  It's
• 0:37
  the
• 0:37
  last
• 0:38
  day
• 0:38
  of
• 0:38
  the
• 0:38
  year,
• 0:38
  and
• 0:39
  for
• 0:39
  so
• 0:39
  many
• 0:39
  people,
• 0:40
  this
• 0:40
  day
• 0:40
  brings
• 0:41
  pressure
• 0:41
  more
• 0:41
  than
• 0:42
  celebration.
• 0:43
  So
• 0:43
  let's
• 0:44
  take
• 0:44
  a
• 0:44
  moment
• 0:44
  and
• 0:44
  breathe
• 0:44
  together.
• 0:46
  Do
• 0:46
  you
• 0:46
  ever
• 0:46
  set
• 0:46
  resolutions
• 0:47
  with
• 0:47
  big
• 0:48
  hope
• 0:48
  only
• 0:48
  to
• 0:48
  stall
• 0:48
  out
• 0:49
  by
• 0:49
  week
• 0:49
  two?
• 0:49
  Hey,
• 0:49
  listen,
• 0:50
  for
• 0:50
  me,
• 0:50
  it's
• 0:50
  usually
• 0:50
  day
• 0:51
  two,
• 0:51
  sometimes
• 0:51
  hour
• 0:52
  two.
• 0:52
  That's
• 0:53
  why
• 0:53
  I
• 0:53
  don't
• 0:53
  believe
• 0:53
  in
• 0:53
  those
• 0:53
  stupid
• 0:54
  resolutions.
• 0:55
  Do
• 0:55
  you
• 0:55
  ever
• 0:56
  think,
• 0:56
  why
• 0:56
  can't
• 0:57
  I
• 0:57
  stay
• 0:57
  consistent?
• 0:58
  Why
• 0:58
  do
• 0:58
  I
• 0:59
  lose
• 0:59
  momentum
• 1:00
  so
• 1:00
  fast?
• 1:01
  Friend,
• 1:01
  hear
• 1:02
  this
• 1:02
  with
• 1:02
  grace.
• 1:03
  Resolutions
• 1:04
  fade,
• 1:04
  but
• 1:05
  discipleship,
• 1:06
  hey,
• 1:06
  that
• 1:06
  endures.
• 1:07
  Spiritual
• 1:08
  growth
• 1:08
  and
• 1:09
  financial
• 1:09
  growth
• 1:09
  aren't
• 1:10
  sprints.
• 1:10
  They're
• 1:11
  a
• 1:11
  steady
• 1:11
  walk
• 1:12
  with
• 1:12
  Jesus.
• 1:13
  You're
• 1:13
  not
• 1:13
  trying
• 1:13
  to
• 1:13
  win
• 1:14
  January.
• 1:14
  You're
• 1:15
  trying
• 1:15
  to
• 1:15
  learn
• 1:16
  how
• 1:16
  to
• 1:16
  walk
• 1:16
  the
• 1:16
  journey.
• 1:17
  Because
• 1:17
  in
• 1:18
  the
• 1:18
  kingdom
• 1:18
  of
• 1:18
  God,
• 1:19
  faithfulness
• 1:19
  beats
• 1:20
  intensity
• 1:20
  every
• 1:21
  single
• 1:21
  time.
• 1:21
  That's
• 1:21
  what
• 1:22
  we're
• 1:22
  going
• 1:22
  to
• 1:22
  talk
• 1:22
  about
• 1:22
  on
• 1:22
  today's
• 1:23
  show.
• 1:44
  Hey,
• 1:44
  friend,
• 1:45
  Ralph
• 1:45
  Fe
• 1:45
  Jr.
• 1:46
  Here.
• 1:46
  Welcome
• 1:47
  to
• 1:47
  Financially
• 1:47
  Confident
• 1:48
  Christian,
• 1:48
  where
• 1:49
  we
• 1:49
  walk
• 1:49
  by
• 1:49
  faith,
• 1:49
  we
• 1:50
  grow
• 1:50
  in
• 1:50
  wisdom,
• 1:50
  and
• 1:51
  we
• 1:51
  build
• 1:51
  peace
• 1:52
  one
• 1:52
  simple,
• 1:52
  steady
• 1:53
  step
• 1:53
  at
• 1:53
  a
• 1:53
  time.
• 1:54
  My
• 1:54
  mission
• 1:54
  here
• 1:55
  is
• 1:55
  simple.
• 1:55
  To
• 1:56
  help
• 1:56
  you
• 1:56
  break
• 1:56
  that
• 1:56
  cycle
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  financial
• 1:57
  shame
• 1:58
  and
• 1:58
  build
• 1:58
  rhythms
• 1:59
  rooted
• 1:59
  in
• 2:00
  scripture
• 2:01
  and
• 2:01
  walk
• 2:01
  in
• 2:01
  the
• 2:01
  kind
• 2:01
  of
• 2:02
  financial
• 2:02
  peace
• 2:02
  that
• 2:02
  only
• 2:03
  God's
• 2:03
  wisdom
• 2:03
  can
• 2:04
  produce.
• 2:04
  If
• 2:05
  you're
• 2:05
  joining
• 2:05
  us
• 2:05
  for
• 2:05
  the
• 2:06
  first
• 2:06
  time,
• 2:06
  hey,
• 2:06
  welcome
• 2:07
  to
• 2:07
  the
• 2:07
  show.
• 2:07
  If
• 2:08
  you're
• 2:08
  returning,
• 2:08
  I
• 2:09
  am
• 2:09
  so
• 2:09
  grateful
• 2:09
  you're
• 2:10
  here
• 2:10
  on
• 2:10
  this
• 2:10
  reflective
• 2:11
  and
• 2:11
  meaningful
• 2:12
  day.
