- 0:00Speaker 1: Now here's what you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: The North Dakota Highway.
- 0:04Speaker 3: The North Dakota Highway Patrol is asking for the public's
- 0:07Speaker 3: help in finding.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hello good morning.
- 0:15Speaker 3: THECODA Highway Patrol is acting for the publics help in
- 0:18Speaker 3: finding the driver of a vehicle that was struck that
- 0:22Speaker 3: ended up striking and killing a bicyclist in Fargo last night.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Now.
- 0:25Speaker 3: The crash happened shortly before eight pm at the intersection
- 0:28Speaker 3: of Tenth Street and NP Avenue North. Witnesses Zoo say
- 0:31Speaker 3: that there was a white suv that was northbound on
- 0:34Speaker 3: Tenth Street and it hit a westbound bicyclist. They did
- 0:37Speaker 3: not stop. Now the victim was a six year old
- 0:39Speaker 3: man who ended up dying. Investigator Zo say that this
- 0:41Speaker 3: suv may have some sort of front end or undercarriage damage.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Anybody with information please contact the Highway Patrol. Two astronauts
- 0:51Speaker 3: astronauts struck aboard the stuck aboard My Goodness the International
- 0:56Speaker 3: Space Station since June, are set to make their trip
- 0:58Speaker 3: home this week SpaceX crew. They ended up getting there
- 1:02Speaker 3: and they were set to bring them home. They were
- 1:04Speaker 3: going to launch yesterday with less than an hour left
- 1:07Speaker 3: in the launch countdown. However, the launch was scrubbed a
- 1:10Speaker 3: problem with the hydraulics on the platform ended up canceling
- 1:13Speaker 3: that that would make me really nervous if I was
- 1:15Speaker 3: in this situation. SpaceX does say that they're going to
- 1:17Speaker 3: try again as early as tonight. The ship is expected
- 1:20Speaker 3: to return on March sixteenth.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I don't think that this will ever happen to me,
- 1:24Speaker 4: but I think that's my biggest irrational fear, being stuck
- 1:27Speaker 4: in space.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think it'll ever go up.
- 1:30Speaker 4: No, probably not so like the odds of me being
- 1:33Speaker 4: stuck in space are very very very low. But I
- 1:36Speaker 4: would be so claustrophobic, and there's only a handful of
- 1:41Speaker 4: people that can really help you get back.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I think i'd find to just be floating around.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I would go nuts up there, that would I'd be terrified,
- 1:49Speaker 4: to be honest.
- 1:50Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:51Speaker 3: If you missed it yesterday, the Saint Patrick's Day Parade
- 1:54Speaker 3: is being postponed a week due to the weekend weather forecast.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Now the parade will now happen on Satdaturday, March twenty second,
- 2:01Speaker 3: But the popcrawl that we are going to be taking
- 2:04Speaker 3: part of thanks to our friends over at bud Light
- 2:06Speaker 3: is gonna be a time we cannot wait for it.
- 2:08Speaker 3: We're gonna start downtown at the Sports Bar at two o'clock.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Blarnie at three o'clock. Get all the details in everything
- 2:14Speaker 3: you need to know at Big nine eight to seven
- 2:15Speaker 3: dot com. Today gonna be beautiful, Enjoy at sunshine high at
- 2:19Speaker 3: sixty four tomorrow, actually even more beautiful. We could hit
- 2:22Speaker 3: seventy tomorrow. Yeah, so this is where it gets real wild.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Tomorrow is seventy. Then we start getting rain, even like
- 2:30Speaker 3: summer like conditions, thunderstorms, and then it cools down so
- 2:33Speaker 3: quick through the overnight temp dropped to about twenty five.
- 2:37Speaker 3: So then we're obviously gonna get snow. This is how
- 2:39Speaker 3: the world works. We just don't know how much snow.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I've seen anywhere from one to three inches to three
- 2:44Speaker 3: to five inches to a foot of snow.
- 2:46Speaker 4: As we were leaving yesterday, you were looking at a
- 2:49Speaker 4: map in your office on your computer about the weather. Yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 4: you had mentioned something about it. It could be six to
- 2:54Speaker 4: twelve inches. That was just a kick right in the
- 2:57Speaker 4: right in the stomach one I know. So it'll, like
- 3:00Speaker 4: I said, arrible.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I think everybody's kind of following along to see how
- 3:03Speaker 3: this all unfolds. But again that pub crawl is still
- 3:06Speaker 3: gonna go on. You know how we do up here, rain, snow, sleep.
- 3:09Speaker 3: You just bundle up.
- 3:11Speaker 4: And crawl, just like the mail delivery or the mail
- 3:14Speaker 4: carrier person. Isn't that an al saying rain, shine, sleep
- 3:17Speaker 4: or snow?
- 3:17Speaker 1: They do it. Today's variety big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:22Speaker 3: All right, weather today it is going to be beautiful,
- 3:24Speaker 3: some sunshine. I have about sixty five. Get out and
- 3:27Speaker 3: enjoy because again that weather is going to take a turn.
