  are going to be continuing with books six of the Wheel of Time. This

  book will be is called The Lord of Chaos. Love it, Read it.

  It takes you there, It takes you places, It takes you places.

  So I will say this book is not as action packed as the last
• 8:43
  five books. It's more of a lot of there's a lot more like politics
• 8:50
  involved, a lot more story building, a lot more character development. We
• 8:56
  see many changes in our characters as each of them takes next steps in like
• 9:01
  their training, their training, uh their development into either a better character or
• 9:07
  a worse character. And we also see the right. We also see tensions
• 9:13
  build between different factions. Uh, we see tensions building between the opposing Ayeel.
• 9:20
  Factions like the Shadow are still a problem for Rands and his main force
• 9:26
  of Ayel. We see we begin to see how Rand is beginning to bring
• 9:37
  all these different factions together because he has uh. He has the country of
• 9:41
  Tyr and Kyrine under his control as well as Kitlin. He also has the
• 9:45
  Ayel under his control, and he has to uh. He has to navigate
• 9:50
  these factions because the ay Eel and the Kyrines Uh. They but they bump
• 9:56
  heads a lot because the Kyrines hate the a Eel, especially because the a
• 10:01
  Eel anquered them like with like about twenty years ago, and the shut the
• 10:09
  Aeel hate the Kyrine because the Kyne are what they call pretty killers, so
• 10:16
  they cut down the tree that the Ael had given them to them as a
• 10:20
  sign of friendship, and that's what started the war twenty years ago. OK.

  He doesn't have to really worry about the keep the people from and or
• 10:31
  but butting heads because the Andorans are pretty neutral. They have not really had
• 10:37
  any like major conflicts with Kyrine or Tear, and plus since Rn had just
• 10:45
  taken Camelin under his control, he has yet to actually like begin moving Caitlin's
• 10:50
  forces across the different countries that he's already the different territories that he has under
• 10:54
  his control. The Kyrines, the kyne And and the Tyrens. They bump
• 11:03
  head more because their two nations are our neighbors. And while the carine Ins
• 11:11
  they don't really have their history and the Tyrans history are pretty checkered. They've
• 11:18
  had wars in the past, so the Tyrens look down on the carine In,
• 11:22
  and the carine In really just hate how stuck up the tyrene Ins are,
• 11:26
  So he has to really navigate all of these different issues. Rand also
• 11:31
  has to deal with both both factions of the Isid Eye. He has to
• 11:39
  deal with the consistent pressure from the White Tower faction as Elida herself, who
• 11:48
  has been placed as the ambulance seat at the end of book four Ah,
• 11:56
  she has sent out an invitation to Ran and calling him to the White Tower
• 12:01
  so that way she can pledge her support to uh Do Rand as a Dragon
• 12:09
  reborn and openly acknowledge him, and then he also has a delegation from the
• 12:16
  rebel faction from salad Ar, who already who they are more open and accepting
• 12:22
  a Rand as the Dragon Reborn, but sadly there's still isid I and the
• 12:30
  isid I de Rand as something more of a pawn rather than the person the
• 12:35
  man who's going to lead the world against the Dark One at tim Er Guide
• 12:41
  in so he has to deal with all that, and we also see a
• 12:48
  lot. We see a lot of development and growth with our girls who are
• 12:52
  with the Iceid Eye, so Igwayne. In this book, she joins the
• 12:58
  rebel faction in Saladar, and from Saladar, Ninive and Elaine eventually set out
• 13:07
  from there on a mission of their own, but before they do, for
• 13:13
  the most part, they for the majority of the book, they are experimenting
• 13:20
  with their powers. They've resumed their studies and they're really leveling up. And
• 13:24
  the same with the Gway. She levels up a lot in this book too.

  Her time with the Wise Ones comes to an end because the Sitters,
• 13:33
  the leaders of the rebel faction, call call her to return to them and
• 13:39
  join them, and she accepts. And there's plenty there's a lot that happens
• 13:43

  So aside from away in Agwayne and the Girls and Rants, the story will

  also be following Matt and Paren as well. In this book, Paren rejoins

  their group. So it's not like book five where he was all but forgotten.

  I remember reading book five and I'm like, huh, what what's going

  on with Parent? Is he gonna come back? What's going on? Right?

  And he comes back. In this he decides to join Rand and Matt

  is now the leader of his own little troop. They've taken to calling themselves
• 14:31
  the Red Hand. What do they call themselves? Let's see here? Yep?

