- 0:21Speaker 1: Is he. It makes me smile to think that Tailor
- 0:24Speaker 1: thinks there is someone in his building that's responsible for
- 0:27Speaker 1: letting everyone else in the building now that Columbia is
- 0:30Speaker 1: about to pour out into the streets.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So I don't need a Paul Columbians are coming, Mike.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I do not need a Paul Revere coming through the
- 0:41Speaker 2: streets letting me know that Columbia is about to flood
- 0:44Speaker 2: the streets. But if my building is going to be
- 0:47Speaker 2: shaking at eleven PM because of the noise outside, maybe
- 0:52Speaker 2: just the heads up of saying, hey, guys, if you
- 0:54Speaker 2: have dogs, there's gonna be fireworks being shot off, Like,
- 0:58Speaker 2: just give me some kind of warning to prepare. I
- 1:00Speaker 2: try to drive through initially, and the guy was like,
- 1:04Speaker 2: first off, police officers. There's nothing police officers love more
- 1:07Speaker 2: than telling you you can't get somewhere. Because I'm trying
- 1:11Speaker 2: to get to my building and the guy's like, hey,
- 1:12Speaker 2: you can't go through here. This is where the Colombian
- 1:14Speaker 2: team is staying. And I like I'm pointing. I'm like, hey,
- 1:17Speaker 2: that is my garage and he's like, sorry, we have
- 1:20Speaker 2: a no a no going through room zone.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I'm the main part of police training I'm like.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Okay, Buddy, I don't know who you have to talk to, Bud.
- 1:27Speaker 2: That's my garage right there. There's no way I'm getting
- 1:29Speaker 2: through this crowd.
- 1:30Speaker 3: There's no way that didn't happ unless it's officer Buddy
- 1:33Speaker 3: and it's right there on his tailor put.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It on the pole. Is calling an officer buddy the
- 1:38Speaker 1: most dangerous of games, because it is you should have
- 1:41Speaker 1: been arrested. I'm surprised you weren't. You didn't call him buddy,
- 1:44Speaker 1: did you.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I'm sorry, officer Buddy.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I don't know I was seeing at that point. I
- 1:48Speaker 2: was seeing red listen pal.
- 1:51Speaker 3: But it's not like the Colombians had like an agenda
- 1:53Speaker 3: like the because like, oh, our party is going to
- 1:55Speaker 3: include first fireworks and then flag waving and then dancing.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It's like, Hey, the Columbian throwing a block party. Great.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I don't think your building really knows what to expect.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And just to be clear, I liked the block party.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I liked the atmosphere that was there. I'm now rooting
- 2:09Speaker 2: for this Colombian soccer team, right stup. I don't know
- 2:12Speaker 2: if you heard this, but Colombia has a song for
- 2:14Speaker 2: their soccer team. It came out in twenty twenty four. Right,
- 2:18Speaker 2: it is my rare song of the summer that came
- 2:20Speaker 2: out two years ago. Wow, it's an absolute banger of
- 2:23Speaker 2: a song.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Little did you know that a block party meant you'd
- 2:26Speaker 1: be blocked from getting into.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Your garage block party. I love it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Wait, so they have a banger from twenty four they do?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh it's an anthem of a song. They played
- 2:38Speaker 2: it forty times. I heard it forty times at this
- 2:41Speaker 2: block party.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I would become under you.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I would becoming one with the Colombians at this block party.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Stockholm syndrome.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It delights me any time I come in here and
- 2:51Speaker 1: Israel Goody Airs is into a golf story because we
- 2:55Speaker 1: had Victor Hovlin on. We'll get to the week Ken
- 2:57Speaker 1: observations here in just a second. He had Hovelin on
- 3:01Speaker 1: last week, he went out, he won the Travelers. He
- 3:03Speaker 1: did so today this morning. As a matter of fact,
- 3:06Speaker 1: why are you so fired up about this story?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Well, first of all, it was, you know, watching the Travelers,
- 3:11Speaker 3: I saw you know, Scotty had the big was it
- 3:13Speaker 3: round two? Right? He had the shot of sixty in
- 3:15Speaker 3: the second round, And it's like, oh wow, Scotty's just,
- 3:18Speaker 3: you know, flinging his thing around, making sure he recogniz
- 3:22Speaker 3: everybody recognizes who's still on top of the game. And
- 3:25Speaker 3: then I'm like, well, wait a second, there's a boy,
- 3:28Speaker 3: Victor Hovlin. And I'm really ticked off that I wasn't
- 3:30Speaker 3: a part of that interview because of my stupid schedule.
