- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Fermi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
- 0:13Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
- 0:19Speaker 1: times in the body of Christ.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Then I will cause your voice to be heard.
- 0:25Speaker 1: And all who pay attention to my word on your
- 0:29Speaker 1: lips will not lack light and direction. He's a man
- 0:33Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
- 0:38Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Alright, tonight I start a very brief.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Series. Are you ready for it? Are you sure? It
- 0:58Speaker 2: doesn't look like you are ready. Alright, titled Broken Bones.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Broken Bones. Amen. So it's a new journey and I'm
- 1:15Speaker 2: trusting God to help us. Amen.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I want us to do something. I want us to
- 1:21Speaker 3: pray in the Holy Ghost while I sit here. Something
- 1:24Speaker 3: happens when your spirit is ventilated.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You'll be able to assimilate more. Is that okay?
- 1:28Speaker 3: Pray in the Holy Ghost quickly. Build up yourselves on
- 1:32Speaker 3: your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Pray
- 1:39Speaker 3: in the Holy Spirit. And when you are doing so,
- 1:43Speaker 3: do it with consciousness. Do it with consciousness. To break
- 1:47Speaker 3: into the realm of light.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Light. When light jumps at you. We are not dull
- 1:53Speaker 2: of hearing because we are quickened by the Spirit. We
- 1:56Speaker 2: are quickened of the Spirit. Pray in the Holy Ghost.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We are not dull of hearing. We are quickened by
- 2:03Speaker 2: the Spirit. Please pray. Please pray. Oh, yes. Oh, yes.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Pray in the Holy Ghost. Thank you, blessed Father. In
- 2:24Speaker 3: Jesus' mighty name, we are praying.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Amen.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Alright, let's turn our Bibles to the book of Psalms,
- 2:32Speaker 3: chapter number 51. The book of Psalms, chapter number 51. Alright,
- 2:41Speaker 3: the book of Psalms, chapter number 51.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Alright.
- 2:49Speaker 3: If you are there, say Amen. So I'm going to
- 2:51Speaker 3: read the entire verse. In fact, you need to understand
- 2:56Speaker 3: this passage of the scripture. I'm going to try to
- 2:59Speaker 3: be as simple as possible.
- 3:00Speaker 2: This was the Psalm David wrote.
- 3:04Speaker 3: After the atrocity with Bathsheba killing her husband Uriah. It's
- 3:11Speaker 3: a very profound Psalm. And I want us to hear
- 3:13Speaker 3: his thoughts. Have mercy on me, O God. according to
- 3:20Speaker 3: your loving kindness, and according to the multitude of your
- 3:25Speaker 3: tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. There is the mercy
- 3:34Speaker 3: of God, but there's also the tender mercies of God.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Okay? For the sake of emphasis, let me just give
- 3:43Speaker 2: you the difference.
- 3:48Speaker 3: You see, The system of mercy is the provision that
- 3:52Speaker 3: is made because you could not have measured up.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Okay? Mercy is the provision made because you can't measure
- 4:04Speaker 2: up by yourself.
- 4:08Speaker 3: For instance, 2 Corinthians chapter number 10 and 4 from
- 4:11Speaker 3: verse 1 says, seeing therefore we have this ministry, alright,
- 4:16Speaker 3: having received mercy, we do what?
- 4:18Speaker 2: We faint not.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He said, but we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
- 4:23Speaker 3: not working in craftiness or handling the word of God deceitfully,
- 4:27Speaker 3: but by the manifestations of truth, we commend ourselves to
- 4:31Speaker 3: every man's conscience in the sight of God. But he said,
- 4:34Speaker 3: we have received this ministry having received mercy.
- 4:38Speaker 2: We faint not. All right. So that this holy calling.
- 4:41Speaker 3: That God has given to us, we actually have obtained
- 4:44Speaker 3: a part in it because mercy spoke first.
- 4:47Speaker 2: All right. And that's what the author of Hebrews was
- 4:49Speaker 2: trying to say. Hebrews 4 verse 16.
- 4:51Speaker 3: See, let us now therefore come boldly before the throne
- 4:54Speaker 3: of grace, that we may obtain what?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Mercy.
- 4:57Speaker 3: And find grace to help. I want to just give
- 5:01Speaker 3: you a deal between mercy and tender mercy.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Alright? So, simple illustration. Never forget this one. Mercy is
- 5:08Speaker 2: what you obtain. Alright? In God. Alright?
- 5:11Speaker 3: Because you could not have measured up by your own ability.
- 5:14Speaker 3: It becomes tender mercy even after extending mercy. You fail
- 5:17Speaker 3: to grow He has to be tender with it because
- 5:20Speaker 3: you are young. Do you understand that simple analogy? That's it.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Because the things that David was doing, it is not
- 5:27Speaker 2: for kings now. Proverbs 31. It is not for kings.
- 5:33Speaker 3: He said, Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse
- 5:38Speaker 3: me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions and
- 5:41Speaker 3: my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only
- 5:45Speaker 3: have I sinned. and done this evil in your sight,
- 5:47Speaker 3: that you might be justified when you speak, and be
- 5:50Speaker 3: clear when you judge. Behold, I was shaped in iniquity,
- 5:53Speaker 3: and in sin did my mother conceive me.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Behold, you desire.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Truth in the inward part, and in the hidden part
- 6:02Speaker 3: you shall make me to know wisdom. Purge me with
- 6:05Speaker 3: ice up, and I shall be clean. Wash me, and
- 6:07Speaker 3: I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear
- 6:11Speaker 3: joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken
- 6:15Speaker 3: may work.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Rejoice.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Can we read that verse 8 again together? 1, 2, 3, go.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones
- 6:25Speaker 3: which you have broken may rejoice.
- 6:28Speaker 2: One more time.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Alright, so have a clearer understanding of that statement he made.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Let's look at verse 9.
- 6:39Speaker 3: He said, Hide not your face from my sins and
- 6:42Speaker 3: blot out all my iniquities, creating me a clean heart.
- 6:46Speaker 3: O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast
- 6:50Speaker 3: me not away from your presence and take not your
- 6:53Speaker 3: Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of
- 6:57Speaker 3: your salvation and uphold.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Me with your free spirit.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Then I will teach transgressors your ways and sinners shall
- 7:06Speaker 3: be converted to you.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Are you seeing that now?
- 7:11Speaker 3: The anointing to help sinners come back and transgressors get
- 7:14Speaker 3: it right. It's coming because the bones have been broken.
- 7:18Speaker 3: I'm going to go further into that. Meaning that now
- 7:23Speaker 3: he's not speaking from the point of perfection. He's speaking
- 7:26Speaker 3: from the point of mercy that he has obtained. Do
- 7:29Speaker 3: you understand what I'm saying here?
- 7:31Speaker 2: There is little you can do in your own self-perception
- 7:34Speaker 2: and perfection. Let me say this to you.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Anything you want to do under God that you feel
- 7:41Speaker 3: 100% qualified for, you will not do it well.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I've given this simple illustration. Go and check.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Campus fellowships, any ministry, the moment they are ordaining somebody
- 7:55Speaker 3: into position, and both the person and the church feels
- 8:00Speaker 3: this is the most qualified person, experience has shown that
- 8:03Speaker 3: he will be the most underperforming person.
- 8:06Speaker 2: He will not be able to deliver. Why?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Because what it takes to do God's work is actually
- 8:13Speaker 3: from the anointing you receive by depending on him. What
- 8:18Speaker 3: I'm trying to say is that something must show you
- 8:20Speaker 3: the need for a perfect Savior.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying? Do you understand what
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'm saying?
- 8:27Speaker 3: Something must show you the need for Him. So He said,
- 8:33Speaker 3: when the bones that you have broken rejoice. He said,
- 8:36Speaker 3: cast me not away from your presence. Renew your right spirit.
- 8:39Speaker 3: He said, then I will now be able to teach
- 8:41Speaker 3: sinners your ways. And I've said it. It is not
- 8:44Speaker 3: everybody that opens the Bible. That can help sinners come back.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Nah. Alright.
- 8:53Speaker 3: You'll just be preaching over the head of the people.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question. What has God delivered
- 8:58Speaker 3: you from? What has God saved you from? Those are
- 9:04Speaker 3: the areas of your broken bones. Do you understand what
- 9:07Speaker 3: I'm saying? I'm going somewhere.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Alright. This is a very deep passage of scripture. Alright. Alright.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Verse 13 says, Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and sinners shall be converted to you.
- 9:20Speaker 2: He said, Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God.
- 9:25Speaker 3: You, God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing
- 9:29Speaker 3: aloud of your righteousness.
- 9:31Speaker 2: O Lord, open you my lips, and my mouth.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Shall flow forth your praise. For you desire. Now, he
- 9:39Speaker 3: now began to enter into some serious matter. this part
- 9:46Speaker 3: alright please listen look at what he said in verse
- 9:50Speaker 3: 16 he said you do not desire sacrifice else I
- 9:53Speaker 3: would have given it you delight not in burnt offering
- 9:59Speaker 3: but Remember what God told Saul through Samuel?
- 10:03Speaker 2: He said that obedience is better than what? Sacrifice.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Alright, so he said, give us this scripture in message.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Is there a message translation now? From verse 16 now.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Psalm 51 from verse 16, message translation. Alright, look, I
- 10:17Speaker 3: want you to look at what he said. He said,
- 10:19Speaker 3: going through the motions doesn't please you. A flawless performance
- 10:23Speaker 3: is nothing to you. Somebody is coming before God and say, God,
- 10:29Speaker 3: look at my righteousness.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Look at my life.
- 10:31Speaker 3: See how that I've never failed you before. I've never
- 10:33Speaker 3: lied before. I've never been dizzy for you. You don't
- 10:37Speaker 3: need grace. He said, flawless performance is nothing to you.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Look at verse 17 so you can understand.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I will read it in.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I'm sorry, King James. Alright, then we're reading the message.
- 10:51Speaker 3: He said, the sacrifices of God are a what? Broken spirit.
- 10:57Speaker 3: A broken and a contrite.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Heart you cannot despise. Let me tell you something.
- 11:04Speaker 3: There was a season I was attending a church. So,
- 11:11Speaker 3: every last Sunday or so, we do have Holy Communion.
- 11:15Speaker 3: So we move from our area, then we go to
- 11:17Speaker 3: the zone. We take Holy Communion at the level of
- 11:20Speaker 3: the zone. There was a zonal pastor in that church.
- 11:26Speaker 3: He has a form of something was wrong with his leg.