  All right, cool, all right, get that fart out. So,

  in the wake of book five, forms his own little personal army,
• 14:50
  his own little band of soldiers, consisting of tyrene In kirene In soldiers and
• 14:58
  a few and Dorian soldiers that came into Kyrine to help stabilize the region before
• 15:05
  Ran came along. So all these men are working under him, and they
• 15:11
  call themselves the Band of the Red, of the Red Hands, and they
• 15:13
  really look and respect they look to and respect Matt because as a tavern his
• 15:18
  abilities to UH basically change the flow, the natural flow of the pattern around
• 15:26
  him. It really manifests himself as in a form of extreme luck. So
• 15:31
  he's basically like the wheel of Times version of Domino. So he's he's stupidly
• 15:37
  lucky. And he often uses that luck to his advantage when it comes to
• 15:41
  like gambling, because he's a big gambler, and it also comes in handy
• 15:48
  with his UH when he's leading his troops. And aside from his tavern abilities,
• 15:52
  he also has the gift of of memories that he received from Alphin from
• 16:00
  the Redstone Archway, So he has the memories of all of these long dead
• 16:10
  generals and brilliant military tacticians. So these are these people are long have been
• 16:15
  long dead. It's not really clear like who these people are the memories of
• 16:22
  these people that he possessed, like who they were? We know that they
• 16:26
  were great generals, and at one point someone suggested that those were the memories
• 16:32
  of his past lives, but most like most agree that these are just memories
• 16:37
  from like really like great generals of the past, and their knowledge and experience
• 16:42
  are now in ran in Matt's possession, so he knows more about like strategy,
• 16:52
  battle tactics, and organ and how to organize an army, things like
• 16:56
  that, which makes him a very invaluable asset, especially to the Rants campaign.

  UH. So where the book starts off, uh, Rand is working
• 17:08
  to stabilize Camelin Uh since he is since he just took Camelin uh and removed
• 17:15
  Robin from control. Uh. He has to really work to get everyone everything
• 17:21
  back in order because a lot of the palace's servants fled because they just thought
• 17:26
  that that first. They just thought Rand came to conquer them, when really
• 17:30
  what he did was liberate them from the forsakens control. UH. He's had
• 17:34
  to make new allies. For example, UH he had gained a new ally
• 17:41
  in the in the form of a man named davm Bashir UH. Now dav
• 17:45
  Bashir is the Uh. He is the uncle and one of the lord commands
• 17:52
  like one of the Lord General's lord commanders of Saldia, which is a board
• 18:00
  land nation not far from Shayinar and Uh. He is the uncle to the
• 18:07
  Queen of Saladar. And he was sent down into and Or because it was
• 18:14
  his duty to capture and ensure that the false dragon masarm Tayim was safely delivered
• 18:22
  to Tarbalan. But when Tayim escaped da Uh, Bashir tracked him down into
• 18:30
  and Or. But when he was but he had arrived just before Ran Uh
• 18:37
  confronted Robin. So after that confrontation was over, Bashir Uh rant and Uh
• 18:45
  offered to help him restabilize Uh stabilize Camlin as well as and Or keep things
• 18:51
  in order because he had like a large force of like several thousand Uh Saldean
• 18:56
  men. Uh, so he agrees to pledge. He pledged himself to the
• 19:00
  Dragon Reborn and helps it helps Rand keep the area stabilized until ran can move
• 19:06
  more of his forces from Kyrine and Tyr into and Or, which he does
• 19:11
  pretty quickly because in the wake of his fight with with Robin, he figured
• 19:17
  he finally figures out how to successfully open gateways for traveling, because throughout book
• 19:25
  four and five he only learns how to partially travel through a method called skimming.
• 19:32
  So we're traveling is where you open a gateway and you can instantly step
• 19:36
  from one point to another, like thousands of miles away. Skimming is something
• 19:41
  similar, but when you open a gateway, it doesn't open to like the
• 19:45
  other place. You're traveling to, but it opens into this black void,
• 19:48
  and when you step into it, you step onto this platform that forms and
• 19:52
  it transports you across a vast distance, kind of like the same way that
• 19:57
  the waygates work. And the reason why skimming exists is because when it comes
• 20:06
  to traveling, you not only have to know the place that you're traveling to,
• 20:11
  you also need to be very familiar with the place you're leaving from.
• 20:15
  So you can't instantaneously travel from one point to another if you're in an unfamiliar
• 20:19
  area. So skimming was the alternative to traveling because you could lead. You
• 20:26
  could skim without knowing where you're leaving from, but you still needed to know
• 20:29
  where you're going, so it was it's kind of complicated, and throughout book
• 20:33
  five that's that was the only way ran knew how to instantaneously travel. But
• 20:40
  when he fought Robin, he was observing how the weaves Robin was using and
• 20:45
  he picked up a few tricks, including how to and no excuse me.
• 20:51
  During that fight he figured out how to travel instantaneously, so he leveled up
• 20:56
  in that area as well as he picked up a few extra tricks from Rovin
• 21:00
  in including how to weave like more complex illusion weaves, and his training with
• 21:06
  Asmodian has also taught him how to invert weaves, how to create more complex
• 21:11
  illusions, how to set traps, how to tie off weaves properly, things
• 21:15
  like that. Unfortunately, as far as Rand knows, Asmodian disappeared, but
• 21:22
  uh sadly for him, Asmodian is dead. He or at this point,
• 21:30
  we don't know who killed him. I technically already know, but that's because
• 21:36
  I spoiled it for myself. But I'm not going to spoil it here.
• 21:40
  So yeah, not yet. It won't be revealed on so much later.

