- 0:05Speaker 1: You're so annoying.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What this is your fight song? Because we're fighting.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I can't stand you.
- 0:13Speaker 3: If you're unaware our angie made a bet with Bank
- 0:19Speaker 3: de Glitten or the super Bowl, and she owes me
- 0:22Speaker 3: three dollars.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Yes, I have not seen I haven't even.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Heard of these three dollars being sent my way here.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Twelve quarters, all right, three ones, A couple buttons on
- 0:35Speaker 3: a Venmo push.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You're so annoying. Oh, I hate you. I know, I
- 0:40Speaker 1: know that it.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Is only three dollars, yeah, and so I should just
- 0:43Speaker 2: send it. But also it's just three dollars, So why
- 0:47Speaker 2: are you so pressed right now? I don't carry cash
- 0:51Speaker 2: on me. You said twelve quarter. I don't have quarters,
- 0:55Speaker 2: and I don't have dollars on me, and I know
- 0:57Speaker 2: that I could venmo you.
- 0:59Speaker 1: However, the card that's hooked up to.
- 1:02Speaker 2: My Venmo is not the card that I actually use,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and so I would have to switch out the card
- 1:08Speaker 2: and that sounds annoying and I haven't felt like doing it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: And I thought, well, it's only three dollars, so I'm
- 1:14Speaker 2: sure he could wait.
- 1:16Speaker 3: What in perpetuity now? Because you never have ones and
- 1:20Speaker 3: you won't set up your Venmo card. So what does
- 1:22Speaker 3: that just get you out of giving me my three bucks?
- 1:26Speaker 1: I will give you, Gabe, you are the worst. I
- 1:29Speaker 1: will give you the three dollars. I'm just saying it's
- 1:32Speaker 1: not that big a deal.
- 1:33Speaker 2: And I'm annoyed that you thought, you know what, it
- 1:36Speaker 2: is my fight song and I'm gonna bring this up
- 1:39Speaker 2: on air.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You're roiled.
- 1:42Speaker 4: I don't like you well, you know what, Angie.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I mean, we're kind of like siblings here on Big
- 1:46Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven. You know, I look at you
- 1:48Speaker 3: as as somewhat older sister. I guess I got to
- 1:51Speaker 3: throw older in there well, because you're definitely not younger.
- 1:57Speaker 5: What's so round?
- 1:59Speaker 3: And not only now that I think about it. We
- 2:02Speaker 3: were at West Acres Mall on Saturday.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Were we not?
- 2:05Speaker 3: If you remember, we were doing some walking and talking
- 2:08Speaker 3: and interviewing, and we also did some shopping. I think
- 2:11Speaker 3: there's a fifteen dollars bottle of hot saw.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You owe me eighteen dollars. You know what, Cab, You're
- 2:17Speaker 1: making me look real bad.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna find some way somehow to win two more
- 2:21Speaker 3: dollars off of you, so you can't have the excuse
- 2:24Speaker 3: of I never you know what.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I'm just I'm gonna have Mikey picks me up from work.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna have him bring you a twenty dollars bill
- 2:31Speaker 2: so you can shut your mouth forever.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I was so annoyed.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Well, Angie, were supposed to fight about dumb things like this.
- 2:37Speaker 4: That's what siblings do.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I know you're like the little brother.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I never want it, that's right. Seven oh one two
- 2:44Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven. What is the dumbest
- 2:47Speaker 3: thing that you have ever fought with your siblings over?
- 2:50Speaker 4: And you know what?
- 2:50Speaker 3: Brian actually puts it? Puts it perfectly. This happens a lot,
- 2:54Speaker 3: I would think with siblings. He said, the fight was
- 2:56Speaker 3: so dumb. When we got done arguing, we couldn't remember
- 2:59Speaker 3: what we were arguing about.
- 3:00Speaker 4: That's how dumb. It was. So true.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I wish Gabe would forget why he stay with me.
- 3:06Speaker 3: It is kind of strange. I would be in that
- 3:09Speaker 3: category of world's worst memory. Yeah, but when it comes
- 3:12Speaker 3: to Angie owed me three bucks, I will be taking
- 3:15Speaker 3: this with me everywhere I go in perpetuity until that
- 3:18Speaker 3: three dollars is.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Slapped right in my palm. All right.
- 3:23Speaker 3: We also had someone here who texted us what they
- 3:27Speaker 3: got in an argument about.
- 3:28Speaker 4: And I think it was her siblings. Yes, this was Leah.
- 3:30Speaker 3: She said, My sister stole a curly fry from my
- 3:34Speaker 3: brother at a restaurant.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Classic brother sister fight. Once. I thought he was gonna
- 3:39Speaker 4: kick her in the kidney. It was terrible.
- 3:41Speaker 3: He was very sensitive about his potatoes, especially curly fries.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I understand this as a carb ho.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I live for potato and I don't want anyone to
- 3:50Speaker 2: take my fries.
- 3:51Speaker 4: All right, well, what about NICKI? And I like what
- 3:54Speaker 4: Nicky did here? Okay?
- 3:55Speaker 3: She put it all on the line on Big ninety
- 3:56Speaker 3: eight point seven's Facebook page. Nicky said scrabble words and
- 4:01Speaker 3: then went on, I believe these are at least her
- 4:05Speaker 3: siblings or family members. She went on to tag Sherry, Missy,
- 4:09Speaker 3: and Ryan on our Facebook page.
- 4:12Speaker 1: All out travel words is real?
- 4:15Speaker 5: Were fighting one yeah, celebrating life's little victories every morning.
