- 0:00Speaker 1: Hold on, hold some special ship. Welcome, come come to
- 0:09Speaker 1: the show. You one to normally not take you in
- 0:14Speaker 1: some bo more exitten your baby in a solo, learn
- 0:26Speaker 1: what's popping? Everybody's the kid Ferrai Simmons. Hey, You'm word
- 0:29Speaker 1: is your girls solo and you already know it's produced
- 0:34Speaker 1: by me O c T what they do. Baby, welcome
- 0:37Speaker 1: back soon. I appreciate it. I'm so excited to be here.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I missed, y'all, I missed polling nation. I'm happy to
- 0:44Speaker 1: not be coming my life away right now. What an honor?
- 0:48Speaker 1: No Corona, don't no corona. You Actually I didn't have
- 0:51Speaker 1: negative test the negative twice. It wasn't corona. Apparently it
- 0:55Speaker 1: was a really bad cold, but I feel like it
- 1:00Speaker 1: probably stressed related. My body completely shut down. So basically
- 1:04Speaker 1: it was like I spoke to my mom and then
- 1:06Speaker 1: two days later my body just really shut down. I know,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I was so excited to talk str I think like
- 1:12Speaker 1: it could have been like stress, and then it's just
- 1:14Speaker 1: that's that's what I think it was. I think it
- 1:17Speaker 1: was just hearing her voice kind of called me down,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and it allowed my body to be to actively be
- 1:24Speaker 1: as sick as it actually was so. Um, I took
- 1:26Speaker 1: the whole week off. I was able to just kind
- 1:29Speaker 1: of calm down and you know, do what I needed
- 1:33Speaker 1: to do. So I appreciate you guys for the sport.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I'm super grateful, thank you, thank you. This is what
- 1:39Speaker 1: happens when you get the time to your mama and
- 1:43Speaker 1: some rest. That's what I do for is that, That's
- 1:46Speaker 1: what I do for him? Alright, already just takes you
- 1:50Speaker 1: missed it it, get into it all right, decent Um,
- 2:01Speaker 1: And can you get Barriss to collaborate on new Netflix
- 2:05Speaker 1: series based on fifties book The Fiftieth Law. Uh, the
- 2:09Speaker 1: anti biography biography story is details on the life and
- 2:14Speaker 1: career fifty cents. So I'm assuming it's going to be
- 2:17Speaker 1: like the movie right to get rich of that trying movie. Yes, No,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I guess in a way. But this is a series.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So and I'm a fan of Kenya Barris. I love
- 2:27Speaker 1: follow his mixed Ish, Blackish, Oldish, grownish, all the issues.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I love it. So I feel like, um with him
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know on board, I think this is gonna be great.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Listen at this point, Um, anything fifty decides to do,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I think it's very strategic. Um, and I think it
- 2:50Speaker 1: everything he does has been successful, you know, for the
- 2:52Speaker 1: most part, and if telling his story can be told
- 2:57Speaker 1: in a series and help him get more and more money,
- 3:00Speaker 1: even if even if he is adding a little flavor
- 3:02Speaker 1: to it, that's really what a lot of this is about. Okay,
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's about having a foundation and creating something to get
- 3:08Speaker 1: some bread. And that's what this man is doing. That
- 3:10Speaker 1: man is going to continue to make money off of
- 3:13Speaker 1: his lifestyle for a very lofty listen to boys, smart man.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He's not a smart move and he puts the right
- 3:19Speaker 1: people around him, just like power. This is gonna be
- 3:22Speaker 1: successful as well. So I can't wait for it to
- 3:24Speaker 1: come out. Okay, yeah, I think the content creators um
- 3:31Speaker 1: really more successful than the artist. I think so personally
- 3:36Speaker 1: I can agree with that. And it's more money. He
- 3:40Speaker 1: does have one of the best albums of all time.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Get rich Trying albums, I'll give you that for sure.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I mean, when you think about it, like these movies
- 3:50Speaker 1: and all these new series that we're all watching, like
- 3:52Speaker 1: that kind of surround this particular type of lifestyle, they're
- 3:56Speaker 1: all doing very well. So why not take your story
- 3:59Speaker 1: if you've actually lift it and find a cinematic way
- 4:02Speaker 1: to tell it. He did. He is doing that alright,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Moving right along. Property owners sues the baby for alleged
- 4:11Speaker 1: assault after he tried to end an authorized video shoot.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know, these rappers these days, there's on these social