  Uh. So Rand has begun, has already begun moving some of his i
• 21:51
  ill forces into Camlin to keep the city secure and hold it in place.
• 21:57
  During this time, mas Tayim himself arrives and accepts Rand's offer of amnesty,
• 22:06
  because at the end of book five, Rand set out a proclamation that any
• 22:11
  men who have the who possesses the ability to channel will we'll receive amnesty and
• 22:18
  longer be persecuted by the Isidaye. All they need to do is come to
• 22:23
  Camlin and swear their allegiance to Rand, and he will protect them. So
• 22:29
  long as they serve him. And he also stated that he will offer amnesty
• 22:33
  to Mazrum Tayen because Mazarm Tayen had declared himself as a false dragon. Now
• 22:41
  he was a He had declared himself false dragon around book three, so while
• 22:45
  Rand was traveling to Tyr to claim Kalandor, Mazarm was causing chaos like in
• 22:52
  the North in the borderlands and Uh. When Rand claimed Calandor Uh, it
• 23:00
  was like the pattern that would The pattern has ways of shifting, and uh
• 23:07
  working in favor of some people. And since Time had declared declared himself as
• 23:12
  a false dragon, as the dragon reborn, the pattern was working in his
• 23:18
  favor. So every time the isid I would try to come for him or
• 23:22
  any like armed forces tried to attack him, Time either would always always manage
• 23:27
  to escape or he would always defeat those attacking forces. But as soon as
• 23:33
  Ran claims Colandor and declared himself as a true Dragon reborn, the pattern shifted
• 23:37
  saw that extra luck that mazar Time was getting h vanished and he was captured.
• 23:48
  He was captured and was well on his way to tarvel On, but
• 23:52
  sometime during the events of book four Tayim escaped and he had been he had
• 23:59
  gone into high but he heard about Rand's amnesty. So in the beginning of
• 24:03
  book six, he arrives in Camelin and swears his allegiance to Rand. And
• 24:08
  by this point Rand had already been getting had already been getting recruits who men
• 24:15
  who can channel, of men who can channel, and he had been and
• 24:18
  he had hid them away on a farm far outside of the capital of Camlin.
• 24:23
  And at that point he didn't really know what to do. He didn't
• 24:27
  really know what to do with them, because although he wanted to teach them
• 24:33
  himself, being the Dragon reborn and having to lead like at this point,
• 24:37
  four different nations, he didn't have time to properly train them. So when
• 24:41
  Tayim arrives, this presented Ran with the perfect opportunity. So he takes Tayim
• 24:48
  to the farm and he charges him with training these new recruits, who he
• 24:57
  calls the shaman. Now in the old tongue the old tongue, a shaman
• 25:03
  means guardian. So these new this new order of male channelers will base are
• 25:07
  basically going to be called the Guardians. But he tells Taim to train them
• 25:14
  and basically turn them into weapons. He needs weapons in this in the upcoming
• 25:18
  battles end well Taim who uh he wasn't entirely thrilled with that idea because it
• 25:26
  was clear that it's clear that Taim wanted to serve more directly under rands like
• 25:32
  fighting alongside him, things like that, being closer to the dragon reborn.
• 25:36
  But when he gets his new position as the uh as the as a trainer
• 25:42
  for the new school of a Shaman, he wasn't entirely thrilled. But the
• 25:48
  results speak for themselves, and the a Shaman proved themselves to be a very
• 25:52
  pivotal They proved to have a very pivotal part in uh Rand's army. But
• 26:00
  we won't see much of the Ashaman until much later in the book and in
• 26:03
  following books uh So we'll leave them there for now. Aside from Taime being
• 26:10
  in charge of taking control of the recruitment of male channelers, Wren also gives
• 26:15
  him shows him the weave for traveling and skimming, so that way Tayim can
• 26:19
  travel to more further to more distance places to actively recruit male channelers. He
• 26:26
  also puts best Share in charge of organizing volunteers who can't channel into another army,
• 26:37
  So the Saladean Army is going to begin growing with recruits that that will
• 26:41
  directly serve Rand. And aside from them, Ran also has to deal with
• 26:48
  two so with two separate groups of Isidi emissaries from both Saladar, which is
• 26:56
  the which is the faction of rebel Isidie who have broken away from the White
• 27:00
  Tower, and the Isidi who and a group of Isidi who act as emissaries
• 27:07
  for Elieda in the White Tower, and the emissaries from Saladar. When they
• 27:14
  arrive in Kimberlin, they are also are accompanied by Minfarshah and she quickly sets
• 27:21
  herself as a go between between the Isidi and Ran because Rand knows that he
• 27:25
  can trust her, especially since she can't really channel and what's my train of
• 27:37
  thought, I'm sorry. Aside from the two groups, the two factions of
• 27:48
  Isidi, there is another smaller group of Isidi. It's really just two sisters,
• 27:53
  Alana and Varren. We met both of these characters earlier in the book.

