- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Katie's gonna be talking about happiness. I feel like this
- 0:06Speaker 2: kind of goes along with your story, Katie. They were
- 0:09Speaker 2: talking about reducing stress in this story, and they say,
- 0:13Speaker 2: if you really really want to reduce all your stress,
- 0:16Speaker 2: what you should be doing is going out into the
- 0:18Speaker 2: forest and sitting in a chair alone and listen to
- 0:24Speaker 2: all the birds. Yeah. They say, just ten minutes of
- 0:27Speaker 2: sitting in a forest listening to birds will ease so
- 0:32Speaker 2: much stress. They say it's an incredibly low cost way
- 0:37Speaker 2: to improve your mental health.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I mean people been doing this for centuries. Absolutely, this
- 0:41Speaker 1: is just connecting with nature and you know, ignoring all
- 0:45Speaker 1: of the stresses.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Is that life absolutely rings? You know.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I noticed this when we were out up in Montana
- 0:51Speaker 2: and Idaho and Yellowstone on our vacation. There were times
- 0:55Speaker 2: when we were out in little areas where it was
- 0:57Speaker 2: just like listen, yeah, and it was quiet, you just
- 1:00Speaker 2: heard the birds. I was like, isn't this fantastic? Yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 2: it's such like an old person, But it was also like,
- 1:07Speaker 2: this is really nice. You're reconnecting with the earth. There's
- 1:10Speaker 2: no traffic.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well, I think even young people can agree that when
- 1:14Speaker 1: you disconnect yourself from everything the world's offering right now
- 1:17Speaker 1: digital AI people stress like if you live in a city,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know, there's so much going on all the time.
- 1:23Speaker 1: If you can just eliminate that and go be with
- 1:26Speaker 1: your thoughts and nature and the birds.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Like back to the roots of the earth.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Even young people can agree that that lowers my stress
- 1:33Speaker 1: just thinking about Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I started whistling back to them and they started, it's
- 1:41Speaker 2: very Disney. They started to dress me.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They made your dress. I know exactly.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's how it all works in the world of happiness.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It's funny you mentioned that because I agree with this
- 1:53Speaker 1: first one. They say when you have experiences over material things,
- 1:58Speaker 1: that definitely makes you Now. Experts looked at things here
- 2:03Speaker 1: when it came to you know, genuinely content people and
- 2:08Speaker 1: researchers have identified five specific things that kind of separate
- 2:12Speaker 1: content people from everyone else and experiences over things.
- 2:16Speaker 3: That's one of them.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I can relate to this because when I go hiking
- 2:20Speaker 1: and I post all my stuff on social media, the
- 2:23Speaker 1: richest people on my feet are like, oh my gosh,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I can't believe you go and do that. You know,
- 2:27Speaker 1: because they say when you have an experience that lasts
- 2:30Speaker 1: with you so much longer than if you buy something
- 2:34Speaker 1: that feeling it gives you when you buy something right, like,
- 2:37Speaker 1: you get excited at first, but then that goes away.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But the experience is something that will last you for
- 2:42Speaker 1: a really long time.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Something that I've explained that to my kids, Because experiences
- 2:47Speaker 2: and things like that make you a much more well
- 2:50Speaker 2: rounded person. Is Yeah, you're able to carry on conversations
- 2:53Speaker 2: about things and like if people bring up random things
- 2:57Speaker 2: like the lady who just called about the Wisconsin Dells, Yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 2: I've been there, done that, let's talk about it. And
- 3:02Speaker 2: I can't tell it makes you more of a well
- 3:04Speaker 2: rounded person.
- 3:04Speaker 1: How many people reach out to me about waterfalls, like Deainly,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I get people send me videos places I can see waterfalls.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not kidding.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Daily people send me stuff because they know how much
- 3:16Speaker 1: I like to do it, how much happiness it brings me.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Prioritizing relationships. This one's interesting because.
- 3:22Speaker 1: They got a group of elderly people together and they
- 3:24Speaker 1: ask them, looking back on your life, what's something that
- 3:27Speaker 1: you wish you paid more attention to?
