2: helpful for the fellas, especially for you, Mangi and dumbass Tyler.
- 47:36Speaker 7: Take some notes, Yeah, get them out.
- 47:38Speaker 2: So we do find the next dumb ass Tina for
- 47:41Speaker 2: For dumb ass Tyler, he'll know the yeses and nos
- 47:44Speaker 2: of where to go.
- 47:46Speaker 10: You're gonna help them.
- 47:47Speaker 6: You got some responses on the test.
- 47:49Speaker 7: Would it's like helping him make a wish kid. Oh,
- 47:54Speaker 7: it's a good thing to do. It makes them feel
- 47:55Speaker 7: good and fuzzy inside.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Ouch, no offense. But dumb ass Tyler is ugly. There
- 48:01Speaker 2: is no girl out there that wants to be attached
- 48:03Speaker 2: to that. He's hella ugly.
- 48:07Speaker 6: Everybody's yeah, man, he's a very handsome man.
- 48:12Speaker 2: That's My wife's heard that a thousand times.
- 48:14Speaker 6: In the same way that like Miss's dogs are cute
- 48:16Speaker 6: even though they're drooling and covered and can't breathe.
- 48:19Speaker 2: There's something, there's something baby. Yeah, I don't think that's true, Tyler.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I think you're very handsome, agreed, striking right now, I
- 48:31Speaker 2: think I know what that is. Yeah, this is the
- 48:33Speaker 2: Woodie Show, all right. So the question is is it
- 48:38Speaker 2: a good idea or a bad idea for a first
- 48:41Speaker 2: date like places or think, yeah, whatever is that you
- 48:46Speaker 2: want to do? And we brought in the person who
- 48:49Speaker 2: loves to be the judgmental, the most judgmental on the show,
- 48:52Speaker 2: and that would be Morgan. She loves to rate things
- 48:54Speaker 2: on the scale and one to ten. You know, she's
- 48:55Speaker 2: obsessed with it. She can't stop.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 2: We then have a couple of people already texting in
- 49:01Speaker 2: saying that their first date with their now wife was
- 49:03Speaker 2: to a gun range. Hell, yeah, I love that. What
- 49:06Speaker 2: would you give that?
- 49:07Speaker 7: That's a ten out of ten? Although I'll say I've
- 49:09Speaker 7: never been somewhere to ask me to go. I think
- 49:13Speaker 7: it's a great way to talk to someone and to
- 49:15Speaker 7: try a new thing. Yeah, you've never done it. And girls,
- 49:19Speaker 7: it's kind of hot to see a man shoot a gun.
- 49:22Speaker 6: He's good at it.
- 49:22Speaker 10: It's it'll dry you up faster than the hair if
- 49:25Speaker 10: they keep missing.
- 49:26Speaker 7: Okay, and there you go.
- 49:27Speaker 2: You'll so gun range?
- 49:30Speaker 7: You give a what ten out of ten?
- 49:31Speaker 12: Ten?
- 49:32Speaker 1: All right? A ten?
- 49:33Speaker 7: No experience?
- 49:34Speaker 2: What about this one? This one I would put like
- 49:39Speaker 2: a kind of under star gazing because this person said,
- 49:44Speaker 2: took my wife to the beach on our first date
- 49:47Speaker 2: with a cooler of fresh cut fruit and a bottle
- 49:50Speaker 2: of Tito's and club soda, watch the sunset and finger banger.
- 49:54Speaker 7: Now that's romantic.
- 49:56Speaker 1: What do you think of that?
- 49:58Speaker 6: Is there?
- 50:01Speaker 1: Well? Sand?
- 50:01Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 50:02Speaker 2: Okay, well blanket down, it gets every that's the worst.
- 50:07Speaker 1: That's the worst thing to do with sand, I know.
- 50:09Speaker 2: But if it's a covered enough, it's better than sex.
- 50:14Speaker 6: Right, there's there's a third option. It's much better.
- 50:16Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 50:16Speaker 7: Okay, because you're a man. Uh So with the beach part,
- 50:20Speaker 7: I'm giving that a five out of ten. I don't know,
- 50:23Speaker 7: kind of played out. Yeah, it's played out and it's
- 50:25Speaker 7: just like nothing to do right your people watching?
- 50:28Speaker 6: Are we on a tropical beach?
- 50:29Speaker 7: Are we just unless we're in vacation beach?
- 50:32Speaker 2: But like, what about like the stargazing gazing?
- 50:34Speaker 7: Okay, I give that like a nine out of ten
- 50:36Speaker 7: because that can be kind of what really, Yeah, you
- 50:39Speaker 7: can have I don't like small talk, Like, let's have
- 50:42Speaker 7: deep conversations about the universe and like your dreams and stuff.
- 50:45Speaker 7: You can do that when you're stargazing.
- 50:48Speaker 14: The environment to open up begger conversations, right, Okay, I'm
- 50:51Speaker 14: surprised this.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Is coming from you.
- 50:53Speaker 7: Yeah, I am too. Are you all looking at me crazy? Yeah,
- 50:56Speaker 7: it's crazy, just surprising that you like it.
- 50:58Speaker 6: Yeah, we would think that you would think this is I.
- 51:00Speaker 7: Mean, make sure there's alcohol there for sure.
- 51:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Another question of the text is knowing what they know
- 51:05Speaker 2: about you. What about like a gym or a workout date?
- 51:08Speaker 7: Ten out of ten? Okay, well there, you'll get out
- 51:13Speaker 7: of the people the way that don't want to do that.
- 51:15Speaker 7: That's fine. You want to be with someone that enjoys
- 51:17Speaker 7: the same things as you. And it's the same as
- 51:19Speaker 7: the gun range, Like it's hot looking at a man
- 51:22Speaker 7: do something violent? Or with weights or.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Athletics, are you testing them when you're with them at
- 51:29Speaker 5: the gym to see?
- 51:30Speaker 6: Okay, if he can't bench this much, then he's out.
