- 0:18Speaker 1: Hey, liam, liam.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hey, what's up?
- 0:21Speaker 1: Guess what Chicken butt.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Chicken butts are also up, I'm pretty sure that's what you have to answer to that every time.
- 0:28Speaker 1: But yes, it is the rule, but we're also on Episode 19,.
- 0:32Speaker 1: But there's an even bigger thing here that I haven't actually told anybody yet.
- 0:37Speaker 2: You're Santa Claus.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yes, I'm Santa Claus.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Just getting that out there for all of you people who don't believe in Santa Claus.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I'm hurt, I am so hurt and you thought Tim Allen was Santa Claus.
- 0:52Speaker 2: No, it's actually Rob.
- 0:54Speaker 2: All right, what's going on?
- 0:54Speaker 2: What are we doing?
- 0:56Speaker 1: So by the time this episode airs, we will have hit 50,000 downloads.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That's, that's good, right, like that's a good number.
- 1:05Speaker 2: That's a good number.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We've doubled since last month.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I mean, I know that's.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I'm not going with numbers, but I know, big number good, big number good, big number good.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Sweet, we know you've lost track of what episode we're on Long ago.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So what are we doing this week though?
- 1:24Speaker 1: This week we're having a call in show.
- 1:26Speaker 1: People from our Patreon are able to call in and ask us questions or tell us their stories, which we would love to hear.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, just chat it up, See what's going on.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I like it.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Do we have anybody waiting that we can?
- 1:43Speaker 1: get in.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so we don't.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Nobody's submitted a thing yet.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I know we got a couple of people in the audience.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Whenever you guys want, you can hit the.
- 1:51Speaker 1: There's a little button at the bottom on the PC at least that asks if you want to call in.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm not aware of any of this, but anyway, I guess while we wait for that, we should just maybe it was just recap this week things that annoyed us this way, things that annoyed us.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You know, I saw a video from Courtney.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh, another one.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yay.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Finally on New Year's she posted a video doubling down on being a food snob, basically to saying that she does the only thing she does I mean?
- 2:27Speaker 2: that's her whole persona.
- 2:28Speaker 2: What else is?
- 2:29Speaker 1: there, Right?
- 2:30Speaker 1: I mean she's walking around grocery stores with a $3,000 handbag.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Oh, it's so good.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Stupid, poor peasants having to find cheap food.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But she was.
- 2:42Speaker 1: She was complaining that the real enemy is the companies behind these cheap foods.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always the company shouldn't be giving them our money.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We should give our money to these other people that you know she endorses and stuff.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Right, that's always kind of my the thing that I have the most trouble with and it's really annoying.
- 3:04Speaker 2: It's just like they'll take like a piece that is true.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's kind of like the Andrew Tate thing, you know where they'll say like a piece.
- 3:10Speaker 2: That is like correct, like these companies do all these terrible things.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It's like, yeah for sure, like greed sucks, it's all about money.
- 3:18Speaker 2: People at the top will do anything to make more money.
- 3:20Speaker 2: So you know like, yeah, they kind of say and then they'll, but then they'll take that massive jump and then be like so we can't give, we can't give them any money and you should only do what I say.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And it's like whoa, that was a big fucking jump you made recently.
- 3:35Speaker 2: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it kind of sucks that they're doing these things, but like it's all people have.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So like, how about you?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Don't make them feel shitty about it?
- 3:44Speaker 2: What about that?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Is that an option?
- 3:47Speaker 2: No, it's not an option.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Okay, bad enough that people have trouble affording food.
- 3:52Speaker 1: We're just going to dump on them while they're trying to scrape by.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's always the cheap things.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Like, oh, I get mad, I got upset with, I kept getting tagged in like Gary Brekhovity.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It was like three things you need to avoid, and I just like it's always the cheapest thing, it's never always like tap water and I'm like, oh yeah, the thing that people can easily access, almost the most crucial thing to their existence, like air than water.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Like those are the two things in that order, like the second most important thing, that's free, that's what you need to get rid of.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It's like man get fucked.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Like really, that's, oh it's.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And the next one, you know it's always like vegetable oils, like, oh, it's all.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Like the cheap cooking oil, cool, like all right, just, I guess we'll all buy fake avocado oil because apparently it's not real either, and so you know you might have to, and expensive bottled mountain spring water.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh, hydrogenated water, or maybe get my stick that?
- 4:51Speaker 2: What if you?
- 4:52Speaker 1: put his stick Motherwater.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Yeah, what if you put his like anilema stick in tap water?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Does that work, or is that?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Is it already the tap water.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Let's get Gary Brekhovity on here and ask him.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like ooh, I want to make money off that stick, but I also want to keep to my principles of not telling people to drink tap water, so like I feel like he'd be torn, you know.
- 5:12Speaker 1: How much?
- 5:13Speaker 2: how much is the money I want to make important to me?
- 5:15Speaker 1: That's always the thing, isn't it?
- 5:16Speaker 1: The instant there's some money involved, they'll bend over backwards, go back on their word, whatever.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously really good at that.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I mean he'll just say whatever people fucking pay him to say, don't matter, yeah, and then like and that's the thing with these people is just like they just throw so much shit out there.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Eventually one video pops off and they'll just like put scary music behind it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Oh man, isn't the scary music great, you know just that, like ominous music, it's always the same three songs.