- 3:30Speaker 3: It looks like Friday night into Saturday.
- 3:32Speaker 4: It is Thursday. It's going to be a beautiful Thursday.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I'm having a great morning. How you doing, Amanda, gonna
- 3:38Speaker 4: be better?
- 3:39Speaker 1: That's beautiful. I wore my green a little early.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I do have on a green hoodie today, which means
- 3:43Speaker 4: I might have du a little washing over the weekend
- 3:45Speaker 4: for Monday.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I didn't quite put two and two together. There. You've
- 3:48Speaker 1: got a lot of green to wear. I feel like
- 3:50Speaker 1: you got.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Saint Patrick's Day is one of those. Because it falls
- 3:53Speaker 3: on Monday. It's still just Monday if you want to
- 3:56Speaker 3: wear it. But we got the Saint Patty Day pub
- 3:58Speaker 3: crawl on Saturday. Yes, I'm looking forward to that kind
- 4:00Speaker 3: of bum about the parade.
- 4:01Speaker 4: It would have been cool to see that, but it's
- 4:03Speaker 4: if it is going to snow snow, it makes sense
- 4:06Speaker 4: to move it, I mean obviously, so I'm looking forward.
- 4:08Speaker 4: We kind of get to double up Saint Patti's weekend
- 4:11Speaker 4: if you think about it.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Absolutely, I'm here for that. All right. How's your day yesterday?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Did you do anything cool?
- 4:15Speaker 3: I got to go to the park. It was officially
- 4:17Speaker 3: over in our neighborhood. When you tell your kids you
- 4:21Speaker 3: have to come home and eat dinner, like you could
- 4:23Speaker 3: just physically hear kids screaming leaving the park last night.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It was hilarious to me because it happens all the time.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You just kind of forget those sweet sounds of summer.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's one of them, all.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Right, right now, we live right by a park. So now, okay,
- 4:36Speaker 2: five more minutes, Billy Sydney Brick.
- 4:40Speaker 3: You know everybody because they're all just so excited to
- 4:42Speaker 3: see their friends and everybody in the neighborhood, especially now
- 4:45Speaker 3: that my daughter is in an actual school, not just daycare,
- 4:48Speaker 3: so all the neighborhood kids are there. So I got
- 4:51Speaker 3: to see all the kids she's like, oh, she's in
- 4:53Speaker 3: this class and he's in that class, so it's actually
- 4:55Speaker 3: really fun to see them all get together.
- 4:58Speaker 2: And now she has way more friends at the park.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That's pretty cool.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Then absolutely, right time you go outside, you got buddy
- 5:04Speaker 4: to hang out with or a girlfriend to.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Hang out with. Oh, and that's also what it is now.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's oh, well, they just rode their bikes by which means,
- 5:12Speaker 3: of course I'm invited to go for a bike ride
- 5:14Speaker 3: with them. Or because it's nice out, mom, we all
- 5:18Speaker 3: get to do play dates, which I love.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I do my best.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yesterday she had one after school. It's just you can't
- 5:26Speaker 3: hide like we're you know what they were now in
- 5:29Speaker 3: an age where I used to say the park is
- 5:31Speaker 3: closed or it's too full, or it's all of those things.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Now with their friends and they're old enough to communicate
- 5:37Speaker 3: and have the conversations, you really have to stand your
- 5:39Speaker 3: ground with whatever it is that you're trying to do.
- 5:42Speaker 3: The little white lives don't mean a thing anymore.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Right, you know what makes me?
- 5:47Speaker 4: That just made me take a trip down memory lane.
- 5:49Speaker 4: You know, it's kind of sad. At one point, you know,
- 5:52Speaker 4: we played with our friends at the park, and it
- 5:54Speaker 4: was kind of the last time and we didn't really
- 5:55Speaker 4: know it. When's the last time you and your girlfriends
- 5:57Speaker 4: just went to the park and went down some slides
- 5:59Speaker 4: and stuff, or.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Moms, we just might have a little something different in
- 6:03Speaker 3: our cups these days. Today's variety Big ninety eight points right,
- 6:09Speaker 3: partly Sunday today and I hive about sixty.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Four is ready ready?
- 6:14Speaker 1: That's he is typing hot today And now Amanda Stills
- 6:19Speaker 1: the Sea.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Let's see the Jane Doe, who accused Jay Z of
- 6:24Speaker 3: rape alongside Diddy, has now been heard on tape admitting
- 6:28Speaker 3: that he never raped her. Now, the audio that you're
- 6:30Speaker 3: about to hear is from an incident where she is
- 6:33Speaker 3: sitting down talking to a lawyer, Tony Buzby, who is
- 6:36Speaker 3: the one who is basically heading everything up against Diddy,
- 6:41Speaker 3: and you can hear him kind of pressuring her, kind
- 6:43Speaker 3: of questioning whether or not it's happening. I don't know
- 6:46Speaker 3: where they're at. It seems like this should be a
- 6:48Speaker 3: professional setting. Please don't mind the dog barking in the background.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Listen.