- 11:30Speaker 3: It was always limping. So the man has a way
- 11:32Speaker 3: of playing the guitar. I sat down at the man.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I observed when this man is talking, he's not shouting.
- 11:41Speaker 3: He's not making noise. But there is a form of
- 11:44Speaker 3: anointing that makes this word hit every spot. I cannot explain.
- 11:50Speaker 3: When you hear that, you are hearing the voice of brokenness.
- 11:56Speaker 3: The contact point of grace is that place that is broken.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 12:07Speaker 3: If you ask me, who is the greatest human being
- 12:10Speaker 3: I've met in my life? I think it's one particular guy.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Years back, my NGO that I run, we're going to
- 12:18Speaker 3: have an award. We're going to have an award presentation
- 12:21Speaker 3: for different other NGOs that were doing things similar to
- 12:25Speaker 3: what we're doing. We invited them. There was this guy,
- 12:29Speaker 3: I just invited the guy. I said, I've been seeing
- 12:31Speaker 3: him on Facebook. And then we checked what they were doing,
- 12:34Speaker 3: analyzed it, and then ran through the table, saw that
- 12:38Speaker 3: they were qualified for the award, invited them to come
- 12:41Speaker 3: for the meeting. when I met this guy face to face,
- 12:47Speaker 3: I had to excuse myself before him to go and cry.
- 12:52Speaker 3: There is something powerful about people who are not blinded
- 12:57Speaker 3: by their own light. There is something powerful about people
- 13:03Speaker 3: who are at the end of their own rope.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Let me explain what I'm saying.
- 13:11Speaker 3: If you look at the letter that Jesus sent through
- 13:13Speaker 3: the angels of the seven churches, the letters that were sent,
- 13:18Speaker 3: the church in Smyrna, the church in Pergamos, the church
- 13:21Speaker 3: in Thyatira, the church in Laodicea, the church of Ephesus,
- 13:24Speaker 3: and all the churches, you will discover that before he
- 13:29Speaker 3: rebuked the rest, he talked about the reputation they have
- 13:32Speaker 3: about themselves. The only church that was not rebuked was
- 13:37Speaker 3: the church in Smyrna. Give me that scripture. Revelation chapter
- 13:41Speaker 3: number 2. Let's look at their orientation.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Listen to what I'm saying.
- 13:45Speaker 3: If you can get this particular teaching right, people will
- 13:50Speaker 3: not be able to understand where the flow of grace
- 13:53Speaker 3: is coming from in your life.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying? Can they give me
- 13:57Speaker 2: that scripture? Alright, look at it. It said, write this
- 13:59Speaker 2: to Smyrna, to the angel of the church. The beginning
- 14:03Speaker 2: and the ending. Alright. The first and the final one.
- 14:08Speaker 2: The ones dead.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Can you give me this in King James translation? Let's
- 14:12Speaker 3: make it very fast. Alright, dead and alive. Yes, verse
- 14:16Speaker 3: 9 now. He said, I know thy works and thy
- 14:19Speaker 3: tribulation and thy poverty, but you are rich. Many people
- 14:26Speaker 3: don't know that spiritual poverty is the highest form of wealth.
- 14:31Speaker 3: And that's why he said, blessed are the poor in spirit.
- 14:35Speaker 2: They are the ones that will see God. Alright? Listen.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Let me tell you the secret.
- 14:45Speaker 3: People tell me, I've seen people, friends, people call me
- 14:49Speaker 3: and say, what is happening? When you teach, where is
- 14:52Speaker 3: this thing coming from? I tell them. I say, every
- 14:55Speaker 3: time I want to teach, I'm in tears before God.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I am not coming as one who have a personal revelation.
- 15:04Speaker 3: My heart still skips. It is coming from the point of,
- 15:09Speaker 3: except you help me, I will be a sounding cymbal,
- 15:13Speaker 3: clinking cymbal before the people. Your greatest strength must become
- 15:19Speaker 3: nothing for life to flow. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 15:26Speaker 3: Let's go back to Psalm 51. Look at what David was.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Saying. They believed they were poor. Jesus said, you are rich.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You are rich. Look at what he told the Laodicean people.
- 15:36Speaker 2: He said, you would think you are rich people. He said,
- 15:37Speaker 2: you are very wretched. Go and check. Even when it
- 15:45Speaker 2: comes to music. I love good music. Okay.
- 15:51Speaker 3: But the power to bet a sound that will vibrate
- 15:56Speaker 3: through the entire world.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's not in riffs and rounds. Do you understand what
- 16:02Speaker 2: I'm saying?
- 16:03Speaker 3: It is not in rips and rams. If you can
- 16:05Speaker 3: do it, fantastic. But that strength must become nothing for
- 16:10Speaker 3: his own strength to flow.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Do you understand that? We are going somewhere.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Alright, he said, the sacrifice of God I want broken
- 16:16Speaker 3: spirit and a contrite heart. It means, he said, O Lord,
- 16:20Speaker 3: you will not despise. That is, anywhere God sees brokenness,
- 16:22Speaker 3: he can't take off his eyes. Look at that same
- 16:26Speaker 3: 17 in Message Translation.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Quickly.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Alright, he said, look at it. Can we read this together? 1, 2, 3, go.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I learned God worship when my pride was.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Alright. So when he said the bone that you have broken.
- 16:39Speaker 2: What is he saying?
- 16:40Speaker 3: Something happened to me that broke my pride. Do you
- 16:43Speaker 3: understand what I'm saying?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Listen. Listen.
- 16:51Speaker 3: It is possible not to allow God have his way
- 16:54Speaker 3: in your life. But you will still be successful. So
- 16:59Speaker 3: this is not about success. You can be in rebellion
- 17:04Speaker 3: and still be successful.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:08Speaker 3: But if you are going to become what God wants
- 17:10Speaker 3: you to become, He will have to conquer you.
- 17:16Speaker 2: If what you want to pursue is more money, get married,
- 17:21Speaker 2: have children, no problem. That is stable matters.
- 17:27Speaker 3: But if it is the route of everything you Lord
- 17:30Speaker 3: have in stock for me, you will have to go
- 17:34Speaker 3: this route. In fact, the moment you sign up for
- 17:38Speaker 3: that route, the first thing that will happen is that
- 17:41Speaker 3: it will look like from the day you said yes,
- 17:43Speaker 3: you began to retrogress. Look at what Daniel said now.
- 17:48Speaker 3: They said, allow us to eat pulse. If you understand
- 17:53Speaker 3: what it means, legumes and water. Some people say beans
- 17:57Speaker 3: and water. He said, check us after 10 days. You
- 18:00Speaker 3: signed up to follow God. You start comparing yourself with
- 18:02Speaker 3: your colleagues the same day.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying? God, I'm going to
- 18:09Speaker 2: follow you.
- 18:09Speaker 3: The 10 days is God's appointed season.
- 18:15Speaker 2: That 10 days may be 10 years.
- 18:17Speaker 3: If they come in the night day, everybody will say,
- 18:23Speaker 3: look at you, we have left you behind. But when
- 18:25Speaker 3: that hand comes, the man will outrun those who are unchartered.
- 18:34Speaker 2: In this kingdom, we are not fast by running. We
- 18:39Speaker 2: are fast by waiting. What are we waiting for? The hand.
- 18:47Speaker 3: When you sign up, that's why I'm giving caution.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Okay? I'm giving caution.
- 18:55Speaker 3: But the moment you sign up that this is the
- 18:58Speaker 3: life I've chosen, it will start from you being behind it.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It is the principle.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Except a grain of wheat first falls down and dies.
- 19:06Speaker 3: And what people don't know is that death is part
- 19:08Speaker 3: of progress. You allow people to mourn too soon and
- 19:14Speaker 3: you join them to mourn yourself.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Look at my life. Self-pity. Look at what I've become.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Did you know what I finished with in school? Allow
- 19:21Speaker 2: it now.
- 19:23Speaker 3: There is a difference between the grain of corn that
- 19:26Speaker 3: is sown and the one that is on the shelf.
- 19:29Speaker 2: When they are done eating that one, this one is
- 19:31Speaker 2: still producing for generations.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Let me say this to you. Your life is either
- 19:36Speaker 3: like wine or like milk. Milk gets spoiled with time.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Wine gets better with time. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 19:48Speaker 3: You don't understand. You have everything right in front of you. Plans, purpose, pursuit,
- 19:55Speaker 3: everything is clear. I know what to call. They will
- 19:58Speaker 3: fix me here, they will fix me there. I can
- 20:00Speaker 3: get this settled, this, this, this. I don't have any issue.
- 20:03Speaker 3: My uncle is this, this, my sister is this, this.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I will call them. Then God, in the midst of that,
- 20:09Speaker 3: Now say don't. David is saying there is a dimension
- 20:15Speaker 3: of worship that flows when that thing I rely on
- 20:18Speaker 3: is shattered. Let me tell you what it means to
- 20:24Speaker 3: be blessed. The blessing is anything and any situation that
- 20:31Speaker 3: leaves you with God as your last option. The kind
- 20:41Speaker 3: of Christianity we are doing, that there are other options,
- 20:47Speaker 3: God is just part of them. We have not started.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying? Let me give you
- 20:53Speaker 3: an illustration now. You are a young girl, 26, 27.
- 20:58Speaker 3: You've been dating this guy for 3, 4 years.
- 21:01Speaker 2: This is it. Marriage. Next thing.
- 21:04Speaker 3: When you are preaching or teaching young people about relationships,
- 21:09Speaker 3: There is a level of arrogance you will speak with
- 21:11Speaker 3: because yours is settled.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Two months to introduction, the guy serves you breakfast.
- 21:20Speaker 3: They now call you to come and speak to young
- 21:23Speaker 3: people about relationship again.
- 21:25Speaker 2: It is from these broken bones that the grace to
- 21:29Speaker 2: be a speaker now comes.
- 21:31Speaker 3: The one you were saying before, you were just blabbing.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? There is a difference
- 21:37Speaker 3: between the ones you are boasting about because you have advantage.
- 21:41Speaker 3: When your advantages are taken, that's where messages start from.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? That's what we are
- 21:48Speaker 3: talking about. So suddenly now they serve you breakfast.
- 21:53Speaker 2: You go and cry.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Because before, when you talk to people about relationship, you say,
- 22:00Speaker 3: make sure you dress well. You have done everything. Guys
- 22:03Speaker 3: know the show. Do you understand what I'm saying? When
- 22:06Speaker 3: all your formulas are no longer working, that is when
- 22:10Speaker 3: you find God. The men of us have plenty of formulas.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Have you tried this?