- 51:32Speaker 7: No, because who cares about the number stuff? I will say,
- 51:35Speaker 7: if you run weird, that's kind of a turn off.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Ladies feel free to agree or disagree with Morgan on
- 51:41Speaker 2: some of these On the text over to two two
- 51:43Speaker 2: nine eight seven. What about going on a double date
- 51:47Speaker 2: with another couple?
- 51:49Speaker 7: Oh, okay, you know what I think. I like this.
- 51:51Speaker 7: I've never done a double date before, but it's a
- 51:54Speaker 7: good way to have more than one other person there.
- 51:57Speaker 7: So if the conversation goes bland.
- 52:00Speaker 2: First date, first it is terrible.
- 52:02Speaker 6: Is it really weird because you can't get the person
- 52:04Speaker 6: because you're you're you're not you're not talking to them,
- 52:06Speaker 6: You're talking to everyone.
- 52:07Speaker 7: Yeah, but you also want to make sure they get
- 52:09Speaker 7: along with you, yes, and how they interact with other people.
- 52:12Speaker 7: I dated someone that didn't get along with my friends
- 52:14Speaker 7: and it just didn't work. Shopping shop like going to
- 52:18Speaker 7: the mall.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's something that I think like menace might do they.
- 52:23Speaker 5: Or back when you were like a kid, you know,
- 52:25Speaker 5: middle school, high school or something like that, like about
- 52:27Speaker 5: their buying you stuff.
- 52:28Speaker 7: See, I think I'm weird because I'm not the type
- 52:31Speaker 7: of girl that's like, yeah, go buy me stuff at
- 52:33Speaker 7: the mall. It feels awkward to me. Yeah, which most
- 52:35Speaker 7: girls will disagree with that completely.
- 52:37Speaker 2: So you don't have to buy anything at the mall.
- 52:39Speaker 2: You can just look at stuff.
- 52:40Speaker 10: I think going to the.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Mall and a data lame.
- 52:42Speaker 7: I'm a I think it's kind of boring. I was
- 52:44Speaker 7: going to do four out of ten.
- 52:45Speaker 2: So, uh, this is a normal by the numbers that
- 52:48Speaker 2: we're asking people about the most unacceptable activities on a
- 52:51Speaker 2: on a date and physical activities swimming at taking a
- 52:54Speaker 2: gym class, double dating, or shopping all the worst list. Really,
- 52:59Speaker 2: all that stuff is like Nope. For me, I would
- 53:01Speaker 2: think going to a movie or anything word or a
- 53:06Speaker 2: concert because you don't talk for a first date.
- 53:08Speaker 1: I think first date movie is the number one worst.
- 53:11Speaker 7: Yes, yeah, because you're just sitting in silence.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Terrible.
- 53:14Speaker 7: You leave and it's like, I don't know.
- 53:15Speaker 2: It was the point correct, There had to be something
- 53:18Speaker 2: either before after the movie, be it like you grab coffee,
- 53:21Speaker 2: dinner or something like that before after that event.
- 53:24Speaker 7: But then that's like adding two three more hours.
- 53:27Speaker 2: That's a date to a movie or a concert is
- 53:30Speaker 2: fine if it's a date later on, but that first date.
- 53:33Speaker 1: See, i'm a first The first date should always have
- 53:36Speaker 1: an end time, yes, And I'm usually not a fan
- 53:38Speaker 1: of end times, especially when it's you're invited to somebody's
- 53:41Speaker 1: party and they say, oh it's from five to eight.
- 53:43Speaker 1: That's super tacky. There should never be an end time,
- 53:45Speaker 1: but for a first date there should be because if
- 53:48Speaker 1: it goes terribly off and out, you have an out. Yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 1: it's great, you have something Oh good, I can't wait
- 53:53Speaker 1: to see you again.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Somebody gave me a good advice when I got divorced
- 53:56Speaker 2: and I had to get back out there. And I'm
- 53:58Speaker 2: terrible at all this stuff. This whole world is not
- 54:01Speaker 2: for me, the dating thing, and so the one thing
- 54:03Speaker 2: that I felt was very helpful. If somebody said, never
- 54:07Speaker 2: schedule a first date for dinner, just say let's meet
- 54:11Speaker 2: for drinks. Let's meet for a drink, like a happy
- 54:13Speaker 2: hour kind of thing, because there's an alley like, oh, sorry,
- 54:15Speaker 2: you know what, can't blah blah blah blah blah, got
- 54:18Speaker 2: to get out of here, got this other thing going on.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Let's schedule something done, you know, next week or something,
- 54:24Speaker 2: or if it goes really well, like hey, you want
- 54:26Speaker 2: to grab something of me, are you hungry? I'm kind
- 54:28Speaker 2: of hungry. Yeah, that's that was perfect.
- 54:30Speaker 10: That makes sense.
- 54:31Speaker 14: But also if you're supposed to go on, like if
- 54:33Speaker 14: you're a girl and you're supposed to go on a
- 54:34Speaker 14: dinner date and the guy's like, actually, let's just get drinks,
- 54:37Speaker 14: that means like you just dropped down it.
- 54:39Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I think happier with that, But it does
- 54:43Speaker 7: mean he's probably talking to.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Someone else on scale one to ten movie theater.
- 54:47Speaker 7: In a movie it's one or it could be zero
- 54:49Speaker 7: point five. Okay, dinner dinner, I give it a seven
- 54:53Speaker 7: out of ten because you're there, you're having conversation, drinks
- 54:56Speaker 7: and a free meal.
- 54:57Speaker 2: First date drinks at a bar.
- 54:59Speaker 7: Oh, nine out of ten. Also, you need alcohol to
- 55:03Speaker 7: kind of like being.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Someone assume like coffee date kind of the same thing.
- 55:06Speaker 2: We kind of group those together.
- 55:07Speaker 7: I would think kind of they're different. But also I
- 55:11Speaker 7: might like coffee date more just because it's shorter amount
- 55:14Speaker 7: of time to what are your point? Continue it longer
- 55:17Speaker 7: if you want, but it can be super quick. It's
- 55:20Speaker 7: not the awkwardness of paying at the end.