- 4:24Speaker 5: We practice gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven. If
- 4:27Speaker 5: I could, I would keep this feeling in a basket
- 4:30Speaker 5: job busted out when it was someone's acting hard. Share
- 4:33Speaker 5: your little victories with us at seven oh one two
- 4:36Speaker 5: and OHO one ninety eight seven.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 4:41Speaker 3: We love when you share your little victories with us,
- 4:43Speaker 3: kind of like Margaret. Margaret said when she got home
- 4:46Speaker 3: she had come to a kitchen of empty, clean dishes.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Oh nice that her children did before she got home
- 4:53Speaker 3: from work.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So way to go, My gosh, those kids deserve metals.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Way to go, Margaret, Way to go kids as well.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Angie and I really believe in starting off the day
- 5:04Speaker 3: on a positive note. Anything to put you in a
- 5:08Speaker 3: good mood or put you in a better mood, anything
- 5:10Speaker 3: to celebrate. We love hearing about it here on Big
- 5:13Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven. We start the day with some gratitude. Angie,
- 5:16Speaker 3: what is your little victory today?
- 5:19Speaker 2: I had mentioned the other week that Mikey, my dear
- 5:23Speaker 2: sweet boyfriend, committed a crime against our relationship, which was
- 5:29Speaker 2: the fact that he started watching a Night of the
- 5:31Speaker 2: Seven Kingdoms without me, even though Game of Thrones shows
- 5:36Speaker 2: are our thing.
- 5:37Speaker 1: We're supposed to watch those together.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So I've been bitter about it and Matt and he
- 5:42Speaker 2: keeps saying, Okay, but I need you to catch up
- 5:44Speaker 2: because I want us to watch together, and I kept refusing.
- 5:47Speaker 2: But also you're protesting, yes, But also I was doing
- 5:51Speaker 2: myself a disservice because I want to watch it. So finally,
- 5:54Speaker 2: yesterday I started watching a Night.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Of the Seven Kingdoms. I think there are four episodes, now.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I am one behind because I didn't
- 6:04Speaker 3: watch the one the day of the Super Bowl.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Okay, so that would be episode four. Yeah, yeah, all right,
- 6:10Speaker 2: so I have only a few more to catch up.
- 6:13Speaker 2: We're gonna watch the fourth episode together, Mikey and I.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So I just have to catch up on two more episodes.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But I'm glad that I started. Yeah, I feel good
- 6:21Speaker 2: about it.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Not gonna lie.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I feel like it started out a little slow and
- 6:25Speaker 2: it was hard for me to want to.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Get into it.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Oh, the second episode, I don't think is very great,
- 6:29Speaker 3: to be honest.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Oh great.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I gotta get through the second episode.
- 6:32Speaker 2: But everyone's telling me that the third episode wonderful.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, now up there.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm almost there.
- 6:39Speaker 2: But I'm glad that I finally started. So that's my
- 6:41Speaker 2: little victory. What about you, Gabe.
- 6:43Speaker 3: My little victory is Corey and I. For whatever reason,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I don't know why, I was so on the on
- 6:50Speaker 3: the ball this year with it, but we got our
- 6:52Speaker 3: taxes back off.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's great. Yeah, am I over gonna start.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I saw that this morning. I was like, wait, what
- 6:59Speaker 3: oh taxes? For whatever reason, I was just we both, like,
- 7:03Speaker 3: you know, got all the things we needed to around
- 7:05Speaker 3: the same time, and I was like, well, let's just
- 7:07Speaker 3: do this, Like we got all this stuff.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I don't honest, I don't want.
- 7:11Speaker 3: To sit and wait when it gets even busier and
- 7:14Speaker 3: you know, it takes even longer. So we kind of
- 7:16Speaker 3: were on the on the money for it and put
- 7:18Speaker 3: intended on the money for taxes and we got our
- 7:21Speaker 3: some of our refund back.
- 7:23Speaker 1: That's amazing, you know what.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Not to hijack this, But my tax situation is a
- 7:27Speaker 2: little bit complicated.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Uh.
- 7:29Speaker 2: If anyone has a tax professional, yeah, who deals with
- 7:34Speaker 2: complicated tax things. And it's not gonna cost me an
- 7:37Speaker 2: arm and a leg because already I know it's gonna
- 7:39Speaker 2: be bad. Can you let me know seven oh one,
- 7:42Speaker 2: two eight oh one nine eight seven.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You girl needs some help. Yeah, we're taxes please.
- 7:47Speaker 3: And the good news for you, though, is you started
- 7:49Speaker 3: in March last year, right, You're coming up on one year,
- 7:51Speaker 3: so a vast majority of those are while you were
- 7:55Speaker 3: working here in Fargo. So yeah, like two months of
- 7:59Speaker 3: kind of comp located stuff as a when I moved here,
- 8:03Speaker 3: I started in November. I had ten months of a
- 8:05Speaker 3: completely different state two months of here. Okay, it might
- 8:10Speaker 3: not be nearly as bad as you necessarily think.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I just am not good with any of that stuff.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So I'm taking all suggestions for local tax professionals to
- 8:19Speaker 2: help me out, Angie.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Valentine's Day is coming up in four days. I love
- 8:29Speaker 3: Valentine's Day. I still have not asked my wife to
- 8:31Speaker 3: be my Valentine, but I will very soon. I have
- 8:33Speaker 3: to get together. Yeah, I have a plan here. And
- 8:36Speaker 3: so I was wondering, Angie, I need you to play
- 8:39Speaker 3: the role of the woman.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Okay, my default, I will play the human woman.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I need you to speak for all women here this morning.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I have some questions for you that I want to know.
- 8:53Speaker 3: If a guy were to do this for Valentine's Day,
- 8:56Speaker 3: is this a red.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Flag or is he just like a cheap Okay, that's
- 9:02Speaker 2: a red flag.
- 9:03Speaker 3: So both not great, But red flag is more like, oh,
- 9:08Speaker 3: this might not work out.
- 9:09Speaker 4: The other one's like, okay, he just he didn't. Maybe
- 9:12Speaker 4: he's he didn't.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Want to spend a ton of money on this Okay, Like,
- 9:16Speaker 3: for example, let's say for Valentine's Day, Mikey were to
- 9:21Speaker 3: get you chocolate, but it's leftover Halloween candy that he
- 9:24Speaker 3: forgot about.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Red flag, red flo red flag.
