there's something about perfection that's mentioned. But we know in this world. It's

We're divided. We keep on doing the same old, same old,

and calling labeling things as they are love and we don't even have the definition

knowing Christ and not believing in Jesus and not following him and not being born

hear people, my Hebrew friends talking through Judaism and the lens of Judaism,

they said, well, all God's children. And it makes sense to me

why they say that, because if they say that what Christ said or what

And we know that this world is totally and extremely divided. And we know

and he's kind and he's gentle, and he's merciful. It's full of grace

and truth and love. God is love. So we have the perfect example

of a man Jesus will lived in love because he is love. And then

we have God saying that he is love. Amen, and we have the

definition of what love is all throughout the scriptures. We're gonna be a Matthew

Chapter five, So there's a lot here a man. Hopefully I could get

should be the very first thing that we do in anyway, is to make

a living word that we read right, and God is good. So let's

being just tossed around in this world like it ain't nothing and it's a different

thing. But Jesus loved his different. Amen. Let's see. In Matthew

chapter five, verses forty three and forty eight, this is our Lord speaking.

I'm crony, straight from the scriptures. I'm not gonna add nothing that

can't take away nothing can't add nothing. Anyway, here's a scripture Matthew five,

forty three forty eight. Jesus said, you have heard that it was

said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. And the Lord is

referring to the Old Covenant, to the law of Moses, levitical code,

levitical law. Okay, so he's speaking to people who know, who are

under that, who are practicing the law. So she said, you have

heard that it was said you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.

But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who

persecute you, so that you may be sons of your father, who is

in heaven. The Jesus is not abolishing the law. He's completing the law.

And he's saying, you heard the law. But I'm telling you this

authority. He's practicing his authority right now. But I say to you,

love your neighbor, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,

so that you may be sons of your father who is in heaven.

But he makes his son rise on the evil and on the good, and

sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those

who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax

collectors do the same. And if you greet only your brothers, what more

are you doing than others? What more are you doing than others? Do

a whole bunch of superstition, hocus pocus when we pray to God, because

they don't see God, they don't feel God, they don't know God.

But we know God, and we see God through through his creation, through

people and men, through his word. And we have different lenses on and

when we show love and man, it hits different to the people around us

because they don't understand the love of God. Yet. Well, our prayer

is what that everyone will come to the knowledge of Jesus, the Lord,

the Christ. Amen, and they will be saved and born again so they

could experience what we're experiencing. This is not just a club for Christians.

you can read the scriptures for yourself. But remember this uninspired, uninspired reading

of the scriptures is gibberish. But inspire word. When you read the word

inspired by Holy Spirit God, then the word comes to life ay man.

So that that's just how it is, at least in my experience when I

used to read the scriptures, I used to read it when I was not

saved. Me and a Jehovah Witness friend of mine, we used to compare

the Catholic Bible and Jehovah's Witness Bible. We just look at it, read

it now, understanding what we're doing. Now, understanding what we're reading.

We're just curious to see what was the difference. And then we were just

keeping moving from there. There was no transformation. We were just getting information,

if you get what I'm saying. Right, So we know that the

world right teaches love in a different way. But we see a difference the

way God says love is The world says love is love. God says God

is love. See that the world says love is love. So they're taking

the word and they're turning into a definition the very same word that they're calling

love. They say love is love. That is meaningless, that doesn't mean

anything. But when God speaks about what love is and what we're supposed to

do, the law doesn't love, right, The law says hate your enemies.

Jesus said, out of his love and compassions, no pray for your

enemies. You see that that hits different. It's a different way of life,

it's a different lens, it's a different perspective because we have the God

perspective. We have the love perspective of the Word of God. Love is

not just love, right, God is love. So we have a supreme

being, eternal being being love Amen. And from there we can move and

have our being and know how to love others because He first loved us.

Right. The biggest problem is that we don't tend to view the people in

other camps and other belief systems as people we disagree with. We tend to

think of them as our enemies. And I learned that a long time ago.

Islam is not my enemies. The Jews who don't believe in Jesus,

they're not my enemies. Mormons, Joe of Awitness, Catholics, you name

it, they're not my enemies. Amen. If they come against the word

of God. If they love the world, their enemies to God. Scripture

says, love the world your enemies to God. Right. If you say

that you have no sin, you're a liar. If you try to follow

the law, you will never make it. Amen. The only law that

we are covered, and we make it all the time through is by way

of Holy Spirit. When Jesus said, love your Lord, the Lord God,

with everything you have, mind, strength, body, soul, everything.

And love your neighbors as you love yourself. Jesus said those two laws

right there. Amen, you can't have one without the other. By the

way completes and fulfills. And when we're in the spirit, we're not under

I say that when we're in the spirit, we're no longer under the law.

So imagine someone in a different camp, different than ours, different thinking

people like the way we think. And you read today's verse when we read

it. When Jesus said in today's verse, you shall love your neighbor and

hate your enemy, he was repeating back the teaching of the Old Testament subscribes

and Pharisees who knew it well because they were still under that covenant. Right.

But if you turn back to the Old Testament Book of Leviticus, this

is where you know. It gets to the point of reading the scriptures for

yourself and knowing what you're reading. You see that Jesus only quoted the first

half of that passage. But here's the full verse. You shall not take

vengeance is the full verse that he was quoting from. You shall not take

vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, But you

shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. See that.

So they already had it, But they were just taking the peace that they

want us to take out, and they were going under that law, under

that principle, Oh, love your neighbors, hate your enemies. And if

you look at the Middle East right now, you don't think this is relevant.

Right, look at the Middle East right now, what's going on.

Neighbors are not being they're not loving each other over there, different camps.