- 5:45Speaker 2: There's like yeah, two or three, and it's always with those, it's just like.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I mean, I guess it works.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I can't, what am I going to say?
- 5:53Speaker 2: What am I saying?
- 5:53Speaker 2: It fucking works.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So you know, just keep doing it.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I guess I was funny enough.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I was editing the video with Andy our episode seven, I believe it was, and you know, in that we distinctly talked about how bringing up emotions, especially emotions of fear, great selling things.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And so you get that music that's like evil ominous music, yeah, ominous, yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It just kind of already sets the mood for like, ooh, what am I going to learn?
- 6:23Speaker 2: That someone's trying to kill me with almond milk.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And that was the one that was like Dave Asprey.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Like he's like, oh, it's the video you covered.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I was like I don't even know if I want to cover this.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Or it's like, oh, they take a couple almonds and turn it on.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Okay, so then you know, just, oh, it's got all these different compounds.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Like, do you see, recently, james Smith, like he did a video in the grocery store with, like you know, pretending and I'm like pretending to be one of these fear mongers, I'm like this is not far off.
- 6:54Speaker 2: This is pretty much what they exactly what they do.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So I'm planning on trying to maybe do something with that.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Just play another clip that's similar to what he said and be like yeah, no, that's pretty much what they say.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty much you nailed it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: We should just splice together like like everybody's got the.
- 7:12Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that have those making fun of the shirtless influencer in the store.
- 7:19Speaker 1: We should just get like a bunch of them and splice each person together into a long string.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, one person do each one thing, any interval thing.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I'm saying you could like interlude that with like clips for real clips of people being serious, and it's just like this.
- 7:33Speaker 2: You know, this isn't any crazier.
- 7:35Speaker 2: This is exactly what they say.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, awkward pause while we're waiting for somebody to call it.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Maybe All right, no call ins this week.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Forget it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: People don't want to do it.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We're just going to rant about shit that pisses us off, apparently, things we've seen Because I got.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I mean.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I got plenty of.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Chris here in chat.
- 7:56Speaker 1: He can't call in because he's on his phone, but he just wanted to say that I just recently found you guys and I have been loving the content since I'm a firefighter and hopefully soon.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Are you Chris that wrote in?
- 8:10Speaker 2: Probably, if he's calling in here, he's probably willing to call in.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah, the firefighter, paramedic thing, Like oh, I remember that, I remember that.
- 8:19Speaker 2: That's great.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So yeah, this is Chris that wrote in on one of our episodes before.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Firefighter, that's I mean a shout out.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Like I've talked to people who are firefighters.
- 8:30Speaker 2: It seems like they're sitting, oh what are their shifts are like, you know, 800 hours long and they're like the same place and then just waiting and I, yeah, that's, I mean it's a lot.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And though I've talked to him and the drills they go through to stay in shape.
- 8:46Speaker 2: There's like a guy that goes to my gym.
- 8:47Speaker 2: He works in the firehouse and it's funny because he's going to get into powerlifting so he's gaining all this weight, but now he's having trouble doing like the, the basically obstacle courses that they do to stay in shape because he's gaining all this weight for powerlifting.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Right, yeah, I mean that's awesome.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But he would love to know if the moderation can be implemented with his lifestyle, especially since life is expensive, which, yeah, it is Life is, especially if you're in Canada right now.
- 9:16Speaker 1: But that's actually that's pretty great, because we just the other day, we were talking about how we wanted to go back to our roots and talk about how, you know, eating healthy on the road, on the job, when it's harder to to achieve these things.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the deal I'm kind of curious with like fire station, do they?
- 9:34Speaker 2: I'm assuming they have some sort of kitchen in there.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Are you able to like actually cook anything in there?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Do you just have to bring things in?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Because I'm assuming a lot of fire stations they probably just order food in and whatnot.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Right, it's gotta.
- 9:45Speaker 2: It's gotta be something like that.
- 9:46Speaker 2: But if you can, perhaps something like it's it's firehouse, like chili, like they do chili cookoffs for like firehouses, right.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So they gotta have some way to like cook the things.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I'm assuming.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We go to the store for dinner and breakfast usually.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's, that's plenty.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I mean it's you can figure out something for like lunch.
- 10:05Speaker 2: That's not bad at all yeah the like.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I guess the question is what does the store have?
- 10:12Speaker 2: As long as you have like a basic grocery store, you just do this.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Those rotisserie chickens are great.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I mean those things are great, yeah, yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 2: No, definitely what I would do is like try and batch cook something, because I'm sure at a fire station you got a fridge right, like you got to have a fridge.
- 10:26Speaker 2: If you can batch cook something like a chili or you know, your your chicken so you can get the Costco, you know any rotisserie chicken is great, but I mean really like there's.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I mean this is like there's so many recipes out there Like I'm telling you, just go on and just be like recipes with whatever.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I'm sure you can find plenty of stuff.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna do a.
- 10:49Speaker 2: See you know what like live action, I'm gonna do this shit right now there we go.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm going to go online and figure out like what's the you know meal prep in for a fire station?