- 3:31Speaker 3: But I was like, oh, there's Victor Hovlin. He was
- 3:33Speaker 3: on the show. Wait, I want him to win now.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And then I saw Wyndham and I was like, well,
- 3:37Speaker 3: wait a second, they defend the US Open champ who
- 3:39Speaker 3: was on our show, who was fantastic, has a shot.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I want him to win? Sure, dumb now. And so
- 3:45Speaker 3: it was like, all right, I'm gonna cheer for those guys.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And then it got kind of interesting toward the end
- 3:49Speaker 3: where Wyndham was actually in it toward the end, and
- 3:51Speaker 3: then they were playing after I think like a ninety
- 3:53Speaker 3: minute weather delay. So would they get it in in time, giggity,
- 3:57Speaker 3: would the playoff have to happen the next day? And
- 4:00Speaker 3: so that part in itself too. So what happened is
- 4:02Speaker 3: they ended up Hovelin and Scheffler were tied, and they
- 4:04Speaker 3: go to this morning for the playoff.
- 4:06Speaker 1: They got the eighteen in right, they did not have
- 4:08Speaker 1: time for the playoff, correct, which to me I love, Like,
- 4:11Speaker 1: what other sport do you have?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Like, all right, shut it down, wake up the next morning,
- 4:16Speaker 3: play one eighteenth potentially of what you did previously to
- 4:21Speaker 3: decide the winner of it all.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It seems like a major inconvenience to have to stick
- 4:24Speaker 1: around for an extra night to play a single hole, Like,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm all for it if it's eighteen holes like the
- 4:30Speaker 1: US Open.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You know, imagine like you're you're focusing, like you're you're
- 4:34Speaker 3: visualizing at night, and it's just just for one hole.
- 4:36Speaker 3: It's just for one hole, and it's just like all right,
- 4:39Speaker 3: And so you know, Scottie again looks like he's swinging
- 4:42Speaker 3: his thing around because his first two shots in that
- 4:45Speaker 3: eighteenth hole fantastic. He's within like four feet of the cup. Right.
- 4:49Speaker 1: If I can cut you off for just a second,
- 4:50Speaker 1: what tier is Japan in tailor for your World Cup tiers? What?
- 4:54Speaker 3: What tier?
- 4:54Speaker 2: That could make?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Noise?
- 4:57Speaker 1: One? Nothing against Brazil right now? How about that.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Being made? Yeah?
- 5:01Speaker 2: And Brazil was in my pretenders here.
- 5:04Speaker 3: He's like a gun. So far, so good man.
- 5:08Speaker 1: One nail profit over here anyway back to Scotty.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know, and Victor Hovlin and his approach
- 5:14Speaker 3: shot hits you know, in any other hole, looks like
- 5:18Speaker 3: a great shot, but it's you know, three or four
- 5:20Speaker 3: feet behind Scotty's. So vict is first and he knocks
- 5:24Speaker 3: it in. It sneaks right in, and it's like, all right,
- 5:27Speaker 3: he's got the birdie. Scotty's gonna match him. We're gonna
- 5:29Speaker 3: go to a second hole here second, and Scotty absolutely
- 5:34Speaker 3: choked that one away. Like I don't know if you
- 5:36Speaker 3: saw this, tailor, I'm just I haven't seen a replay,
- 5:39Speaker 3: but based on memory, I think like he didn't even
- 5:41Speaker 3: touch the lip of the cup, like it was just
- 5:43Speaker 3: a bad putt STU.