- 55:22Speaker 10: You ever bet on a coffee date?
- 55:23Speaker 7: Really?
- 55:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a business media. It's very professional, very
- 55:29Speaker 6: like sanitized incorporated.
- 55:31Speaker 2: A dating thing called it's just coffee or it's just lunch.
- 55:36Speaker 10: There's like coffee and bagel.
- 55:38Speaker 6: And dates like that.
- 55:39Speaker 5: They're always yeah to informally and drinks super fast, empty
- 55:44Speaker 5: with the apps.
- 55:45Speaker 15: Though it's become so popular because you don't know this
- 55:48Speaker 15: person at all, so you really want the quick coffee dated.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Sure, the coffee is ten.
- 55:54Speaker 7: No, I'd go nine out of ten.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Okay, it is the same as drinks at the ball drinks.
- 55:59Speaker 2: That's you always know where you stand with people. If
- 56:02Speaker 2: they never want to do dinner, it's just lunches. Yeah,
- 56:04Speaker 2: you know, you're not really a priority. Yeah, they're not
- 56:08Speaker 2: going to take time, especially if it's any kind of like,
- 56:11Speaker 2: you know, business thing. If it's just like if it's
- 56:14Speaker 2: never like we're going to meet for a business dinner,
- 56:16Speaker 2: business dinner. Serious, they take you seriously, business lunch, no
- 56:20Speaker 2: big deal. They get out of the office, they get
- 56:22Speaker 2: away for a little bit.
- 56:22Speaker 1: That's they were going to do it anyway.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Correct, correct, There, They are not committed to whatever it
- 56:27Speaker 2: is you're talking about working on. It's just basically just
- 56:30Speaker 2: to be nice. Good to know they'll do that. What
- 56:33Speaker 2: about uh, bowling, you love bowling.
- 56:35Speaker 7: Bowling ten out of ten. It's an activity, it's competitive,
- 56:40Speaker 7: which you can be flirty and competitive in that way.
- 56:42Speaker 7: There's drinks, there's food.
- 56:44Speaker 2: I mean, okay, there is food. It's and I agree
- 56:50Speaker 2: with you, it's a good date. But the food is
- 56:51Speaker 2: you know, pizzas. That's that's all fine. Oh, big one.
- 56:59Speaker 2: On the on the text, what about like like a
- 57:01Speaker 2: plus wanted a wedding or some kind of like family event. Hell,
- 57:06Speaker 2: why would you do that on a first date.
- 57:07Speaker 7: I'm not gonna lie. I kind of like it. It's
- 57:10Speaker 7: kind of a red flag, like if a guy were
- 57:12Speaker 7: to invite me to his family event the first time, desperate,
- 57:15Speaker 7: right kind of. But then at the same time, it's
- 57:18Speaker 7: like getting past the small talk.
- 57:19Speaker 6: I'm like, let's yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 7: For a first.
- 57:24Speaker 2: It's super risky for the guy because it is a
- 57:27Speaker 2: family commitment. I have done wedding.
- 57:30Speaker 6: I think I mentioned this. I did a wedding once,
- 57:31Speaker 6: but it was for my fraternity brother's wedding, so he
- 57:35Speaker 6: didn't care. I didn't care, and she found it quite lovely.
- 57:38Speaker 2: So like, what are you giving that.
- 57:42Speaker 7: I would like that it shows that like he's not
- 57:45Speaker 7: talking to any other girls or married, or I don't.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Want to go to a wedding ever. Yeah, let alone
- 57:49Speaker 2: the first date of the wedding. Something you know that
- 57:52Speaker 2: would be in a movie, so it would make it
- 57:54Speaker 2: exciting and you don't know anyone, right, I mean I
- 57:57Speaker 2: never dated people like this, but there are the people
- 57:59Speaker 2: that like to do uh like a church date first
- 58:02Speaker 2: date that's more like the you know, they meet through
- 58:06Speaker 2: religious channels and they go to church yeah, we'll go. Yeah,
- 58:09Speaker 2: we'll go to church on Sunday together, and that's the
- 58:11Speaker 2: that's their first Day's terrible, the.
- 58:13Speaker 7: Bules of their religion. But one eventful seven out of
- 58:20Speaker 7: ten for that, just because it's tough, because a sporting
- 58:23Speaker 7: event can last hours and hours. So if you're there
- 58:25Speaker 7: and you're stuck with someone, that really, yeah suck. But
- 58:29Speaker 7: there's always something to talk about, you.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Know how you talking about escape rooms just in general,
- 58:36Speaker 2: exactly that much work, puzzles, too much work done.
- 58:41Speaker 6: But get I don't want to do it.
- 58:44Speaker 7: It sounds like the stupidest crap I've ever heard, Greg, Like,
- 58:47Speaker 7: the guy asked me to go to an escape room,
- 58:49Speaker 7: I would be turned off.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I would probably not get out. I suck at puzzles
- 58:53Speaker 1: and stuff, but I think it would be fun.
- 58:56Speaker 6: Greg, Sam, I don't love them, love them, but I
- 58:59Speaker 6: think they're fun. Anything that's role playing and yeah, I
- 59:03Speaker 6: don't want to know you're kind of like, yeah you are.
- 59:06Speaker 2: I need to escape from this.
- 59:08Speaker 10: I don't want to be like a murder history dinner.
- 59:10Speaker 10: I don't want any of that bad story, none of that.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like a one yeah, one one on
- 59:15Speaker 2: that one.
- 59:16Speaker 1: All right.
- 59:16Speaker 2: So the normal by the numbers on this uh. Number
- 59:18Speaker 2: one on the worst list was meeting the other person's
- 59:21Speaker 2: family or having them meet your family, love it worse.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Also not good taking them as your plus one to
- 59:27Speaker 2: a wedding. We discussed that that's fine along with spending
- 59:30Speaker 2: time at your place or their place. So if it's
- 59:32Speaker 2: just like first dates, like hey, come on over and
- 59:34Speaker 2: let's watch, that also means they're just.
