- 0:00Speaker 1: Previously on Relatables Baddi's Book Club. We have to do
- 0:03Speaker 1: our predictions. What's our predictions for the next book.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I think she's special obviously, and she is personally. I
- 0:14Speaker 2: think that she is a lot more powerful than the rest.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Maybe not as powerful as the high Lows, but I
- 0:21Speaker 2: do think she's going to be like a much a
- 0:23Speaker 2: very very strong high face, so like better than Lucian,
- 0:26Speaker 2: better than all these other high fay that we know.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You know what I mean. Does the King of high
- 0:31Speaker 2: Burn still want to kill the mortals? Yes? So here, Yeah,
- 0:35Speaker 2: that's where I'm going.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm thinking she's going to figure out how to use
- 0:38Speaker 1: her powers, and her whole ploy is going to be
- 0:42Speaker 1: I reckon, She's still going to become a queen of something, okay,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and her whole purpose is to save the mortal realm
- 0:49Speaker 1: from high Burn.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Okay. For some reason, I don't think this book is
- 0:53Speaker 2: going to be the book that high Burn is trying
- 0:56Speaker 2: to kill them mortal. I think it's going to be
- 0:58Speaker 2: in later and what there's three more books after this.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I think another challenge arises in this book, and basically
- 1:05Speaker 2: there's going to be just like another thing happens, right,
- 1:08Speaker 2: maybe it is a threat from Highburn to just Priythian
- 1:11Speaker 2: and not the Mortal Realms yet. But there's going to
- 1:14Speaker 2: be so much back and forth of her going from
- 1:18Speaker 2: spring Court to night Court. So I think that what's
- 1:21Speaker 2: going to happen.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Is because wait, I might be reading between the lines
- 1:25Speaker 1: here because everyone said his second book is the best book.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I'm thinking she's going to figure out how to fight
- 1:30Speaker 1: her love between Tamlin and Recent and there's just going
- 1:33Speaker 1: to be a lot of fucking and a lot of
- 1:35Speaker 1: love and a lot of dates, and she's going to
- 1:38Speaker 1: choose one, and I think Tamlin dies.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Fuck off.
- 1:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking. Okay, here's what And they find
- 1:45Speaker 1: out that Tamlin's love wasn't real and he was only
- 1:47Speaker 1: doing it for ulterior motives to save everything. She knows that, yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but I think he figures out for himself and she
- 1:53Speaker 1: realizes it down the track because now she's got time
- 1:55Speaker 1: and there's not all this Amaranthu bullshit around.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Here's what I think happens. She's at spring Court. Every
- 2:00Speaker 2: time she let the spring Court sex scene, Yeah, all right,
- 2:02Speaker 2: sexy scene between her and Tamblin. It could be rough,
- 2:04Speaker 2: could be sweet. Who knows. All right, Yeah, and then
- 2:08Speaker 2: she goes to the night Court for one week every month,
- 2:11Speaker 2: sexual tension building. She's going there months on end for
- 2:15Speaker 2: one week. Each time she comes back, she's making love
- 2:17Speaker 2: to Tamlin. Okay, one of the times she makes love
- 2:20Speaker 2: to Tamlin, she thinks it's reesand like she imagines it's
- 2:27Speaker 2: And then the next time she goes to the night court,
- 2:29Speaker 2: sexual tension too much. Crazy, eventually they fuck. Welcome to
- 2:33Speaker 2: Relatables Baddies book Clubs, where we will embark on a
- 2:36Speaker 2: journey reading some of the finest pieces of literature you
- 2:39Speaker 2: have ever laid eyes or is if that's your preferred
- 2:41Speaker 2: way to consume a book on a Court of Mist
- 2:48Speaker 2: and fury. Oh, chapters one to seven. Yeah, I'm excited.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I am well he I was totally thinking about the
- 2:58Speaker 2: way we do our chapters, right from one to seven.
- 3:00Speaker 2: We've only read six. We didn't read seven. Should we
- 3:03Speaker 2: say one to six? One to six? Why do we
- 3:06Speaker 2: say one to seven? I don't know. Well, that's where
- 3:09Speaker 2: we finish. Yeah, it's a bit confusing. That's all right.
- 3:11Speaker 2: We'll keep it that. We'll keep that. We'll keep it,
- 3:13Speaker 2: we'll keep that. When I was reading. Yeah, I got
- 3:16Speaker 2: the chapter seven. I was like, I went to read
- 3:18Speaker 2: because I didn't. I was like, should I Yeah, but
- 3:22Speaker 2: oh well, we want to start it off with welcome. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 2: welcome to the Baddies Book Club. Baddies book Clubs get
- 3:28Speaker 2: its own show because of how much we love it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: We want to address We've turned up with some new
- 3:34Speaker 1: artwork behind us. Yeah, a bit of a moody set
- 3:37Speaker 1: for everybody.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we needed to get it moody. Yeah, I think so,
- 3:42Speaker 2: because this is what's a word to describe this book.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's one more delicious.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I was going to say, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 3:54Speaker 2: So what I wanted to do was we'll start asking
- 3:56Speaker 2: a question in the Baddies Book Club, yes on the Instagram,
- 4:00Speaker 2: in the group channel. And so what I asked yesterday
- 4:03Speaker 2: was Baddies. I said, we're recording the first act IMAF tomorrow.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I just wanted to ask fuck Mary Kill, Tamlin recent
- 4:10Speaker 2: and Lucian hmmm, one hundred and eleven responses. Let's go.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So a couple of things here. So the first one
- 4:18Speaker 2: is bring on the bat boys. I just know you
- 4:21Speaker 2: guys are both gonna love Caseian. So if someone we
- 4:26Speaker 2: don't know yet or like cation or something. We've got
- 4:28Speaker 2: to be careful here. We don't want to give too
- 4:29Speaker 2: much oilers. Yeah. So there's another hit one here that says,
- 4:32Speaker 2: I fear this could be a spoiler. Yeah, so we
- 4:35Speaker 2: need to be careful. And someone else said, you cannot
- 4:38Speaker 2: be asking questions like this without having finished the series.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Avoid spoilers at all cost, my guys. Yeah, but we've
- 4:44Speaker 2: got a couple. Someone said, fuck Recent, marry Lucian, kill Tamlin. Oh, okay,
- 4:51Speaker 2: to be fair, okay, we'll give outs at the end. Yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 2: fuck Lucian, Mary Recent, kill Tamblin. Okay, Mary resand Fuckolution
- 5:02Speaker 2: kill Tamblin. Okay, there's a theme here. Here we go.
- 5:08Speaker 2: This has fifty likes. You need to ask again with
- 5:11Speaker 2: two different characters in about sixteen chapters time.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I don't know if I can keep reading.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I think that's a bad idea. Let's do ours from
- 5:20Speaker 1: what we've read.