- 5:45Speaker 2: So it's an advantage for Scheffler to go second there
- 5:49Speaker 2: because he gets he gets to see the line almost
- 5:52Speaker 2: when Hovelin's from seven feet and Scheffler's from two feet
- 5:55Speaker 2: four inches. But a point that I always love when
- 5:58Speaker 2: the broadcasters make the second Hovelin makes the putt, all
- 6:02Speaker 2: the pressure goes back to Scheffler, and that putt from
- 6:05Speaker 2: two feet four inches feels way.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I thought it was even longer than that.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So first off, he earned the right to putt second
- 6:13Speaker 1: because he was closer to the hole on his approach shot. Secondly,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that is shocking because Scheffler hit so many pots, including
- 6:19Speaker 1: one on eighteen, to get that thing to an extra day,
- 6:22Speaker 1: to an extra hole. I'm surprised he missed it.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Shocking and knocking. And then it's just like, wait a second,
- 6:29Speaker 3: I just got up and did all this preparation for
- 6:31Speaker 3: one hole to lose a couple million dollars, Like we
- 6:33Speaker 3: could have just split it last night and then not
- 6:35Speaker 3: have to come out here and do this. They played
- 6:36Speaker 3: one hole.
- 6:37Speaker 1: They should have done that. Good, good split that pot.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Do it all the time in poker tournaments.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Victor want to get out of here because I do.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I mean they stuck around for a hole. Yeah, but
- 6:49Speaker 1: Scheffler was pumped to stick around for the hole. You
- 6:51Speaker 1: saw his reaction that he was.
- 6:53Speaker 3: And then Victor when he hit his you know, in
- 6:55Speaker 3: the playoff, it was just like yeah, and then he
- 6:57Speaker 3: didn't even celebrate because it was such a shocker. That's
- 7:00Speaker 3: Scotty missed that.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I was actually thinking on the eighteenth hole yesterday. If
- 7:04Speaker 1: you're Scottie, do you miss this? Take the second place
- 7:07Speaker 1: perse and just move on with your day. I mean,
- 7:09Speaker 1: the Travelers that much money. You don't need another trophy
- 7:13Speaker 1: in your trophy case. It's just like, you know what,
- 7:14Speaker 1: what's this night worth to me? A million dollars?
- 7:17Speaker 2: They're starting to call the Travelers the fifth Major.
- 7:20Speaker 3: No, No, are they in Connecticut? We are. I also
- 7:27Speaker 3: was quite surprised at the amount of fans they got
- 7:29Speaker 3: there on a Monday at nine am just for that
- 7:32Speaker 3: one hole.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So my father in law actually had tickets to Sunday
- 7:37Speaker 2: and they basically said at the end, they're like, well,
- 7:39Speaker 2: if you had a ticket for today, you can come
- 7:40Speaker 2: back tomorrow.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Right for fifteen minutes, we're taking us longer to park.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But you saw something you never seen before, which is
- 7:50Speaker 1: Scotty joking essentially right.
- 7:52Speaker 3: He had missed a few of those, like in some
- 7:53Speaker 3: tournaments leading in and I was just like, I hope
- 7:56Speaker 3: that's not going to be a problem for Scotty. It
- 7:58Speaker 3: might be a problem. He'll be fine. Is he like
- 8:01Speaker 3: the reverse or like, did he become a choker all
- 8:03Speaker 3: of a sudden when he used to be clutched because
- 8:05Speaker 3: that was a choke.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Stu, how much credit do you think we should get
- 8:09Speaker 2: for hovelin winning so much.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Let me think all of it. Yeah, if I had
- 8:13Speaker 1: the pie chart, it's I would say. I don't want
- 8:16Speaker 1: to say all that's. You know, he went out there,
- 8:18Speaker 1: he did what he had to do. You know, he's
- 8:20Speaker 1: swinging the clubs, Mikey, he's making the decisions, he's hitting
- 8:23Speaker 1: the big shots. I'll say ninety percent of us, we're.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Probably on par with the caddy.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah at least.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Oh no, we're more important than the cat.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Really, get at you. I was gonna say, we're right
- 8:30Speaker 3: behind the caddy, but way more important than there was.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Norwegian fans who are following them around.
