- 0:43heart of every man, woman, and child whom you have called to this ministry of your your grace.
- 0:50Father, for your love and your goodness to us for another day,
- 0:54we thank you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. You may be seated.
- 1:03Did you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day, Friday, just like I did? It was terrific.
- 1:10You know, they sort of Shanghai'd me and took me to a Sadie Hawkins dance and got me married off.
- 1:19I got a lot of valentine's too on friday
- 1:22do you get a lot of valentine's you know i can remember the
- 1:25old days i remember one particular day when i got one valentine years ago and
- 1:31it was addressed to occupant do you ever have days like that just amazing the
- 1:37grace we stand in today brothers and sisters we can give each other valentine
- 1:41hugs and kisses open your bibles tonight to psalm,
- 1:45psalms 19 that's a great song to open up the teaching tonight amazing grace
- 1:51you know thinking back on some of those old days when i was a little whippersnapper
- 1:56i would often go out in my backyard,
- 2:01And I would take my trusty telescope. You know,
- 2:05I'd save my nickels and my dimes and I bought a telescope and I would sit out
- 2:10there on balmy spring or summer evenings and I would look at the heavens and I would wonder.
- 2:17I think that's when I began really to wonder what this was all about.
- 2:23The heavens, the stars, the moon. Those were the days of Sputnik too.
- 2:28Remember Sputnik? Are you all young enough to remember Sputnik? and
- 2:31I'd see Sputnik up there and I'd track it in my reflector
- 2:35telescope all the way across the heavens and then
- 2:38I'd find Jupiter and I'd see four or five of the
- 2:40moons and I'd see Saturn with rings around Saturn and I just began to wonder
- 2:46more and more why Psalm 19 is a very exciting Psalm it begins with the creator
- 2:54and it ends with man's redemption let's read the first few verses verses of Psalm 19,
- 3:00the heavens, meaning the expanse, declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork.
- 3:10Day unto day uttereth speech and night unto night showeth knowledge or information or prophecy.
- 3:18There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
- 3:23Their line is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world.
- 3:29In them, in the heavens, meaning the expanse. Now, God is not talking about the stars here.
- 3:35He's not talking about the moon and the sun and the planets and the asteroids
- 3:38and all those other things we learn about in Star Trek.
- 3:41He's talking about the expanse, the heavens.
- 3:48Continuing in verse 4, in them, in the heavens, hath he set a tabernacle for
- 3:53the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
- 3:57and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
- 4:01His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it.
- 4:06And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
- 4:09Verse 7, the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.
- 4:14Soul the testimony of the lord is sure making
- 4:18wise the simple the statutes of
- 4:21the lord are right rejoicing the heart the commandment
- 4:24of the lord is pure enlightening the eyes did
- 4:28you know that the whole redemption of man is written in the
- 4:30stars the whole story of mankind and his redemption and the story of jesus christ
- 4:37and what he would accomplish for us is written in those stars no No wonder you
- 4:40and I were sort of led to those stars to look at them and to wonder and to begin
- 4:46to feel in the depths of our souls, what is this all about?
- 4:49What are the stars about? What are the heavens about?
- 4:53Did you know that before God ever made the stars, the moon and the sun, that he made the earth?
- 4:59Look at Genesis chapter 1.
- 5:03Genesis chapter 1 and verse 1. In the beginning, God created the heavens,
- 5:09meaning the expanse, not talking about the stars, the moon, the sun, and the earth.
- 5:17Verse 14, jump over to there. After all these days have passed by and God said,
- 5:22the word of God said, let there be lights in the firmament or the expanse, the heavens,
- 5:29of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and
- 5:34for seasons and for days and years.
- 5:37Verse 15, and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.
- 5:43And it was so. In verse 16, and God made two great lights, the greater light
- 5:49to divide the day or to rule the day, the lesser light to rule the night.
- 5:53He made the stars also after he had made the earth.
- 5:58Did you ever see that before in
- 5:59the word? The earth is the reason for this universe that we see out there.
- 6:05God made the stars, the moon, the sun, the heavens or the universe for the earth.
- 6:12Isn't that amazing? Amazing.
- 6:14Now, if the earth is the reason for the universe, what's the reason for the earth?