• 2:12
  As
• 2:13
  we
• 2:13
  said,
• 2:13
  today's
• 2:13
  the
• 2:13
  final
• 2:14
  day
• 2:14
  of
• 2:14
  the
• 2:14
  year
• 2:15
  and
• 2:15
  we're
• 2:15
  not
• 2:15
  talking
• 2:15
  about
• 2:16
  hype.
• 2:16
  A
• 2:16
  lot
• 2:16
  of
• 2:16
  people
• 2:16
  be
• 2:16
  talking
• 2:17
  about
• 2:17
  hype
• 2:17
  today.
• 2:18
  We're
• 2:18
  not
• 2:18
  talking
• 2:19
  about
• 2:19
  fireworks
• 2:20
  or
• 2:20
  some
• 2:20
  fresh
• 2:21
  start
• 2:21
  pressure.
• 2:22
  We're
• 2:22
  talking
• 2:22
  about
• 2:23
  something
• 2:23
  deeper,
• 2:24
  and
• 2:25
  that's
• 2:25
  staying
• 2:25
  faithful
• 2:26
  long
• 2:26
  after
• 2:27
  the
• 2:27
  excitement
• 2:27
  fades.
• 2:28
  Because
• 2:29
  January
• 2:29
  motivation
• 2:30
  comes
• 2:30
  and
• 2:30
  goes,
• 2:31
  but
• 2:31
  a
• 2:31
  spiritually
• 2:32
  anchored
• 2:32
  rhythm
• 2:33
  keeps
• 2:33
  you
• 2:33
  grounded
• 2:33
  all
• 2:34
  year
• 2:34
  long.
• 2:34
  A
• 2:34
  listener
• 2:35
  wrote
• 2:35
  this.
• 2:35
  Ralph,
• 2:36
  I
• 2:36
  want
• 2:36
  a
• 2:36
  resolution
• 2:37
  that
• 2:37
  actually
• 2:38
  lasts
• 2:38
  this
• 2:38
  time.
• 2:39
  I
• 2:39
  don't
• 2:39
  want
• 2:40
  another
• 2:40
  January
• 2:40
  where
• 2:41
  I
• 2:41
  start
• 2:41
  strong
• 2:41
  and
• 2:42
  install
• 2:42
  out.
• 2:43
  How
• 2:43
  do
• 2:44
  I
• 2:44
  stay
• 2:44
  faithful
• 2:44
  throughout
• 2:45
  the
• 2:45
  year,
• 2:45
  not
• 2:46
  just
• 2:46
  the
• 2:46
  first
• 2:46
  few
• 2:47
  weeks.
• 2:48
  Friend,
• 2:48
  I
• 2:49
  hear
• 2:49
  that
• 2:49
  question,
• 2:49
  and
• 2:50
  it
• 2:50
  comes
• 2:50
  from
• 2:50
  such
• 2:51
  a
• 2:51
  sincere
• 2:52
  heart.
• 2:53
  And
• 2:53
  I
• 2:53
  bet
• 2:53
  you're
• 2:53
  not
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  only
• 2:54
  one
• 2:54
  that's
• 2:54
  carrying
• 2:55
  that
• 2:55
  weight
• 2:55
  today.
• 2:56
  So
• 2:57
  many
• 2:57
  of
• 2:57
  us
• 2:57
  feel
• 2:57
  this
• 2:57
  tension.
• 2:58
  We
• 2:59
  long
• 2:59
  for
• 2:59
  growth,
• 3:00
  but
• 3:00
  we
• 3:00
  fear
• 3:00
  quitting.
• 3:01
  We
• 3:01
  want
• 3:02
  transformation,
• 3:02
  but
• 3:03
  we're
• 3:03
  tired
• 3:03
  of
• 3:03
  disappointing
• 3:04
  ourselves.
• 3:05
  But
• 3:05
  here's
• 3:06
  the
• 3:06
  hope.
• 3:07
  You're
• 3:07
  not
• 3:07
  chasing
• 3:07
  perfection.
• 3:09
  You're
• 3:09
  walking
• 3:09
  with
• 3:09
  Jesus.
• 3:10
  This
• 3:11
  isn't
• 3:11
  about
• 3:11
  intensity.
• 3:12
  This
• 3:12
  is
• 3:12
  about
• 3:12
  a
• 3:13
  direction.
• 3:13
  It's
• 3:14
  about
• 3:14
  endurance.
• 3:15
  It's
• 3:15
  about
• 3:15
  the
• 3:15
  long,
• 3:16
  steady
• 3:16
  journey
• 3:17
  with
• 3:17
  him.
• 3:18
  And
• 3:18
  research
• 3:19
  shows
• 3:19
  something
• 3:20
  truly
• 3:20
  sobering.
• 3:22
  Yes,
• 3:22
  many
• 3:22
  people
• 3:23
  set
• 3:23
  goals
• 3:24
  and
• 3:24
  within
• 3:24
  a
• 3:24
  few
• 3:25
  weeks
• 3:25
  Those
• 3:25
  goals
• 3:25
  quietly
• 3:26
  fade.
• 3:27
  But
• 3:27
  the
• 3:28
  people
• 3:28
  who
• 3:28
  keep
• 3:28
  growing
• 3:29
  month
• 3:29
  after
• 3:29
  month
• 3:30
  almost
• 3:30
  always
• 3:31
  share
• 3:31
  these
• 3:31
  three
• 3:32
  things.
• 3:32
  You
• 3:32
  ready
• 3:32
  for
• 3:32
  them?
• 3:33
  A
• 3:33
  supportive
• 3:34
  community,
• 3:34
  simple,
• 3:35
  repeatable
• 3:36
  rhythms,
• 3:36
  and
• 3:36
  gentle,
• 3:37
  steady
• 3:38
  accountability.