  Earlier in the books, Alana is a Isidae of the green Ajia and
• 28:03
  Varren is an isid eye of the brown Aga. Both of them have directly
• 28:08
  or indirectly aided Moraine and by extension, Rand. The last time we saw
• 28:15
  them was in book four when they had they had showed up in the Two
• 28:19
  Rivers because they had gone to the Two Rivers because they suspected that the Two
• 28:26
  Rivers is ripe with potential candidates for the White Tower. And what do you
• 28:34
  know, they met They had found at least somewhere between twenty and thirty girls
• 28:45
  who either have the capacity to learn how to channel or who have the inborn
• 28:48
  spark to channel. And so they recruit these girls, and they were in
• 28:53
  the process of making their way to the White Tower, but they had they
• 28:57
  at this point, they had it known that the White Tower was divided,
• 29:03
  so they had stopped in Camlin, and that's when they around the time they
• 29:06
  found out. And now they were trying to figure out, all right,
• 29:07
  what are we going to do? Because Alana and Varren, while their motives
• 29:12
  weren't exactly clear, uh, they later decide to make their way and take
• 29:19
  the girls that they found the Salad Art to join the rebels, and but
• 29:27
  first they decided to talk with Ran to figure out what he's doing. The
• 29:36
  thing about Alana though this something does happen. And like, Alana is now
• 29:40
  on my permanent shit list because so when she was in the Two Rivers,
• 29:45
  the Two Rivers was being occupied by the White Cloaks while simultaneously being raided by
• 29:52
  Trolux, and white Cloaks take any opportunity to attack Isidaie as well as their
• 29:57
  warders. And when Alana went to the Two Rivers, she had brought three
• 30:03
  of her warders and one of them was killed by the white Cloaks. So
• 30:11
  whenever when I say loses a white Cloak, I'm sorry lose. Whenever a
• 30:15
  warter dies, they do share an emphatic link with all their warders and they
• 30:22
  feel the moment they died. So Alana had felt every arrow that pierced her
• 30:26
  warders back and killed him, and this left her in a really fragile state.
• 30:33
  I mean it happens to all, is said I if their warters die,
• 30:37
  and that's something that they have to deal with. And so Alana was
• 30:41
  more in a more or less emotionally compromised state. And and as many of
• 30:51
  you, as many of you know, when you are in a very emotionally
• 30:53
  vulnerable or compromised position, this can lead to reckless and impulsive behavior. And

  what Alana does is as soon as she gets close enough to Rand, she
• 31:10
  creates an involuntary link between him and her, making him into her word.

  And the reason why Alana did this is because I said, I have a
• 31:22
  certain level of control over their waters, so they can compel their warders to
• 31:27
  obey them so like that, and this is why waters are very loyal to
• 31:33
  their isid eye because through the link, the isid I can compel them to
• 31:40
  follow their directions whether they want them to or not. Now, of course,
• 31:45
  in a traditional sense, like when a word is properly bonded to an
• 31:49
  isid I, they are fully aware that once they bond with an iidy,
• 31:52
  that isid I basically has total control, almost total control over them. So
• 31:57
  they'll be giving up a lot of their own free will. And the thing
• 32:01
  is is and of course no order goes into the bond without being fully prepared
• 32:06
  for it, all right, So that kind of balances out that whole like
• 32:09
  scale of giving up their free will and getting and being put under the control
• 32:15
  of an other iceid eye. But what Alana did by involuntarily bonding Rand,
• 32:21
  she was trying to basically place him under her control But the thing is is
• 32:27
  that what Alana didn't account for was the fact that since Rand himself is a
• 32:30
  channeler, he has the power to completely ignore the bond. Now. When
• 32:37
  she placed the bond on him, she immediately tried to force him to submit
• 32:42
  to her, but he resisted her and placed a shield around both her and
• 32:45
  Varren, preventing them from channeling. And he basically tells them to stay the
• 32:51
  fuck away from him and practically orders them out of Camlin. They don't leave
• 32:55
  yet because they need They still need to figure out where they're gonna go,
• 33:00
  either to the White Tower or to the rebel group in the Salad Aar.
• 33:07
  And the thing is is that even though Rand is able to resist any kind
• 33:13
  of compulsion or control that Alana tried to place on him through the water through
• 33:17
  the Water's pond, he still feels her, so he has a point,
• 33:25
  so he's always aware of her twenty four to seven, her emotional state.
• 33:30
  They can't feel each other's thoughts, just really eat just each other, and
• 33:36
  they know like pretty much where they are at all times, So Alanu will
• 33:40
  know where Rand is almost twenty four to seven. She may not know the