- 10:58Speaker 2: I guarantee you that's even like I can think someone's written about.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He did say he thinks it's hard since so many guys have different personalities and diets.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So are you guys like all, all ordering the same stuff?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Or like, well, I guess group orders, or try.
- 11:16Speaker 2: We're trying to, like you know there's a whole book, someone's written like a PDF, healthy firehouse recipes.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Holy shit, that's awesome, I'm telling you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I guess.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I guess there should be no surprise there's a book for everything these days.
- 11:31Speaker 2: A Pinterest head there's a whole like fire station meals, wave Osran, cheros, chicken and dumpling recipes.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I mean, that's pretty simple.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Ooh, a lot of this looks really good.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Damn.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Now I'm starting to get hungry.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I'm just looking at all this stuff.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I just like, what, like what appliances and stuff do you actually have at the fire station?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Do you have access to anything?
- 11:57Speaker 2: I'm sure these got the basic stuff right.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Oh, meatballs, oh, do you like meatball pasta?
- 12:02Speaker 2: So do I have veggie or something?
- 12:04Speaker 2: That would be awesome.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It seems like a lot of Wave Osran Cheros.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Do firehouses eat a lot of Wave Osran Cheros?
- 12:09Speaker 2: Because that's what I'm learning from this.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Oh, jumbalaya, bro, you make some Jumbalaya?
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm intrigued and sometimes Instant Pot, like on that note with the sometimes Instant Pot.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Like one of you run out to a thrift store and grab a crock pot, boom, that's like you can just throw stuff in there.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Don't Instant Pot work as a crock pot, can't you?
- 12:31Speaker 2: It's just like slow cook on them.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Sometimes, Hmm.
- 12:34Speaker 1: So I'm saying you know like go grab a cheap crock pot so that you always have it and it's just sitting there as part you know belongs to the firehouse, and then look up Zach Cohen's recipes, because he's got so many crock pot.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That's yes.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Zach does have a lot of crock pot recipes.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He loves that thing.
- 12:49Speaker 2: What is it?
- 12:49Speaker 2: Buffalo chicken meal prep with peanut butter on top, like in the Instant Pot.
- 12:54Speaker 2: That's awesome Greek chicken and rice.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm telling you guys, listen, I'm telling you, just go online and look like Instant Pot recipes there's so many is in the looks, so, so simple.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Like the Instant Pot, like guys, instant Pot's, you can just like saute in them already, like they hit, just like get warm, and then you saute your like onions and garlic and whatever it is, and then you just throw everything in there and cook it.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I just realized.
- 13:17Speaker 1: One possible problem I'm guessing you might have is just the fact that there's, you know, instant Pot, your cook, it's big enough to cook for like a family of four, a family of five.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Right, there's probably more people at the firehouse than that.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Which is again, go to the thrift store and like, find two crock pots so you can just throw, load them up and then with like, a beef meal, load one with a chicken meal.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It lets you guys pick.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Oh, one pan meals, bro.
- 13:42Speaker 2: One pan meals are the best.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You get some like you get some chicken or protein or whatever.
- 13:45Speaker 2: You get your vegetables you just mix all the other potatoes, you know, throw some potatoes in there.
- 13:50Speaker 2: So you guys like a complex starch, like that's awesome, throw it all in the oven.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Olive oil and seasoning, boom.
- 13:55Speaker 2: You know, you can use your Instant Pot to make rice.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Have that on the side, bam.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Or again, if you see a rice cooker while you're thrifting, pick that up.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Those things are perfect for getting an easy meal going.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I love thrift stores.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I'll tell you the food they have there those usually pass the best by date and I don't recommend it often.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I bought it.
- 14:17Speaker 2: It does not work out all the time.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Sometimes it has.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I have found good things, but it's very hit or miss.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Very hit or miss.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Hit up a thrift store, Take a wander down their kitchen appliance aisle, grab a couple of crock pots.
- 14:32Speaker 1: If there's a rice cooker, grab it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Honeyball Sonic chicken and forget With sweet potatoes, honeyball Sonic with sweet potatoes.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I might have to.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I might actually have to make this.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And I see now I'm looking, all these recipes, the kinds of recipes everywhere.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Just go online and look at them.
- 14:46Speaker 2: It's so simple, you have the instrument at your fingertips.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Because you know Zach's a good friend, he's got a great he's got awesome recipes.
- 14:58Speaker 2: There's so many people making awesome recipes.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I go over recipes all the time because there's just so many people like what about this?
- 15:02Speaker 2: What about that?
- 15:03Speaker 2: I'm like you should make it.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Why are you telling me to make it?
- 15:05Speaker 2: I'm going to make it.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you if it's good or not, but you should also make it, Come on.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So he says thanks, this is good information.
- 15:12Speaker 1: He loves it.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Keep it simple.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But you know what?
- 15:17Speaker 1: From there, let's move from there to people with jobs that they're more mobile, like truckers and stuff.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like on the road, that's always kind of like the tricky one, right.
- 15:29Speaker 2: So like my kind of go to what I love is obviously like fruit in all forms, so you know you got your regular fruit.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It'll last like a while, you know, bringing with apples, bananas, whatever it is.