- 59:36Speaker 10: Trying to bang.
- 59:37Speaker 6: It does mean that.
- 59:38Speaker 7: But ladies, here's how you take back control. You can
- 59:40Speaker 7: do that if you want. I'm not against it. If
- 59:42Speaker 7: you go do that and you don't bang him, you've
- 59:45Speaker 7: reclaimed the power. Right, They're gonna waste his time. He's
- 59:48Speaker 7: gonna be upset.
- 59:50Speaker 2: But why would you go into it. You're gonna waste
- 59:52Speaker 2: his time.
- 59:52Speaker 7: Because he wants He only wants to bang. He's not interested.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Why would you say no to that date?
- 59:56Speaker 1: Like, no game?
- 59:58Speaker 2: Right exactly?
- 59:59Speaker 7: Maybe you're bored?
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so what would you what would you give that
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: going to their place? Two out of ten, But for
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: some women they can pull it off. Other Yeah, I
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: think the other ones were like the uh, you know,
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: physical activity, swimming, gym classes, things like that. On the
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: flip side, the best options for a date again normal
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: by the numbers, grabbing coffee, going for a walk.
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: That stupid eighty years old.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I put that bird with with hike. Yeah, people like
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: to love to go hiking.
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: Like you shouldn't do that if you're in a senior center.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I like something like a duck pond and you're walking around.
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: That's okay, sorry, Greg Gay.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I mean if you wonder man, this guy is definitely
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: my pants.
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: You want.
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: Pond and look at ducks. It's not just love that.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Yeah, he's ducks.
- 1:00:51Speaker 15: If you came prepared with the bread and surprisers bread
- 1:00:53Speaker 15: to feed the ducks, I would be still psyched.
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: Sim there's a certain demographic now would be into.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Going after dinner. We talked about grabbing drinks at the bar,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: talked about that going to a museum or an art
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: gallery if it's a cool music Craig.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I think museum would be cool.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Yes, if it's a good museum, because you're always again,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: you're always talking about something totally. You got new stimulation
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: all the time.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: You could see paintings, see artifacts.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: They met their boyfriend at a Woody show event.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: What do you think about that?
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: If you go to an event where you're both into
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: the same thing, both the listeners of the show.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: You what he proposed to his wife at a Woody
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Show event broadcast? Well, there was, Yeah, that was strategic, right.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: That was only because of her parents. That wasn't romantic
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: her parents would have it wasn't It wasn't about the event.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: It was because her parents. She's so close to her parents,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: and I knew it would be cool for her to
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: be able to have them, like, uh, experience it or
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: they couldn't be there for it, but for them to
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: be able to like listen in on it. So I
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: knew we were doing a broadcast from this thing where
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: she was going to be right like we were, you know,
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: doing the long distance dating thing, and so that was
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: an opportunity for them to be able to hear it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: So they were streaming the broadcast.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: They know that.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I told him, Yeah, I told him that happened because
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I asked the dad. You know, I did that whole
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: thing because I knew that would be important to her.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: So they were did they go? So they weren't at
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: the broadcast.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: They weren't have to know because it was like the
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: stations like Christmas uh concert event that we were doing.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: And but I mean, you know, I just didget. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: knew that was gonna be something that was uh you
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: know streaming all yeah, right, yeah, it would it would
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: be cool from before and all that. Exactly what he was.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: There was.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Super important.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: It was very very cool.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: All Right, we'll take a break. Thank you, Morgan, thanks
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: for having me. Yeah, anything else that was just number one,
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: the number ones on the list that you had that
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: we didn't cover, ideas that we didn't I.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Will I will say going to a nightclub is not
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: the worst idea.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: No, I'm looking for the bad ones. I'm trying. I'm
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: trying to get the ones out there that you know,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: maybe people should bad ones.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Zero aquarium. I don't like that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:03:25Speaker 16: Maybe if you're ten, if you're ten on a day
- 1:03:32Speaker 16: animals clinic, maybe not such a hot place.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: You just looking for just looking for an opportunity for
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: us to really make sure that we're both clean going
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: into this, right.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Not a bad idea?
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: Guys, do that?
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: Give me your paperwork when.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: He shows next time, show.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Show.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: All right, welcome back.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: We had a Morgan giving us her ratings on a
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: scale of one to ten and best and worst ideas
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: for first dates, things, things that the things that you
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: can do there. Yeah, we're going to try to find
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: dumb ass Tyler and we're going to try to find menji,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: a first dake, a first date. Well, SeaBASS is not
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: going to get married. Yeah, I don't think mine.
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: You don't want to be a coun I don't think
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: my forever woman who is in the listening audience.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Right now, Oh yeah, Like what does that mean?
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: I think she's just you know, maybe she's in medical
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: school or complete not school, but completing her you know,
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: in residency or something like that.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: You know, he has somebody's specific in mind.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: She has her, she has this like something else going
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: on in life, bigger and better things. Yeah, I've been
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: listening to this show.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: So are you, uh, this is somebody you' currently No? No, no, no,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I told you I'm not in a not in a relationship.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Is there somebody you're targeting? I mean I feel like.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I know somebody is.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Currently dating Scooter Braun, but you're just holding out.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: You clid to be an expert of dating and slamming
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: and things like this slamming short, but what what what
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: is some of it? What have you found to be
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: some of the best and worst ideas when it comes
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: to like at least the first date. I think Greg
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: and I are on the right page.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: You want something that is is active but not too active,
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: that is intellectually stimulating but doesn't take up all your attentions.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: You can still converse, and so things like the museum
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: a fun music not a boring, crappy.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: What's a fun museum.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Like a city museum kind of thing.
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: Stuff is I think more interesting than just walking around.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: The louver old boring paintings, were oil paintings or some
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: of those boring interactive museum.
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: Natural history is always fun.