- 4:17Speaker 1: media platforms. They tend to get an a Airbnb or
- 4:21Speaker 1: you know, wherever they go and they shoot videos all
- 4:23Speaker 1: the time. And sometimes these owners don't like the bs
- 4:29Speaker 1: that goes on in these video shoots. So is that
- 4:32Speaker 1: a real thing? Is that a real thing? They're really
- 4:34Speaker 1: just going on like Airbnb Venbo getting the house and
- 4:37Speaker 1: feel like they just about to shoot me the video
- 4:39Speaker 1: or is it just like they're in the house Kei Kian,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you know it's a party, like see the differences Now
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's COVID restrictions. So the man was saying that he
- 4:50Speaker 1: agreed to no more than twelve people. This man had
- 4:54Speaker 1: a whole shoot there. So about pot Yeah, just outside
- 5:00Speaker 1: the COVID. Everybody knows, okay that people want location fees
- 5:04Speaker 1: when when you shoot music videos at the slot, like
- 5:09Speaker 1: nobody is putting a house on Airbnb to get air
- 5:12Speaker 1: BB prices when y'all are shooting million dollar videos, like
- 5:16Speaker 1: nobody's doing that well, these I think these videos are
- 5:20Speaker 1: TikTok and trailer. Sometimes. I'm not saying that this that
- 5:26Speaker 1: was the case for this, but I think sometimes it
- 5:29Speaker 1: involves you know, uh TikTok trailer. But from what I
- 5:34Speaker 1: read UM, when the owner got there, he went to
- 5:37Speaker 1: shut it down, he was knocked on the ground by
- 5:39Speaker 1: an unknown person. They also claimed that when the baby
- 5:42Speaker 1: got out of the car, uh, they chased him into
- 5:45Speaker 1: the house and warned them not to call the police.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Then sucker punched them in the mouth. Um also says
- 5:51Speaker 1: that the baby uh knocked the tooth out and left
- 5:54Speaker 1: him bloody. Now I've met the baby, the baby is
- 5:56Speaker 1: a nice guy. I don't think the baby is even
- 6:00Speaker 1: capable of such a heinous accusation. I mean, I ain't
- 6:05Speaker 1: gonna putbody and I don't know what happened because I
- 6:10Speaker 1: wasn't Now he's innocent, Okay, well listen, I wasn't there.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I don't know what happened. What I will say is, yes,
- 6:18Speaker 1: the baby is a very nice person. He's a he's
- 6:20Speaker 1: a people person. He's somewhat easy to talk to. But
- 6:25Speaker 1: do I think that he's not capable of doing what
- 6:28Speaker 1: he allegedly did and he seeing what he don't play,
- 6:34Speaker 1: shouting man not saying several times, okay, what what do
- 6:37Speaker 1: you say for ur? He he a rapper that will
- 6:39Speaker 1: really pop off, like stop y'all. He says it in
- 6:42Speaker 1: his music all the time. We've seen video of him
- 6:45Speaker 1: being help a promoter. You know again, well, it didn't
- 6:52Speaker 1: looked like the promoter was laughing at that time. It
- 6:54Speaker 1: didn't look funny at all at that time. Now again,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I say they did it. I don't know. I don't know. People,
- 7:01Speaker 1: I wasn't there. I don't know what happened. But don't
- 7:03Speaker 1: be sitting here and talking about he's too nice to
- 7:05Speaker 1: do something like that, because he's nice with them hands too, Okay,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and he has shown us that several times. He's a
- 7:11Speaker 1: nice guy with the hands. All right, Let's get serious though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: because Tiger Woods is recovering playing surgery to repair significant
- 7:20Speaker 1: injuries to his right leg. From what I've heard, it's
- 7:23Speaker 1: all on espn um that he's even if he makes
- 7:28Speaker 1: it out of surgery, which they said it's a nine
- 7:30Speaker 1: nine point nine percent chance, and making that surgery, he's
- 7:32Speaker 1: gonna have to return daily to clean out the muscle
- 7:37Speaker 1: area of the muscle tissues and all that stuff. He
- 7:40Speaker 1: got into a pretty bad accident, and uh, Sue Solo.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We were talking about that on the radio streets now
- 7:45Speaker 1: four five Monday through Friday two pm to six pm.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Roran Sewart two were talking about this, and uh, we
- 7:52Speaker 1: were a little nervous because she was like, where is that?
- 7:54Speaker 1: And I said, I guarantee you it's in Los Angeles
- 7:56Speaker 1: because they got those heels man, those little windy hills
- 8:00Speaker 1: that tend to you know, can be prone to bad
- 8:05Speaker 1: car accidents if you lose focus for I'd say a second. Now, yeah,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I mean honestly, when I saw, you know, it kind
- 8:13Speaker 1: of just came across the screen. We're at the radio station,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and um, they said it was a single car crash.
