• 0:32
Speaker 1: Yes, sir, big shout outs to everybody that took the time to recognize a brilliant player in there, for sure, and definitely thanks so much, d Hustle, for that round of applause.
• 0:43
Speaker 3: Thank y'all for tuning in to the Tech Hustle.
• 0:45
Speaker 3: We had a dream baby.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, for sure.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: So I'm gonna give y'all the lineup of today's conversation and how we're gonna break it down.

• 0:56
Speaker 1: I know the kids were at the house chilling.
• 0:58
Speaker 1: How was the kids Raymond?
• 0:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, we're good good, yeah, yeah actually Raymond real quick.
• 1:01
Speaker 1: I heard you had a little adventure the other day.
• 1:04
Speaker 2: What would you end up going player Hold on a minute.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: I'll get them started early.
• 1:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, we dusted up the Go-Kart.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa whoa yes, the Electric Go-Kart, the.
• 1:15
  Speaker 2: Electric Go-Kart.
• 1:16
Speaker 2: It was dusted up cobwebs and everything literally had cobwebs on it.
• 1:19
Speaker 2: Everything Put it in the car.
• 1:22
Speaker 2: Yesterday we went to the two parks and we yeah, we had an adventure yesterday.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: Aha, de-hustle, did you hear that?
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: Yeah?
• 1:30
Speaker 3: I'm glad it's being you that's so interesting Glad it's getting some miles on it, the people out there that don't know.
• 1:37
Speaker 3: My man, raymond, got a nice little Go-Kart.
• 1:40
Speaker 3: Unfortunately he's not able to drive it around the community due to a whole bunch of carins A-A-H-O-A's, but I'm more than happy to pick it up out of his hands, and he is not letting it go.
• 1:51
Speaker 3: He'd rather have cobwebs go all over it than to give it to your boy over here.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: But I will say at least it got used this weekend.
• 2:00
Speaker 3: I mean that's good, At least I know it still works.
• 2:02
  Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
• 2:03
Speaker 1: At least you know it still works.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Right, it still works.
• 2:06
Speaker 3: We're still working on it All right, fellas.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: All right, so let's run down the show today.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: So what we're going to kick off is a tech talk by me.
• 2:12
Speaker 1: Big shout out to another mentee of mine Yo, we really got some listeners Give them a round of applause, for sure Listening into the podcast, and she threw me a really nice question which I'm really going to be able to open up.
• 2:24
Speaker 1: But the topic or the title of the tech talk is going to be automating yourself out of a job and this is when I used to work at Twitter, and we'll go into a little bit more details After which, we'll have D Hustle for some quick news.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: We're going to have Raymond's Nuggets Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray, my guy.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: He got some sites that we're going to check out, and then I know D Hustle's waiting for this, especially with the results of some of the sporting events that we had.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: It's going to be fire.
• 2:53
Speaker 1: You better listen to the end of this podcast, for sure, because D Hustle is going to give us some sports updates, some current events, and definitely big shout out to our sponsors, where we're going to spend some time recognizing our sponsor, and then I'm going to close it out.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: How's that sound, fellas?
• 3:07
Speaker 1: Sounds good to me yeah, how about your audience?
• 3:08
Speaker 1: What do y'all think Y'all ready?
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: Yeah, look good.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: Oh, ray Ray, let's go.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: I like it, I like it.
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: All right, fellas.
• 3:15
Speaker 1: Well, d Hustle, cue me up with some music, man.
• 3:17
Speaker 3: Let me get a little bit started man.
• 3:19
Speaker 3: Ok, I already know what's happening, numbers going up, make it split like this.
• 3:22
Speaker 2: You know how I like this.
• 3:23
Speaker 3: Oh, gave a good news, gave a good news, gave a good little inspection.
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: Woo.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: Thank you so much, D Hustle.
• 3:29
Speaker 1: We're going to jump right into our tech talk today and this afternoon or this morning, I don't know where you're at around the world.
• 3:35
Speaker 1: I just hope you listen, and then I'm going to be talking about a question that came in by a mentee of mine.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: I'm wanting to wanting me to dive more deeper into some of the things I worked on while I worked at Twitter.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: So, if you all did not know and I really want to encourage you all to research each member of the podcast, but also pull me up on LinkedIn and check out some of my work history and where I've worked at in the past and just to brush my shoulders off a little bit, just a little bit.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: So I worked at Twitter for about almost 10 years.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: You just hold on.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, big shout outs.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: Did you guys know?
• 4:09
Speaker 1: If you did know, now you know, and I worked there at becoming a staff engineer, a very high level engineer managing large infrastructures around the world.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: But one of the cool things about my job is I actually really got to invent some really cool software, some really cool things that, unfortunately, the world's not going to know about unless I talk about it, because Elon Musk bought that thing and anything outside of that is his.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: But as the mentee reached out to me was like hey, bobby D, why don't you tell us something that cool that you worked on, if you invented something or a programming language that you used to really develop some of this stuff?
• 4:44
Speaker 1: I wanted to talk to you all about a concept or actually a practice.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: It's more of a mantra of mine called automating yourself out of a job, and it's basically one of the things that I did working at Twitter, which is writing software to automate tedious tasks that I don't have to worry about, my team doesn't have to worry about and guess what it automatically happens, and the tool that I create, or help create, because, number one, it's not only me that worked on this tool, so don't nobody come back and be like hey, bobby said that he did everything.
• 5:14
Speaker 1: I didn't do everything, but you know, your boy was at the keyboard getting it in for short.
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: That's right, thanks.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: So the tool that I'm going to talk about is a really cool tool and we called it AutoBird.