- 5:21Speaker 2: So, from what we've read so far, I would like
- 5:23Speaker 2: to say mine. Okay, I think it'll be the same.
- 5:27Speaker 3: You go.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I want to marry Resent, Fuckolution, and kill Tamblin right now.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I love Resent bro, I don't like Tablin. I hate him.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I think he's jarring. Tablon's a funck with he's selfish.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I hate him. I hate him. I think I'm the
- 5:47Speaker 2: same with you. Yeah. Fuck, I'm glad we're on the
- 5:49Speaker 2: same page. Yeah, there's so much I want to get
- 5:51Speaker 2: into this because there's so much to uncover about Recent
- 5:54Speaker 2: and he's actually out to look after Yeah. Recent's a
- 5:56Speaker 2: fucking bare and beast broy Raugh. Okay, So what we'll
- 6:00Speaker 2: do is where do we leave things. We left things
- 6:02Speaker 2: off with the end of a Quita killed Amarantha. No, no,
- 6:09Speaker 2: Tamilin killed Amarantha. Yeah, but Amarantha died. She sold the riddle.
- 6:14Speaker 1: She basically I would still give it as she contributed
- 6:18Speaker 1: to killing Amanda.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Contribution was a distraction. Yeah, And so basically she at
- 6:27Speaker 2: the end of the last book, she is Recent looking
- 6:32Speaker 2: at her, and he has an interesting look. He's like
- 6:35Speaker 2: interesting leaves. She's like, okay, Weir goes back and then
- 6:39Speaker 2: she's gone back to the spring Court and she's talking
- 6:40Speaker 2: about like how everyone loves her and she's like a savior,
- 6:44Speaker 2: but also she killed those two poor fairies and she
- 6:47Speaker 2: can't forgive herself, and we kind of just end the
- 6:50Speaker 2: book there she's like, well back home now with my boy,
- 6:53Speaker 2: Tammy Wammy, Tammy Wabby Tammy boy. And Yeah, what I would.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Say about this book firstly is it's a way quick
- 7:01Speaker 1: a start.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I like it. Yeah. I think what Sarah J.
- 7:05Speaker 1: MASSTI was really smart in like the first book, if
- 7:08Speaker 1: you wanted to stop, you could, And that's all the
- 7:10Speaker 1: lead up to understand everything what's going on.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It's interesting you could stop if you could a Katar,
- 7:15Speaker 2: but also Akatar, the entire book is like just a
- 7:21Speaker 2: lead up. Yeah, exactly. The entire book is just a leader. Yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 2: and it also could be its own thing, which is
- 7:26Speaker 2: so smart. It's very smart. Yeah. I loved Akatar. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 2: loving Akamat. Yeah. Same. So basically we did chapters. We've
- 7:35Speaker 2: read chapters one to six. Yeah, so we finished up
- 7:38Speaker 2: at seven. Yeah yeah, Okay, So the book starts off,
- 7:43Speaker 2: favorite has a bad dream. She's having terrible nightmares about
- 7:47Speaker 2: under the mountain, and she is sick, vomiting, vomiting. Another
- 7:53Speaker 2: thing that's wigging me out is like, now I know
- 7:57Speaker 2: that they're obviously gonna have toilets, but for some reason,
- 8:00Speaker 2: hearing the word like toilet in this book, like I
- 8:04Speaker 2: was my hands around the toilet.
- 8:06Speaker 1: The first book, I was imagining like the ape in
- 8:09Speaker 1: a hole, what do you toilet?
- 8:13Speaker 2: A dumb question.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I was thinking shitting in a hole. I wasn't thinking
- 8:21Speaker 1: they shout to be honest, no way, I didn't.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Think they had a flushable toilet in this book.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But reading book too, I'm depicting more like Lord of
- 8:30Speaker 1: the Rings, like really really beautiful castles. Like I guess
- 8:36Speaker 1: there isn't a time frame in it is what we're
- 8:39Speaker 1: we've learned.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I just, for some reason, was under the impression that, like,
- 8:44Speaker 2: I don't know, just Prithian, being this magic land didn't
- 8:47Speaker 2: need toilets. Just hearing that was sust to me. And
- 8:49Speaker 2: also the fact that there's a point of it in
- 8:50Speaker 2: this first couple of chapters where Tamlin's like doing a
- 8:53Speaker 2: bunch of paperwork. You said that he's fucking Tamblin. Yeah. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 2: And it gets even more and more like the real world, Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 2: which is funny. Yeah. So Fair is sick and she's
- 9:05Speaker 2: like vomiting dry.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Having she's guilt over that she's vomiting because she feels guilty,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and she's killing.
- 9:10Speaker 2: The terrified blah blah blah, and so she has constant nightmares,
- 9:16Speaker 2: the nightmares every night of like Amarantha and her time
- 9:19Speaker 2: under the mountain. And she says at the end of
- 9:21Speaker 2: that chapter quickly like she goes over the crawls back
- 9:24Speaker 2: into bed with tamblin. Nothing happened to the one. Nothing
- 9:26Speaker 2: happened at all. And she's the only thing that I
- 9:28Speaker 2: originally literally started making me dislike Tamlin from the start
- 9:33Speaker 2: is that she goes, Oh, he never wakes up when
- 9:37Speaker 2: I have my nightmares, and I know he has them too,
- 9:42Speaker 2: And if he is awake, he doesn't say anything. He
- 9:45Speaker 2: doesn't console her, he doesn't he's very distant. He doesn't
- 9:48Speaker 2: want to talk to her about it. It's almost like
- 9:50Speaker 2: he's trying to act as if it didn't happen.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Is that reflective of men in society? She's trying to
- 9:57Speaker 1: deal with the problem head on, and he's just like,
- 9:59Speaker 1: she's not even trying to with it because she's she's
- 10:01Speaker 1: got no help. Yeah, but she's got the mindset of
- 10:04Speaker 1: like I need to get better, I need to fix
- 10:08Speaker 1: this something I don't know how to. Yeah, but this
- 10:10Speaker 1: isn't gonna last for everwhere as he's he's like rush.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It on the door mat let's move on, bitches. Yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 2: it's a good point. And then okay, we lead on
- 10:18Speaker 2: to it's almost I guess it's the next day. But
- 10:21Speaker 2: so fair really Favor really wants to go to a
- 10:26Speaker 2: high fay village nearby that's being rebuilt. Yes, Tamlin says,
- 10:31Speaker 2: sisting straight up. No, Like Tamlin's.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Way too overprotective of her. Yeah, agreed, she was a
- 10:38Speaker 1: beast when she's a human. Ye, Now she's a fairy. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: And I thought the start was going to be like
- 10:43Speaker 1: her shooting like bow and arrows and like learning of
- 10:46Speaker 1: her powers, and then it's just like.