- 8:36Speaker 1: They made the event. That's why it's turning into the
- 8:38Speaker 1: fifth Major. If the Norwegian fans come every single year,
- 8:42Speaker 1: it would be the fifth Major. They'll turn any golf
- 8:45Speaker 1: event into a major. The European fans, man, they care
- 8:48Speaker 1: about sports more than we do. They're better at it
- 8:51Speaker 1: than we are. A caring We're spoiled away from Norwegian,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know, but they care. They're just happy to be there.
- 9:00Speaker 1: They are watching Chefler versus Hoflin. They're thrilled. We're bored.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Man.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I care about you, stud I care about you too,
- 9:10Speaker 1: But we're spoiled. You would agree we're spoiled fans, right
- 9:13Speaker 1: for sure.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I mean we don't start rowing when our team.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I go to the fourth rounds of the Travelers like
- 9:18Speaker 1: a drag. I don't want to be there. I'm exhausted
- 9:20Speaker 1: by the third, you know, And now we're in I
- 9:22Speaker 1: want to go home. These men will stay all night,
- 9:25Speaker 1: an extra night, and they did. Anyway, is here? You're
- 9:40Speaker 1: ready for the weekend observations?
- 9:43Speaker 3: Ready?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Do you get all the golf out of you that
- 9:45Speaker 1: you needed?
- 9:45Speaker 3: I did? I got a Monday morning golf hole. All right?
- 9:50Speaker 3: I missed it.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I was on an airplane. Let's get to the weekend observations.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Is he?
- 10:05Speaker 1: If you love the sport, these are two weeks you
- 10:08Speaker 1: circle on your sports calendar. It's Tennis's crown jewel, the
- 10:14Speaker 1: grass courts, the white outfits, and this year the return
- 10:20Speaker 1: of a legend. And is he? Just like that, make
- 10:25Speaker 1: no mistake about it. Wimbledon is back. Wow.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Do you know that's the only thing left on my
- 10:32Speaker 3: sports bucket list?
- 10:34Speaker 1: Really?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Yea of the major things?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Wimbledon to go there one time?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Yep? You want to send me two weeks?
- 10:42Speaker 2: It feels like that can't be the only thing on
- 10:44Speaker 2: your sports bucket.
- 10:45Speaker 3: It currently is. I mean I might have to update
- 10:46Speaker 3: the bucket list, but that's currently the only thing on there.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Have you been to Augusta?
- 10:50Speaker 3: No, I really wasn't on the list. Really, what's the
- 10:52Speaker 3: second tier underneath.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Bucket list because that's where Augusta is for me?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Well, Taylor is the tear guy.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I'd consider it. That's now would be the tier on
- 11:01Speaker 2: the bugles. Yeah, I'd consider Carolina Duke. I've seen it,
- 11:04Speaker 2: that's on my bucket list. I've been in Cameron indoors
- 11:07Speaker 2: seeing a good game there. Don'tate to see Carolina, right,
- 11:11Speaker 2: is he? Let's do some math.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yes, you know what, Portugal plus Columbia plus thirty seven
- 11:19Speaker 1: combined shots plus zero goals equals snooze fest. It equals
- 11:24Speaker 1: soccer that's made up potato.
- 11:28Speaker 2: That was a good game.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I gotta be honest, really, I mean they're playing soccer
- 11:32Speaker 1: at a different level. They really are. I mean they're
- 11:34Speaker 1: setting each other up. There's plays, I mean, the whole deal.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Hang on a second, Columbia is good. Are we now
- 11:40Speaker 3: watching Stu Gatts figure out what soccer is? I like soccer.