• 5:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know AutoBird.
• 5:26
Speaker 1: Yes, twitter, every tool we had had a bird name with it.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: I created something called Rocketbird.
• 5:32
Speaker 1: One time we had Bluebird, we had Goldbird, we had so many services and softwares with bird's names.
• 5:38
Speaker 1: But the one I'm going to talk about now is called AutoBird, and to define what it was, it was a fully automated provisioning system.
• 5:45
Speaker 1: I know some of you all be like what is he talking about?
• 5:48
Speaker 1: And some of you all be like, oh, that's kind of cool.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: So let me give you the example, or the problem that we're solving Now.
• 5:54
Speaker 1: Alex, raymond, this Raymond, have you ever installed a server before?
• 5:58
Speaker 1: Yes, and you had to actually install the operating system, right, and then you had to install the applications, right.
• 6:05
Speaker 1: And or you had to physically install it inside of a data center, right.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: And if you're not familiar with a data center, a data center is a building like a warehouse size, and the thing working at Twitter is we had hundreds of thousands of computers, the same servers that Raymond was talking about that we had to install in these buildings.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: Now we had them from the floor to the ceiling and I'm telling you it's one of the most craziest things I've ever seen seeing all those computers in one place.
• 6:30
Speaker 1: It literally felt like I was in the middle of the internet.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: But the thing is is that if you think about what I just asked Raymond as an individual, he's doing that for one computer and one person.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: What if we had to do that for tens of thousands of computers?
• 6:43
Speaker 1: Do we have to hire tens of thousands of Raymans or myself to go and do it?
• 6:46
Speaker 1: Yes, do you think?
• 6:48
  Speaker 2: so.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: That's why D-Hus is like yo write them checks right, or do you do something that I'm very well versed at is automating yourself out of those jobs, which is we no longer needed an individual to go plug in the computer to install the operating system or to configure the applications for it.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: All we needed them to do was rack, stack that computer, plug it in, plug in the network and walk away.
• 7:13
Speaker 1: And that's the automation that I created, which is, once you press that Power button, we no longer needed to touch that computer again, because we fully automated the boot process.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: We fully automated the operating system installation.
• 7:26
Speaker 1: We fully automated everything that you needed to do to make sure that computer was ready to go within an hour and a half from the time we powered it on.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: And that's the thing that we were really working towards is, how fast can we get computers into our data centers, power them on and get them to serve production, traffic and AutoBird, the tool that I worked on and really helped invent, was the foundational tools to be able to do that, because it took advantage of things like the Linux boot process, which we talked about two or three episodes ago.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: So definitely check that out.
• 7:56
Speaker 1: It took advantage of something called Pixie Booting, which is booting off of the network, so you didn't really need to have someone there to pop in a CD.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember those good old days, randy.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: You're like popping in a CD, one CD after the other, or even I'll even go further back D Hustle might know this using floppy drives to actually install operating systems right, what is that?
• 8:15
Speaker 1: A quarter inch floppy drive right?
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: That's archaic, right.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: Two, where we are now, where everything is streamed across an internal network so that you can easily bring computers into your environment.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: Now, I know I'm simplifying it by describing it as a fully automated provisioning system, but just imagine that we install 10,000 computers today.
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: Let's say, this morning it's almost 10 30 AM.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: By 11 30 AM, 10,000 computers were ready for production traffic.
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: That was amazing.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: That was one of the for sure, like it blew my mind once we were able to fully automate this task because it really automated myself out of a job.
• 8:56
Speaker 1: We had a team of eight engineers and it came down to.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: Everybody decided to either leave Twitter, go work on another team, and I was the last man standing on that team and all I had to do was support that software called Alderbird.
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: That's wild.
• 9:09
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: And it's crazy because the last part of that software was I was the only individual left, but I didn't want to sit there and work on that anymore because I wanted to go work on some new cool stuff.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: So I closed the gap in automation and literally, I promise you, it ran for almost a year and a half and nobody knew that there was nobody else like an individual working on it.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: Right, we automated the hell out of that thing.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: And big shout-outs to the fleet management team what up, fleet management?
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Big shout-outs to Provisioning Engineering what's going on?
• 9:37
Speaker 1: Big shout-outs to all the teams that I worked with at Twitter.
• 9:40
Speaker 1: That really gave me the opportunity to scale Twitter at a level that the world doesn't even really know what we did, but also really invent some cool software to automate ourselves out of a job.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: Now just dial back a little bit Programming language.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: All of that was written in Python.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: Have you heard of Python?
• 9:57
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, python is one of those easy to adopt, easy to learn language and I used the word easy and the sense of it's a very Phonic language.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: The way that you read it is the way that it works.
• 10:08
Speaker 1: And the other cool thing is is that that Programming language has so many libraries, so many frameworks that allows you to build some automation like the one I just described.
• 10:18
Speaker 1: And if there is any recommendation that I want to make sure I drop here for anyone listening in, especially if you're pursuing a Field of engineering, is learn Python.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: It's not going nowhere, it's gonna only be used even more and it's a great language to transition to other language Languages.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: But I also tell you that out of hundreds of candidates I've interviewed over the years, the language that has worked out the most for the most of the candidates is Python.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: All the other ones I get it, but Python hands down.
• 10:46
Speaker 1: Automating myself out of job.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: Thank you to the universe that I had a chance to work on Python at that scale, to have a really in-depth understanding of how computers work and how to reduce a team from eight engineers to one and then eventually Automating myself out of a job.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: And then that thing ran for a year and a half and nobody even knew how much it boys.
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: Bobby D.
• 11:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I got any questions to follow up before we jump into the next topic.