- 8:18Speaker 1: So I'm thinking, okay, Like damn, I hope he wasn't
- 8:20Speaker 1: trump driving. I hope he wasn't under the influence of anything.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And to see the photo, it does look like the
- 8:25Speaker 1: car fell from a hill, like a cliff for one
- 8:28Speaker 1: of those windy roads that you were describing. The one
- 8:31Speaker 1: thing that I immediately thought about was obviously number one.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I hope he's okay. I hope he makes it through.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Number two was is he going to be able to
- 8:40Speaker 1: play golf as well as he was with a messed
- 8:44Speaker 1: up leg. Um. I don't know how intense his injuries are.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I don't know permanent damage. I don't know anything like
- 8:50Speaker 1: that right now, but I could imagine that if there's
- 8:53Speaker 1: something wrong, permanently wrong with his legs, because then I
- 8:56Speaker 1: have to retrain his body on how to play golf,
- 8:59Speaker 1: because you need some sturdy athlete. Yeah, based off I'm
- 9:03Speaker 1: a ESPN junkie. Based off the reports, Uh, they said
- 9:06Speaker 1: it's gonna be an eight to twelve month recovery. So
- 9:09Speaker 1: if I'm not even going to note if he can
- 9:11Speaker 1: play golf within until after that time frame. So we're
- 9:15Speaker 1: about a year out, you know what. And he's alive.
- 9:19Speaker 1: He is well. He's made it through some crazy things
- 9:23Speaker 1: in his career, in his life, and I think that
- 9:25Speaker 1: he will make it through this just and that's what
- 9:27Speaker 1: people are happy about. People are happy that he's alive,
- 9:29Speaker 1: more so as the golf park because he's already and
- 9:33Speaker 1: they did report that he was not impaired, and it
- 9:36Speaker 1: was quite it was like a pretty big road. It
- 9:39Speaker 1: wasn't like a little narrow road, and it was he
- 9:42Speaker 1: was the only one in the accident. So I'm not sure.
- 9:45Speaker 1: We're still you know, waiting for details on this story.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But he is well, and I feel like he should
- 9:53Speaker 1: just relax and just let his body, you know, recover,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and it may be the time to wrap it up
- 9:58Speaker 1: with golf and just be the dad who coaches your
- 10:00Speaker 1: son to be another youth. Yeah, you got kids. It's
- 10:04Speaker 1: time for him to be daddy Tiger, just daddy Tiger
- 10:07Speaker 1: and eventually be Granddaddy Tiger. How about that? I think so.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And you know, he was just doing the father's son tournament,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I believe, with his son um and his son as
- 10:17Speaker 1: a golfer. So I think it's about that time. Listen, y'all, man,
- 10:21Speaker 1: check on your mental health, your physical health. Make sure
- 10:23Speaker 1: that you know that you are blessed every day that
- 10:25Speaker 1: you wake up, Okay, and do not take the ship
- 10:28Speaker 1: for granted. Because people are losing their lives at the
- 10:30Speaker 1: drop of a dime. I mean, this is a real.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Death is real, and I don't think that a lot
- 10:37Speaker 1: of us, you know, really consider how quickly like to
- 10:40Speaker 1: be taken away. So keep your loved ones close. That's
- 10:44Speaker 1: all I can say. Speaking of close guys and at
- 10:47Speaker 1: home shots of Johnson and Johnson COVID nineteen's vaccine will
- 10:51Speaker 1: roll out in New York City. New York's plans to
- 10:54Speaker 1: distribute Johnson and Johnson single dose of COVID nineteen vaccine
- 10:57Speaker 1: to his senior residences once the vaccine maker receives approval
- 11:02Speaker 1: for emergency use authorization. Johnson Johnson Player has pledged to
- 11:06Speaker 1: provide twenty million doses of the single dose COVID nineteen
- 11:10Speaker 1: vaccine by the end of March. UM they're waiting for
- 11:13Speaker 1: the FDA to give it emergency authorization. What do you
- 11:17Speaker 1: guys think about to get it? Um? Didn't Johnson Johnson
- 11:21Speaker 1: do like a recall because they have like ebola and
- 11:23Speaker 1: the baby powder or something like that, Like okay, calm down,
- 11:29Speaker 1: go down. So you guys are still not taking the vaccine, right,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna start researching they're talking about taking the vaccines.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I will go ahead soon. What do you say, are
- 11:39Speaker 1: you gonna take the original vaccine or are you gonna
- 11:41Speaker 1: take the vaccine that they tweaked because now they're talking
- 11:44Speaker 1: about they're gonna tweak it because of the new strands.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Had they tested the tweet vaccine now they have not.
