1:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Jessen, I'm really good.
1:43
[SPEAKER_06]: There's one thing that I love.
1:44
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a bunch of fuckery in this episode has so much fuckery on all of us.
1:49
[SPEAKER_05]: They do be fucking in this episode.
1:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I mean, that, but also the shenanigans that will go and write Amy get into.
1:59
[SPEAKER_06]: constitutes to me as fuckery as well, so.
2:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
2:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm excited to talk about smashed.
2:08
[SPEAKER_06]: It was a smashing good time, I suppose.
2:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
2:11
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm wearing it on a loan.
2:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm joining us someone who chose season six episode nine smashed nice to talk about our friend and yours, Tom Palmer.
2:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Tom, how are you?
2:24
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good, just just here appreciating the home renovation that Buffy and Spike did on this house.
2:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Robert, you did.
2:36
[SPEAKER_03]: You.
2:36
[SPEAKER_03]: I really want a lot of home renovation.
2:39
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the key is you have to find an abandoned house firmly just like a cracked end.
2:45
[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's still just like a beautiful chandelier in the middle of it.
2:49
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no, it's a man in how I think that that Shandelier has was installed since probably building it in late the 1920s.
2:59
[SPEAKER_06]: So they kept it in the house.
3:03
[SPEAKER_05]: We'll get it into it.
3:05
[SPEAKER_06]: Talking about White House is just.
3:09
[SPEAKER_06]: Like remember last episode we're talking about Vanessa Carlton.
3:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yes.
3:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
3:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
3:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
3:16
[SPEAKER_06]: This is also reminded me a lot about the notebook when Noah brought Ali back to his house.
3:23
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
3:24
[SPEAKER_06]: The abandoned house that he was going to make for her.
3:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
3:27
[SPEAKER_05]: The thing is is they didn't tear the house down with their fucking.
3:31
[SPEAKER_06]: They have
3:32
[SPEAKER_06]: That could have been a deleted scene, just like how they deleted the last scene of them dying together, which is the most egregious thing that's ever happened.
3:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
3:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
3:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Catch it on a streaming service.
3:46
[SPEAKER_06]: They took away that scene, which is fun.
3:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Literally the point of watching it.
3:50
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because I would like, when Adam and I first are dating and he would do anything for me.
3:56
[SPEAKER_06]: he and I watched the notebook and because he never saw it before and I was like waiting till like basically you wait until that end scene like that's the scene and it didn't show it and I was like that's not the ending and he agreed to do that with you if one of you were going to die the other one would die with them no we didn't talk about that he was just like why is this moving nine hours long and they're supposed to be an extra scene.
4:22
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, well, yeah, he doesn't like movies, but that's why I'm saying like back when he was courting me.
4:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Good watch.
4:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Wow, I want to start off the podcast by yet again yelling into the abyss about the previously ons because I tried to skip past them like literally I try, but they gave me just
4:49
[SPEAKER_03]: It was all Amy.
4:51
[SPEAKER_05]: It was all Amy's face instantly and I was like well guess she's coming back to be in a human this episode.
4:57
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean granted it's like the first thing that happens in the episode.
4:59
[SPEAKER_05]: But like as pissed, like I want to be surprised by the fucking stop it with your nonsense.
5:06
[SPEAKER_05]: It's so annoying.
5:09
[SPEAKER_06]: whatever.
5:09
[SPEAKER_06]: It's fine.
5:10
[SPEAKER_06]: Do about it, Jess.
5:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Like can just complain.
5:13
[SPEAKER_06]: Me complain.
5:13
[SPEAKER_06]: I try to fast forward through them.
5:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Do not have like the skip ahead 30 seconds.
5:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I do.
5:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I do, but like I hit play and the first thing I saw was right in his face.
5:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Like I didn't have enough time to do it.
5:25
[SPEAKER_05]: But I guess let's start with with Willow and no longer ratini.
5:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Um,
5:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I just, and I know I hate Willow right now, so like literally anything she does pisses me off.
5:38
[SPEAKER_05]: But I was infuriated that she is, because the way this comes off is, I've been broken up with.
5:46
[SPEAKER_05]: My girlfriend has left me for reasons I disagree with.
5:51
[SPEAKER_05]: She can't handle my cool witchy magic.
5:54
[SPEAKER_05]: She can't handle how powerful I am.
5:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh!
5:58
[SPEAKER_05]: What's this now?