- 10:50Speaker 2: She's whimpering in the corner, and yeah, leave the manner.
- 10:55Speaker 2: There's a couple of things I want to say. So
- 10:56Speaker 2: Tamlin's pissing me off, all right, over protective. He just
- 11:00Speaker 2: wants her to be like this doled up thing that
- 11:03Speaker 2: is just like there when he wants and does as
- 11:06Speaker 2: he pleases. She's also jarring me. She is too, She's
- 11:11Speaker 2: constantly fucking depressed, like you're a magical high fae that's
- 11:18Speaker 2: gonna live forever. I understand that what you did was crazy,
- 11:22Speaker 2: but in the scheme, in the scheme of things, she
- 11:25Speaker 2: is quite annoying. She's jarring me. Yeah, she is, she is,
- 11:28Speaker 2: she is, And she's also just so like whiny. She's
- 11:32Speaker 2: so why at the moment for some reason, you know,
- 11:36Speaker 2: like I just want her to dive head first into
- 11:39Speaker 2: something I know. So she's good at okay. So basically
- 11:46Speaker 2: chapter two. So chapter two, trying to go to this
- 11:48Speaker 2: village and Town's like, no, alright, He's like, you're not safe.
- 11:50Speaker 2: It's not safe, you're out there, blah blah blah. And
- 11:53Speaker 2: he's like, there's a bunch of stuff to do here
- 11:54Speaker 2: at the manner, and she goes, all there is to
- 11:58Speaker 2: do is play the wedding, and that's the first. So
- 12:01Speaker 2: she's been in the spring court for three months by
- 12:03Speaker 2: the way, Yeah, recent hasn't come to collect her at once.
- 12:06Speaker 2: She's like, maybe he forgot, and so she's getting married.
- 12:10Speaker 2: She goes fine, and she goes back in and we
- 12:12Speaker 2: meet i Anthe.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I Anthe is introduced the High Fay Precess, Princess Priestess,
- 12:17Speaker 1: Precess Priestess, priestets the Priestess. Yeah, there's twelve priestesses in Prithian.
- 12:21Speaker 1: She's the youngest.
- 12:21Speaker 2: She's the childhood friend of Tamlin childhood friend of Tamlin,
- 12:24Speaker 2: and she fled when Amarantha came. Yeah, her dad got
- 12:28Speaker 2: her out of there, and Lucian hates her for it. Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 2: Lucian hates her. How do you think she looks hot?
- 12:35Speaker 1: I was thinking not, Oh, I the only reason I
- 12:38Speaker 1: was thinking she's sexual, But I'm thinking attractive because Parr
- 12:41Speaker 1: says she's attractive.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but she says that about everyone. Favus says that,
- 12:45Speaker 2: like she says, fucking everyone is the most beautiful person.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I've got to say something. I don't think there's a
- 12:52Speaker 2: single ugly high Fayro.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, But I think I was depicting her as
- 12:56Speaker 1: like sort of not as beautiful as the rest. She's
- 13:00Speaker 1: sort of just generic, like because Lucien doesn't like her,
- 13:04Speaker 1: but he likes it for that's for a reason.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but she's trying to sleep with him all the time.
- 13:08Speaker 1: You think you'd smash if she was like ten out
- 13:10Speaker 1: of ten. It's got principles, Yeah, but also she's not
- 13:14Speaker 1: that hot. She knows men throwing themselves at her. Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but she's throwing herself at Lucian and he's not taking it.
- 13:22Speaker 2: It's because you want what you can't have. Yeah, it's
- 13:24Speaker 2: because she's not that attractive. Yeah, you're trying to say
- 13:27Speaker 2: to me that we're you trying to say about my
- 13:32Speaker 2: boy Lucian. He's some shallow fucking do we I'm just
- 13:37Speaker 2: saying I don't think she's that beautiful. Okay, fair that's
- 13:39Speaker 2: how you're picturing her because she's also has bad morals.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah here, okay, no, it's a good point. Yeah. So
- 13:45Speaker 2: basically she goes, they just start doing some wedding planning stuff, boring,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and then we.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Ll she's very into traditions of Hythei and fairies, and
- 13:55Speaker 1: she's trying to depict Favor as this beautiful, perfect being.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So everyone looks up to her and they don't want
- 14:02Speaker 1: it to be real, and they're dressing her like.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, like dressing her in gowns, and she's just like,
- 14:06Speaker 2: what is this outspending talents?
- 14:09Speaker 1: Kamlon's laughing at her, and then she's like, anthey knows
- 14:11Speaker 1: what she's doing.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I'm like, Tabalins, stick up for your girl exactly. I
- 14:14Speaker 2: have this written down. The chapter ends, though, Okay, chapter
- 14:18Speaker 2: two ends with a cheeky, sneaky sex scene and right
- 14:23Speaker 2: but during it, Farah finds out that she will never
- 14:25Speaker 2: be Tamlin's equal, even though she's marrying him. Yes, it's
- 14:28Speaker 2: just the way it is. Yeah, yeah, I want to
- 14:30Speaker 2: play that. I want to enjoy it together. Okay, you've
- 14:32Speaker 2: got graphic audio. I've just got the normal audio. I
- 14:35Speaker 2: listened to it a graphic audio. I should have said
- 14:37Speaker 2: that I've been I've been reading and then listening on
- 14:39Speaker 2: graphic audio.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I should have said too, what I've been doing. I
- 14:41Speaker 1: saw a video and reading along with the audiobook makes
- 14:46Speaker 1: you get like head thrown headfirst into the world. So
- 14:50Speaker 1: I'm reading along as they're talking. So here is the
- 14:53Speaker 1: section up. Yeah, it's slow as fuck.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Good dog.
- 15:00Speaker 4: He emerged from the bathing room, slinging off his tunic
- 15:03Speaker 4: and shirt, and I propped myself on my elbows to
- 15:06Speaker 4: watch as he paused at the edge of the bed.
- 15:10Speaker 4: My attention went right to the strong, clever fingers that
- 15:14Speaker 4: unfastened his pants. O Tamlin let out a low snarl
- 15:19Speaker 4: of approval, and I bit my bottom lip as he
- 15:22Speaker 4: removed his pants along with his undergarments, revealing the proud,
- 15:27Speaker 4: thick length of him.
- 15:29Speaker 3: My mouth went I wish I was described like that
- 15:35Speaker 3: proud thick length that's great, cry.
- 15:41Speaker 4: And I dragged my gaze up his muscled torso, over
- 15:44Speaker 4: the pains of his chest, and then come here, he growled,
- 15:50Speaker 4: so roughly the words were barely discernible. I pushed back
- 15:55Speaker 4: the blankets, revealing my already naked body, and he hissed.