- 15:39Speaker 2: But like if you're on the road for like a long time, just get dried fruit, like it's awesome.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Like I absolutely love dried fruit Dried mango is probably my favorite but like you know, I don't have dried mango.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Dried mango is so good.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I get it from Costco on the Facebook the dried bananas banana chips crunch.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Again, I'm at dollar stores, those actually go to dollar store get some banana chips Actually not bad, but yeah, like I always get like the Costco, big Costco bag of dried mango is really good.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You could bring that on the road, you could bring.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I love having, like they have them at the store, the tuna pouches you know, like all different seasonings and stuff like that for once.
- 16:17Speaker 1: So you get some like Like a can of tuna, can of sardines, can of whatever.
- 16:23Speaker 1: See my fish.
- 16:24Speaker 1: They're nice and small.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Like.
- 16:27Speaker 2: But like the sardines and stuff, I've always been a little iffy on those.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Like they got to be in some real good like mustard or hot sauce or something, because they don't taste that great.
- 16:36Speaker 2: And they got bones in them, often like crunch crunch.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm not a big fan of that Right Crunching on bones.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I don't even care if they're little, tiny bones.
- 16:44Speaker 2: No, thank you.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I get the tuna pouches great.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Walmart has their own versions like a dollar, like 90 cents, something like that.
- 16:52Speaker 2: They got like ranch and buffalo and sesame like ginger.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's probably my favorite.
- 16:58Speaker 2: They got a whole bunch of them.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Grab those, throw them in your truck, bring them with you.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want something lower calorie.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Pickles oh, pickles are great I love, though, like you know, again, they always have like different flavored ones and then even at like truck stops I noticed I'll have like the whole pickle.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Have you ever seen that Like it's just one giant pickle in a bag?
- 17:18Speaker 2: I'm like that is a weird and it's always overpriced too, Cause I'm like it's like a dollar or two for like a single pickle.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm like this is kind of ridiculous.
- 17:25Speaker 2: You're gouging here, but it is kind of cool.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I like that.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It's like a strong garlic flavor or whatever it is.
- 17:30Speaker 2: So it's pretty neat.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That is.
- 17:32Speaker 1: One of the problems is that truck stops, gas stations, they always are gouging.
- 17:36Speaker 1: They're always going to be expensive, right yeah, I mean like where else are you going to go?
- 17:39Speaker 2: So like it's just you know, like you kind of just have to deal with it.
- 17:42Speaker 2: There's really not much you can do.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I do like they usually have like hard boiled eggs.
- 17:47Speaker 2: If I'm at a truck stop and they have like a hard boiled egg like usually have like two or three in like a little container, it's usually not that expensive, I feel like it's usually like a dollar or two for a few of them.
- 17:57Speaker 1: How long do hard boiled eggs last outside of a fridge?
- 18:00Speaker 1: That's a good question Offhand.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Because if they yeah, you look that up because if that's, if they last you know a decent amount of time out of the fridge, that's another option the throwing a bag, throwing a truck.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Okay, well it's.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It's seven days in the fridge.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Seven days in the fridge.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Two hours.
- 18:21Speaker 2: That says, according to the US Department of Agriculture, a couple hours.
- 18:25Speaker 2: So you know if you're on the road and you grab them.
- 18:27Speaker 2: You just got to eat them.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Yeah, though, if you do have room, to just bring a small cooler with an ice pack.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you could do that too, but you know, you stop if you're just like looking for something that you can just eat there, you know.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Oh, I love the little like.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Oh, they always got like the hummer, they got like the hummus cups.
- 18:43Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about.
- 18:43Speaker 2: They got this little like the Saba and they got little pretzels.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Damn, that's good.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I always get those.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I like those yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Um you know of course, always have, like you know, a good thermos of water or something, especially if you're, if you're having these dried fruits, it's good to make sure you're staying hydrated and that's why you get whatever diet soda they have.
- 19:03Speaker 2: It's so I get listen if you're in.
- 19:05Speaker 2: America they've got all the options for diet soda and you get to make your favorite.
- 19:11Speaker 1: But I do recommend um, like if you have room in the truck, if you have room in the vehicle, whatever, go to the dollar store on your day off.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Just pick up a flat of whatever you want at the dollar store because that's going to be cheap.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Don't wait until you're at the gas station where it's three times the price.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Like a big, like two liter or something like that, like one of those, Well, even the cans even cans are way cheaper at a dollar store than a gas station.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I can't do that store in a while.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I got to go.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I want to do that for a video.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'm about to go to the dollar store and find like my best finds at the dollar store.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Cause I'm telling you like I usually get my energy, drinks and stuff, I'll go to the dollar store because it's even cheaper than Walmart by like a dollar.
- 19:51Speaker 2: You know what I like there.
- 19:52Speaker 2: They got like all the different selection of nuts Like I love.
- 19:55Speaker 2: They like cashews, peanuts.
- 19:56Speaker 2: They got blends selection with like walnuts and all sorts of different things.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're, that's always a good option.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I'm telling you you got like a truck stop or dollar store, whatever like that.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Just get whatever, whatever nuts you like.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It doesn't matter which ones.
- 20:08Speaker 2: People always like which ones, don't matter.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Okay, I'm a simpleton, I like that, that's another great thing to throw in a truck or something is nuts yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Any nuts, any seeds, sunflower seeds you're on the road and just like sitting there bored, just throw some sunflower seeds in there.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I always have trouble like eating a whole bunch of nuts.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Pumpkin seeds.