- 9:27Speaker 4: That's egregious, is it? Because the Halloween candy is still around?
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a problem. That's a problem.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I'm mad, especially because I'm someone who's really big on
- 9:37Speaker 2: expiry dates. So okay, I know that chocolate ain't good anymore.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Okay, all right? What about a handwritten love note?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Love it? Yes, love it? In fact, that's all I've
- 9:48Speaker 1: got done.
- 9:50Speaker 3: A handwritten love note on the back of a utility bill.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Man, I love it?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Oh man, Well, he pays a utility bill first, because
- 10:02Speaker 2: then then that might not be the worst Okay, so
- 10:07Speaker 2: sure the bill's paid.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah, the bills paid. I don't mind that.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Okay, that's what.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That's not a red flag. It's cheap, but it's not
- 10:13Speaker 2: a red flag had written.
- 10:16Speaker 4: I love that.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I love that at the back of you you do bill?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Wanh wanh want?
- 10:21Speaker 3: I have a couple more for you, Angie. Are these
- 10:22Speaker 3: red flags or are they just being cheap? And let
- 10:26Speaker 3: us know what you think. At seven oh one two
- 10:28Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven for any of these
- 10:30Speaker 3: that I give you. Okay, Angie, what about Movie Night?
- 10:34Speaker 3: But you have to rent the movie on your account? Bruh,
- 10:40Speaker 3: it's a red flag or just cheap?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I think that's cheap.
- 10:48Speaker 4: So not quite a red flag?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Not quite a red flag. Did he decide what the
- 10:51Speaker 2: movie was gonna be? Did he set up all of
- 10:53Speaker 2: movie Night with like blankets and pillows? And the only
- 10:56Speaker 2: thing that is the bad part is that it's my
- 10:59Speaker 2: account that logged in.
- 11:01Speaker 1: All righty, but yeah, that's fine. Okay, that's cheap, but
- 11:04Speaker 1: it's not a red flag?
- 11:06Speaker 3: All right, Angie? What if on Valentine's Day your significant
- 11:09Speaker 3: other said, I do have your gift, but it's still shipping.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Oh no, that's fine, not too bad.
- 11:16Speaker 2: No, as long as there's a receipt, I just it.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 11:22Speaker 2: As long as it was ordered. I need to see
- 11:24Speaker 2: that an order was placed. Otherwise, you know you lying?
- 11:27Speaker 4: All right?
- 11:27Speaker 3: I got two more for you. These ones are great.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Is this a red flag or just cheap? Regifting the
- 11:33Speaker 3: same candle that you got last year?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Red flag?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Would you even remember red Yes? I remember everything. I
- 11:39Speaker 2: have the memory and the body of an elephant. Okay,
- 11:43Speaker 2: I would remember. That's a red flag. Absolutely not.
- 11:47Speaker 3: If Corey got me the same Valentine's Day gift as
- 11:50Speaker 3: the last four years, I don't think I would know.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, that's the difference between men and women.
- 11:55Speaker 4: All right, Andrew, My last one for you.
- 11:57Speaker 3: What if on Valentine's Day your significant others said, let's
- 12:01Speaker 3: celebrate next weekend when the prices drop.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Is that that's a red flag.
- 12:09Speaker 1: That's a red flag.
- 12:10Speaker 4: That one wouldn't do it for you?
- 12:11Speaker 1: No, okay, come up with some other you know what.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Sometimes lie okay, sometimes lying is okay, come up with
- 12:19Speaker 2: a different reason to do it next week.
- 12:21Speaker 3: And Angie, here's where I pulled the rug from underneath you. Okay,
- 12:24Speaker 3: every single one of these I have done.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Yeah, done. Oh my gosh.
- 12:34Speaker 3: There is this viral video of this poor guy who
- 12:38Speaker 3: is trying to do something very sweet and one of
- 12:41Speaker 3: the most important things he will do in his life.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And I thought about playing the audio for you.
- 12:45Speaker 3: The problem is, I don't know if at six point
- 12:48Speaker 3: fifty two you want to hear a man vomit profusely.
- 12:52Speaker 4: There is a job.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy on this viral TikTok who was proposing
- 12:58Speaker 3: to his girlfriend, and when it was all said and done,
- 13:02Speaker 3: this man was so nervous, had so many emotions going on,
- 13:06Speaker 3: he sadly had to move over to these bushes next
- 13:09Speaker 3: to this park where he proposed and throw up.
- 13:12Speaker 1: This is so funny in a weird way.
- 13:14Speaker 4: It's super sad but super cute and super nice.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's hard to explain because it stinks.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Literally.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Yeah, at least this girl knows that it meant the
- 13:25Speaker 4: moment mental hell.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but you have to give so much context, like yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 2: you can't just be like, yeah, he.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Proposed and then threw up, right, right?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Have you ever been so nervous for something that, sadly
- 13:40Speaker 3: you ended up vomiting?
- 13:41Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eighty seven.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Maybe you didn't vomit, but maybe you were just what's
- 13:47Speaker 3: the most nervous you've ever been for anything?
- 13:49Speaker 4: What about you? Angie? Oh gosh.
- 13:51Speaker 2: The thing that I think of is back in seventh grade,
- 13:54Speaker 2: I had a boyfriend named Diego Munyos and he was agageous.
- 13:59Speaker 4: And seventh grade gorgeous.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, seventh grade.
- 14:04Speaker 2: But I had never like really kissed before, and so
- 14:09Speaker 2: it was this, Oh, we're gonna have our first kiss
- 14:12Speaker 2: after school, and of course it's middle school, so we're
- 14:15Speaker 2: traveled that Oh after school, Angie and Diego.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Are going to kiss for the first time.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I was so nervous and right before that, I was
- 14:24Speaker 2: like nervous about.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't know how to French kiss and what is
- 14:28Speaker 1: my breath?