- 6:53Speaker 2: But Jazy was just saying he was definitely there, but
- 6:55Speaker 2: he had no part in it, or he was just
- 6:57Speaker 2: he was there. He was just there, but he didn't
- 7:00Speaker 2: anything to do with the any flags towards you. You
- 7:03Speaker 2: with strictly yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 4: And at the end you hear a very light yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 4: as Fido is Jason the mailman are Yeah?
- 7:11Speaker 1: Are they in living room?
- 7:13Speaker 3: No idea what's going on there other than the fact
- 7:16Speaker 3: that if this makes me have a lot of feels
- 7:19Speaker 3: because of course you see this headline, now you see
- 7:23Speaker 3: this attorney in this light. That does not mean there
- 7:27Speaker 3: are not victims out there or Diddy, right, but one
- 7:30Speaker 3: person who does this now kind of tarnishes some of
- 7:33Speaker 3: that in some regards, and I just I hate situations
- 7:37Speaker 3: like that. It is going to be interesting to see
- 7:39Speaker 3: how this all plays all out. Did he still has
- 7:41Speaker 3: to go to trial and that's coming up already in May?
- 7:44Speaker 4: Oh? I suppose that is around the corner, because what's
- 7:47Speaker 4: the one that we were waiting we're waiting a long
- 7:50Speaker 4: long time for. It's not that one if.
- 7:52Speaker 3: You're thinking of Blake Lively and justin Balzoni, we have
- 7:55Speaker 3: to wait until next March for that one.
- 7:57Speaker 1: One. Shiving God?
- 8:00Speaker 2: And where is Kelly Clarkson?
- 8:02Speaker 3: The Kelly Collection show has been on, but she has
- 8:04Speaker 3: not been a part of it for a couple of weeks.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Now people are wondering what is happening because they have
- 8:08Speaker 3: not addressed it on the show. Well, she simply has
- 8:11Speaker 3: just said that she is dealing with a personal manner matter,
- 8:14Speaker 3: and I think a lot of people are speculating that
- 8:17Speaker 3: has to do with her ex.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Oh, the ex hobby. He was a real peach, wasn't he. Yeah?
- 8:22Speaker 4: Definitely not, definitely not not the greatest of guys.
- 8:27Speaker 2: No. In.
- 8:30Speaker 3: A movie about Tiger Wood's life is reportedly being developed
- 8:33Speaker 3: by Amazon MGM. Multiple reports say Obama's company Higher Ground
- 8:37Speaker 3: is in talks to produce the film. He does have
- 8:40Speaker 3: a book called The Tiger Slam, The Inside Story of
- 8:42Speaker 3: the Greatest Golf, greatest golf ever played, And I think
- 8:46Speaker 3: that that's what it's going to be more about.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I never read the book.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Have you heard it? No? No, I've not read the book.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm just wondering what chapters we're getting.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Are we getting him as a little boy playing golf,
- 8:58Speaker 3: becoming the world's greatest, getting married, and then having some what.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Were were they goddesses? Mistresses? What were they called?
- 9:08Speaker 3: Don't you remember? There was like twenty one of them?
- 9:10Speaker 3: Weren't they called goddesses?
- 9:12Speaker 4: Oh, I don't know. I think there was like hundreds
- 9:14Speaker 4: of them. I don't know if there was, but I
- 9:17Speaker 4: do not remember what they were called. No, but it'd
- 9:19Speaker 4: be impossible. I actually don't think it's possible to start
- 9:22Speaker 4: that movie with him just being eighteen year old professional golfer,
- 9:28Speaker 4: because he's he was on TV as a kid, you know,
- 9:32Speaker 4: a young young child performing like little golf tricks.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, he was incredible.
- 9:37Speaker 4: He would you would have to start it as him
- 9:40Speaker 4: as a kid, right rising to golf stardom. You know,
- 9:43Speaker 4: everyone knew he was gonna be a pro golfer when
- 9:46Speaker 4: he by the time he was like five.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I think I was getting Charlie Sheen with the goddesses
- 9:51Speaker 3: mixed up. But it is Tiggerwood's mistresses. And by the way,
- 9:53Speaker 3: the first thing that popped up is where are they now?
- 9:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna be busy for a while because I'm gonna
- 9:59Speaker 3: have to into this. Remember, Rachel, you could tell I
- 10:02Speaker 3: mean these names, this was what we talked about for
- 10:05Speaker 3: a good chunk of a.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Year or two, and he got slammed for it, of course.
- 10:09Speaker 4: But the one that stands out to me that I
- 10:12Speaker 4: remember this poor girl. I don't think really ever got
- 10:15Speaker 4: her name attached to it. She was just known as
- 10:17Speaker 4: the Perkins waitress. Oh man, you know this poor lady.