- 11:51Speaker 1: They're going to tweak it and inject your ass with it,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and you're gonna come to work with a third arm
- 11:56Speaker 1: in two eyes that looked the other way. No, I'm
- 12:00Speaker 1: not listen. As long as for our as comfortable we're
- 12:03Speaker 1: taking it. That's all that matters. That's all that matters. Listen,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you do what's right for you. Just know, don't you
- 12:10Speaker 1: don't want to be the test dummy. Okay, I don't
- 12:12Speaker 1: know if I want to be. No testing method. We're
- 12:13Speaker 1: gonna tweak you guys know over I'd say a third
- 12:17Speaker 1: of the population just about the vaccine. That's great, that's
- 12:22Speaker 1: so great. I hope that by next year these people
- 12:26Speaker 1: are still normal and healthy. Speed all right, sou solo.
- 12:33Speaker 1: We did have get get good news because you told
- 12:35Speaker 1: me last week I touched on it. I said, you
- 12:37Speaker 1: spoke to your mom. Yes, very quick updates on give
- 12:41Speaker 1: you'll very quick update on what's going on with the genocide.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Let's be very clear, it is a genocide happening Integrae, Ethiopia,
- 12:49Speaker 1: which is the northern region of Ethiopia where my family
- 12:51Speaker 1: is from, where my mother currently lives. Um, So what
- 12:55Speaker 1: has been happening. It was about a hundred days there
- 12:57Speaker 1: was absolutely no power. There was a communication blackout. These
- 13:01Speaker 1: people could not work, could not get medical attention, They
- 13:03Speaker 1: could not go to the grocery stores, couldn't access their
- 13:05Speaker 1: money to the bank. Let me stop saying couldn't. They
- 13:08Speaker 1: still cannot, Okay, but it was. It was a hundred
- 13:11Speaker 1: days of absolutely no communication with my mom whatsoever. No Facebook,
- 13:16Speaker 1: no text messages, no emails, no phone calls, no none
- 13:20Speaker 1: of that. Um. So, I had absolutely no idea if
- 13:23Speaker 1: she was still in her town. I had no idea
- 13:25Speaker 1: that she had walked hundreds of miles to Sudan as
- 13:29Speaker 1: a refugee. I didn't know she was dead or alive.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And by the grace of God, by the grace of
- 13:35Speaker 1: the ancestors who kept her this entire time, my mom,
- 13:40Speaker 1: as of and I really hate to to talk like this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but as of last week, is alive and well. Um.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I did hear that the power and the communication has
- 13:51Speaker 1: been shut back off in some areas of the region.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I have not spoken to my mom for the past
- 13:57Speaker 1: three or four days at this point, so I'm concerned,
- 14:01Speaker 1: but that the blackout maybe back in effect in her area.
- 14:05Speaker 1: But um, it was a big relief to talk to
- 14:07Speaker 1: her and to know that. Um, you know she she
- 14:12Speaker 1: my mom has always been a person that prepared for
- 14:15Speaker 1: the worst. Um, she's never kept all of her money
- 14:18Speaker 1: in the bank. She's never you know, she she's just
- 14:20Speaker 1: always made sure to have a stash of whether it
- 14:23Speaker 1: was food supplies. And I never understood going up why
- 14:28Speaker 1: my mom was like this, and you know, it really
- 14:30Speaker 1: didn't come to it really didn't make sense until this time.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I have to remember that, you know, my mom also
- 14:36Speaker 1: survived a famine, you know, as a child. So, UM,
- 14:42Speaker 1: the warm tap, right is still very serious. We still
- 14:44Speaker 1: need attention. So please you guys. I've been seeing y'all.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Y'all have been deeming me. Um, you guys have been
- 14:49Speaker 1: sending me articles, you guys, tagging and stuff. I really
- 14:53Speaker 1: appreciate you guys making sure that she send me information.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But I also need you guys to make sure that
- 14:57Speaker 1: you are tweeting about it. I know it sounds crazy,
- 15:01Speaker 1: but tweeting actually does get a lot of attention. Um.
- 15:04Speaker 1: The proper people and the proper positions of power really
- 15:07Speaker 1: do get to see those things if we can make
- 15:10Speaker 1: it trending. UM, So just DM me and underscores too.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Solo s U s O l O. It's the same
- 15:16Speaker 1: on Twitter, and um, I can direct you to some
- 15:19Speaker 1: websites that I actually already have like prefixed tweets for you.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That way you don't have to worry about if you're
- 15:24Speaker 1: telling something, if you're telling the right story, or if
- 15:26Speaker 1: you're using the right hashtags. It's already done, just copy
- 15:29Speaker 1: and paste. Um. But there are still thousands of people
- 15:32Speaker 1: dying daily, So I just want to say that, you know,
- 15:36Speaker 1: if black lives matter, they really have to matter everywhere.