- 6:21Look at verse 26. Verse 26, and God said,
- 6:25after he had made the earth, after he had made the stars, the suns,
- 6:29and so on, and the plants, and the soul life, and those creeping things went
- 6:35creeping around, and the whales, and the fishes, and so on.
- 6:38He said in verse 26, let us make man in our image.
- 6:43After our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over
- 6:49the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every
- 6:53creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- 6:56So God created man is his image. In the image of God created he him.
- 7:02Male and female created he them.
- 7:05God created man in his image. We know from John 4, 24 that God is what? Spirit.
- 7:12When God created man, he made man whole, not like natural man today,
- 7:17but he made man with body, with soul, and with what he is, spirit.
- 7:23Man had spirit in the beginning.
- 7:25So if the earth is the reason for the universe, and man is the reason for the
- 7:32earth, what is the reason for man?
- 7:36These are questions, you know, that astronomers have asked
- 7:39one another for years and years and years one of the current
- 7:42theories and i think the most popular theory in astronomy today
- 7:45is the theory of the oscillating universe you
- 7:48ever heard of that the oscillating universe the top
- 7:52scientists say and these are phd intellectuals they
- 7:55say that the universe was created by a
- 7:58big bang suddenly in the beginning there was a bang and
- 8:01everything began flowing out from one another but
- 8:05they'd only read the word of god that would blow their theory of
- 8:08the oscillating universe sky high but you
- 8:11know scientists and astronomers and physicists
- 8:14and so on they take their telescopes like
- 8:17we did when we were kids and they look at the heavens and they try to decide
- 8:21what's going on out there and what it's all about by looking through their telescopes
- 8:26but you know the heavens and the earth and man were made in the the beginning
- 8:33by the word of God. God is spirit.
- 8:36You cannot ascertain or you cannot synthesize or analyze spirit by means of
- 8:42a telescope or a Bunsen burner or a microscope.
- 8:46So if the earth is the reason for the universe and man is the reason for the
- 8:53earth, what is the reason for man? It's very very simple.
- 8:58God's love. Look at Ephesians 3.
- 9:02Ephesians chapter 3. I have to talk about Ephesians tonight.
- 9:06Ephesians chapter 3 comes right after chapter 2. Yes, here it is.
- 9:10This word is put together very systematically.
- 9:14Ephesians chapter 3, verse 14. For this cause, meaning the cause of the great
- 9:19mystery that the Apostle Paul is talking about,
- 9:22I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family
- 9:28in heaven and earth is named.
- 9:31You know, God uses figures of speech in his word so that we can understand him, right? We're man.
- 9:38We can only understand God in terms of our experiences.
- 9:44So he gives himself traits like a man so god calls himself a what a father god is a father and.
- 9:59The whole family in heaven meaning the angels and the earth is named after the great father god,
- 10:08The heart of God is the heart of a father. Man was created in order to have
- 10:15fellowship with a father.
- 10:16That is the whole reason for man, to have fellowship with a father who is love.
- 10:23Elena Whiteside wrote a beautiful little poem in the last issue of the magazine about love.
- 10:28And she said, in order for love to be, it has to be shared.
- 10:34God wanted his love to be shared. He wanted to have sons who would love him,
- 10:41who would know the heights, the depth, the length, and the breadth of the Father God who was love.
- 10:47That's the whole reason for man. And when man was made, formed,
- 10:51and created in the beginning, he was given that spirit so he could have fellowship with the Father.
- 10:58And he had that great fellowship until he blew it, right? You all know that story.
- 11:03And he lost that spirit. He lost the ability to have fellowship with the Father.
- 11:08Look at John 4, Gospel of John chapter 4 and verse 23.
- 11:15Jesus is talking to the woman at the well here and he says, The hour cometh,
- 11:20and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
- 11:28For the Father seeketh such to worship him. him.
- 11:32Man has been trying to worship God in his own way, with his idols,
- 11:38with his telescopes, with his systematic theology,
- 11:42trying to get back to God, not knowing that the only way you can truly worship God is in spirit.
- 11:49You've got to be born again, right?
- 11:51It's the only way you can really worship God. And God made man to worship him.
- 11:56God is love. He wants to be worshiped. He He wants to be loved.
- 11:59He wants to be adored. He wanted to have sons who would be able to walk with
- 12:04him and talk with him in the garden.