- 10:21Speaker 4: No one would actually just say her name. Maybe that's
- 10:23Speaker 4: for the best that in the end of it.
- 10:25Speaker 3: But I guess I'm not going poor lady when you
- 10:26Speaker 3: know the guy's married with a kid.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean that that's just tango that there.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Was the golf club incident with his then wife, Oh
- 10:37Speaker 2: my gosh, and then the accident that just went away
- 10:40Speaker 2: not long ago. He just drove off the road. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: we're going to act like nothing.
- 10:44Speaker 1: To see here, folks. Yeah, it's wild.
- 10:47Speaker 4: They're gonna have to show all the good stuff for
- 10:49Speaker 4: it to be even considered a decent movie.
- 10:52Speaker 2: That's the stuff I want to see.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Today's riety big ninety eight point seven.
- 10:58Speaker 2: All right, weather today is gonna be great, sunshine sixty five.
- 11:01Speaker 1: We might even really get close.
- 11:03Speaker 3: To seventy tomorrow, which seems wild because I think all
- 11:05Speaker 3: of us are going aren't we supposed to get a
- 11:08Speaker 3: snowstorm maybe rolling in on Saturday. I still think that's
- 11:12Speaker 3: why they can't really predict it. Going almost from seventy
- 11:15Speaker 3: to twenty five and that amount of time is kind
- 11:17Speaker 3: of crazy. So we're keeping our eye on the forecast.
- 11:20Speaker 3: But let's enjoy it today, sunny in sixty four.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you do?
- 11:23Speaker 4: You turn your like furnace off for twenty four hours
- 11:26Speaker 4: while it's seventy degrees and then you got to heat
- 11:28Speaker 4: your whole house back up again.
- 11:30Speaker 1: The next day? You just keep it at sixty eight.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, that sounds about right. Well, I've got some interesting
- 11:36Speaker 4: news for you this morning. Amanda Stress is supposedly taking
- 11:40Speaker 4: a huge.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Toll on a lot of people here in America.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Porat the average person is experiencing peak burnout at this age.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Do you want to know what that age is? This
- 11:55Speaker 1: is gonna be your peak peak burnout? Oh?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Man, I'm gonna have to ago. Let's go mid forties.
- 12:07Speaker 4: That's pretty close, guests. Yeah, both these answers, though, are
- 12:10Speaker 4: kind of scary. Here. Peak burnout for most people happens
- 12:14Speaker 4: at forty two. However, in America that number is drastically lower.
- 12:22Speaker 4: People are experience experiencing being burnt out with just all
- 12:26Speaker 4: of it by the time they're thirty. Oh my god,
- 12:30Speaker 4: what does that say about us here in America that
- 12:34Speaker 4: by the time we're thirty, we're sort of just over it.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I'm going to be forty this year, and I'm feeling
- 12:40Speaker 3: a little I'm just starting to kind of feel that thirty.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Is so young.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Like I look back, I'm like, oh my gosh, to
- 12:47Speaker 2: be thirty again.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so I look back.
- 12:51Speaker 4: On it, I'm like, man, I wish I could be
- 12:52Speaker 4: twenty eight. That's a real great twenty eight year old.
- 12:56Speaker 3: The only thing I can think of because I did
- 12:58Speaker 3: have kids later on in life, and maybe that's where
- 13:00Speaker 3: my burnout is a little bit older. But at thirty,
- 13:06Speaker 3: you're still like, you have a job. I mean, you're
- 13:08Speaker 3: just kind of getting into your career. Really, yeah, you
- 13:11Speaker 3: would think, or like are you still loving all of that?
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah, supposedly in America, No, we're calling it quits at thirty.
- 13:19Speaker 4: The biggest factors that are leading to this burnout, which
- 13:22Speaker 4: I'm sure you can obviously guess, but obviously finances being
- 13:26Speaker 4: a big giant one. That's the top factor, which is
- 13:28Speaker 4: followed closely by politics, work ad number three, and then
- 13:32Speaker 4: physical health.
- 13:33Speaker 1: At twenty three.
- 13:34Speaker 4: I'll tell you right now that physical health one just
- 13:36Speaker 4: chuck out the window, all right. Just go for a
- 13:37Speaker 4: walk every day. And then grab the snicker bar when
- 13:40Speaker 4: you want it. It doesn't matter. Oh, it totally matters.
- 13:42Speaker 4: And that physical health one that's just all on your head. No,
- 13:45Speaker 4: that one is so real.
- 13:46Speaker 3: And I will tell you my girlfriend and I she
- 13:49Speaker 3: just turned forty and I'll be forty.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I don't know what happens to women, but.