  recruits every day, even when they start marching before they begin. Before they

  begin, however, being on a second before they begin their march, the

  girls have become concerned with the matter of the weather because throughout this book,

  everyone begins to notice that we're entering they are entering the mid autumn months,

  the Dark One had enough strength to permanently lock the season into summer. So

  out a way to fix the weather, and Elaine suggests maybe getting the help

  girls come up with the idea that they figured out where they need to go

  from by going into the dream world. Because the dream world, if your

  need most. You may not it may not be what you expect, but

  the process. So, using this ability, the girls go into the dream

  dream world takes them to a city along the southern coast city of Abu Dhar

  and they appear in this old dusty storeroom and after looking around a bit,

  uh the girls realize that the storeroom is filled with strange artifacts and they realize,

  wait a second, are these tarangriol. It's hard to tell because they're

  in the dream world, but they know that since these objects have been sitting

  in this one place for a long time, they have appeared in the dream

  of time. And while looking through the storeroom, the girls find a large

  bolt and inside the bowl is engravings of like images of clouds and vary scenes

  of different weather phenomenon and while looking at it, Elaine realizes that this might

  be a Tarran brill that allows you to control the weather at like some sort

  of weather bowlt. After like looking around a bit, they realized they must

  be in the city of Abu dhar And and that if they're going to fix

  their plan, they tell they tell her they need to go to Abudhar to

  try to find this tarangriaal there's already a delegation of rebel sisters in Abu Dhar,

  so Elaine tells them, all right, we're gonna, uh, we'll

  send you'll go join those sisters there. As at this point, also not

  our advantage. And uh she goes. She begins asking Ogeddin's questions of like

  different weaves that she could be taught, that she could teach her, and

  Mogedian is like, oh, yes, of course, of course, yes,

  meets with Agwayne, he doesn't realize that she's the new ambulance seat and Niniva

  and Aguayne are and Elaine are also there, so when he starts telling them,

  like, all right, y'all are telling with me, whether you like

  it or not, and he tries to like manhandle her, the girls get
• 1:57:03
  pissed and they try to like restrain him with the power. But it's then
• 1:57:08
  that they realize that they can't touch him with the power because when he made

  that deal with the ale Fan, he got a medallion that's as Tarangreal and

  the medallion prevents channelers from touching him with the power. So anytime a week

  Black Sisters hiding among the the rebels, and one of them comes under the

  command of a mysterious woman who calls herself a Rangar. Now, this woman

  in public is known as Helema, and she becomes the Black Sister. She

  acts as the Black Sisters like made assistant secretary, kind of takes on that

  role. But Helena approaches Mogeddion because she immediately knows that that's who Mogeddion is,

  her. She approaches Mogeddion and she tells Mogedion that she's here to help her

  but that Mugeddian had been summoned to shile Goal by the Dark One, and

  troops from the two Rivers. He tells them to make their way to Kyrine

  as fast as possible, so there so they run into them. They join

  up together, and the join is a strong word. The Isidai enlist them

  at that point to travel with them to Kyrine. But a lot of senses

  that Ran is slowly moving north towards our Balan, and they figure something They

  figured Okay, the delegation from the White Tower must have done something, so

  they curved north to intercept them, and at that point they meet up with

  the other Parents' forces as well as the ay Eel traveling with Paran, and

  they all could join together and they make their way north. At one point

  when they get close enough to the Isidai the White Towers delegation, the scouts

  that Ruark had sent the Iel scouts that Ruark had sent ahead came back and

  reported that there is a massive force of Shadow i Yeeal attacking the White Towers

  delegation and they're and they're currently pinned down a place called Doumai Wells. And

  the thing is the Shadow have about uh yeah, the Shadow have about forty

  thousand soldiers attacking the isid Eye and Gowan who is leading the who is leading

  the uh, the Honor Guard. He has his young Wings which number about

  five hundred, alongside a contingent of soldiers from Tarballon of Tarvalan's Honor Guard.

  So there's like probably no more than a thousand soldiers on there with them,

  like fifteen hundred at the most, and they're completely surrounded by over forty thousand

  a Eel. They immediately form a circle around the Isidie and protect them as

  best they can. The Ice did I also begin using their power to hold

  back the ay Eel. Now leading up to this confrontation, they basically kept

  Rands locked in that trunk pretty much for through of like pretty much date the

  entire time. They would only bring him out of the trunk if they're going
• 2:19:33
  to feed him or punish him. So the sister leading the Ice Eye she's
• 2:19:45
  a Red sister named Galina, and it's also revealed that Galina is a sister

  of the Black Asia. Galina was ordered by Aleida to bring Ran to the

  White Tower by any means necessary, but he needed to be unharmed, and
• 2:20:05
  Galina decided to take some creative licensing with with these orders. So every day
• 2:20:16
  Galina would have Ran beaten because she thinks that because to her, she thinks
• 2:20:22
  that the best way to hint to get Ran to submit to Alida is to
• 2:20:26
  break him. So every day she would have him pulled out and basically torture
• 2:20:33
  him and in an effort to break his spirit. So by the time they

  reached Tartan, he'll be this simpering idiot willing to submit to Aleida's rule.