• 3:39
  Those
• 3:39
  three
• 3:39
  elements
• 3:40
  create
• 3:40
  long
• 3:40
  term,
• 3:41
  sustainable
• 3:42
  transformation.
• 3:43
  And
• 3:43
  today
• 3:44
  I
• 3:44
  want
• 3:44
  to
• 3:44
  share
• 3:44
  a
• 3:44
  thought
• 3:44
  from
• 3:45
  pastor
• 3:45
  and
• 3:45
  author
• 3:46
  Eugene
• 3:46
  Peterson,
• 3:48
  a
• 3:48
  man
• 3:48
  who
• 3:48
  dedicated
• 3:48
  his
• 3:49
  life
• 3:49
  to
• 3:49
  helping
• 3:49
  believers
• 3:50
  not
• 3:50
  just
• 3:50
  read
• 3:50
  scripture,
• 3:51
  but
• 3:51
  live
• 3:51
  scripture.
• 3:52
  He
• 3:53
  captured
• 3:53
  the
• 3:53
  entire
• 3:54
  journey
• 3:54
  of
• 3:54
  discipleship
• 3:55
  in
• 3:55
  one
• 3:55
  simple
• 3:56
  phrase.
• 3:56
  Now,
• 3:56
  this
• 3:56
  is
• 3:56
  the
• 3:56
  guy
• 3:57
  that
• 3:57
  wrote
• 3:57
  the
• 3:57
  message
• 3:58
  Bible.
• 3:58
  This
• 3:58
  is
• 3:58
  what
• 3:58
  he
• 3:59
  said.
• 3:59
  Long
• 3:59
  obedience
• 4:00
  in
• 4:00
  the
• 4:01
  same
• 4:01
  direction.
• 4:03
  Transformation
• 4:03
  isn't
• 4:04
  a
• 4:04
  one
• 4:04
  time
• 4:04
  movement.
• 4:05
  It's
• 4:06
  a
• 4:06
  path.
• 4:07
  It's
• 4:07
  a
• 4:07
  journey.
• 4:08
  It's
• 4:08
  a
• 4:08
  steady
• 4:09
  commitment.
• 4:10
  It's
• 4:11
  not
• 4:11
  explosive,
• 4:11
  it's
• 4:12
  consistent.
• 4:12
  And
• 4:13
  consistency,
• 4:13
  more
• 4:13
  than
• 4:14
  intensity
• 4:14
  is
• 4:15
  what
• 4:15
  shapes
• 4:15
  a
• 4:15
  life.
• 4:17
  And
• 4:17
  I've
• 4:17
  worked
• 4:17
  and
• 4:18
  walked
• 4:18
  with
• 4:18
  families
• 4:18
  for
• 4:19
  decades
• 4:19
  through
• 4:19
  victories
• 4:20
  and
• 4:20
  valleys
• 4:21
  and
• 4:21
  breakthroughs
• 4:22
  and
• 4:22
  setbacks
• 4:22
  and
• 4:23
  everything
• 4:23
  in
• 4:23
  between.
• 4:25
  And
• 4:25
  I've
• 4:25
  witnessed
• 4:26
  one
• 4:26
  truth
• 4:26
  over
• 4:27
  and
• 4:27
  over.
• 4:28
  God
• 4:29
  always
• 4:30
  finishes
• 4:30
  what
• 4:30
  he
• 4:31
  starts.
• 4:32
  Sustainable
• 4:33
  financial
• 4:33
  progress
• 4:34
  is
• 4:34
  spiritual
• 4:34
  well
• 4:35
  before
• 4:35
  it's
• 4:35
  numerical.
• 4:36
  When
• 4:36
  the
• 4:37
  heart
• 4:37
  aligns
• 4:37
  with
• 4:37
  God,
• 4:38
  the
• 4:38
  habits
• 4:39
  follow
• 4:40
  every
• 4:40
  single
• 4:41
  time.
• 4:42
  One
• 4:42
  listener
• 4:42
  once
• 4:43
  told
• 4:43
  me,
• 4:44
  I'm
• 4:44
  done
• 4:44
  with
• 4:44
  perfect
• 4:45
  January's
• 4:45
  route
• 4:45
  that
• 4:46
  collapsed
• 4:46
  by
• 4:46
  February.
• 4:47
  So
• 4:48
  she
• 4:48
  tried
• 4:48
  something
• 4:48
  new,
• 4:49
  something
• 4:49
  simple.
• 4:50
  She
• 4:50
  committed
• 4:50
  to
• 4:50
  just
• 4:51
  three
• 4:51
  things.
• 4:51
  Here's
• 4:51
  what
• 4:51
  she
• 4:52
  committed
• 4:52
  to.
• 4:52
  One
• 4:53
  monthly

• 4:54
  in,
• 4:54
  rooting
• 4:55
  herself
• 4:55
  in
• 4:56
  community
• 4:56
  and
• 4:57
  saying
• 4:57
  a
• 4:57
  simple
• 4:58
  prayer
• 4:58
  before
• 4:58
  every
• 4:59
  financial
• 4:59
  decision.
• 5:00
  Just
• 5:00
  those
• 5:00
  three
• 5:01
  things.
• 5:01
  A
• 5:01
  monthly
• 5:02
  check
• 5:02
  in,
• 5:02
  rooting
• 5:03
  herself
• 5:03
  in
• 5:03
  community
• 5:04
  and
• 5:04
  saying
• 5:04
  a
• 5:04
  simple
• 5:05
  prayer
• 5:05
  before
• 5:05
  every
• 5:06
  financial
• 5:06
  decision.
