- 0:05Speaker 1: through the Alabama Show.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We're about to go stick it to the man, and
- 0:17Speaker 2: you're gonna help. I need your help.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Okay, explain, for two days.
- 0:21Speaker 2: In a row, there is a white Mercedes in our
- 0:24Speaker 2: parking lot that is taking up two parking spaces right
- 0:28Speaker 2: up front. Yes, correct, and we all everybody in the
- 0:31Speaker 2: building thinks that that person is a jerk. I've gone around,
- 0:34Speaker 2: I've asked all of our other on air talent if
- 0:37Speaker 2: it's them.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Yeah, they said no.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Mackenzie, the girl who happens to live around here, she said,
- 0:43Speaker 2: I know who owns the Mercedes.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I said who? She said, it's our maintenance guy.
- 0:49Speaker 3: The maintenance guy, not the one that we like. No.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're gonna I'm gonna go park right now
- 0:57Speaker 2: in the parking spot up front, one of the spots
- 1:00Speaker 2: that he's taking up half of, and we're going to
- 1:02Speaker 2: block that door in and you're gonna help. I need
- 1:04Speaker 2: you to come make sure I don't accidentally hit the car.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I need your help.
- 1:08Speaker 4: I'm frustrated. That's so rude.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It is very rude. Is that the best way to
- 1:14Speaker 3: handle the situation.
- 1:15Speaker 4: We're doing well. You heard you heard Spencer next door.
- 1:19Speaker 4: He walked over.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He said, let's get some traffic cones and put around
- 1:21Speaker 2: the car. So, no, I'm blocking them in, not blocking them,
- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm just gonna make it harder for them to get
- 1:26Speaker 2: in their door.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I'm proving a point.
- 1:29Speaker 3: What's your point?
- 1:30Speaker 4: My point is don't take up two spaces.
- 1:32Speaker 2: They literally parked with the line in between the middle
- 1:35Speaker 2: of the car just to do that.
- 1:36Speaker 4: So we're gonna go do it all right anyway, We'll
- 1:40Speaker 4: let you know how that goes. But good morning, thanks
- 1:42Speaker 4: for being here. We'll be right back.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 1:46Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 1:48Speaker 2: On the Alabama show, a food delivery robot got caught
- 1:53Speaker 2: in the middle of a swat situation?
- 1:57Speaker 3: How does that even happen?
- 1:59Speaker 2: So at DoorDash food delivery robot had a delivery in
- 2:02Speaker 2: Arizona last week and it was right in the middle
- 2:04Speaker 2: of like a swat situation going on, and so all
- 2:08Speaker 2: of the officers started yelling at the robot.
- 2:11Speaker 4: It's called dot the robot.
- 2:12Speaker 2: They were like, get out, get out, go away, and
- 2:15Speaker 2: the robot was ignoring it because it had a delivery
- 2:18Speaker 2: to make.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Of course, the.
- 2:19Speaker 2: SWAT team literally had to call door Dash and a
- 2:22Speaker 2: door Dash technician had to show up to the scene
- 2:25Speaker 2: of the crime and disable the robot and get.
- 2:28Speaker 4: It out of the whole area.
- 2:30Speaker 3: That is a rough situation for door Dash.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Super Easy Trivia with the Yellabama Show producer Blake.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Come on down. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.

- 2:55Speaker 4: Here's question number one. Okay, what do pandas eat?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Ma'am?
- 3:01Speaker 4: Good job? Yes, what are the five senses?
- 3:07Speaker 3: Site here?
- 3:09Speaker 4: Taste, feel.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Tay okay, taste, smell smell you got it? Okay?
- 3:17Speaker 4: And touches the other one.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yes, i'd feel then that's five.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Dang me, I'm trying my button messed up?
- 3:26Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Okay, last one for the win. Yes, what city is
- 3:34Speaker 2: known as the Big Apple?
- 3:36Speaker 3: That'd be New York maybe, good job?
- 3:39Speaker 4: Yes, congratulations.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I don't want to say I've been training my whole
- 3:52Speaker 3: life for this, but I have.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Called the chef.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You want to win these tickets to five seconds this summer.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Eight three three five O one BAMA is the number.
- 3:59Speaker 4: That's eight thirty thirty five oh one two two sixty two.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know here with the
- 4:05Speaker 1: Elemma Shaw.
- 4:06Speaker 2: The Legacy Arena is turning fifty and they're doing a
- 4:10Speaker 2: free community event to celebrate. This will be July eleventh,
- 4:14Speaker 2: starting at three pm. There's going to be free food, trucks, games, giveaways, tours,
- 4:18Speaker 2: live screen printing, and a ton of fun stuff.