- 14:29Speaker 4: Like?
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know?
- 14:29Speaker 3: So I good news for you. I'm thirty five and
- 14:32Speaker 3: still don't know how to kiss.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I took I took a handful of gummy
- 14:37Speaker 2: bears and just like housed them, essentially hoping that I
- 14:43Speaker 2: don't know, that would help in some way.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And we get out to the front of the school.
- 14:48Speaker 1: There's literally like a crowd around us. What in the
- 14:52Speaker 1: high school? Rom come is this? And he went to
- 14:56Speaker 1: lean into kiss me, and I said, I just had
- 14:59Speaker 1: gummy bears. I don't know how my breath is.
- 15:03Speaker 4: How did he respond that had stopped him?
- 15:05Speaker 2: He hesitated for a moment and had a confused face,
- 15:09Speaker 2: but then he went in for the kiss. And let
- 15:12Speaker 2: me tell you, that was probably the worst thing that
- 15:15Speaker 2: ever happened.
- 15:17Speaker 1: No idea what I was doing or was bad. I
- 15:21Speaker 1: was very nervous.
- 15:22Speaker 4: What about you, Charlie. The most nervous you've ever been.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I had to give a speech at my sister's wedding,
- 15:27Speaker 3: and I was wedding it the whole day.
- 15:29Speaker 5: The mistake I made was that I ate.
- 15:31Speaker 6: A lot before the speech.
- 15:33Speaker 2: They called me up to give a speech, and everyone
- 15:35Speaker 2: had to wait because I was in the bathroom throwing up.
- 15:39Speaker 3: See, Charlie, you did it wrong. What you're supposed to
- 15:40Speaker 3: do is drink a lot. Yeah, do do that, Dove,
- 15:43Speaker 3: do that either, Emma, what about you? It was a
- 15:46Speaker 3: high school churns solo.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I thought I was going to pass down.
- 15:49Speaker 3: And I ran backstage and just pussed into a trash can.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I wiped my mouth and then I went out and
- 15:55Speaker 3: absolutely nailed it.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Trauma and character development.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yeah, singing in front of people when you're young and
- 16:01Speaker 3: you don't know, maybe you're not like super great, or
- 16:03Speaker 3: even if you're really great, singing in front of people
- 16:05Speaker 3: when you're in middle school can be a nightmare.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Or were you in choir?
- 16:10Speaker 4: I was. I was in all district choir.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Since I knew that, and I just wanted to say,
- 16:16Speaker 2: because I know you're so.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Proud of that, well, I was only in fifth grade.
- 16:21Speaker 3: But going back to Charlie, that I agree the mom
- 16:24Speaker 3: and I don't get nervous necessarily talking in front of
- 16:27Speaker 3: people much anymore. I have done it so many times
- 16:30Speaker 3: and looked like such an idiot so many times in
- 16:34Speaker 3: front of people that it's like, oh, that's the worst
- 16:35Speaker 3: that could happen, right, And it's really not that big
- 16:37Speaker 3: a deal, but talking. I had to give a best
- 16:40Speaker 3: man speech at my buddy Sam's wedding, and when you're
- 16:43Speaker 3: giving a wedding speech, it's so different because it's not
- 16:47Speaker 3: about you at all.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I am you must have hated that.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I am perfectly fine making myself the butt of
- 16:54Speaker 3: the joke or looking bad or looking.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Stupid or right. But these people are going.
- 16:58Speaker 3: To remember this for ever, and you don't want to
- 17:01Speaker 3: be the one who it's like, oh my god, this
- 17:03Speaker 3: guy talk way too long, or like this guy wasn't
- 17:05Speaker 3: funny or whatever, you know. And it ended up being
- 17:08Speaker 3: a really good speech. I did a great job and
- 17:10Speaker 3: a lot of people were like, oh, you were the best.
- 17:12Speaker 3: So I was terrified. So I know how that feels.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And the key you don't want to drink too.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Much, but maybe like two or three.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Two or three, And sadly in the glitten House there
- 17:28Speaker 3: is one less glitten cat running around. Corey and I
- 17:33Speaker 3: sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved Tricksy yesterday,
- 17:37Speaker 3: who was a the everyone's cat is the best, right
- 17:42Speaker 3: you know, everyone says I have the best dog and
- 17:43Speaker 3: the best cat, right. Well, our cat Tricksy was also
- 17:47Speaker 3: the best. I just want her added to that group.
- 17:50Speaker 3: And she was the crabbiest, most annoyed cat ever, who.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Frankly really didn't like much.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Okay, she didn't really doesn't really like her siblings, she
- 18:00Speaker 3: really doesn't. She didn't care for the dog all that much.
- 18:03Speaker 3: She was just kind of an old lady who was
- 18:05Speaker 3: setting her ways. But Corey had had her forever, I
- 18:09Speaker 3: mean since she was fourteen years old. She was one
- 18:12Speaker 3: of yeah, Cory's family and my wife is now thirty one,
- 18:16Speaker 3: and so she did long, yeah, for a long, long
- 18:20Speaker 3: long time. And yesterday when we got home, we basically
- 18:24Speaker 3: just sat with tricks for a handful of hours and
- 18:27Speaker 3: gave her all of her favorite things, you know, Trixy.
- 18:29Speaker 3: One of her favorite things would be if you were
- 18:31Speaker 3: eating ice cream, whether it was from a bowl or
- 18:33Speaker 3: a cone, as she would try to get like a
- 18:35Speaker 3: little nibble in a little lick, so she got an
- 18:38Speaker 3: ice cream cone, some cat treats with some cat nip,
- 18:41Speaker 3: and it was just a very sad day. You know,
- 18:44Speaker 3: we loved Tricksy to death, but it was just her time.