- 22:19Speaker 2: This one. I tried this then. Okay.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Sometimes it takes a lifetime for a man to come
- 22:26Speaker 3: to the end of his rope. I think the most
- 22:30Speaker 3: difficult thing for God to achieve in a man's life
- 22:33Speaker 3: is to meet the man at the end of himself. Like,
- 22:36Speaker 3: for a man to say, I'm tired, I'm done. Like,
- 22:40Speaker 3: I'm done now. I've tried all my efforts. Nothing is working.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Alright?
- 22:46Speaker 3: I'm at the end of myself now. Say, what type
- 22:50Speaker 3: of relationship matters?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Say, we are trusting God. This same guy, two months ago,
- 22:57Speaker 2: just been licking his lips. It's by bending. Bending. He
- 23:03Speaker 2: wanted to go and ask a girl out. He believed
- 23:06Speaker 2: that he had swept the girl off her feet. By
- 23:08Speaker 2: the time he gets there, he gets at you. You
- 23:11Speaker 2: are not even in my thoughts. He is not your kind.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Are you following what I am saying here? When you
- 23:18Speaker 3: get to such end of the road, that is where
- 23:22Speaker 3: you find God. Let me show you a scripture.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Genesis chapter number 19. Are you following what I am
- 23:29Speaker 2: saying here? Let me show you something.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Genesis chapter number 17. What I'm trying to show you
- 23:39Speaker 3: is that what God is trying to do with your life.
- 23:45Speaker 3: If we can get this. If we can get this.
- 23:51Speaker 3: We can go and start dancing. Because you have a
- 23:56Speaker 3: major key. Look at what the Bible is saying. Genesis
- 23:59Speaker 3: chapter number 17. When Abraham was 90 years old and nine,
- 24:04Speaker 3: then God appeared to him and said, I am the
- 24:07Speaker 3: almighty God.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Walk before me and be perfect. God could not say
- 24:14Speaker 2: this when he was in his 70s because then.
- 24:18Speaker 3: He was following God. But there was the option of Aga,
- 24:24Speaker 3: the servant girl. Ishmael was around the corner. So all
- 24:30Speaker 3: those things were happening. But the moment he got to
- 24:33Speaker 3: a stage where, listen to what I'm saying.
- 24:36Speaker 2: The faith journey of.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Abraham and Sarah began when it ceased to be with
- 24:41Speaker 3: Sarah after the manner of women. Isaac is not bettered
- 24:51Speaker 3: when you are still having menstrual flow. Isaacs are bettered.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? Isaac is God making
- 25:04Speaker 3: a statement, I gave this one. That kind is not
- 25:09Speaker 3: bettered when both God and doctors are arguing that we
- 25:13Speaker 3: did it. What I'm trying to show you is that
- 25:18Speaker 3: all that God has been trying to do is to
- 25:20Speaker 3: get you to the end of your road. And then say,
- 25:25Speaker 3: are you tired?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Are you tired? Have you discovered that you are not
- 25:28Speaker 2: that smart? Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Have you discovered that you are not that intelligent? Have
- 25:35Speaker 3: you discovered that you are not as handsome as you think?
- 25:39Speaker 3: Having discovered that, come and learn my ways. Alright, and
- 25:45Speaker 3: that's what the Bible is saying. The book of Matthew
- 25:47Speaker 3: chapter number 5. Matthew 5, 3 message translation. Matthew 5, 3,
- 25:52Speaker 3: message translation. Blessed are the poor in spirit. Let's read
- 25:55Speaker 3: it together. 1, 2, 3, go. You are blessed when
- 25:58Speaker 3: you are at the end of your rope. With less
- 26:02Speaker 3: of you, there is more of Ask your neighbor, when
- 26:09Speaker 3: will you be tired? Are you following what I'm saying?
- 26:15Speaker 2: When will you get tired? Listen. Listen.
- 26:21Speaker 3: The first bone God broke in the Bible was the
- 26:24Speaker 3: ribs of a man. And it was the issue of marriage.
- 26:28Speaker 3: God could not achieve it without Adam sleeping. Let's look
- 26:36Speaker 3: at all the things that happened when he was asleep.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Number one, God broke the ribs. Number two, God closed
- 26:41Speaker 3: the side back. Then God finished his work. If you
- 26:47Speaker 3: are awake when God is walking, you will hijack the
- 26:50Speaker 3: woman when God is not done.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Give me like that. I'm 27 now. This is my plan.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Go to sleep.
- 27:07Speaker 3: A lot is achieved when you sleep. A lot is
- 27:11Speaker 3: achieved when you enter into a rest. agitation brings nothing
- 27:18Speaker 3: so you are blessed when you are at the end
- 27:21Speaker 3: of your rope with less of you there is more
- 27:23Speaker 3: of God and of his rule something happened when Abraham
- 27:31Speaker 3: clocked 99 one of the things that happened was that
- 27:37Speaker 3: there is a way brokenness will make you more hospitable
- 27:44Speaker 3: go and check Anybody who is not given to hospitality
- 27:48Speaker 3: feels they don't need anything from anybody.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I want to say this. I stand to be corrected,
- 27:58Speaker 2: but I say it based on personal observation. It's not
- 28:01Speaker 2: a doctrine.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Some of the most hospitable people I have seen are
- 28:06Speaker 3: those trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Do
- 28:13Speaker 3: you know what it means to trust God for the
- 28:15Speaker 3: fruit of the womb? Okay, don't let's even stay there
- 28:19Speaker 3: because it's a sensitive matter. Do you know what it
- 28:21Speaker 3: means to wait on God? For something that you know
- 28:25Speaker 3: that part of the option is that it may never come.
- 28:35Speaker 3: If you listen to what I'm saying, if you are
- 28:38Speaker 3: waiting on God, let's say for instance, as a man,
- 28:40Speaker 3: you are waiting on God for a life partner.
- 28:45Speaker 2: All right? That he has ordained for you. You are
- 28:48Speaker 2: trusting God. Who is this person?
- 28:51Speaker 3: It is not because. You don't have the ability. To
- 28:56Speaker 3: go outside of his will. To ask somebody out. Do
- 29:00Speaker 3: you understand what I am saying?
- 29:02Speaker 2: But you chose. To wait. For him.
- 29:07Speaker 3: To bring his choice. And we don't know when that
- 29:12Speaker 3: will happen. The person waiting on God for a child, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55.
- 29:27Speaker 3: The devil keeps reminding the person every day that are
- 29:33Speaker 3: you aware you may never have a child in this
- 29:36Speaker 3: earth when people are at the hand of themselves like
- 29:41Speaker 3: that you find plenty grace around them let me say
- 29:46Speaker 3: this oh there are things we say just stop because
- 29:52Speaker 3: you agree with many advantages and you think you have
- 29:56Speaker 3: a message Are you following what I'm saying? Somebody was
- 30:00Speaker 3: born in a family where there's a covenant inheritance of prayer. Father,
- 30:04Speaker 3: you are the third generation of a praying family. Say,
- 30:08Speaker 3: I spend time in prayer.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I spend time in prayer. No. Let me give you
- 30:13Speaker 2: an instance.
- 30:14Speaker 3: The fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5, part
- 30:16Speaker 3: of that fruit is gentleness.
- 30:18Speaker 2: True? That gentleness is not the natural one people are
- 30:22Speaker 2: born with.
- 30:23Speaker 3: When you are done exhausting that one, that's when we
- 30:26Speaker 3: tap to the resources of this one.
- 30:31Speaker 2: That's not your ability that you have.
- 30:35Speaker 3: A situation will have to happen that will get you
- 30:37Speaker 3: to the end of your serving that, that you will
- 30:39Speaker 3: now learn prayer in the midst of tribulations. When you
- 30:43Speaker 3: learn that and you speak, you will now speak seasoned words.
- 30:47Speaker 3: That's when you'll be able to do like David, that
- 30:49Speaker 3: now I can teach sinners your ways. You can't before
- 30:53Speaker 3: until your bones are broken.
- 30:55Speaker 2: But listen, we're going somewhere. All right?
- 30:58Speaker 3: All that I'm trying to do is to bring you
- 31:00Speaker 3: into the introduction. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Is somebody being blessed by what I'm teaching? Is this
- 31:04Speaker 3: simple enough?
- 31:06Speaker 2: Alright. Let me show you a passage of scripture. There's
- 31:11Speaker 2: a story. Tonight, I just want to walk you through
- 31:15Speaker 2: a story. Okay? A story.
- 31:19Speaker 3: And from that story, we are going to touch many things.
- 31:24Speaker 3: And that is the story of this very amazing young man, Jacob.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Very fascinating story. So I want us to check something together.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Turn your Bibles to the book of Matthew chapter number 32.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Matthew chapter number 32. Before I begin to read this
- 31:49Speaker 3: passage of scripture, I want to give a background description.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Of what Jacob represents. Are you with me now? Jacob
- 31:59Speaker 2: was that guy. That what went ahead of him. That
- 32:04Speaker 2: the elder brother. Will serve him. And the way he
- 32:08Speaker 2: lived his life. It was clear. That he got the gist. Alright.
- 32:14Speaker 3: It was clear that he got the gist. And he
- 32:16Speaker 3: tried to get it. By his own human effort. Jacob represents.
- 32:24Speaker 2: A very smart young man who is afraid of being
- 32:28Speaker 2: left behind.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. Anywhere you see pride, there
- 32:38Speaker 3: is fear. A proud man is afraid. That's why he
- 32:42Speaker 3: sings his own song so that history can favor him.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying? That if I blow
- 32:48Speaker 3: my own trumpet, everybody will know I'm a powerful man.
- 32:50Speaker 3: I will not wait for people to talk about me.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Let me do it.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Anybody who is proud is what? Afraid.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Anybody who is rude is scared. Rudeness is a lazy
- 33:00Speaker 3: man's way of showing strength. Because he can't measure up emotionally.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Alright?
- 33:05Speaker 3: So it's this young man that was afraid. He was
- 33:08Speaker 3: doing the things he was doing because he was afraid.
- 33:11Speaker 3: The mother somehow had given him the genes. Your brother
- 33:13Speaker 3: will do this.
- 33:14Speaker 2: He was afraid. So he said, give me your birthright.
- 33:16Speaker 2: You take this food. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 33:22Speaker 3: He was scared, alright, that if he doesn't find his
- 33:25Speaker 3: way to get the blessing, he may never be remembered. Alright?