• 11:13
Speaker 3: I spy don't want us to other people, other representatives use.
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: Programming language wise.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: So Python is obviously the one that I would highly recommend, is probably one of the easier ones.
• 11:23
Speaker 1: Another one is a Java, which is a Also interpret it programming language.
• 11:29
Speaker 1: There's something called a JVM, which makes it ability for the program you write to run on any computers.
• 11:34
Speaker 1: It's the next level up and more back-end systems.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: I would say, if you really want to go low level, there's a programming language I would encourage everyone, especially if your systems engineering, software engineering, looking to get into is go-ling.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: It's go is the acronym, but it's called go-ling and it's produced by Google, one of coolest programming languages out there.
• 11:55
Speaker 1: Another one that would really go lower level I would say CC plus plus, but I'm gonna give you a newer one is called rust, our UST, and it's the next level of programming language.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: To kind of take that Interpreted language, basically I'm sorry compiled language so that you can write code that runs even more faster.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: So those would be some of the lower back-end programming languages, and then I'll throw in just a few others.
• 12:16
Speaker 1: So you have front-end languages.
• 12:17
Speaker 1: If you're learning front-end and you want to do web development, I say learn JavaScript.
• 12:21
Speaker 1: I know there's react, angularjs, those are all frameworks, libraries on top of it, but learn the foundational JavaScript, including HTML and CSS, but JavaScript more specifically.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: And then if you're gonna go to the client end, that's gonna be Android and iOS development, swift, and, and Android is also like a Java based programming language.
• 12:40
Speaker 1: So once you learn Java, you kind of can go back and forth.
• 12:43
Speaker 1: But of them all, python is definitely my number one.
• 12:46
Speaker 1: And let me put in the plug real quick.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: Y'all know we have a github Repository out there, right, and big shout-outs to everybody that's supporting us on github.
• 12:54
Speaker 1: We really do appreciate you.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: So there is a repository that we have on github to learn Python.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: I just published it the other day.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: It's a course that goes into details about basic understandings of how Python works and if you're looking to level up, come and I'll let you boy over here at the tech hustle.
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: We got you.
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: That's great.
• 13:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's githubcom slash the tech hustle.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: All right, fellas, any other questions?
• 13:20
Speaker 2: Hopefully you got some life-long lessons in there on that.
• 13:23
Speaker 2: You know, digging yourself a job, automating yourself out of a job in the future.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: Uh-huh, so life lesson.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: So one of the things that a lot of people whenever I say automating myself out of a job, they feel like I'm gonna get laid off.
• 13:35
Speaker 1: And the cool thing about automating yourself out of a job is that you're automating yourself so that you can work on other things.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: You don't want to only be working on the same thing over and over for three, four or five years is like hey, if you can Automate some of the tasks that you do, it's gonna open up more opportunities for you to scale and also grow in your career.
• 13:54
Speaker 1: So that's always my feedback whenever I hear you know A little bit of like what do you mean?
• 13:58
Speaker 1: Automate yourself out of a job?
• 13:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean automate yourself out of this job so you can work on that job and that job and that job and continue to develop your skill sets.
• 14:07
Speaker 1: Does that make sense, raymond?
• 14:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense Okay don't be scared, bro, automate.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: Yeah for sure, for sure.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: All right y'all.
• 14:16
Speaker 1: So another, another opportunity for anybody else, if you do have a topic.
• 14:20
Speaker 1: You want me to dive deeper in talking about my time working at Twitter, my time working at Citrix Systems, working for a state, local government.
• 14:27
Speaker 1: I don't even know if you all knew, but I used to travel the world, for, you know, three to five years working on cruise ships.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: So I got so many gems and stories that, if you did not know, come and holler at your boy, I got it for you for a while around the world.
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: All right now.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: So I think we we about ready for the, for the next big introduction here.
• 14:48
Speaker 1: Let me see if I got something for you.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: Let me see we got my guy D hustle giving us some news update.
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: What up?
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: Player.
• 14:59
  Speaker 3: What's going on?
• 15:00
Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, hope everybody had a good weekend, good three-day weekend.
• 15:03
Speaker 3: Before I get into it, man, I just want to know if everybody's starting the year hitting the gym.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: Oh that's always on top of the list.
• 15:17
  Speaker 3: It's always.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: It's always the type of everybody getting.
• 15:19
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean.
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: I'm always.
• 15:21
Speaker 3: Everybody's always going to the gym.
• 15:22
Speaker 3: Gym, I'm trying to slim up.
• 15:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, new gym clothes and everything.
• 15:33
Speaker 3: I came across this guy, man, my man, shout out to Richard Morgan here, I mean it's 93 years old, 93.
• 15:41
Speaker 3: As a 40 year old guy, my man has been working out hard.
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: That's what's up.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: Man, that's impressive 93 years old, and he said he got to body like a 40 year old body like a, I mean so everybody.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: Just hey, if he can do it, everybody can do it for sure, for sure around.
• 15:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's impressive, Wow.
• 16:01
Speaker 2: And then I guess.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: Just heads up for the audience.
• 16:02
Speaker 1: We threw it inside of our Discord podcast so you could definitely be able to see those links there.
• 16:08
Speaker 2: It's very active, huh.
• 16:11
Speaker 3: Yeah next thing up is my Microsoft.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Oh, what's up with Microsoft?
• 16:15
Speaker 1: What's going on with them?
• 16:17
Speaker 3: price premium version for a co-pilot AI software for customers at $20 User that's what's up.
• 16:26
Speaker 3: That's what's up now you guys want to use the AI.