- 15:39Speaker 1: So please just take a moment to tweet about the
- 15:42Speaker 1: genocide happening in tig Ethiopia, and continue to pray for Ethiopia.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And again I appreciate y'all do not take life for granted. Literally,
- 15:50Speaker 1: people are dropping life flies. So hopefully next week there
- 15:55Speaker 1: will be um more great news. Hopefully I would have
- 15:57Speaker 1: spoken to my mother again and hopefully we can end
- 16:02Speaker 1: end this genocide. Hey, listen, man, that is a This
- 16:06Speaker 1: is a great update, you know, from the past few weeks. Absolutely,
- 16:09Speaker 1: this is one of the best updates we have so far. Man.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Coming up next on the Brother of Alert show where
- 16:15Speaker 1: we got sup. Well, you guys, we are going to
- 16:17Speaker 1: be talking to a very young man of former more
- 16:20Speaker 1: House College student who has been doing some really good
- 16:23Speaker 1: things for his fellow HBC you, um colleagues, So stick around.
- 16:29Speaker 1: We're gonna be talking to Bryce Thompson in just a
- 16:31Speaker 1: few minutes. You're listening to the show. Back to the
- 16:37Speaker 1: Ball of Alert Show Starry March, Ferrari Simmons and Sue Solo. Alright, Hey,
- 16:44Speaker 1: ball the Nation, Welcome back to the Ball of Alert
- 16:47Speaker 1: Show pot cast. We are going to be talking to
- 16:50Speaker 1: former more House College student who is a twenty four
- 16:53Speaker 1: year old entrepreneur, Bryce Thompson. What's up, Let's do what's
- 16:57Speaker 1: going on? What's going on now? You tell lou about
- 17:00Speaker 1: Let's do it. What are you doing out here in
- 17:02Speaker 1: the streets that got your ass on the Baller Alert
- 17:05Speaker 1: Show podcast? Um, you know we just did, uh, we
- 17:09Speaker 1: just did a scholarship tour just recently a few weeks ago,
- 17:12Speaker 1: where we we went to about five to seven different
- 17:16Speaker 1: cities and you know, personally handed out scholarships to attend
- 17:20Speaker 1: were actually eleven different HBC Unit HBCU students around the
- 17:24Speaker 1: country work. I mean, you know, let me tell you
- 17:29Speaker 1: Black History Month. Okay, this is black people loving on
- 17:32Speaker 1: black people. Of course you're being a former more House
- 17:36Speaker 1: College student, you know, it gives a little spice because
- 17:39Speaker 1: you know we are here in Atlanta, so we under
- 17:41Speaker 1: a little extra credit, little extra flavor for for that
- 17:44Speaker 1: more House College. Now, how did you determine like where
- 17:48Speaker 1: these college uh scholarships were going? I mean, so you know,
- 17:56Speaker 1: everything that's been going on in the world over the
- 17:57Speaker 1: last twelve months with the Black Lives Matter more mint um,
- 18:00Speaker 1: I went to an HBCU hbc myself, and I think
- 18:05Speaker 1: HBCUs are unique and what they offered, just from my
- 18:07Speaker 1: own experience, I wanted it to be catered specifically specifically
- 18:12Speaker 1: to h b c US. Now, you know, this is
- 18:15Speaker 1: the first one we've ever did. I'm not you know,
- 18:18Speaker 1: that's that's not me saying that. You know, later down
- 18:20Speaker 1: the road or years from now, we may expand it,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you know amongks other college institutions outside of hbc US
- 18:28Speaker 1: as well. But you know, the first one specifically for
- 18:32Speaker 1: HBCU students. So I had to pay how much continue
- 18:37Speaker 1: to pay how muche to hbc S. Okay, I think
- 18:40Speaker 1: it is so important that not only we continue to
- 18:44Speaker 1: show support to hbc U s, but that we do
- 18:48Speaker 1: that even when we leave Okay, Now I didn't go
- 18:51Speaker 1: to HBCU, but I'm gonna say we because I feel
- 18:54Speaker 1: like like I'm a part of the team. Okay, definitely.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So what's what's in your near future or what what
- 19:00Speaker 1: else do you plan to do to help HBCUs. For me,
- 19:04Speaker 1: I was, you know, I want to get to a
- 19:05Speaker 1: point where you know, I can do with Robert A.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Smith did for more House just recently, where you paid
- 19:11Speaker 1: all the student loans off for you know, all of
- 19:13Speaker 1: the graduates. I think it was foren which was you know,
- 19:18Speaker 1: huge major. But you know, as of right now, you
- 19:24Speaker 1: know we we actually just made the decision to go
- 19:27Speaker 1: go ahead and pay it forward and you know, do
- 19:29Speaker 1: this again for next year. So you know that gives uh,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you know, even more students opportunity to apply and you know,
- 19:36Speaker 1: be granted a scholarship through our foundation. Now, tell me
- 19:40Speaker 1: how happy did it make you to be able to
- 19:43Speaker 1: be a part of something so strong and so motivating.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I mean, if somebody would have gave you some me
- 19:48Speaker 1: it would have been like if somebody has tell you
- 19:52Speaker 1: to you're you're you are a young man doing this.