5:59
[SPEAKER_05]: The rat I forgot about for multiple years.
6:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, rat Amy, how are you doing?
6:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, ding-dong bell goes off in my head.
6:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I suddenly know how to fix you.
6:10
[SPEAKER_05]: I say like five fucking words and you're a human.
6:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Bitch, where was this spell years ago?
6:17
[SPEAKER_06]: It's been three years!
6:19
[SPEAKER_06]: Just so you're absolutely fucking insane because like for the last two seasons you've been complaining about why it has nobody done anything about this a couple of episodes you were complaining that By Amy is absolutely nowhere to be found and then not only do we see right Amy in situation while taking care of not abandon at the dorms like we speculated and she finally fixed the issue yes it took a couple years, but
6:47
[SPEAKER_06]: She probably would have been powerful enough to conjure that information anyway, or she could have just done some research.
6:53
[SPEAKER_06]: You're not happy.
6:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Now because she doesn't, when she's got a band by her girlfriend, she's like, oh, suddenly I'm single.
6:59
[SPEAKER_05]: And no one wants to hang out with me.
7:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I'll turn my rat friend back into a human.
7:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Tom, like, how much correlation do you see between Willow realizing that she might be able to fix the right Amy problem and the breakup of Tara, because I, my head did not go there.
7:16
[SPEAKER_03]: She didn't have time.
7:17
[SPEAKER_03]: This, this, come across.
7:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Do you guys get jealous where, and sometimes you have something on your to do this where you're like, yeah, I need to get this done this weekend, and then it's, it's like Sunday and you're like, you know what, I could do this next week.
7:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And then three years later, you finally do that then.
7:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's kind of how it came across to be like,
7:38
[SPEAKER_03]: And you finally do it and it only takes like a couple minutes and you really could have done it a long time ago, but you put it out for this so long.
7:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, normally it's like I don't try to think of like cleaning cleaning something out that you should you should have cleaned out like cleaning.
7:55
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I totally, I absolutely know what you're saying and I too have experienced that as well where it's just like, oh, like I don't want to do this like this is going to be so like hard or whatever and then when you finally do it, it is such a not a big deal, but you keep building up it on the top of their head.
8:17
[SPEAKER_06]: But if you think about it, like, her, like, willow is like, okay, well, I have to like save the world from the mayor and the giant snake and then she's like, okay, I have to save the world from the initiative and like this coffee robot.
8:30
[SPEAKER_06]: And now I have to save the world from this like crazy, really hot, like a god that's taking over this like other hot, doctor's body.
8:43
[SPEAKER_06]: I feel and then all between that is like all the stupid monster the weeks that she also has to deal with so yeah like maybe it only took her a matter of minutes, but just like can't you agree that a year ago she probably wouldn't have been able to.
9:00
[SPEAKER_06]: be like reveal and then the image reveal.
9:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe, however, I would also argue that with Tara's help and jiles in the Scooby-S helping to research, they probably could have fucking figured this out a while ago.
9:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And yes, they got other stuff on their plate, but this is a human being.
9:17
[SPEAKER_05]: This is a human being trapped in a rat's body.
9:20
[SPEAKER_06]: She's a human being, but I don't even think so, because even if, so let's, we all play D&D here at one point in time.
9:28
[SPEAKER_06]: just because like let's call it the world, you know, not that one, the wizard.
9:34
[SPEAKER_06]: A wizard, a lower level wizard can read a spell, but that doesn't mean that they have the magical capabilities to perform the spell.
9:42
[SPEAKER_06]: I think that that's the issue.
9:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, yeah, willow maybe three years ago could just say reveal and it would have done shit just because you have the book and the spell doesn't mean that it's going to
9:56
[SPEAKER_06]: work and she found and Tara's not more powerful than her and jiles is not more powerful than her and the three of them are is not more powerful than how she's powerful now.
10:09
[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't think like
10:11
[SPEAKER_06]: It's not like the spells actually and that's just to reveal the spell itself because the spell itself was like some sort of like lie in Italian bullshit thing So like even if she had that spell like she found in a book that doesn't mean that she recites that spell two years ago She was able to do it like I know the point is she doesn't the point is she wasn't even looking for the book
10:36
[SPEAKER_05]: The point is that it was like, who, because we never saw Raimi, until Tara is gone, then suddenly she cares because she's like, oh, because you're like, oh, we're going to focus on Ms. Kidney Fantastico until we're bored with her.
