- 1:35Hi Shayla I saw you last night too.

- 1:51but Buddhist got to activate the screen share.

- 2:30show. You able to share screen?
- 2:56Is it not doing it? No, he got a click, add stream
- 3:02down below. That better.
- 3:07I still don't see it on the screen for some reason I hear.
- 3:11Let's try that. All right, yeah, wouldn't let me
- 3:14do it there? Listen to some music for a few
- 3:19minutes and then we'll start the show.
- 3:35It's you got headphones are man, I think that it's blocked and it
- 3:39out or something. Let me try, let me try the
- 3:45screen share again. Then this ain't the same
- 3:48copyright, is it now? It shouldn't be okay.
- 3:54Well, at least not in a way that would get your stream taken
- 3:57down. Let me try this again.
- 4:00I guess I have to keep clicking that annoying.
- 4:02Share audio button. All right actually, I share
- 4:07audio select that. Share the There we go, two or
- 4:13three songs and then we go start the show. if more people chance
- 4:18to trickle in, Can barely hear it.
- 4:42It's not the loudest song. Yeah, I can hardly hear it, man.

- 5:08stereo wilfer's, that's weird. Four minutes.

- 7:44That's the red lights driving at night.
- 7:46When do they try feeling alive? Nothing in sight.
- 7:49Forever. Inflate.
- 7:50Follow those times were making this time blurry.
- 7:52Tree lights work is they got to memories.
- 7:55That will make it tonight but you ever make it didn't I?
- 7:59Yeah. No way.
- 8:39I don't need a guide to visit.
- 9:05They want to be that someone The screen at last, the angel, get
- 9:08inside for their needs and might they want to be liked by
- 9:10everybody in sight but dress. All right.
- 9:15I think we're done with that. Hell out of there, everybody.
- 9:19Welcome to God, TV radio, and welcome to a historic first for
- 9:25the first time ever, yours. Truly tto are is hosting the God
- 9:30TV radio live stream, Brett still here.
- 9:33As you can see to my, I guess what would be Hand side of my
- 9:38screen but maybe looks like the left to you but but yes, I'm
- 9:43hosting the show today. The show will not be as long as
- 9:47some of Brett's live streams that usually go like four to six
- 9:50hours. I plan on cutting things off and
- 9:53the two, maybe two and a half hours.
- 9:55So you won't be in for the Long Haul on this one, but we'll
- 9:59still be here a while. We'll still have plenty of time
- 10:02to talk about things. I see you commenting there, a
- 10:05damn lawyer. You asked, what is the pick?
- 10:07ASL Arts right on my wall. That is a RPG styled picture of
- 10:14Gohan from the Cell games that my sister made for me back in.
- 10:18I think, two thousand fourteen or fifteen is a Christmas
- 10:22present. She hand-painted that looks
- 10:25exactly like an RPG Maker Style video game as far as the
- 10:29character model goes. See you there.
- 10:33Shayla I see you there vehicle. Yeah, I think that's about it is
- 10:39far as the comments that I see without any further Ado.
- 10:46I guess I'll start things off by letting you know that I'm easy
- 10:51to find on the internet. I occasionally appear as a guest
- 10:55on the show but I do my own content and I do it in various
- 10:59places as matter. Fact I'll just Go ahead and
- 11:02screenshare right now, so you can see where some of those
- 11:05places are, hopefully it will show it on screen.
- 11:14There we go. Sony, make sure on my phone that
- 11:19I did this right. Looks like I did.
- 11:23Yes I did. So, that is my YouTube channel.
- 11:26Tto are very easy to find as far as what you type it in the
- 11:30search bar and got some videos up, and there's plenty for you
- 11:35to watch if you're curious to know what kind of content I make
- 11:38on my own, but YouTube is not the only place.
- 11:41I upload videos YouTube for nearly a decade.
- 11:45Now, depending on who you ask, whether it be back since 2016,
- 11:4820, 15 or even 20, 14 in some This has YouTube has been
- 11:53engaging in various kinds of censorship, usually against
- 11:56Christians, conservatives and Donald Trump supporters over the
- 12:01better part of the last several years.
- 12:03So as a precaution to myself, I decided to create channels on a
- 12:08wide variety of video, sharing sites.
- 12:11And on these other sites, I actually get better traffic than
- 12:13I do on YouTube. So, first off, there's my joshu
- 12:17TV channel, which you can see right here on the screen.
- 12:20I know the ER, of the site. Josh, she's very nice guy.
- 12:24Very much a champion of freedom of speech.
- 12:26No problems with Christians, like me posting on his sites or
- 12:30promoting the sites for that matter.
- 12:32Joshua TV much like YouTube has a lot of the features you want
- 12:36in a video sharing sites, such as HD videos live, streaming
- 12:40public playlists a free restreaming system and a whole
- 12:44lot more. It's even designed in such a way
- 12:46is that it can be used as a Content delivery system for
- 12:50sites like Roku. So, So Josh, you TV, not only.
- 12:53Am I on all these video sharing sites, I'm also on Roku and I'm
- 12:58also on Joshua radio network, which you can see in the banner
- 13:01of my joshu TV channel. I'm also on bit shoot, which is
- 13:06a fairly popular site in the alltech world.
- 13:08Although I don't advertise them, like I used to because they
- 13:12engage in a lot of the same censorship systems and policies
- 13:16and actions as YouTube now, so they're not worth promoting as a
- 13:19free speech alternative. But I do have almost 2300 Subs
- 13:24on bit shoot with put, which puts me in the top 5% of
- 13:27creators on the site which is a very, very good thing to be able
- 13:31to brag about. I'm also on YouTube which is run
- 13:35by the Utah Gun Exchange which is a pro-second Amendment
- 13:38pro-gun organization in Utah. There.
- 13:42YouTube alternative is pretty nice.
- 13:44And Slick looks good full HD video capacity, permits.
- 13:47The only thing it doesn't have is live streaming but it's a
- 13:50very good site. Learn my videos there, 159 Subs.
- 13:55If you scroll through my library, got plenty of views on
- 13:58videos and then I'm on a wide variety of social media sites,
- 14:02but the two main ones you can find me on our gab which you can
- 14:07see here on screen gabs been around since 2016.
- 14:12They used to be a free speech site but then things went her
- 14:15wonky on there in 2020 starting with when they banned brick Keen
- 14:18from their site. And then a bunch of other people
- 14:21got banned and all other kinds of shenanigans happened with
- 14:24their CEO in terms of his worldview and his hypocritical
- 14:29actions and double standards and how he runs and moderate the
- 14:32site. But I am on Gap, still where I
- 14:35have 1300 followers. So if for some reason you want
- 14:39to be on gab and follow me there, you can links in the
- 14:42description and then I'm also on getter which is a Twitter
- 14:46alternative that started up last year.
- 14:48I believe it was. Yeah.
- 14:50I was July 20 21, it's run by Jason Miller, the former
- 14:54spokesperson for Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.
- 14:58It's not bad but it's not great but I use it.
- 15:02A lot of people use it. Thanks millions of people every
- 15:05month in fact who were using it in terms of its web traffic.
- 15:08So yeah, I figured I might as well use it and so if you're not
- 15:12a big fan of Twitter and you want to Twitter alternative, to
- 15:15follow me on Getters, another good one that you can do.
- 15:19But aside from being on alt text sites myself.
- 15:23I actually jumped into the game and made my own All Tech website
- 15:28called creation social. But you can see here on screen
- 15:32creation social is an open-source Altec alternative to
- 15:37Facebook and Gap at this point and it has a lot of the same
- 15:42features you would expect to see in a Facebook or on a site like
- 15:45gab. And we also embed videos from
- 15:48various sites and to So that's a nice feature.
- 15:52Actually, I'm going to be upgrading creation, social in
- 15:54the near future, to give it even more features than it currently
- 15:58has. So when that happens in the
- 16:01future and I come back here to host a show, I'll talk about
- 16:04that more when that happens. But the other thing I'm trying
- 16:08to do right now is start my own video sharing site.
- 16:11Like, I mentioned, YouTube, bad censorship really bad.
- 16:15They do it worse than anybody, but other alt text sites like
- 16:19Eschewed and odyssey and Rumble and the whatnot.
- 16:22They all do basically the same stuff just to a lighter degree.
- 16:25And so I decided earlier this year, it's time to make my own
- 16:29YouTube alternative. I've actually been thinking
- 16:32about it since 2017 but I never had the trigger pulled as far as
- 16:37actually starting that project goes and I wanted to give other
- 16:40alt text sites of chance to do the job but they just weren't up
- 16:44to Snuff. So I'm throwing my hat in the
- 16:46ring, my sight is going to be called Here you can see on
- 16:50screen, do you give send go campaign that I have four
- 16:53quarter? We've current relased 8% of our
- 16:56two thousand dollar goal. Two thousand dollars will allow
- 17:00us to start up the site and maintain its operation for 12
- 17:03months as well as by some plugins to add new features to
- 17:07the site that are not in the default script that we're going
- 17:09to use for it, it's going to be fully developed right out of the
- 17:13bat. So we have HD videos and live
- 17:15streaming and public playlists and probably have If streaming
- 17:20and it'll have a bunch of other features that you would expect
- 17:23and want in a video sharing site.
- 17:25And I'm going to focus on making the user interface as good as
- 17:28possible because that's something people complain about
- 17:31with some of the alt text sites. So that's something I really
- 17:35want to do this year. And the quicker, we can hit this
- 17:38two thousand dollar goal, the quicker.
- 17:40I can make this happen. I basically have everything
- 17:43figured out. I got the guy to help me install
- 17:45the site. I got the server's, the hosting
- 17:47service. I got everything.
- 17:49Accept the funds needed to pull it off.
- 17:52And so if you can help make the quarter project, a reality,
- 17:56you'll find the link to the gifts and go campaign, and the
- 17:59description box below. And I also have a flatter
- 18:02account set up for quarter so that you can do a one-time or
- 18:05monthly tip or donation everywhere, every penny of that
- 18:09will definitely go into the project as well.
- 18:11So whether it's through Gibson to go or through flattered, if
- 18:15you want to donate to the quarter project to make it a
- 18:18reality, you can do. So today or whenever you're able
- 18:21to do, so if you're able to do so I don't want to be the cause
- 18:26of anybody going broken being homeless, on the streets because
- 18:30they wanted to support me and TT.
- 18:33You are got a question about the project that you're working on.
- 18:36Do you do you plan on doing what old YouTube used to do?
- 18:40Because I noticed, nobody oocytes adopted this one.
- 18:43I think it would be a success. Allow people to post a video
- 18:47responses underneath people's videos.
- 18:49YouTube used to do that. And that was really successful
- 18:53cause real interaction and engagement.
- 18:57Yeah, I kind of remember that, and I know you've talked about
- 19:00in past videos, unfortunately, that would not be available
- 19:04right off the bat. But it would definitely be
- 19:06something that we would work on installing in the future.
- 19:10The nice part about the script that we're going to use, which
- 19:12is called a video, is that there's a whole community of
- 19:16developers behind it. So all I have to do is go to
- 19:19them and talk to them and see if they can build such a thing and
- 19:23if they can they will. And when they do, they will be
- 19:26on the That easy. But anyway, let me set up some
- 19:32stuff for the next little segment.
- 19:34I want to do before we bring in other people to talk or invite
- 19:38them to talk. Is there anything you want to
- 19:41say? Well I'm bringing everything up.
- 19:44Well I noticed that Ryan the Presbyterian out there, you said
- 19:47he called me this weekend, the phone number, I give out to
- 19:50people is a Google voice thing. So I have to actually have the
- 19:55browser open in order to receive calls unless you leave a
- 19:58message. Usually call people back after
- 20:02they said, they'd give me a time that's good for them to contact
- 20:06them. And of course people, if you
- 20:08want to start filing in the link is out there to join and this is
- 20:12what these shows are for to give you guys the ability to have
- 20:15discussion with the host. Okay?
- 20:19And making sure I got everything set up.
- 20:21Okay, I need one more. Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo
- 20:24doo-doo-doo-doo-doo, let's see. That's the thing about them.
- 20:29Bible verses got to bring up the same website over and over again
- 20:34just to enter different verses but I'm already there.
- 20:38Okay, I believe I am ready. Brett.
- 20:42So earlier today, I did a video responding to a video put out by
- 20:48David Falk about Genesis 11:26 but I figured since more than
- 20:53one older Nation is to uses his argument.
- 20:55We take a few minutes before we invite people in to join us for
- 21:00a public discussion. I'd take a little bit of time to
- 21:03talk about the argument in general.
- 21:07So the argument stems from Genesis chapter 11 because
- 21:12holder of creationist in general don't like straightforward
- 21:15contextual readings of Genesis or any other parts of the Bible
- 21:19and the Torah and we're going to go ahead and screen share What?
- 21:24I have pulled up entire thing, right?
- 21:28Come on. There we go.
- 21:31Let's make sure everything's good on my end.
- 21:35Slight delay here. It's right, have to add it.
- 21:43That's such a pesky thing. Okay, there we go.
- 21:47So we have here on screen, Genesis 11:26, which says that
- 21:52Tara was 70 years old, when he became the father of Abram,
- 21:56nahor and haran are not her on the heron He came back, one
- 22:00confused, the other word. And then in Genesis 11 32, it
- 22:05says that Terah lived 205 years and he died in her on correct
- 22:09pronunciation of that word. And then in Genesis 12 for it
- 22:13says, the Abram was 75 years old when he set out from her on now,
- 22:17with a lot of old Earth creationist tend to do is they
- 22:21will say that Abram left her on to go to Canaan with his family
- 22:26at God's command after Tara died at the age.
- 22:30Of 205. And so what they do is they say,
- 22:34well, 205 - 75 equals 130. Therefore, when Abram was born
- 22:41Tara was really 130 years old and not 70 years old, like the
- 22:46verse on screen plainly says. Now the problem I have with this
- 22:52methodology that they employ is that they are rejecting the
- 22:56straightforward reading of Genesis 11:26.
- 23:00But accepting the straightforward reading of
- 23:02Genesis 11:32 even though they're the same chapter in
- 23:07their written in the same style of writing, they've literally
- 23:11have to pick and choose which scripture they want to believe
- 23:14in which they want to reject a based on their preference.
