- 0:01The decisive spiritual experiences and individual has
- 0:06stay with him throughout his life, those who are anchored in
- 0:10their external lives, undergo countless experiences.
- 0:15But these tend to fade become jumbled, were simply blend into
- 0:20one, another, who can after all, remember what they ate for
- 0:24breakfast, 10 days ago, much less, 25 years ago.
- 0:30We remember high points in our lives, whether they are external
- 0:34events such as a wedding day, were the death of a loved one,
- 0:39or the birth of a child. Spiritual experiences are
- 0:43remembered as they like the external events, we tend to
- 0:47remember our high points in our awareness.
- 0:52This happens naturally without any prompting.
- 0:56In some cases these experiences come upon one suddenly
- 1:00unannounced on asked for and yet we remember them this
- 1:06illustrates the importance of the experiences.
- 1:11The imprint of the spiritual experience on the psyche of the
- 1:14individual is indelible and we frequently observed that an
- 1:19individual who has had such an experience tries to repeat and
- 1:23prolong the experience whenever possible.
- 1:27These experiences are important because they disclosed a deeper
- 1:32hidden truth of existence and speak to our true in ourselves.
- 1:39The soul, the psychic being they lead the individual beyond the
- 1:45domination of the body, the life force, and the mind.
- 1:50And open up the Realms of the Soul and Spirit, which is the
- 1:54origin, and source of the central will in the beam, this
- 1:59leads eventually to the aspiration and seeking for a
- 2:02constant experience of these deeper truths of existence.
- 2:08It is a known fact that memory is encapsulated and can be
- 2:13released through re-creation of the site.
- 2:16The sound, the sent the environment, the mental and
- 2:20emotional state, during which it was experienced.
- 2:24The triggering effect of these things, can either reopen the
- 2:28relation to the source of the experience.
- 2:31Or at the very least, put the body in a receptive state that
- 2:35takes on the qualities of the experience.
- 2:39This is a secret behind visiting shrines or sacred Groves or
- 2:43temples behind the burning of incense behind practices of
- 2:48visualization or chanting of mantras behind sitting for
- 2:52meditation in a space. That is dedicated to the
- 2:55practice and doing so, at the same time, on a consistent
- 3:00basis, assuming one is not doing this by rote or by some
- 3:05mechanical process. But focusing, the energy with
- 3:09awareness when is putting oneself into a frame of
- 3:13reference that is related to the experience.
- 3:16When is seeking to reproduce or extend a devotee asks how can
- 3:23one become aware of the central will?
- 3:27A mother responds. First of all, one must become
- 3:31aware of what is highest most true, most universal and eternal
- 3:35in one's Consciousness. This is learned gradually when
- 3:40learned to discern among ones ordinary, external movements and
- 3:45the different gradations of the movements of one's inner
- 3:48Consciousness. And if one continues to do this
- 3:51with a certain persistence, when realize what it is, that puts
- 3:56this high as part of Ones being into motion which represents the
- 4:00ideal of the being there is no other way.
- 4:05Sometimes this awakens through reading something, sometimes
- 4:09through a conversation, sometimes through a more or less
- 4:13dramatic that is unexpected event, which gives you a shock
- 4:18shakes. You up, brings you out of your
- 4:20usual little run. Sometimes when you are in very
- 4:24great danger, suddenly you feel as though you are above yourself
- 4:29and beyond your small habitual weakness, having within you
- 4:33something higher, which can hold out against circumstances.
- 4:39Such occasions make you enter first into contact with that
- 4:43afterwards by a methodical discipline.
- 4:47You can make the contact continuous.
- 4:50But usually this takes time. But first you get it like that
- 4:56suddenly for one reason or another long silence.
- 5:03This may come with a very strong emotion with a very great
- 5:07sorrow, a very great enthusiasm. When one is called to perform a
- 5:12fairly exceptional action in circumstances which are a little
- 5:16exceptional, all of us that one feels something as though
- 5:21breaking or opening within him and one feels as though, he were
- 5:25dominating himself as though, he had climbed up a higher rung.
- 5:30And from there was looking at his own existence with the
- 5:33habitual senses. Once one has experienced, this
- 5:38one does not forget, even if only once it has happened, when
- 5:43does not forget it and one can buy concentration, reproduced
- 5:48the state at will later. This is the first step to
- 5:53cultivate it. Afterwards.
- 5:56One can very easily call up the state.
- 5:59Each time a decision is to be taken and then one takes it in
- 6:04full awareness of the implications and for seeing
- 6:07everything that's going to happen.
- 6:10I don't think there's one individual in the world who
- 6:13hasn't experienced it. In any case, one cultured
- 6:16individual at least once in his life, something that breaks and
- 6:22opens and one understands And quote, reference SRI aurobindo