- 13:54Speaker 3: It's like, all of a sudden, I'm just like hanging
- 13:57Speaker 3: around like it's just like your face, You're all these
- 14:01Speaker 3: wrinkly like all it's just like a wild you used
- 14:05Speaker 3: to be able to be like, oh yeah, I'm just
- 14:08Speaker 3: look good in a week or two by doing the
- 14:09Speaker 3: couple of little things. Yeah, it's just like, now this
- 14:13Speaker 3: is just who I am. Like I'm aging and it's
- 14:16Speaker 3: not gracefully wow, and I'm trying to own it like, okay, no,
- 14:20Speaker 3: this is fine gracefully.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I feel like I'm teeing this up and you're supposed
- 14:26Speaker 2: to tell me this.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It's wild, like my hair's turning gray in spots.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's all of these things. Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Well, sadly to say, if you woke up today, you're
- 14:34Speaker 4: twenty nine years old and you're thinking, you know, I'm
- 14:36Speaker 4: starting to feel a little bit stressed. On a day
- 14:38Speaker 4: to day basis, you're right in line with everyone else.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Thirty is your peak number. So that makes me really
- 14:44Speaker 4: sad for America, doesn't us.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Point seven? All right?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Weather today is going to be partly sunny, high a
- 14:53Speaker 2: sixty five tomorrow, bump it up to maybe even seventy.
- 14:56Speaker 1: What is this?
- 14:56Speaker 3: What a weekend weather gonna do? We'll kind of run
- 14:59Speaker 3: through it coming up at the top the hour.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Well, Amanda, I've discovered how you can stay madly in
- 15:03Speaker 4: love if you are in a relationship. Supposedly it is
- 15:06Speaker 4: just as simple as this one thing.
- 15:08Speaker 2: My gosh, tell me more.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Right, Couples who supposedly cuddle after breakfast stay madly in love?
- 15:17Speaker 4: Are you a bacon, egg and cheese and then cuddler?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Amanda? Man, do you get yourself a sing? Right? Makes
- 15:26Speaker 1: McMuffin and hit the little spoon?
- 15:28Speaker 3: A couple couple of things here, not a big breakfast person.
- 15:31Speaker 3: So I feel like that just jinxes me right then
- 15:33Speaker 3: and there. But I'm trying to put myself in a
- 15:35Speaker 3: situation because my husband is adorable about doing breakfast in
- 15:39Speaker 3: bed and it's not.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Just with me.
- 15:41Speaker 3: And this is where it always gets weird. Game like
- 15:43Speaker 3: all of these things. I'm starting to realize that I'm
- 15:46Speaker 3: trying to be madly in love but all I'm thinking
- 15:48Speaker 3: of it. Oh my gosh, the last time this all
- 15:50Speaker 3: happened was my daughter in Brigsy and I were all
- 15:53Speaker 3: snuggled in bed and he brings breakfast in bed and
- 15:56Speaker 3: then we'll cuddle as a family, which yes, adorable.
- 15:58Speaker 4: But yeah, not not quite the same, quite the same,
- 16:01Speaker 4: like it's my dad cuddle time.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It used to be yes.
- 16:05Speaker 4: And this is not a euphemism, I'm not. There's no
- 16:07Speaker 4: innuendo here. I mean just cuddling.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:11Speaker 4: It's not like you hit down the sausage McMuffin and
- 16:13Speaker 4: then it's a little time for mom and dad to
- 16:16Speaker 4: close the door. I'm saying, you literally just sit there
- 16:18Speaker 4: and you embrace each other and okay, game and you
- 16:22Speaker 4: just chill.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Every guy right now is rolling their eyes, going, yeah,
- 16:25Speaker 3: we know what cuddle time means. You guys all think so,
- 16:28Speaker 3: and then never mind. You know exactly what I could say.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Research has shown that physically embracing can benefit our well being,
- 16:36Speaker 4: whether romantic or not, because it releases endorphins.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Okay, that makes total sense.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you.
- 16:44Speaker 4: There is zero chance I'm cuddling after breakfast.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Zero.
- 16:50Speaker 4: I would sit there and lay around, you know, for
- 16:52Speaker 4: thirty minutes before breakfast. But we I don't want to
- 16:56Speaker 4: speak for you, but I habitually hear my alarm and
- 16:59Speaker 4: I up for the day.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I get up, I'm out of bed.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Okay, take us to a Saturday morning. Just laying there
- 17:06Speaker 4: is so hard for me. I'd be like a lay
- 17:08Speaker 4: around after lunch. Give me like a nice one cuddle,
- 17:12Speaker 4: one PM cuddle, the seven eight am thing.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I can't.
- 17:16Speaker 4: That's kind of when my brain has been trained to
- 17:18Speaker 4: turn on and accomplish something wow solely.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, that's interesting.
- 17:23Speaker 4: So if there was some dishes or some house chores,
- 17:26Speaker 4: I'm gonna get those things done before eight nine o'clock
- 17:28Speaker 4: type of guy. And then I'll sit there and lay
- 17:31Speaker 4: around and you know, watch Love Is Blind or whatever
- 17:33Speaker 4: the heck Corey wants to put on TV.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Well, then we can squash this because I'm gonna tell
- 17:37Speaker 3: you right now.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Research. According to me, if.