  And the thing is Rand kind of made things worse for himself because he attempted

  to escape when they let him out. At one point, he tried to

  escape and some of the and some of the warders tried to stop him,

  and he ended up killing one of the orders in the scuffle. This warder

  belonged to responded to one of the Green Sisters traveling with this group, and

  this pitched her off, and so she would also join in join Galina in

  beating Rand's daily because she's taking out her anger and her her grief over losing

  one of her warders. I should point out that of the thirteen sisters that

  were in that got into Kyrine, there was an extra twenty out waiting outside

  of Kyrine with the main force of the Tarbolan soldiers, with the main body

  of the Tarbalan forces. So in total there was over thirty like thirty six

  out, He could not get out. There was always six sisters shielding him

  at any time, so six is more than enough to comfortably shield him and

  break the shield. They had immediately like they had immediately punish him. So

  like this went on for six days, and the I said, I the

  reason why they took they chose this opportunity, this moment to capture him and

  take him to Tarvalan was because they had made a deal with the Shidow i

  distraction by sending a bulk of a large bulk of their forces to march on

  Kyrine to try to take it again, and in response, RAN's forces would

  send a huge contingent to deal with them and keep them from attacking again.

  the bulk of his were distracted by the Shadow, they would capture him and

  take him to Tarmalan. But the thing is, and they promised the shidow

  like power, like you know, they teach the wise ones a few extra

  tricks or something like that, and basically promise them lands, permanent lands in
• 2:23:16
  the west Lands and things like that. But Savannah, who is current,

  who was Kaladin's wife, is now leading the Shadow and This bitch is batshit
• 2:23:26
  crazy. You know, she's power hungry. She forced the Wise Ones to
• 2:23:31
  make her into to acknowledge her as a wise One even though she has no
• 2:23:37
  formal training and she's never and she never apprenticed for them, and also she
• 2:23:41
  doesn't have a single spark of any kind of abilities. So in order to
• 2:23:46
  become a wise One, you need to have some kind of ability like either
• 2:23:48
  be a chandler or a dream walker or there are few they hint. They

  hint that there's other talents that the wise Ones possessed, but they don't really
• 2:23:56
  go much into that, but either way, she leads the shot. She

  convinces the Shadow to betray the Isidye because she herself wants to capture Rand,

  who she holds responsible for her husband's death, and she basically wants to make

  Rands. She wants to marry Rant and keep him under her thumb in order

  to like make the Shadow more strong, more powerful, and lead the Shadow

  against the rest of the Westland and conquer them. But and because of this,

  she leads like a full force of about forty thousand shadow ieel against the
• 2:24:35
  small contingent of the the Isidized Delegation and they immediately attack the Isidai use their
• 2:24:45
  power to hold back the shadows forces. While they're combined forces of Warders,
• 2:24:50
  Tarbalan soldiers and Gallon's young wings all fight, I'll hold back the Shadow.

  They actually do a good, very good job of holding them back. Savannah
• 2:25:03
  convinces the other wise Ones to use their power and use their own powers to
• 2:25:07
  attack the ice Gye, and which is breaking a lot of the wise ones
• 2:25:13
  traditions. Because wise Ones they don't ever get involved in any kind of conflict,
• 2:25:18
  all right, they could be uh like, they could be a part
• 2:25:22
  of two opposing clans that are fighting each other, but the wise Ones will
• 2:25:28
  just all sit together and just watch and be like men look them fighting men
• 2:25:37
  m And then once the fighting is over, they'll just return to their clans
• 2:25:41
  and be all like, oh, well, now what do we learn?