- 16:01Speaker 4: His features turned ravenous while I crawled across the bed
- 16:05Speaker 4: and rose up on my knees. I took his face
- 16:08Speaker 4: in my hands, the golden skin framed on either side
- 16:12Speaker 4: by fingers of ivory and swirling black, and kissed him.
- 16:18Speaker 4: He held my gaze through the kiss, even as I
- 16:21Speaker 4: pushed myself closer, biting back a small noise when he
- 16:25Speaker 4: brushed against my stomach. His calloused hands grazed my hips,
- 16:30Speaker 4: my waist, then held me there as he lowered his head,
- 16:34Speaker 4: seizing the kiss. A brush of his tongue against the
- 16:38Speaker 4: seam of my lips had me opening fully for him,
- 16:41Speaker 4: and he swept in, claiming me, branding me. I moaned, then, wait.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, pig paij paig as fuck, You've
- 16:54Speaker 2: got to listen to the drug. She goes like he
- 17:00Speaker 2: let out a moan or something like that, and then
- 17:02Speaker 2: in the background it just goes like, there's just a
- 17:05Speaker 2: man's voice, like, and then she like she proper Is
- 17:09Speaker 2: it like the erotic novels we read? So yeah, what
- 17:11Speaker 2: I have noticed is they're reading the book word for word,
- 17:15Speaker 2: but when there's a scene like this that can be
- 17:17Speaker 2: acted out, they added witch. Yeah okay, so she'll be like, yeah,
- 17:23Speaker 2: he groaned, and then she'll go there's a point there
- 17:26Speaker 2: where it's like basically in the graphic ordio when she's like.
- 17:33Speaker 5: It's fucked, bro, it's the voice, no different voice. Yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 5: that's very like roboty. You got to try the graphic.
- 17:42Speaker 2: But okay, so that was chapter two, got into it quick.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Chapter three, Tamlin feels guilty and Farah goes with Lucien
- 17:48Speaker 2: to the High Fate village to try and offer some help.
- 17:52Speaker 2: No wants that ship. Yeah, they get there. Everyone's just
- 17:56Speaker 2: just just gone. The debt has been paid, the dead
- 17:58Speaker 2: has been paid, and no one will let her help
- 18:00Speaker 2: because she is like the curse breaker. Someone says curse
- 18:04Speaker 2: break and she goes, I've never heard that one be
- 18:06Speaker 2: for And basically she's just out here trying to help
- 18:09Speaker 2: and they won't let her help. Yeah, so that was
- 18:11Speaker 2: kind of well, we learn about the tax on the
- 18:15Speaker 2: spring Court as well. Learn about tax in the spring Court,
- 18:17Speaker 2: and we also learn about what actually go tackle on
- 18:19Speaker 2: the spring Court. First, it's called the tithe. The tithe, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 2: and well it's just like everyone Tamlin gave everyone an
- 18:28Speaker 2: extra month month to gather all the resources to contribute
- 18:33Speaker 2: to basically how he funds everything. So yeah, basically twice
- 18:37Speaker 2: a year. Yeah, there's a tithe, and every single person
- 18:41Speaker 2: in the spring Court has to come to Tamlin and
- 18:43Speaker 2: they have to pay a tax based off of what
- 18:46Speaker 2: they earn. So it's just like, okay, we pay tax. Yeah,
- 18:48Speaker 2: and that's how he funds basically the spring Court. And
- 18:53Speaker 2: in he offers protection and help when he can to
- 18:58Speaker 2: everyone in his court that is beneath him and in
- 19:01Speaker 2: repayment for this tax. And so basically, if someone doesn't come,
- 19:07Speaker 2: Lucian keeps track and they get three days grace to
- 19:11Speaker 2: come and pay their tithe. But if they don't come,
- 19:15Speaker 2: ianthe and the High Priestesses grant Tamlin a special license
- 19:22Speaker 2: or whatever to he has to go hunt down the
- 19:24Speaker 2: people that haven't paid and kill them. And that's that's
- 19:27Speaker 2: what happens. Yeah, yeah, yeah, which I didn't think. I didn't. Yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 2: it was I felt about that in life. It felt
- 19:35Speaker 2: gone back to the eighteen hundreds again, that's exactly. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 2: I didn't like that. I didn't think Tamlin was about
- 19:41Speaker 2: that life. No, neither did. I thought it's rich exactly,
- 19:44Speaker 2: and it's like, you're magical as fuck, why do you
- 19:47Speaker 2: need money? Okay, but we did find out. So Fayrer
- 19:52Speaker 2: notices that all the high fay at the village. They
- 19:54Speaker 2: went to try and help out. She's like, I didn't
- 19:55Speaker 2: see them under the mountain, and Lucian goes, we were
- 19:59Speaker 2: feeb and to speak about it, But there were camps
- 20:02Speaker 2: deeper within the mountain, deeper within the mountain, pitch black,
- 20:06Speaker 2: no light. Very rarely did they get food. Were camps,
- 20:10Speaker 2: and there was thousands upon thousands of fairies and hype,
- 20:16Speaker 2: all the ones that weren't of noble and like good need.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And so for fifty years they lived in darkness and
- 20:22Speaker 2: they did what they had to do, and they did
- 20:23Speaker 2: what they had to to survive. So basically Lucian goes like,
- 20:26Speaker 2: don't take any offense to things. They're just learning how
- 20:29Speaker 2: to actually just live again. That's why everyone's looking at
- 20:32Speaker 2: you like, oh, people cry when they look at her. Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: At the end of that chapter, was that the chapter
- 20:39Speaker 1: where Lucian mentioned he'd lost someone he loved.
- 20:43Speaker 2: He well, he talks about how he had to watch
- 20:48Speaker 2: the person he loves, the girl there, the female he loves,
- 20:51Speaker 2: be killed, and he's like, that's why Tamilin's so protective.
- 20:55Speaker 2: He was, yes, so to be fair. In this chapter
- 20:57Speaker 2: he talks about why Tamlin's so protective, and then at
- 20:59Speaker 2: the end of the chapter she does like he says,
- 21:02Speaker 2: he has so much pressure on him. We have to
- 21:04Speaker 2: show a strong front because I think all the courts,
- 21:07Speaker 2: like you know, the Spring Court, given the chance, would
- 21:09Speaker 2: overrun another court and vice versa. I think that's how
- 21:12Speaker 2: it goes. It's really weird, and so you have to
- 21:15Speaker 2: show a strong front from and be able to rebuild.