- 20:26Speaker 1: If you like pumpkin seeds, I like pumpkin seeds Pumpkin seeds.
- 20:28Speaker 2: How do people eat all like that?
- 20:29Speaker 2: How do people throw a handful of fucking sunflower seeds in their mouth and eat a whole bunch of them?
- 20:34Speaker 2: I don't understand this.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It's like they just go and they just spit out all the seeds.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I'm like I got to do like one or two at a time.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I can't just be like you know somebody is a fisherman when they do that.
- 20:45Speaker 1: That's what you're doing when you're fishing.
- 20:47Speaker 1: You got your rod and water.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I think they're spitting out like a handful.
- 20:50Speaker 1: You grab a handful, you throw them in your mouth and you're just like right and I guess you just do one, okay.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So they are just doing one at a time, it's not like they're all just like crunching, and then spit yeah, yeah, you kind of like pocket it.
- 21:33Speaker 1: you know the squirrel pocket in the side of your mouth and you just pull one in, you crunch, spit it out, move on to the next one.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, get like just like a cup if you're on the road or something, and just like spit them out.
- 21:43Speaker 2: That's yeah.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Sunflower seeds Awesome.
- 21:46Speaker 1: But, like pumpkin seeds are great for magnesium.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's like the best source of magnesium, like pumpkin seeds, I think, like a serving gives you like 30 or 40% or something like in your day.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, like it's not that many.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And one thing people are scared of nuts because they always have like a very high, they're very calorically dense and stuff, but you do not absorb all those calories.
- 22:12Speaker 2: That's true.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You also don't absorb like almonds.
- 22:13Speaker 2: It's like 30% of the calories you don't absorb and that's one that you turn it into like nut butters and stuff like that, so like you can absorb more calories because it's just all ground up.
- 22:21Speaker 2: But yeah, and also they've got like a protein, some protein, they got some fiber, they got some healthy fats.
- 22:28Speaker 2: It's really not that bad.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Like you know, people give shit to trail mix too and like I totally get that.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It's really.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I feel like trail mix is like when you start getting the chocolates and they like the M&Ms, and then you got like dried fruit and then you've got like nuts and stuff I can eat quite a bit of like trail mix on the road when it's got like M&Ms in it.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And you know another good one.
- 22:48Speaker 1: This goes back to when Dr Terry was on.
- 22:52Speaker 1: We were talking about how chewing stuff keeps you more awake and alert while you're driving, and he said he likes to eat carrots on the road.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And I've actually been doing that since he told us about it and it is awesome.
- 23:03Speaker 1: You just have a bag of carrots there and you're just munching away and it's great.
- 23:08Speaker 1: You're getting your veggies in while you're driving, All right.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So we're going to just steal from other people's content here, because that's pretty much what I do anyway.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I looked it up and I'm just looking at like healthy road trip snacks and literally in the picture, first one hard boiled legs.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Look at us Like we're fucking killing it over here.
- 23:26Speaker 2: This is the best podcast ever.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yes it is.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Why aren't we number one in the US yet?
- 23:32Speaker 2: And veggies.
- 23:33Speaker 2: It says veggies First, one says baby carrots, boom, look at us.
- 23:36Speaker 1: There we go.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Celery sticks, obviously snap peas.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Oh, I like snap peas.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Oh, I love peas.
- 23:43Speaker 2: You know like you get something.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You know like something to dip it in.
- 23:46Speaker 2: You get some hummus or you know whatever.
- 23:47Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Peas are my favorite fruit.
- 23:50Speaker 2: You need to get.
- 23:51Speaker 2: You need to get the little things of applesauce right, and then you just like the kids, like the moths or whatever, like you know.
- 23:58Speaker 2: So you know I'm a 32 year old kid.
- 24:00Speaker 2: All right, I can drink those things on the road.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 24:04Speaker 1: On that note.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yogurt, those little cups of yogurt.
- 24:07Speaker 2: That's also on this list.
- 24:08Speaker 2: I see that.
- 24:08Speaker 2: But you know you definitely need a little cooler and stuff with that, you know so like this is the good thing about like those applesauce pouches or whatever cups.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You just throw a whole bunch in your car or whatever and you're good to go.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Oh string cheese, string cheese.
- 24:21Speaker 2: You got a little cooler.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I love those like little baby bell and like string cheese.
- 24:25Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah, cooler comes in handy.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You get one of those little ones that's basically a lunch kit.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Oh, and this goes.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, this goes for anybody who's going to work too, because I always get asked that, like, what do I bring at work?
- 24:37Speaker 2: All the everything that we just said, bring that to work.
- 24:40Speaker 2: You got a little fridge or something like that.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Put it in there some fruit, some cheese, some eggs, like.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Because that's the thing.
- 24:46Speaker 2: When I'm at work, like you know, do I want to have like this huge meal.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I kind of just snack, like I don't know.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I don't know what to do about with that.
- 24:53Speaker 2: So if I have these like kind of more nutritious snacks, the gogurt squeezes, the gogurt squeezes, bro, listen, I froze those.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Not that long ago, I've never tried them frozen before.