- 23:17They're not actually accepting it as it is and the other
- 23:21problem I have with this methodology is that it can just
- 23:25as easily be applied to Abraham and cause all kinds of problems
- 23:29with multiple Says in Genesis because there are multiple
- 23:32places in Genesis where Abraham is said to be at different ages
- 23:36when he's doing different events.
- 23:39So let's see what I mean by this.
- 23:41Terah died at the age of 205. He was 70 years old when Abram
- 23:46was born. So technically 205 - 70 equals
- 23:51135 so Abraham should have been a hundred and thirty-five years
- 23:56old if older of creationists are right and say that a Abram left
- 24:01haran and went to Canaan after Tara died.
- 24:04Obviously we see in Genesis 12 for that Abram was 75 years old.
- 24:10So if we're going to apply the methodology of old Earth
- 24:13creationist, we have to conclude that Genesis 12 for cannot be
- 24:17taken. At face value, we have to
- 24:19conclude that Abram was 135 years old and that 75 years old
- 24:24when he left her and to go to Canaan, but the fun doesn't stop
- 24:28there Genesis 17 1 through 2 says the Abram was 99 years old.
- 24:33When God appeared to him, made the Covenant with him and change
- 24:37his name to Abraham and then promised him that the next year,
- 24:40his son Isaac would be born. Well if we're going to apply
- 24:43that methodology consistently, we have to conclude that Abraham
- 24:46was 159 years old, not 99 years old.
- 24:50When this whole thing, went down in Genesis 17, furthermore
- 24:54Genesis 21 5 says, Point Blank that Abraham was 100 years old.
- 24:58When the son Isaac was born. Born to him.
- 25:00Well, once again, we must apply that methodology consistently
- 25:04across the board. And we must assume that Abraham
- 25:07was actually 160 years old and not a hundred years old when
- 25:11Isaac was born. Now, a lot of a lot of old
- 25:15Earth, creationists would, probably look at the argument.
- 25:17They just made and disagree with my conclusion and disagree with
- 25:21how I added 60 years to the age of Abraham in Genesis 12 for and
- 25:27yeah Genesis 12 for Genesis 17:1 through And Genesis 21 5, but
- 25:33I'm applying the same methodology.
- 25:34They are in the exact same way. I just applied it to Abraham and
- 25:38not cetera. So I feel that best exposes the
- 25:42Folly of what they're teaching. And so, as the young Earth
- 25:47creationist, who actually believes the Bible, it's
- 25:49actually pretty easy to resolve the issue that Boulder of
- 25:52creationists, bring up Tara was 70.
- 25:55When Abram was born, Abram was 75, when he left her.
- 26:00Ron went to Canaan 70 + 75 equals 145.
- 26:04So obviously Tara was 145 years old, when Abram left her on to
- 26:10go to Canaan with his family. Furthermore Tara's not listed as
- 26:15among the people who went with Abram to Canaan and it says that
- 26:19Terah died in haran at the age of 205.
- 26:22So it's pretty obvious that he spent the last 60 years of his
- 26:26life in her on after Abram. And furthermore, this means that
- 26:33he was alive during the events of Genesis 17 and Genesis 21.
- 26:39So that's the way I respond to arguments like this, that are
- 26:42made by older of creationists about the genealogies.
- 26:45In Genesis, it's pretty easy to refute.
- 26:49And their methodology is pretty arbitrary and they make
- 26:52assertions that just aren't there in scripture and they
- 26:56don't read the text carefully. And so that's how I tend to do.
- 27:00Deal with stuff like this when it comes up like I did earlier
- 27:03today. So, now that I've gotten through
- 27:07this little bit that I wanted to share, I'm going to go ahead and
- 27:11make the make the time that we have left open to anyone who
- 27:15wants to talk the link to our studio is in the description box
- 27:20below. If you're watching this on
- 27:22YouTube, and if you're watching this on joshu TV, you'll have to
- 27:26come to Brent Keynes YouTube channel, which we actually look
- 27:32up. What?
- 27:32That's what that's called. Again because he's had different
- 27:36names at different times. Is channel is called God TV
- 27:41radio live podcast show by Brett Keen.
- 27:45You should be able to find it pretty easily if you go to
- 27:47YouTube. And I'll just go ahead and wait
- 27:51for anyone that wants to join in studio.
- 27:56And I cor have you always been a young Earth?
- 27:58Creationist are, did you originally started out old
- 28:01Earth? I originally started out older,
- 28:04because matter of fact, I was older up until who I forget,
- 28:10when in 2014 The Bill Nye Ken Ham debate happened.
- 28:13But I think it was earlier in that year, I saw that debate.
- 28:17It was the first time I was really exposed to Arguments for
- 28:20young Earth creationism. And so after that I went and
- 28:24looked up, you know, The arguments that young Earth
- 28:27creationists make, as far as the Bible goes, to justify their
- 28:31belief. And what I found is that their
- 28:33belief was taken straight from the Bible and was 100% congruent
- 28:38with a straightforward and contextual reading.
- 28:41And even before that point, I always prided myself on being a
- 28:45Bible believer. And to me, if you can prove
- 28:48something is taught in the Bible, when it's read in a
- 28:51straightforward and contextual Manner and you can prove it, I
- 28:54will accept it if it off. Checks out.
- 28:56And so that's how I became a young Earth creationist was
- 28:59through the biblical, scriptural, arguments that they
- 29:02made, and then, of course, over time I, you know, looked into
- 29:07scientific arguments and whatnot that they do.
- 29:10And I started watching, you know, old Earth creationists and
- 29:14evolutionists atheist content responding to that over the
- 29:17years. But as far as my conversion to
- 29:20Young Earth creationism, it happened in my mid-20s and it
- 29:23was a Bible issue and it wasn't a a science issue.
- 29:27But that doesn't mean I'm afraid of science or afraid to talk
- 29:30about it. My knowledge of science is not
- 29:33as good as the knowledge that a lot of other young Earth
- 29:36creationist Ministries and individual young Earth
- 29:39creationist apologist have. But the bid I dunno, I'm pretty
- 29:43Rock Solid on and other things that you've read.
- 29:46Tto are what was, what do you would you say was three top
- 29:52things that really sparked it off or you aren't On young
- 29:56Earth. Well the number two genealogies
- 30:00and the time spans provided by Genesis Exodus.
- 30:03And First Kings chapter 6, verse 1 was a pretty good start but
- 30:08then there are other things like Jesus in the gospels
- 30:11specifically in Matthew, 19 and Mark 10 claiming to well he
- 30:17claimed that male-female in marriage were created at the
- 30:20beginning of creation. And the reason why I knew we
- 30:23know this is because in those passages, he specifically said,
- 30:28At the beginning of creation, God, and then he gave a direct
- 30:31quote of Genesis 1:27, which was the creation of male and female
- 30:36followed up by a direct quote, of Genesis 2:24, which is the
- 30:40creation of marriage. So, by quoting those two
- 30:44passages back-to-back and preceding them with the phrase,
- 30:47in the beginning of creation. God, that proved to me.
- 30:52And two, I think any same logical reader but doesn't try
- 30:55to reinterpret things. That Jesus believed that Adam
- 31:00and Eve and marriage were created at the beginning of
- 31:02creation. And this is a claim that can
- 31:05only be factually. True.
- 31:07If young Earth creationism is timeline of history is true
- 31:10because it's the young Earth creationism.
- 31:12Timeline of history that actually has their creation at
- 31:16the beginning of the timeline of History, whereas in Old Earth,
- 31:20creationism timelines, whether it be de-aged Theory or Gap
- 31:24Theory, they have the creation of Adam Eve and marriage.
- 31:28Created towards the end of the billions of years timeline.
- 31:32So that to me when Jesus teaches that male and female and
- 31:36marriage were created beginning of creation, that is pretty
- 31:40strong evidence of young. Earth creationism is
- 31:42truthfulness coming straight from the mouth of Jesus, and so,
- 31:45that was another argument. That was really persuasive to
- 31:49me, because it's right there in the Bible.
- 31:52I don't have to guess it's right there.
- 31:55Remember people, there's links out there in the comments as
- 31:59well description if you'd like to come in and have a discussion
- 32:02like that Olivia, Olivia School. Hi, there you are.
- 32:08Let me see if I can. Okay, that's better for now.
- 32:13What's up Olivia? I just thought I would call in.
- 32:17I don't know what I can add about the you know, the
- 32:19discussion you were having earlier But you know, maybe I'm
- 32:22good. Well, if you want to add
- 32:25something on that you can. If there's anything else you
- 32:27want to talk about. We're open to that.
- 32:29Well, I mean as far as a, you know, it's hard, I don't want to
- 32:33be very dismissive of. So I want to be applied person
- 32:36but it's hard to not, at least for my perspective to have a
- 32:40respectful discussion with a young Earth creationist.
- 32:45Why is this thing that I find the idea of far-fetched to the
- 32:49point where it seems like make And that's a defensive thing to
- 32:53say, to someone who truly believes that, I just can't
- 32:56relate enough to have a discussion, do you know what I
- 32:59mean? Yeah, are you Christian or
- 33:02atheist or what? I want to know we're gonna
- 33:04scrub. It's, I don't know it, I would
- 33:07say it. However, you define me as is how
- 33:10strict you like allowed deviation, for whatever it is,
- 33:13you believe, and how you define God, right?
- 33:17So, some people think, I believe in God in some People say I'm an
- 33:22atheist. Well I asked which one you are
- 33:24because there are certain responses I give to an old Earth
- 33:28creationist that I wouldn't give to an atheist.
- 33:32Well I wouldn't call myself an atheist so I'm not going to make
- 33:36some green creme lipstick then sure.
- 33:38Yeah I haven't heard anything that I believe in.
- 33:42Right? Well the reason why SEPTA
- 33:44straightforward contextual reading of the Bible is because
- 33:47in numbers 12 6 through 9 God talked to Aaron Was this in
- 33:51Miriam because Aaron and Miriam had challenged.
- 33:54Moses's status is spokesperson of God and God came down and
- 33:59told Aaron and Miriam that when he revealed himself to Moses.
- 34:03He did not reveal himself to him and dreams and Visions like he
- 34:06did other prophets and he specifically said that he spoke
- 34:10to Moses face to face and that he spoke to him clearly and not
- 34:14riddles. So, in other words, the
- 34:16revelations he gave to Moses, he gave them to him in a
- 34:20straightforward manner. Manner and he did not give them
- 34:22to him in any kind of coded language that he would have to
- 34:25reinterpret to ascertain the correct and true meaning.
- 34:29So what that says to people like me and the other young Earth
- 34:33creationist is when we're reading the revelations in
- 34:36Genesis and Exodus Leviticus Numbers and Deuteronomy we
- 34:41accept the straightforward reading of those books because
- 34:44that's literally the reading that God said is the correct
- 34:48reading of those books and most of the information That leads us
- 34:52to believe that the earth and the universe are a little over
- 34:546,000 years old are found in Genesis and Exodus the one
- 34:59exception being First. Kings chapter 6, verse 1.
- 35:03So that's why we have the belief that we do and that's why we
- 35:07interpret the books, the way we do.
- 35:09It's because God literally commands has to When I have no,
- 35:14I just would say that, I can't claim any expertise on them.
- 35:18Right? So I've met, plenty of Bible
- 35:21scholars, who have who might disagree with your, how you
- 35:26define, contextual in your use of the word, contextual, and
- 35:30also that they don't believe that they don't have that
- 35:34conflict, right? So, I certainly don't claim to
- 35:39speak Hebrew. So I don't know that your
- 35:44English translation of what the Hebrew Bible says is necessarily
- 35:48correct. Popular older creationist
- 35:51apologist like William Lane Craig in the past have talked
- 35:54about how they actually reinterpret the Bible in order
- 35:58to make it line up with what the majority opinion of the
- 36:02scientific and academic Community says about Origins.
- 36:06And he even A step further and said that this was a practice
- 36:09that all Christians should do. But by saying this, what he's
- 36:13admitting is that the Bible is not, the ultimate Authority, and
- 36:17his might his life. And in his mind when it comes to
- 36:19the issue. And then there was the theistic
- 36:22evolutionist Perry Marshall in 2015, in his book Evolution 2.0
- 36:27who literally put in writing, that science was a higher
- 36:30authority than the Bible on Origins.
- 36:32And therefore, we need to let science settled the question and
- 36:35not the Bible. So the Entire older of
- 36:38criminally insane is one of reinterpreting the Bible to make
- 36:43it fit, whatever the majority opinion of the scientific and
- 36:46academic Community is now there are times where they say they
- 36:49don't do that but they're lying when they say that.
- 36:54And I can understand why you would, you know, not agree with
- 36:57my worldview. If you believe in deep time,
- 37:00Evolution, Big Bang cosmology, you strongly believe.
- 37:04This is the truth. You strongly believe you have
- 37:07good evidence for it and then you hear someone like me talking
- 37:11about my view on Origins. It would sound like nonsense to
- 37:15you especially if you believe that the evidence is on your
- 37:18side. So I don't blame you for
- 37:20disagreeing with me. I'm just saying that.
- 37:22I don't believe that. Geology and biology and
- 37:26chemistry, and physics and astronomy are lying or wrong.
- 37:32I have no reason to believe that as a person who functions in the
- 37:35modern world and can see the achievements of science.
- 37:39The, the smartphone that I'm using is connected, wirelessly
- 37:42and I can talk to anyone around the world.
- 37:44I'm watching you communicating with you right now.
- 37:46So, what you're asking me to believe is that a book that has
- 37:50talking snakes and Magic is real.
- 37:54Real. And it's a better explanation of
- 37:55the world and is demonstratable somehow and somehow the science
- 37:59is not demonstratable. Yeah, I'm using it right right
- 38:03now. That's really and truly how I
- 38:05have to let go. I don't know how you're coming
- 38:08to this conclusion. That science is lying when we're
- 38:11talking via true. Technological wonder, you know
- 38:16what I mean? You mind if I tell ya, you mind,
- 38:19if I say something just real quick for those who like to for
- 38:22the non-believer, Are people who have doubts who say things like,
- 38:27you believe in a book of talking animals.
- 38:29Remember the same, people usually believe that they
- 38:31evolved from animals and that they are animals that talk.
- 38:35So, yeah, I was just going to say that.
- 38:37I think I'm beyond that. I do believe I am a talking
- 38:40animal. Yes, I just don't believe that
- 38:43I've never seen a snake talk or a donkey talk.