- 21:18Speaker 2: They only have one chance to rebuild. So we need rules,
- 21:21Speaker 2: we need laws, we need all these things. And so
- 21:23Speaker 2: she's kind of like finally gives Tamlin a break, and
- 21:25Speaker 2: it's like, Okay, he's under a lot of pressure. Yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 2: but my feeling is towards Tamblin. Right.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Favor just saved every fucking body, and you're putting all
- 21:33Speaker 1: your concentration into the spring court when she's the Savior
- 21:38Speaker 1: and she's just been transformed into his body. She knows
- 21:41Speaker 1: nothing about it, and you're like just going on your
- 21:42Speaker 1: day doing it and high lord things.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And she's like a strong bitch. Now she's like breaking
- 21:47Speaker 2: for there's like a couple of hints. Yeah, and she's
- 21:49Speaker 2: like she closes a glass door and shatters it and shit,
- 21:53Speaker 2: but she doesn't know what to do with her she's
- 21:55Speaker 2: strong and she does.
- 21:56Speaker 1: The like accidentally like crept up her and he punched
- 21:58Speaker 1: her in the stomach, and yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 2: She talks about that later. Yeah, so that's that. Yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 2: Chapter three is done. Chapter four we lead up to
- 22:07Speaker 2: the wedding. Anthe is making Pharaoh wear a horrible dress.
- 22:13Speaker 2: I hate Anthe and I hate Tamlin. So Tamlin even
- 22:15Speaker 2: says the dress is ridiculous one of their friends, but
- 22:17Speaker 2: he goes, I trust Anthey's judgment. She's trying to make
- 22:20Speaker 2: a statement and Faara is like, why is he taking
- 22:22Speaker 2: her size? The fuck is going on? And then basically
- 22:26Speaker 2: she has another nightmare the night prior to the wedding.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Wedding day arrives and she's walking down the aisle and
- 22:33Speaker 2: she gets near the end and she's like nervous. She
- 22:36Speaker 2: sees white rose pedals, and then she sees a red
- 22:38Speaker 2: rose pedal and the red reminds her of Amarantha, and
- 22:40Speaker 2: she freezes, and then she nearly is at the top
- 22:44Speaker 2: of it. She's nearly at the altar and walking up
- 22:46Speaker 2: to Tamlin, and she's like saying, in her head, oh no,
- 22:50Speaker 2: I can't do it. Everybody's watching me, all these eyes.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I can't do it. She's like begging for help, like,
- 22:57Speaker 2: somebody make it stop, and Tamlin like takes a step down,
- 23:00Speaker 2: takes a step back. Yeah, she's freaking out, and he's like,
- 23:04Speaker 2: and she's like, in her head again, somebody saved me. Please,
- 23:06Speaker 2: somebody saved me all in her head, and I ante's like, come, come,
- 23:09Speaker 2: my dear, take your husband and let there be good
- 23:11Speaker 2: in life. She's panicking and then fucking she you know.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And then finally guess who heard her cry?
- 23:23Speaker 1: Our boy Recent, but she doesn't know yet that he
- 23:29Speaker 1: heard her.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So basically Recent appears out of nowhere with night dripping
- 23:33Speaker 2: off him, looking handsome as ever, by the way, and
- 23:36Speaker 2: so everyone's scared, like everyone's scared of everyone ran Yeah,
- 23:40Speaker 2: he's a beast, and the bitch fucking ran away. I
- 23:44Speaker 2: think that there's something deeper there. I think I Anthe
- 23:47Speaker 2: is terrified of Recent, and I think Recent would kill
- 23:50Speaker 2: her given the chance. Well, I think, well, they said
- 23:53Speaker 2: Recent's parents died. I reckon her dad did it. Yeah, yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 2: something like that, because her dad is one of Tamlin's
- 23:59Speaker 2: high generals. And yeah, so I think that because Resent's
- 24:04Speaker 2: parents killed Tamlon's parents, I think that her parents have
- 24:07Speaker 2: killed Resent's parents and he has no family because of it,
- 24:09Speaker 2: apart from will find out. And so he hates Anthe
- 24:12Speaker 2: and she's scared of him. But he's like in there,
- 24:14Speaker 2: and Tamlin's like, leave, fuck off Tamlin. Honestly, I reckon
- 24:19Speaker 2: Recent could be Tamilin.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so do what well we meant to, Like Tamilin's
- 24:22Speaker 1: really the strongest thing. And then he can't do anything
- 24:24Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, he's like I've comet. He comes out
- 24:27Speaker 1: and he goes, hello, fair darling. He guy's like, oh,
- 24:31Speaker 1: what a beautiful reception, and.
- 24:33Speaker 2: He's like leave, and Recent goes I thought it was
- 24:36Speaker 2: over at least Favor did oh, And then Tamlin's like blah,
- 24:42Speaker 2: blah blah. He's like, I'm warning you whatever, I know,
- 24:44Speaker 2: some stupid pick up of my debt.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 2: He goes, well, I've come to pull in my bargain.
- 24:50Speaker 2: You know what happens if it does it? If blah
- 24:51Speaker 2: blah doesn't work out, he probably kills fair or something. Yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 2: And so basically he just takes favor. But I understand
- 24:58Speaker 2: this is why Favor is drying to her, because she's like, please,
- 25:01Speaker 2: anyone save me. I don't want to do this. She
- 25:03Speaker 2: gets saved and she's like, no, you're a dog, like
- 25:07Speaker 2: I hate you. So they get to the night court.
- 25:12Speaker 2: It's beautiful the before done. Yeah, turn four done. I
- 25:16Speaker 2: wrote down here like recent appears bro has Aura.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I wrote there was a moment before the wedding too,
- 25:22Speaker 1: and Pharaoh was talking to the two soldiers. Yeah, and
- 25:26Speaker 1: then she like had some comeback and she's like, well
- 25:29Speaker 1: you don't know reason very well, do you?
- 25:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 25:31Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Wait wait, so they noticed the tattoo on her arm
- 25:34Speaker 2: and they go he hasn't come yet, and she's like nah,
- 25:37Speaker 2: and he goes, don't worry. When he does, we'll take
- 25:38Speaker 2: care of him. And she just goes, well, you don't
- 25:40Speaker 2: know him, yeah, you don't know recent like I do.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And it's just like like what you need to hate him? Yeah?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Like what okay Jesus So yeah, Tamlin tries to bargain.
- 25:52Speaker 2: He even says like name your price. Reason's like nuh,
- 25:55Speaker 2: don't even try. And then when they get to the
- 25:57Speaker 2: night court, she talks about how beautiful it is. It
- 25:58Speaker 2: sounds sick and and resense, like you're welcome, by the way,
- 26:02Speaker 2: like I will take your thanks at any moment. Yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 2: we're about to say no.
- 26:06Speaker 1: That's when she realizes that he can read her mind,
- 26:10Speaker 1: yes through the tattoo.