- 3:29Speaker 3: And that's what they said. They're like, you know, life
- 3:31Speaker 3: throws at you so.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Many things, good and bad, and what helps you get
- 3:36Speaker 1: through it are the people in your life. But you
- 3:38Speaker 1: know it works on the flip side there too. They're
- 3:41Speaker 1: saying that that's such a good point because they're saying
- 3:43Speaker 1: the bad people are just as bad for you. So
- 3:46Speaker 1: the toxic relationships getting those out of that's part of
- 3:51Speaker 1: it as well.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I'm at that stage. I am at that stage where
- 3:54Speaker 2: I've removed people that really just do nothing for me.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I know that sounds that phrase bad, but it's like
- 4:00Speaker 2: they do nothing for me. I don't need to be
- 4:02Speaker 2: around them. You need to think that I met them away.
- 4:04Speaker 1: What serves you like it's okay to say that, you know,
- 4:08Speaker 1: it's okay, yeah, right, okay.
- 4:11Speaker 2: This is another note though, I want all new people.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Do you I have talked to my wife about this
- 4:17Speaker 2: numerous times over the past year. I want new people.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I just want new people in my life group. How
- 4:24Speaker 2: do you find it? I need new people and I
- 4:26Speaker 2: think we need to move out of state. I want
- 4:28Speaker 2: to start fresh and I just want new people, all
- 4:31Speaker 2: new people, top to bottom.
- 4:34Speaker 3: There's a statement I know that I.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Know I can't be alone in that. I'm just by
- 4:40Speaker 2: entire bubble everybody. Not my family, I love you, Mom
- 4:42Speaker 2: and ed not my family, but like just my bubble
- 4:46Speaker 2: of everybody. I want you all new people.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I have moved to different locations multiple times in my life,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and there's something to be said for starting over, starting
- 4:57Speaker 1: from scratch, keeping the relationships that mean something to you.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But it's okay to you know, move on to another
- 5:03Speaker 1: point in your life and get some you know.
- 5:06Speaker 2: All new people.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't hate on that. I can't hate on that.
- 5:10Speaker 1: All new drama from New All new drama. Speaking of drama,
- 5:14Speaker 1: this one, I couldn't believe it. So they say a
- 5:16Speaker 1: high salary is.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Not the ultimate goal.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And in fact, so this study was done about sixteen
- 5:21Speaker 1: years ago. So the perfect salary, the window for the
- 5:24Speaker 1: perfect salary, they said sixteen years ago was seventy to
- 5:28Speaker 1: ninety thousand dollars a year.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So what would it be now, That's what I was thinking, Like.
- 5:33Speaker 3: One to one thirty is probably where it falls.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And they say it's because once you get over that,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you really consume.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yourself with your job.
- 5:41Speaker 1: People who make that much money all they do is work,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and that takes away your happiness. So they're saying if
- 5:47Speaker 1: you know, truly happy people. Again, happiness is not just money, Jeremy,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I don't know about that one, and no, I one
- 5:53Speaker 1: hundred percent agree. Really, if you're spending, if you spend
- 5:56Speaker 1: sixteen hours a day, that's not healthy.
- 5:59Speaker 3: That's how you make in one hundred thousand dollars.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Not necessary I disagree with. But not necessary.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So they say high paying jobs are all consuming.
- 6:06Speaker 3: It really does, and I would agree with this. I
- 6:08Speaker 3: agree that there's valuing time over money is very important.
- 6:12Speaker 2: There's a different logic behind that. They say, the more
- 6:14Speaker 2: money that you make, you actually earn your time back
- 6:18Speaker 2: because you're able to hire an accountant, a house cleaner,
- 6:22Speaker 2: somebody to do your lawn.
- 6:24Speaker 4: You.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's true. Who's mister wonderful what's his name? Oh
- 6:29Speaker 2: N talks about this a lot. The more money you make,
- 6:32Speaker 2: you actually are able to buy your time buy. You
- 6:36Speaker 2: are buying your time back because you have people to
- 6:38Speaker 2: do things, the mundane things for you, essentially, and you
- 6:42Speaker 2: gain that time back.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna listen to Biggie and you'reney.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Your money starts making money as well. Yeah, you make okay,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:54Speaker 3: That you too.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Both think this because you value money a lot more
- 6:57Speaker 1: than I do. But they say, here's the thing.