- 4:21Speaker 4: So at three you get to go for the fun.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And then at seven o'clock the Black Jacket Symphony is
- 4:25Speaker 2: going to perform celebrating fifty years of the Legacy Arena
- 4:30Speaker 2: at BJCC. So if you want to go, July eleventh
- 4:33Speaker 2: is the day for that. Amazon's Prime Day is here,
- 4:36Speaker 2: which means porch pirate, So be aware that Prime Day
- 4:40Speaker 2: has started today and it's going to run through the
- 4:42Speaker 2: twenty sixth. Amazon says groceries and household items are a
- 4:46Speaker 2: big focus for savings. I just looked there's an Apple watch,
- 4:50Speaker 2: an espresso coffee and espresso maker. Amazon Echo dots Dison vacuum.
- 4:55Speaker 2: There's a ton of stuff on cell today, so go enjoy. Also,
- 4:58Speaker 2: Target and Walmart are run competing sales, so we all benefit.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Go buy some stuff for the next couple of days.
- 5:05Speaker 2: You'll get a better deal on it. Savannah Guthrie allegedly
- 5:09Speaker 2: got a message in February that her mother was already deceased.
- 5:13Speaker 3: How did she get that message, I don't understand.
- 5:15Speaker 4: So there's a new report that just came out.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Where her alleged abductor apologized for Savannah Guthrie's mother's death
- 5:22Speaker 2: and offered to return her body for money. So on
- 5:25Speaker 2: February first, they got a ransom note from that same
- 5:28Speaker 2: IP address asking for four million dollars in Bitcoin for
- 5:31Speaker 2: her safe return.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Remember that that was the whole thing.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Authority sent one hundred and fifty two million in Bitcoin,
- 5:39Speaker 2: hoping that the person would retrieve it and that would
- 5:41Speaker 2: have made that person traceable. They never touched it. So
- 5:45Speaker 2: the note that apologized for her mother's decease or passing
- 5:50Speaker 2: or death came February sixth.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So February first, they said she was still alive.
- 5:54Speaker 2: February sixth they said she had passed away. And I
- 5:57Speaker 2: guess the family never said anything publicly about that.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Now it's coming.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Out, so we don't But we still don't know because
- 6:04Speaker 2: that person never retrieved the money and so they don't
- 6:06Speaker 2: know if that's actually the actual abductor or not.
- 6:10Speaker 4: This case is crazy.
- 6:11Speaker 3: This is a very crazy case.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yes, I feel sorry for Savannah because she has had
- 6:16Speaker 2: no closure and they still don't know, and it is
- 6:21Speaker 2: it's very sad. So we were thinking about Savannah Guthrie
- 6:24Speaker 2: and her family. That's three things you need to know
- 6:26Speaker 2: more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 6:32Speaker 4: What the heck is a dookie demon?
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's one of the children from camp.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with
- 6:41Speaker 2: producer Blake if you missed it. Producer Blake went to
- 6:44Speaker 2: be a camp counselor last week for a bunch of
- 6:48Speaker 2: church kids.
- 6:48Speaker 3: That's correct, Yes I did.
- 6:51Speaker 4: And what happened.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So there were two cabins, one where the girls were staying,
- 6:56Speaker 3: one where the boys were staying. The girl's cabin. We
- 6:59Speaker 3: had the food hall and we have to get ready
- 7:02Speaker 3: for food haul in the afternoons and all the other
- 7:04Speaker 3: kids have gotten ready, and I was like you know what.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I need to go change these kids. It ranged from
- 7:09Speaker 3: like eleven all the way to eighteen, like okay, eighteen,
- 7:13Speaker 3: and so I'm like, you know, I need you to
- 7:15Speaker 3: get changed and make sure there's no stragglers up in
- 7:17Speaker 3: the boy's cabin.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:20Speaker 3: So I go to the boy's cabin and I'm like, okay,
- 7:23Speaker 3: there's only one kid up here. Whatever, I'm gonna go change.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to the bathroom and change. I go
- 7:28Speaker 3: to the bathroom and our toilet is packed.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Only like one. It's not stalls, it's like my toilet.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and there's like one bathroom.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Towels were in it.
- 7:41Speaker 3: No, but like the the water was all the way
- 7:47Speaker 3: up like coming out of the toilet. And I go,
- 7:51Speaker 3: there's no other kids in here, And then no one's
- 7:54Speaker 3: been up here for at least an hour except for
- 7:56Speaker 3: this kid. So I go in there and go, hey, Bud,
- 7:59Speaker 3: you okay, yeah, why do you ask? I said? I said,
- 8:06Speaker 3: did you happen to go to the bathroom past few minutes?