• 16:28
  Speaker 1: Yeah that's.
• 16:29
  Speaker 3: Where is that?
• 16:30
Speaker 1: So this is gonna be a co-pilot AI software.
• 16:33
Speaker 1: And $20 per user that's definitely gonna open it up.
• 16:37
  Speaker 1: What's up D I'm in Raymond.
• 16:38
Speaker 2: Is this different from chadgbt, or is this like a partnership or what?
• 16:42
Speaker 1: I think it looks like it's gonna be foundationally off of chat GPT.
• 16:45
Speaker 1: Chat GPT turbo is gonna be what it's backed by, but it's gonna have the ability to access your Microsoft Word, excel, powerpoint, outlook.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: Note one I mean yo, this co-pilot thing is really gonna change the game for you know, office working and stuff like that.
• 17:00
  Speaker 2: Yep, that's what's up Interesting?
• 17:02
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah yeah, I started playing more with the chat, gpt and stuff like that, so in the last couple of weeks.
• 17:08
  Speaker 2: Okay, that's interesting.
• 17:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's always leveling up and and I don't know if you've been listening to this podcast audience, but I use it on a daily basis and I would highly recommend highly recommend everybody getting familiarized with it.
• 17:20
Speaker 3: Yeah what else you got D?
• 17:22
Speaker 3: Do you know that Apple Don't know if you heard Apple tries to tell dozens of their employees Mm-hmm to San Diego, austin or not.
• 17:30
Speaker 3: They get laid off.
• 17:31
  Speaker 3: What?
• 17:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, yo that's crazy, it's a big thing.
• 17:35
Speaker 3: I'll just put it on there on the board there.
• 17:37
Speaker 3: Basically, what's going on is that they have 121 employees in San Diego to relocate Austin.
• 17:43
Speaker 3: If not, they're going to be facing laid off.
• 17:46
Speaker 2: I'm not sure why.
• 17:47
Speaker 3: I mean not to.
• 17:48
Speaker 3: They will be terminated on April 26.
• 17:50
  Speaker 3: Report says so.
• 17:52
  Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
• 17:52
Speaker 3: Giant tech issues a Automatum of giving workers until the end of February to choose whether they want to move.

• 18:11
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, that's pretty tough.
• 18:13
Speaker 2: I mean, what would you guys do in that situation?
• 18:16
Speaker 3: Well, they're gonna pay for everything for me to move.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: The house is like they had the moving costs a little bit of a bonus.
• 18:23
Speaker 3: We're gonna have a place, because interest levels nowadays looking for apartments, everything is up.
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure.
• 18:29
Speaker 3: Are you gonna compensate for that?

Speaker 3: You gotta ask these questions.
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: Yeah, sure.
• 18:33
Speaker 3: You know, are we moving into a new area.
• 18:36
Speaker 3: Are you providing housing?

• 18:40
  Speaker 1: from correct.
• 18:41

• 18:46
Speaker 3: What am I doing?
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: Yeah, that's terrible.
• 18:48
Speaker 2: I mean, ideally you would think Austin is cheaper than San Diego.
• 18:52
Speaker 1: I mean, you know, ideally, but Austin's coming up though.
• 18:54
Speaker 1: I mean it's a tech scene over there, yeah no, I've heard Austin is a big tech scene.

• 25:47
Speaker 2: They do have, you know, a paid version if you need to send more than two gigs, but you can send up to two gigs completely for free.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: That's what, if you want to bypass.

• 26:18
Speaker 1: You put impression on the mail system, yeah.

• 26:25
Speaker 2: So yeah, check out we transfer.
• 26:26
Speaker 2: That might work for you.
• 26:27
Speaker 1: You know a two gig XL spreadsheet.
• 26:32
  Speaker 2: How many formulas?
• 26:35
Speaker 3: That's what's up to kick XL.
• 26:37
  Speaker 1: That's what's up.
• 26:38
  Speaker 1: D How's it doing work?
• 26:38
  Speaker 1: That's what I'm doing.
• 26:39
Speaker 1: I'm doing what I gotta do.
• 26:43
Speaker 3: Now I gotta break it down.
• 26:44
Speaker 3: Why don't you tell me something?
• 26:45
Speaker 3: Tell me at least you're getting up to two gigs, so I won't have to freakin send it.

Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: Well, raymond, always thank you so much for those tech nuggets and definitely keep tuning in and Raymond be dropping some gems, yeah.

• 27:07
Speaker 1: Me too, especially that sound.
• 27:09
Speaker 1: And don't forget, don't call my guy ray.
• 27:15
Speaker 3: Next up, so we got to see something about re-read.
• 27:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure we're gonna get some clarity on that.
• 27:19
Speaker 1: For sure that's gonna be the nugget, though.
• 27:21
  Speaker 1: Well, why?
• 27:22
Speaker 1: Why do you don't want you to call you ray ray?
• 27:26
Speaker 1: All right, fellas, all right.
• 27:30
Speaker 1: So I think we were gonna move on to the next segment here.
• 27:33
Speaker 1: Let me cue something up real quick.
• 27:35
  Speaker 1: No, not yet.
• 27:40
Speaker 3: Put the news thing off on which?
• 27:41
Speaker 1: well, you want the news.
• 27:42
Speaker 1: I got you, I got you I got you.
• 27:44
Speaker 3: I'm trying to figure this guy out here.
• 27:50
Speaker 1: Go ahead, the hustle what you got playing.
• 27:53
  Speaker 3: Bit of it.
• 27:53
Speaker 3: Live here in WBG.
• 27:54
Speaker 3: And why the tech hustle the tech.