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: That's stuff explored.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Times like the kind yeah, where you could do like
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: science experience, Okay, stuff like that thank you planetarium type stuff.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: Yeah, and Morgan, we're kind of trailing off on this,
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: but I think Morgan's obviously she's being honest about her opinions,
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: but I think they're still heavily tinged by how we
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: met Morgan, which she's got a bit of a club
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: rat in her still. Yeah, So when she says I
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: want to go to a nightclub, and Morgan, you didn't
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: really explain why nightclubs are important for you because it
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: shows you what about the guy.
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: Well, I haven't been in a while, I'll say that.
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: But if you take a man, or he takes you
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: to a nightclub for the first date, it's a good
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: judge of if he's in the streets right, if he
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: knows the people like the model service girls, or if
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: he gets in and doesn't have to pay expert a
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: good thing. That's a bad thing.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: Oh it's bad.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: I mean, if you want to be a club rat forever,
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: that's good. But he's going to have twenty other club
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: rats on his post.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: So you've paid attention to everything that she said. The
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: thing that she keeps on bringing up is finding out
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: if he's talking to other people. That seems to be
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: the most important thing to you.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: It is because I think the world we live in now,
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: it's so hard to have that trust that they're not
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: cheating on you or talking to someone.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: That what Menister is also saying there is it's very
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: revealing of the types of guys she's even talking to
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: to begin with.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: That doesn't that doesn't even.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: Enter mind, because she's not changing your environment to get
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: away from those type of guys.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: She's afraid when you when you when you really like again,
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: I'll give complete kudos and props to Sammy here when
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: you don't even but that's not even anything.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: You're even on this on your radar. It's not a concern. Yeah,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: you're not exposed to it for the club.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: Like it's like I want a guy who doesn't know
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: where the club is.
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: I don't have to touch him on that because I
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: know it's nothing in his world whatsoever. And the thing
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: goes for me as a guy, I know that's that's
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: nothing in her world whatsoever, because that's just problems and
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: drama and it's a whole world. I don't want to
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: be involved.
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: But it's still fun though.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Sometimes Again, here's something like certain professions team seem to
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: attract certain people or personalities, right, Like what's a profession
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: you'd never date? They were asking people that, and chef
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: is always at the top of the list, and ask
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: you that question because they're working at night on the weekends,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: they're always you know, that's right. You know I've heard
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: those stories a ton, Like everybody's just like slamming, commercial pilot, surgeon,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: police officer, firefighter, all those professions give the people in
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: them like this, like you know, uh complex, because you
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: know they're holding people's safety in the palm of their hands.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: They have that kind of like hero Yeah.
- 1:08:29Speaker 14: And also everyone and everyone besides the surgeon. You don't
- 1:08:32Speaker 14: know where they're you can't find them.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I'm saying like when, because what they did is they
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: asked a ton of people this stuff and then they
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: compared it to other They Hey, what profession would you
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: not date and why? And then you start finding out
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: about these kind of like, uh, these personality things. I
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: don't professions, the hero complex. I think it's you know
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: a lot of people are like a god complex.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: No.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: No, I think a lot of people are attracted to
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: people that are in suits, right, like a police uniforms
- 1:08:58Speaker 5: and so they so, yeah, they get more options and a.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Commercial pilot with again props to what are here? Things
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: are just those are responsible boy scout boring people. I
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: mean I would love to date a pilot.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: No.
- 1:09:10Speaker 15: I would say those jobs specifically are odd hours away
- 1:09:15Speaker 15: a lot.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: And you hear about like uh, pilots and flight at
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: tenants and stuff on layout like that's like there's going
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: a lot of party. I did I did see something
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: uh just the other day, I know, I just texted
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: to my wife and I'm like, wow, uh yeah. Top
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: five sexiest male jobs. Number one is pilot. Number five
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: is TV or radio presenter.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I'm like.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: That, double dipping the hottest guy ever.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Professions you should never date influencers, teachers, politician, lawyer, Well,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: teachers just because they're poor and stupid. Well says, for
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: some reason, it's drama filled. It's a drama filled and
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: toxic profession, and teachers are drama hungry. That's what they Again,
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: I'm passing the information on this is my take on it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: Why not a lawyer.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: They are trained to pick apart arguments and they do
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: the same in their relationships. I could see that.
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: Good money.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: I think it depends on the type of lawyer, like,
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: you know, yeah, sure, trial lawyers. Sure, my dad tax attorney.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: He is so boring. Yeah, and not like a public defender.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: They don't make much right.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Also on the list of stand up comic, yeah, they're.
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: Always they're always on, they're always traveling, they're angry.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Yes, is too many of the interviews stand up as
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: a replacement for therapy. There you go, and the pay
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: is only good if you're one of the top comics.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: And if you listen to a podcast the amount of
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: STDs they said they've had this in.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Here's a random one. The profession you shouldn't date palaeontologist
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: why says the work takes them away for months at
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: a time and museum pay is crap. Jones Show be
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: thinking about this because we have the topic coming up
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: this hour what did your dog eat that you ended
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: up at the vet? What did your dog eat that
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: you ended up at the vet? That's coming up this
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: hour here.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: On the show.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: You'll be able to call in with your story. I
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: was watching some videos online and it was just video
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: after video of dogs of the vet and the things
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: that they were retrieving, like they went right down the
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: throat and pulled like like a full pair of leggings
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: like Lulu Lemons.
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: Like it's a yeah, now, how did you physically swallow
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: that your dog?
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: An alligator?
- 1:11:31Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Is your dog ever thrown up after eating? And it's
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: just a perfectly intact meal like ew right on the floor.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like they didn't even didn't what the ball
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: for him. I mean, if you're.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Sometimes you have a massive dog, is it thrown up
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: and it's just like there's the little pieces of carrot,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: there's the meat, it's all perfectly.
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: Sometimes they want to re eat it.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: It's the kibble that like hip usually does. The other
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: thing that drives us nuts is like she'll be eating
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: and then the Amazon delivery comes and they ring the
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: doorbell and she has a mouthful of food and she's
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: now barking and running towards the door and full kibble
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: bias of the like again, it's like she exploded.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Shoot up.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, Uh, we have your stories on that coming up.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: What did your dog eat that you ended up in
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: the vet. We're gonna get to that. But we do
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: have Sea Bass here with some dugan news. Yes, so
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: this is a nice little lead into our.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: Top sweet stories of really little angels Earth, our dugans,
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: our little babies.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: They're mirror babies.