  But because like they they they they really just don't take any They don't take

  any action whenever there's any kind of fighting. And you know, like culturally

  speaking, aill never attack wise Ones. So if they see if two if

  like enemy i I'll see a wise One on the other on the other enemy

  side, they'll ignore, they'll avoid her and not do not lift a hand

  against her, because that's considered dishonorable to uh. It's very it's considered very

  taboo to harm a wise one. But Savannah manages to convince the other wise
• 2:26:24
  ones to join the fight and use their power against the Isidie. She does
• 2:26:30
  this because she had she and a small group of them had been conspiring against
• 2:26:37
  each other, and she convinces the group under directly under her to murder one
• 2:26:41
  of the other wise ones, which is hainous crime, and the wise ones
• 2:26:46
  that helped her murder this one wise one are now in deep with her,
• 2:26:50
  so they basically convince all the other wise ones with the shidout to join in
• 2:26:54
  the fight, because well, if it comes out that they'd murdered one of
• 2:26:58
  their own, are fucked. So they begin using their power. They start
• 2:27:05
  firing fireballs and lightning bolts at the isidy and it does catch the Isidye out
• 2:27:09
  guard at first, but this triggers the isidized stipulation of they can only use
• 2:27:18
  the power in self defense, so they can't they can't use it as a
• 2:27:22
  weapon unless in the fight against the dark the Dark forces and the Dark Friends,
• 2:27:28
  or in the extreme defense of themselves or in the defense of their sisters.

  So now that they're being attacked directly, the isid I immediately start using
• 2:27:35
  their power, and the thing is being better. They have much more training
• 2:27:41
  with the power than the wise Ones do. They do a good job of
• 2:27:46
  holding back both them and the and the shadows forces. Yeah, it's at
• 2:27:52
  this point paren along with his joint forces of two river bowmen, wise ones
• 2:27:58
  that came with their own wise ones that came with them from Kyrine, the
• 2:28:03
  small group of Isidi as well as the group of Tyrene and Kirne soldiers.

  They all twoop in and attack the Shidow. But the thing is is that
• 2:28:15
  their forces only number and about like less than fifteen thousand, So they're going
• 2:28:20
  their force. Their small forces are going up against the Shadow, but they
• 2:28:24
  had the advantage of of of surprise, so they took the Shadow off guard
• 2:28:33
  and attack them on the flank. The wise Ones and the isid I both
• 2:28:35
  began to well, not the Isidye from not the rebel Isidie, but the
• 2:28:41
  wise Ones also begin attacking the Shidow and the Isidy. Since they're not in
• 2:28:48
  the indirect danger, they don't attack at first, only using like only using
• 2:28:54
  their power and support. But eventually the two sisters that are taken charge of
• 2:29:01
  the isid of the rebel group immediate begin leading a charge through the shadow forces.
• 2:29:07
  And the reason why they do this is because they want to take advantage
• 2:29:11
  of their stip of their oath, like they can only use their power and
• 2:29:15
  self defense, and well, what better way to be put in a position
• 2:29:18
  to defend themselves than to charge right into battle. So they do this,

  But they do this because they wanted to get go straight for Rand to to
• 2:29:30
  grab him. And because of this, since the isid I on that from
• 2:29:37
  the White Tower delegation are are very focused on defending themselves from the Shadow and
• 2:29:43
  the wise ones. The six sisters that were keeping him shielded. At first,
• 2:29:50
  they keep they they keep on doing what they're doing right, But eventually
• 2:29:54
  the their forces are getting are beginning to dwe so one by one the sisters
• 2:30:03
  began to tie off their shielding wave around Rand and until there's only three left
• 2:30:09
  shielding him. Now, think about Ran. The little trick that Ran had
• 2:30:13
  figured out was that unless so if he's actively being shielded, like if another
• 2:30:22
  chandler is concentrating on shielding him, he can't really break free because they can
• 2:30:26
  adjust the power of their shield to match whatever power he's trying to use to
• 2:30:31
  break it. But if you tie the shield off, then at that point
• 2:30:37
  the shield becomes stagnant. It stayed at that set level of power that was
• 2:30:41
  woven into it. And so he and he figured out that you can actually
• 2:30:46
  break those shields. He can actually break those shields by targeting the weak spots
• 2:30:52
  and since they're no longer being active, and since power is no longer being
• 2:30:56
  actively funneled into the shield, he can actually break them. So he so
• 2:31:03
  once three so once the three out of the six sisters tie off the weaves,
• 2:31:07
  he begins like digging through like the weak points in the shields, and
• 2:31:11
  he manages to break the three tied off shields. And at that point he's
• 2:31:16
  now he's now at the point where he can easily break the shields of the
• 2:31:20
  other three sisters still actively shielding him. So when he breaks the last tied
• 2:31:28
  off shield, he immediately breaks the other the shield from the other three sisters,
• 2:31:35
  and see he seizes the power, reaches out with his own power,
• 2:31:39
  grabs all three sisters, and it describes as him grabbing them and crushing them.

  Now when he crushes them, he doesn't like actually crush them with like
• 2:31:52
  like a weave of air or anything like that to like physically harm them.