- 38:46I don't think that, you know, but I have seen a gorilla, do
- 38:49sign language. So I know that we're not the
- 38:51only talking animals, And you know I've seen you know even
- 38:56with obviously communicate and I was being facetious but I'm
- 38:59saying that I don't believe in magic but I had an I don't
- 39:04believe in every scientific claim in the world either.
- 39:07Right. We've got all sorts of people
- 39:09claiming science and I don't believe in I pseudoscience or
- 39:13any of that stuff either. And I necessarily think that we
- 39:16do need to sort ideas out. I just don't see how you're
- 39:20rejecting All of science. To make the kind.
- 39:28Well, there is a saying that old Earth creationist Frank Turek is
- 39:32popular for saying and I actually agree with it.
- 39:35Science doesn't say anything scientists do, there's the
- 39:39scientific data and then there's how scientists interpret data
- 39:44and how they interpret data is dependent upon their worldview.
- 39:48I'm living in the same world as people who disagree with me,
- 39:51about Origins and I'm looking at the same data that they are.
- 39:54But I am, Bring it differently because of my worldview.
- 39:58And if you actually look at some of the things that evolutionists
- 40:02and atheists, and I'm not saying you believe these per se, but
- 40:05what I've seen in a lot of them is they teach and they teach
- 40:09this literally that you can have design in nature without there
- 40:14being a designer behind it. And I find that incredibly
- 40:18hilarious and self-refuting book because if we applied this
- 40:23argument to anything, Else they would never accept that
- 40:27argument, like, if I spanked and nonsensical argument and I'm so
- 40:32you're cherry-picking people who are using words incorrectly,
- 40:35perhaps a scientist. If I were to say that, well,
- 40:39this Blu-ray discs that I got doesn't work, when I put it in
- 40:42my Blu-ray player and try to watch it there for either the
- 40:45disc, or the player itself had no designer behind it.
- 40:50No one would buy that even for a second.
- 40:52Or if I said that a video game was really buggy.
- 40:55Therefore, there must be no developer behind the video game.
- 40:59No. One would accept that.
- 41:00They'd laugh me out of the room, but the one area where they
- 41:03accept, this argument is when it comes to Origins.
- 41:06They'll say, well, we can't have a God, I don't believe there's a
- 41:10God, and there's all this design in nature or what at least what
- 41:13appears to be designed in nature.
- 41:15So, we're going to assert that. You can have what appears to be
- 41:18designed in nature without a designer.
- 41:22I even had one evolutionist YouTuber respond to me in video.
- 41:25Oh, and his initial gut reaction was Justin.
- 41:28You're right. But that is worldview took over
- 41:30and he couldn't allow me to be, right?
- 41:32And so that's when he came up with this whole argument of you
- 41:35can have design without a designer.
- 41:37So that's why I'm okay that they teach that I can't go with ever,
- 41:43okay. I think we're completing ideas.
- 41:46So a biologists don't say that there is design without a
- 41:50designer people. Maybe who argue on the internet
- 41:53who aren't biologists Say that mistakenly biologist says,
- 41:58complex life exists. It either did or did not have a
- 42:03creation event that, you know, what I mean.
- 42:08But that's all that biology says.
- 42:10So biology is you're talking about evolution of life.
- 42:15Since it started, how it started, biology doesn't really
- 42:19say they say, they don't know how it started.
- 42:21That's that's that's what I learned in Biology class but I I
- 42:25think that obviously all life on Earth is related.
- 42:29We can see the genetics and it's all evidence points to a long
- 42:36time ago. We had a common ancestor.
- 42:38I mean I don't think that that's very kind, that's very
- 42:40controversial. That's just biology.
- 42:43I'm actually, very glad you said that by the way because there is
- 42:47an evolutionist YouTuber. Who's pretty popular name,
- 42:50Professor stick and a couple of years ago.
- 42:52When a young Earth creationist brought up exactly what You said
- 42:56that darwinian, Evolution teaches that all life has a
- 42:59single Universal, common ancestor, he claimed that this
- 43:02young Earth creationist was wrong and that he didn't
- 43:05understand how Evolution worked. But when you go to page 484 of
- 43:09Charles Darwin's Origin of the species work, you find Charles
- 43:13Darwin saying exactly what you said.
- 43:16So yeah, it's not when I saw that I was confused.
- 43:19I was like well if Darwin said it and if it's supposedly true,
- 43:23why wouldn't you be shouting this?
- 43:25From the rooftops Professor stick when she be saying, yeah
- 43:29see science proved what Darwin said to be true.
- 43:32Take that young Earth creationist.
- 43:34But instead, he tried to pretend that darwinian Evolution, never
- 43:38taught that even the science does and I was always really
- 43:41confused by that. So I do appreciate you bringing
- 43:45it up here, saying that's true. Yeah well I mean that's that's
- 43:48biology I mean that's why I think we should you know, when
- 43:52we shouldn't go with the Avenue Of looking for what is true
- 43:57rather than having arguments and debates for the sake of them, do
- 44:01you know what I mean? And so I'm not I don't want to
- 44:04argue necessarily and debate things.
- 44:07I want to like, okay, what is true?
- 44:09I have, you know, I took geology and school and it sure they
- 44:16should be, they should take a ology Sure can make a lot of
- 44:21money and find a lot of oil and, you know, you older younger
- 44:26theologist, don't get hired by the oil companies is another
- 44:30thing they don't, they don't, it's geologists to the
- 44:34scientists. Are the only ones making all
- 44:36that money. They can find oil, and gold and
- 44:41natural gas. They can find the precious
- 44:43metals and if their theories were wrong, they wouldn't be
- 44:47able to find all that stuff. I'm not seeing how that is.
- 44:53So what is it? What is it about?
- 44:57The different views of Origins, that would prevent a young
- 45:00Earth, creationist from being able to find oil or any other
- 45:04natural reserves in the ground. Be met because their theory is
- 45:07wrong. Thank you.
- 45:11You know, you can't form oil if it just got created Earth.
- 45:16Get created, 6,000 years ago. Older theology says that oil
- 45:20packets for them under certain conditions over millions and
- 45:23millions and millions of years. So that's one Theory.
- 45:27The Earth is billions of years old and plate tectonics is real
- 45:30and mountains. Formed this old one way when
- 45:33plates collide and things like that and that decaying matter
- 45:38from life. Against of years old is stuck
- 45:40underground. In a carbon, you know,
- 45:43compressed carbon State called oil or gas or coal younger
- 45:47child, you wouldn't have those same fat would interpret data
- 45:51even in close to the same way. I got two things to say to that
- 45:57one. Is that even in young Earth,
- 45:58creationism models, oil still exists.
- 46:02Even if the mechanism is completely different and to
- 46:05regardless of whether or not any of our worldviews are, True.
- 46:09What does that have to do with the ability to find oil and
- 46:13stuff in the ground because your argument was is that young Earth
- 46:16creationist don't get hired for positions to go find oil and
- 46:21reforms about? Well I don't I can't say how it
- 46:32is that they fail to find natural resources.
- 46:35I can just say that when I did my time as a natural gas oil and
- 46:39Recruiter that we only accepted applications from certain
- 46:43universities and they had to be accredited universities and
- 46:47obviously there is no young Earth accredited University if
- 46:50they could find oil and gas, we would hire them but we didn't
- 46:54care, you know, oil and gas companies aren't known for being
- 46:57woke there, about the green who can find the oil.
- 47:01And so that's how I, you know, one of these.
- 47:02I'm like these guys obviously can't find oil.
- 47:06Well, I would like to point out right now, that young Earth
- 47:09creationist don't just come from some universities somewhere.
- 47:13I mean, I went through accredited schools for my
- 47:17collegiate career and I have a college degree and I came out as
- 47:21a young Earth creationist after, I went through college.
- 47:24So, I don't think where you came from school wise as any bearing
- 47:28on, whether you're going to believe in atheism, or young,
- 47:31Earth, creationism, Evolution, or whatever view of Origins were
- 47:35talking about. Don't think where you went to
- 47:37school is really going to have any impact on that.
- 47:41There's a degrees in young Earth, creationism aren't, I'm
- 47:44pretty sure that there are I think one is like maybe Oral
- 47:47Roberts University or something like that or maybe Prager has
- 47:50one. Now, I'm just saying that.
- 47:52If those that if those ideas had true Merit that they would have,
- 47:57they would then the marketplace of ideas, as far as money is
- 48:01going that they would have something to point to.
- 48:04In that sphere is all. I mean, Like that, you can't
- 48:07that I can't find a young Earth working geologist.
- 48:12So you're something. So you're saying that the
- 48:16scientific and academic establishment would never have
- 48:19an ulterior motive to blackball the idea of young Earth
- 48:22creationism. If there was good evidence
- 48:25supporting young Earth creationism, I'm saying that
- 48:29that companies don't care about that, they care about money and
- 48:34that they they you know, you don't need a college degree to
- 48:37get hired at Tesla or to get hired it BP, you just need You
- 48:42be good at math or a good to find an oil?
- 48:46So then your view of Origins has nothing to do with that.
- 48:49Then your view of is the earth young or old.
- 48:54So whether God exists is irrelevant to the question of is
- 48:58the earth young or old. Well what I'm asking is because
- 49:02you just said they have to be able to do math and they have to
- 49:04be able to find a oil. And that was the requirements
- 49:07for it into Tesla and these oil companies.
- 49:09So what I'm asking you is, so you're saying that there's the
- 49:12view view of Origins has nothing to do with how you can get into
- 49:15those companies. It's all about whether you can
- 49:18find oil and you can do math, right?
- 49:21I believe that's true. I think that we, you know, that
- 49:23capitalism is at least in that. Respect is neutral.
- 49:27As far as politics goes that if you can do the job, that is to
- 49:32say that you'll get the job. That's and so II just wouldn't,
- 49:39you know? I was just wondering like, you
- 49:41know, whether oil companies are a conservative.
- 49:44Also, I mean, I'm not going to say that's true.
- 49:46But I think that we, they certainly are viewed as liberal,
- 49:50so why wouldn't they just accept like, why, why aren't there
- 49:55working young? Earth geologists is my any of,
- 50:00you know, of any like, I'm not. Okay.
- 50:01I'm not going to even make the claim LEDs.
- 50:03I've looked and I worked at oil company.
- 50:05I never heard of one eye. You know, is there one?
- 50:09Do you know of any, like, the company?
- 50:11Were the younger than geology claim?
- 50:13Like, is there a mineral company with is there a Christian, young
- 50:17Earth, creation, Mineral Company.
- 50:19Well, I don't know the answer to that one, but if you look up
- 50:22young, Earth creationist Ministries and various people
- 50:24within them. You will find young Earth,
- 50:26creationists, who are either former geologist or their
- 50:30current geologist, just depending on where they're at,
- 50:33they do exist. They're just not the majority in
- 50:36the community. Yeah, well, I mean, the titles,
- 50:41I don't even trust titles from universities but, you know,
- 50:46whether it It like is the Jihad who like someone who's like I've
- 50:49got a degree in geology. That doesn't necessarily mean
- 50:53geologist to me, but That's going to apply for science yet
- 50:58people claiming it too. But I, you know what I mean, I
- 51:02just would like to I'm not trying to that's not the only
- 51:06reason. I don't think that it's just one
- 51:07of the reasons I'm like, where's some, you know, why would I
- 51:10believe the Earth is 6,000 years old?
- 51:13It just doesn't make any sense to me.
- 51:15Like I want to believe in all these things.
- 51:17I learned I was a Pentecostal when I was a kid but he just
- 51:21doesn't seem true. What do you mean by it?
- 51:25Doesn't. True.
- 51:26Can you elaborate on what that means?
- 51:29Like the stories, like the stories of the Bible seem very
- 51:34much like myth in magical thinking, and not true.
- 51:39And I'm not saying that, like, I'll say that, you know, I
- 51:43believed in Jesus, for the longest time and I still think
- 51:46that he was a smart guy who has good ideas, but I think that we
- 51:50should not lead the Bible as a literal historical and
- 51:54scientific document that it's More about how did how you're
- 51:58supposed to live and behave and even then maybe not, you know,
- 52:02because you got to take just Jesus's version like be nice to
- 52:06one another love your neighbor as yourself that sort of a thing
- 52:11but let's not. I don't know, Stone adulterers,
- 52:16you didn't come, you do. Realize Jesus spent half his
- 52:19ministry, claiming to be the very God that you don't believe
- 52:22he exists, right? I've read it both ways.
- 52:26So I since I'm not going to put the effort into reading, the
- 52:29Bible outside of the quotes. I had to memorize his, a kid,
- 52:33I'll just kind of believe in the nice Jesus rather than the
- 52:38spiteful Jesus Jesus is that Oh sorry.
- 52:43Back while I'm working on my website and some other stuff
- 52:46right now. I just wanted to hop in and
- 52:48mention something. You said that how can I achieve
- 52:51that goal and Cindy are on the screen because they're not on
- 52:55camera. They're just doing the audio
- 52:57bit. I know the time that's why it's
- 53:00playing tricks on my I don't like what's going on.
- 53:02Yeah yeah I've always wanted to go to thanks for ya.
- 53:23You said that they don't have young Earth, creationists
- 53:26working with oil fields and all this kind of stuff for oil.
- 53:30I don't know of any I'm not saying there are none that
- 53:32exist, I don't know. Argument let's say Olivia that
- 53:36your argument is correct that they absolutely won't have a
- 53:39young Earth creationist at all work.
- 53:41There what? At the fact that 90% of
- 53:44scientists do believe in a God. And there's a lot of people up
- 53:47at Nasa that do, does that somehow add credibility to God
- 53:50for you now? Well, yeah, I mean, I think that
- 53:54the idea of God is reasonable. I know?
- 53:58I'm not an atheist. I'm just saying that.
- 54:01No version. I've heard Seems I don't believe
- 54:05any version I've heard so I'm just going to say that to most
- 54:09people. I'm an atheist.
- 54:11That's how but you know because I just reject what it is.
- 54:13You most likely believe you said that the idea of God existing
- 54:18was reasonable. What do you mean by that?
- 54:20What makes you think that? There's a God that exists even
- 54:23though you don't subscribe to any religion.
- 54:26Well It depends on how you wanted to find God.
- 54:34You can define God out of existence by making God
- 54:37logically impossible. To me like, God is the Alpha and
- 54:40Omega all-encompassing power. They ever could possibly exist
- 54:45in his totally of Nishant omnipotent.