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: And we'll start in Florida via CBS Chicago. For some
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: reason of a of a little dog who went out
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: with its very older owner.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Okay, just.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: The strong husband called the Sheriff's department in Okaloosa County
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: to find his eighty six year old wife, who was
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: miss after the dog for a walk.
- 1:13:01Speaker 11: She never takes morning.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Fifteen minutes.
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Devin knew gets in her cars to search.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Here's the dogs.
- 1:13:12Speaker 8: Hi, Hey, where's the lot stood?
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: And the dogs leads her straight to the woman who
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: had fallen on the sun and couldn't get up. He
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: wouldn't leave him coming back to me.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: He ran up to my car and I said, bring
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: me to your mommy, and he ran back.
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: Here he come up to your car.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: A sweet good boy.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: The woman is recovery thanks to her four legged hero.
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: I'm not even he is over on his grandmother.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Oh, good boy, you're so good.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: It's just.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I kept waiting for the part where like the dog
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: went and got help, and then when they came back,
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: the dog killed the woman.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: That's terrible.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: It's typically how these news stories from sea bask.
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: I think I said, angels on Earth, our little babies.
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: You stayed with the grandma kept coming back to the
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: Is it wrong that I'm slightly disappointed?
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: God?
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: You guys are will We've been trained to expect.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: It's nice a terrible stories are coming up?
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: Are man's best friend grandma's best friend? Did you even
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: know they.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: Might be your little Horsey's best friend? From ko A seven,
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: the pit bull attacks a horse.
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: Supporter.
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: Amberley tells us how the horse is doing and what
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: the dog's owner is pledging.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: I know, Okay, wait, pile pimple attacks like a regular
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: sized horse. Usually they love babies, but full size so
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: really hard. Who won.
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: Full size?
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Dumbas Tyler, You're like wagering on stuff. Who would you say? Who?
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Who is the horse? Okay?
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Or is it I'm going to say that this horse
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: kicked that pit bull in the face with a time.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Like okay, it got put down? Yeah, money, I don't know.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: I heard a story at one point. I think it
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: was Greg Lloyd who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: had like those bull masteps or whatever, and it killed
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: the neighbor's horse. Yeah, that's a bull mastive, which is
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: bigger than may have just lost. Not as violent blood though.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Bull masses, Yeah, they kill people and they can't be discouraged.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Like once this time they're going to kill they they
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: you know, that's where the whole time like a pit
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: bull horse. Yeah right, let's go back to the store horse.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: Action seven News reporter Amberlee tells us how the horse
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: is doing and what the dog's owner is pledging. It's
- 1:15:51Speaker 9: been a rough couple of days for this thirteen year
- 1:15:53Speaker 9: old horse named Gators. It was viciously attacked by a
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: pit bull Sunday afternoon. Pit bull bit the horse between
- 1:15:59Speaker 9: the back legs and then on the neck, pulling the
- 1:16:01Speaker 9: horse to the ground. You can still see dry blood
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: and horse hair on Rudy and Patty Pino's property. So
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: Patty was riding Gaiter when the dog attacked, but she
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: was not hurt. Her husband says he tried to kick
- 1:16:13Speaker 9: the dog off his horse, pushing it away before he
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: pulled out his shotgun.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: What happened there?
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: Lindsay County Animal Control has now filed charges against the
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: Piples owner, Jasmine Baka.
- 1:16:24Speaker 12: I am extremely sorry for any damage that my dog
- 1:16:29Speaker 12: caused toot their animals. My husband and I are willing
- 1:16:31Speaker 12: to work with the owners of the horse to provide
- 1:16:35Speaker 12: compensations for the damages to stupid wouldn't.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Be crazy, Like the horse is named Gator, but the
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: pit poll that attacked its name by the princess or
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: something just acious attack.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: It wasn't a gentle attack.
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: Guys, there was a silver lining there.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: When's the last time you heard a sorry and like
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: apologetic pitpole?
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm willing to pay money. Oh wow, this
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: really goes against all. That's why it's due, you said.
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: Nanny dog.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: So wait, the horses alive?
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: I won, right, yeah, you won?
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: Yeah I did it.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Did bring it to the ground, didn't, didn't kick it? Well,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: yeah yeah it lived. Got Dougan news all right, So.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: That surprised one of the trillion pitpo owner. That's a
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: nice decent person. Eventually, let's see if one who brought
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: their their pitbull on the train in New York City
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: is the same way.
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: Commuter circle around with the pit bull its teeth tightly
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: clenched around a woman.
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: It was around three pm Friday on the four train
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: approaching Wall Street.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: Tay C.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: King says it all started when the dog owner sat
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: his pit bull on the seat next to the woman.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: She's like, the dog don't belong on the sea. He's like,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: I'm not moving on dog.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: She pushes it. What is the dog doing on the chair?
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: He's just He's like, yo, do not push my dog.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: She does it one more time and he just goes swinging,
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: of course, and he's jumping on her. But she moves
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: back and that's when he catches hold of her shoe
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: and he was not letting it go. Other writers keep
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: their distance as the owner wrestles the dog off, fights collar.
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: Them, throws the woman's shoe back at.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Her because at the same time, you want to help her,
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: but you don't want the dog to turn on you.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Just he never told the dog to let her go.
- 1:18:22Speaker 12: At all.
- 1:18:22Speaker 9: The MTA says it allows dogs on subway cars, but
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: they must be contained to a carrying case. A spokesperson
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: told us the video is disturbing and a clear violation
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: of our rules.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Big dogs are not supposed to be on the train.
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: It's yeah, you can't. You can't find a container that
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: contained that.
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: She pushed the dog, so yeah, that's her first.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: I'm team dog on this one because look, don't start
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: no issh, won't be no it.