• 5:07
  One
• 5:07
  year
• 5:08
  later,
• 5:09
  her
• 5:09
  debt
• 5:09
  was
• 5:09
  down,
• 5:10
  almost
• 5:10
  gone.
• 5:10
  Actually.
• 5:11
  Her
• 5:11
  giving
• 5:12
  was
• 5:12
  up.
• 5:12
  I'm
• 5:12
  talking
• 5:12
  about
• 5:13
  way
• 5:13
  up.
• 5:13
  And
• 5:13
  her
• 5:14
  peace
• 5:14
  was
• 5:14
  real.
• 5:14
  I'm
• 5:15
  talking
• 5:15
  about
• 5:15
  real
• 5:16
  peace.
• 5:17
  It
• 5:18
  wasn't
• 5:18
  because
• 5:18
  she
• 5:18
  hustled
• 5:19
  harder,
• 5:20
  but
• 5:20
  because
• 5:20
  she
• 5:21
  stayed
• 5:21
  faithful
• 5:21
  to
• 5:22
  the
• 5:22
  journey.
• 5:23
  It
• 5:23
  was
• 5:23
  that
• 5:23
  consistency,
• 5:24
  not
• 5:25
  intensity,
• 5:25
  that
• 5:26
  transformed
• 5:26
  her
• 5:26
  year.
• 5:27
  So
• 5:27
  how
• 5:27
  do
• 5:28
  you
• 5:28
  stop
• 5:28
  stalling?
• 5:29
  How
• 5:29
  do
• 5:29
  you
• 5:29
  walk
• 5:30
  with
• 5:30
  God
• 5:30
  financially
• 5:31
  for
• 5:31
  an
• 5:31
  entirety
• 5:32
  or
• 5:32
  not?
• 5:32
  Just
• 5:32
  the
• 5:32
  first
• 5:33
  week.
• 5:33
  Let's
• 5:34
  unpack
• 5:34
  this
• 5:34
  together.
• 5:35
  It
• 5:36
  starts
• 5:36
  with
• 5:36
  seeing
• 5:37
  your
• 5:37
  finances
• 5:37
  as
• 5:38
  a
• 5:38
  journey,
• 5:38
  not
• 5:39
  a
• 5:39
  January
• 5:39
  project.
• 5:40
  So
• 5:40
  many
• 5:40
  people
• 5:40
  get
• 5:41
  stuck
• 5:41
  on
• 5:41
  this
• 5:41
  January
• 5:42
  project
• 5:43
  thing.
• 5:43
  Projects
• 5:43
  are
• 5:44
  short
• 5:44
  term.
• 5:46
  These
• 5:46
  journeys
• 5:46
  we're
• 5:47
  talking
• 5:47
  about
• 5:47
  build
• 5:48
  character.
• 5:49
  A
• 5:50
  project
• 5:50
  ends
• 5:50
  when
• 5:50
  excitement
• 5:51
  fades.
• 5:52
  A
• 5:52
  journey
• 5:53
  continues
• 5:53
  even
• 5:53
  when
• 5:54
  motivation
• 5:54
  drops
• 5:55
  and
• 5:55
  life
• 5:55
  gets
• 5:56
  really
• 5:56
  messy.
• 5:56
  Our
• 5:57
  lives
• 5:57
  get
• 5:57
  messy,
• 5:57
  don't
• 5:58
  they?
• 5:58
  Think
• 5:58
  about
• 5:58
  it.
• 5:59
  In
• 5:59
  January,
• 5:59
  let's
• 6:00
  say
• 6:00
  you
• 6:00
  buy
• 6:00
  a
• 6:00
  new
• 6:01
  planner.
• 6:01
  You've
• 6:01
  got
• 6:01
  the
• 6:01
  colorful
• 6:02
  pens,
• 6:02
  the
• 6:03
  fresh
• 6:03
  budgeting
• 6:03
  app
• 6:04
  subscription,
• 6:05
  and
• 6:05
  by
• 6:05
  the
• 6:05
  second
• 6:05
  week,
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  planner
• 6:07
  is
• 6:07
  buried
• 6:07
  under
• 6:08
  mail.
• 6:08
  The
• 6:08
  app
• 6:08
  hasn't
• 6:09
  been
• 6:09
  open
• 6:09
  in
• 6:09
  10
• 6:09
  days,
• 6:10
  and
• 6:10
  pens
• 6:10
  are
• 6:11
  somewhere
• 6:11
  in
• 6:11
  your
• 6:11
  car.
• 6:13
  That's
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  project
• 6:14
  mentality.
• 6:15
  But
• 6:15
  here's
• 6:15
  what
• 6:15
  a
• 6:15
  journey
• 6:16
  says.
• 6:16
  A
• 6:16
  journey
• 6:16
  says,
• 6:17
  I'm
• 6:17
  not
• 6:17
  trying
• 6:17
  to
• 6:18
  win
• 6:18
  the
• 6:18
  first
• 6:18
  week
• 6:18
  of
• 6:18
  January.
• 6:19
  I'm
• 6:19
  learning
• 6:20
  how
• 6:20
  to
• 6:20
  walk
• 6:20
  faithfully
• 6:21
  for
• 6:21
  the
• 6:21
  next
• 6:21
  12
• 6:22
  months.
• 6:23
  That
• 6:23
  progress
• 6:24
  unfolds
• 6:24
  over
• 6:25
  months,
• 6:25
  not
• 6:25
  moving.
• 6:27
  And
• 6:27
  that
• 6:27
  journey
• 6:27
  gives
• 6:28
  space
• 6:28
  for
• 6:28
  grace
• 6:28
  without
• 6:29
  losing
• 6:29
  direction.