- 33:31Speaker 3: He was a young smart boy, alright, doing all he could, alright,
- 33:36Speaker 3: to be relevant.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 33:41Speaker 3: Alright, this same guy requested for the birthright from the
- 33:45Speaker 3: brother in exchange for food.
- 33:48Speaker 2: He and the mother agreed together. And deceived their father. Alright.
- 33:52Speaker 2: And he obtained. A word from the father. And he
- 33:55Speaker 2: ran away. Never to see both the mother and the
- 33:58Speaker 2: father again. Okay. It was just someone.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Doing all he could to survive. Just trying to survive.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Trying to run the street.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Okay.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:20Speaker 3: God was also on the other hand, trying to get
- 34:25Speaker 3: him to a point where he could get him to
- 34:27Speaker 3: enter the blessing that was on his lineage. But the
- 34:31Speaker 3: more God was trying, the more his effort was delaying it.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 34:36Speaker 3: When you read the story of Esau and Jacob and
- 34:43Speaker 3: the father, when you read that moment where the father
- 34:46Speaker 3: said to Esau.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Go and bring me the venison. I want to bless
- 34:50Speaker 2: you then die.
- 34:53Speaker 3: What you will think in your natural human mind is
- 34:56Speaker 3: that if Jacob did not.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Interrupt that flow, the father will give the blessing to Esau.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Is God's hand that short?
- 35:07Speaker 3: Was it not the same Jacob that was going to
- 35:09Speaker 3: bless the sons of Joseph? At the last moment, God
- 35:14Speaker 3: said he should what?
- 35:15Speaker 2: Cross the hand. The issue is that When what.
- 35:19Speaker 3: God has promised. Look like it is slipping off your hands.
- 35:22Speaker 3: That is the exact time.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Fate is known. Do you understand what I am saying?
- 35:27Speaker 2: When it is clear. I may never have this thing again.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Let me give you an illustration of that. I want
- 35:36Speaker 2: to give you an illustration. Imagine. Look at this situation. Alright.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Look at this situation. God told you.
- 35:47Speaker 3: That this sister is your wife. Two months after God
- 35:53Speaker 3: said that, you didn't even know how to go and
- 35:54Speaker 3: meet her. You are just becoming friends, just gisting. This
- 35:56Speaker 3: is all these brothers that will be talking on WhatsApp.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Then the sister just sent a message to you. Please
- 36:04Speaker 2: pray along with me.
- 36:05Speaker 3: I'm having introduction with my fiancée. The first thing that
- 36:12Speaker 3: will happen is that saliva will dry from your mouth.
- 36:15Speaker 2: You are confused. You are sweating. You are all that.
- 36:18Speaker 3: She noticed that he didn't reply on time. And he
- 36:21Speaker 3: replied with, oh praise God. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 36:27Speaker 3: And then, maybe somehow you are expecting that when they
- 36:31Speaker 3: go for the introduction, they did the introduction clean and clear.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Everything happened.
- 36:38Speaker 3: And in your sincerity, you went back to God. He
- 36:43Speaker 3: did not say no, he didn't say yes. When God
- 36:47Speaker 3: has spoken, and situations are happening contrary to what he said,
- 36:50Speaker 3: And he did not speak again.
- 36:52Speaker 2: He is saying I am seeing where I was. Do
- 36:55Speaker 2: you understand what I am saying? Listen. It is very
- 37:06Speaker 2: easy to wait. When the wind is not that contrary.
- 37:11Speaker 2: But the moment. Everything happening. Is against. What God has
- 37:17Speaker 2: said he will do. That is when we know men
- 37:18Speaker 2: are faithful.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Even at that moment, my spiritual father has shared the
- 37:24Speaker 3: story himself so I can share.
- 37:28Speaker 2: It.
- 37:29Speaker 3: He had done introduction with somebody else. And God had
- 37:33Speaker 3: told him for over 10 years before that as your wife.
- 37:36Speaker 3: And the person has done introduction. After introduction, they went
- 37:40Speaker 3: to check genotype. They said the thing. They know what
- 37:43Speaker 3: it is. What I'm trying to show you Is that
- 37:51Speaker 3: sometimes God allowed the thing get to the extreme.
- 37:54Speaker 2: To see who you are.
- 37:56Speaker 3: He did the same thing with Abraham now. He said
- 37:59Speaker 3: kill Isaac. He did not talk on the road and
- 38:03Speaker 3: say Abraham you are a good man. It was until
- 38:05Speaker 3: Abraham tied Isaac and raised the knife. To slash his throat.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Then God said don't lay your hand on that guy.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Now I know that you fear me. What could have happened?
- 38:17Speaker 3: The same God is on the throne. Eat the venison
- 38:20Speaker 3: of Esau?
- 38:21Speaker 2: God said no.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Did I not say to you before that this belonged
- 38:24Speaker 3: to Jacob? God can interrupt. Rebekah and Jacob were too
- 38:29Speaker 3: fast because of fear. When you interrupt the process of God,
- 38:33Speaker 3: you elongate your wilderness experience. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 38:42Speaker 2: You elongate it.
- 38:44Speaker 3: You cannot get the result of faith in the energy
- 38:47Speaker 3: of the flesh. you cannot birth an Isaac.
- 38:50Speaker 2: In the flesh.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Listen now when you look at Abraham trusting God for
- 38:56Speaker 3: a child was he impotent but in Sarah will your
- 39:02Speaker 3: seed be called now God has said the seed I
- 39:05Speaker 3: want to give you this is the woman so the
- 39:09Speaker 3: issue was not Abraham's inability to impregnate other women he
- 39:13Speaker 3: could do that every day of his life and it
- 39:16Speaker 3: was proven with Agar.
- 39:20Speaker 2: He could do it. He could do anything he wanted
- 39:24Speaker 2: to do.
- 39:26Speaker 3: But faith now is, I choose to do it your way.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I'm saying the things you are waiting on God for,
- 39:32Speaker 3: you can do it your way. What God honors is
- 39:37Speaker 3: that you forsake your own way to say, I choose
- 39:40Speaker 3: to do it his way.
- 39:43Speaker 2: That's faith. Amen. Say, I walk in faith. Come on,
- 39:47Speaker 2: say it again. I walk in faith.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Alright, so I'm going somewhere with the story, this story
- 39:53Speaker 3: of Esau and Jacob. Okay, so let's turn our Bibles.
- 39:59Speaker 3: We read this on Sunday. I just want to reiterate,
- 40:02Speaker 3: then I show you a few things about this place. Alright,
- 40:06Speaker 3: so if you look at the life of Jacob, you
- 40:09Speaker 3: see smartness every time, trying to outsmart. He's a guy
- 40:12Speaker 3: with so many formulas. He knows the way.
- 40:15Speaker 2: No peace.
- 40:15Speaker 3: There's no rest for him. His head is always calculating.
- 40:21Speaker 3: If this one doesn't work, it will work. If Nigeria
- 40:23Speaker 3: doesn't work, Japan or UK. If UK, not D.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Jamaica or to Australia. You look at all this formula.
- 40:33Speaker 3: The person has options and you cannot see where God
- 40:36Speaker 3: is in the equation.
- 40:40Speaker 2: You can do life.
- 40:45Speaker 3: And you can have an economy that you can even
- 40:47Speaker 3: be preaching about. That is a product of you not
- 40:50Speaker 3: considering God. There is a success that you can actually
- 40:55Speaker 3: get outside God. But good success comes from waiting on Him.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? So this guy,
- 41:03Speaker 3: no rest. Every time agitated. You look at the story,
- 41:06Speaker 3: Genesis 32. When they were going to go and meet Esau,
- 41:09Speaker 3: he has already divided the thing.
- 41:10Speaker 2: He has said, okay, you people should go here. I
- 41:12Speaker 2: will come.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Then another strategy is that we're going to send this.
- 41:16Speaker 3: And then when we send that, it's just like church.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Somebody is planting a church. This person doesn't pray, doesn't fast,
- 41:21Speaker 3: doesn't seek the face of God. Say that by time,
- 41:25Speaker 3: somebody will share with me something. Somebody went to plant
- 41:28Speaker 3: a church somewhere in a city. The person came to
- 41:32Speaker 3: the city with millions of naira. Millions of naira. Listen
- 41:36Speaker 3: to what I'm saying. Millions of naira. The fellow began
- 41:38Speaker 3: to say things like, we are going to take over
- 41:40Speaker 3: this city. We are going to take over this city.
- 41:43Speaker 3: We are going to take over.
- 41:44Speaker 2: When people are talking from their.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Own human advantage, it sounds like faith until that point
- 41:50Speaker 3: of the advantage is broken.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Where was he talking from? We will take over this
- 41:55Speaker 2: city because we have money.
- 41:57Speaker 3: So they will run service and every Sunday they sit
- 42:00Speaker 3: people down and share millions of Naira and say you
- 42:03Speaker 3: people will do this strategy for billboard, this strategy for that.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. The one who came with God,
- 42:11Speaker 3: they will be looking at him ahead. Are you following
- 42:14Speaker 3: what I'm saying here?
- 42:16Speaker 2: Human effort. We run this strategy. At the end of
- 42:20Speaker 2: the day, you spend over 50 million Six members.
- 42:25Speaker 3: People will tell themselves that, ah, when I went to
- 42:29Speaker 3: that church, they gave food chicken, oh, for first time package.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Hostel people, they will tell their people in the hostel,
- 42:36Speaker 2: so you are you.
- 42:37Speaker 3: We will go around another church. If it is not grace,
- 42:44Speaker 3: it can't look like it. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 42:51Speaker 3: It is this smartness, oh, It is this wisdom. It
- 42:55Speaker 3: is this, I know what I can do. I know
- 42:58Speaker 3: what I should do. I know the route. I know
- 43:01Speaker 3: when you come to the end, you will find God.
- 43:06Speaker 2: You will.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Alright, let me quickly show you a few things. Alright,
- 43:13Speaker 3: so he went to meet Esau. Brother Esau said, listen,
- 43:16Speaker 3: I'm blessed. Alright, so keep the things you have brought
- 43:18Speaker 3: to yourself. Now, the Bible said something very profound. Genesis
- 43:22Speaker 3: chapter number 32 says, Genesis chapter number 32 Alright look at.