- 19:55Speaker 1: No for sure, I'm you know, I'm I'm gonna be honest,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I've you know, I've had a lot of things make me,
- 20:00Speaker 1: you know, make me feel good and make me, make
- 20:02Speaker 1: me happy. I've been you know, I've been blessed financially
- 20:06Speaker 1: over the last years to being able to buy myself
- 20:08Speaker 1: certain things and do certain things for my family. But
- 20:12Speaker 1: you know, it's it's it's a lifer. It's a little different,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Like I think, it's different tiers. Like one one you're
- 20:17Speaker 1: able to do for yourself. Second phase you're able to
- 20:20Speaker 1: do for like your family and the people that you know.
- 20:22Speaker 1: And then that her phase, it's like you you're able
- 20:25Speaker 1: to do stuff for people that you don't know, um,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you know, And I think that that that's probably been
- 20:31Speaker 1: the best feeling I've ever experienced, like being able to
- 20:35Speaker 1: you know, impact and affect people personally that I've never
- 20:39Speaker 1: I've never met before. And a real quick right, what
- 20:43Speaker 1: is it that you do? I know you're young, Like
- 20:45Speaker 1: you said, you you've done so much. Uh can you
- 20:49Speaker 1: explain to people what you do exactly? What's your job description? Sir? No? Right, So,
- 20:54Speaker 1: so I run in the run an investment group. So
- 20:57Speaker 1: a few years ago, me and uh few of my
- 21:00Speaker 1: college friends we got we got acclimated with an educational
- 21:03Speaker 1: platform called Iron Academy, and basically, you know, they help us,
- 21:10Speaker 1: they help us learn how to actually invest in the
- 21:12Speaker 1: foreign exchange market, the cryptocurrency market, um as well as
- 21:16Speaker 1: other financial markets as well. So you know, we built
- 21:20Speaker 1: a massive group over the last few years of seventy thousand,
- 21:25Speaker 1: seventy thousand plush people like we have. We have organizations
- 21:28Speaker 1: and you know, multiple countries now, and you know, outside
- 21:32Speaker 1: of that, I've I'm also an investor. So a lot
- 21:35Speaker 1: of the money, you know, you know, you can see
- 21:38Speaker 1: in we we've been in a pendent. We were still
- 21:41Speaker 1: in a pandemic, and you know, people people don't want
- 21:44Speaker 1: to use paper money. A lot of things are happening digitally.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Like even the other days, I didn't even know you
- 21:50Speaker 1: can tap your credit card. You don't even gotta stick
- 21:52Speaker 1: it in, you gotta swipe it. You can literally type,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you can just tap. I just I just realized that
- 21:58Speaker 1: like a few days ago. So a lot of you know,
- 22:00Speaker 1: a lot of different things are happening digitally, which is
- 22:03Speaker 1: making you know, the price of cryptocurrencies skyrocket up, you know, tremendously.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Financially was my my biggest year and the bulk of
- 22:13Speaker 1: my income came from, you know, investing in cryptocurrency. So
- 22:18Speaker 1: by the end of the year or closer than the year,
- 22:20Speaker 1: that's when I made the decision. It's like, wow, you know, financially,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm in a position to where I can, you know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: not only help myself or my family, but I can
- 22:29Speaker 1: directly help, you know, even the people that I don't know,
- 22:33Speaker 1: you said cryptocurrency. Could you touch on this dodge coin,
- 22:38Speaker 1: uh frenzy that I see people were talking about talking
- 22:42Speaker 1: to it? Yeah, is it a long haul play? I don't.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think it's a long haul play
- 22:48Speaker 1: at all. Me personally, um, you know, And that's just
- 22:52Speaker 1: that's just my full on opinion. I'm not personally well,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm not heavily invested in in dodge Coin. I am
- 23:00Speaker 1: heavily invested in you know, the other more mainstream cryptocurrencies
- 23:05Speaker 1: that have been around, like the big point, light coin, Etherorium,
- 23:09Speaker 1: those are those are more long term, safe, safer investments,
- 23:12Speaker 1: safer investments as spar as cryptocurrencies are concerned, for sure.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I was just gonna ask you, you know, what would
- 23:17Speaker 1: your advice be for college kids go on your route
- 23:23Speaker 1: to you know, make it out of life. Oh man.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Financial literacy. Uh, financial literacy is a big thing, especially
- 23:30Speaker 1: for you know, young millennials like myself. I think financial