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, So it was her fault. She
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: pushed the dog. The dog responded the second the lady
- 1:18:55Speaker 6: you heard second secondarily was obviously more street smart. I
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: don't care what this pitbull is doing. You touch it,
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: you could lose it your whole life. Yeah did you?
- 1:19:02Speaker 10: More than She's like, nobody ever told this dog to stop.
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: I got hear a shoeback at it. Thank you CBS
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: New York for that.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: We have a time for one more story Dugan News.
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: All right, so not the friends there, but Dugan's are
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: friends of our of our friendly neighborhood postal carriers.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: We all know this, legendary relationships.
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: Let's go to ABC San Diego for this one.
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: Just a pit bull clamped onto his throat as he
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: was delivering the mail.
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: Horrific, terrifying second of my life.
- 1:19:35Speaker 8: But now two weeks later the classic surgeon who showed
- 1:19:38Speaker 8: me up said that if he had gone any deeper.
- 1:19:42Speaker 11: It might have been fatal.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: One reason that did decever and artery was this training
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: session ten whos covered last December, where postal workers were
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: told their first line of defense against a dog attack
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: is their male pouch.
- 1:19:56Speaker 16: This dog got part of this handle and that out
- 1:20:00Speaker 16: save one life hit the handle.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Not yet back to work. He's still healing from multiple injuries,
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: including his knee and shoulder, but especially that neck.
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: Will Chillo to a pottery game because I don't want
- 1:20:15Speaker 6: to put myself in a position where I get too excited. Yeah,
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: someone offer him free Padre tickets and he said I don't.
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: I don't want get two.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, stir up that neck.
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: I gotta get to sell them. That delivering junk mail.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Right right out locking eight seven seven forty four, Woody,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: right to the neck, text us over to two to
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: nine eight seven. What did your dog eat and you
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: ended up at the vet? People are already texting in.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: You can give us a call again eight seven seven
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: forty four. What do you share your story with us
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: on his prize for horse?
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, the neighbor's horse stuck in the hit us up
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: with the text over to two two nine eight seven, No,
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Woody show text in seven.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: So the most common things that pets swallow and vet
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: bills behind them. Chocolate tops the list for dogs because
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: even small amounts can be toxic for them. You know,
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: the average of vet bill for treating dogs who try
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: to eat it is eleven hundred dollars.
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: Yeah, damn, shout out to pet insurance man.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so what did what did your dog eat and
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: you ended up at the vet? Eight seven seven forty four, Woody.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: That's eight seven seven forty four, Woody. Chocolate's number one.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: More than the quarter of the vet visits for dogs.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: Swallowing something is from candy or chocolate.
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: So how deadly is it? Because they say it's like
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: poison but they all they seem to survive.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Well, it's because well, I guess it depends on it
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: must the amounts vomiting, right, the amount and did you
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: get that out of out of their system? There is
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: a lot of people, because I'm going through on the text,
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: and a lot of people talk about, you know, getting
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: the the dog's stomach pumped, or have you.
- 1:22:10Speaker 10: Seen the videos horrible of them pulling something out of
- 1:22:14Speaker 10: their butts?
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Got we got some of that stuff in here too.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: I was watching again these videos on Instagram kept popping
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: up and there was one like montage of a bunch
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: of different ones, and the one video was crazier, the
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: next crazier the next, because like how the whole sweaters on?
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: How did you do that? So twice twice we had
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: to bring the dog down to the vet and they
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: gave her something these drops in her eyes which made
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: her throw up. I think I told you about that,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: you did? I thought that was so weird because I
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: wasn't there. My wife, My wife is the one that
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: I had brought the dog down. Was that the panties.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: One was a pair of panties, and then I remember
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: one was the casing of a baseball, right, Yeah, she
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: she shoot the leather cover off of a baseball, so
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: it was just left with the twine and the string.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: And uh, we're like, what happened to the cover, And
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: we're like, oh, and then sure enough, you know, they
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: brought it on the vet, gave her the drops of
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: the eyes and there comes the cover of the baseball.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: That drop so bad, I do that one makes at
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: least a little sense because the leather was made.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: You know, dolls, dogs choose on, chew on, you know, balls,
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: tennis ball things like you.
- 1:23:30Speaker 14: Always hear them like trying to eat the crotch out
- 1:23:33Speaker 14: of like underwear and pants.
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: What's going on there?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: We were cleaning out this uh, this couch where the
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: kids sit and they play you know, PlayStation. They're in
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: there watching their YouTube videos. And we pulled the couch
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: out and my daughter had thrown a bunch of rappers
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: back there. And that's what you really find out the caulprits.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: You know, it's like they were always empty, Like guys,
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: the trash goes in the trash right, not just behind
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: the catch. And eventually I guess those will be used condoms.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely So about six years ago living in
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: a house with a bunch of roommates. One of them
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: had a baby. My dog loved this baby. Well. One
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: day the dog was acting very sick. Took him to
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: the emergency pet hospital. Turns out the dog had swallowed
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: the baby's pacifier. Oh my god, abdominal surgery. Yeah, and
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: they had to remove some in testines.
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: That sucks. Hospital for two weeks twenty two thousand dollars.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: This one time our dog got into a chicken carcass
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: like an old Costco chicken that we threw away in
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: the trash. Unbeknownst to us that it was rotted with maggots,
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: and so the dog for three days was throwing up
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: maggots and crapping out maggots. It was the most horrible
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: thing ever house. My dog Willow swallowed a corn cob
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: hole and was yelping as it was going down its
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: throat and had to have surgery to have it removed.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Baby.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: This person's dog ate a barbie's head. This one six
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: dog ate my used menstrual disc had to take him
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: to a vet. This one says, my five pound dog
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: ate a pebble turned out to be a ten grand pebble. Surgery.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Oh my godd, he's so small he couldn't pass the pebble,
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: and of course immediately paid for it. No question, Menace
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: has met him along with our French schie. Oh okay,
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: ye oh he got frenchie money, so ten grand pebnish.