- 54:48Then I'm going to say, maybe that's I'm not gonna, man.
- 54:51That sounds kind of why even go all that way, or you could just
- 54:54say, God is everything, is the living embodiment of the
- 54:58universe? Then I'll go.
- 55:02Yeah. That's seems very likely to be,
- 55:04you know, a true thing that our universe itself is a conscious
- 55:08being and not being as God. So basically if God is
- 55:13impersonal, then you don't really have a problem with the
- 55:16concept. No, I got can be personal, but
- 55:20if you're going to claim that God is a personal God, I'm going
- 55:25to see need to see some evidence of that personal God and well
- 55:30and what would qualify as evidence that you would say?
- 55:33Yeah, that's legit. Well, I grew up going to church
- 55:38has with faith healing and I always asked, why doesn't God
- 55:43heal amputees, are burn victims or mental retardation.
- 55:47Why does God always heal lower back pain, and headaches and ear
- 55:51pain? And can I ask a question?
- 55:55Sure, go ahead response to that to that statement that she just
- 55:59made, you know, actually got answered that question at the
- 56:02burning bush and several other places in the Old Testament.
- 56:06So I'm wondering just because God refuses to heal amputees or,
- 56:12you know, you know, people with other physical ailments that it
- 56:15doesn't necessarily that doesn't mean that he doesn't exist or
- 56:17that. He's not a good God or that he's
- 56:19not able to bring healing. Miraculous healing to people.
- 56:23Just I think all of these things that exist within people,
- 56:28despite how detrimental that maybe to both society and the
- 56:33individual themselves in some way, shape, or form, bring glory
- 56:36to God, you know, and we throw our finite minds or looking at
- 56:41just one thread of that entire rug if you will, and not getting
- 56:45the big picture. So I mean, I think there needs
- 56:49to be a little bit more nuanced with the claim that You know
- 56:53what, this guy lost his arm or this guy, who was born with no
- 56:55arms therefore we can say that God is either either exist or
- 57:00he's either good. So I think there needs to be
- 57:02more nuanced on the part of those making those conclusions.
- 57:06Well, I'm in the context of I'm out of Faith healing and being
- 57:10taught as a kid, that God heals things.
- 57:13If you're sincere and you believe and have faith, right?
- 57:18So I'm just saying that, it sure is odd that none of the He's got
- 57:23healed or had enough Faith or the burn victims, didn't or the
- 57:26people with mental retardation or down syndrome.
- 57:29Those kind of people didn't get healed because I'm just saying
- 57:33that that's just the cakes. What about be buddies go, what
- 57:37about? I'm a little skeptical myself.
- 57:40Nowadays with when I hear a charismatic, talk about the
- 57:43supernatural experiences. They've had witnessed but I'm
- 57:46not going to. I'm not a cessationist either.
- 57:48I'm not going to flat out say that God doesn't do this
- 57:51anymore. Because there's sent the reason
- 57:55is very simple because I'm not God, I don't have a mission
- 57:57knowledge. So I wasn't there when they've
- 58:00witnessed these things and either way you so you can't
- 58:03really I don't think in and out saying that you particularly
- 58:06Olivia, but with anyone? No one.
- 58:08Who is a non-believer kid. Assert that these things don't
- 58:11happen. Why?
- 58:12Because I've never bore witness to it, you know what I mean?
- 58:15So, so why not just say that I've been to so many 10?
- 58:18Revivals and I was a charismatic, Pentecostal. and
- 58:22I've seen speaking in tongues and, and I'll just tell you It
- 58:29just felt made up to me. Like I can say, I know my mom
- 58:33was sincere he had taken in by it.
- 58:35I don't think that they had preacher.
- 58:37I think he was like the movie that Steve Martin made.
- 58:40I think that they're in the Perry's, cooped up in the world.
- 58:44I think there are the fairest people in the world, who take
- 58:46care of the gullible and that's, I don't know that God isn't
- 58:51real. I'm just saying that, no faith
- 58:53healing church I've ever been to, or No.
- 58:55Tara, vital of ever being team seems like it was true.
- 58:59It seems. And that's what I appreciate
- 59:01your position there. Because you're speaking
- 59:03subjectively and you're being honest about it, you not being
- 59:06dogmatic, or are you not speaking objectively about it?
- 59:09You're not saying that just doesn't happen.
- 59:11You just saying that through your own personal experience and
- 59:14observation you've never seen any of these things or you have
- 59:17you're not convinced that this is a validation of the god of
- 59:21the Bible, right? So I appreciate your position.
- 59:25Yeah. I would just say that that all I
- 59:27would I would change my mind. In a moment, if I saw Allegro, I
- 59:31would think it would do would be easy.
- 59:34It would be easy, right? If I saw leg regrow after
- 59:38someone said, please God heal my leg and I saw like I believe
- 59:43that God healed alack and besides that would be science.
- 59:50You can do silence on guys. I see.
- 59:52See that's that's where I'm I slightly disagree with you but
- 59:55that's more of a segue into a different kind of Conversation
- 59:59regarding theology, more theological and soteriological.
- 1:00:06You know. I don't know what some other
- 1:00:08Christians here are. I'ma hold to What's called the
- 1:00:11calvinist view or reformed View and it's scaring me.
- 1:00:16Yeah, how Mr. Like God, these are picked people to go to hell
- 1:00:20or pick people to go to heaven. Well again, see, there you go,
- 1:00:23you got it, you got it, you got it, depending on which Calvin
- 1:00:26has, she talked to, and in which your Standing of Calvinism
- 1:00:29actually is a lot of people that attack Calvinism, have a skewed
- 1:00:34idea of what it is. Often a lot of straw man going
- 1:00:37on but I don't want to get into that topic now unless you guys
- 1:00:40want to but but I'm just saying the reason why I'm bringing it
- 1:00:43up is because I in my view this is just my opinion.
- 1:00:47I know some other Christians might disagree but I don't
- 1:00:49believe that you would that you seeing a leg growing or an
- 1:00:54amputee you know, grow some limbs would The main thing
- 1:01:00that's going to, you know, wake you up and say Jesus is Lord,
- 1:01:04bring you to Faith. Okay.
- 1:01:06The best thing because what we're going to end up seeing is
- 1:01:08over and over again. What we see why it wouldn't
- 1:01:10necessarily be Jesus. It depends on if they pray and
- 1:01:15they pray to God and God regrew like I believe in God I wouldn't
- 1:01:19necessarily believe in Jesus because let me tell you this guy
- 1:01:23Toby is singer this Jewish rabbi Rock to break it down.
- 1:01:27What I used to believe. Leave is far as the Bible goes.
- 1:01:31If you ever get scared of this guy, oh yeah, he's, but he's
- 1:01:34afraid to have a debate with Michael Brown, you know.
- 1:01:37So Michael Brown is probably one of the best Christian apologists
- 1:01:41against guys, like Tobias singer and Toby, sing at his made it
- 1:01:45very clear, that he will not debate this guy again because
- 1:01:47well, for whatever reason, so I don't know.
- 1:01:50Be right back in a moment. I'll be right back.
- 1:01:59Real quick up real quick. Real quick, I'm going to respond
- 1:02:03to someone when I posted that link the showing that ninety
- 1:02:06percent of scientists believe in God of some form.
- 1:02:11This person wrote. Oh, so you're using a website
- 1:02:14called God evidence.com. Would you prefer?
- 1:02:16I use atheist hate God.com or something to get the information
- 1:02:21from Okay, real quick because I know other people want to speak,
- 1:02:34but the reason why I brought up the issue of whether or not you
- 1:02:37believe if you actually see these things happen before your
- 1:02:40very eyes is because again, we threw my personal observation.
- 1:02:47Since we went to speak of all things temporal, we've seen
- 1:02:50constantly over and over again, atheists, hear testimonies
- 1:02:54maybe, even bear witness to some Supernatural events.
- 1:02:59They always tried. They go out of their way to come
- 1:03:01up with some naturalistic materialistic explanation for it
- 1:03:04or they just simply say we don't have an answer for it, but
- 1:03:07science in the future will come up with an answer like you know,
- 1:03:11and that's a that's usually the time response that we get.
- 1:03:14So so that's why I'm saying that.
- 1:03:16If you were to see, I'm not saying that you won't, because,
- 1:03:19I don't know your mind, I'm not God, but I'm just saying, I have
- 1:03:22strong doubt that if you were to see a limb grow right now,
- 1:03:26right? Before your eyes, in the name of
- 1:03:28Jesus, Hi, me personally. I have very strong doubt that,
- 1:03:32that could end up bringing you to Faith.
- 1:03:34You would just end up coming up with a naturalistic explanation
- 1:03:37for it. Speaking of Miracles, Jesus
- 1:03:41raised Lazarus from the dead. And the response of his enemies
- 1:03:44was to say, not only killed Jesus kill Lazarus again to.
- 1:03:50Yeah, that's why he looks. That's what people would do
- 1:03:54today. If we've something person
- 1:03:55raised, Go zombie up. Do you remember what?
- 1:04:03Paul says in First Corinthians 2:14, but the natural man.
- 1:04:07Receiveth not the things of the spirit of God for why they are
- 1:04:11foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them?
- 1:04:14Because they are spiritually discerned.
- 1:04:17What are the things that that are spiritually discerned?
- 1:04:19The things that are of God? The spirit, the things that
- 1:04:22speak about the spirit of God, that the supernatural things,
- 1:04:25the spirit spiritual things, these things that we talked
- 1:04:28about, Foolishness to the Natural mind.
- 1:04:30They are foolishness to The Atheist and the materialist, and
- 1:04:33the reason why they can understand it because these
- 1:04:36things that we speak about you, no, resurrection of the Dead
- 1:04:38being, you know, people being healed of physical ailments,
- 1:04:41these things require spiritual discernment but see the atheist
- 1:04:46and natural mind because they find this type of stuff.
- 1:04:49Foolishness, the only way that they have to explain away these
- 1:04:53type of things that they're seeing, is through some
- 1:04:55naturalistic attempt or materialist.
- 1:04:58Opt, maybe. That's right.
- 1:05:01Yeah. I think that we are the
- 1:05:07embodiment of God's actions that God doesn't do magic in the
- 1:05:12world. We are God's magic.
- 1:05:15That's why we are created. God wants good things in the
- 1:05:19universe. God doesn't say magic.
- 1:05:20Good things humans. Do the good things by.
- 1:05:23The decree of God, we are God's will on this plane of existence.
- 1:05:28It not some magic miracle. That would only exist because we
- 1:05:34are the miracle and we make the magic happen right now.
- 1:05:37Not only apply if you were actually following the will of
- 1:05:40the god you're talking about. If you reject that God, you're
- 1:05:43obviously not going to do what he wants.
- 1:05:45I mean, well, let's just let's jump past is God, real.
- 1:05:49Why should I believe in your God?
- 1:05:53And I say this to any Muslim to any Jew or a Hindu or seek,
- 1:05:57whatever, why would I believe in you?
- 1:05:59Why would what are they? What evidence is there to say?
- 1:06:02That? Jesus is real versus Muhammad is
- 1:06:04Right vs. Shiva is right.
- 1:06:07You mean, besides all the historical documentation outside
- 1:06:10the Bible that says, not only that Jesus exists, but he also
- 1:06:14performed miracles to support his claim to be God.
- 1:06:18And that his resurrection from the dead was reported by his
- 1:06:21followers after three days, So, besides all of that wouldn't I
- 1:06:25wouldn't count? That's the Bible.
- 1:06:28No. No.
- 1:06:29Roman is no reaction. I'm not so sure about.
- 1:06:32There's like what one, Roman historian?
- 1:06:35Who wrote something down? I don't know that.
- 1:06:38Try eight of them and they all right.
- 1:06:39Different details. And they all end of the first
- 1:06:42century beginning of the second century.
- 1:06:44Yeah, you should know by now that that there is only a small
- 1:06:48handful of atheists in this in the world that actually reject.
- 1:06:53The the the fact that Jesus existed, and these other
- 1:06:56economic, you didn't know that there's a minority, I mean,
- 1:07:03there's at least 100. I mean, there's 100 scientists
- 1:07:06who don't even think Socrates was real, you know what I mean?
- 1:07:10It's as if you don't write anything down, eventually, you
- 1:07:15will be suspicious as being fake reg, whether you're Jesus,
- 1:07:18whether you're Socrates, whether you're King Tut, it doesn't
- 1:07:23There's more documentation for Jesus in his life than most
- 1:07:27popular ancient figures of History.
- 1:07:29So if you're going to go down that route you can't really cast
- 1:07:32doubt on Jesus's existence. Well whether he's God manifest
- 1:07:37is the doubt like do it is why would I believe why?
- 1:07:41Would I believe Jesus Is God, I mean I think this might be a
- 1:07:45prophet and when I bring up the Roman historians they didn't
- 1:07:50write from the perspective of oh yeah.
- 1:07:52Thing Jesus said was true. These were people who didn't
- 1:07:55care about Jews, who didn't care about Christians, the fact that
- 1:07:59they even specified Jesus, by name is a miracle because they
- 1:08:02tended to not care about Christians and Jews, and they
- 1:08:06usually call them out by name. They give you certain details in
- 1:08:09each of their different accounts.
- 1:08:11And then you take all the accounts together and you put
- 1:08:14all the details together to paint the overall picture.
- 1:08:17You get a Jesus that is congruent with the New
- 1:08:19Testament, gospels, but is less detailed.
- 1:08:22They are. So if we go down the road of
- 1:08:26non-biblical sources, it actually lines up pretty well.
- 1:08:29If the New Testament gospels regarding Jesus, the gospel
- 1:08:32simply provide, you information that the Roman historians don't
- 1:08:37like how people reacted to Jesus teachings and his claims and his
- 1:08:41miracles. If those things are true, right?
- 1:08:46I don't I've never seen a miracle so I find Miracle claims
- 1:08:50to be very dubious. I'd have to see one to believe
- 1:08:53one. Also.
- 1:08:57The claims of what Jesus is seem rather strange, they don't make
- 1:09:03much logical sense to me, so I find them hard to believe.
- 1:09:08For example, why did Jesus have to come and sacrifice himself so
- 1:09:13that he choose to forgive us? That makes no logical sense to
- 1:09:17me. Why would God have to kill
- 1:09:19themselves to forgive me? They could just I forgive you.