• 27:56
Speaker 3: So, your man, you talking about Elon Musk.
• 28:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I gotta mention Elon Musk's again.
• 28:03
Speaker 3: Ma okay, no must check this out.
• 28:05
Speaker 3: Hmm issues an AI threat if he doesn't have more Tesla control.
• 28:12
  Speaker 3: What?
• 28:14
Speaker 1: I thought he owned Tesla.
• 28:15
Speaker 1: Hmm, I thought he did own Tesla too.
• 28:16
Speaker 1: What's he talking about, confused hmm, an AI threat?
• 28:20
Speaker 3: and AI threat if he doesn't take, I guess.
• 28:22
Speaker 3: So basically, in a month's Monday, sat down social media Uncomfortable, growing Tesla to be a leader in AI and robotics without having 25% voting control.
• 28:32
Speaker 3: Hmm the chief executive added that he wants enough shares to be Influited Not so much that I can be overturned.
• 28:43
Speaker 1: Okay, you know what the details in.
• 28:45
Speaker 1: Alright, so this is what it is.
• 28:46
Speaker 1: So you know, a company is a hundred percent right.
• 28:48
Speaker 1: He doesn't own a hundred percent of Tesla.
• 28:51
Speaker 1: He owns 22% of Tesla.
• 28:55
Speaker 3: That's just so big, but yeah, yeah, that's still, that's still.
• 28:59
Speaker 1: At least two or three percent.
• 29:01
Speaker 1: But because he doesn't own enough percentages, he can't like be the Definitive like yo.
• 29:08
Speaker 1: We gonna do this right.
• 29:09
Speaker 1: I'm amazed he doesn't have like 56% of yeah, interesting 50 51% but, sometimes you got to let stuff go so you can get investors and also be in position so that you can Open up more flow for money.
• 29:20
Speaker 1: But yeah, it looks like he owns 22% and now he said, hey, I want 25% so I can control the vote to push Tesla in the direction that he wants to go.
• 29:30
  Speaker 2: Interesting.
• 29:30
Speaker 2: Okay, but he's the CEO.
• 29:32
Speaker 2: So, being that, he owns that percentage and being the CEO, that's not enough to make not enough, not enough.
• 29:37
Speaker 3: So he has a very knocker.
• 29:39
Speaker 3: Elon Musk basically has nearly 30% in stakes in Tesla.
• 29:43
Speaker 3: Mm-hmm prior to selling TS LA, she has to purchase Twitter now X to 44 billion.
• 29:50
Speaker 1: I remember that, I remember that right, but one more doesn't need.
• 29:54
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean.
• 29:55
Speaker 1: Well, the thing is is that when you are publicly traded company and you have the title as CEO, you technically have to report to a board.
• 30:03
Speaker 1: Now the board are the ones that are focusing on whatever the shareholders Wants to do.
• 30:08
Speaker 1: Now, if the shareholders are more than more than Elon Musk basically, let's say that it's 88% says no, guess what?
• 30:17
Speaker 1: Elon Musk have to side with what that 88% said, which is no.
• 30:20
Speaker 1: So that's where he's really just battling it out, in my opinion.
• 30:25
Speaker 3: So he needs more shareholders, so what he can sell.
• 30:28
Speaker 1: I don't know, he might go and buy something else.
• 30:32
Speaker 3: What basically comes up to my next thing.
• 30:33
Speaker 3: So basically, right now, space X.
• 30:35
Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys seen space, space X his third or fourth company.
• 30:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, launch the Starlink satellite.
• 30:42
Speaker 3: Remember he was talking about starlings on cake when I was.
• 30:45
Speaker 3: I don't know if you seen that or not.
• 30:46
Speaker 1: Oh, that's what's up, so just for everybody.
• 30:49
Speaker 1: So Starlink is a wireless Satellite internet system that Elon Musk is pushing through the space X program, basically shooting these things up in space and you said that there was a launch the other day and Cape Canaveral.
• 31:04
  Speaker 3: Cape Canaveral.
• 31:04
Speaker 1: Oh, this is the 12.
• 31:06
Speaker 3: Wow 12 flight for the first stage.
• 31:08
Speaker 3: I think that's been more than answer, yeah wow, space X is killing it bro.
• 31:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, so they just brought up another satellite up there for his Starlink.
• 31:16
Speaker 1: Okay, yes, it carried 23 Starlink satellites and to low Earth's orbit on Sunday.
• 31:22
Speaker 1: Wow, I don't know if you have ever seen it before, but there are and I have to look it up and I'll drop it in the newsletter for you to check it out.
• 31:30
Speaker 1: But there are maps to tell you where the satellites are positioned and if it's a clear night, you can actually go out there and see the satellite pass by like a cluster of them pass by.
• 31:39
Speaker 1: And it's basically Yo, I see something.
• 31:45
Speaker 1: Yo, what is that?
• 31:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, that has confused the goons, or?
• 31:51
Speaker 1: yeah, yeah, a couple of times in the group chat.
• 31:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, for sure, but that's what's up, man.
• 31:56
Speaker 2: Well, I'm excited about the Um Advancements were making one more thing, speaking of Elon, what up Tesla and all that?
• 32:03
Speaker 2: Did you guys see Offset?
• 32:05
  Speaker 2: I guess that's a Cardi B's husband.
• 32:07
Speaker 1: Well, x are they still offset yeah.
• 32:10
Speaker 2: I don't know if they're still married or not, but you see, on where he reached out to Elon directly and always is Tesla.
• 32:16
Speaker 2: He's like yelling at him hey, where's my cyber truck, mr Elon, that I ordered months ago.