  What he had done was he had grabbed them with weaves of spirit and he
• 2:32:01
  just and he basically crunched out their light. He crushed out the light that
• 2:32:07
  was coming from them. And when he does this, the shields immediately,

  the final shields immediately break from around him, and he uses his power to

  break open the chest that he was locked in and he climbs out. And

  at this point, this dude is pissed. Yeah, So he looks at

  the three sisters that were still shielding him. One had fainted, the other

  one was just staring into nothing like she's like like shit, like in extreme

  shock, and the third one is just screaming bloody murder because what Ran had
• 2:32:46
  done was he had stilled them, so they were all cut off from the
• 2:32:52
  source permanently. And stilling is very traumatic for any kind of channeler, and

  it's just supposed to be like incredibly painful experience. So he basically drove these
• 2:33:05
  three iceidy insane by forcefully stilling them. And he turns his attention to men
• 2:33:13
  he sees that she's still restrained, so he frees her, and then he
• 2:33:16
  looks at the sisters. Hey, he looks at the rest of the ice
• 2:33:20
  sidy surrounding him. Their backs are to him, and he begins picking them
• 2:33:24
  off one by one. And in the middle of the fight, he notices
• 2:33:31
  that like at this point, parents forces managed to push their way through to
• 2:33:35
  get to him, and they form a ring around him. But as they
• 2:33:39
  in the middle of the fight, he notices that there's like flashes of light
• 2:33:43
  appearing in the middle of the fight, and soon Ran notices that there are
• 2:33:50
  more men appearing in the fight in the middle of the fight, men wearing
• 2:33:54
  black coats and they all and some of them have these pins on their callers.

  These men are all channeling and they're fighting against the Shadow. They there's
• 2:34:09
  like at least a little over twenty of these guys. They make their way
• 2:34:13
  towards Rand and they're being led by mazer tying himself. So yeah, so

  just sort of let me take a little quick step back. A few months
• 2:34:24
  after Ran had set Tayme in charge of recruiting and training the his newest shaman,

  Ran returned to them and just to check up on their progress. He

  sees that Aim had recruited a little over a like a couple hundred male channelers
• 2:34:43
  and had begun training them. Uh. Se N was very sad was impressed

  really fully bring himself to trust time. But he sees that Taim did good

  work, and he reveals that he has a new system of he knew he

  has he's going to create. He's creating a new ranking system for the shaman.

  yeah, so Tim had somehow suspiciously figured out that Rand was in danger and

  he could be found at do My as well. So he led a small

  group of his uh of his dedicated and a shaman and came to Rand's rescue.

  So the shaman made their way through began coming through gateways in the middle

  of the battlefield, and they start brutally killing the Shadow I yeld around them

  like they use weaves of air and fire to like you know, boil their

  bodies alive, to like set them on fire. There's firebolts and lightning bolts

  going everywhere, you know, blood Like their heads are popping, their bodies

  are being ripped apart. It's brutal. And they make their way into to

  where Rand is and they form a defensive circle around him. They create a

  weave of air, creating a dome around Rand, completely cutting the Shadow off

  from Rands and so Rand's small forces are like are being protected and time comes

  up to Ran until as you know, after making sure he's all right,

  Rand gives the order to attack. He's like, all right, time,

  little annoyed because when Ran gives him the order, he kind of looks annoyed,

  and he and he barks an order to the a shaman to form a line.

  And when he gives the orders there to raise the uh. They're there

  to raise the shield and allow the shadow to search forward. And he gives

  the order and when he does this, he orders them to form ah.

  He gives out a command which basically tells them to what the a shaman do.

  After they raise the shield and the shadows search forward, they create a

  basically they create a meat grinder, you they use the YEP. So the

  a Shaman, using weaves of air, create these basically like four texts of
• 2:42:58
  like of compressed air that create blades. So you don't see them, but
• 2:43:05
  there's like basically like these whirling like cyclones of air blades. So when the

  shadows searched forward, they run immediately into it and they immediately get torn apart,

  and it was brovedal the Ice, the rebel Ice that I had managed

  to make it into the circle before the shaman h appeared and created their defensive

  line. So the Ice that I are watching this and they're horrified and like
• 2:43:37
  even Rand is like holy shit. So the Shadow are searching forward and they're
• 2:43:43
  immediately getting ripped apart by the by the a Shaman's defensive line. And after

  like it doesn't take long. Immediately, like when the when the a Eel,

  the when the Shadow realized that they're being torn apart by the shaman,

  the ones at the very front began to like stop and they try to turn

  and run away, and they're like screaming like no, run, run,

  But the the ones in the back are still surging forward because they don't know

  what's happening. So the ones that are trying to get away are being pushed

  into the meat grinder and they're getting torn apart. And eventually it kicks it

  sets in like the more has more of the Shadow try to get away,

  the others in the back realize, okay, we need to run, so

  eventually all of the Shadow they dip they're they're they're running for their lives.

  They're terrified. And this was shocking for me because the Shadow, the the

  So it's like an actual ceremonial process of two unrelated women getting closer and becoming

  had already considered Elaine her near sister because they had already become close friends.

  Now, when Elaine tells Avianda that she's willing to share a Rand, Avianna