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: My dog ate my niece's panties, mainly the crotch, and
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: there were little bits of pink fabric in her poop
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: for about a week. She also ate a tampon once.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: She's a poonhm thankfully unused one. This one my dog
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: once crapped out a turd shaped like a hot topic
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: bag and just the face of a little Hello kitty
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: figure nine nine grapes that littleor ate an entire ball,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: paid eight hundred dollars to pump his stomach and do
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: some blood work. Yeah, grapes or another one on Christmas
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: My eighteen blueberries they can eat. On Christmas Eve, my
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: eighteen pound dog ate an entire pound of chocolate truffles
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: that was in a wrapped box under the Christmas tree
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: that I didn't know was chocolate. Had to get their
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: stomach punch.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: My animal ate through cell phone chargers, shirts, shoelaces, got
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: a pair of shoelaces that were pink, and after she
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: took a poo, was running around with something pink sticking
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: out of her butt. I thought her intestines were coming
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: out and I was chasing it around the house. Long
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: story short, don't put anything that's already Oh yeah, don't
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: put on anything that's already inside your pad. You can
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: harm them. Oh like, don't pull on it, Like, don't
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: pull I see, okay, I was saying, what yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: they were like shoe strings or something that.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: They don't Yeah, so you're not supposed to pull that.
- 1:26:47Speaker 10: Well, it's like if you.
- 1:26:48Speaker 14: Get a knife you're stabling, you're not supposed to pull
- 1:26:50Speaker 14: it out.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: Yeah, my dog ate a rope toy impacted your stomach
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: and needed a surgery. My dog ate a b he's allergic.
- 1:27:01Speaker 10: Have you seen those pictures in their faces just totally
- 1:27:03Speaker 10: puff up.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's happened.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: My dog ate a whole direct TV remote. It was
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: a costly built but the remote was surprisingly whole, except
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: for the rubber buttons.
- 1:27:11Speaker 10: If he sits down, he changes the channel.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: Oh my dog ate the head out of our elf
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: on a shelf a week before Christmas. Oh no, how'd
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: you explain that to the kids.
- 1:27:22Speaker 14: Somebody said their dog was slowly eating a bag of stucco,
- 1:27:27Speaker 14: going back for more stucco.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: Just crapping out they left behind the garage. This is
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: more for people who the next step would be drinking
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: hand sanitized wood show. Let's put a bow on our topic.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: What did your dog eat that they ended up at
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: the vets? This one says, my brother in law had
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: to go to the emergency vet just yesterday because his
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: dog swallowed two condoms that were still in the wrapper.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: The top it off. They have two dogs and they
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: didn't know which one swallowed them, so they had to
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: take them both to get X rayed to figure out
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: which one was the mulprit. This one says, my chocolate
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: lab ate eight hundred dollars in cash, a random hole
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: into my sheet rock, ate a bed sheet, and a
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: brand new, unused pair of shoes that I hid under
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: my bed so he couldn't get to them. Well, I
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: guess that didn't work out too well. Some gore text morales.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: I guess my dog ate bottle caps from plastic water bottles.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: Of the kids were leaving in the trash and in
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: the grass. Five thousand dollars for that boo. My Wiener
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: dog ate an entire tube of icy hot and it
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: would cry every time it pooped. Oh god, it's like
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: when we ate that one chip hot mud, crying hot mud.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: This text came over to two two ninety seven. I
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: have a husky that has eaten everything from underwear and
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: socks to sea batteries that we've found in his poop.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Oh and he ate two parakeets as well. That just
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: an appetizer. Yeah, uh see, Vanessa writes in My dog
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: ate an entire family sized bag of York peppermint patties
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: with the rappers still on.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they can wrap them.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: So we gave him a hydrogen peroxide to make him vomit.
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: It all up and transported to a top of a mountain.
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: Usually the bigger dogs that are that dumb that eat
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: that kind of stuff.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: I don't know, I mean dogs, I mean yeah, all
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: dogs eat.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: Because my dogs are super picky eaters and they I
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: don't have like a story like that. I am afraid though,
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: because I do have one that's obsessed with my socks.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: And then also every time I give them like a
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: dog toy, like they're obsessed with ripping out the bee
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: hole right like immediately I dropped the I dropped the
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: toy on the ground and immediately goes for the bee hole,
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: rips it apart and gets the con now, and I'm
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: afraid that the dog will swallow.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: The cotton sweat or something.
- 1:29:53Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: Also with the dog the dogbed will rip the dog
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: bed and get the con Yeah.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because our dog will start she gets like not
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: the zoomies, but it's that same kind of thing, same time,
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: seven o'clock every night. She gets like this burst of
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: energy and she'll go over to her bed and you
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: would think she's trying to dig up something. And so
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: she's doing that where she's like just like digging with
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: the front paws. She's got her nose down in there,
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: butt straighten up in the air and just dig and
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: dig and dig and dig and dig in in her
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: bed and but nothing comes. It's just this burt no
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: not Well, eventually she gets a hole in it and
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: then they replace the bed. But usually she goes through
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: like one bet a year. But we get the cheap
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: you know, the cheap o ones get the costco right
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: exactly from costcoose they're still super comfort.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: Yeah, they only get rid of the party.
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: I leave them. They're too long and well, thank you
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: for your stories, everybody. Uh, pet insurance definitely the way
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: to go. Menas has brought up a billion times. One
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: of the most commonly asked questions, what's the pet insurance
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: that Menace has not a sponsor?
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: But they at this point they she'll be but healthy.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Pause no healthy pause, he pause.
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: I love them. I they have really no issues. It's
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: super east. You get my money back.
- 1:31:01Speaker 5: But I have heard I would like to look into
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: it that Costco does pet insurance now too. Yeah, they
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: offer some kind of pet insurance through our insurance.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: They did work.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: It was it was an option that when you were
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: doing your your elections for the new year, pet insurance.
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: I just took it just I'm like, because it wasn't expensive.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: It's something super cheap. I figured we already had it.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: It's better we didn't.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: That's the thing, Like we did.
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: Like whatever, I do get pet prescription pills at Costco
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: as well.