• 6:30
  You
• 6:30
  don't
• 6:30
  have
• 6:30
  to
• 6:30
  rush.
• 6:31
  You
• 6:32
  just
• 6:32
  have
• 6:32
  to
• 6:32
  keep
• 6:33
  walking
• 6:34
  and
• 6:34
  keep
• 6:34
  walking.
• 6:36
  But
• 6:36
  build
• 6:37
  those
• 6:37
  monthly
• 6:37
  rhythms.
• 6:38
  Rhythms
• 6:38
  anchor
• 6:39
  you
• 6:39
  and
• 6:39
  motivation
• 6:39
  disappears.
• 6:40
  And
• 6:40
  when
• 6:40
  life
• 6:41
  gets
• 6:41
  complicated,
• 6:41
  guess
• 6:41
  what?
• 6:42
  Life
• 6:42
  is
• 6:42
  going
• 6:42
  to
• 6:43
  get
• 6:43
  complicated.
• 6:43
  Your
• 6:44
  motivation
• 6:44
  is
• 6:44
  going
• 6:45
  to
• 6:45
  disappear.
• 6:45
  But
• 6:46
  that
• 6:46
  monthly
• 6:46
  review
• 6:46
  keeps
• 6:47
  your
• 6:47
  decisions
• 6:47
  aligned
• 6:48
  and
• 6:48
  intentional.
• 6:49
  That
• 6:49
  prayer
• 6:50
  rhythm
• 6:50
  keeps
• 6:50
  your
• 6:50
  heart
• 6:51
  aligned
• 6:51
  with
• 6:51
  God's
• 6:52
  pace
• 6:52
  and
• 6:52
  purpose
• 6:53
  and.
• 6:53
  And
• 6:53
  resolutions
• 6:54
  are
• 6:54
  loud
• 6:54
  and
• 6:54
  short
• 6:54
  lived.
• 6:55
  But
• 6:55
  rhythms,
• 6:56
  man,
• 6:56
  they
• 6:56
  are
• 6:57
  quiet
• 6:57
  and
• 6:57
  powerful.
• 6:58
  Here's
• 6:58
  an
• 6:58
  example.
• 6:58
  Let's
• 6:59
  say
• 6:59
  you
• 6:59
  block
• 6:59
  the
• 6:59
  first
• 7:00
  Saturday
• 7:00
  morning
• 7:00
  every
• 7:00
  month.
• 7:01
  Cup
• 7:01
  of
• 7:02
  coffee,
• 7:02
  Bible
• 7:02
  open.
• 7:03
  Check
• 7:03
  your
• 7:03
  accounts,
• 7:04
  pay
• 7:04
  a
• 7:04
  bill,
• 7:05
  move
• 7:05
  your
• 7:05
  savings.
• 7:06
  Pray
• 7:06
  over
• 7:06
  the
• 7:06
  month
• 7:07
  ahead.
• 7:07
  It
• 7:08
  takes
• 7:08
  just
• 7:08
  20
• 7:08
  minutes,
• 7:09
  but
• 7:10
  it
• 7:10
  gives
• 7:10
  you
• 7:10
  clarity.
• 7:11
  For
• 7:11
  30
• 7:11
  days.
• 7:11
  For
• 7:12
  a
• 7:12
  whole
• 7:12
  month.
• 7:13
  Or
• 7:13
  maybe
• 7:14
  your
• 7:14
  rhythm
• 7:14
  is
• 7:14
  simpler.
• 7:15
  A
• 7:15
  two
• 7:15
  minute
• 7:16
  check
• 7:16
  every
• 7:16
  payday,
• 7:17
  A
• 7:18
  quick
• 7:18
  prayer
• 7:18
  at
• 7:18
  bedtime,
• 7:19
  a
• 7:19
  weekly
• 7:19
  glance
• 7:19
  at
• 7:20
  your
• 7:20
  spending.
• 7:21
  Those
• 7:21
  small
• 7:22
  rhythms
• 7:22
  build
• 7:23
  big
• 7:23
  results.
• 7:25
  Because
• 7:25
  let
• 7:25
  me
• 7:25
  tell
• 7:25
  you
• 7:25
  something
• 7:25
  right
• 7:26
  now.
• 7:26
  Rhythms
• 7:26
  are
• 7:27
  always
• 7:27
  greater
• 7:27
  than
• 7:28
  resolutions.
• 7:28
  Always.
• 7:30
  But
• 7:30
  you
• 7:30
  got
• 7:30
  to
• 7:30
  expect
• 7:31
  wins
• 7:31
  and
• 7:31
  what
• 7:31
  I'll
• 7:32
  call
• 7:32
  lessons.
• 7:33
  Because
• 7:33
  both
• 7:34
  are
• 7:34
  growth.
• 7:34
  Sure.
• 7:34
  Wins
• 7:35
  show
• 7:35
  your
• 7:35
  progress.
• 7:36
  Those
• 7:36
  are
• 7:36
  great.
• 7:37
  But
• 7:38
  lessons
• 7:38
  show
• 7:38
  where
• 7:38
  God
• 7:39
  is
• 7:39
  still
• 7:39
  shaping.
• 7:39
  You
• 7:41
  talk
• 7:41
  about
• 7:41
  some
• 7:41
  wins.
• 7:42
  This
• 7:42
  one
• 7:42
  when
• 7:43
  maybe
• 7:43
  you
• 7:43
  automated
• 7:43
  your
• 7:44
  giving,
• 7:44
  that's
• 7:44
  a
• 7:44
  win.
• 7:45
  Or
• 7:45
  maybe
• 7:45
  you
• 7:45
  build
• 7:46
  a
• 7:46
  $300
• 7:46
  emergency
• 7:47
  cushion,
• 7:47
  that's
• 7:48
  a
• 7:48
  win.