- 26:11Speaker 2: And then so Pharah finds out that even her screaming
- 26:14Speaker 2: for help he hears. And also every single time she
- 26:17Speaker 2: wakes up from a nightmare, she he wakes up from
- 26:20Speaker 2: it reasons like let me sleep. Yeah, He's like, oh
- 26:23Speaker 2: fox As, I just want a good night sleep. Yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 2: I want a good night rights. Every time you wake
- 26:26Speaker 2: up and scream and cry and vomit, it annoys me.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He sends it right down our bond. So yeah, and
- 26:32Speaker 2: then uh or her room, she thinks she's a prisoner,
- 26:38Speaker 2: and he's like, She's like, what do you want from me?
- 26:40Speaker 2: Like why why did you actually just come and give
- 26:41Speaker 2: me for real, like this is stupid. Why are you
- 26:43Speaker 2: even taking me? And he goes like we made a bargain,
- 26:46Speaker 2: blah blah blah, and then he goes, your room's down here.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I'll tell you at breakfast, and then again once more.
- 26:52Speaker 2: He goes again, I'll take that, thanks whenever, and she
- 26:55Speaker 2: picks up her shoe and she fucking whips it out
- 26:58Speaker 2: his head and she goes, I threw it so fast
- 27:00Speaker 2: it was like lightning not even a high lord could
- 27:03Speaker 2: sensu and it hit him and he's like what And
- 27:06Speaker 2: then she goes, I dare to throw the other one,
- 27:09Speaker 2: and she throws it at him and he catches it
- 27:11Speaker 2: and he just like turns it into dust, and he
- 27:12Speaker 2: goes interesting, Yeah, she was like okay, and then she
- 27:16Speaker 2: just goes, I'm not dumb enough to actually attack him here.
- 27:18Speaker 2: So she goes off to her room. Yeah, fit for
- 27:20Speaker 2: an empress. Whatever FAIV we know you want is dick
- 27:24Speaker 2: like for real, but sounds pretty hectic. Gets woken up.
- 27:29Speaker 2: She like sobs and stuff. I don't know.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yeah, at the end of that, didn't reason say we're
- 27:33Speaker 1: going to teach you how to read.
- 27:35Speaker 2: No, next morning, next morning, next morning, so the servants
- 27:40Speaker 2: come wake her up, goes up for breakfast and they're
- 27:43Speaker 2: talking to him. She's like, you told me, you told
- 27:44Speaker 2: me what you want me and he goes, I want
- 27:47Speaker 2: to teach you, how do you read? And so, and
- 27:52Speaker 2: then I think that's all chapter five, I want to
- 27:54Speaker 2: teach you to read. Yes, that's where it ended, and
- 27:56Speaker 2: then chapter six reesand does uh they're still at brecky right, yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 2: and she's like getting I don't really remember what she's
- 28:05Speaker 2: getting angry about, but she's like squeezing a fork and
- 28:08Speaker 2: then she realizes that she's like mangled this fork. Well,
- 28:10Speaker 2: I think she's like, what is this talk to you
- 28:12Speaker 2: to teach me how?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, face that almost killed me once exactly. Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 2: She's like, you laughed at me once for this and
- 28:19Speaker 2: he like She like puts the fork down and he
- 28:21Speaker 2: goes interesting and again she goes, you said that last
- 28:24Speaker 2: night and he's like, can't I say it twice? The sass?
- 28:28Speaker 2: Can't I say it twice? And basically uh, he just
- 28:33Speaker 2: goes like don't you find it interesting? Like has anyone
- 28:36Speaker 2: told you you're very strong for a high fae? And
- 28:39Speaker 2: she goes no. He's like, have you not tried this
- 28:42Speaker 2: new power on anyone. He's like, if I reason, it
- 28:44Speaker 2: seems like he's the only wanted to comment. Yeah, He's like,
- 28:47Speaker 2: if I was just resurrected by the seven high Lords
- 28:50Speaker 2: of Prithian, like I would want to test that on someone,
- 28:54Speaker 2: So if you got anything else, And she's like, I
- 28:55Speaker 2: didn't get anything else. He's like, why would I, and
- 28:57Speaker 2: then he kind of just like makes a comment I
- 28:59Speaker 2: don't know, and then he like stops and we meet
- 29:04Speaker 2: more Agan. Yeah, more More that's Resen's cousin, cousin. She
- 29:10Speaker 2: I think she's beautiful because apparently so she goes if
- 29:15Speaker 2: Recent is the most handsome male I've ever seen, Morogan
- 29:18Speaker 2: is the most handsome female. Okay, Moregan and then kind
- 29:22Speaker 2: of they meet blah blah blah. No, she wasn't trapped
- 29:25Speaker 2: under the mountain. And then she starts to tell the
- 29:27Speaker 2: story and resents like that's enough, that's enough. So I'm
- 29:30Speaker 2: intrigued by that, by the way. Yeah, so she's very
- 29:33Speaker 2: So she's also maybe Recent helped her out somehow. They
- 29:36Speaker 2: go to learn how to read, but also Recent touches
- 29:40Speaker 2: on being able to teach Fairer how to shield. Yeah,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and the shielding is that he's doing that for him.
- 29:45Speaker 2: So there's other people fair, there's other people with his powers,
- 29:49Speaker 2: maybe not as strong, but they can train to be
- 29:52Speaker 2: very good at the mind manipulation. So her walls are
- 29:54Speaker 2: always down because she doesn't know how to put shields up,
- 29:57Speaker 2: and someone just could just come in and literally wipe
- 29:59Speaker 2: her brain. And so he's like, you need to learn this,
- 30:04Speaker 2: and now he is fine, someone's funny. They go in
- 30:06Speaker 2: to read next scene or whatever, and she sounds something
- 30:09Speaker 2: out and then this was funny. She's like reading it
- 30:12Speaker 2: and she's like, I can't do it, and he's like, yes,
- 30:14Speaker 2: you can do it. And she's like, why why can't
- 30:16Speaker 2: you hire someone to do this? And he goes, well,
- 30:18Speaker 2: I've got things to do, but this is fun. He's like,
- 30:21Speaker 2: I like fucking with you. Ah. And then the first
- 30:24Speaker 2: basically he wrote down you look absolutely delicious today, and
- 30:29Speaker 2: she goes, that's what you got me to read and
- 30:31Speaker 2: he goes and then it turns from him talking into
- 30:35Speaker 2: like he's now in her head, and he goes from
- 30:38Speaker 2: his head like they can talk via telepathy or whatever,
- 30:40Speaker 2: and he's like, isn't it true? He doubles down. It's
- 30:42Speaker 2: like it's true, isn't it. She's like, what you fucking pig?