- 6:58Speaker 3: They say that this specifical story, I.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Value it, but I'm incredibly smart with it too, well said,
- 7:04Speaker 2: do you use money?
- 7:06Speaker 3: Okay?
- 7:06Speaker 1: A Harvard study followed a thousand students after graduation. They
- 7:10Speaker 1: said that those who went into the workforce and valued
- 7:12Speaker 1: time more than money tended to be happier when surveyed
- 7:15Speaker 1: later in their career. That didn't mean they took lazy,
- 7:18Speaker 1: low pressure opportunities. It meant that they had a line
- 7:21Speaker 1: at which the pursuit of money wasn't worth the sacrifice.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And so that's what they're talking about there.
- 7:26Speaker 1: The line where they're like, this just isn't worth it anymore,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and they understood the balance.
- 7:31Speaker 3: What is the balance in this?
- 7:33Speaker 1: But so that one, I guess you could take it
- 7:35Speaker 1: with a grain of salt because it depends on how
- 7:38Speaker 1: much you value money.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Also, you take care of yourself. They're saying that.
- 7:42Speaker 1: People who are truly happy actually care about the things
- 7:45Speaker 1: that matter, the basic stuff, eating healthy, exercising and getting
- 7:50Speaker 1: enough sleep. So those things they say that you know,
- 7:53Speaker 1: people who you know, make sure that those things are
- 7:56Speaker 1: in check for them, they tend to be happier.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so those are good five things, five good things.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I should we go back a couple hours and talking
- 8:02Speaker 2: about all that lard that you answered that's one day
- 8:05Speaker 2: out of but you're happy with it actually made you
- 8:09Speaker 2: really really hard.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Made me happy exactly, But so did the mango.
- 8:13Speaker 2: There you go. It's all about Belli.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's all about Bellan.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I'm bringing some smiles to your face today. Jk J
- 8:22Speaker 2: mixed one hundred. It's from Benji. I wrote back, and
- 8:25Speaker 2: I was like, well, yeah, Benji, and he's out in Morrison,
- 8:27Speaker 2: So Benji from Morrison. He says, I got a dilemma.
- 8:31Speaker 2: About a month ago. I proposed to my girlfriend and
- 8:34Speaker 2: she said yes. Everything was amazing, and I thought we
- 8:38Speaker 2: were starting the next chapter of our lives. I gave
- 8:43Speaker 2: her the receipt for the engagement ring that I got
- 8:46Speaker 2: for her. She said, oh, thanks. She shoved it into
- 8:49Speaker 2: her purse and said, I'm gonna file this away and
- 8:51Speaker 2: make sure everything is documented for insurance purposes, which is
- 8:54Speaker 2: incredibly reasonable. Right, something happens. You got the receipt for
- 8:58Speaker 2: the ring. He goes on to say something about yes,
- 9:02Speaker 2: she'd get to it later because she did shove it
- 9:04Speaker 2: in a purse. Then he goes on in this message,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and he says, about a week later, she came home
- 9:09Speaker 2: and told me something I wasn't expecting. She had stopped
- 9:13Speaker 2: by the jewelry store where I had purchased the ring.
- 9:16Speaker 2: She says, just to look around, as the quote, and
- 9:20Speaker 2: she found another engagement ring while she was there that
- 9:23Speaker 2: she actually liked a whole lot more. And the jeweler
- 9:27Speaker 2: told her that she could exchange the one I gave
- 9:30Speaker 2: her for a new one, so she did. Oh, she
- 9:35Speaker 2: flip flopped the rings. Now, he goes on to say, well,
- 9:41Speaker 2: she wasn't trying to hide it. She told me that
- 9:43Speaker 2: day and she said she hoped I wasn't upset, but
- 9:47Speaker 2: she just saw this ring, fell in love with it,
- 9:50Speaker 2: and she kind of liked it better. Here's why I'm struggling.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It's not really about the ring. I want her to
- 9:56Speaker 2: love what she's got to wear for the rest of
- 9:58Speaker 2: her life. If she had come to me and said,
- 10:00Speaker 2: can we pick out a different ring together, that would
- 10:03Speaker 2: have been better. I probably would have been fine with it.