- 17:42Speaker 3: You're doing the dishes, waking up and cleaning and getting
- 17:44Speaker 3: that done and then snuggling, my endorphins are through the roof.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Today's riety, big ninety eight point seven.
- 17:53Speaker 2: All right, beautiful today, we are gonna get some sunshine
- 17:56Speaker 2: high about sixty five.
- 17:58Speaker 4: About a month ago, there was this interesting post that
- 18:01Speaker 4: I saw on a Reddit that someone had shared, and
- 18:04Speaker 4: it is about a show we've talked about here on
- 18:07Speaker 4: Big ninety eight point seven. A show I've been pretty into,
- 18:10Speaker 4: a show that I think Amanda watched halfway and kind
- 18:13Speaker 4: of gave it a NIX.
- 18:14Speaker 1: We're talking about Severance.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 18:18Speaker 3: We tried and I kind of kind of forgot about it,
- 18:21Speaker 3: honestly because we were everybody was talking about that show.
- 18:24Speaker 3: But Nick and I had found Paradise yeap, so we
- 18:27Speaker 3: flew through that on Hulu and we tried to watch
- 18:30Speaker 3: that right after, and we could not get through the
- 18:32Speaker 3: first episode. It was just I don't know if it
- 18:35Speaker 3: was just our mindset flow not really picking up what
- 18:39Speaker 3: was going on.
- 18:40Speaker 2: It was very odd. But you said, it's fantastic.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Yeah, And while we love the show, we watch it
- 18:46Speaker 4: every week or whatever, not on the day it comes out,
- 18:49Speaker 4: just kind of whenever we get around to it.
- 18:51Speaker 1: But someone I saw this post on Reddit.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Someone said, I think my dog is afraid of Severance.
- 18:56Speaker 4: That was the name of the thread, and then a
- 18:59Speaker 4: bunch of pet owners dog owners came in and basically
- 19:03Speaker 4: said what I had felt is Winona afraid of the
- 19:07Speaker 4: intro to this song, which sounds a lot, well, doesn't
- 19:09Speaker 4: sound a lot like it's this and there is something
- 19:13Speaker 4: about this ambiance and the tint of the show.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I think, Well, isn't it.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Very blue in the background? Are they trapped in a
- 19:21Speaker 3: blue room or they're sitting in a that This is
- 19:25Speaker 3: literally all I got. It felt very There's a desk,
- 19:28Speaker 3: there's people talking, this is happening, and I just it
- 19:32Speaker 3: wasn't enough action for me. You have told me get
- 19:35Speaker 3: through the first episode and then it starts all making sense.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, pretty much.
- 19:41Speaker 4: And I don't think it's not like a blue room
- 19:43Speaker 4: per se, but it there is a bluish hint to
- 19:47Speaker 4: the show, if that makes sense. It's almost like there's
- 19:49Speaker 4: a blue piece of plastic over the camera when they
- 19:52Speaker 4: film it.
- 19:53Speaker 2: So are dogs reacting to that or the song or both?
- 19:57Speaker 1: I think it's a little bit of both.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Like, for instance, someone and said, every time I start
- 20:01Speaker 4: watching the show, my dog paces, it whinds, it starts crying,
- 20:05Speaker 4: and it'll go to the other room.
- 20:06Speaker 1: It'll put itself to bed.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Other people say their dogs will hop in their lap
- 20:10Speaker 4: because they're like, eiter, what have you? And I have
- 20:13Speaker 4: noticed that when the intro plays whatever, Wanona's doing chewing
- 20:18Speaker 4: on whatever the heck she shouldn't be chewing on or
- 20:20Speaker 4: hanging out being a dog. Yeah, she immediately will sit
- 20:24Speaker 4: up and start looking around and kind of going, what like,
- 20:28Speaker 4: what is going on in our house right now? So
- 20:30Speaker 4: my dog reacts to the intro to that song kind
- 20:34Speaker 4: of that.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Show wants me to do a little try see what
- 20:38Speaker 3: does Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yeah, So if you are into the show severance and
- 20:42Speaker 4: have a pet, I'm not saying purposely scare your pets
- 20:45Speaker 4: or any that's kind of like.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Am I traumatizing my dog by doing this experiment?
- 20:49Speaker 4: But is this something you've noticed or or if you
- 20:52Speaker 4: do ever watch the show and you have a dog,
- 20:54Speaker 4: maybe pay attention just to see. But I saw that
- 20:57Speaker 4: the other day on Reddit and went, you know, this
- 20:59Speaker 4: actually so very familiar. Yeah, So I just thought it
- 21:02Speaker 4: was kind of interesting. And there is something about the
- 21:06Speaker 4: is the word omnimus on.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Ambiyonce.