- 18:47Speaker 3: You know, she's just sadly getting old and it wasn't
- 18:51Speaker 3: moving around as well. And it was just a very
- 18:54Speaker 3: heartbreaking day yesterday at the Glittons. And we have always
- 18:57Speaker 3: had such a chaotic house with these pets, and sadly
- 19:01Speaker 3: it's a little less chaotic now with Trixy being gone,
- 19:05Speaker 3: and we're going to miss her a ton.
- 19:07Speaker 2: That is. That's like the hardest thing about having a pet,
- 19:11Speaker 2: because nine times out of ten you outlive her.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Yeah, your pet.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Oh, that's like your heart walking around outside your body.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And then you have to say goodbye.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so sorry, and I'm so sorry to Corey.
- 19:22Speaker 2: My condolence is. Can I ask a question though, just
- 19:26Speaker 2: because I don't know? So then what happens? Does someone
- 19:30Speaker 2: come to your home?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yeah, there's definitely different ways you can do it. I
- 19:34Speaker 3: know when we said goodbye to our family dog, they
- 19:37Speaker 3: had someone go to my parents' house. Solola could be
- 19:39Speaker 3: in the backyard for us. We brought Tricksy in and
- 19:43Speaker 3: you know, we got to be with her the whole time,
- 19:45Speaker 3: and you know, shed some tears and say our final goodbyes.
- 19:48Speaker 4: And it was just a really really sad, sad moment.
- 19:52Speaker 3: She's just kind of been a pillar a rock in
- 19:55Speaker 3: the Glinton house because she has been there for so long,
- 19:57Speaker 3: for Corey for really long, and then for me, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 3: eleven years or however long it's been. And so she
- 20:03Speaker 3: was the first cat that made me a cat dead,
- 20:06Speaker 3: you know.
- 20:07Speaker 5: I was.
- 20:07Speaker 4: I was a sweet yeah, I was.
- 20:10Speaker 3: We had a family dog, but my first I guess,
- 20:12Speaker 3: you know, kind of pet that I had to take
- 20:15Speaker 3: care of without the help of my parents was Tricksy,
- 20:18Speaker 3: you know. And she was just honestly the crabbiest thing ever.
- 20:24Speaker 3: She loved Corey and I and that was kind of it,
- 20:28Speaker 3: you know. And it was so so weird because we
- 20:30Speaker 3: had she had like a taj mahal house that she
- 20:33Speaker 3: could go into to just get away from all the
- 20:35Speaker 3: other her siblings, that's all our other pets. And every
- 20:40Speaker 3: night she would kind of get down from there and
- 20:43Speaker 3: make some noise, so we would get her, and she
- 20:46Speaker 3: was kind of our cuddle buddy at night. She would
- 20:48Speaker 3: sleep between Corey and I right at our heads all
- 20:51Speaker 3: the time and then at like two thirty in the morning,
- 20:53Speaker 3: get annoyed at some cat walking around and go back
- 20:56Speaker 3: to her her house or whatever. And yeah, it was
- 20:59Speaker 3: kind of we we you know, we say goodbye to
- 21:02Speaker 3: Tricksy and we get back and Corey and I kind
- 21:03Speaker 3: of talked about it, and we wanted to just get
- 21:05Speaker 3: rid of, not get rid of, but get rid of
- 21:07Speaker 3: her stuff essentially, so our room doesn't have this trixy
- 21:12Speaker 3: house in it anymore. And so this room looks a
- 21:14Speaker 3: little bit bigger, but it doesn't feel bigger, yeah, because
- 21:18Speaker 3: we don't have.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Tricks And yeah, it was just the strangest thing.
- 21:22Speaker 3: We're driving to the vet, you know, to say goodbye
- 21:25Speaker 3: to Trixie, and it was just very sad and emotional,
- 21:27Speaker 3: and every time I'd hit a red light, I was
- 21:29Speaker 3: a little bit happy. It's like, oh, we get a
- 21:31Speaker 3: couple extra seconds with tricks And it's something you don't
- 21:34Speaker 3: even think about as you're you're driving to say goodbye
- 21:37Speaker 3: to this thing you love and you just hit these
- 21:40Speaker 3: red lights and there's a tiny part of you that's
- 21:42Speaker 3: like thrilled. You're like, oh, I have another you know,
- 21:45Speaker 3: twenty five thirty seconds with this really really crappy cat
- 21:51Speaker 3: whom we loved to death, and I know she loved
- 21:54Speaker 3: us and Corey gave her a wonderful life. I hope
- 21:56Speaker 3: I got to be a little bit of part of
- 21:57Speaker 3: that for Trixy. But it is a little less chaotic
- 22:00Speaker 3: in the Glitten House this morning. And uh, we're just
- 22:03Speaker 3: very sad to see her go. We're heartbroken, but we
- 22:06Speaker 3: know that now she got to go to you know,
- 22:09Speaker 3: cat Heaven or across the Rainbow Bridge as they say. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 3: hopefully she got to say hi to uh, you know,
- 22:14Speaker 3: my dog Lola. She did meet our family dog. Hopefully
- 22:19Speaker 3: she got to say hi to corey'spa and Corey's older
- 22:23Speaker 3: sister who is sadly no longer around. So we know
- 22:26Speaker 3: there was quite the the welcoming party for when she
- 22:29Speaker 3: got there. And she does not have to wake up
- 22:32Speaker 3: and feel you know, like garbage anymore. So yeah, very
- 22:35Speaker 3: all right, Yeah, very very sad, but we're kind of
- 22:39Speaker 3: relieved in a way. You know, she doesn't have to
- 22:42Speaker 3: feel terrible. She couldn't like jump on the bed anymore,
- 22:45Speaker 3: and it just wasn't, you know, going too well for her.
- 22:47Speaker 1: So we thank you for sharing that with us. Gabe.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I know that that's a lot, but we try to share,
- 22:53Speaker 2: you know, our lives on here, the good, the bad,
- 22:55Speaker 2: the ugly. So thank you for being vulnerable with us.