• 7:49
  Or
• 7:49
  maybe
• 7:49
  you
• 7:49
  finally
• 7:49
  understood
• 7:50
  your
• 7:50
  paycheck
• 7:50
  deduction.
• 7:51
  A
• 7:51
  lot
• 7:51
  of
• 7:51
  people
• 7:51
  don't
• 7:51
  get
• 7:52
  those.
• 7:52
  Those
• 7:52
  are
• 7:53
  wins.
• 7:53
  Those
• 7:53
  are
• 7:53
  real
• 7:54
  wins.
• 7:55
  But
• 7:55
  we
• 7:55
  also
• 7:55
  got
• 7:56
  some
• 7:56
  lessons
• 7:56
  in
• 7:56
  life.
• 7:58
  Maybe
• 7:58
  your
• 7:58
  lesson
• 7:58
  was
• 7:58
  you
• 7:59
  overspent
• 7:59
  on
• 7:59
  eating
• 8:00
  out
• 8:00
  this
• 8:00
  month.
• 8:01
  But
• 8:01
  now
• 8:01
  you
• 8:01
  see
• 8:01
  the
• 8:02
  trigger.
• 8:02
  It's
• 8:02
  busy
• 8:03
  evenings,
• 8:03
  no
• 8:03
  meal
• 8:04
  plan.
• 8:04
  And
• 8:04
  that
• 8:04
  drive
• 8:05
  thru
• 8:05
  felt
• 8:05
  faster
• 8:05
  than
• 8:06
  anything
• 8:06
  else.
• 8:07
  It's
• 8:07
  not
• 8:08
  failure.
• 8:08
  That's
• 8:09
  information.
• 8:10
  That's
• 8:10
  God
• 8:10
  shaping
• 8:11
  your
• 8:11
  wisdom.
• 8:12
  Mistakes
• 8:13
  don't
• 8:13
  erase
• 8:14
  that
• 8:14
  momentum.
• 8:14
  They
• 8:14
  teach
• 8:15
  you
• 8:15
  better
• 8:15
  strategy.
• 8:16
  And
• 8:16
  every
• 8:17
  month
• 8:17
  brings
• 8:17
  raw
• 8:17
  material
• 8:18
  for
• 8:18
  spiritual
• 8:19
  formation.
• 8:20
  And
• 8:20
  finally,
• 8:21
  we
• 8:21
  talked
• 8:21
  about
• 8:21
  walking.
• 8:22
  You
• 8:22
  got
• 8:22
  to
• 8:23
  walk
• 8:23
  with
• 8:23
  God
• 8:23
  and
• 8:24
  community.
• 8:25
  Lone
• 8:25
  journeys
• 8:26
  will
• 8:26
  stall,
• 8:27
  but
• 8:28
  companions
• 8:28
  strengthen
• 8:29
  the
• 8:29
  journey.
• 8:30
  Walking
• 8:31
  with
• 8:31
  God
• 8:31
  gives
• 8:31
  you
• 8:31
  peace.
• 8:32
  Walking
• 8:32
  with
• 8:32
  community
• 8:33
  gives
• 8:33
  you
• 8:33
  perseverance.
• 8:35
  That
• 8:35
  community
• 8:35
  brings
• 8:36
  you
• 8:36
  accountability.
• 8:38
  Hey,
• 8:38
  how
• 8:39
  did
• 8:39
  that
• 8:39
  habit
• 8:39
  go?
• 8:39
  This
• 8:40
  week
• 8:41
  with
• 8:41
  a
• 8:41
  community
• 8:42
  brings
• 8:42
  you
• 8:42
  perspective.
• 8:43
  You're
• 8:44
  making
• 8:44
  more
• 8:44
  progress
• 8:44
  than
• 8:45
  you
• 8:45
  think.
• 8:46
  That
• 8:46
  community
• 8:46
  brings
• 8:47
  you
• 8:47
  encouragement.
• 8:47
  Don't
• 8:47
  quit.
• 8:48
  Start
• 8:48
  fresh
• 8:49
  again
• 8:49
  today.
• 8:50
  That
• 8:51
  community
• 8:51
  gives
• 8:51
  you
• 8:51
  wisdom.
• 8:52
  Here's
• 8:52
  what
• 8:53
  worked
• 8:53
  for
• 8:53
  me
• 8:53
  in
• 8:53
  that
• 8:54
  season.
• 8:54
  Maybe
• 8:54
  you
• 8:54
  should
• 8:54
  try
• 8:55
  this
• 8:56
  and
• 8:56
  that
• 8:56
  community
• 8:57
  gives
• 8:57
  you
• 8:57
  celebration.
• 8:58
  You
• 8:59
  paid
• 8:59
  off
• 8:59
  that
• 8:59
  card.
• 9:00
  Praise
• 9:00
  God.
• 9:00
  That's
• 9:01
  beautiful.
• 9:02
  Think
• 9:02
  about
• 9:02
  the
• 9:02
  difference
• 9:03
  between
• 9:03
  budgeting
• 9:04
  alone
• 9:04
  at
• 9:05
  midnight
• 9:05
  where
• 9:05
  you're
• 9:06
  frustrated
• 9:06
  and
• 9:07
  overwhelmed,
• 9:08
  versus
• 9:08
  budgeting
• 9:09
  with
• 9:09
  a
• 9:09
  community
• 9:09
  where
• 9:10
  someone
• 9:10
  says,
• 9:10
  hey,
• 9:10
  I've
• 9:11
  been
• 9:11
  there.
• 9:12
  You're
• 9:12
  not
• 9:12
  failing.