- 1:09:24I love that question. And I would challenge every
- 1:09:27Christian to take on trying to answer that question.
- 1:09:31Yes. I was just going to say Jesus
- 1:09:34explained why he was doing that in his Earthly Ministry, it was
- 1:09:37to pay the ransom, for all the people of the past, the present,
- 1:09:41and who would come in the future, who would sin against
- 1:09:43God, he was making payment for their sins.
- 1:09:47So that if they repent and enter into a personal relationship
- 1:09:51with God, the sacrifice Jesus made Would be applied to their
- 1:09:54sin Ledger. They'd be forgiven of their
- 1:09:57sins. And then when they stand before,
- 1:09:59God, instead of God seen all of their sins and their crimes
- 1:10:02against him, he sees the righteousness of Jesus, and he
- 1:10:06allows them to spend here. The same person though, Jesus Is
- 1:10:09God, I think, I think she's really, yeah, really Yeah I
- 1:10:15think what she's really trying to ask an Olivia could correct
- 1:10:18me if I'm wrong because ask questions too is that if Jesus
- 1:10:23Is God and God is God. He's he possesses.
- 1:10:26What's called the Sadie, he is so sufficient he doesn't depend
- 1:10:29on anything outside of himself in order to exist or to consist
- 1:10:34or to maintain whatever. Right?
- 1:10:36Why was he under any obligation to make salvation attainable in
- 1:10:42the fashion that he did? Hi, I'm Steve.
- 1:10:45Judgment day. Was he obligated to do any of
- 1:10:47that? The answer is no.
- 1:10:49They did not need to do any of that.
- 1:10:51People say to Scott could be an evil monster, that is correct.
- 1:10:57The creator of the universe is nice if he could be better.
- 1:11:01According to what standard? What's the objective standard
- 1:11:03that exists outside the human mind?
- 1:11:05That is greater than God. That's what I'd like to know.
- 1:11:08Like if God is torturing their creation for fun, they're not
- 1:11:12nice I'm not gonna have any problem saying so According to
- 1:11:15what standard? Oh yeah.
- 1:11:18If I'm being tortured, I know what torture is, right?
- 1:11:21So if God storage good, as if you're going to called got a
- 1:11:24torture, let's just say, God doesn't have to be nice.
- 1:11:28Well, okay, then I reject me and God send me to Hell.
- 1:11:32Well the god of the Bible doesn't torture any human being
- 1:11:36for eternity. He only does that to Satan and
- 1:11:38his demons according to Revelation, the people who are
- 1:11:42not in the Book of Life who were humans.
- 1:11:44They Experience. What is called the second death,
- 1:11:47which occurs at the Lake of Fire.
- 1:11:49So dilation in your in an isolationist you and
- 1:11:52Annihilation, just okay? Just well revelation, 22 gives
- 1:11:58me the idea of Hell. The idea of how is an evil
- 1:12:01concept that no just God, would create a help.
- 1:12:06That's why I'm not that the Bible makes it clear.
- 1:12:09That hell is just a holding cell that people, go to until the
- 1:12:12great white Throne judgment. And then those Whose names are
- 1:12:15not found in the Book of Life. They're tossed into the Lake of
- 1:12:17Fire. They experience the second
- 1:12:19death, and that's it for them. There is no Eternal conscious
- 1:12:22torment for anyone other than Satan and his demons, which now
- 1:12:27tonight earlier in the book. Now, let me respond to that.
- 1:12:30Now, Olivia, let's say the case is true, that Eternal conscious
- 1:12:33torment exist. Again you still got to answer
- 1:12:35the question. What standard are you going by
- 1:12:37to determine objectively? That this would be an inherently
- 1:12:41immoral thing and it's torture. Placate, is there an objection?
- 1:12:47We're talking about morality Bill Moran here.
- 1:12:50Same, there's no objective. I'm taking a band.
- 1:12:53Nobod tortured just portraits. Okay, it's okay.
- 1:12:56And then that's it. Yeah, but he's not even me.
- 1:13:00Well, you're not giving me an objective standard to tell me to
- 1:13:02prove to me that torture for all eternity is actually immoral.
- 1:13:07You giving me opinions, you given me a perspective, but
- 1:13:10you're not giving me anything objective.
- 1:13:12I don't know. It is up to you.
- 1:13:14I mean, there is no objective in that way, right?
- 1:13:19So I would objectively say that torturing like we could go and
- 1:13:23say, hey, let's torch this kitten.
- 1:13:25Do you think this kitten is enjoying this activity?
- 1:13:28It would be a genuine that you said it was the only thing
- 1:13:34exactly with the only thing detective about that would be
- 1:13:38that the fact that you actually stated it but you're not, we can
- 1:13:42just look at maybe But it's what happened, but it's not answering
- 1:13:47a question on the moral nature of the thing and we do not
- 1:13:51giving us the standard. I think Chris and I think
- 1:13:55Christian Christian Christian I don't know you're saying that
- 1:13:58that torture is okay. I don't know that I trust your
- 1:14:01moral standard oh no we're saying that.
- 1:14:03Everything that God does is in Harold Lee just so might makes
- 1:14:08right. Is what you're saying?
- 1:14:10No to everything. Based on himself because he is
- 1:14:26the Alpha and Omega. There's nothing greater than
- 1:14:29because he's a tough, that's not how it works.
- 1:14:31No, because you have a standard or thing that's greater
- 1:14:43than God that allows You to condemn any of God's actions as
- 1:14:48wrong or torture. What's I mean certainly that you
- 1:14:51know it's if might makes right God is right.
- 1:14:54If God is the toughest thing in the universe now for using
- 1:14:57something like, I don't know. I I personally think torturing
- 1:15:01teachers is wrong and parents who torture their children like
- 1:15:04burned with cigarettes when they're bad or molest them or,
- 1:15:08you know, set their legs on fire or anything.
- 1:15:10Those people are bad, maybe you disagree, I'm just saying we
- 1:15:13agree. But, you know.
- 1:15:14No, I just think that that's wrong.
- 1:15:17It's okay, well, we Christians agree with that.
- 1:15:21But the question is, why do you say that?
- 1:15:24It's wrong. Why do we, why do we say what we
- 1:15:26say? That's what he's truly.
- 1:15:27Concurrent causes pain and suffering.
- 1:15:30There we go. Because it causes what say that.
- 1:15:33One more time, pain and suffering.
- 1:15:37There you go. See you can't see that the
- 1:15:40natural mind cannot escape from the fact that they when they
- 1:15:43when the issue of morality. Comes up.
- 1:15:45They cannot get away from being subjective with their position.
- 1:15:49They have to go buy some form of pragmatism conventionalism.
- 1:15:54Good, where do you think? I'm glad that you said that all
- 1:16:04you're doing then by making these complaints about you have
- 1:16:07the right to. I don't want to kill the
- 1:16:09conversation. I'm just saying that when you
- 1:16:11make these complaints about God being a moral monster, you You
- 1:16:15should you fail to show anyone here?
- 1:16:16Buying up through an objective means to prove that that is
- 1:16:19actual actually the case. What you're doing, you have no
- 1:16:23choice but to resort to some form of subjectivity, which he
- 1:16:26doesn't complication that, then your arguments the arguments
- 1:16:33about God being a moral monster, or would be a more Monster if
- 1:16:37such-and-such Will true arbitrary.
- 1:16:40I think we need to take a timeout here on this argument.
- 1:16:43We should give Cindy a chance to talk Thanks teaching.
- 1:16:49Hi Olivia. Hi, um I really appreciate how
- 1:16:54you started out by saying that you wanted to be respectful even
- 1:16:58though you don't respect the yak position and I want to validate
- 1:17:07what you're saying about pain and suffering being immoral.
- 1:17:12Because that's what we know on this planet.
- 1:17:16If somebody inflicts pain and suffering on us their immoral,
- 1:17:22He'll when I first became a Christian was one of the hardest
- 1:17:26things for me, too. swallow and as I've walked through life and
- 1:17:33had people, Steal and rape and Gaslight and abuse the shit out
- 1:17:44of me. I have come to understand why a
- 1:17:49loving God would not allow that to go on checked.
- 1:17:55He does wish the Bible says he's not willing that any should
- 1:18:00perish but that all should come to repentance.
- 1:18:04And so we allows that shit to go on for a while giving them
- 1:18:09chances kind of like Pharaoh we gave him ten plagues.
- 1:18:14And Pharaoh hardened, his heart. I think it was nine times and
- 1:18:20then the tenth time, God, hardened Pharaoh's heart.
- 1:18:24But I I from what you see on the planet, how man abuses men, how
- 1:18:34man abuses children? And I don't mean man, like the
- 1:18:38gender, I mean, right? Yeah. there are things that go
- 1:18:44on on this planet, that are hell, Worthy That's my position
- 1:18:52and I when I agree with you I'm sorry I do agree with her but I
- 1:18:57don't want to believe in God so that I can believe in Revenge on
- 1:19:03my enemies. That's a horrible reason to
- 1:19:05believe in God. Well, God doesn't seek revenge.
- 1:19:09I mean the very Versed and that's why I referred In order
- 1:19:19to avoid what's coming to them. He doesn't want to judge anyone
- 1:19:23for their crimes. But the fact of the matter is,
- 1:19:25some people are going to be judged for their crimes because
- 1:19:28they don't want to take the out that God gives them.
- 1:19:31He's given us, every at we can get, even though we don't
- 1:19:34deserve it. And I think that's very loving
- 1:19:36for him to do. Maybe I mean, I do appreciate
- 1:19:41what you said Cindy and I and, and I don't dismiss it.
- 1:19:44What you say, all. I just kind of think that gosh,
- 1:19:48this is already kind of hell, you know, what, what's that,
- 1:19:52what could be worse than what we're already in?
- 1:19:55Do you know, they mean? Well, oh my goodness.
- 1:19:59You have no idea when you go to a courtroom and you're being
- 1:20:05victimized, it's very Precious. When the judge says that man is
- 1:20:14lying or he did this that, and I see the evidence.
- 1:20:21You're correct. He did this to you.
- 1:20:23You need restitution, restitution is not the same as
- 1:20:27Vengeance for an evil motive. It's, there's a sweetness about
- 1:20:33Justice. Okay.
- 1:20:38And then can I ask a real quick question about Justice, because
- 1:20:43I'll call you what my one main one of the main problems I have
- 1:20:46with Christianity has always been about Jesus and salvation
- 1:20:51headed to get out of jail free card.
- 1:20:53You can behave any sort of way for your whole life and then I'm
- 1:20:58saying I got, I believe in Jesus, therefore, I'm safe and I
- 1:21:02hate, you know, come on some of the worst people on Earth there,
- 1:21:04Chris Because they believe in that I actually provided the
- 1:21:09Bible doesn't teach that exactly.
- 1:21:13Bible antinomian smile agree with you if that were the case.
- 1:21:18However, that's false teaching because if you continue to do
- 1:21:25what God says, God died for Jesus died for sins.
- 1:21:30Right? So, if you're going to keep
- 1:21:31doing sins, well then you're you're in disagreement with him.
- 1:21:36If you're going to say I'm sorry I stole that from you here.
- 1:21:41Let me give you four times what I stole that's fruit in keeping
- 1:21:47with repentance and without fruit in keeping with
- 1:21:52repentance. Just a simple word that says oh
- 1:21:56I accepted Jesus in my heart is quite frankly, bullcrap, and
- 1:22:01Jesus isn't going to buy it any more than you did.
- 1:22:05I think you're seven Matthew 7:21-23 says, there's going to
- 1:22:10be a lot of people who claim the name of Jesus and claimed that
- 1:22:14all these great works in his name.
- 1:22:15And when they finally meet him at the Judgment, they're going
- 1:22:18to be told by Jesus, I never knew you away.
- 1:22:21Never you evildoers? Wait, wait, TTL, right?
- 1:22:24He says that I used to know you but you screw it up.
- 1:22:27So now you're done. Right.
- 1:22:28That's what the verse actually says right?
- 1:22:31No no. Anybody can fact check that.
- 1:22:35Okay. Okay now I got you I like to do
- 1:22:37that sometimes but yeah I also they Bible gives very strong
- 1:22:42emphasis on the transformative power of the Holy Spirit as
- 1:22:45well. So you don't it's not just you
- 1:22:48know regeneration is not a verbal or vocal proclamation of
- 1:22:53your allegiance to Christ. There's an actual change that
- 1:22:58comes with it as well, which is what we call regeneration.
- 1:23:01So yeah, so you're not going to What zbornak?
- 1:23:07Well that's that's part of it. But yeah regeneration.
- 1:23:14Yeah, I was just going to say real quick.
- 1:23:17If you guys all kinds of patches, I won't go through them
- 1:23:19all. But you know, second Corinthians
- 1:23:215:17. Therefore If any man be a new
- 1:23:22creature, he is a, you know, you know, old things are passed
- 1:23:25away, behold All Things become new.
- 1:23:27So all you got all these evidential that passages, that
- 1:23:29talk about how a person is transformed.
- 1:23:32It doesn't mean that they stopped sending overnight.
- 1:23:34It just means that there is a change with Eyes to the sin that
- 1:23:37they once used to commit and they don't justify it anymore
- 1:23:41than now they're convicted by even if they do it in the dark
- 1:23:44and when no one else sees them, they still feel remorse regret.
- 1:23:48You know, conviction conflict, that kind of thing.
- 1:23:52The number doesn't have those kinds of things, but glad I
- 1:23:55wanted to agree with Livy. On one other thing that she
- 1:23:58said, in terms of the faith healing, I think that her
- 1:24:04observation that there's charlatan He's out there and
- 1:24:08she's the word nefarious who are using the gospel as gained,
- 1:24:12they're using the gospel to line their pocketbooks and Jesus
- 1:24:19agrees with you on that too. And he's gonna spew them out of
- 1:24:22his mouth. And it makes me really upset
- 1:24:28that that kind of fraud in the church made you conclude that
- 1:24:31the whole church was a fraud or that Jesus was a fraud or that.
- 1:24:37This is Christianity. No.
- 1:24:38Thanks. And I guess I just want to
- 1:24:43validate you that Jesus agrees. And he was harshest with those
- 1:24:48who were in the church, the Pharisees he called them a brood
- 1:24:51of vipers because he cares to Princeton unique, the House of
- 1:24:56Prayer into a den of Thieves, he's agreeing with you.