- 22:59Speaker 2: That a comment about the red light.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't even you don't even think about it,
- 23:05Speaker 3: you know. And then all of a sudden you hit
- 23:06Speaker 3: a couple of red lights and your heart picks up
- 23:08Speaker 3: a tiny bit because you're like, oh, yeah, I get.
- 23:10Speaker 4: More time with you. Yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And it was just it was quite an emotional day
- 23:14Speaker 3: at the Glinton House for someone we've had, and Corey
- 23:17Speaker 3: has had, especially for a very long time. So I
- 23:20Speaker 3: will miss strictly to death, and I just hope she
- 23:23Speaker 3: feels a lot better and has all the catnip and
- 23:25Speaker 3: all the ice cream cones that she could ever eat.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I will dedicate the rest of this show today to
- 23:30Speaker 3: my sweet Gray, crabby, wonderful, wonderful friend in the Glenden House.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven, It's gave an Angie,
- 23:43Speaker 3: good morning, we got sunshine and thirty two today.
- 23:46Speaker 5: This is am I the problem, it's.
- 23:51Speaker 4: The problem, It's me.
- 23:53Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 23:55Speaker 5: help decide if it's right, or if maybe you or
- 24:00Speaker 5: the problem. I'm hardly the problem. On Big ninety eight
- 24:03Speaker 5: point seven?
- 24:04Speaker 4: Did you know it is illegal? What?
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry? Like, this is not? Am I the problem?
- 24:14Speaker 4: Oh?
- 24:17Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, let me get this right. Hold on,
- 24:21Speaker 3: Angie flu some time here for a second.
- 24:24Speaker 1: This is great.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It's a problem that something is potentially not legal.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Sorry, I was texting my wife about our cat. I'm sorry.
- 24:33Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray areas, one morning
- 24:35Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 24:38Speaker 4: We both know you're guilty.
- 24:39Speaker 1: He's guilty.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Is it legal?
- 24:41Speaker 3: You're guilty of the worst crime of all.
- 24:44Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven, the worst part that
- 24:49Speaker 5: never clocked.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah, we even thought of it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I know you're a little distracted and lost here lost
- 24:55Speaker 2: your cat?
- 24:56Speaker 4: That's a lot. I'm good here, Okay, now we have
- 24:59Speaker 4: a reset here.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Did you know it is illegal to sleep in a
- 25:03Speaker 3: storage unit around the Fargo area, which is honestly devastating
- 25:08Speaker 3: news for anyone whose dream home includes zero windows, no bathroom,
- 25:12Speaker 3: and a strong aroma of mystery couch from nineteen ninety seven.
- 25:17Speaker 4: I think about it.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Okay, you finally find a place with affordable rent, climate controlled,
- 25:23Speaker 3: secure access. Your neighbor is just a box labeled Christmas
- 25:27Speaker 3: decord don't open. But apparently the city decided, Hey, maybe
- 25:32Speaker 3: people shouldn't live inside a metal rectangle next to someone's
- 25:35Speaker 3: old treadmill. Official say storage units aren't designed for residential living,
- 25:40Speaker 3: which explains why Zillow has never once listed one as
- 25:44Speaker 3: cozy industrial microloft. I imagine trying to host guests. Welcome
- 25:50Speaker 3: to my place. Kitchen is aisle four, bedroom is behind
- 25:53Speaker 3: the Halloween tots and if you hit the kayak, you've
- 25:56Speaker 3: gone too far.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That all right, so great?
- 25:58Speaker 3: So remember this storage units are for your stuff, not
- 26:02Speaker 3: for you, because nothing ruins your morning quite like getting
- 26:05Speaker 3: evicted from a ten by ten with a guy named
- 26:08Speaker 3: Gary holding boat cutters. Okay, I was shocked by this.
- 26:12Speaker 3: If you own a storage unit, is it like it's yours?
- 26:15Speaker 4: Right? I just be What if I.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Need it for one night?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Like what if I'm moving all this stuff into storage
- 26:21Speaker 2: and it gets late and I just want to Oh man,
- 26:25Speaker 2: I don't want to drive home.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Make it an uber back home? Yeah?
- 26:28Speaker 2: What if I just want to crash out on the
- 26:30Speaker 2: sofa From nineteen forty seven, I inherited from my great
- 26:33Speaker 2: grandmother and I can't.
- 26:35Speaker 3: And one of the reasons I look this up is,
- 26:38Speaker 3: you know, we have some warm weather this week, right,
- 26:40Speaker 3: There're gonna be snow melting. It's like, well, what if
- 26:42Speaker 3: that causes some kind of flooding or something. This probably
- 26:45Speaker 3: isn't enough snow to really do that, but you know,
- 26:49Speaker 3: if you had to in a pinch, can you do this? Supposedly? No, Now,
- 26:53Speaker 3: if you do it for one night, are you really
- 26:54Speaker 3: gonna get cut? Probably not, but we do not encourage that.
- 26:57Speaker 4: That's right, and this is a perfect time.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Also, mind that Angie and I are not lawyers, and
- 27:01Speaker 3: you should call them for legal advice. Yes, if there
- 27:03Speaker 3: is ever, and is it legal that you would like
- 27:06Speaker 3: me to look up and put my own little you know,
- 27:08Speaker 3: comedic spin on it? Let me know seven oh one
- 27:11Speaker 3: two eight zero one, nine eighty seven. Have you ever
- 27:13Speaker 3: been with your hubby or your wife or your kids
- 27:15Speaker 3: and you're riding in the car and you're like, oh,
- 27:16Speaker 3: I wonder if what that person's doing is legal or not?
- 27:19Speaker 4: I know who to text? Gabe at Big ninety eight
- 27:21Speaker 4: point seven.