• 32:20
Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting.
• 32:22
Speaker 3: I heard that it's true, it's sure, my shit, I'm expecting all these celebrities to have this shit a long time ago.
• 32:29
  Speaker 2: I'm sure.
• 32:30
Speaker 2: So, God, what's the guy for real?
• 32:32
Speaker 2: I saw him driving up to his you know job with the cyber truck.
• 32:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for all guy connections.
• 32:39
Speaker 2: And was it a couple days ago?
• 32:41

• 32:54
Speaker 2: We saw one in person and I'm on board what I said.
• 32:59
Speaker 2: I've been on board, but seeing it in person driving out of the dealership, I was like I still haven't seen Seen one.

• 35:24
Speaker 3: Like he was upset, like he, like he didn't know.
• 35:29
Speaker 1: It was like yo, am I in the right place?
• 35:30
Speaker 1: Like well, is this my stadium.
• 35:34
Speaker 3: Obviously, you're not doing what you need to be doing.

• 36:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's been there for long for Pittsburgh.

• 36:35
Speaker 3: That if Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has interest in Bill Belichick, be on the side.
• 36:43
Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question.
• 36:44
Speaker 2: Do you have, sir?
• 36:44
Speaker 2: Can you see those two eagles fitting in together, jerry Jones and Bill Belichick?
• 36:50
  Speaker 3: I don't see it, I don't see it, I don't hear.
• 36:52
Speaker 1: Well, the thing is that Jerry Jones wants a ring.
• 36:55
Speaker 1: Bro, if you bring in a ring, he's gonna have to with that performance last time.
• 37:00
Speaker 2: He's still in the camera, like all in the video.
• 37:02
  Speaker 2: Like what did?
• 37:03
Speaker 2: Uh, well, you know what the like a ditty, right, yeah, like did he, just like I don't see it.
• 37:09
  Speaker 1: But.
• 37:10
Speaker 1: But the other thing is you, you giving us a little bit soft over here on the dolphin side, man, we we didn't really have, uh, yeah.
• 37:17
Speaker 3: To give you a remand, a chance to get a remand a chance, so um, I don't know if you guys seen the cancer series.
• 37:22
Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, the dolphins.
• 37:23
  Speaker 1: Yeah, that was.
• 37:24
Speaker 3: There's a lot of uh Quietness going on here, but we're gonna break that into right now because we have a beautiful my uh, actually we got two dolphin fans here.
• 37:35
Speaker 3: I don't know if people know, yeah, yeah, I'll be not so much, but Raymond, but what do you mean?
• 37:40
Speaker 1: not so much, I mean, I am a dolphins fan.
• 37:43
Speaker 3: I'm in south float.
• 37:43
Speaker 3: I represent home team.
• 37:44
Speaker 3: Raymond, I need to hear about you.
• 37:46
Speaker 3: Anybody got some tissues here.
• 37:49
Speaker 3: First of all, what was it?
• 37:53
  Speaker 3: Negative eight degrees.
• 37:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, and let's talk about that.
• 37:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, nfl should have moved that game.
• 37:58
  Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
• 37:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we don't.
• 38:00
Speaker 1: We don't play well in those type of weather.
• 38:01
  Speaker 2: No, we don't.
• 38:02
Speaker 2: I mean you got a bunch of florida guys.
• 38:03
Speaker 2: Florida is going down there.
• 38:05
Speaker 2: I mean, for god sakes, the kansas city chief's coach, his mustache was frozen.
• 38:10
Speaker 2: His mustache was frozen, for god sakes.
• 38:13
Speaker 2: I mean even the weatherman stated cover every extremities you have going to this game.
• 38:18
Speaker 3: But what the heck he was doing?
• 38:20
Speaker 2: Yeah but you know, hey, that's what it is.
• 38:22
Speaker 2: This is my rant, that every team should have a dome.
• 38:24
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, yeah, so but I would say that our roster was also our biggest challenge too.
• 38:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, roster was depleted, but still, it's football, you gotta.
• 38:33
Speaker 2: You know no excuses.
• 38:34
Speaker 2: So they are the defending champs and we got a buttbeat.
• 38:38
  Speaker 2: Offense was trash.
• 38:39
Speaker 3: You got your ass.
• 38:41
Speaker 2: There's no sugarcoating it Crash.
• 38:46
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, tua played like crap what the fuck is Tua.
• 38:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, this scene needs to be reevaluated.
• 38:52
Speaker 3: Listen, ladies and gentlemen.
• 38:53
Speaker 3: If you guys don't hear now, on days in football, if your quarterback is not mobile, here's no need for you to play.
• 39:01
Speaker 3: You do not have a line like tom brady had back in the days.
• 39:06
Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, there is lines like that, like that garbage philadelphia team that fucking lost oh.
• 39:12
  Speaker 1: Philadelphia also.
• 39:13
Speaker 3: Philadelphia lost, have a great line protect the jail and hurts, and still can't make nothing going off.
• 39:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean why top team?
• 39:20
Speaker 3: They were in the same sense.
• 39:21
Speaker 3: Since their bye week, yeah, they've been losing consistently.
• 39:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, they started off 10 and 1 and they went 1 and 6.
• 39:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's five games, wow the last five games with 1 and 6.
• 39:31
  Speaker 1: Yeah, last seven.
• 39:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, seven games, right, last seven.
• 39:34
Speaker 1: But yeah, they started off the season 10 and 1 Wow wow, but he also played the game injured too, so he had, uh uh, the quarterback gentlemen, hurts I don't know man, yeah, I don't care, he lost.
• 39:46
Speaker 1: That was a shocker, I was not expecting the giants fan right.