- 25:04Speaker 2: People are like what the fuck's wrong?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Do you never tried them frozen before?
- 25:06Speaker 2: I'm like, listen, I never got them frozen before.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I don't know what you want from me.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Okay, I tried them frozen.
- 25:11Speaker 2: They're pretty good.
- 25:11Speaker 2: It is kind of like a fro-yo, you know.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I mean it is fro-yo, yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 1: The snacking at the desk.
- 25:18Speaker 1: That's a big thing From driving on the road.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Now we're in the office.
- 25:23Speaker 1: A lot of people have trouble with the snacking at the desk and they'll hide like candy in their desk or something yeah At the desk and just place that In your car With all these options that we've been talking about, or even like I actually in my drawer right here I keep a couple packs of gum.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Gum yeah, exactly as long as it doesn't have any sugar in it, because that'll kill you.
- 25:43Speaker 2: But other than the sugar free and this, don't get xylitol either, because that'll kill your dog.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, xylitol is apparently extremely deadly to dogs.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Yes, it is so anybody out there.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Don't give your dog xylitol.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That's why you gotta be careful with peanut butter.
- 25:59Speaker 1: The peanut butter sweetens with xylitol.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I've heard people say that I've never yet to see a peanut butter that has xylitol in it, though I've looked at different peanut butter.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I've never had to look I don't have a dog, I have a cat and I've never looked, but I've looked at peanut butter.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Someone out there, if you have seen a peanut butter, xylitol in it, send it in to us, because I have yet to see that show.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:16Speaker 2: So yogurt, hard boiled eggs, obviously.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, deli meats, you can bring that.
- 26:22Speaker 2: If you have something, bring to work, throw it in the fridge or whatever.
- 26:25Speaker 2: That's obviously great.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Sandwiches like the classic, bring to work because it is so simple.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Sandwiches don't give enough credit.
- 26:33Speaker 2: All right, that's all I'm saying.
- 26:34Speaker 2: They don't.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Sandwiches are awesome and I love bread.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I love a good crusty bread, especially those everything breads with seeds and stuff, oh yeah, and sourdough too, man, I'm a sucker for sourdough Chabada buns are like one of my favorites Chabada yeah, chabada, chabada, chabada.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Chabada, chabada, chabada, focaccia.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Focaccia is a bread, I think.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It's a something that's for sure.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Focaccia is a bread we're going with.
- 27:01Speaker 2: It's a bread and it's also pretty good, because I worked at a restaurant at a Focaccia bread that made with sandwich and it's really good.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Sandwiches, don't give enough credit.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Make more sandwiches, absolutely yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Ooh, grapes, I love me some grapes.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I like just throwing them in a little powich or something like that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: People always say to freeze grapes.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I've done that.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I'm underwhelmed.
- 27:20Speaker 2: How do I say this?
- 27:21Speaker 2: I don't hate them, but it's just like oh, they're just like gummy bears, fuck you.
- 27:25Speaker 2: They're just like gummies.
- 27:26Speaker 2: They're not like gummy bears.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I mean, they're fine.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Have you had frozen grapes?
- 27:30Speaker 2: What's to take on frozen grapes?
- 27:31Speaker 1: I have not.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I've not had frozen grapes.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Next episode we're going to ask how frozen grapes are to rub, because he's going to have to go try it, because I need somebody else on my side to be like.
- 27:41Speaker 1: eh, Okay, making a note of that in the podcast book here.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Freeze, grapes Freeze.
- 27:48Speaker 2: And it's upload freeze grapes.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Those are the things on my list.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Oh, that's the best bread.
- 27:57Speaker 2: What's that like healthy?
- 27:59Speaker 2: Okay, I think they just call it that like oat nut bread or whatever.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Okay, in the States there's one called like oat nut bread.
- 28:06Speaker 2: It's like 500 calories per slice.
- 28:08Speaker 2: It's insane.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Like the calories are astronomical and I think it's like 120 per slice, but it's so good Like, if I'm like at a stage where I'm trying to maybe put on a little weight, I always get that the oat nut bread.
- 28:19Speaker 2: It's just, it's like crack.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Although like is it like a whole nuts that are in it.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So they have like little seeds or whatever, like they got, like some type of seeds or whatever.
- 28:30Speaker 2: So there is some crunch to it.
- 28:32Speaker 2: It does have texture and I'm a sucker for texture.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I need texture.
- 28:35Speaker 1: That's why, yeah, this is why we're crunchy peanut butter.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Listen you, fuck, listen you numphies out there.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I said in a video that I was a crunchy peanut butter boy and you guys were all freaking out like, oh no, I like smooth.
- 28:46Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 28:47Speaker 2: Unfollow, fuck you unfollow.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Crunchy peanut butter is the best peanut butter.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Why do you not want more texture?
- 28:54Speaker 1: That's why I like the crusty breads.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Exactly, yeah, oh, I want just like a soft bread, like I get it.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I guess if you're doing like a peanut butter sandwich, you want that white bread or whatever like that you had as a kid.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Like nostalgia, I understand that, but, like for the most part, I want some God damn bread.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Damn texture.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I'm an adult, yeah absolutely I'm a grown.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I am 100% with.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Liam, on this one, I need some texture.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Speaking of texture, oh, those kind bars.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I like the kind bars.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Now, aldi, if you haven't Aldi, I'm telling you they have their own version.