- 11:45Speaker 3: He's just talking good about a zero zero I'm sorry,
- 11:48Speaker 3: a nil mil draw. Yeah, and he's finding the new
- 11:51Speaker 3: hunts in soccer. I mean it was a good game, unbelievable.
- 11:54Speaker 2: The real test is we need him going into the
- 11:57Speaker 2: Premier League season and watching like Brighton nodding.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So here's the thing. As exciting as the World Cup
- 12:03Speaker 1: has been, there is no chance in hell I am
- 12:06Speaker 1: going to an MLS game, or a Premier League game
- 12:09Speaker 1: or any other game. Okay, when the World Cup is over,
- 12:12Speaker 1: we take a little time off and then football starts
- 12:15Speaker 1: our football.
- 12:16Speaker 3: All right, Yeah, I'm crossing it out. I wrote down
- 12:18Speaker 3: June twenty ninth to twenty twenty six at seven pm
- 12:21Speaker 3: Eastern Time as the moment where Stuve Gots has turned
- 12:24Speaker 3: on soccer. But then he finished his thought and I
- 12:26Speaker 3: just crossed it. No chance.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Rhys Davis, covering Wimbledon for ESPN, one question, what took
- 12:34Speaker 1: so long? It's a match made in heaven right there?
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it really is. I think Chris Fowler is the
- 12:40Speaker 3: one who had it right.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Well, no, he does the game, He does the matchup right,
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yeah right?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Mac?
- 12:47Speaker 1: If I pay three thousand dollars for tickets to a
- 12:49Speaker 1: World Cup match and it ends nil nil. I'm asking
- 12:53Speaker 1: for a refund.
- 12:54Speaker 3: It was a good match. You just said it.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I don't know who I'm asking, by the way. I mean,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I'm just asking for a refund.
- 12:59Speaker 2: You know, you're just walking out of Miami Stadium like
- 13:02Speaker 2: a refund.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Someone owes me three grand.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Everybody else is like, tell me about it, brother, and
- 13:08Speaker 3: you're like, no, seriously, equalize my wallet.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yes, after that match ended, I put on an old
- 13:15Speaker 1: college football game just to feel something, anything.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Or something, and I did.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Columbia being off sides on what would have been the
- 13:29Speaker 1: winning goal by just a toe. You know what that means?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Is he game of inches? If that player's shoe size
- 13:38Speaker 1: was one size smaller? Yeah, that's a goal. Davidson Sanchez,
- 13:43Speaker 1: the Kevin Durant is strong in you kd is he?
- 13:49Speaker 1: You know what the D and Davidson stands for Durant.
- 13:53Speaker 3: But look at you, look at and attention looked at you.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You impressed. I knew his name.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I look it up. I'm impressed. You know what off
- 14:01Speaker 3: science is?
- 14:02Speaker 1: I mean, what are we doing?
- 14:05Speaker 3: How's that cheating? No funny?
- 14:08Speaker 1: How the sport that can't tell you when the game
- 14:09Speaker 1: will end can somehow tell you down to the centimeter
- 14:14Speaker 1: if your pinky toe was offside.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Stew these throw ins that you can throw in from
- 14:20Speaker 3: just about anywhere. It doesn't matter where the ball goes out.
- 14:22Speaker 3: And frankly, I feel like half the time the ball
- 14:25Speaker 3: and the person are over the line as they're throwing it. Yeah, no, no,
- 14:28Speaker 3: let's not worry about those details. Offside, like with a magnifying.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Clan, is a good Challengeulous does they challenge it or
- 14:33Speaker 1: it's just an automatic challenges a robot in the sky.
- 14:36Speaker 1: There's nothing more American. They're trying to rewrite the rules
- 14:40Speaker 1: of a sport we only pretend to care about every
- 14:43Speaker 1: four years.