- 12:07To walk in the light of his word. To know the depths of his love.
- 12:13Look how God's image has been tainted through the years. People think that he's
- 12:19a wrathful God. People think that he's an angry God.
- 12:22The word says that God is love.
- 12:25And he wanted man to know that love. And so he gave him of his own spirit that
- 12:30he could walk in holy communion with him.
- 12:34Verse 24, God is spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. truth.
- 12:41Look at 1st John chapter 1. You may surmise by now that we're talking about fellowship with God.
- 12:49The whole reason for the creation is that God could place his man on this earth
- 12:55that he could have fellowship with him and walk in love.
- 12:591st John chapter 1 verse 3. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto
- 13:06you that you also may have fellowship with us.
- 13:09And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
- 13:15And these things write we unto you that your joy may be what? Full.
- 13:20It is God's will that our joy be full. It is God's will that we walk in fellowship
- 13:26with him day by day, that we believe his word, that we obey his word,
- 13:30that we may know the height, the depth, the length, and the breadth of his love.
- 13:35Back in psalms 19 you don't have to turn back there well i think that's a good
- 13:39good thing let's let's turn back there psalm 19 again maybe you kept your finger there.
- 13:46Back in psalm 19 let's pick up again with verse 9 where we left off the awe
- 13:51of the lord is clean enduring forever the judgments of the lord true and righteous altogether together.
- 14:00More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold,
- 14:04sweeter also than honey in the honeycomb.
- 14:07Moreover, by them is thy servant warned, and in keeping of them there is great reward.
- 14:13Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults.
- 14:18Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins.
- 14:22Let them not have dominion over me, then shall I be upright,
- 14:26and I I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
- 14:28But the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy
- 14:33sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
- 14:37See how this verse, declaring the glory of God, how it begins with the creator
- 14:43and it ends with man's redemption.
- 14:45You know, Dr. Whirlwall has written sort of a poem. It was in the last issue of the Way magazine.
- 14:50And I'd like to read that to you right now. he sums up in these few statements
- 14:56everything that you and I have as sons of God because we have been redeemed
- 15:01because Jesus Christ came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly,
- 15:07and this is what Dr. Werwill says in his article.
- 15:11Jesus Christ is not God. Speaking about Jesus Christ, he writes,
- 15:16it is he who sought me out from darkness.
- 15:19And I think we can all say the same thing as I read this.
- 15:22It is he who gave me access to God. Even now he is my mediator.
- 15:28It is he who saved me when I was dead in trespasses and sin.
- 15:32It is he who gave me the new birth of God's eternal life, which is Christ in me the hope of glory.
- 15:38It is he who gave me remission of sins and continues to give forgiveness of sins.
- 15:45It is he who filled me to capacity by God's presence in Christ in all the fullness
- 15:52of God's gift of Holy Spirit.
- 15:54It is he who was made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
- 16:01It is he who called me and set me in the heavenly.
- 16:05It is he who gave me his joy, peace, and love.
- 16:10It is he who appointed me as a spokesman for God's accurate word.
- 16:15May I be found faithful in that calling. It is he who is all in all to me that
- 16:21I might give my all for him.
- 16:23It is he who is God's only begotten son. Can you say amen to that?
- 16:29You know, it's It's absolutely fantastic what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.
- 16:33What he set up for us in the beginning.
- 16:36And despite the fact that man blew it, we all have it back and greater.
- 16:41We have that sanctification. We have that wisdom. We have that redemption.
- 16:45Didn't you always want to be a king's son?
- 16:48Didn't you always want, you girls, didn't you always want to be a princess?
- 16:52Wasn't that a longing in your heart? I always wanted to be a prince. Yeah.
- 16:57God has done that for us. He has made us joint heirs in Christ.
- 17:02He has made us heirs of the kingdom of God.
- 17:06You know, either all of this is true or none of it is true.
- 17:10Either it's all true, what we've been reading in the word tonight, or none of it is true.
- 17:15And if it is not true, then we're playing games with each other,
- 17:18aren't we? And we might as well go back to our telescopes and start looking at the stars again.
- 17:23Either all of it is true or none of it is true. And there comes a time when
- 17:28a man in this ministry has got to decide in his heart to say yes to the word of God.
- 17:35We said yes in the beginning when we first heard the word, didn't we?