- 23:34Speaker 1: literacy is more important than finances itself. Um you know,
- 23:39Speaker 1: because you know, you one thing worse than not having
- 23:43Speaker 1: finances is actually getting finances and losing it because you
- 23:47Speaker 1: don't know what to do with it. So, you know,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I think, you know, I think a lot of you know,
- 23:51Speaker 1: young individuals, they they're so caught up on you know,
- 23:54Speaker 1: making money and you know, get into a certain place
- 23:58Speaker 1: financially to do this that or the third when in reality,
- 24:01Speaker 1: but you know, they should put we all should put
- 24:04Speaker 1: more focus on actually learning what to do with a
- 24:07Speaker 1: certain amount of money that we desire, that we want
- 24:10Speaker 1: so when it comes, we won't just have it for
- 24:13Speaker 1: a year, We'll have it forever. Yeah, I know that's
- 24:17Speaker 1: why you got to say that. Listen, ladies, he is young, Okay,
- 24:20Speaker 1: he is educated. He got some money from from to
- 24:24Speaker 1: sound like Okay, I don't know if he got a
- 24:26Speaker 1: girl or what the case is, but please tell everybody
- 24:30Speaker 1: where they can find you so we can continue to
- 24:32Speaker 1: keep up with the amazing work that you're doing. No
- 24:35Speaker 1: for sure. You know. I'm on a few different platforms,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but I think it's it's best, you know, easier to
- 24:42Speaker 1: contact me or reach out to me through Instagram, be
- 24:46Speaker 1: Thompson the pictrol on Instagram, a lot of my other platforms.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You can get to me through there. So be so proud.
- 24:52Speaker 1: It's just so exciting to see black people do what
- 24:55Speaker 1: you are doing right now. We love it, man, I'll
- 24:58Speaker 1: see y'all. Let the talk back with more of the message. Yo, Rory,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I just broke up with my lady man. She created
- 25:09Speaker 1: a fake Instagram page to catch me cheating. I wasn't cheating,
- 25:12Speaker 1: so I called on it was her and decided to
- 25:15Speaker 1: go forward with the exchange all the way into the
- 25:17Speaker 1: meet up when she walked Then she walked in trying
- 25:21Speaker 1: to go off on me, only to walk in on
- 25:23Speaker 1: all the proof that I had that she was trying
- 25:25Speaker 1: to play me. I felt like I won the championship problem,
- 25:30Speaker 1: but afterwards I felt terrible for putting all this energy
- 25:33Speaker 1: and to proving myself to be innocent and breaking up
- 25:36Speaker 1: with her. Should I have done it easier and stayed
- 25:39Speaker 1: with her or did she deserve what she got? Side?
- 25:42Speaker 1: And note we are we are back in the talking
- 25:44Speaker 1: stages again. But I'm not trying to deal with all
- 25:46Speaker 1: that b s again. Player. Player. The keyword of this
- 25:56Speaker 1: whole thing was uh and energy. You spent all that
- 26:02Speaker 1: energy to prove your lady wrong, and I'm gonna give
- 26:07Speaker 1: you a man to man tip. Sometimes when you just
- 26:10Speaker 1: prove your lady wrong, you wrong too. Okay, when you
- 26:15Speaker 1: try to make it that your your lady lose the argument,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you also lose the argument. My brother, you should have
- 26:25Speaker 1: just did what your ass was supposed to do and
- 26:29Speaker 1: ignore the DM, don't even reply, don't even circumb to
- 26:34Speaker 1: the d M or whatever the play it was she
- 26:36Speaker 1: was trying to do to catch your ass. You should
- 26:39Speaker 1: have just left it alone and y'all probably would have
- 26:42Speaker 1: it still together. But instead you created a whole mess,
- 26:46Speaker 1: a headache, and she could even feel a certain way
- 26:51Speaker 1: because you did play along with it even though you
- 26:54Speaker 1: was playing a game. Like how immature is that? That's
- 26:58Speaker 1: kind of immatured. All that's just my personal opinion. Now,
- 27:02Speaker 1: would I get back with her? I probably would not.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It depends on what stage y'all was in the relationship.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Seems like you guys are kind of young. This seems
- 27:10Speaker 1: like very college issue because they're no grown lady doing
- 27:13Speaker 1: all that. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong. I know. Uh,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Tunisia ain't doing all that. Okay if she if she
- 27:21Speaker 1: thinks I'm cheating her, it's gonna get up out of there.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Uh let me just say this quick, Okay, sir. You
- 27:31Speaker 1: put all that energy into it because you wanted to
- 27:35Speaker 1: prove the one time that your ass is actually innocent.