- 8:08Speaker 3: He goes, maybe, he goes, who's asking? I said me
- 8:17Speaker 3: I had to change and the bathroom was flooded, and
- 8:20Speaker 3: he goes, I don't know what happened in there? I go,
- 8:23Speaker 3: what did you do?
- 8:24Speaker 2: So?
- 8:25Speaker 4: Did you have to No, we couldn't.
- 8:27Speaker 3: The toilet was so broken that we had to call maintenance,
- 8:30Speaker 3: and maintenance I had to come to it, and they said,
- 8:36Speaker 3: we can't handle this right now, so they closed that
- 8:39Speaker 3: toilet down for commission.
- 8:40Speaker 4: So where did you use the bathroom for the rest
- 8:42Speaker 4: of the time?
- 8:43Speaker 3: And we had to go to other boys bathrooms because
- 8:45Speaker 3: we could, And this bathroom had two peoples. The smell.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Did the smell stay?
- 8:51Speaker 3: They couldn't do anything about it.
- 8:54Speaker 4: When you sleeping? Oh my god, it filled up two rooms.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Smelled like a litter box, didn't I you.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Have because of Dookie demon in there?
- 9:03Speaker 4: Call the show.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I know there's parents listening that have stories of their
- 9:07Speaker 2: kids that do stuff like this. My little cousin's a
- 9:10Speaker 2: second grade teacher.
- 9:11Speaker 4: This is appen star on the rag. Eight three three
- 9:15Speaker 4: five O one BAMA is the number.
- 9:17Speaker 2: That's eight three three five oh one two two six two.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama show on man, what
- 9:24Speaker 1: is the wildest thing your kid has ever done?
- 9:26Speaker 4: In public?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Eight three three five O one BAMA is the number
- 9:29Speaker 2: to call the show. Because producer Blake got to deal
- 9:31Speaker 2: with some kids last week while he was a camp
- 9:34Speaker 2: counselor for all of his church kids. That is correct
- 9:38Speaker 2: his Keltsey, good morning. What's something your kid does?
- 9:42Speaker 4: I have a two and a half year old right now, okay.
- 9:45Speaker 5: And he likes to go up the strangers when it's
- 9:48Speaker 5: just me and him.
- 9:49Speaker 4: I know, welcome dead in the face.
- 9:52Speaker 5: And he's like, I want my daddy.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Sar ad I do like it.
- 9:59Speaker 2: It's that's pretty good, Kelsey. Where are you calling from?
- 10:02Speaker 1: I am calling from Silicaga, Alabama.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Also, what's going on in Silicaga this morning?
- 10:08Speaker 5: It looks pretty dead right now. I'm heading to work.
- 10:10Speaker 4: That's great. Where do you work? What do you do?
- 10:13Speaker 1: I work in the lab at Russell Medical Center in
- 10:16Speaker 1: Elix City.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Well, thank you for what you do. We appreciate you,
- 10:21Speaker 2: and thank you for listening to the show. We really
- 10:23Speaker 2: appreciate you for listening to the show and calling in.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 10:29Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 10:31Speaker 1: On the Alabama show.
- 10:34Speaker 2: A camper got rescued after falling into a toilet while
- 10:37Speaker 2: trying to get their sunglasses. Why a visitor at Camp
- 10:43Speaker 2: Edison in California, Sierra and Nevada Foothills required emergency rescue
- 10:47Speaker 2: this weekend after falling into a vault toilet while trying
- 10:50Speaker 2: to retrieve the sunglasses they've dropped in the toilet. The
- 10:53Speaker 2: Fresno County Sheriff's Office reported the man tumbled into the
- 10:56Speaker 2: chemical storage tank at the popular campground. Emergency cruise had
- 11:01Speaker 2: to do a confined space rescue operation.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Oh my god, did you that would.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Be the worst place to be.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They had to hose down the man after his removal
- 11:12Speaker 2: from the toilet.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Facility.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Officials confirmed he sustained no injuries from the incident, not
- 11:18Speaker 2: physical anyway, at least probably some mental.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 11:21Speaker 2: The Sheriff's office did not specify whether he successfully recovered
- 11:25Speaker 2: his sunglasses or not.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Why it's three things you need to know with the element.
- 11:32Speaker 2: There's a protest going on in Huntsville right now for the.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Euse in Asia of the geese.
- 11:38Speaker 2: There's hundreds of geese living at Heritage Plantation and they're
- 11:41Speaker 2: set to be euthanized at the end.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Of the month.