They're fighting for property, fighting for land, amen, because they don't see

love, and they're treating each other as enemies, and they're forgetting the commandment

anyway, love your enemies. Where's the love? I know, it's not

really none of my business of what's going on in the Middle East. We're

not getting bombed, thank you, Lord Jesus. A lot of bombing,

a lot of killing, a lot of them arguing, a lot of misunderstanding

of the scriptures. And his two camps, actually three camps over there Islam,

Christianity, and Judaism going on at the same time. Then you have

another camp that doesn't even believe in God like that fighting out there. So

shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people,

but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord the

the difference, right, the scribes and Pharisees that Jesus was talking to.

They were responsible for teaching people of what God said. That's cool, that's

were teaching what God said. Right. They're not representing the scriptures accurately,

though, and Jesus will always call them out on that, and a lot

of people are getting called out on that to this every day. They're not

teaching the scriptures or presenting the scriptures accurately. We see that right now on

Morning Day Churchianity and Christianity in America. The preachers, teachers, evangelists,

prophets, apostles that are going around half word like they give you a little

bit and then they're running with it and giving you their portion of their understanding.

And people are screaming, running around, falling out and screaming Howelujah and

all that, and then these people are not even presenting the scriptures accurately.

What I try to do is the easy way to avoid all of that in

my life. Just read the scriptures, do to study, ask God for

understanding, and keep it moving from there. I might not understand all the

word of God, and you might not understand all the Word of God.

But we have the opportunity to invite Holy Spirit of God to teach us and

to guide us into all what truth, so that we won't be in lives

and evers. So the Old Testament scriptures do not teach that we were supposed

to hate our enemies. Actually, you know that right doesn't really teach that.

It actually teaches that we aren't supposed to make enemies in the first place.

We see the difference. Jesus love hits different the Word of God hits

difference from when you know Jesus Amen as the Lord of the Word, as

the living Word, as the logos, right as the living epistol, living

love letter. The Lord God explicitly said not to take revenge on people who

have wronged you, and not to hold a grudge. So no revenge and

no grudges. That's odd to the world. They want to if the world

in the rap world, especially that distracts and the disrespect to one another.

They try. That's why they need preachings. They need preachers to go

who know the definition of true love. They need people who read these scriptures

and are about this life that we're bound here on the morning Devo. Right,

we're about this life. We really live this out and the world needs

to see us unified in Christ, not acting crazy and being extremely divided like

the world. And they already see that amongst each other and they calling that

love. So imagine when they see a united body in Christ bringing love to

them. Amen. That's why evangelism is very important. We need to bring

And we have modern day apostles, pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets,

all of that doing the same. So we have to be mindful of them

and have to be careful. And you discernment right of what you're watching and

who you're listening to. Describes and Pharisees with cherry picking the parts of the

scripture that they liked, leaving off the rest. A lot of people still

do that. Amen. So Jesus teachings is calling us to a higher and

holier standard than the world would expect. That's why the world, you know,

they say, oh, you guys are holy rollers. You think you're

better than us, and this, that and the third because they recognize that

we're living on a higher standard, not that we're better than anyone, is

that we're following the best way to life. What explains the meaning of life

better than the Holy scriptures? Right? You could ask people that why do

you believe in the Bible, Because it's the best explanation we have about life,

creation, morality, about love, about a creator God. Amen,

it makes sense to those who are born again, who are inspired by the

living Word of God. It doesn't make any sense to those who are uninspired.

I wasn't inspired by Holy Spirit all my life. I was born again,

Amen. That's why Jesus said you must be born again to inherit the

Kingdom of God. If I would have just kept it moving, kept on

living the life that I wanted to live my own way, this one still

have not made any kind of sense to me. Amen, And I would

have been still lost in the sauts in the world. Amen. And Jesus,

by his grace and his mercy, saved me, rescued me, transformed

me, renewed me, and gave me this born again experience. And now

he knows that I, ay Man, I learn from God what love is.

And now I have a way of sharing His love by sharing truth and

love and showing grace, gentleness, kindness, right and all that and mercy

and not to want revenge and not holding a grudge. I don't worry at

all, really too much, if any at all, because I know God

has my best in his heart and his mind. God has his very best

for you for your life as well, Amen, wanting us to have a

heart free of hatred, of any hatred, and to be full of his

love, because His love is the best love. The accurate definition of love

is God. The accurate definition of good is God. That's why I always

say God is good, because that's the raw, pure definition of God,

his goodness and love. Love is just not love. I know the mantra

is going and it's popular out there. Amen, and they think they have

the definition, and they're trying to redefine this, and they're trying to redefine

that. But God is love. Let's talk about God being love and we'll

start from there and then where we see, and then we could see where

the conversation would go from there. Loving the world as He loved us,

even our enemies. That's different. Now, don't love the things of the

world, because if you love the things of the world, then your enemies

to God. And who wants that type of smoke. I don't. I

don't want to be an enemy to God. I want to be the beloved

of God. I want to be the son of God. I want to

be the child of God. I want to be in the Kingdom of God.

I want to be in the Kingdom of Light and not the kingdom of

darkness. I want to represent the true love, not the false love that

this world is offering, and they're offering to our kids. Man, that's

what gets me upset because I'm like, why are they're pushing this agenda to

my daughters and the young kids that maybe you have young kids, your relatives,

your aunts, your nieces, your nephew, your grandchildren. They're pushing

this agenda, pushing this agenda. This is what love really is. Don't

listen to those Christians. And then God is love and he's saying, listen,

don't. They're not your enemy. Don't treat them. Measure enemies,

love your enemies, Amen. Don't hold a grudge, don't have hate,

and it hits different. Jesus love hits different. That's my point today.

So take Matthew chapter number five. Read the whole chapter for yourself. I'm