- 27:22Speaker 2: That's why I'm so glad that I work with you,
- 27:23Speaker 2: because I've had several questions where you're like, oh, just
- 27:26Speaker 2: look it up for you, Angie.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Valentine's Day's coming up on February fourteenth. That's four days
- 27:38Speaker 3: away here, Angie. And if you have a Valentine, we
- 27:41Speaker 3: hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. If you don't
- 27:43Speaker 3: have a Valentine, we also hope you have a wonderful
- 27:45Speaker 3: Valentine's Day. Yeah, how about you send your mom some flowers?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Huh yeah, tell her you love her.
- 27:50Speaker 3: When's the last time you did that? Probably Mother's Day's
- 27:53Speaker 3: probably right now, Angie. There are some individuals. While we
- 27:57Speaker 3: are a big fan of love here on ninety eight
- 28:00Speaker 3: point seven you now, we want you to express and
- 28:02Speaker 3: share your love with as many people as possible, there
- 28:05Speaker 3: are some people, sadly out there who are maybe not
- 28:09Speaker 3: the best to give love advice or relationship advice.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Oh yeah, for example.
- 28:16Speaker 3: And this is I don't mean to offend anybody if
- 28:18Speaker 3: you are in this category. Okay, this just might not
- 28:22Speaker 3: be for you. Okay, you know what I'm saying. You're
- 28:24Speaker 3: not gonna ask me the best way to do a
- 28:26Speaker 3: makeup tutorial that I don't know any You know what
- 28:29Speaker 3: I'm saying, absolutely not, So I'll be honest. If you've
- 28:32Speaker 3: been married six seven times like j Lo, like someone
- 28:35Speaker 3: said here on Facebook, probably don't want to ask j
- 28:38Speaker 3: Lo for relationship advice. Yeah, that was Tandy, Tandy, that
- 28:43Speaker 3: is correct. I don't think I would.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I would ask j Lo how do I make my
- 28:48Speaker 2: body look that amazing?
- 28:49Speaker 4: Exactly?
- 28:50Speaker 1: But I wouldn't ask her how to keep a man?
- 28:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 28:52Speaker 4: All right, Angie. You know here's another thing you might.
- 28:55Speaker 3: If you're a dude and you have a buddy who
- 28:57Speaker 3: sadly is currently sleeping on the couch things aren't doing great,
- 29:00Speaker 3: you probably don't want to ask the guy sleeping on
- 29:02Speaker 3: the couch for love advice at that moment in time.
- 29:05Speaker 4: That doesn't mean that can't change.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Another one, someone whose longest relationship is with Netflix. You
- 29:12Speaker 3: probably don't need love advice from them.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Now.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I will say they're pretty good at commitment.
- 29:16Speaker 3: That's true, at least that at least with that, Yeah right.
- 29:20Speaker 3: What about a guy who his mom still does his laundry.
- 29:23Speaker 3: You might not want to ask relationship advice from that fella.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Oh man, my exes mom did his laundry until he
- 29:30Speaker 2: was until we meet out.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Until he moved out, and then Finally, I love this
- 29:34Speaker 3: one from Brian. You probably don't want to ask relationship
- 29:38Speaker 3: advice from wrestler Rick Flair, the guy who has supposedly
- 29:42Speaker 3: slept with like thousands of women.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well yeah, maybe lusty advice, but not love advice.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Now there's been a there's going to be a very
- 29:56Speaker 3: big change for the Bison football team. As I'm sure
- 29:59Speaker 3: you're well away by now, North Dakota State has agreed
- 30:02Speaker 3: to join the Mountain West Conference beginning in twenty twenty six,
- 30:07Speaker 3: a jump up to the FBS level that could reshape
- 30:11Speaker 3: the regional sports and travel. And I had looked up, Hey,
- 30:15Speaker 3: what teams are in the Mountain West? Who are the
- 30:17Speaker 3: Buys gonna be playing? Okay, they'll play the Air Force
- 30:20Speaker 3: Falcons Hawaii. They're gonna end up playing Yeah, Nevada Wolfpack. Angie,
- 30:25Speaker 3: Oh that's not me.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I was at UNLV. That's Reno, that's.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Reno, New Mexico, Lobos, Northern Illinois, San Jose, UNLV Rebels.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Oh there we go.
- 30:35Speaker 3: There you go, U tamously trash by the way, UTEP
- 30:40Speaker 3: and Wyoming and all of these teams once again in
- 30:44Speaker 3: the FBS. And the reason we asked this question for
- 30:47Speaker 3: you here on Big ninety eight point seven. How do
- 30:49Speaker 3: you feel about the team making the jump up to
- 30:53Speaker 3: the FBS. There's a couple of reasons why we ask
- 30:56Speaker 3: how you feel this morning? All right, So obviously his Shtorically,
- 31:00Speaker 3: the Bison have dominated, Yeah, at the FCS level, I mean,
- 31:04Speaker 3: the best FCS college football team to ever exist, Yes, basically,
- 31:10Speaker 3: And with the jump up to the FBS, I'm wondering, hey,
- 31:14Speaker 3: are you really really excited? You know, potentially tougher competition,
- 31:18Speaker 3: more eyeballs, bigger schools they have to play against. Are
- 31:22Speaker 3: you going to be cool if the Bison maybe lose
- 31:25Speaker 3: a couple more games than you're used to this year?
- 31:27Speaker 1: Oh? I didn't think about that.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Yeah, are you going to be cool?
- 31:32Speaker 3: Which something maybe people don't always think about, but usually
- 31:36Speaker 3: you know, bigger football also potentially means bigger ticket prices.
- 31:41Speaker 3: It might cost a little bit more to go to
- 31:43Speaker 3: those games. So we just wanted to open up the
- 31:46Speaker 3: show this morning to you, Hey, are you excited about
- 31:49Speaker 3: the potential or of excuse me, are you excited about
- 31:53Speaker 3: the potential of the team jumping to the FBS.
- 31:55Speaker 4: What are you most excited for?