- 10:06Speaker 2: What bothers me is that she made the decision without me.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It felt like something that was supposed to be our
- 10:11Speaker 2: moment suddenly became her decision. I put a lot of
- 10:15Speaker 2: thought into choosing that ring and to kind of shrug
- 10:18Speaker 2: it off and swap it out with even not even
- 10:20Speaker 2: talking to me first, He's like, that ain't cool. Now
- 10:23Speaker 2: I'm wondering, is this how we handle big decisions from
- 10:27Speaker 2: here on out? Is this what's gonna happen before we're
- 10:30Speaker 2: even married, what happens when we buy a house? Is
- 10:33Speaker 2: she gonna flip flop on that, raising kids, flip flop
- 10:36Speaker 2: on that? Am I making way too much out of this?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Or is this a red flag about how she's gonna
- 10:41Speaker 2: handle the decisions in our marriage? What should I do?
- 10:46Speaker 2: And that's from Benji out in Morrison. If you have
- 10:50Speaker 2: thoughts on this three oh three six nine one one
- 10:52Speaker 2: mix three oh three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 10:58Speaker 2: This is nutty to who does that? Who goes into
- 11:01Speaker 2: a jewelry store and just bops out the engagement ring?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Well, I don't think she meant to do that, but
- 11:06Speaker 1: once the option was there, listen, she has to wear
- 11:09Speaker 1: that for the rest of their relationship at least, so
- 11:14Speaker 1: I can see both sides of this one.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I what I was gonna say.
- 11:19Speaker 5: On the other hand, Katie like as someone who's possibly
- 11:22Speaker 5: thinking about doing something like this relatively soon, like I
- 11:27Speaker 5: would feel kind of slighted. I would feel kind of upset, like, Oh,
- 11:29Speaker 5: you didn't like all the time, thought, money and everything
- 11:32Speaker 5: that I put into that.
- 11:33Speaker 3: You know, I understand.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I understand again a lot of that.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I can see both sides.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But he doesn't have to wear it, like she's the
- 11:39Speaker 1: one who's gonna have to wear it. But and so
- 11:43Speaker 1: I just to say she's going become a guy's point
- 11:45Speaker 1: of view, I know, But to say she's gonna do
- 11:47Speaker 1: it about the house and the kids and everything else
- 11:49Speaker 1: is crazy, like that doesn't apply to just her.
- 11:52Speaker 2: But why didn't she Why did she just happen to
- 11:54Speaker 2: make her way into that jewelry store too, like she
- 11:57Speaker 2: was on a mission. She should have spoke up to, Oh,
- 12:00Speaker 2: you don't just happen to wander into the same jewelry
- 12:03Speaker 2: store with the receipt in your person without alterior motives.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I think maybe, I don't know, that's.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Not spontaneous, right, You didn't just wander into a Jared's,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I'm not sure, or Shaneko or what are the biggies?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Hi Dana Banana morning? All right? So Is this a
- 12:22Speaker 2: red flag? Was this cool?
- 12:25Speaker 6: It's a giant red flag and he knows it. That's
- 12:28Speaker 6: why he wrote. Yeah, he's got a nagging voice. There's
- 12:31Speaker 6: other red flags. He just needs someone to speak into that.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Like people need to listen to their intuition. So, you know,
- 12:40Speaker 6: do you.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Think he should just cut and run at this point?
- 12:42Speaker 6: Absolutely? Whoa What a story she came up with. I mean,
- 12:48Speaker 6: she talked to all of her girlfriends, you know, like
- 12:51Speaker 6: this was calculated and planned and carried out and then
- 12:54Speaker 6: told to him as if he's a dumb puppy, he
- 12:56Speaker 6: can be a dumb puppy smart.
- 12:59Speaker 5: You know it?
- 13:00Speaker 1: She was.