- 1:25:03Yeah, and I'm going to religion. I just, you know, once I decided
- 1:25:09that I grew up in a cult, I hot picking something new isn't very
- 1:25:13simple. I can create a kind of scorched
- 1:25:16Earth, policy for the more pure forms of Christianity.
- 1:25:20If you're only exposure was to a cultish sect of one.
- 1:25:24Yeah, I've been in a cult as well.
- 1:25:26And I know people who left to say the same thing.
- 1:25:29They don't want anything to do with the church ever again.
- 1:25:32And it's sad because I believe that Jesus was the god of
- 1:25:42creation. Come to Earth to make to give us
- 1:25:46an olive branch. And that the proof for the the
- 1:25:56evidence that he was God's son, the Creator son was in the fact
- 1:26:03that he had the power of life and was able to resurrect both
- 1:26:07himself. Lazarus gyrus is daughter and
- 1:26:12the Widow's son and there is non scriptural.
- 1:26:19Extra biblical evidence for the resurrection and if you Google
- 1:26:23that there's some really good stuff on that which I found
- 1:26:27really compelling and that's one of the reasons why I was able to
- 1:26:34come to Faith. And add to what you were talking
- 1:26:42about earlier, Olivia about not liking charlatans and swindlers
- 1:26:47who use the gospel for their own personal gain.
- 1:26:50I as a bible-believing Christian am right there with you.
- 1:26:54I hate that stuff, too. Why don't I don't use that stuff
- 1:26:58for my game. When I make the content I do,
- 1:27:01and I make the arguments that I do, I say all this stuff because
- 1:27:05I really believe that I don't make money off of this.
- 1:27:07I don't like, yeah. Really will.
- 1:27:10I know, I mean, those Faith healing make a vow of Faith tape
- 1:27:14creatures, you know, Robert Tilton.
- 1:27:16I mean, the the ones who I'm talking about word disc, we
- 1:27:19could easily all agree on who they are, you know?
- 1:27:23But I don't think outside but, you know, the kind of Jesus, I
- 1:27:28would believe in Wrightwood is the universal.
- 1:27:31Jesus, meaning I'm a Universalist if I'm going to be
- 1:27:34a Christian that Jesus, is if what you're saying is true, get
- 1:27:38Jesus. God and Jesus died for all of
- 1:27:40our sins. That that.
- 1:27:43There's no sin. I can commit ever.
- 1:27:45That isn't already forgiven, Jesus can't fail at a task.
- 1:27:50Therefore, I am always forgiven, therefore nothing I do is going
- 1:27:55to get into heaven, meaning some faith.
- 1:27:57I have is irrelevant right. Bible though is it doesn't stop.
- 1:28:04The Bible doesn't stop. There is get to go to.
- 1:28:09Sorry, I think they would ruin Heaven.
- 1:28:12They remind me that. I don't know what, I don't know
- 1:28:14how to say how evil people will be judged, but I can just say
- 1:28:19that in the logic of what of it is is that we're all forgiven
- 1:28:24that that that's what the sacrifice was for that.
- 1:28:28We're just forgiving that that that it's fulfilled.
- 1:28:31It's done. Right sir, what is this on
- 1:28:35repentance, you have to agree, confess me.
- 1:28:38Ins agree. You have to agree that that
- 1:28:42certain things are sin. And then repent, you can't just
- 1:28:46keep going on your Merry way, and ignore everything.
- 1:28:49He tells us about how to behave and they will.
- 1:28:53I'm forgiven. So it doesn't matter.
- 1:28:55I mean, I'm gonna go thank because I'm forgiven.
- 1:28:59Well, that is not logical. It's fine.
- 1:29:04A hard question, I don't know. Yeah, as much as I would love
- 1:29:08for. But either be saved, I really
- 1:29:10honestly would and I cry for those that I love and I pray
- 1:29:15that they will have a deathbed conversion, but I do think that
- 1:29:19repentance is the prize we have. Well, I think being good, it may
- 1:29:24be because could not agree with the Lord.
- 1:29:28I don't think that you have to have a specific thing, you
- 1:29:31believe, it's what I mean, that, I think that you don't have to
- 1:29:34be a Christian, right? You don't have to believe in
- 1:29:37Jesus, that Jesus has no ego, right?
- 1:29:40So a Muslim can go to heaven, or would you or or a Hindu.
- 1:29:44As long as you're a good person in your car trouble.
- 1:29:47Oh boy, I don't care. I think the Bible was written by
- 1:29:52people. Well, you know, and translated
- 1:29:56by humans in space. I think that was written.
- 1:30:01God use those humans like we use pens to write stuff so I don't
- 1:30:04really see why that's an argument because I don't trust
- 1:30:08the god did anything? No, I don't trust the other
- 1:30:11human. We have.
- 1:30:12Well, if you can't trust nothing, people wrote down that
- 1:30:14you can't trust anyone. Who tells you that evolutionary
- 1:30:17theory isn't or billions of years is true because you begin
- 1:30:20to men and he wrote it down to, you beat me to the punch.
- 1:30:23I was just going to say, I didn't know we were talking
- 1:30:26about writing things down. I thought we were talking about
- 1:30:30To lose some and well yeah everyone saved, no matter what
- 1:30:35they do as a point may be done. No matter what they do but maybe
- 1:30:40intention fruit in keeping with repentance.
- 1:30:44Yeah. Like if you're a good person and
- 1:30:46you do your best and not Leanna, never any of us be perfect for
- 1:30:50repentance comes when you acknowledge that, the Bible
- 1:30:53standard of morality is true and that you have sinned against God
- 1:30:57by that standard and you repent of those.
- 1:31:00Those sins and accept Jesus. That's the only time when you're
- 1:31:04these Ovation occurs, the coolest what I must accept.
- 1:31:08This is where I think this is wrong.
- 1:31:19I wanted to say, sometimes I regret son.
- 1:31:25Let's lay it out. What's that Vehicles?
- 1:31:26Do a spot a real quick. A few years ago, one of the
- 1:31:30things that I used to encounter by atheists that I would, I
- 1:31:33would come up with a scenario like, you know, who knows?
- 1:31:36You know, they were asked to do you think Adolf?
- 1:31:37Hitler's in heaven. I says I don't know.
- 1:31:39They like, what do you mean you don't know Isis?
- 1:31:41Well, I mean for all I know he could have been an utter
- 1:31:44sincerity and his dying breath turned to Christ and repented is
- 1:31:48and you think that he would be in heaven after all the evil
- 1:31:50that he's not. I said absolutely if he truly
- 1:31:52repented of his sins at his dying breath On and Only God is
- 1:31:56the one who can see the sincerity of that then I believe
- 1:32:00that we would see him in heaven. Yes.
- 1:32:02But if he didn't then it's pretty obvious but if you
- 1:32:04didn't. Right wait so now here's my
- 1:32:07problem with universalism. My problem with universalism is
- 1:32:10that you know, these people, the same people agree with us
- 1:32:15regarding how Justice ought to be performed.
- 1:32:17Right. It's but they're saying that
- 1:32:19instead of the person who is that guy?
- 1:32:25Sandy you're going to have to reload your for some reason
- 1:32:27you're having issues over there. Any time you try refreshing
- 1:32:32coming back in that kind of thing.
- 1:32:35Yeah, yeah, that happens with me sometimes but see buddy
- 1:32:40universalism one doesn't have to repent and you know, ask Christ
- 1:32:45to forgive them, they can do whatever they want and then why
- 1:32:48they'll still end up going to heaven?
- 1:32:49Why? Because, well, God is a
- 1:32:51Universalist and he wants he desires that none should perish.
- 1:32:55That all look up to repent this but but they don't have to come
- 1:32:57to repentance under universalism instead of going to heaven.
- 1:33:01Yeah, right, right. So when you complain Olivia
- 1:33:04about the pain and evil and suffering in the world, you
- 1:33:06should be rejecting universalism.
- 1:33:08Because in that world view, none of that gets punished.
- 1:33:11Everyone gets away. Exactly, everybody's going to
- 1:33:13heaven, including you know, I often get me.
- 1:33:16Good, right. I'm trying to be like, it might
- 1:33:19be good if none of that matters. What she's now Universalist
- 1:33:24though? Either right.
- 1:33:25That's just who I just think. I don't know that everyone gets
- 1:33:29in, but I don't think that you have to have a, there's a magic
- 1:33:32incantation nor do, I Think Jesus or God are truly
- 1:33:35egomaniacs that require our worship or our acknowledgement.
- 1:33:40I just think that is wrong. It sounds wrong to me that you
- 1:33:43worship me. Jesus doesn't want to worship.
- 1:33:46Jesus is not an egomaniac. Jesus forgives, you and loves
- 1:33:50you. How come when his disciples
- 1:33:52worshipped him in the Gospel of John and the others?
- 1:33:55Hospitals. He didn't say anything negative
- 1:33:57to them in response. Why did he accept their worship
- 1:34:00then? Yeah.
- 1:34:01Thing boring people. Worshiped.
- 1:34:03Jesus, as God. I'm not aware that people with
- 1:34:12the baby. It doesn't make much sense.
- 1:34:31You're gonna tell me Kings from around the world, stood up for a
- 1:34:34baby and a teenage mom and he's nothing special and has to get
- 1:34:40crucified. That doesn't work.
- 1:34:42We can clearly show. You several passages where Jesus
- 1:34:45is worshipped and he'd never rebuked.
- 1:34:47Anybody should ever go go. There's a whole bunch of them.
- 1:34:52Yeah, there's a whole bunch. Good one, Patrick.
- 1:34:56Yeah, all's weren't talking about.
- 1:34:58Oh, got a screen share. I think we're sortie.
- 1:35:05Isn't the scriptures? You, if you I know.
- 1:35:10But she said that Jesus never accepted worship.
- 1:35:12And here we have in John 20, verse 20, 28 and 29.
- 1:35:17Said to him, my Lord and my God, then Jesus told him because you
- 1:35:22have seen me. You have believed blessed.
- 1:35:25I have not seen and yet have believed.
- 1:35:28Wait, I think he was cussing, that's what I think.
- 1:35:32So, when Thomas said my Lord and my God, Jesus was saying that,
- 1:35:36you believe I am those things and people who haven't seen me
- 1:35:39in believe, those things are more blessed.
- 1:35:43So, Jesus accepted being called God, he accepted being called
- 1:35:47worship, except it prayer, he accepted worship, he never
- 1:35:51rebuilt anybody. However, we do see the With
- 1:35:56angels and maybe a cult leader, but he had some good ideas.
- 1:36:01That's what one of the Roman historians claimed but that's
- 1:36:03not borne out by the evidence. Yeah, yeah, you know, I mean
- 1:36:08worship, right? I'm accepting as much of the
- 1:36:14Christian myth us as I can to try to work with the culture
- 1:36:17that I live in about how to convince people to not be
- 1:36:21shitting humans and how did not be shitty human myself.
- 1:36:25Cause I don't want to be but gosh I'm not going to if you
- 1:36:30really want to get down to it. Any guy who thinks his God is
- 1:36:33crazy and that's going to include Jesus.
- 1:36:36Stupid question, you? Yeah, we seem like a really
- 1:36:39really kind person. You love.
- 1:36:41Love love and compassion. How can you explain how an
- 1:36:44unguided process to Nature gave you all these abilities to have
- 1:36:48this kind of love and peace for people.
- 1:36:54Because I think that Evolution provides for that, that we
- 1:37:01evolve to get morality, because it helps us that working in
- 1:37:05communities and having families provided security for me to
- 1:37:11trial, that it would help you though.
- 1:37:14Can you explain how this the ones that had it survived
- 1:37:17better? That's how it works.
- 1:37:19So that's the process of natural selection.
- 1:37:22Don't even care if you die. No, he doesn't.
- 1:37:26There's a care if you suffer, no, as Evolution ever seen you a
- 1:37:30Christmas card or a no, it is never done.
- 1:37:33Do any of these things? Well, because those things
- 1:37:38create a structure, like create individuals who have better
- 1:37:42chance of survival. Like, if people like families,
- 1:37:45that have who love and take care of one another, their kids
- 1:37:48survive more and have more kids, that Evolution doesn't care if
- 1:37:52You die. Or if you evolution is just the
- 1:37:55process, that happens. The only things that are the
- 1:37:58beans themselves. No, it's not.
- 1:38:00Well, I mean, it's Guided by the things alive.
- 1:38:04But you said that, you just said that it picks, what will help
- 1:38:07out the living? There we go, doesn't take
- 1:38:10things. Either help or don't help.
- 1:38:12Right? So the things that have
- 1:38:14advantages to live, and the things that have disadvantages
- 1:38:18die, and that's how it works. So, if you don't have kids into
- 1:38:22the Next Generation, you, you don't pass on your genes.
- 1:38:27So, you know, angry loners who are violent.
- 1:38:30They tend to not have too many children.
- 1:38:34And people who have morals and live in communities, and help,
- 1:38:37their friends and neighbors and family, they tend to stick
- 1:38:40around people, stick up for them, they don't die, they have
- 1:38:42families. They give, you know, people help
- 1:38:44them out when they're having a rough time, you know.
- 1:38:47That's so that means they have more kids and then those people
- 1:38:58like the idea of evolution, like it's a thing.
- 1:39:04Well, no, no, I'm asking you what are these these called
- 1:39:07these mutations that you speak of, that was brought into the
- 1:39:11species to make it give a damn the what makes people care, I'm
- 1:39:17asking you through Evolution, what did it?
- 1:39:20What is the name of these jeans? Are these setups that created
- 1:39:23this construct of morality Well, I mean we got us we got a
- 1:39:28complex and enough brain to understand them and form these
- 1:39:33ideas, we made them up. What are the name of the
- 1:39:36mechanisms that started this? So I don't moral system.
- 1:39:41Well, more. Well, as other animals have
- 1:39:46these moral systems to, you know, you can watch YouTube
- 1:39:49videos of dogs helping each other out, you know, protecting
- 1:39:52their injured friend or cats doing the same thing or even
- 1:39:56less. Beings creatures.
- 1:39:57So at a certain point, like it's part of our biology to have
- 1:40:02empathy for your fellow creature, you know, there it is.
- 1:40:07There's a lot of people that whose very existence in life
- 1:40:11Behavior would disagree with that.
- 1:40:13Well, that's, that may be true. Right?
- 1:40:15There are abnormal people and there's not one clear path.