- 29:27Speaker 2: That's like so much cheaper, it's like half the price, and they're really good.
- 29:30Speaker 2: So they're just like fruit and nuts and like dark chocolate, like that's all.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so is it kind that has a blueberry one.
- 29:38Speaker 2: They probably have one.
- 29:39Speaker 2: They got all sorts of stuff.
- 29:40Speaker 2: They got many.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I don't remember offhand, but I I want to say it was kind and they had a blueberry one and I thought that was delicious.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Hmm, yeah, I don't think I've had.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know sure if I had that.
- 29:52Speaker 2: But like they got Burp, they got all sorts of stuff.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I say, gear up some kind bars or fair Aldi, get the Aldi version.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Oh, pretty much always, get the Aldi version.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I'm very rarely underwhelmed by their protein bar selections kind of ass.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie.
- 30:03Speaker 2: What's going on Aldi and your keto bars?
- 30:05Speaker 2: They're like 500 calories.
- 30:06Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 30:07Speaker 2: But oh, you know what's.
- 30:10Speaker 2: You know that's actually not a bad idea.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Like, get a little baggy right and get yourself some like Cheerios or something like even like honeynut Cheerios and because, like that, they're made of oats, you know.
- 30:22Speaker 2: So at least you're kind of getting your oats there.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Because, like, sitting there eating raw oats, what am I?
- 30:26Speaker 2: A horse like?
- 30:27Speaker 2: I'm not really gonna do that.
- 30:28Speaker 2: So, like, get some Cheerios and then get some fruit.
- 30:31Speaker 2: You know you can get some dried fruit or like some blueberries or something like that and just have that along with some cereal, like like a fucking three-year-old wood.
- 30:38Speaker 2: But I'll still do it again.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I'm a grown fucking baby, is what I am.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that, that describes Liam in a nutshell.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I mean.
- 30:46Speaker 2: No, this is me in a nutshell.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Help, I'm in a nutshell.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I was hoping you would go there.
- 30:55Speaker 2: I fucking love Austin powers.
- 30:57Speaker 2: That's all three of them are good, the third one not quite as good as the first two, but, like you know, it's rare for a movies, for movies, just to keep going and be that good, like John Wick I watched on like recently.
- 31:07Speaker 2: All of them were good.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Well, like that, and even if, like, your place of work has a microwave, then you can always do the, the meal prep right.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Get some chicken and rice, go and throw it in a microwave container and no, prep is always the way to go, like in.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Option on the road even is some.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Some places have access to a microwave.
- 31:29Speaker 2: That'd be interesting.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I mean, you have to keep those cold, especially with like rice and stuff like that.
- 31:34Speaker 2: It is kind of tricky.
- 31:35Speaker 2: What I would, hmm.
- 31:36Speaker 2: What if you got like those rice pouches, you know, like the individual rice?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, those last bring that with you on the road and then, if you have a place to heat it up Sometimes some places will have a microwave.
- 31:48Speaker 2: That's a little tricky, hmm.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll honestly hit up subway.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I just there's a sandwich I'm gonna get, I'm gonna get I'm gonna get tuna and I'm gonna get all the veggies and then like Light mayo I'll usually like it that and then that's my meal personally, at subway I get chicken with the, the marinara sauce, the pizza sauce, and Then I load that up with lettuce, spinach, a little bit of onion and Salt and pepper.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I have to get all the veggies I have to.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I can't get all the veggies up.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Okay, I can see that I'm telling I gotta get the eye for me.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Like I owe every time a veg, every time a subway.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I'm like, listen, all the veggies and as much as you're allowed to put on there, I Don't care if it closes.
- 32:37Speaker 2: It doesn't have to close, it's fine.
- 32:39Speaker 1: The more veggies, the the less calorie dense that it's gonna be.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean your volume exactly that's what volume eating now, um, um, like granola bars, like not bad, again you get some oats, but you know like they.
- 32:54Speaker 2: You know I can eat a lot of granola bars.
- 32:56Speaker 2: That's real Problem.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I can eat so many granola bars.
- 32:59Speaker 2: They're really good.
- 33:00Speaker 2: So, like just mix them in with you know your fruit or whatever, because yeah, you can kind of go to, or like those nature Valley bars, like you open it up and it's just granola, like it's no longer bar, like it's.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah, those that they fall apart.
- 33:15Speaker 2: They're so dry one bite and literally busts into 17 trillion pieces.
- 33:19Speaker 2: And it's everywhere in your car.
- 33:21Speaker 2: What the hell happened?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Maybe don't take that one on the road if you do eat it over a bucket, cuz what?
- 33:29Speaker 1: Nature valley, along with this bucket in your lap.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Someone's you like, oh you had a nature Valley bar, didn't you Hold up their bucket?
- 33:38Speaker 2: It's just filled, it's filled with fucking crumbs.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Hey, nature Valley, we've got your next commercial idea for you.
- 33:46Speaker 2: They need to lean into it.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Nature Valley Come on, guys, you got to lean into and just feel like, yeah, we know our bars crumble into a trillion pieces in your hand, but we still like them.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Like I did a recipe review where it's like he crushed up a nature Valley bar and then put it at the Bottom and then put yogurt on top of that with, like some fruit.