- 13:00Speaker 2: You know what, you kind of made a good point.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Maybe she did start showing girlfriends and family or whatever,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and they're like, yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:08Speaker 2: If you're a white gold type of person, you.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Know, it's not easy to swap out a diamond ring
- 13:13Speaker 6: at any jewelers. It's not easy. It's a thing. Yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 6: it's also I mean, she didn't show her girlfriends that way.
- 13:20Speaker 6: She showed them like, oh my god.
- 13:24Speaker 3: But if she.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Doesn't like it, she has no say in that. She's
- 13:27Speaker 1: got to wear this ring she hates for the rest
- 13:29Speaker 1: of her life.
- 13:30Speaker 6: She has total say she just treated her fiance like
- 13:33Speaker 6: a dumb puppy.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of that's my thing too, Like, I'm
- 13:38Speaker 2: fine if she didn't like it, have the conversation with me.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Let's go get something that you're gonna adore for the
- 13:44Speaker 2: rest of your life.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Him, clearly he didn't have a conversation with her before
- 13:50Speaker 1: he got the ring, otherwise.
- 13:51Speaker 3: She would have liked it. Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Do you always have the conversation?
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:54Speaker 2: I did with Nick Knak. We went in the jewelry
- 13:56Speaker 2: stores and I was like, what do you like? Yeah, Danna,
- 13:59Speaker 2: thank you. I have your vote for Red Flag and Run.
- 14:02Speaker 2: We really appreciate you calling in. Here's Marky Mark, Hi Mark, Hello, Psych,
- 14:11Speaker 2: Hi Clara, Welcome to the show. Hi, hey girl, red
- 14:16Speaker 2: Flag bad idea? What do you think?
- 14:19Speaker 4: I'm kind of offense about it because I do see
- 14:21Speaker 4: both sides. Like Katie said, I do think it is
- 14:23Speaker 4: suspicious that she went there to the jeweler store in
- 14:27Speaker 4: the first place, because, like the last color said, that's
- 14:29Speaker 4: not something that just happens, Like she didn't just wander in.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Definitely premeditated, and I think she has a right to
- 14:36Speaker 4: you know, obviously pick out what ring she wanted, and
- 14:39Speaker 4: whether or not she had communicated that prior, Like maybe
- 14:43Speaker 4: it's on Benji. Maybe he didn't actually listen to what
- 14:47Speaker 4: she said, like, oh, I told you I like gold,
- 14:49Speaker 4: you got silver. You know, we don't know the whole situation. Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 4: but I do think that's that's something she should have
- 14:55Speaker 4: communicated to him.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yeah, And it does seem kind of shady that she
- 15:00Speaker 4: went behind his back and kind of like played it off.
- 15:03Speaker 4: So are you Maybe maybe she was trying to spare
- 15:05Speaker 4: her feelings though, you know, in her defense, maybe she
- 15:07Speaker 4: just thought that like, oh, he'd feel really hurt if
- 15:10Speaker 4: you know, he spent a less time picking it out
- 15:12Speaker 4: and I told him like straight up, like, hey, I
- 15:13Speaker 4: actually don't like it. I think that would maybe she
- 15:16Speaker 4: was trying to push into his feelings.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I feel like that would have been even though it
- 15:19Speaker 2: sucks either way, that would have been the more gentle
- 15:22Speaker 2: way to do it, versus just showing up with something
- 15:25Speaker 2: completely different even though it's a conversation.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Yeah, they didn't communicate.
- 15:31Speaker 4: I don't think necessarily this has to be a deal breaker.
- 15:34Speaker 4: I think, you know, I think if there's other things
- 15:37Speaker 4: that are going on and this is kind of a trend.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Then maybe yes, that's something concerning.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Am I putting you under red Flag? Talk about this
- 15:46Speaker 2: or cut and run?
- 15:49Speaker 4: I think red Flag would talk about it. Okay, I think,
- 15:51Speaker 4: you know, I think they have that genuine conversation and
- 15:54Speaker 4: you know, maybe she admits like, hey, I didn't want
- 15:55Speaker 4: to hear your feeling. Sorry it this is you know,
- 15:58Speaker 4: I got in a little too deep and this is
- 15:59Speaker 4: what And you know, I think they can move forward
- 16:02Speaker 4: from this. I don't think it's a deal breaker, but
- 16:04Speaker 4: I got in there.