- 30:46Speaker 2: And then head Basically he did that whole thing of
- 30:50Speaker 2: getting into her head to now he's like put his
- 30:53Speaker 2: his like talons in her brain and she feels it,
- 30:55Speaker 2: and he's like, get rid of me. He's like, knock
- 30:58Speaker 2: me out, get rid of me, and she does. She
- 31:00Speaker 2: learns how to shield a little bit. And then from
- 31:04Speaker 2: there I wanted to read page sixty five, right, because
- 31:07Speaker 2: this is one of the things that made me like
- 31:09Speaker 2: resand well he's the only one who's actually helping her, yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 2: with her powers shielding reading. Okay, so this fair is
- 31:19Speaker 2: kind of saying like, isn't me freeing everyone enough? Right?
- 31:22Speaker 2: I blazed on. Isn't it enough that I were all free?
- 31:25Speaker 2: I splayed my tattooed hand on the table. By the end,
- 31:27Speaker 2: I thought you were different. I thought that it was
- 31:29Speaker 2: all a mask, but taking me away, keeping me here.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I shook my head, unable to find the words vicious enough,
- 31:35Speaker 2: clever enough to convince him to end his bargain. His
- 31:37Speaker 2: eyes darkened. I'm not your enemy, favor Tamlin says, you are.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I curled up the fingers of my tattoo hand in
- 31:43Speaker 2: my fist. Everyone else says you are, and what do
- 31:45Speaker 2: you think? He leaned back in his chair again with
- 31:47Speaker 2: his his face was grave. You're doing a damn good
- 31:50Speaker 2: job at making me agree with them, liar, he purd.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Did you even tell your friends about what I did
- 31:55Speaker 2: to you under the mountain? So that common at breakfast
- 31:58Speaker 2: had gotten under his skin. I don't want to talk
- 32:00Speaker 2: about anything related to that with you or them, No,
- 32:03Speaker 2: because it's so much easier to pretend it never happened
- 32:05Speaker 2: and let them coddle you. I don't let them coddle me.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Had you wrapped up like a present yesterday, like you
- 32:10Speaker 2: were his reward, so so a flicker of rage, then
- 32:13Speaker 2: it was gone. I'm ready to be taken home. I
- 32:15Speaker 2: merely said, where you'll be cloistered for the rest of
- 32:18Speaker 2: your life, especially once you start punching out airs. I
- 32:20Speaker 2: can't wait to see what i Ante does when she
- 32:22Speaker 2: gets her hands on them. You don't have a particularly
- 32:24Speaker 2: higher opinion of her. Something cold and predatory crept into
- 32:27Speaker 2: his eyes. No, I can't say I do, He pointed
- 32:31Speaker 2: out a black piece of paper. Start copying the alphabet
- 32:34Speaker 2: alphabet until you your letters up perfect, and every time
- 32:36Speaker 2: you go through a round, lower and raise your shield. Basically,
- 32:39Speaker 2: I just love that he fucking actually is saying what's true.
- 32:44Speaker 2: He's only honest one day and that is pretty much
- 32:47Speaker 2: the end. Got anything else, nah, big old cliffhang. Basically,
- 32:53Speaker 2: he leaves for an hour and she does comes back.
- 32:55Speaker 2: She's practiced her shields as well, and like she's actually
- 32:58Speaker 2: gotten kind of good at it. Within the hour. He goes, ah,
- 33:00Speaker 2: this might be fun. We could have fun with this,
- 33:02Speaker 2: and then she's just like next scene, they're going into
- 33:06Speaker 2: he's following her, sorry, she's following him. And they go
- 33:09Speaker 2: up in this massive round hole where the walls are
- 33:11Speaker 2: all the maps of Priythian and then there's a big
- 33:13Speaker 2: black table in the middle with another smaller map, and
- 33:17Speaker 2: he's like, what do you what do you see? What
- 33:20Speaker 2: do you see? And she goes, I've got I see
- 33:23Speaker 2: are well divided into where the wall is for the
- 33:25Speaker 2: Mortal Lands and the Printhian and all the fairy lands,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and he's like exactly, and she's like I think. He
- 33:32Speaker 2: starts going and saying that we need to prepare. She's
- 33:33Speaker 2: like for what and it just ends with like for war, fa,
- 33:36Speaker 2: war is coming, War is coming? Yeah, so that's the
- 33:40Speaker 2: recap again. We need to try and get the recaps
- 33:42Speaker 2: out quicker. Apologies, guys, that was a good cliffhanger to
- 33:45Speaker 2: live it on. Thoughts, feelings, How are we feeling. I'm
- 33:52Speaker 2: feeling I'm feeling somewhat good. I'm feeling I'm feeling so excited.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I'm excited. I don't know how to feel this stage. Okay,
- 34:01Speaker 1: it's like you've been on one date with a girl
- 34:04Speaker 1: and you don't really know too much about her. Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: it's just like you don't know what her power is
- 34:07Speaker 1: going to come into. Yeah, and you don't know really
- 34:10Speaker 1: how bad of a person time was going to turn into.
- 34:12Speaker 1: It's too early to say anything.
- 34:14Speaker 2: It's too early to really say anything. You're right, I
- 34:19Speaker 2: just I got to say recent is making this book good.
- 34:24Speaker 2: He really is. To be fair, I guess they's Sarry J.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Mass is trying to make you hate tamilin. Yeah, but
- 34:31Speaker 2: I think that I guess we said all our feelings
- 34:36Speaker 2: as we are go on. What about predictions? Predictions? Okay,
- 34:41Speaker 2: so there's going to be a war.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So I reckon what's going to happen is she's going
- 34:46Speaker 1: to start despising Tamlin because all he cares about is
- 34:50Speaker 1: the High Court and Anthy's opinion.
- 34:54Speaker 2: He's like, just listen to why Anthy.
- 34:55Speaker 1: And she's going to start to despise him, and she's
- 34:57Speaker 1: going to look forward to looking forward. She's going to
- 34:59Speaker 1: look forward to hanging out of resand and she's like,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I can't wait to learn more about my powers, her strength,
- 35:05Speaker 1: learn to read. She's probably gonna get really smart.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Like why isn't Tamlin teaching her to read? He knows
- 35:09Speaker 2: she's alliterate. Yeah, I don't understand what a terrible fiance like.
- 35:14Speaker 2: He's literally just leaves every single day and just like
- 35:17Speaker 2: let her go figure out shit to do. She can't.
- 35:20Speaker 2: She's too scared to go into certain rooms in the
- 35:22Speaker 2: manner like he is refusing to talk about what happened.
- 35:26Speaker 2: She needs to talk about these things. So my prediction
- 35:32Speaker 2: is that Recend is going to start training favor. Yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 2: Favra is going to be I think as powerful as
- 35:45Speaker 2: a high lord. And I say that because I'm trying
- 35:49Speaker 2: to remember. So Tamlin, with his powers in full fully back,
- 35:53Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure is widely considered the most powerful high lord.