- 17:39When we took that class on power for abundant living. Think of the excitement
- 17:44we had in our hearts when Dr. Wirt was on that screen.
- 17:47And he looked you right in the eye and he said, it's Christ in you,
- 17:50the hope of glory. Didn't you stand up on the inside when he said that?
- 17:54Boy, I did. I'll tell you, I dropped my good and plenty all over the floor.
- 17:58That's some kind of movie.
- 18:01Christ in you, the hope of glory. No, we've got to start believing that.
- 18:05We've got to start believing the accuracy of the word and acting on that word and walking out on it.
- 18:13Because God has called us, in the least common denominator, to have fellowship
- 18:18with him, that our joy may be full. Look at Psalms 40.
- 18:23Psalms 40, verse 16. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee.
- 18:34Let such as love thy salvation say continually, the Lord be magnified.
- 18:41After you've taken the class on about power for abundant
- 18:43living it becomes a walk you know that you are
- 18:46a son of god and it becomes a walk when you
- 18:49are born again you have sonship that
- 18:52you can never lose and you have at that point
- 18:55perfect fellowship with the father and now
- 18:57it is up to you and to me to walk in the
- 19:00light of that fellowship just as jesus christ did
- 19:03look at the things he did look at the goals he had
- 19:06look at the things he accomplished for man how he
- 19:09was a blessing to people we've got to be
- 19:12that same kind of blessing and the secret to being
- 19:15that kind of a blessing and to bringing to pass the
- 19:18great goals that you have for your life is sustained fellowship
- 19:22with the father we are seeking in this ministry that christ god in christ in
- 19:29us be magnified more and more and our old selves less and less that's what it
- 19:37is to see through the eyes of jesus christ,
- 19:39That's what it is to walk in his steps.
- 19:42That God in Christ be magnified in us more and more and our old selves less and less.
- 19:48That's what takes us to higher ground.
- 19:51Have you ever seen a picture of those great big fat balloons that have gondolas in the bottom of them?
- 19:57And they have ropes that hold those gondolas on and men get in them sometimes
- 20:01and they take off into the wild blue yonder. I think somebody did that this
- 20:06past summer, got in a gondola, took off over the wild blue yonder.
- 20:10His destination was Europe. Nobody ever heard from him again.
- 20:16Well, this example of the balloon with a gondola, do you know how they take off?
- 20:21They throw off the sand or the bricks or the leaden weight or whatever so that they can lift off.
- 20:26And then that helium that they have in the balloon takes them off the ground.
- 20:30We are seeking in this ministry as we walk in fellowship with the Father to
- 20:34lift off to the higher ground.
- 20:37But the senses would say that we concentrate on the ballast,
- 20:40that we take the ballast and we throw it off out of the gondola.
- 20:43God's word says that if we
- 20:46concentrate on the light of his word then he
- 20:49lifts us into higher ground and the ballast
- 20:52in our lives the sins that do so easily beset us the heavy weight that Hebrews
- 20:5912.1 talks about those things begin to disappear and our old man becomes less
- 21:06and less as the God in Christ in us is magnified,
- 21:10if there is one thing that defeats us us from lifting off to higher ground that
- 21:15keeps us out of fellowship with the father,
- 21:18it is sin consciousness we've got to get rid of that in this ministry and in our walk as.
- 21:27Becoming more and more mature christians we've got to get rid of that sin consciousness,
- 21:32we've got to claim all the promises and the greatness of
- 21:35the word of god that he has shown to us that we
- 21:38have so attentive tentatively listened to
- 21:41and heard we've got to get rid of that sin consciousness and
- 21:45there was one way to do it by concentrating on the light who
- 21:48is jesus christ and you know what happens when you have that sin consciousness
- 21:52you're defeated look at romans chapter 14 god would not have us defeated he
- 22:02doesn't want beaten sons he wants sons who are are standing up on the inside in every capacity.
- 22:08Romans chapter 14.
- 22:14And in verse 22, hast thou believing?
- 22:19Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that
- 22:25thing which he alloweth.
- 22:27And he that doubteth is, and the text reads, frustrated. Not damned.
- 22:32We're not damned. We're born again.
- 22:35He that doubteth is frustrated in the thing that he does.
- 22:41Because he eateth not of, what? Of believing. is the text.