- 14:43Speaker 3: No, but we're right, We're right, we're right. Check in
- 14:48Speaker 3: with America every once in a while, just to perfect your.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Sport, right, But we are doing that.
- 14:53Speaker 3: That's what we do. Yeah, yeah, we have that right
- 14:56Speaker 3: this time, we're host we can do that. We're spoiled.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Here's something ponder I wonder a Portugal would be better
- 15:04Speaker 1: without Ronaldo. No need to discuss now, just stash it
- 15:08Speaker 1: away for a rainy day, although I would say this
- 15:12Speaker 1: would be the time to discuss it.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it would be weird to talk about it after a.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Like if I bring it up after the Bills Chiefs,
- 15:18Speaker 1: that would be a weird time.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I'm so torn on Ronaldo because I can't stand him,
- 15:21Speaker 3: but my nephew absolutely loves him and wants him to
- 15:24Speaker 3: win the World Cup more than anything. Because there's all
- 15:27Speaker 3: this propaganda online about how Ronaldo is the greatest and
- 15:30Speaker 3: it's just like, man, I feel like it's affecting him.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I kind of want him to win.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Cristiano Ronaldo's name doesn't belong in the same sentence as
- 15:37Speaker 1: Lionel Messi, thank you, unless it's to say they don't
- 15:43Speaker 1: belong in the same sentence.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I told her earlier off the air. How I judge
- 15:50Speaker 3: that rivalry is Messi clearly is the winner because he's
- 15:54Speaker 3: been name dropped in so many more rap songs than
- 15:56Speaker 3: Christiano Ronaldo, so clear as it goes.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Someone texted me, if you missed Algeria and Austria, you
- 16:02Speaker 1: missed the match of the Century. I texted them back,

- 16:38Speaker 1: rare tea on a Cinderella run that has yet to
- 16:42Speaker 1: win a game, just great draws. Imagine Jim Valvano's NC
- 16:50Speaker 1: State team getting all the way to the Final four
- 16:52Speaker 1: without winning a game.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I mean, amazing, terrible document that would be in soccer man,
- 17:02Speaker 3: he's the only person who's looking to hug his sister.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I mean, imagine Villanova Raleigh mess Amino win a Natty
- 17:14Speaker 1: they don't win a game. Could you win the World
- 17:18Speaker 1: Cup without winning a game?
- 17:19Speaker 3: In theory?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I guess you can't. You can just get out of.
- 17:21Speaker 3: The group state. You can win a World Cup without
- 17:23Speaker 3: winning a game in regulation with time on the clock,
- 17:26Speaker 3: but you obviously gotta win the pks.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Next up for Cape Verde, Argentina and Lionel MESSI good luck.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I need a second Cape.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Hey, soccer, don't turn me into a soccer guy and
- 17:42Speaker 1: then give me one match on Sunday.
- 17:44Speaker 3: One terrible match on Sunday.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It's disrespectful, Seriously, it is. I mean, I'm trying to
- 17:48Speaker 1: get into the game.
- 17:49Speaker 3: On the day of American football. Give us some good football.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Just give me some more, and you gave us Canada.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Snooze fest of a game. That game was terrible.
- 18:00Speaker 3: You say so.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Anyway, the Hornets are acquiring two thousand and thirty three
- 18:12Speaker 1: first round picks like they know something about that class
- 18:16Speaker 1: that we don't.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Is that the greatest segue in the history of sports
- 18:20Speaker 3: radio because anything can be talked about, and when he
- 18:23Speaker 3: just gives like a slurring anyway, it's just like anything
- 18:26Speaker 3: could be next. We know this is moving We're moving
- 18:29Speaker 3: on from this subject and we're going to something better
- 18:31Speaker 3: and Stu Gods gave it to us in the perfect delivery.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So the kids in that twenty thirty three first round
- 18:37Speaker 2: class right now would be eleven or twelve years old.