- 27:38Speaker 1: That's why you did all that. That's the only reason
- 27:41Speaker 1: why you're considering getting back with her, because you proved
- 27:44Speaker 1: her wrong one time. Okay, relax, that's the only reason
- 27:52Speaker 1: he put all the energy into it because oh, I know,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I'm I ain't cheating this time. Let me get all
- 27:58Speaker 1: the proofs a guy that make her feel sill with it.
- 28:00Speaker 1: And then after you made her feel stupid, you sat
- 28:02Speaker 1: back and said, damn, my bits really be known. And
- 28:05Speaker 1: then look you said, I felt like I would a
- 28:07Speaker 1: championship chrophy. Come on, bro, but what to be right? Nah,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I ain't have a relationships should work that ain't because
- 28:15Speaker 1: you got away with it this time. That's why, and
- 28:17Speaker 1: and that's why you feel how you feel. That's why
- 28:20Speaker 1: you want to take her back because if she was
- 28:22Speaker 1: really uh, this woman who was nagging you and you
- 28:26Speaker 1: ain't been doing nothing wrong, you're not taking her back,
- 28:29Speaker 1: just going I think y'a should just go y'all separate ways. Uh,
- 28:32Speaker 1: you're trying to look like y'all trying to be with
- 28:35Speaker 1: each other out of convenience this second go around. Uh
- 28:37Speaker 1: seems like you're kind of young, because this is some
- 28:39Speaker 1: young folks ship. Uh, this generation Z mix, this is
- 28:44Speaker 1: definitely some generation Z ship. So just leave it alone. Uh,
- 28:48Speaker 1: and then just don't do that again. Just don't do
- 28:51Speaker 1: it again. You were right cool, that's what's up. But
- 28:54Speaker 1: you also lost because you lost she like okay, So
- 28:58Speaker 1: if she especially if she was a good you know
- 29:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying, she's a good woman, and she she
- 29:02Speaker 1: made a mistake, and she made a mistake, you don't
- 29:04Speaker 1: gotta rubber face in it, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So I mean, I just think, just grow up a
- 29:08Speaker 1: little bit, uh, and just don't do that again. I
- 29:11Speaker 1: think next time, if that were to happen, you don't
- 29:13Speaker 1: know what to do and what not to do. Just
- 29:15Speaker 1: be like na bad or just ignore it. I ignore
- 29:18Speaker 1: d M all the time you did. I don't even
- 29:21Speaker 1: reply to the d M. Matter of fact, I don't
- 29:23Speaker 1: even put. I don't even open up the d M
- 29:25Speaker 1: so you can put so you can even see that
- 29:28Speaker 1: I saw the DM. You did what I'm saying, So
- 29:30Speaker 1: don't even that thing. Do that again, bro, Just all
- 29:33Speaker 1: back wise words, Ferrari, take us up out of here,
- 29:38Speaker 1: flower man. I actually had something today and just crossed
- 29:41Speaker 1: my mind. Man, and uh, it's gonna be quick, short
- 29:45Speaker 1: and sweet. Spread knowledge. Spread your knowledge, man, Put your
- 29:50Speaker 1: people on. I think I started to see a lot
- 29:52Speaker 1: of people holding some seats. Uh, you're holding seats. You're
- 29:57Speaker 1: holding seats because you're intimidated by the young study intimidate
- 30:00Speaker 1: by the people that are younger than you. You are
- 30:01Speaker 1: also intimidated by the people who may be better than you.
- 30:06Speaker 1: You're holding seats because you're scared. If you, if you didn't,
- 30:10Speaker 1: if you, if you recommend it a youngster or someone
- 30:14Speaker 1: who's younger than you were, you paid it forward. That
- 30:17Speaker 1: actually makes you look good. It adds to your blessings
- 30:21Speaker 1: that's gonna come to you. I just think you know,
- 30:24Speaker 1: put your people on, pay it forward and stop holding
- 30:28Speaker 1: seats because some of y'all as old as hell and
- 30:30Speaker 1: you're starting to look corny. We'll see you next week