- 16:05Speaker 7: And need to have a conversation everything.
- 16:06Speaker 3: It was just so sparkling exactly.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I couldn't control myself. Before I knew it, I walked
- 16:12Speaker 2: out with a different ring. All right, Clara, thank you
- 16:14Speaker 2: so much for the call. I got two red flags
- 16:17Speaker 2: right now and we will go to Tracy. Hi, Tracy, Hey,
- 16:22Speaker 2: how are you all?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Well?
- 16:23Speaker 2: We're super dupes. We we love these segments because it's
- 16:26Speaker 2: like so juicy for us that we deal with other
- 16:28Speaker 2: people's problems, you know.
- 16:31Speaker 7: Fight as songs that are not your own.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I know that's what makes it fun. Okay, So what
- 16:35Speaker 2: are your thoughts on this guy's situation and what's your advice.
- 16:38Speaker 7: So kudos to him for the effort in trying to
- 16:41Speaker 7: like get a ring on his own. But I was
- 16:44Speaker 7: given a ring as an engagement once and the ring
- 16:47Speaker 7: just didn't feel like me at all. And I had
- 16:51Speaker 7: actually needed paperwork, you know, to go get it insured.
- 16:55Speaker 7: When I went to the jewelry store where the box
- 16:57Speaker 7: was from, they said that they didn't carry that. Later
- 17:01Speaker 7: I found out that that ring was not even meant
- 17:04Speaker 7: for me.
- 17:04Speaker 6: It was a reused rink.
- 17:07Speaker 7: Perfect sense why it didn't feel like me. But I
- 17:11Speaker 7: would like to make a suggestion to all the men
- 17:13Speaker 7: out there. If you're going to get married, and you
- 17:16Speaker 7: have been talking about getting married, why not have like
- 17:20Speaker 7: three jewelry stores that you choose and you tell your
- 17:23Speaker 7: future fiance to go pick out two or three rings
- 17:26Speaker 7: at each store, and then the guy gets to pick
- 17:29Speaker 7: one of those rings that she already chose if she.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Likes perfect, absolutely perfect. That It's very similar with what
- 17:36Speaker 2: I did with my wife, where we went to the
- 17:38Speaker 2: jewelry store and I was like, just show me, give
- 17:40Speaker 2: me five that really catch your eye and then I'll
- 17:42Speaker 2: go from there type of thing. Yeah, And then I
- 17:45Speaker 2: went to Cole's and got one that looked very similar
- 17:47Speaker 2: for way Less, Way Less, Jem.
- 17:53Speaker 7: Sorry, the red flag, I don't think it's a red
- 17:56Speaker 7: flag at all. I think it's like more like a
- 17:58Speaker 7: yellow And like the other caller said, if there's other
- 18:01Speaker 7: things that have been going on that this is just
- 18:04Speaker 7: a you know, like the cherry on top. The communication
- 18:07Speaker 7: is key in all relationships, and so just talk about
- 18:10Speaker 7: it and see how each other was feeling.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good. Just talk it out. Believe it or not,
- 18:15Speaker 2: that usually works.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Have a conversation.
- 18:17Speaker 2: You're gonna have a whole lifelong marriage. Now you got
- 18:19Speaker 2: to learn to talk to each other. Tracy, we have
- 18:21Speaker 2: your vote, thank you so very much. Well, right now
- 18:24Speaker 2: it's two to one, so in favor of red flag.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I think it's a little bit of a red flag.
- 18:32Speaker 2: But I'm kind of with our callers. Just sit down,
- 18:34Speaker 2: let's talk this out. Okay. I think that's gonna be
- 18:37Speaker 2: your best move.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gonna be the at least step one and
- 18:40Speaker 1: go from there. But you need to have a conversation
- 18:42Speaker 1: for sure, and say, please.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Don't do this again, like loop me in on big
- 18:46Speaker 2: decisions like this.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Please yes,