- 18:40Speaker 1: The Hornets know something.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Keep an eye out anyway, vand scouting.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Jah Morant linked to the Miami Heat pat Riley not
- 18:52Speaker 1: that kind of shooter. Why'd you do finger guns there?
- 18:58Speaker 2: Because that's what does I know?
- 19:01Speaker 3: Well, why'd you do it?
- 19:03Speaker 1: You had to? Yeah, headline. The Miami Heat won't be
- 19:10Speaker 1: signing anymore into the Cumpo brothers. They have to save
- 19:15Speaker 1: their nepotism roster spot for Lebron's family.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Wait a second, they need them.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I know they need Bronny, and if if Bron's a
- 19:25Speaker 1: good father, he will sign with Miami.
- 19:27Speaker 3: However, the Antio cupo, No, no, that's unnecessary. I'm sorry,
- 19:30Speaker 3: all right.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Carmelo Anthony saying analytics should only be used for role
- 19:36Speaker 1: players and not stars taking twenty plus shots a night
- 19:40Speaker 1: might be the most Carmelo Anthony take of all time.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Who Carmelo? No?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Okay, because after the Knicks one I forgot all about him?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Is he?
- 19:50Speaker 1: You know what the A and Carmelo Anthony stands for? No,
- 19:53Speaker 1: not analytics? Jaylen Brown some advice. Do with it what
- 20:01Speaker 1: you will. Log off, man, That dude is so smart.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Just log off though. Yeah, seriously, if I signed the contract,
- 20:13Speaker 1: Jayleen Brown, did I promise you'd never hear from me again?
- 20:19Speaker 3: You can barely hear from you now, log off? Right,
- 20:23Speaker 3: We're still guys. We don't know two hours of dead.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Hey, analytics guy, if your model says Jalen Brown is
- 20:29Speaker 1: the seventh best player on a team, your model probably
- 20:33Speaker 1: stinks and you should probably have it looked at by
- 20:36Speaker 1: Bill James.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Name yours.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Such a weird thing to throw out there?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Well, is Bobby Marks telling a story, right. Bobby Mark
- 20:43Speaker 1: didn't say it. He was actually kind of disputing it now.
- 20:46Speaker 3: He was saying, what a ridiculous thing I heard from
- 20:49Speaker 3: this scout who said that Jalen Brown was such and such.
- 20:53Speaker 1: You're mad about it, tailor, I can tell yeah why.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I just feel like the narrative around Jalen Brown has
- 21:03Speaker 2: flipped so much right now where it's like, what are
- 21:06Speaker 2: we talking about?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Well, the way some people talk about Jalen Brown, you
- 21:11Speaker 1: think he was fighting for a roster spot, not MVP votes.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You let me right there.
- 21:18Speaker 2: People are like, we have to break the Celtics team up.
- 21:20Speaker 2: They won a title two years ago.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I think his hair at the beginning of the season
- 21:24Speaker 3: was the last straw the Celtics. They're like, we don't
- 21:26Speaker 3: need this on our roster.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I trade for Jalen Brown today just because of the
- 21:30Speaker 1: chip they are putting on his shoulder. I would trade
- 21:34Speaker 1: for just the chip.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Bag of chips.
- 21:39Speaker 1: The Magic waved Jonathan Isaac. The news to me here
- 21:50Speaker 1: was that Jonathan Isaac was still playing for the Magic.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, two first names.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You're right, guy's a great pick cup mid season. If
- 22:00Speaker 1: you need blocks fantasy.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Pickup, is you need some locker room tension.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Mister Mett dancing behind Steve Gelbs as he discussed the
- 22:10Speaker 1: firing of Carlos Mendoza. Hey, mister Matt read the room.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Dare I say video of the year. That's so good.