• 9:13
  Let's
• 9:13
  figure
• 9:13
  this
• 9:13
  out
• 9:14
  together.
• 9:15
  You
• 9:15
  were
• 9:15
  never
• 9:16
  meant
• 9:16
  to
• 9:16
  walk
• 9:16
  alone,
• 9:17
  financially
• 9:18
  or
• 9:18
  spiritually.
• 9:19
  And
• 9:20
  when
• 9:20
  you
• 9:20
  walk
• 9:20
  with
• 9:20
  God
• 9:21
  and
• 9:21
  with
• 9:21
  people
• 9:22
  who
• 9:22
  cheer
• 9:22
  for
• 9:22
  your
• 9:23
  growth,
• 9:23
  the
• 9:23
  journey
• 9:24
  becomes
• 9:24
  lighter,
• 9:25
  clearer,
• 9:25
  and
• 9:25
  full
• 9:25
  of
• 9:26
  hope.
• 9:26
  Which
• 9:26
  leads
• 9:27
  me
• 9:27
  to
• 9:27
  today's
• 9:28
  Bible
• 9:28
  verse
• 9:28
  comes
• 9:29
  to
• 9:29
  us
• 9:29
  from
• 9:29
  the
• 9:29
  book
• 9:29
  of
• 9:29
  Philippians,
• 9:30
  chapter
• 9:31
  1,
• 9:31
  verse
• 9:31
  6.
• 9:32
  He
• 9:33
  who
• 9:33
  began
• 9:33
  a
• 9:33
  good
• 9:33
  work
• 9:34
  in
• 9:34
  you
• 9:34
  will
• 9:35
  carry
• 9:35
  it
• 9:35
  on
• 9:35
  the
• 9:35
  completion.
• 9:36
  I
• 9:37
  love
• 9:37
  that
• 9:37
  verse.
• 9:38
  Friends,
• 9:39
  you're
• 9:39
  not
• 9:39
  ending
• 9:39
  this
• 9:40
  year
• 9:40
  alone.
• 9:40
  And
• 9:41
  you
• 9:41
  won't
• 9:41
  begin
• 9:41
  the
• 9:41
  next
• 9:42
  one
• 9:42
  alone
• 9:42
  either.
• 9:42
  I'm
• 9:43
  right
• 9:43
  here
• 9:43
  with
• 9:43
  you.
• 9:44
  God
• 9:44
  is
• 9:44
  walking
• 9:44
  with
• 9:45
  you
• 9:45
  as
• 9:45
  well.
• 9:45
  Every
• 9:45
  step,
• 9:46
  every
• 9:46
  month
• 9:47
  and
• 9:47
  every
• 9:48
  season.
• 9:48
  How
• 9:49
  about
• 9:49
  we
• 9:49
  pray
• 9:49
  together?
• 9:50
  Lord,
• 9:51
  give
• 9:51
  me
• 9:51
  enduring
• 9:51
  faithfulness.
• 9:53
  Give
• 9:53
  me
• 9:53
  humility
• 9:53
  to
• 9:54
  learn
• 9:54
  month
• 9:54
  by
• 9:55
  month.
• 9:56
  Give
• 9:56
  me
• 9:56
  courage
• 9:57
  to
• 9:57
  keep
• 9:57
  walking
• 9:58
  with
• 9:58
  you.
• 9:59
  Strengthen
• 9:59
  my
• 9:59
  resolve,
• 10:00
  steady
• 10:00
  my
• 10:01
  steps
• 10:01
  and
• 10:01
  shape
• 10:02
  my
• 10:02
  heart
• 10:02
  for
• 10:02
  the
• 10:02
  journey
• 10:03
  ahead.
• 10:04
  And
• 10:04
  I
• 10:04
  ask
• 10:04
  this
• 10:05
  in
• 10:05
  Jesus
• 10:05
  name,
• 10:06
  Amen.
• 10:07
  Okay,
• 10:08
  here's
• 10:08
  your
• 10:08
  one
• 10:08
  action
• 10:08
  step.
• 10:09
  I
• 10:09
  want
• 10:09
  you
• 10:09
  to
• 10:09
  write
• 10:10
  down
• 10:10
  one
• 10:10
  resolution.
• 10:11
  Okay,
• 10:11
  Ralph's
• 10:11
  going
• 10:11
  to
• 10:11
  use
• 10:11
  the
• 10:12
  word
• 10:12
  resolution,
• 10:12
  but
• 10:13
  be
• 10:13
  careful
• 10:13
  how
• 10:13
  I
• 10:13
  say
• 10:14
  it.
• 10:14
  I
• 10:14
  want
• 10:14
  you
• 10:14
  to
• 10:14
  write
• 10:14
  down
• 10:15
  one
• 10:15
  resolution
• 10:16
  of
• 10:16
  the
• 10:16
  soul.
• 10:17
  Ask
• 10:18
  yourself
• 10:18
  this
• 10:18
  question.
• 10:19
  How
• 10:19
  will
• 10:19
  I
• 10:20
  trust
• 10:20
  God
• 10:20
  in
• 10:21
  my
• 10:21
  finances
• 10:21
  this
• 10:22
  year?
• 10:22
  Just
• 10:23
  that
• 10:23
  simple.
• 10:23
  How
• 10:23
  will
• 10:24
  I
• 10:24
  trust
• 10:24
  God
• 10:25
  in
• 10:25
  my
• 10:25
  finances
• 10:26
  this
• 10:26
  year?
• 10:26
  Then
• 10:27
  I
• 10:27
  want
• 10:27
  you
• 10:27
  to
• 10:27
  pick
• 10:27
  one
• 10:28
  monthly
• 10:28
  money
• 10:29
  hour
• 10:29
  and
• 10:29
  lock
• 10:29
  it
• 10:30
  in.