- 43:27Speaker 2: The story.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Verse 22 The Bible said And he rose up at
- 43:33Speaker 3: midnight And took his two wives And his two women
- 43:37Speaker 3: servants And his eleven sons And passed over The ford
- 43:42Speaker 3: of Jabbok And he took them And sent them over
- 43:46Speaker 3: the brook And sent them over That he had And
- 43:53Speaker 3: Jacob was left alone. And there he wrestled with a
- 43:57Speaker 3: man until the breaking of the day. Listen to what
- 43:59Speaker 3: I'm saying. The fight did not start until he was
- 44:02Speaker 3: left alone. There are situations where you are stripped of
- 44:10Speaker 3: people or people are stripped of you that you will cry.
- 44:13Speaker 3: But it is God positioning you to know him.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying? That point you get to.
- 44:29Speaker 2: That you are left alone. That point. That is alone now.
- 44:37Speaker 3: That point. That point. As simple as we are saying it.
- 44:42Speaker 3: It is a tough point. For many to get to.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Is alone now fasting. Is alone now seeking the face
- 44:49Speaker 3: of God. you can get to that point through obedience
- 44:53Speaker 3: to the promptings of the Spirit, or God allows situations
- 44:57Speaker 3: of life get you to that point. Adversity can make
- 45:00Speaker 3: you be alone. Obedience can make you be alone. If
- 45:05Speaker 3: you would not choose the way of obedience, then God
- 45:09Speaker 3: is not going to bring adversity, but he will permit it.
- 45:12Speaker 3: That is, he will step aside and say that, go
- 45:15Speaker 3: and check him out. The devil, if the priests of
- 45:19Speaker 3: this world had known, they would not have crucified the
- 45:21Speaker 3: Lord of Glory.
- 45:22Speaker 2: See, listen, the devil is a schoolmaster.
- 45:24Speaker 3: When he thinks he's afflicting believers, he's actually assisting the
- 45:28Speaker 3: purpose of God in the life of believers. Anyway, anyhow,
- 45:33Speaker 3: for a man that God has decided to work with,
- 45:36Speaker 3: to be alone is a blessing. Look at all the
- 45:42Speaker 3: life of Jacob. All the life things. The father blessed him.
- 45:45Speaker 3: He went to wonder.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Finally. And Jacob was alone. The moment he was alone.
- 45:53Speaker 2: We found out God couldn't wait. Some of you need
- 45:59Speaker 2: to be alone. Three days. Three days.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Alone with God. Because you are not used to being alone.
- 46:12Speaker 3: It's not your thing. So you discover that when you
- 46:15Speaker 3: come to that point of being alone to read the Bible,
- 46:18Speaker 3: it is weird.
- 46:20Speaker 2: You don't know when you pick your mobile phone again.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Stop it. Be alone.
- 46:26Speaker 3: The phone is a world you escape into. Maybe the
- 46:30Speaker 3: screen is broken now so you can be alone. Maybe
- 46:35Speaker 3: it's now lagging and when you press it will stay
- 46:38Speaker 3: long so you can be alone. Maybe you can't even
- 46:42Speaker 3: afford to buy data now.
- 46:45Speaker 2: So you can be alone. Maybe the network of your
- 46:48Speaker 2: house is exceptionally bad. So you can be alone. Don't escape.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Don't run. Don't dodge. Don't hide.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Don't emotionally hide yourself. God wants to catch you in
- 47:09Speaker 3: the corner. The most beautiful things in our life, they
- 47:15Speaker 3: are bettered.
- 47:16Speaker 2: When we are alone. That's where you will hear clearly,
- 47:20Speaker 2: pure streams.
- 47:22Speaker 3: Many of us are in the midst of noise, agitations,
- 47:25Speaker 3: by this, by that. Too many comparisons on the internet.
- 47:29Speaker 3: People who are ahead, those who are behind. And you
- 47:31Speaker 3: forget that people post their best on the internet. And
- 47:35Speaker 3: you feel you are behind in God's purpose because you
- 47:37Speaker 3: are not alone. Comparing themselves with themselves, they become fools.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Because you are not alone.
- 47:45Speaker 2: The instruction God has.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. The moment there is a
- 47:48Speaker 3: pregnancy a Mary is carrying. You cannot carry that pregnancy
- 47:52Speaker 3: to the midst of crowd. You must carry that pregnancy
- 47:55Speaker 3: to an Elizabeth. Who knows what it means to be alone.
- 48:01Speaker 3: There are instructions that will die. Once you take them
- 48:04Speaker 3: to where the crowd are. Even correct instructions will look wrong.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Because it's not at their level of maturity. Be careful
- 48:11Speaker 3: who check what God is saying with you. Particularly those
- 48:15Speaker 3: who are loud. Who are not working in that level.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Of devotion to God.
- 48:23Speaker 2: When people.
- 48:24Speaker 3: I tell people. People ask me. I said see. Have
- 48:29Speaker 3: a structure. To have moments in your life. That you
- 48:33Speaker 3: bolt the door behind you. And throw away the key.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Seeking just one thing.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Light. If you look at the tabernacle of old.
- 48:44Speaker 3: In the holies of holies, there is no light there.
- 48:47Speaker 2: The light of that place is the presence of God.
- 48:51Speaker 3: When you journey away from the noise and the cares
- 48:54Speaker 3: of life, you come to that place where the illumination
- 48:57Speaker 3: you receive is God. If you come out from that place,
- 49:06Speaker 3: you come out with that revelation.
- 49:09Speaker 2: The first thing, go and check. Pray, seek God.
- 49:12Speaker 3: God gives you instruction. The moment you come out, the
- 49:15Speaker 3: first thing you face is adversity. Whose target is to
- 49:18Speaker 3: kill the instructions? You can come out with a major
- 49:22Speaker 3: word for 2024. You just can't tell the reason why
- 49:24Speaker 3: your husband begin to misbehave. Or your wife begin to misbehave.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Or your children begin to misbehave. Because the seed that
- 49:30Speaker 3: fell on the rock is like one that receives the word.
- 49:33Speaker 2: And then the sun comes, which is adversity. But because
- 49:36Speaker 2: it has no root, it dies.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying. Don't just bear shoot upwards.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Bear root downwards. Root is a long journey. Shoot is
- 49:50Speaker 3: in the midst of crowd. Listen to what I'm saying.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Growth is two ways. Shoot and root and what? Shoot.
- 49:59Speaker 2: If you can preach better, they will say you have grown.
- 50:02Speaker 2: It's not true. Root first is that we now know
- 50:05Speaker 2: your prayer time has increased. That's root. Nobody is saying that.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Your study time has increased. That's a root. Nobody is
- 50:13Speaker 2: saying that. Your consecration has increased. That's a root. Nobody
- 50:17Speaker 2: is saying that. Your worship has increased. That's a root.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Nobody is saying that. When you have a root, you
- 50:24Speaker 2: will have shoot.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Many people, for the past 10 years, God has not
- 50:34Speaker 3: been able to get you alone.
- 50:36Speaker 2: If this job is not working, that job.
- 50:39Speaker 3: You have never paused and asked, what will you have
- 50:43Speaker 3: me do? And amazingly, that was the first question of
- 50:47Speaker 3: Paul when Jesus encountered him.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Lord, what will you have me do?
- 50:58Speaker 3: If that's the question you can ask in this season,
- 51:04Speaker 3: what should I do next? What's the next thing Lord?
- 51:09Speaker 3: What do you want from me? I know what it
- 51:17Speaker 3: means to be alone for years. Seven years. I want
- 51:26Speaker 3: to share a bit of my story. To finish campus,
- 51:31Speaker 3: we all had plans.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Had plans. Things we could do. Alright. I had plans.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I was ready to stay high in London. University of
- 51:43Speaker 2: Tropical Medicine. For Masters.
- 51:48Speaker 5: And.
- 51:49Speaker 2: My roommate. That we all were pastors. In that room.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Called all of us. At devotion in the morning. And
- 51:58Speaker 2: he said. I had a vision overnight. And he said.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I saw all of us walking in a vineyard.
- 52:04Speaker 3: And when it was time and everyone was submitting their cutlasses,
- 52:08Speaker 3: he said, you and I came to submit ours last.
- 52:12Speaker 3: And the owner of the vineyard said, we still have
- 52:15Speaker 3: two more years to work. So we separated ourselves, three
- 52:19Speaker 3: days dry fasting, saw the face of God, and God said,
- 52:22Speaker 3: stay with me in this land for another two years
- 52:25Speaker 3: in fasting and prayer daily.
- 52:30Speaker 2: So I began that two years. All right. Because at
- 52:33Speaker 2: some point we got to ask ourselves, how are we
- 52:35Speaker 2: going to survive?
- 52:36Speaker 3: We are men. You know what that means? It means
- 52:39Speaker 3: all our colleagues have gone for service. And they were
- 52:42Speaker 3: uploading pictures. And after service, because I was the pastor,
- 52:47Speaker 3: campus pastor. The people you pray for on campus, even
- 52:50Speaker 3: your juniors have gone. And they are coming back to
- 52:53Speaker 3: that same environment. And they are meeting you there. And
- 52:57Speaker 3: sometimes when you go for their meetings and they preach,
- 52:59Speaker 3: they are stylistically telling others how not to be like you.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Because when you say accept a greater first fall down.
- 53:06Speaker 3: To the ground and die. Do you know what that means?
- 53:10Speaker 3: You don't know any approach until you know death.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Go and check. Go to the mortuary. See how they
- 53:17Speaker 2: treat dead bodies. You will wonder.
- 53:19Speaker 3: There was a time this person was alive. They will
- 53:21Speaker 3: put the person there on the slab. The nakedness is open.
- 53:27Speaker 2: When there is death, there is shame. And it is
- 53:30Speaker 2: part of the growth process. Tell me you are strong.
- 53:35Speaker 2: If you have not faced death. Do you know what
- 53:38Speaker 2: it means to die? Not fainting.
- 53:43Speaker 3: At the point where there is no form of comeliness.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Where people can almost write and put full stuff. How
- 53:53Speaker 3: are the mighty falling? But that's when God is just
- 53:56Speaker 3: inventing a story. And I remember in the midst of
- 54:02Speaker 3: that situation.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Many times I will wake up in the morning. And
- 54:08Speaker 2: this one is saying. We have gone for lectures. We
- 54:11Speaker 2: have gone to work. And I will be in the room.
- 54:15Speaker 2: And I will hold the window of the room. And
- 54:17Speaker 2: shake it.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Loose me now.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Let me go. I am not a lazy man. An
- 54:24Speaker 2: instruction is binding you. You will hear it.