• 39:50
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a guy.
• 39:51
Speaker 3: I've been home all day I've been watching them criticizing.
• 39:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, so giant's fan, you're happy.
• 39:56
Speaker 2: You know, the eagles are out.
• 39:58
Speaker 3: I mean not as much as the eagles, but fucking yeah the cowboy was agree, we can all unite.
• 40:03
Speaker 3: You guys are up, but at the end of the day I just put something on discord here.
• 40:07
Speaker 3: It was the biggest 23 million on average made the dolphins chief the most streaming event in the us.
• 40:15
  Speaker 1: That's what's up.
• 40:16
Speaker 3: Everybody went and got pika.
• 40:17
Speaker 3: Now, do you think?
• 40:18
Speaker 3: This is peacock, yeah, peacock it was issued or played or viewed in pika.
• 40:24
Speaker 3: You couldn't get it anything else.
• 40:25
Speaker 2: I wanted to kind of ask you guys what your feelings about that is.
• 40:30
Speaker 1: I think it's like limiting it on a streaming platform.
• 40:32
  Speaker 1: Yeah, and broadcasting.
• 40:34
  Speaker 3: It's business yeah.
• 40:35
Speaker 1: I mean we did it at twitter.
• 40:36
Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all knew that we were streaming Um NFL on twitter for at least one season.
• 40:41
  Speaker 2: I didn't know that 2018.
• 40:43
Speaker 1: I believe 2018, um and it's one of the most difficult things you have to do to coordinate and get it all put together but it was financially a great choice for us because we were hitting numbers that we never had seen before in terms of people knowing and also streaming it on the platform, on twitter.
• 40:59
Speaker 1: So I know peacock is very happy about the, the viewing and all the downloads that they had to get for their app.
• 41:05
Speaker 2: But what about the controversy behind this?
• 41:07
Speaker 2: What do you guys think about this?
• 41:08
Speaker 2: Like for the old people who are not Tech savvy, tech savvy who have rabbit ears, who yeah nfl playoffs.
• 41:15
Speaker 2: This is supposed to be free over the air tv.
• 41:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got, like you know, like you know your grandpas and stuff, who just should be able to just turn the tv on and watch this.
• 41:24
  Speaker 2: And what?
• 41:24
Speaker 2: What do you guys think about that?
• 41:26
  Speaker 2: D Hussle and bubby D.
• 41:27
Speaker 1: I mean it's difficult being here down south florida.
• 41:30
Speaker 1: Obviously you have a lot of dolphin fans and and unfortunately everybody don't have the same financial, you know, stability and or technical abilities as the younger generations do.
• 41:39
Speaker 1: So there was a lot of people that either you had to go watch it at your cousin's house, friend's house or go to a bar.
• 41:44
Speaker 1: But I mean it is.
• 41:46
Speaker 1: It sucks, it really does, especially if it's a local team Not even being able to stream it through local channels right?
• 41:53
Speaker 3: No, I hear you.
• 41:54
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 41:54
Speaker 3: I mean it forces people to get a streaming service.
• 41:57
Speaker 3: That just for that, because I personally tell you I just would have gotten for just for the football game, and then I would have just cancelled right away.
• 42:04
  Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 42:05
  Speaker 3: I don't need it anymore.
• 42:07
Speaker 2: Of course, but that, yeah, that's not fair, though, for the people.
• 42:10
  Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not it's like pay-per-view.
• 42:12
Speaker 2: Almost some people were saying Exactly where's going because everything now is streaming.
• 42:15
Speaker 3: Yeah so it's not a lot like perfect example.
• 42:18
Speaker 3: How many, how many people out there or you guys still pay for cable.
• 42:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure I don't pay for cable like that, no more.
• 42:25
Speaker 1: I do only stream.
• 42:26
Speaker 3: I have it because it's connected to my tv.
• 42:29
Speaker 2: I have samsung tv, so samsung has their own tv true, true stations yeah unfortunately, I still pay for cable because I don't know any other way to get Football games on TV consistently.
• 42:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's the only reason why I have it.
• 42:42
Speaker 2: Can you tell me how to get the football games over the TV, because they make it where they make it impossible for you to get it.
• 42:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so unless you have rabbit ears and you put that on your roof, how can you watch a football game?
• 42:53
Speaker 2: Explain it to me, I'm waiting.
• 42:54
Speaker 1: I mean I got rabbit ears also.
• 42:55
  Speaker 1: So what I?
• 42:56
Speaker 1: Do is I use streaming services like 90% and then 10% is gonna be rabbit ears where I get over the air.
• 43:02
Speaker 3: Who look out streaming services?
• 43:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, you can watch football at.
• 43:06
Speaker 3: You have prime also that you can watch football at.
• 43:09
Speaker 1: So I get for it, but again.
• 43:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's still streaming services.
• 43:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean, everything is paid for Raymond, I mean.
• 43:14
Speaker 2: I'm saying there's no way to get.
• 43:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's, but the people who don't have streaming or anything, you should be able to watch these football games for free with rabbit ears?
• 43:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, if you have, if you go old school with the antenna.
• 43:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but with peacock you couldn't do that for those folks they got left out.
• 43:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not fair.
• 43:34
Speaker 3: I think peacock is part of NBC too.
• 43:36
Speaker 2: No, this was exclusively on peacock.
• 43:39
Speaker 3: Correct, correct they are but they are supposed to have it and they did not see games, and yes, but they didn't not for this.
• 43:45
Speaker 2: That's weird, that's yeah, that's what the controversy lies around where they didn't they only put it on peacock.