- 34:03Speaker 2: It was really good, like I love to see some dark chocolate, I don't even remember, but everyone's like the fakest part of that is crushing up the granola bar.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Cuz, it's already crushed up.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You just open it and you just put it in there, it's already.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to whack it.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Oh, you know, we didn't even mention like the biggest, the best thing to snack on the road, rob, what is it when you're just stacking on the road?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Is it a chocolate bar?
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yes, that's the best thing to stack on a road.
- 34:31Speaker 2: A fucking Hershey's bar.
- 34:33Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 34:34Speaker 2: No, it's the alternative to chips.
- 34:36Speaker 2: It starts with a puh and ends with oar.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Come on man, porn, porn.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yes, you got a snack on porn on the road.
- 34:45Speaker 2: That's.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I'm a grown child and I stack on porn on the road.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Print it, I want a shirt.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I want that on a shirt.
- 34:56Speaker 1: That's the next in moderation merch coming.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I stack on porn on the road.
- 35:01Speaker 2: What, what are you?
- 35:02Speaker 2: How are you wearing that?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Why, what are you?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Oh, it's just a podcast.
- 35:06Speaker 2: It's an inside joke.
- 35:07Speaker 2: You wouldn't get it.
- 35:10Speaker 1: We got another audience here.
- 35:12Speaker 1: He's saying it's bananas and I'm going to go kick him now.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Yes, no, OK, I mean that those are.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Listen is for some people have broken taste buds and they don't like them, and it's fine.
- 35:22Speaker 2: But bananas are great, Banana chips are great.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Popcorn was what I was looking for.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Was the answer to that, I mean you set yourself up with the P and Oren.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, snacking on the road, yes, snack on the porn on the road, of course.
- 35:39Speaker 2: How could I have not seen that Listen?
- 35:44Speaker 2: And here's the thing.
- 35:45Speaker 2: And here's the thing.
- 35:46Speaker 2: It's like people just sit there and eat popcorn.
- 35:48Speaker 2: You pop a bag or whatever.
- 35:50Speaker 2: You have a bag, you throw some nuts in there, boom.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you've got, you've got a bag of popcorn with some peanuts and you throw some like some banana chips in there.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Oh, there we go, and you know you lost me.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Whatever nuts or you know.
- 36:07Speaker 2: You just throw whatever like in a bag and you just like.
- 36:09Speaker 2: It's just like a lower calorie, kind of like trail mix sort of thing, I guess.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know it's good like like Kroger and the other what you call regular stores have the ocean spray or so I don't remember what it is Low sugar cranberries.
- 36:24Speaker 2: So they sell dried cranberries and they have low sugar ones where they add fiber to it.
- 36:28Speaker 2: I'm telling you, people have told me like thank you for turning me on to this.
- 36:31Speaker 2: So if you are listening right now and you are not getting in reduced sugar cranberries, I don't know what is wrong with you.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Please go to your store right now.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Stop listening to this podcast.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Go if you have a Kroger.
- 36:41Speaker 2: The Kroger version is cheaper and it's like 11 grams of fiber per serving.
- 36:45Speaker 2: You could throw that in with, like you know, some nuts or some popcorn or whatever like that and you're getting just a ton of fiber and antioxidants, Basically anything colorful that's not like artificial, like people.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Whenever I say like, eat colorful foods, are like, oh, jello and starburst.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yes, you figured it out.
- 37:02Speaker 2: That's how to be healthy is to eat copious amounts of starburst and skittles.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So Jesus has a very, very important question for me, which is why don't you like bananas?
- 37:15Speaker 1: That?
- 37:17Speaker 2: is a good question.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And the answer to that, jesus, is because they're disgusting, mushy things that they, you don't even need to use your teeth on them, you just push them with your tongue into the roof of your mouth.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I mean, I guess we were talking about texture and how we need texture, so I think my wife's trying to put her daughter to sleep in the next room.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I'm just like Scorinian is in the micro, perfect, perfect.
- 37:41Speaker 2: But I guess what you said.
- 37:44Speaker 2: You didn't like texture, so why not dry bananas then?
- 37:47Speaker 2: So they're not there.
- 37:48Speaker 2: They're banana chips, they're not.
- 37:49Speaker 1: It was honestly.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I'm going to be honest like I.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I I lean into the hating banana thing, but banana chips aren't bad.
- 37:58Speaker 1: See, there we go.
- 37:59Speaker 1: If I.
- 38:00Speaker 1: They're not my favorite, but if I had to, so it's clearly a texture thing.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Bananas.
- 38:06Speaker 2: it would be a dehydrated banana, so it's it's clearly a texture thing you're having trouble with it's just mostly a texture thing.
- 38:12Speaker 1: There's a little bit of a taste to it.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, okay Okay.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 38:15Speaker 2: What about banana muffins?
- 38:17Speaker 2: You turn in a muffin, you add some walnuts and some like blueberries.
- 38:20Speaker 2: What about them?
- 38:20Speaker 1: No, well, I haven't had a muffin, but I did have banana bread and I was like, no, like there.
- 38:27Speaker 1: There's definitely a taste aspect to it.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Still,