- 1:40:21That anything takes like there's a definite advice, survival
- 1:40:25advantage to being In an evil person and just eating your name
- 1:40:30with me. Let me, let me show you
- 1:40:31something real quick and then explain to me because you're a
- 1:40:34compassionate kind person. You seem like you have a lot of
- 1:40:37good ideas in your head, but how do you explain things like this?
- 1:40:43I can't explain evil, right? I don't understand evil.
- 1:40:47I don't really comprehend it. And probably the existence of
- 1:40:51evil is one of the great mysteries of, you know, why?
- 1:40:55I don't just believe in God. God, created evil, okay?
- 1:40:58Then you're not real powerful. You think about that?
- 1:41:02It sounds to me as though you're actually convinced an objective
- 1:41:06evil does. In fact exist, you keep saying
- 1:41:09this over and over evil. Is real.
- 1:41:13Now, think about this, Olivia. If there is such a thing as
- 1:41:16objective evil, then, there must also be objective.
- 1:41:19Well, no, it's a subjective evil.
- 1:41:22Like morality when I speak in Morality, I am speaking.
- 1:41:26Truly subjectively I don't have any objective truth because I
- 1:41:30can't, you know, if I'm going to Clay I don't claim some
- 1:41:33objective food as far as good or bad or things like that.
- 1:41:37Yeah, big know. I may speak with conviction, no,
- 1:41:41I know. Mr. Trudeau's I might speak with
- 1:41:44conviction like I believe me anymore you're basically saying
- 1:41:49he was nothing more than an opinion.
- 1:41:50Now I don't believe in objective facts necessarily know but you
- 1:41:56don't behave that way. We can see in your conversations
- 1:41:59with us trying to do you really believe evil exists like I
- 1:42:02believe just doing this I believe.
- 1:42:07Yeah. Well, I had to give up whether
- 1:42:13torture was evil, so I don't have nothing claim.
- 1:42:17Olivia, Olivia, you know, in your heart that there is true
- 1:42:21evil out there. You know, that if a guy goes out
- 1:42:24there and rapes murders, mutilates children, you're going
- 1:42:27to consider clear everything and you feel it in your guts.
- 1:42:31So don't just try to see that. It's an opinion.
- 1:42:33It's wired into, you know what the difference between good.
- 1:42:36Well, that's what, that's what I was, you know, going for
- 1:42:39earlier. But in that debate where, I'm
- 1:42:42you know you're saying, what's the objective truth?
- 1:42:44I'm like, I don't know, I don't know, you're not good.
- 1:42:46It's not going to be a book on a deck that I haven't seen written
- 1:42:49by God. What we're seeing here on our
- 1:42:53interaction with you in this stream is that when you talk
- 1:42:56about evil, you talk about it. As if it's very real, it's very
- 1:43:00personal and makes you very upset.
- 1:43:02Your won't reaction, is that it's real.
- 1:43:04But then when your worldview kicks in you for using it, that
- 1:43:08it's not real. It's just a subjective.
- 1:43:10No. I I don't know.
- 1:43:14The argument is correct. If you only believe your robe
- 1:43:19you strongly enough, I don't think you'd be as emotional as
- 1:43:22you are when you talk about evil and pain and separate them,
- 1:43:26we've always bad. But for example earlier I you
- 1:43:30didn't accept that. I, you know, that torture is
- 1:43:34objectively evil and so I have nothing outside of that.
- 1:43:38So I would say so then I gave up Being any objective morality to
- 1:43:44move the conversation along. So in our conversation, I give
- 1:43:49I've already seceded it. Okay, let's just drop objective
- 1:43:52Morality In that if we can't agree that torture is
- 1:43:56objectively, evil outside of a book telling us.
- 1:43:59So then we just can't agree on one more.
- 1:44:04Let the record show that tto are never has and never will endorse
- 1:44:08torture just right Olivia Explain why it is that you say,
- 1:44:18where you get this idea or concept of this, he was trying
- 1:44:22to get you to basically concede. That there has to be an
- 1:44:25objective creator of reality in order for you to make statements
- 1:44:29like this. He wasn't trying to say
- 1:44:31tortures. All right, that.
- 1:44:32Hey, let's everybody get to it. You know, kill some kids, right?
- 1:44:37He's okay. Well, I was like, well, I don't
- 1:44:40have any factoid that Proves objective morality so I can't
- 1:44:45like okay I'll give up that idea and a few, don't be honest
- 1:44:48position is exactly honest, you know.
- 1:44:51Yeah, yeah. And that's all I was saying is
- 1:44:53that, you know, whenever I have these discussions with atheists
- 1:44:56or anybody who takes morality to be a subjective.
- 1:44:58I said, listen man, if all you're going to say is that this
- 1:45:02is my opinion, I think this is wrong because he got a yatta
- 1:45:06yatta fine. I'll leave it at that.
- 1:45:08The problem, then with the contention comes, when they make
- 1:45:11statements about somebody else's worldview or somebody who's
- 1:45:15view, whose contrary to their own and then they say, oh,
- 1:45:18that's wrong. That means you're an evil
- 1:45:20person. Well, okay, now you have an
- 1:45:22obligation to explain to us how, you know, for a fact in an
- 1:45:26objective fashion that this person's view of this moral
- 1:45:30action is wrong. And this is where I think this
- 1:45:33objective is fails to give an answer.
- 1:45:38Because they can't help. But to resort to, again, some
- 1:45:41form of subjectivity, where pragmatism utilitarianism
- 1:45:44conventionalism, you know, consequentialism all rooted in
- 1:45:49some form of subjectivity, but they can't get it, they can't
- 1:45:53get away from that. I'd like to take a little break
- 1:45:56here. He's been in this room for
- 1:45:58several minutes and I haven't seen him flash of ding-a-ling.
- 1:46:01So I'm assuming this your lizard.
- 1:46:05Yes, good. I was right?
- 1:46:08This is basically like to talk about mr.
- 1:46:10Lizard, since you're here. They just went over.
- 1:46:14Certain topics are brought up, I will.
- 1:46:17Okay. Hey I just wanted to acknowledge
- 1:46:19that while we talked. It ta Titi or I'm about to head
- 1:46:23out but I'm justjust curious. Nothing big.
- 1:46:26Well, what's your what's the T? T0 are stand for just curious.
- 1:46:29It's an acronym for truth, the objective reality truth.
- 1:46:34The objective reality. Yes.
- 1:46:37There's a there's a colon between truth and right.
- 1:46:41Gotcha. Gotcha.
- 1:46:42All right. Cool.
- 1:46:43Well, that's nice. Talking everybody Olivia.
- 1:46:46It's good talking to you great, talking to you.
- 1:46:49You're very pleasant person. So I appreciate it.
- 1:46:51Thank you, Brett. Always a pleasure.
- 1:46:55I'll be seeing you soon. Michael.
- 1:46:57Don't forget to check out the links in the description.
- 1:47:01You can check out tto our Channel.
- 1:47:02He's got some really good content over there.
- 1:47:05So this is eckle, folks, make sure you check out his channel
- 1:47:07as well. He's a fantastic artist Buckle,
- 1:47:11always a pleasure to talk to you.
- 1:47:13Is that that's subjective? That's subjective, right?
- 1:47:18They're definitely. All right.
- 1:47:23Well guys, take care and God bless.
- 1:47:30Constantly keep kid. I don't like that.
- 1:47:38So how do we go from here as we near the end of this magic
- 1:47:42Journey? I just think that I am the
- 1:47:46happiest Rock snot and that God looks on.
- 1:47:50And I think that all of us rocks not here on Earth.
- 1:47:54If you look at us from Google Maps, I think that we are rocks,
- 1:47:57not, and there's nothing to be ashamed about.
- 1:48:02All right. I don't really have a response
- 1:48:04to that. Why do you believe your box?
- 1:48:07Not were there? I just think why not?
- 1:48:18So, since you're here, Olivia, and since we spent so much time,
- 1:48:21talking religion, and worldviews, is there any Topic
- 1:48:24in your mind that's not related to any of that that you'd like
- 1:48:27to talk about here on the stream?
- 1:48:30I think that we should be nicer to one another in this nation
- 1:48:35and stop trying to make hateful laws against LGBT people because
- 1:48:40we are great. Ed nice.
- 1:48:44Are we referring are we referring to Florida by any
- 1:48:48chance? Yes, Florida.
- 1:48:51And there's other states to not just Florida.
- 1:48:54But Florida is the meanest so far.
- 1:48:57Well, I guess since you're here, and since we've brought this up,
- 1:49:01I've read the bill in question. It's caused all this brouhaha.
- 1:49:05And in a nutshell, it basically just says that with certain age
- 1:49:09kids, you're not allowed as a teacher to talk about sexual
- 1:49:12topics that, basically, the kids have to be much older before,
- 1:49:16you can even think about entertaining such a discussion
- 1:49:19with them, what I'm wondering is what's wrong with that?
- 1:49:24Well, I think that Having a rainbow flag in your classroom.
- 1:49:29Doesn't necessarily teach children to have sex.
- 1:49:33I know I do. That's not what the bill is
- 1:49:35condemning. It's are not allowing its
- 1:49:37discussion about your sexual life with children.
- 1:49:40That's what the bills condemning what it would do.
- 1:49:45So you have to talk about intercourse or is it just
- 1:49:48mentioning that you're not cause you're not allowed to talk about
- 1:49:52us with, right? We can agree on that.
- 1:49:56So that Common sense. But my problem with milk because
- 1:50:00the bill is just that, my understanding though, is that it
- 1:50:04is more than just stop, right? If it were just that we wouldn't
- 1:50:07have a problem. My understanding is that a gay
- 1:50:12teacher has to quit, their job, rather than get sued, because
- 1:50:17that's the provision of the bill that they got to school from
- 1:50:22their honeymoon, to their husband, and they had to lose
- 1:50:25their job because It's somehow a violation of the law and they're
- 1:50:28going to get sued. Did they talk about all this
- 1:50:31stuff with their students? Your bitch.
- 1:50:33What did they say? No, they didn't say they had
- 1:50:35anal sex with her husband they said they went on their
- 1:50:38honeymoon with her husband. How was riding wrong way because
- 1:50:44you assume that being married how sexual what are you gonna
- 1:50:48hold that standard? Does this train teachers to?
- 1:50:51Well, I just think it's weird. I don't think straight teachers
- 1:50:55should be talking about their sex lives of children.
- 1:50:57Either would mention that was be serious.
- 1:51:01How is saying? I was just got back from my
- 1:51:03honeymoon teaching children about sex, but to be fair, I
- 1:51:07haven't had a chance to read the article.
- 1:51:09You out there might be an Did I read an article?
- 1:51:13I read an article last week that a teacher took all their clothes
- 1:51:16off in class inside to run around in circles.
- 1:51:19So, I don't know. I got to read the whole article
- 1:51:21to see what's going on. Teachers been doing some weird
- 1:51:24stuff lately. Not the kind of stuff that used
- 1:51:26to do, in my classroom. There's been a lot of stories
- 1:51:29over the years, about teachers grooming their students who were
- 1:51:33like 14 and veloso bills. Like this are basically part of
- 1:51:38making sure things like that. Don't happen and there.
- 1:51:41R have been teachers who have openly talked about their sexual
- 1:51:44lives. We have children of the ages
- 1:51:46that the bill says, you're not allowed to talk to.
- 1:51:48So that's why the bill is existing right now.
- 1:51:52Why it was passed. All right, so here's what
- 1:51:55actually happened according to hold on a second, hold on.
- 1:51:59According to this, it wasn't just a matter.
- 1:52:02Somebody talking about honeymoon, they were having out,
- 1:52:05Pride bracelets to high school students.
- 1:52:08Okay, we promoting and endorsing I don't know if your voice isn't
- 1:52:14high school student. Why is that talking about sex?
- 1:52:17A rainbow bracelet isn't sex? Why Olivia I'm not trying to be
- 1:52:22cold or anything but you claim to have read the article and you
- 1:52:25kind of misrepresented. I'm not sure what I said rainbow
- 1:52:29flag so a rainbow does not represent sex but first off in a
- 1:52:34honeymoon doesn't represent section D and you said young
- 1:52:37children. High School is not young.
- 1:52:39Young children. High School.
- 1:52:41Is it dumb age of puberty? I don't know if you want to
- 1:52:47continue down that road because if you're under 18 In your a
- 1:52:51minor you're not an internal minor.
- 1:52:53Is not a baby. There's a you said
- 1:52:55age-appropriate rainbow bracelet is age appropriate for a 15 year
- 1:53:00old Why wouldn't it be well, the article also.
- 1:53:06It's probably important, doesn't extend to any of these machines
- 1:53:10up. And you can you hear me Brett
- 1:53:16first and then lizard go? This also says, this was a
- 1:53:21substitute teacher. It only been on the job for a
- 1:53:24little bit decided to start promoting all these different
- 1:53:27things. So this wasn't like a consistent
- 1:53:30teacher that had been around for years and then all of Sudden
- 1:53:33this happen apparently. They had had policies and rules
- 1:53:36and how they wanted things and he didn't give a damn.
- 1:53:40Yeah hehe. So what was lizard going to say?
- 1:53:46I wish I was asking, does it have to do with basically
- 1:53:48anything and everything? That even though lives you
- 1:53:51something gay? I don't want our time about the
- 1:53:56bill itself. Yeah.
- 1:53:58Like basically picked up throught the prohibition of any
- 1:54:01of that stuff. Yeah, it was a really short
- 1:54:04bill. I think it was like 9 or 10
- 1:54:06pages in length. The thing, I remember seeing
- 1:54:09that was the park cause and all the brouhaha was that basically
- 1:54:13it prohibited teachers from having conversations about sex
- 1:54:18and sexual, activity and homosexuality and all that stuff
- 1:54:22with children below a certain age.
- 1:54:23I think it was like Maybe third grade and Below, you couldn't
- 1:54:27have those conversations with students of that age.
- 1:54:30It's either third grade or maybe it was fourth grade like they
- 1:54:34allowed like past a certain grade, they deemed it
- 1:54:36appropriate, but below a certain grade in age they deemed it not
- 1:54:41appropriate to have those conversations with those
- 1:54:43particular age children. That's what the bill was saying
- 1:54:47from my reading of it. Yeah, I understood, it was K
- 1:54:52through 3 K through third grade but then now hearing people just
- 1:54:57know it's all the way through all of public education.
- 1:55:00You're not allowed to say, it's okay to be gay.