- 22:45For whatsoever is not of believing is sin or broken fellowship.
- 22:50When we're not believing the word of God, we're out of fellowship.
- 22:54God does not want us out of fellowship. He knows we're not going to get anywhere.
- 22:58He knows we're going to be frustrated in the things that we try to do for him.
- 23:02Look at Hebrews chapter 12.
- 23:05Hebrews 12 and verse 1. Seeing we also are are compassed about with so great
- 23:11a cloud of witnesses as were itemized in chapter 11,
- 23:15with so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin
- 23:20which does so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is
- 23:25set before us looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of faith who for the
- 23:31joy that was set before him endured the cross,
- 23:34despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of God.
- 23:42Mary Loughran in the magazine department mentioned to
- 23:45me just a few days ago that she had asked some people in the ministry what goals
- 23:50they had what were their goals where were they going what were they trying to
- 23:54do with their lives now that they knew that they were son of God that they were
- 23:58more than conquerors in every situation and Mary told me that most people just didn't have any,
- 24:03they were waiting I suppose for God to push them off the deep end God doesn't do that,
- 24:09God relies on you and on me to obey his word. And then we see.
- 24:14First we believe and act and then we see. And he guides us. But he wants us
- 24:18to have. Do you have a goal for your life?
- 24:21Do you have a great goal that just thrills your heart and your soul?
- 24:25You ought to think about it. Jesus Christ had goals.
- 24:28There was something that he did that absolutely thrilled his soul every time
- 24:33he did it. And that was to teach the word.
- 24:35Because Jesus Christ was called to fully declare God.
- 24:39Whenever he was on those hillsides of Judea walking
- 24:42along the shores of Galilee and people were
- 24:45following him to be blessed by the word that he spoke you know
- 24:49that he was just thrilled in his heart every time he could share that
- 24:52word his goal was to teach the word and to redeem mankind and he understood
- 24:59the fullness of his goal only as he obeyed the word and literally walked out
- 25:03on it look at first John chapter 3 1 John 3 and verse 18.
- 25:12My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
- 25:18And hereby we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before him.
- 25:25For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart and knoweth all things.
- 25:30Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
- 25:36Then have we trust toward God.
- 25:39You know, there's another place, I think it's in Ephesians, where it says the
- 25:42light makes manifest that which is not in fellowship, the substance of that
- 25:48verse. Do you remember that verse?
- 25:50You can know when you are in fellowship and when you're not in fellowship.
- 25:54What does your heart say?
- 25:56Do you have confidence toward God? Are you really believing his word?
- 26:00You will know as you continue to walk in the light of that word,
- 26:04becoming more and more rooted and grounded in it, whether or not you're in fellowship.
- 26:09And only when you're in fellowship can you have confidence toward God.
- 26:13Look at Galatians chapter 5.
- 26:22Verse 16. This I say then, walk in the spirit, or in the light of the word,
- 26:28and you shall not be subject to the over-desires of the flesh.
- 26:33For the flesh lusteth against the spirit, the spirit against the flesh,
- 26:36Question these are contrary the one to the other so that you cannot do the things that you would.
- 26:42Have you been wondering why you haven't gotten everything done at this point
- 26:47in your walk? Maybe it's simply broken fellowship.
- 26:50But God has called us to do great exploits for him and says somewhere in the
- 26:55word. And we hear it in prophecy lots of times.
- 26:57He has called us to walk in the light of that word. He has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- 27:03We are his handiwork. He's called us to great exploit.
- 27:07But if we don't believe the word then we're never going to get anywhere on it,
- 27:11we've got to get going on our life's goal.
- 27:15That's really what i want to say to you tonight that sustained
- 27:19fellowship with the father is the
- 27:21secret to getting done in your life what god
- 27:24has called you to do look at second corinthians chapter
- 27:2813 second corinthians 13 all the way to the end verse 14 the grace of our lord
- 27:36jesus christ and the love of god and the communion of the holy spirit be with
- 27:42you all this word communion Communion is the Greek word koinonia, means fellowship.
- 27:47The fellowship of the Holy Communion. Have any of you experienced those very
- 27:54tender moments when God whispers sweet somethings in your ear?
- 27:59You know what I'm talking about? When he whispers those sweet somethings in your ear.