- 21:10Speaker 4: There's just something about the tones in the intro theme music.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That dogs do not like. I guess right.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Very interesting Today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I'll right some sunshine today, Hi you sixty five.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I was being a nosy Nelly yesterday and I was
- 21:29Speaker 4: kind of wondering, you know, if I had to choose, I.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Can only pick one for the remainder of.
- 21:34Speaker 4: My days, would I be an Instagram fella or a
- 21:39Speaker 4: or a my Space or a Facebook guy? And I
- 21:41Speaker 4: was kind of curious what you had thought, and so
- 21:44Speaker 4: I put it on the Big ninety eight point seven
- 21:46Speaker 4: Facebook page, which is kind of funny.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'm asking which one do you prefer? Game? Do you
- 21:51Speaker 1: think they all went Facebook?
- 21:53Speaker 4: There was a couple MySpace on there that was my
- 21:58Speaker 4: favorite back in the day.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I loved Space, absolutely loved it.
- 22:01Speaker 3: But if I were to go between Facebook and Insta,
- 22:03Speaker 3: I'm going Insta all the way.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And why would you be picking Instagram?
- 22:08Speaker 3: It just feels less opinionated. My algorithm is so either
- 22:17Speaker 3: all kids, all fun, Being a mom is fantastic. The
- 22:22Speaker 3: algorithm is like all about faith. It gives me good vibes.
- 22:26Speaker 3: When I'm scrolling through. I love seeing the carousels of
- 22:29Speaker 3: pictures of people. It feels like you're showing your vacation stuff.
- 22:33Speaker 3: It just gives me happy vibes. And then I also
- 22:36Speaker 3: think that the way you use the stories is a
- 22:38Speaker 3: whole lot easier than on Facebook.
- 22:41Speaker 4: I would one thousand an Instagram guide to Instagram.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Now.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I know obviously it can be a toxic place as
- 22:47Speaker 4: well well. My Instagram algorithm is so much more friendly
- 22:50Speaker 4: and inviting than my Facebook one, And I think.
- 22:53Speaker 3: A lot of it has to do with on Facebook,
- 22:55Speaker 3: they I think they have so many more ads and
- 22:58Speaker 3: things that aren't for me any more, with like the
- 23:00Speaker 3: new AI overview a my I don't know who this
- 23:03Speaker 3: person is. I get why it's in my algorithm, but
- 23:07Speaker 3: I like that personal connection with people.
- 23:09Speaker 1: That's why I'm on it.
- 23:10Speaker 3: That's why I have my friends and family, and that
- 23:12Speaker 3: gets buried more on Facebook. Also when it comes to Facebook,
- 23:17Speaker 3: when you're looking through it, you can see people's comments,
- 23:19Speaker 3: they're just more abrupt and on Instagram and that's where
- 23:23Speaker 3: you that's where people start arguing and going through. And
- 23:26Speaker 3: don't get me wrong, I am here for a news
- 23:29Speaker 3: site putting something up. I am the first to dive
- 23:31Speaker 3: into the comments. I'm not acting like I'm not here
- 23:34Speaker 3: for that. Sometimes I dive deep into that.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Oh you get the Michael Jackson meme where you're just
- 23:38Speaker 4: here for the with the popcorn.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Totally, I'm just here for that.
- 23:41Speaker 3: But on Instagram you have to click on the comment
- 23:44Speaker 3: in order to see and dive in if you want to.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I will say I am.
- 23:49Speaker 4: I spend way more time on Facebook than Instagram.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Oh that's interesting.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Yeah, And so whilst I probably enjoy in, it's like
- 24:00Speaker 4: a two headed kind of deal here. While I probably
- 24:03Speaker 4: enjoy Instagram a little more, I use Facebook a hundred
- 24:07Speaker 4: percent more just for and maybe it's out of habit,
- 24:11Speaker 4: I don't know, but you know, information, I guess I'm
- 24:13Speaker 4: probably more likely to find by going to Facebook quick
- 24:17Speaker 4: because I'm not really an X guy. And Instagram is like,
- 24:20Speaker 4: you know, you kind of share your life and your
- 24:25Speaker 4: highs and lows or whatever. And on Facebook it's so
- 24:28Speaker 4: I almost kind of more use it as like news.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Does that make sense? Totally? Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I will tell you.
- 24:33Speaker 3: What I find to be really interesting is I post
- 24:36Speaker 3: everything through Instagram and so it goes.
- 24:40Speaker 1: To Facebook rather connected or whatever. Yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's the same company.
- 24:43Speaker 3: But I wonder if it wasn't for the fact that
- 24:46Speaker 3: so many people that I'm family, really close friends with
- 24:50Speaker 3: they comment on Facebook more than Instagram. Yeah, my Instagram
- 24:54Speaker 3: world is like whatever, that's maybe why I kind of
- 24:57Speaker 3: like it.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Okay, yeah that makes sense because yeah, for example, if
- 25:00Speaker 4: the you know how the parade has changed for this weekend,
- 25:04Speaker 4: I'm more likely I feel like the I would find
- 25:07Speaker 4: that on Facebook. I'd find that information than I would
- 25:09Speaker 4: on Instagram. Yeah, so that's kind of the two headed
- 25:12Speaker 4: deal I deal with. And I did ask this on
- 25:15Speaker 4: Facebook and and overwhelming people actually would rather have Facebook
- 25:19Speaker 4: than Instagram.