- 54:28Speaker 3: You can't see the one who said it. And you
- 54:30Speaker 3: know you can't jump out. Because you have signed a deal.
- 54:37Speaker 3: And sometimes you go for, are you following what I'm
- 54:39Speaker 3: saying here? What was I doing two years straight up?
- 54:45Speaker 3: Fasting and praying 6 to 6, 6 to 6, 6
- 54:48Speaker 3: to 6. Alright, what was I doing? One time I
- 54:52Speaker 3: tried to teach, God said resign, stay with me in
- 54:54Speaker 3: the place of prayer. I will carry my Bible and
- 54:57Speaker 3: dress with briefcase like I'm going to walk. Dress, tuck
- 55:01Speaker 3: in my shirt with tights. Are you following what I'm
- 55:03Speaker 3: saying there? Talking with Ty. Carry my briefcase.
- 55:06Speaker 2: What is inside?
- 55:07Speaker 3: Bible, book, and Kenneth Egan book, or some other books
- 55:11Speaker 3: I read. I will go and sit down. They already
- 55:13Speaker 3: gave me a prayer room in the orphanage room. I
- 55:15Speaker 3: will sit down there, study the Bible from this decision.
- 55:18Speaker 3: By the time I'm done studying at night, when they
- 55:22Speaker 3: are trying to, done studying and praying, when they are
- 55:24Speaker 3: now cooking for the orphans and the children, they will send.
- 55:26Speaker 2: One of them, go and give pastor his food. Ah,
- 55:31Speaker 2: that is the daily bread. We go again.
- 55:34Speaker 3: The following day. Seasons where you know. That you have
- 55:46Speaker 3: a message. But nobody is hearing it. If you talk
- 55:51Speaker 3: to people in your circle.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Small people. Everywhere is charged. But it looks like there is.
- 55:58Speaker 2: God insisted. The voice will not go beyond this. Because listen.
- 56:02Speaker 2: God is not ready to export a voice of a
- 56:05Speaker 2: man he has not matured.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? This thing wants
- 56:10Speaker 3: to jump out of obscurity. You better be careful.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Be alone. Let God get you alone. Don't think Don't argue.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Just submit.
- 56:36Speaker 3: It's difficult for many people.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Okay. I give up now. What do you want? When
- 56:48Speaker 2: will you be done?
- 56:50Speaker 3: That's the question. When will you be tired? When will
- 56:58Speaker 3: you discover that The race is not to be swift.
- 57:05Speaker 3: And this battle is not to be strong.
- 57:10Speaker 2: When? Do you understand?
- 57:16Speaker 3: The moment one relationship ends, before it ends, you already
- 57:19Speaker 3: have somebody else in your mind as a replacement.
- 57:22Speaker 2: And you don't waste time.
- 57:32Speaker 3: And he rose up that night and took two of
- 57:34Speaker 3: his wives and two of his women servants and his
- 57:37Speaker 3: eleven sons and passed over the four jabok. And he
- 57:42Speaker 3: took them and sent them over the brook and sent
- 57:45Speaker 3: over all that he had. And Jacob was left alone.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Jacob was left alone. Jacob was left alone. No media interruption.
- 58:03Speaker 2: No internet. No phone calls. No disturbance. No friends. Alone
- 58:08Speaker 2: with God. You need it. You need it.
- 58:13Speaker 3: For some of you, this is a call for a retreat.
- 58:18Speaker 3: This is a call for a retreat. You are getting
- 58:23Speaker 3: too many unnecessary notifications. So, so, so, so, so, tag you.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Check.
- 58:30Speaker 6: Check.
- 58:32Speaker 2: You need it.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Ask your neighbor, when will you ever be alone? When
- 58:45Speaker 3: will you ever be without a woman in your life
- 58:47Speaker 3: saying I love you? No relationship and nobody in view.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Like two months, three months, four months, five months, six months,
- 58:59Speaker 3: seven months, eight months, nine months One here.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Let me show you a scripture.
- 59:08Speaker 3: James chapter number 1. James chapter number 1. I want
- 59:15Speaker 3: us to see something. Now look at it.
- 59:19Speaker 2: James chapter number 1.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Let's start reading from verse 3. James 1 verse 3.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Are you there? Are you there now? He said, knowing this,
- 59:29Speaker 2: that the trying of your faith works what? Patience. The
- 59:33Speaker 2: trying of your faith works what? Patience.
- 59:36Speaker 3: But let patience have a perfect work. Ah, they call
- 59:40Speaker 3: something patience. That's to let patience work. Ah, that's not funny.
- 59:43Speaker 3: There's this movie I watch, Zootopia. This cartoon.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Zootopia. In that Zootopia, there was a creature there. Alright?
- 59:53Speaker 2: That creature sloth. When that creature sloth say....
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Have you tried to talk with people who are very
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: slow I say how are you opposed to I don't
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: have time.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: I know why Are you shouting?
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: This is not stammering. This is being slow and meticulous.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: So the Bible now says, this is patience. Now say,
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: allow patience to walk. And this is not just walk.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Let's have a perfect walk together.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: If patience will work, you will cry. But patience now
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: need to do it meticulously. That is when it is done.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Now say, remaining the finishing touches.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Meaning that.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: We cannot follow you if you have not true faith
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: and patience. That is the real faith work. There must
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: be a testimony of.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: A time you waited. Let me tell you something. It
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: is not a work of faith if everything is instant. Instant.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: How do we know Abraham was a man of faith?
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: He waited.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: The moment you cannot wait, it is not faith.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I was going to show you this scripture later, but
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: let me show you now. Hebrews 11.22 Let me show
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: you that scripture.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Hebrews 11.22 I'm going to come back to this issue
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: of patience. Are you following what I'm saying? Are you
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: with me?
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Hebrews chapter number 11. Let me be sure it is
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: that same scripture I want to show you.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Alright. Hebrews 11.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: 22.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Alright. Okay. Let me be very sure. Hebrews chapter number
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: 11 verse 21. Sorry. 21. Look at this illustration I
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: want to give you. It says, By faith.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both the sons of
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Joseph and worshipped, leaning on top of his staffs.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: This is a very serious passage. Let me give you
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: an illustration.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Do we have anything that looks like a staff or
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: a mic stand? Is there something like that here? I
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: need something quickly. Do we have anything technical-wise? Okay, that's
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: a mic stand. I think he's doing a job there.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: But find a way to bring it for me. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: want to show you what this scripture means. For you
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: to understand this, look at the book of Psalms 23.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Are you following me? Look at what the psalmist said
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: in Psalms 23. Psalms 23, alright, look at it, verse 4. Okay,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: let me make it straight now. I want to show
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: you something. Psalms 23, verse 4. Look at what he said.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: He said, Yea, though I walk through the valley of
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: the shadow of death, I will do what?
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: What brings comfort? Your rod and your what? Staff. Let
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: me tell you the difference. There's a clear difference.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: When the Israelites were before the Red Sea, when Moses
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: was going to go and see Pharaoh, what did he
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: carry in his hand?
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: He said, he has a rod. What did God say?
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Throw it down. The rod became what? Snake. Instant miracle.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Before the Red Sea, straight over the sea, the Red
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Sea parted. Instant miracle. Alright? They need water from the rock.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Eat the rock with it. Speak to the rod. He
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: ate the rock. What happened? Instant miracle.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Roads are instant testimonies Staff are those you will enter
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: As a result of waiting Do you understand what I'm
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: saying You don't use staff for prestige You use it
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: for old age The road and the staff The instant
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: testimonies I get And the ones I learned Through waiting
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: The one I entered through maturity I waited on this
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: thing I did not see it I went through a
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: process I got more than what I was waiting for
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: I got a man Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: That is, you began to trust God.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: For your future husband. You waited.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: At the end of the day, God was not just
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: giving you a man. He was giving you a staff.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: So what happened?
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: When the bones of Jacob was pulled out, he leaned
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: on his staff. This one that is now coming from
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: him is what he entered through maturity. The young generation
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: have erred. The fathers have starved. When they speak from there,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: it is not just what is being released. This thing
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: has first.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Made a man. Oh God. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: The same Jacob, the active man, the guy now began.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: What was he doing? He was leaning Ah, when you
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: see the same person who used.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: To jump around, now become so gentle, now become so calm,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: now begin to give advice to the next generation, he
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: has found something.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying there? Say it again.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: When you read that scripture, you will read it differently.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: So comfort is not just going to come through instant miracle.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: The one you wait on God for, and it looks
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: like God is missing, is still comfort.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Say your Lord and your staff. They comfort me. They
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: comfort me. Alright.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Continue back to that scripture. That same James 1, I'm
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: showing you something. That same James chapter number 1, I'm
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: showing you something. Are you following what I'm saying? Is
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: this simple enough?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Alright. Look at it.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: That same James 1, I'm showing you something very, very
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: important then. I want you to follow me.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Alright. James 1. Alright. So, it said... Let patience have
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: a what? Perfect work. That you may be what? Perfect.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: And entire. Wanting nothing. That is when patience work in
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: a person. The person becomes wholesome. Let me say this
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: to you.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: If you are produced too soon. You will not be rounded.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: You won't be well cooked. Somebody Somebody went to post
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: about me on social media. And the person said, you
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: are not, this person put my name, say you are.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Not a man of God. God didn't call you. Fun fact,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: you called yourself. I said, no problem. All right.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: I know the generation I'm speaking to. I just muted
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: the account. Let me not see the nonsense. God said
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: to me, he said, if you mute this kind of people,
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: because you don't want to see, you won't grow.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Ah, I want to grow. I unmuted.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: As I unmuted, I saw the person's write-up. I saw
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: one of my sons had gone to comment under it.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: What you have said is a big statement, but you
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: may be right. As I read that, I said, fantastic.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: Listen to what I'm saying.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: I cannot react. Do you understand what I'm saying? When
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: you stay, this thing whips you. You do not have
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: the energy.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: This energy you have, Something will take it away and
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: it's a very gruesome process.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: You can't do criticism. Just like the military.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: They ask you, what are you afraid of?
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Is it height? Is it water?