- 11:43Speaker 2: The neighborhood HOA board said that they've been working to
- 11:46Speaker 2: control the population for decades and this has become a
- 11:49Speaker 2: last resort. People are so upset they're standing on the
- 11:52Speaker 2: street corner. You have probably seen this on the news
- 11:55Speaker 2: all over the place, and a ton of protesters keep
- 11:58Speaker 2: showing up in the signs say like a compassion over convenience,
- 12:03Speaker 2: Save the geese. And it's starting to go viral on
- 12:05Speaker 2: TikTok too. So if you see the story save the
- 12:07Speaker 2: Geese that is coming out of Huntsville, Alabama. As we
- 12:12Speaker 2: as this evolves, we'll keep you updated. The Summer of

- 12:41Speaker 2: eight hours. The song called I Knew It, I Knew
- 12:45Speaker 2: You has already broken several streaming records. She shared a
- 12:48Speaker 2: new video online saying she wrote, recorded and produced this
- 12:50Speaker 2: song and finished it in eight hours after watching the
- 12:55Speaker 2: Toy Story five screening. She said the screening gave her
- 12:59Speaker 2: songwriter zoom and inspiredor to write the song the same day.
- 13:02Speaker 3: That's pretty impressive. Honestly, it's pretty good.

- 13:36Speaker 2: Oh heck, yeah, well that is awesome. Are you calling

- 13:50Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Well about two weeks ago, we finally went through with
- 13:55Speaker 5: the embryo transfer and I have finally found out that
- 13:59Speaker 5: I am pregnant. I'm so excited and I'm so happy
- 14:08Speaker 5: for them and I am just couldn't be happier to
- 14:11Speaker 5: be on this journey with them.
- 14:12Speaker 4: That is so awesome.
- 14:13Speaker 2: So you are the surrogate and you are going to
- 14:15Speaker 2: be carrying the baby for a couple.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Did you know the couple before this or did you
- 14:20Speaker 4: meet them through? I did? Okay, how did you know them?
- 14:23Speaker 5: Well, I'm sorry, I knew them before the transfer. I
- 14:26Speaker 5: met them in August. I was matched with them through
- 14:29Speaker 5: our agency, okay, okay, and we just kind of got
- 14:32Speaker 5: to know each other, gone through the contracts and all
- 14:36Speaker 5: the tivious parts of the whole thing. And we finally
- 14:40Speaker 5: did the transfer on June twelfth, and I tested positive
- 14:43Speaker 5: for pregnancy this morning.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Oh that fast girl. That is amazing.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Also, I could tear up talking to you about this
- 14:52Speaker 2: because I see a lot of couples struggle with getting
- 14:55Speaker 2: pregnant and how emotionally.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Hard it is for them.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And you are super woman for what you were doing
- 15:04Speaker 2: because I know, like your body is going to be
- 15:06Speaker 2: going through so many changes and it is just it
- 15:10Speaker 2: is a really awesome thing that you were doing and
- 15:12Speaker 2: I'm so proud of you.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I'm so happy to be doing it for them. I
- 15:17Speaker 5: can't imagine what it's like not being able to create
- 15:19Speaker 5: your own family. So that was the whole part of
- 15:22Speaker 5: it for me, was being able to give that to someone.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Oh, I love you so much. Right now, I gotta
- 15:26Speaker 4: hear you. Now, you gotta call.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Now, you gotta call and update us throughout the pregnancy
- 15:32Speaker 2: and when the baby's born and all the things that
- 15:36Speaker 2: is the girl.
- 15:37Speaker 4: You are awesome. You are so awesome.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Thank you for calling and sharing that story, because I
- 15:42Speaker 2: think that your story is going to help other people
- 15:45Speaker 2: listening to the show, and so you are awesome for
- 15:48Speaker 2: being vulnerable and talking about what you're doing.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, so many things possible as long as
- 15:52Speaker 5: you believe in it and just put your faith in
- 15:55Speaker 5: yourself and the people around you, and you can do anything.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We were listening to the Alabama Show on Man.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Producer Blake is the weirdest person in this room.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I don't know if that's the case. I don't know
- 16:07Speaker 3: if that's the case.
- 16:08Speaker 2: By the way, thanks for listening to the Alabama Show.

- 16:27Speaker 3: I said, I used to like dipping my chips and
- 16:30Speaker 3: my doctor pepper with Amazican restaurants. It was so good.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Tortilla chips.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Who started that? Did you just do that on your own?
- 16:38Speaker 3: Correct? I was like, I wonder what this tasteline? I went,