- 25:20Speaker 1: We did get an ask Jeeves in there, which I'm.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Found clever, and then someone Janis wants my Space to
- 25:27Speaker 4: come back.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Meanwhile, there are people listening right now, a lot of
- 25:32Speaker 3: youngsters going, oh my gosh, you guys are still on
- 25:34Speaker 3: Facebook and Instagram, you boomers. We've been on TikTok for years.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I'll write some sunshine today, Hi sixty five. Tomorrow we're
- 25:46Speaker 3: bumping up a little bit warmer, and then it's gonna.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Be wild weather.
- 25:50Speaker 3: We're getting rain, kind of thunderstorms rolling over to some snow.
- 25:53Speaker 3: The high on Saturday is only twenty seven. We'll dive
- 25:56Speaker 3: into that more and what you can expect is coming
- 25:58Speaker 3: up at eight o'clock.
- 25:59Speaker 1: We just had Hosier. Don't forget.
- 26:00Speaker 4: He's coming to the Fargo Delm on July twenty seventh.
- 26:03Speaker 4: The tickets for that sale show actually go on sale
- 26:05Speaker 4: two day, so if you're interested in checking that out,
- 26:09Speaker 4: we have the information on the Big ninety eight point
- 26:11Speaker 4: seven Facebook page.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Amanda, did you see or were you ever into?
- 26:15Speaker 4: The TV show The Last of Us, which has gone
- 26:18Speaker 4: down is like the second most successful TV show on HBO.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You never saw this one? Uh?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Why am I this girl? It's like I and I
- 26:26Speaker 2: don't try to be this girl. I really don't.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I feel like I'm in touch with all the things,
- 26:30Speaker 3: but every big show outside of Yellowstone I don't get into.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I mean, we're talking all the way.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Back from Friends.
- 26:38Speaker 4: I never watched Friends either, so I can't really hate
- 26:40Speaker 4: on that. I think I've seen like two episodes of
- 26:42Speaker 4: Friends in my entire life.
- 26:43Speaker 3: The Last about It not to be confused with This
- 26:45Speaker 3: is Us, because I did watch.
- 26:47Speaker 1: That one, right, The Last of Us?
- 26:50Speaker 4: This show, actually, which I did not know when I
- 26:53Speaker 4: first started watching this was actually based on a It's
- 26:55Speaker 4: like based on a video game or something.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Probably another reason I didn't get into it.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Well, you watch Paradise. I mean that's pretty massive show.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, there we go, And I got in on
- 27:05Speaker 2: it before a lot of people.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Toot. That's me, toot leading the train. I love that. Well.
- 27:12Speaker 4: The Last of Us season two has released this trailer,
- 27:16Speaker 4: and this trailer since Saturday, has been viewed one hundred
- 27:22Speaker 4: and fifty eight million times globally across platforms. And they
- 27:27Speaker 4: did that in just the first three days, so this
- 27:30Speaker 4: number's obviously gone up since Tuesday or whatever. And I
- 27:33Speaker 4: was just curious if you were into this show. Were
- 27:36Speaker 4: you like a Walking Dead fan?
- 27:38Speaker 2: Nope?
- 27:38Speaker 4: See I tried watching The Walking Dead. By about season four,
- 27:41Speaker 4: I was out. This show sort of is kind of
- 27:44Speaker 4: like that. It's like that zombie kind of apocalypse kind.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Of deal or whatever.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Again, probably another reason. Let me guess you're gonna ask
- 27:50Speaker 3: me about Game of Thrones game.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Nope, not that much.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Oh no, I'm well versed in no Game of Thrones.
- 27:56Speaker 4: But either way, this show will come out next month,
- 28:00Speaker 4: which people are waiting for forever. And I'm kind of
- 28:04Speaker 4: just curious if you think you'll jump on this bandwagon.
- 28:06Speaker 4: This was one of I'd say the probably the second
- 28:09Speaker 4: or third best show in HBO history and it's only
- 28:11Speaker 4: been out for one season.
- 28:13Speaker 3: No, I don't think I'll probably jump on board. Me
- 28:15Speaker 3: to be honest with you, not checking it out. No,
- 28:18Speaker 3: the Squid Games didn't.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Get into it.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I am seriously terrible unless it's on Lifetime, Hallmark or Dateline.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Sure, I am just so.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm weird.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Well, that's all right. I mean you can like like
- 28:31Speaker 4: what you like. You know, there's nothing wrong with that.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I was just curious.
- 28:34Speaker 2: No, I doubt it.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Well, if you are a Last of Us fan, the
- 28:39Speaker 4: weight is over. It will debut season two next month.