• 43:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, like your grandma's and grandpa's, like they were upset.
• 43:54
  Speaker 1: Raymond.
• 43:55
Speaker 1: Raymond sound like he's about to pick it.
• 44:01
Speaker 3: Another streaming service at all adds up.
• 44:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, but did you guys hear how much NBC paid the NFL to get this exclusive?
• 44:09
  Speaker 2: You're on peacock.
• 44:09
  Speaker 2: How much?
• 44:10
  Speaker 2: 150 mil.
• 44:11
  Speaker 3: Wow.
• 44:11
Speaker 2: So that's the NFL.
• 44:12
Speaker 2: We're gonna give you 150 mil.
• 44:13
Speaker 2: Allow us to put this on peacock only Wow.
• 44:17
Speaker 3: Wow, that's that right that's crazy that people will subscribe to get to that 100, exactly, exactly.
• 44:23
Speaker 1: And that that's also if you think about marks that they're making though the one that you post in the chat room D Hustle 23 million people right million streams connected to this platform.
• 44:34
Speaker 1: They knew what they were doing.
• 44:35
Speaker 1: They're forcing it down this pipeline for them to get new consumers, new users, and unfortunately, you know the NFL is willing to take checks, even if it sucks, that people that only can take local streets can't get on the highway.
• 44:47
Speaker 1: That's a shame you know I'm saying so.
• 44:49
Speaker 2: You see the Charles Barkley rant going off today.
• 44:52
  Speaker 2: Nfl about this.
• 44:53
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't, I didn't catch it.
• 44:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, charles Barkley went, hell, went ham on them.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I can imagine a fellow greedy pigs.
• 44:59
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 45:01
  Speaker 1: It is.
• 45:01
Speaker 1: Thank you, raymond, for your nuggets.
• 45:06
Speaker 1: And Raymond's gonna be out there picketing.
• 45:08
Speaker 1: I don't you gonna boycott the NFL next year.
• 45:11
Speaker 3: No, you know update updates here for football.
• 45:17
Speaker 3: Here Cleveland took the big L to Houston, miami, of course you heard yeah, you lost the Kansas City, green Bay.
• 45:22
Speaker 3: Looking beautiful, dallas, detroit uh-huh, let's talk about Detroit.
• 45:28
Speaker 3: They tried be Ram, spent 32 years 32 years.
• 45:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I watched the game and they definitely shout out to that.
• 45:37
  Speaker 3: I.
• 45:37
Speaker 2: Shout out to Detroit Lions.
• 45:39
Speaker 2: I saw a crazy stat where they had not won a playoff game since JF Kennedy was shot, since before this weekend, so yeah that's not our stomach in.
• 45:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna root for them in the NFC side of that.
• 45:53
  Speaker 2: Yeah me too.
• 45:55
Speaker 1: I'm always with the underdog, but I don't know if you saw them play.
• 45:58
Speaker 1: I feel like they got a squad, though they really do put something together.
• 46:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, buffalo beats Pittsburgh again.
• 46:04
  Speaker 3: I.
• 46:08
Speaker 1: Don't know if you saw that game, but yo, that game there was like they.
• 46:12
Speaker 1: They went a half time and they only had seven where they should have 14, maybe 21, and they threw the interception right in the end zones, in the red zone.
• 46:20
Speaker 1: I was like, oh my gosh, this guy cannot get a win at all, bro, not a win.
• 46:24
Speaker 2: And play else and Tom Lissifetsy doesn't have a quarterback.
• 46:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it.
• 46:28
  Speaker 3: I get it.
• 46:28
  Speaker 3: He's more than a quarterback.
• 46:30
Speaker 3: Yeah, this is a Najee Harris and freakin anyway, that's.
• 46:35
Speaker 1: Did you see the weather up there?
• 46:35
Speaker 1: No too, it was beautiful.
• 46:37
  Speaker 1: You love that.
• 46:37
Speaker 1: You know our love.
• 46:39
Speaker 1: The rain was like hell.
• 46:40
  Speaker 1: No.
• 46:43
Speaker 3: Out there, I'm not gonna lie.
• 46:44
Speaker 3: I mean, I will be there for like maybe.
• 46:47
Speaker 1: It was at least three to four feet of snow and in the, in the stadium and in the bleachers.
• 46:51
  Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
• 46:52
  Speaker 2: That's insane.
• 46:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it got.
• 46:54
Speaker 2: The game got postponed.
• 46:56
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I did yeah, philadelphia lost to a Tampa Bay, so I'm right back to the big eight now shocking this Next week.
• 47:06
Speaker 3: Big thing Houston and Baltimore.
• 47:08
Speaker 3: I'm rooting for Baltimore, I'm not gonna lie.
• 47:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, so my Baltimore.
• 47:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to see Baltimore too.
• 47:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, no more Jackson South Florida guys.
• 47:14
  Speaker 2: So yeah.
• 47:15
Speaker 3: So some, san Fran, Green Bay, I'm gonna say San Fran there.
• 47:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, tampa and Detroit.
• 47:21
Speaker 3: I am rooting for Detroit me to.
• 47:23
  Speaker 3: I can't sit in Buffalo.
• 47:25
Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with Buffalo.
• 47:27
Speaker 1: Oh, you're trying to get Kansas City out the run yeah.
• 47:29
Speaker 3: Kansas City, it's yeah.
• 47:31
  Speaker 1: I'm, I'm.
• 47:31
Speaker 1: I don't know how this Taylor Swift thing is like still running around, but it's the show to watch, I mean.
• 47:39
Speaker 2: Speaking of Taylor Swift, did you guys see the whole role when she was doing with?
• 47:42