- 31:56Speaker 3: What are maybe not the most excited for We do
- 31:59Speaker 3: have this question up on Facebook.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I will say this, if they play against UNLV, you know,
- 32:07Speaker 2: the NDSU fans will show up hard in Vegas.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Like if they have to. They're playing at un V.
- 32:13Speaker 2: At Thomas and Mack against UNLV, like that would be
- 32:17Speaker 2: a sight to see, just a sea of green and
- 32:20Speaker 2: yellow because DSU NDSU Bison fans are way more hardcore
- 32:26Speaker 2: and dedicated than you and LV football fans, I know
- 32:30Speaker 2: from press experience.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Because they're not the best team.
- 32:36Speaker 2: You l me as a basketball school, okay, and I
- 32:40Speaker 2: know that that can change with every season, but I
- 32:43Speaker 2: think especially because flights from Hector, there's so many NonStop
- 32:47Speaker 2: flights to Vegas, that alone, for me would be worth it.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I would head back to Vegas to see that the
- 32:54Speaker 2: Bison play, and I would definitely be rocking Bison colors.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Like sorry, yeah, I totally agree. And Andrey and I
- 33:02Speaker 3: are kind of the new bees to the NDSU Bison,
- 33:05Speaker 3: and so we wanted to ask this question to you,
- 33:07Speaker 3: who potentially have been a tea cheering for the team
- 33:09Speaker 3: for a lot fan for forever.
- 33:11Speaker 4: And there are a lot of.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Interesting comments on Facebook. A lot of people excited Anthony,
- 33:16Speaker 3: he said, way overdue. Now they will have some real opponents,
- 33:20Speaker 3: and he kind of does have a point. You know,
- 33:23Speaker 3: I wonder sometimes for Bison fans if I don't want
- 33:26Speaker 3: to say takes it for granted, but it is, you
- 33:30Speaker 3: can start to kind of take it for granted when
- 33:32Speaker 3: they're beating teams by twenty five thirty forty points every
- 33:37Speaker 3: single Yeah, and Micah said it is time with a
- 33:42Speaker 3: gift from the Lion King, which I love. Gary said
- 33:45Speaker 3: bus trips to Hawaii should be epic, which is hilarious.
- 33:50Speaker 3: We also had we also had Micah or Yeah. Micah
- 33:54Speaker 3: added in now we just need to bring s d
- 33:58Speaker 3: SU with us them along.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Exactly. Now.
- 34:03Speaker 3: There was someone who did say no more championships, which
- 34:08Speaker 3: was from Brent, which isn't necessarily true. I mean, they
- 34:11Speaker 3: could win the Mountain West and could you know, go
- 34:14Speaker 3: on to Big Bowl games, but to play for the
- 34:18Speaker 3: FBS Division One Championship, I mean in essentially the Bison
- 34:22Speaker 3: would have to go through like Ohio State every year,
- 34:25Speaker 3: Texas or Texas A and M or whoever, these massive
- 34:29Speaker 3: schools that you see play in the championship every single year.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I bet they rise to the occasion, though.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I bet maybe on some level they're like, we really
- 34:39Speaker 2: want this because also we want to prove we're not
- 34:41Speaker 2: just good for where we are, right right?
- 34:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you hope.
- 34:44Speaker 3: So it could It could be so exciting if you know,
- 34:48Speaker 3: it might take a couple of years or whatever, but
- 34:50Speaker 3: for the Bison to potentially, you know, play even in
- 34:53Speaker 3: the college football playoff would be massive. The school would
- 34:56Speaker 3: make a jillion dollars. I mean, it would be so fun.
- 35:00Speaker 3: But we just wanted to hear from you. How do
- 35:02Speaker 3: you feel about this really big move for the football team?
- 35:05Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Share your thoughts with us today.
- 35:12Speaker 5: I starting off the day with something good. This is
- 35:18Speaker 5: Gabe's good news. On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 35:23Speaker 3: The Fargo Air Museum hosted a Veterans Story Preservation Day,
- 35:30Speaker 3: inviting veterans to share their experiences, with many of them
- 35:33Speaker 3: tied to aviation. Maxwell Sabin, the curator at the Fargo
- 35:38Speaker 3: Air Museum, ahead this to say about the event and
- 35:40Speaker 3: why it was important to have it.
- 35:42Speaker 6: When the last of the Korean and Vietnam veterans are gone. Uh,
- 35:46Speaker 6: interviews like this are gonna be the only way that
- 35:47Speaker 6: we have these stories available to us, so being able
- 35:51Speaker 6: to capture them now and you know, while they're still
- 35:53Speaker 6: somewhat fresh in the minds of the veterans, is still
- 35:57Speaker 6: really important to us.
- 35:58Speaker 3: The interviews will be posted on YouTube tube to help
- 36:00Speaker 3: preserve these stories for future generations, and the museum encourages
- 36:04Speaker 3: others to connect them with veterans who wants to participate.
- 36:07Speaker 4: And I love seeing a story like this.
- 36:09Speaker 3: My father was a Vietnam veter is a Vietnam veteran,
- 36:13Speaker 3: and I have a really, really good friend. I still
- 36:15Speaker 3: talk to him on a daily basis or you know,
- 36:17Speaker 3: weekly basis, what have you.
- 36:19Speaker 4: He lives in Utah.
- 36:20Speaker 3: His name is Nick, and he was in the Air
- 36:22Speaker 3: Force and he built jet engine so he worked on planes.
- 36:27Speaker 3: And so when you hear a story like this or
- 36:28Speaker 3: read about a story like this, it's just an awesome
- 36:31Speaker 3: reminder and it's cool to learn a little bit of
- 36:33Speaker 3: history and remember how important it is.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it is super important to document history.
- 36:39Speaker 1: That's you know. They say that you can't really.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Go into the future being productive without understanding your history.
- 36:46Speaker 2: So having all these stories is super important, especially from veterans.
- 36:50Speaker 3: That's right. The world is full of nice people. If
- 36:52Speaker 3: you can't find one, you gotta be one.
