Lucas: Absolutely. We've covered a lot of ingredients — lemongrass, tofu, cucumber, jackfruit, durian, banana, shrimp, chicken, ginger, turmeric... so let's grab some cabbage today. Luna: Cabbage! In Malay, that's kubis, right? Lucas: Exactly. Kubis. Repeat after me: kubis. Luna: Kubis. Lucas: Good. So at the market, you'd say: Saya mahu kubis. I want cabbage. Luna: Saya mahu kubis. Lucas: Perfect. Try it slowly: Sa-ya ma-hu ku-bis. Luna: Saya mahu kubis. Lucas: There you go. Now, the seller will ask how much you want. So you can ask the price: Berapa harga sekilo? How much per kilo? Luna: Berapa harga sekilo? Lucas: Yes. Berapa harga sekilo? Luna: Berapa harga sekilo? Lucas: Great. And if you want to check if it's fresh, you can say: Kubis ini segar? Is this cabbage fresh? Luna: Kubis ini segar? Lucas: Exactly. Segar means fresh. So: Kubis ini segar? Luna: Kubis ini segar? Yeah, I can ask that. Lucas: Then you decide how much. Let's say half a kilo: Saya mahu setengah kilo. Luna: Saya mahu setengah kilo. Setengah is half, right? Lucas: Yes. Setengah kilo. And if you want it cut, add: Boleh potong? Can you cut it? Luna: Boleh potong? Lucas: Perfect. So let's put it all together. Imagine you're at a stall. You say: Saya mahu kubis. Luna: Saya mahu kubis. Lucas: Seller: Berapa harga sekilo? You ask: Kubis ini segar? Luna: Kubis ini segar? Lucas: Seller says yes. Then you say: Saya mahu setengah kilo. Boleh potong? Luna: Saya mahu setengah kilo. Boleh potong? Lucas: Perfect!