- 35:56Speaker 2: So like, I think everyone could give him a run
- 35:59Speaker 2: for his money. But like how Reesen said, like we'd
- 36:01Speaker 2: take the mountain down, and but he even he doesn't
- 36:04Speaker 2: want to fight Tamlin. Yeah, because his Tamlin's too strong
- 36:07Speaker 2: for the mind control soft to work and all out
- 36:09Speaker 2: just stronger. So I think that. So but basically he
- 36:17Speaker 2: creeps up on Favor at once and she gets scared
- 36:19Speaker 2: and hits him. He's the most powerful high lord and
- 36:23Speaker 2: she knocked him on his ass. Hi, Fay couldn't do that.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Lucian couldn't do that. There's a couple of best exactly. Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 2: So the crumbling, so I think like the breaking of
- 36:32Speaker 2: all the windows, the crumbling of the fork, the hit,
- 36:36Speaker 2: knocking Tamblin over when he's literally the most a bit
- 36:39Speaker 2: of resent saying at the end, then you.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Want to find out you just had twelve high lads,
- 36:44Speaker 1: see if they did anything else?
- 36:45Speaker 2: Seven highlights, seven high lords. Yeah. I think she's going
- 36:49Speaker 2: to be the key to something and she's going to
- 36:51Speaker 2: end something again. Yeah, do you reckon?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Well, how do you what's gonna happen to the wedding.
- 36:58Speaker 1: She's gonna go back and say she's not ready. Yeah,
- 37:00Speaker 1: she's going to tell them what she'start.
- 37:01Speaker 2: That's gonna be the start of their relationship not working. Oh, understand,
- 37:05Speaker 2: their relationship didn't hasn't been working. Yeah, well he wants
- 37:08Speaker 2: it for a sex, yeah, I guess. Yeah. Well, I
- 37:12Speaker 2: think what all he wants her for is the look
- 37:15Speaker 2: of what she gives. I want to protect you. She's
- 37:17Speaker 2: the savior and they're married, so they're perfect. Silly, it's
- 37:21Speaker 2: a terrible boyfriend.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Ah well, my predictions are something similar. I think she's
- 37:27Speaker 1: going to figure out all of her powers and she
- 37:31Speaker 1: is gonna start looking forward to it and derectly gonna
- 37:33Speaker 1: sleep together.
- 37:33Speaker 2: That's what everyone wants to know. Recent and yeah and fair.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Yeah so your love triangle you mentioned the love triangle
- 37:40Speaker 2: is going to turn into a just a recent and
- 37:42Speaker 2: favorite triangle. Yeah, okay, a recent and favorite line. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:47Speaker 2: I'm here for it too. I'm excited.
- 37:50Speaker 1: It's so there's so much unknown that the predictions are
- 37:53Speaker 1: just like, I don't know which way is so much unknown?
- 37:57Speaker 2: Just add our fingertips. We don't have it yet. Wait
- 37:59Speaker 2: a second, I think I have one more prediction. What so,
- 38:05Speaker 2: I don't remember where it was in those chapters, but
- 38:06Speaker 2: Resend says something about I think he says like, unlike
- 38:14Speaker 2: the war loving spring Court. Do you remember that? Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 2: he says something about the spring Court loving war, because
- 38:22Speaker 2: we know Tamlin's parents did, and Tamlin claims to be
- 38:26Speaker 2: the first one that didn't. Do you think that what's
- 38:31Speaker 2: going to happen is Tamlin has been trying to brainwash
- 38:38Speaker 2: Favra right, slowly gain her trust, get her to fall
- 38:44Speaker 2: in love with him. Proposed because he knows how strong
- 38:49Speaker 2: she is. Ah proposed to make it seem as though
- 38:53Speaker 2: like we're locked in for life and we're immortal. And
- 39:00Speaker 2: then he was going to slowly convince her that the
- 39:05Speaker 2: mortal lands need to be reclaimed as part of Prithian
- 39:10Speaker 2: and him, Tamlin and King Highburn are going to work
- 39:16Speaker 2: together to take a disagree and and the rest of
- 39:21Speaker 2: Prithian Recent is going to fuck Tamlin off Recent Recent
- 39:26Speaker 2: in the other Dawn the Night, that's what they're going
- 39:27Speaker 2: to fight for. That's what they're going to fight for.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Do you think Tamlin does a big old double cross
- 39:36Speaker 2: because he loves war? It's a good take. I don't.
- 39:40Speaker 2: That's a crazy take.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I don't think that's gonna happen though, just because he
- 39:45Speaker 1: seems to he seemed to was he lying the whole
- 39:48Speaker 1: first book about he likes mortals, like he didn't seem
- 39:51Speaker 1: too much to care about him, like whereas a lot
- 39:54Speaker 1: of other fairies hate them, whereas he was just like, oh,
- 39:57Speaker 1: yeah they are.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I'm excited, so you may Yeah, I'm excited too's I
- 40:05Speaker 2: got to say, how many chapters are we reading next time? Mate?
- 40:09Speaker 2: I honestly I would love to do more.
- 40:12Speaker 1: It's just that I think seven again works well. Yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: chapters in this book a lot, because those chapters.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Were way longer than the first book. Reckon.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's way longer the first I swear
- 40:24Speaker 1: the first chapters like in the other book, like ten baites.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Not even they were a fair bit shorter. Yeah, okay,
- 40:34Speaker 2: sixty eight that's tens episodes. Then true, that works out.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Well, we'll do seven and if we if they start
- 40:44Speaker 1: to go a bit quicker, because I think that's a
- 40:46Speaker 1: good amount of time.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of the comments, what you like to
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah again, I think we're asking them like what do
- 40:52Speaker 2: you guys want? We're still figuring it out. We're still
- 40:54Speaker 2: figuring it out, Like just then, was that too much?
- 40:56Speaker 2: Recapp and you guys wanted to be like genuinely shorter
- 40:59Speaker 2: and just really don't have any notes all based off
- 41:02Speaker 2: memory and blah blah blah blah blah. I need the notes.
- 41:06Speaker 2: You're one of the kind with your memory made. Yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 2: I remember they were really good day so well yeah yeah, yeah,
- 41:12Speaker 2: so yeah, I'd love to know. I think, I think,
- 41:14Speaker 2: I think that's pretty good. I enjoyed the way we
- 41:16Speaker 2: did that. Yeah, I enjoyed that too. Yeah. So that's
- 41:19Speaker 2: our predictions.
- 41:19Speaker 1: We'll see you next week at chapter fourteen. Join Battie's
- 41:24Speaker 1: unit of Battie's Night patroon if you want for the
- 41:26Speaker 1: extra episode early on a Monday.