- 1:55:02Well, which is you should be able to say.
- 1:55:05It's okay to be gay to Children. Additional like schools can make
- 1:55:09their own policies that aren't part of law that they can
- 1:55:11prohibit stuff like that. Especially if they're like a
- 1:55:14private school or something. If they don't want any kind of
- 1:55:17activism going on at all on campus and they just wanted to A
- 1:55:20neutral place of learning and growth in that regard.
- 1:55:24Then they can certainly enact their own policies which may
- 1:55:27actually be the case of the story.
- 1:55:29We were talking about just a little bit ago about that,
- 1:55:31substitute teacher, it could be, they just had a policy that
- 1:55:35didn't allow that kind of activism.
- 1:55:37And he just had this Locker, was violated, said, their policy was
- 1:55:42violated and that if he was actually informed, but he went
- 1:55:46ahead and did it anyway. So, apparently, He was more
- 1:55:50interested in him now. Pride bracelets to the kids and
- 1:55:54actually do what the job informed him to do.
- 1:55:57That's the way it works. So TT work, you go up to your
- 1:55:59job right now and they tell you, I got rules and you give them
- 1:56:03the middle finger and say up yours asshole.
- 1:56:05I'm going to do what I want to do.
- 1:56:06Well, you should expect that, it's time to go packing, right?
- 1:56:10Right. Yeah.
- 1:56:11Of course, I had a horrible job experience where people like
- 1:56:14that didn't get punished at all and I got punished for following
- 1:56:17all the rules and doing a good job.
- 1:56:19So, My personal experience, conflicts a little bit with
- 1:56:22that, but I get what you're saying.
- 1:56:26I just think that, regardless of that teacher, whether or not,
- 1:56:30why would he handed it out to everyone?
- 1:56:32I agree. But children need to hear that.
- 1:56:35It's okay to be gay because they hear that, it's not okay to
- 1:56:40much. Olivia, how would you feel if it
- 1:56:44got turned around and people started going up into the
- 1:56:48schools and handing out bracelets, save, it's okay to be
- 1:56:51straight. In fact, it's more awesome
- 1:56:53sauce. Would, you would you feel that
- 1:56:55that caused the problem? Oh, did they already do that?
- 1:57:06Oh my gosh. The entire culture is
- 1:57:09sex-obsessed and heterosexual, the constant reinforcement of
- 1:57:14via all the religions and just all advertising, just the
- 1:57:19culture, everything is straight obsessed and kind of
- 1:57:22sex-obsessed, but I saw more love you too.
- 1:57:44Very few commercials have lgbtq people in them very far.
- 1:57:56I mean it depends. No, but the fact is, they are
- 1:58:00represented in way more ads than they should be.
- 1:58:03Why I don't think we're in nearly enough ads.
- 1:58:08Because there's not that many I don't watch many ads but I don't
- 1:58:12know. I can't think of out of sight of
- 1:58:15a few and I would only know them because conservatives get upset,
- 1:58:19but I've never really seen a gay ad ever.
- 1:58:25I just never seen it. If that mean.
- 1:58:54She doesn't watch much TV or similar content on?
- 1:58:58Streaming internet sites. Congratulations.
- 1:59:01Yeah. I guess.
- 1:59:02Maybe that. I've not where it's at.
- 1:59:04I mean, I just don't watch. I mean I guess I don't see like
- 1:59:08mainstream things where I think normal people would be not, you
- 1:59:11know, like non-gay people I don't know, I don't actively
- 1:59:23seek them out. Do you know this person called
- 1:59:26this one guy? Yes, he is a toggle attacked and
- 1:59:31he owes me 50 bucks. But he's not going to do
- 1:59:35anything. He's like to do anything.
- 1:59:36Loose, not right. I'm very racist.
- 1:59:39I'm very racist. So, I might accidentally say
- 1:59:42racist, joke, here, and there be careful with that.
- 1:59:46If you do that, my hair will light on fire.
- 1:59:50No, the screens delete it and get the channel is Strike.
- 1:59:55Don't be don't strike. Don't sound right?
- 1:59:57That's a, that's a damn lie because I'm very racist on my
- 2:00:00streams and I haven't gotten one taken down yet.
- 2:00:03Well we're not going to do that. Anyway, that's right.
- 2:00:07Now your chance I'm a very lovable racist.
- 2:00:13People tend to like oh look at that race is, he's very handsome
- 2:00:16and cute. I'll be the bad guy.
- 2:00:33I was just doing a check up on something and you still getting
- 2:00:37the suck though and let's not in a good way.
- 2:00:41Huh? Well yes protect your channel.
- 2:00:43Don't let people just say anything.
- 2:00:45They think they can say, yeah, I don't think it'll racism is cute
- 2:00:49or adorable so thank you. Yeah.
- 2:00:55I do see someone who would say that probably had not good.
- 2:00:58Intentions may be. Are there listening to me edgy?
- 2:01:03Because that's what a lot of people do so well, that's pretty
- 2:01:06edgy. I've seen plenty of that in
- 2:01:10young people these days. Well, also act, it's a weird
- 2:01:15form of activism from some people.
- 2:01:16They'll go in. I'm going to do this bad thing
- 2:01:19and give you a chance to block them and boot them out.
- 2:01:22And if you don't then you accept responsibility for the bad thing
- 2:01:25that they said they were going to do right now.
- 2:01:28There is one more thing and I know this going to come off.
- 2:01:32Full. But this because they have been
- 2:01:34flagged in their own channel, it looks like they get what 5
- 2:01:37subscribers then their mom and uncles watching the nobody else.
- 2:01:41So of course they gobble for it. Yeah that's part of the whole
- 2:01:45story behind any of their Channel stuff either so I
- 2:01:48wouldn't comment on that at this point give him a couple more
- 2:01:52years they grow up and mature a little bit.
- 2:01:54They can come back. Yeah everyone can get a second
- 2:01:58chance. It's all About the love, love.
- 2:02:04We need more love in the world and I need, who's a prepper, in
- 2:02:08case of the end of the world. I need to find somewhere to flee
- 2:02:10from Houston. What?
- 2:02:13I don't think, we're not going to go into the ground like
- 2:02:22beavers or something like that. We want to find the biggest
- 2:02:27place for the impact going to happen.
- 2:02:29So it happens immediately and ends us.
- 2:02:31We do Not want to live in The Fallout Universe, ladies and
- 2:02:34gentlemen, video games great. We don't want to live that down.
- 2:02:40Yeah, becoming food shortages, and political strife, and
- 2:02:43spineless in the streets. Apparently, Cindy, let me ask
- 2:02:47you a question real quick. I don't know if I've ever asked
- 2:02:50you about this tea to our Libyan company.
- 2:02:52If you want to, what do you think about funerals and
- 2:02:55graveyard? So you think that this is a
- 2:02:57waste of time. I told my wife, because we've
- 2:03:00been to so many funerals and They're so expensive.
- 2:03:03I said honey, if I die, I don't wake up one morning, just put me
- 2:03:06in a hefty bag. Put me out by the trash, don't
- 2:03:09waste money on this. How do you guys feel about this?
- 2:03:12She says oh no hon. Very oh no the hell with it.
- 2:03:16Just put me in there they told me in the back of the truck and
- 2:03:18take my ass off somewhere and and all she has to do is pay the
- 2:03:22garbage bill. That's it you know sewage the
- 2:03:24tip. Well here in Alabama you're
- 2:03:28allowed to bury on your property so that's easy.
- 2:03:32I don't think that's legal. Most places wouldn't be cheaper
- 2:03:36though. Of course.
- 2:03:38Don't like surprise. The trash people put a letter.
- 2:03:41I say this prick. He was here for a while but he's
- 2:03:44done take him out of here. I mean that's deeper 3,500
- 2:03:49bucks. Last time I buried somebody.
- 2:03:54What do you think is expensive? I think you can have if we got
- 2:04:00rid of all that stuff though, huh?
- 2:04:02We don't say golf courses. We got to get rid of graveyards
- 2:04:05and golf courses and what did the biggest waste of space?
- 2:04:11He cures like, oh man, Brad, come on, come on.
- 2:04:14I don't know here, right now. I think it is it expensive and I
- 2:04:20think that, yeah, it takes a lot of space in the sixth.
- 2:04:24Instead. Cremation isn't a whole lot
- 2:04:28cheaper, only a few hundred dollars, maybe a thousand
- 2:04:31dollars cheaper. And then you still have to
- 2:04:34dispose of the ashes, you're not allowed to just dump them.
- 2:04:39Is the burial costs including the casket because I thought
- 2:04:44caskets were expensive like get a thousands on their own.
- 2:04:50All right, I'm gonna go ahead and no, I was a dumb question
- 2:04:54for at 25 minutes left on the stream, okay?
- 2:05:08I've done really good to I. Haven't had a nanny nicotine
- 2:05:10this whole time because I left my fake vaporizer inside.
- 2:05:13No groans. Yeah, I'm slowly quitting.
- 2:05:20Wow, you, well, how do you let's?
- 2:05:25Let's talk from the 80s world do as well as Christian worldview,
- 2:05:29whenever it comes to graveyards, the atheists, a believe that
- 2:05:32when their people die, it's over.
- 2:05:34It's just like a shell sitting there, right?
- 2:05:36So why Bother with that or even cremation.
- 2:05:40Then the Christian, you already believe that the soul is in some
- 2:05:43kind of stasis where it is just waiting for God to resurrected
- 2:05:47the body's dead. Right?
- 2:05:49So what's the point so that we can, the point is for the living
- 2:05:56to mourn and to show honor show honor in the reform, the
- 2:06:03community to try to fill in, what's going to happen.
- 2:06:06Now, that that Sin is gone. Who's going to take their place?
- 2:06:09It's about that whole dynamic. It's about the living.
- 2:06:12Funerals are not about the dead there about the living.
- 2:06:18I think it's about remembering, it's about remembering the dead
- 2:06:21paint longer them. And then moving on for the
- 2:06:24living, I do know that when I had to face that decision with
- 2:06:29my son, there was no way in hell.
- 2:06:31I was going to burn him. So, cremation option.
- 2:06:39I decide I find it fascinating that there's both.
- 2:06:42I've asked non-believers about the cells, both religious, and
- 2:06:46there's a lot of non-believers that see, sanctity in the
- 2:06:49sacredness of this. So, I find that really, really,
- 2:06:52it's beautiful and it's compelling for me and it shows
- 2:06:55that there's something something there that is pulling them,
- 2:07:00that, that makes sense. What do you mean?
- 2:07:05Well, what if you were to talk to a non-believer and ask them,
- 2:07:08how would they feel if someone that they care that they felt
- 2:07:11was important? We're to just be completely
- 2:07:14wiped out or taken to a trash dump or something like that.
- 2:07:17They make it very clear. That, that would, that's no good
- 2:07:20for them. They prefer either to cremation
- 2:07:22or the burial. So there's a sanctity, even for
- 2:07:27a body. You see what I mean?
- 2:07:29Sunday, I find that I see what you're saying. but the body
- 2:07:36represents the soul because the person that you loved Right.
- 2:07:43For people. Faith would be women.
- 2:07:46See you later Olivia. It's always a pleasure talking
- 2:07:49to. You have a good one by the be,
- 2:07:55well, tto are. I've already babbled on enough
- 2:07:58that topic seemed to really, really get people on low
- 2:08:02goodness gracious. The trash dump, really breath.
- 2:08:05Yeah, and Parable, what are you gonna do?
- 2:08:07You got any kind of want to bring up the end?
- 2:08:10It Well, now, real topics off the top of my head.
- 2:08:18Yeah, I think we're go ahead and just wrap things up here.
- 2:08:21We're kind of in that timeframe. I wanted to do anyway.
- 2:08:23So I guess last thing I'll say before we cut things off, if you
- 2:08:30haven't already, subscribe to my YouTube channel.
- 2:08:33Link is in the description box below.
- 2:08:36My other channels for joshu TV, YouTube and bit shooter.
- 2:08:39Also, in the description box below.
- 2:08:41If those are more interesting to you, and of course, my Gap in my
- 2:08:44Getters in the description box. And if you want to support the
- 2:08:48Quarter project. I mentioned at the start of the
- 2:08:50show, you can check out the links in the description below.
- 2:08:54And also, if you want to use my social media site creation,
- 2:08:59social, all you have to do is go to your internet browser, go to
- 2:09:03the URL box, type in creation, dot social and it'll take you
- 2:09:06right there and that way you can talk to me in a bit more of a
- 2:09:11free environment where you don't have to worry about saying, the
- 2:09:14wrong words and waking up the next day to find yourself in
- 2:09:17jail, or Band. So yeah, you can join me there
- 2:09:20too. So did you you are mention
- 2:09:23Odyssey earlier though, tqr. Did you end up sinking up your
- 2:09:27channel. So your videos have copies and
- 2:09:29all that. Now I have an odyssey Channel
- 2:09:31already and I put some videos to it but they do a lot of the same
- 2:09:36stuff that bit shoot does in terms of their censorship
- 2:09:39systems and their policies. So I don't really view them as a
- 2:09:42good viable long-term solution. Hence why I'm trying to make My
- 2:09:48own site, would raise funds for it because I know there is a
- 2:09:52fact that is syncs up with your channel and any new video.
- 2:09:56You put it'll upload it for you. Yeah, that is a benefit but I
- 2:10:00don't really use it much anyway. I mean the only time I would go
- 2:10:03there would be two backup of video.
- 2:10:05I'd be watching videos on other sites all the time.
- 2:10:09So yeah, I don't I don't really have a reason for myself to
- 2:10:14invest into it long term. Alright, anyway, before I end
- 2:10:19the show, I'm gonna go ahead over to joshu TV really quick,
- 2:10:23and the recording of the stream on there.
- 2:10:25And then I'll end the recording here on YouTube and it's got to
- 2:10:29get to the street. You gotta in both of them.
- 2:10:32Well, there's a there's a funky way to save your live stream
- 2:10:36recordings on Joshua TV. There's a stop and start record
- 2:10:40button on the actual streaming page.
- 2:10:43So I have to hit both of those to make sure the Make sure the
- 2:10:48stream stops there. Okay, it worked?
- 2:10:51I just gotta let it finish right there.
- 2:10:56Okay, boom, that's done. And with that.
- 2:11:00We're gone folks. Adios good night guys.
- 2:11:03Yay.