- 22:21Speaker 2: That was the funniest video I've watched this year. And
- 22:25Speaker 2: nothing encapsulates more the dysfunction of the Mets' and Steve
- 22:30Speaker 2: Gelbs trying to fight through his professionalism, breaking down the
- 22:34Speaker 2: firing and how bad the situation is. And mister Mett
- 22:38Speaker 2: just hitting like these groovy dance moves right behind him,
- 22:41Speaker 2: just having the time of his life.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I gotta be honest, I don't want mister Mett to
- 22:45Speaker 1: read the room. I loved it. It's the greatest story
- 22:49Speaker 1: of the weekend, maybe the year. He needs to raise
- 22:52Speaker 1: and he can't.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Read a room.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'm pretty certain when you have the mascot uniform, you
- 22:56Speaker 1: can't hear anything, you can't see anything.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Those eyes aren't real. How can you read that room?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yeah? No idea Gelvis was talking about or doing. I mean,
- 23:02Speaker 1: get Gelbs on the show.
- 23:04Speaker 3: It's a great name.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I just wanted I want Gelbs to put us there
- 23:10Speaker 1: as he's talking about the firing of Mendoza and mister
- 23:13Speaker 1: Mett is having a party behind him.

- 23:19Speaker 3: met was probably celebrating because you know, missus Matt Sunday,
- 23:22Speaker 3: Baby doesn't matter what. Mascots can't have sex.
- 23:32Speaker 1: They can't hear or see.
- 23:34Speaker 3: That doesn't mean they can't feel. Baby.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Put it on the Paul Taylor, somebody called Jess can
- 23:43Speaker 1: mascots field.
- 23:46Speaker 3: In the Penis Area.
- 23:50Speaker 1: OJ Simpson will not be included at the new high
- 23:54Speaker 1: Mark Stadium. It appears the juice has been cut loose.
- 24:00Speaker 3: He can't he can't open up a stadium called high
- 24:03Speaker 3: Mark and then celebrate the lowest mark of your entire franchise.
- 24:07Speaker 1: To be fair, a white Bronco and did Buffalo season
- 24:11Speaker 1: last year in the divisional round.
- 24:18Speaker 3: They brought back the Bronco, which is a good movie.
- 24:20Speaker 3: It's a good looking car. Now.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Dan Lebotard taking my name off the show after saying
- 24:27Speaker 1: he'd never take my name off the show, Dan Lebotard,
- 24:31Speaker 1: the Stugatts is strong in you, Dan Lebotard taking my
- 24:39Speaker 1: name off the show and then taking the week off
- 24:44Speaker 1: Dan Lebotard, The stug Gotts is even stronger in you
- 24:49Speaker 1: made sick. I gotta be honest. I don't think I've
- 24:51Speaker 1: ever been prouder of them. Hey, it's amazing.
- 24:57Speaker 3: That is rich right there? Great seguey again, thank you.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Anyway, Ivory Coast hadn't reached the knockout round in their
- 25:10Speaker 1: three previous World Cups.
- 25:12Speaker 3: You of course know what.
- 25:13Speaker 1: That means, is he they were dude, they were less
- 25:17Speaker 1: elephants and more we No, No, nine African countries qualify
- 25:26Speaker 1: for the round of thirty two. Been saying it all year.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Africa has the deepest conference in soccer regular sec over there.

- 25:38Speaker 2: Japan though, Well, for oh, why does.
- 25:41Speaker 3: It feel like thirty two teams in the knockout round

- 25:57Speaker 1: about it, Usa, USA, You care care about Winny wit bets.
- 26:04Speaker 1: If Shakira's career was only her World Cup songs, she'd
- 26:09Speaker 1: still be a first ballad Hall of Famer.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That was a rough one.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Hey, Shakira, do it without the World Cup?
- 26:16Speaker 2: This is a terrible take by you.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah, she has. She has done so much without the
- 26:21Speaker 3: World Cup.
- 26:22Speaker 2: She's like a massive first ballot Hall of Famer.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Yes, and Shakira stands for Stu Gott's was wrong.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Hips don't lie.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Put it on the poll, Hips don't lie.