• 10:30
  I'm
• 10:30
  talking
• 10:30
  about
• 10:30
  the
• 10:30
  same
• 10:31
  day
• 10:31
  every
• 10:32
  month.
• 10:32
  No
• 10:32
  exceptions.
• 10:33
  Because
• 10:33
  we
• 10:34
  build
• 10:34
  these
• 10:34
  rhythms.
• 10:35
  We
• 10:35
  don't
• 10:35
  just
• 10:35
  organize
• 10:36
  our
• 10:36
  life,
• 10:36
  we
• 10:36
  create
• 10:37
  results.
• 10:38
  And
• 10:38
  this
• 10:39
  is
• 10:39
  exactly
• 10:39
  why
• 10:39
  community
• 10:40
  matters.
• 10:40
  After
• 10:41
  sharing
• 10:41
  this
• 10:41
  action
• 10:41
  step
• 10:42
  with
• 10:42
  some
• 10:42
  people
• 10:42
  last
• 10:42
  year,
• 10:43
  I
• 10:43
  want
• 10:43
  you
• 10:43
  to
• 10:43
  hear
• 10:43
  what
• 10:44
  one
• 10:44
  member
• 10:44
  told
• 10:45
  me.
• 10:46
  They
• 10:46
  said
• 10:46
  this.
• 10:46
  I
• 10:47
  came
• 10:47
  here
• 10:47
  thinking
• 10:48
  I
• 10:48
  get
• 10:48
  tips
• 10:48
  or
• 10:49
  tools.
• 10:50
  But
• 10:50
  what
• 10:50
  I
• 10:50
  found,
• 10:50
  Ralph,
• 10:51
  was
• 10:51
  a
• 10:51
  lifeline.
• 10:52
  The
• 10:52
  habits
• 10:53
  keep
• 10:53
  me
• 10:53
  steady.
• 10:53
  The
• 10:54
  encouragement
• 10:54
  lifts
• 10:55
  me
• 10:55
  on
• 10:55
  days
• 10:55
  that
• 10:55
  I
• 10:55
  can't
• 10:56
  lift
• 10:56
  myself.
• 10:57
  And
• 10:57
  it's
• 10:57
  free.
• 10:58
  A
• 10:58
  real
• 10:58
  community
• 10:59
  with
• 10:59
  zero
• 10:59
  pressure.
• 11:01
  My
• 11:01
  hope
• 11:01
  is
• 11:01
  growing
• 11:02
  again,
• 11:02
  Ralph.
• 11:02
  My
• 11:03
  faith
• 11:03
  is
• 11:03
  growing
• 11:04
  again.
• 11:04
  And
• 11:04
  I'm
• 11:05
  not
• 11:05
  walking
• 11:05
  alone
• 11:06
  anymore,
• 11:07
  friend.
• 11:07
  That's
• 11:08
  the
• 11:08
  power
• 11:08
  of
• 11:08
  walking
• 11:09
  together.
• 11:09
  And
• 11:09
  I
• 11:09
  want
• 11:09
  you
• 11:09
  to
• 11:10
  come
• 11:10
  join
• 11:10
  us
• 11:10
  on
• 11:10
  your
• 11:11
  walk.
• 11:11
  Go
• 11:11
  to
• 11:12
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 11:16
  That's
• 11:16
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/Join.
• 11:21
  Friend.
• 11:22
  Don't
• 11:23
  chase
• 11:23
  a
• 11:23
  moment.
• 11:24
  Commit
• 11:25
  to
• 11:25
  the
• 11:25
  mission.
• 11:25
  You
• 11:25
  see
• 11:25
  that
• 11:26
  mission
• 11:26
  ahead
• 11:26
  of
• 11:26
  you.
• 11:27
  Build
• 11:27
  rhythms.
• 11:28
  Stop
• 11:28
  building
• 11:28
  pressure.
• 11:29
  Walk
• 11:29
  slowly.
• 11:30
  Walk
• 11:30
  faithfully
• 11:31
  and
• 11:31
  walk
• 11:32
  joyfully.
• 11:33
  Because
• 11:33
  what
• 11:34
  did
• 11:34
  God
• 11:34
  promise?
• 11:34
  He
• 11:35
  says
• 11:35
  God
• 11:35
  always
• 11:36
  finishes
• 11:36
  what
• 11:37
  he
• 11:37
  starts.
• 11:38
  And
• 11:38
  what
• 11:38
  he
• 11:38
  started
• 11:39
  in
• 11:39
  you,
• 11:39
  he
• 11:39
  will
• 11:40
  finish.
• 11:41
  So
• 11:41
  let's
• 11:41
  all
• 11:41
  go
• 11:41
  today
• 11:42
  and
• 11:42
  be
• 11:42
  a
• 11:42
  financially
• 11:43
  confident
• 11:43
  Christian.
• 11:44
  You
• 11:44
  can
• 11:44
  do
• 11:44
  this
• 11:44
  because
• 11:44
  guess
• 11:45
  who's
• 11:45
  walking
• 11:45
  with
• 11:45
  you?
• 11:46
  The
• 11:46
  Lord
• 11:46
  is
• 11:47
  walking
• 11:47
  with
• 11:47
  you.
• 11:47
  Stay
• 11:48
  financially
• 11:48
  savvy.
• 11:49
  Happy
• 11:49
  New
• 11:50
  Year.
• 11:50
  And
• 11:50
  guess
• 11:50
  what?
• 11:50
  I'll
• 11:51
  see
• 11:51
  you
• 11:51
  next
• 11:51
  year.
• 11:51
  Take
• 11:52
  care.