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: That thing you fear is your weak point.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: You'll be made to face it till it becomes your
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: strong point. What don't you like? Insult. That's what you
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: will eat. What do you hate? I hate nobody can
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: be rude to me. That thing, that's your next meal.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: you will eat it. Are you following what I'm saying?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: You will eat it till you say, I like it.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: When you come to that point, that's when you are
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: ready to be served. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I'm telling you. Because you can just come out. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Anybody can be loud. But it takes when patience has
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: worked for you to last. You will last. Again, I'm
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: saying you will last.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Alright.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: Lift your hands. Say, Father help me. Lift your hands. Say,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: help me. Help me. Help me. Help me.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Help me to come to the end of myself. My
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: smartness has not produced anything significant. It can be useful,
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: but God needs to help you rechannel it.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Help me. Help me.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: Help me.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Just take one minute and pray that prayer as I continue.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Take one minute. Take one minute. Oh Jesus. Take one minute.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Take one minute.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Pray that prayer. Pray that prayer.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Take one minute.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Take one minute. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' mighty name
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: we are praying. Amen. Alright, please be seated. Let me
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: tell you something. Alright. Last year, September, almost all my
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: social media accounts were hacked and pulled down. We could not.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: We could not open new accounts. In fact... The media
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: team were trying to open an account for me.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: They asked the person in charge, the head of our
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: cyber security unit, they asked him, do you know Femula's house?
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: The moment he said yes, they blocked him off Facebook,
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: locked him out. They said, we need to go and
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: get a letter from the government, this, this, this, this,
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: for us to be able to do. I said, no problem.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Do you know that that event happened when God said,
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: I'm about to project your voice? I'm talking about when
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: God looks like a liar. That you can receive a prophecy.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: And the moment that prophecy came, the opposite began to happen.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: Let me tell you something. Let me tell you this story.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: I was preaching in a medical school. One of my
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: friends came for that meeting. I didn't know what he
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: was going through. He said he knew that if I
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: should come for your meeting where you are teaching, I
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: will get the interpretation for what I'm going through.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I said, okay. So, we sat down in the hotel
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: room when I finished ministering. He said, I got my interpretation.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: What was I teaching on? I was teaching on wonders
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: in heaven. Alright? Jewel 2.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: He said, I will show wonders in heaven and wonders
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: on earth. That's what I was teaching on. Now, he
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: described the situation. Look at this situation. He was privileged
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: to be in a place. I won't mention the place.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: In that place, within the space of one week, Pastor
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: Hiya Adebui, Bishop David Odebu, Dr. Paul Edneche, Pastor Bishop Ibiomiye,
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: In fact, there was a night that the five of
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: them surrounded him and they laid hands on him. When
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: he told me they laid hands on him, I said,
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: your problem just started.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Let me tell you now. Do you want to eat bones?
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: There are impartations that once you receive, what confronts that kind,
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: you will pass it first to enter. This one you
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: are just putting your head. Say pray for me. Be
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: sure now. You want to be enrolled in a school.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Be sure you pass.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I was thinking about wonders in heaven. That is.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: What is a wonder on earth is not wonders in heaven.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Job was a wonder in heaven. That angels were wondering.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: That this guy has lost everything.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: He has lost wife. Lost children. Lost everything. Why is
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: he not denying God?
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Do you understand what I am saying? You must understand
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: when your life is a wonder. At the lowest point
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: of yourself. When you are a reproach to men. And
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: you are in the will of God.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: You are a wonder in heaven. You are a wonder
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: in heaven. Look at that scripture. Ephesians 3.10. Look at
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: this scripture.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: Ephesians 3.10. To the intent that now unto principalities and powers.
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: In heavenly places. Might be made known. By the church
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: the manifold wisdom of God.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Look at this. Give me this in amplified translation quickly.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Look at this same scripture. Alright. Quickly. Quickly. Now look
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: at this. Look at this scripture. The purpose is that
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: through church. Through the church.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: The complicated many-sided wisdom of God. In all his infinite variety.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: An innumerable aspect might now be known. To the angelic
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: rulers and authorities. Principalities and powers. That is God wants
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: to use you. To show a part of his wisdom.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: He wants to use you. To show another part of
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: his wisdom. He wants to use you. To show another
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: part of his wisdom.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: Come.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: He wants to use you. To show another part of
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: his wisdom. When you look at this person. It looks
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: like this person is at the lowest point of our life.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: When we look at this person. It looks like this
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: person is at the highest peak of his life. When
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: we look at this person. It looks like this person
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: is even lost. We don't know what he's doing with
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: his life. When we look at this person. It looks
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: like this person is trying to.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: And yet.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Everybody is speaking an aspect of God's wisdom. Nothing is
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: wrong with them. Just different aspect that has been spoken.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: I am saying that there are physical indices that we're
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: used to judge who that something is wrong with. And
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: people can have those same indices in their life. And
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: according to God, they are fine. If you don't understand this,
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: you'll give yourself certain yardstick that prove that you are
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: in the middle, in the will of God. And when
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: you enter a dimension, are you following what I'm saying now?
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: That you are still in the will of God, but
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: there is no physical.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Thing to prove.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: You begin to cut yourself to sizes. Now look at
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: my life now. Look at what I am now. Because
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: you have placed rationales that are not godly. Let me
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: ask you a question. Did the life of Job communicate
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: the wisdom of God? Are you aware that Job entered
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: trouble because God was boasting about him?
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Hold on. It was the... Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: Meaning that if you ask, this kind of trouble is
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: because of his maturity. However, the nature of the attack
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: was suggested by his fears. You test your most quality object.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: You test, you flaunt what is most quality.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: There was a time in my life that when you
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: enter my room, my biggest asset was my trolley. What
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: did I have in that trolley?
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: My books. I put that trolley close to the door.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Once you enter, look at it. That's my life.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: When you get to the point where God is beginning
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: to use you as a display of what his sons
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: have survived because they love him.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Okay. Please be seated. Hmm. Hmm.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: There's this song.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: I choose the way of the Lord. I choose the
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: way of the Lord. For the way of the Lord.
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: Is the way of wisdom. I choose the way of
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: the Lord I choose the way of the Lord Oh,
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: I choose the way of the Lord I choose the way.
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: Of the Lord.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: For the way of the Lord is the way of wisdom.
- 1:17:13Speaker 5: I choose the way of the Lord.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you, Father.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Alright, that's him, Genesis chapter number 32.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Let me show you a few things further, alright, because
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Before we begin to round up now.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Genesis 32 Are you there now So where we have
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: gotten to is verse what Alright verse 23 And Jacob
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: was left alone And there resued A man until The
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: breaking of the day And when he saw That he
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: prevailed not against him Alright He touched the hollow Of
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: his thigh And the hollow of Jacob's thigh Was out
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: of joint.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: As he wrestled with him. Now. What the angel did
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: was that. He removed the joint of his thigh. Alright.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: And then. He could not stand again. He was limping.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: I'm going to show you a scripture that shows that
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: he was limping. Alright. He could not show he was limping.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: And he said. Let me go. For the day breaks.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: And he said.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: I will not let you go. Except you bless me.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: And he said unto him, What is.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Your name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Your
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: name shall be no more Jacob, but Israel.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: For as a prince, have power sorry have you power
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: with God and with men and you have prevailed and
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Jacob asked him and said tell me I pray you
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: what is your name he too was asking.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: What is your name and he said why is it
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: that you ask for my name and he blessed him.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: There listen oh let me just give you simple plain
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: terms Simple plain terms. When God brings people that carry
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: the grace to change your life, don't tell them, physician,
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: heal yourself. There are people carrying the kingmaker anointing. They
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: can make you a king that they are not. Don't
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: ask them, what is your name? Some of you look
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: at people and size them up and say that this
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: person does not carry the grace to lead me because
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: he's not walking.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: In the dimension I want to walk.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: And Jacob called the name of that place Peniel. For
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: I have seen God face to face and my life
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: is preserved. And as he passed over Peniel, the sun
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: rose over him. The moment he got the change of name.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: The moment he got the victory.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: The sun. You know what that means?
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Visibility. He has been hiding. He has been in hiding.
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: Agitation will hide you. When he conquers you, the sun
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: will rise. The things you were pursuing in the energy
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: of the flesh, they will begin to run after you.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: And when he came out, suddenly, the sun, you see,
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: the Bible could have just said the sun shone. He said,
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: rose over him. He came out.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: Have you seen people that you used to know and
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: they go to the place of prayer and come back
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: and they are different. It was Jacob that fought with angel.
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: It was Israel that came out. It was Israel. Israel
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: was bettered when the strength of Jacob died. How do
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: you say he prevailed just when you have wounded him?
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: When you have pulled his tie out of joint. For the. Listen.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: For the rest of. Jacob's life. Or Israel's life. He
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: was a blessed limping man. Blessed limping man. He cannot
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: lay claim. On getting that blessing. By effort. Because this
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: is the scar. That it took me time to cooperate
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: with God. It took me time. The one you can
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: boast about. You are still Jacob.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Jacob. When he pulls out your tie. And we can
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: see the scar. You say listen.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: It took me time. But it conquered me. I was
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: not that smart. I did not cooperate with him. I
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: don't have what it takes to boast. This is the blessing.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: But this is the scar. I used to borrow money.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: Till they embarrassed me. So I have been there before.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: I'm limping.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: My heart has been broken before. I've missed God's will
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: in a relationship before. This is this car and I'm limping.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: I've hacked somebody out without hearing God was saying so before.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: This is this car and I'm limping. What is this car?
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: The person has blocked you on WhatsApp. They block you
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: on Instagram. Say, this is this car.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: At the end of the day, When you look at
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: your life as a blessed man, your scar also reminds
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: you of the fact that it's not of him that
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: will it, nor of him that have on it, but
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: of God that showeth mercy. Because each of those scars
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: are loud enough to disqualify you for life.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: But it came true.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: How can a nation be better just when a man
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: came to the end of himself? Israel is coming out.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: I said Israel is coming out. I said Israel is
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: coming out. I said Israel is coming out.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Israel is coming out. Look at it.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: And as he passed over Penuel, the sun rose on him. Ah,
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: that sun is going to rise over you. I'm telling you,
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: you are not going to die in obscurity. How can
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: you grow from a home where somebody promised you that
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: you are never going to get anywhere in life? And
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: the instruction God gave you just when you were about
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: getting somewhere in life was an instruction that make that
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: statement true. And as they do family meetings and you
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: join the family meetings, you see down there, you are
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: the reproach they said you would become.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: But the grain of wheat is still in its dead face.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: It will spring back again.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: You will have to choose one Living your life to
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: prove a point that they were wrong or to obey God,
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: you will first prove them right. Then day two, we
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: now come to learn God through your obedience. It is
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: babyish to think when God gives you instruction, everything will
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: look good at once.