- 28:05Boy, oh boy, you just know that the word is true, don't you, when that happens.
- 28:09You just know that you're really a son of God. you know
- 28:12you've got that communion with him you know you've tapped
- 28:15in like the hotline to
- 28:19the father when he whispers oh
- 28:22sweet something's in your ear as you continue to read
- 28:25the word faithfully day by day to speak in tongues no astronomer will ever understand
- 28:31that no physicist will ever understand that spiritually spiritual things are
- 28:38spiritually discerned but man when we We speak in tongues.
- 28:42We know that we're a son of God.
- 28:45But even further down the road in our walk, when he whispers those sweet somethings
- 28:51in your ear because you're in fellowship, when he guides you,
- 28:53when he lifts you, what a fellowship, what a joy divine.
- 28:59Look at 1 Kings chapter 19. 1 Kings 19 verse 12.
- 29:04This is a story about Elijah, a great man of God who was walking in fellowship
- 29:10continually with the Father.
- 29:13But even he got weak and faint of mind every once in a while like we all do.
- 29:17God knows that. He lifts us up as we look to his word.
- 29:21But even Elijah got a little bit weak and a little bit faint in his mind.
- 29:25And in verse 12 let's start
- 29:27with verse 11 and he
- 29:31god said to elijah go forth and stand upon the mount before the lord and behold
- 29:37the lord passed by that mountain that elijah was standing by in a great and
- 29:43strong wind rent the mountains and break in pieces the rocks before the lord
- 29:48but the Lord was not in the wind.
- 29:52And after the wind, an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
- 29:58And after the earthquake, a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
- 30:04And after the fire, a still small voice.
- 30:08What a beautiful record how God teaches his people the great somethings,
- 30:14The sweet somethings that he whispers in your ear,
- 30:16even in the midst of the earthquakes and the fires around us and the towering
- 30:20infernos and the crashing 747s and capsizing ocean liners and the economy and
- 30:27everything else that's going on in this crazy mixed up world.
- 30:31As we walk in that sustained fellowship with him, he whispers those sweet somethings
- 30:37in our ear and we hear that still small voice and we know that everything that
- 30:43he has said in his word is true.
- 30:46As sons of God, we have been called out of the darkness of this world.
- 30:51We've been handpicked by God before the foundation of the world to have holy
- 30:57communion, to have that beautiful, tender fellowship with him.
- 31:01We have joy, we have love, we have peace, and we have freedom as men and women
- 31:07to the measure and to the extent that we do one thing, and that's obey his word.
- 31:14We have got to get on with the business of obeying the word.
- 31:19To be everything that our father has said
- 31:21we are through Jesus Christ is to obey the word you and i must determine once
- 31:28again in our hearts to stand up in the light of the word to be willing to leave
- 31:35everything in the past behind us and without looking back,
- 31:41to say yes to the word of god once upon a dot a time we dared to say yes to
- 31:47that word when we We heard that it was Christ in us, the hope of glory.
- 31:51And for the first time when we heard that and believed it and understood it,
- 31:57our lives acquired profound meaning and direction.
- 32:02And through the days and the months that have passed by since then,
- 32:06maybe a few of you only a few days or a few months, others of us a few years,
- 32:11we have learned to say yes to more and more of that word of God and to walk
- 32:17in that tender fellowship with him and to see results because of it.
- 32:26When we do not obey this word of God, this call of love, when we do not make
- 32:32that spiritual leap of believing that the whole senses world says is crazy,
- 32:39then we are saying simply that we do not believe the word.
- 32:44When we know and understand this, how can our lives be anything but a yes?
- 32:52Amen. Amen, Heavenly Father, for the great light of your word that you've given
- 32:57us to live, to walk in, to enjoy.
- 33:01Father, for this sweet tenderness of fellowship, how you lift us up when we
- 33:07faint in our minds, how you guide us, how you love us, how you bless us, how you strengthen us.
- 33:14We thank you tonight and thank you for the wonderful day and week ahead of us.
- 33:19Thank you father for teaching us for
- 33:22guiding us for loving us and for calling
- 33:25us before the foundations of the world to be
- 33:28your sons and to shine as lights in the world that others may know that god
- 33:34is love for this great word father in this great calling in this great life
- 33:40we thank you through jesus christ our lord amen.
- 33:46Music.