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: Some of you, God told you to come to Abuja.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: You don't know why and he didn't say anything.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: When he pulled out the hollow, in fact, what happened
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: to the thigh of Jacob was that the thigh became
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: thin and tiny.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: Because the sinews around that thigh began to shrink.
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: The balling Jacob was the first agile guy. But the
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: prosperous Israel is the limping one. In his weakness, God
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: found strength. And God is glorified in it. And therefore,
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: the king of Israel, eat not of the sinew which shrank,
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: which is upon the whole of his thigh, unto this day.
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: Because he touched the whole of Jacob's thigh, and the
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: sinew has shrunk.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Do you have scars?
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: Scars that have resolved that are the contact point of
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: the anointing? The child That you have out of wedlock.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: That you refuse to abort. Is the hollow of your
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: thigh that is pulled out. When you try to correct
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: some people.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: They will tell you. Is this not your own? But
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: you are carrying the contact point. Of grace. Do you understand?
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: Do you understand that? You carry it. Carry your own.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: You've been praying for people. Receive the fruit of the womb.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: And you are waiting on God for yours. It's the
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: whole of your tie pulled out. And they say, look
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: at you. Do you have speed?
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: When you release words, it goes forth with power. People
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: get blessed.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: But you go back home and trust God for what
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: to eat. It's the whole of your tie pulled out.
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: just when they succeed.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: That's when you succeed too when you succeed he doesn't succeed.
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: At a point in my life i became everything i
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: preached against oh on campus i teach young people Now
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: you have to be serious with your life.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: You have to be vibrant.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: By the time you are done from school, you've got
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: to be able to do this. You've got to be
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: able to do that. And God was quiet.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: He allowed me to preach all those messages till I finished.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: And he said, all those things you have preached, now
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: this is my instruction for you. When God takes you
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: in a route where your message looks like a lie.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: Let me just give you a few examples of bones.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: A few examples. What does bones mean?
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: The bone that needs to be broken represents any form
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: of confidence outside God. Anything you have confidence in, that
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: is not God. Let me give you an illustration. You know,
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: there is a way somebody can promise you that I'm
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: going to send you 250 million naira to start that project.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: All right, and this, this, this, and all that. Somebody
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: has sent you a text message, I'm going to do this.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: The next minute, you are talking with your friends. You
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: now begin to say things like, do you know that
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: people like us can speak things to existence? We are
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: going to see it and all that. In fact, I
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: trust God. Another two weeks, I'm going to have 250 million.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: What he's saying, when they are hearing him, they think
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: they are hearing faiths. He's actually speaking from an expectation
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: from man. That bone will have to break for him
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: to find God. So he will not be lying again.
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: This fellow will face disappointment.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: When somebody now says, I'm going to send you this,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: he will just be quiet.
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: People will be talking. He will just be quiet. He
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: will just be looking and say, we trust God. The
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: energy to talk. It has died.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: God has mastered. Do you know what it means to
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: say God is Lord? A Lord masters a thing. Do
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: you understand what I'm saying?
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: Just when you see the thing is coming close, now
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: begin to speak it. A man of faith is the
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: one who says it when it doesn't look like it.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: Not the one that is already looking at it and saying, this, this, this.
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: It's going to rain because the cloud has gathered. The
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: cloud will disappear. Any form of. And that is why.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: That is why the relationship broke. You saw how long
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: it took you to recover. Because you stopped working with God.
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: And starting marriage. The moment the girl or the guy.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: Took the seat of God in your life. Anybody who
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: take that seat. Is an Isaac that must die. Let
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: me tell you something.
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: Do you know.
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: It is in your best interest. That anybody you know that,
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: you tell somebody you are dating, you say you are
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: the proof of God's love to me. So Jesus is
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: not enough proof.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: It won't work. Ah.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: Anything you don't want to die, don't put it in
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: the seat of God. Let he that eat it be
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: as though he eats not. There is no amount of
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: money that can come to my hand now from experience
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: that can change my mood. Because I discovered in the
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: place of saying, I have hammer. That is when I
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: will hear the voice.
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: Drop it. It's not like I'm playing God. I just
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: discovered that. When it comes, I just say, God, what
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: do you want me to do with it? You understand
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: what I'm saying?
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: One time we bought a car, bought a new SUV,
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: brought the car to the house. I was going on
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: a trip. So we were waiting for the car so
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: I can go. We immediately brought the car. We started
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: trips with the car.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: Alright. I just called my wife. I got to the hotel.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: I lost my vision. I called my wife.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: I said, the moment that car came, did your mood change?
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: She said, no.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: If she had said yes, I would have sold that
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: car immediately. God is not going to give you another God.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: Somebody may say, how is it that tough?
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: Relax.
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: God said to Abraham, go and sacrifice Isaac. your only son,
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: whom you love. You say, what about Ishmael? You don't
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: love Ishmael. God is not a fool now. The one
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: that knows what matters to you. Do you understand what
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: I'm saying? Alright, so bones represent any form of confidence
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: outside God. Look at the case study of Peter. When
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Jesus said to Peter, he said, the devil has desire
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: to sit you like we pray for you.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: Peter said, okay. He said, even tonight, none of.
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: You will be offended and you are going to deny
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: me three times. Peter said, I'm ready to die.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: He was not joking. He meant it.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: Just that the route was different. The moment they came
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: to arrest Jesus, he looked for cutlass.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: Where's my cutlass? And he picked the cutlass.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: The person that cut somebody's ears was not aiming for ears.
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: He was aiming for head. Think about it now. Can
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: you just pick cutlass and cut somebody's ears? He wanted
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: to pull the guy's head out. Then he cut the ears.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: The moment Jesus picked the ears and got me back,
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: it occurred to Peter, this one is not sword fight.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: I'm stranded. He ran. His confidence was in this word.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: Some trust in horses. Others in chariots. But we will
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: put our trust in the name of the Lord. When
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: he saw that this is not my own method. He ran.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: When he ran. A small girl said.
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: Peter.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Peter. Peter. Come, come, come. This is one of them.
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: I know this one, Peter. He was the one stopping
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: that guy when he was saying, Jesus, have mercy on me.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: He almost slapped that guy. I know this man. Peter said,
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: if I know I might die. The Bible said, he
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: began to swear. After that, in one breath, he was saying,
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: I'm ready to die. In another breath, he said, if I.
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: Would we have believed that Peter Will be swearing about
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: not knowing Jesus.
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: Because the confidence. Was taken. The bone was broken.
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: Your bone represent. The bone that needs to be broken.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: Represent anything you lean on.
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: Outside God.
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: That is even when you are in the ministry. And
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: say these are the highest givers in the ministry. And
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: the movers of things in the ministry. That bone will
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: have to break. God is the one who builds.
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: His church. Are you following what I am saying here?
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: Very very important. In fact, let me tell you something.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: Your salary can be a bone that needs to break
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: once your salary becomes your confidence. That's the reason why
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: as God elevates you, you struggle with it. It's a
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: psychological thing. It becomes big in your mind. Are you
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: following what I'm saying here? It's a bone that needs
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: to break. When are you going to say, don't worry,
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: that project I planned for the end of the month.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: You have deleted God from the equation of the blessing.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: You have put your salary there. Do you understand what
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: I'm saying?
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: When are you going to do this month ending? They
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: call you from home.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: When are you going to do this month ending? As
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: if God doesn't exist until that money comes by month ending.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: It's a bone. It needs to break. Alright. The bone
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: that needs to.
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: Break represents anything that is conveniently promising you a future
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: that you don't need God for. Anything that seems to
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: be presenting for you a future you don't need God for.
- 1:36:16Speaker 2: It's a wrong thing. It needs to break.
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: Let me wrap up with this. God is never going
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: to give you what you will not need him for.
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: Is there somebody who is blessed tonight? Can I lead
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: you to pray?
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: Are you sure? I want to give you two minutes. Listen.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: Find a spot between you and God. This is the prayer.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: Father confront my life.
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: And check anything you need to break.
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: It's a very serious prayer. Now check me. Scan me now.
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: Scan me through and through. Scan me over and over again.
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: And check.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: Scan me. Scan me. Alright I need to pray that prayer.
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: Scan me. Please pray. Yes, raise that sound. Please pray.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: For some of you, this meeting might be a point
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: of God showing you that I know what I'm doing.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: I know what I'm doing.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: I know what I'm doing.
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: There is a place my.
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: Heart cries out for, Lord. There is a.
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: Place I am yearning for. It is the place where
- 1:37:47Speaker 5: deep calls to the deep.
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: I am overwhelmed by this deep longing Lord.
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: There is a place my heart cries out for Lord.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: There is a.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: Place I am yearning for.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: It is the place where deep calls to the deep.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: I am overwhelmed by this deep.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: Longing, Lord.
- 1:38:29Speaker 5: Take me Lord, to your secret place, Lord.
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: Take me by your.
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: Hands to your holy place.
- 1:38:45Speaker 5: Let me see your face and your glory, Lord.
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: Let me know you more.
- 1:38:56Speaker 5: Then I have known you Lord.
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: Take me Lord To your.
- 1:39:04Speaker 7: Secret place Lord Take me by your hands To your
- 1:39:12Speaker 7: holy place Oh let me see your face And your
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: glory Lord.
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: Let me know you more. Than I have known you Lord.
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: Thank you Father. Oh yes. You are not failing. It
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: is just construction in process. In progress. Except a grain
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: of wheat falls to the ground and dies. It abides alone.
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: You are not failing. They've left you behind. It looks
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: like you are the odd one out. Wait. And let
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: patience have a perfect work. That you may be whole
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: and entire. Wanting nothing. Alright.
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: Lift your hands everyone wherever you stand. I further ask
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: concerning your children tonight. That as you revealed yourself to
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: Jacob in a different dimension. Let everyone under the sound
- 1:40:27Speaker 3: of my voice have a very special encounter with you.
- 1:40:33Speaker 3: Everywhere people have thrown away motivation and they are feeling
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: they have failed.
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: And it looks like they are the hard ones out.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: I ask that you will reveal yourself as the master
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: over the storms. In the name of Jesus. My Father,
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: my God, I ask that there will be a scanning.
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: And you will check everything that needs to be taken out.
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: Of the way. In the name of Jesus. Help your children.
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus.
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: Let this teaching become a message of your own counsel
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: for the body of Christ. In the name of Jesus.
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: We give you all the praise. In Jesus' mighty name,
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: we have prayed. I want to believe someone has been
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: blessed today. Give Jesus a very big hand.
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