10:50
[SPEAKER_05]: And oh, now we're spread Amy, no what?
10:53
[SPEAKER_05]: No, as we don't even get Raimi companion for the past three years.
10:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Do you practice watching Willow and Tara on the
11:01
[SPEAKER_06]: but be life feeds 24, 7 like you know what they do all day and all night because I have not had access to those feeds.
11:12
[SPEAKER_03]: I have not had access to those feeds.
11:14
[SPEAKER_03]: I will say, do you remember the last time you saw Amy as a human?
11:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Was it like, but season two, like it was a long time ago?
11:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I have no idea.
11:26
[SPEAKER_03]: So I actually was on the episode.
11:28
[SPEAKER_03]: It was back in season four, something.
11:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, you were on the episode that's so funny.
11:35
[SPEAKER_05]: We should have known that you were going to be coming.
11:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I just really thought you were like, season 69.
11:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
11:41
[SPEAKER_05]: I really thought that was the reason you wanted to come.
11:44
[SPEAKER_03]: So the back in season four, it was after something flew and Willow accidentally turned her into a human and then accidentally turned her back into a row.
11:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
11:54
[SPEAKER_03]: And so that's my one point of disagreement with Sarah where I'm like, well, well, it has managed to turn her back into a human on accident.
12:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Can you remind me of like the the detail surrounding, I remember it was very fleeting, but like, how did she do it?
12:09
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember it.
12:11
[SPEAKER_06]: It was a wish spell.
12:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Wasn't it?
12:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Like the whole thing was like, oh, I wish I would do X, Y, and Z.
12:18
[SPEAKER_06]: And it would happen.
12:20
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think she was like, I wish to turn right Amy into he.
12:23
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't remember what I found this film to turn around Amy back into a human.
12:27
[SPEAKER_06]: It was, um, what did she say to make it happen?
12:31
[SPEAKER_03]: So it was like her will be done and then like she would just like randomly say things like you don't do anything at all and jiles went blind and well if she they're they're in love with each other so much they spike in buffy should just get married and then spike in buffy got thinking oh I got they really see it a lot there huh
12:49
[SPEAKER_06]: And so then wait so but then how what did she say to make right in you just like I can't even turn turn.
12:55
[SPEAKER_03]: I read it into a human and he turns back into a human she's going to be stuck in the right forever she turned back.
13:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yeah.
13:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
13:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
13:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Well.
13:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Either way, regardless, Amy is now a human, and Gryllipop is so fucking traumatized, because she doesn't even know.
13:12
[SPEAKER_05]: She's had little rat-brain for years.
13:14
[SPEAKER_05]: She has no clue this much time has passed, and yet, she's still quite the like evilish.
13:25
[SPEAKER_06]: She was not an evil witch, it was her mom who was the evil witch, right, and she was like living in the trophy for like the rest of her life.
13:36
[SPEAKER_06]: But on the same time we met Amy, she was a little evil, right, Tom?
13:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't recall, but she was, she got like a little, a little dowse of evil.
13:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, she was like using magic to make make her teachers think that she'd turned in her homework on time properly.
13:53
[SPEAKER_03]: And like, Zander caught her doing that in Zander, like black-billed her into like casting the love spell to try and make Cordelia fall off with Zander, but then it backfired it all the women in town fell in love with Zander.
14:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
14:08
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
14:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, I'm so...
14:14
[SPEAKER_05]: So right Amy is back, Willow is trying to help talk her through things, but it's really interesting because Willow is like, hey, do you want to like go see your dad?
14:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, yes, it's been a bunch of years and she's like,
14:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Nah.
14:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I want to go fuck shit up at the brawms.
14:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Actually, let's go have fun.
14:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go fuck around.
14:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, brawms.
14:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Once again, respect it, right Amy, because I'm maybe I would rather have fun than go visit my parent.
14:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Like real.
14:48
[SPEAKER_06]: They think she's gone, like they think she's dead.
14:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Who cares?
14:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's not like he's been putting out wanted posters.
14:58
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe that was one of the questions that she asked Willow as my age.
15:02
[SPEAKER_06]: My dad's still looking for me.
15:03
[SPEAKER_06]: And Willow was like, no, so she's like fine.
15:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Then let's go have some fun.
15:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, the other thing is she's like, oh, no, I don't feel like going to see him.
15:13
[SPEAKER_05]: He'll ask to any questions.
15:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And immediately fucking genius Willow was like, oh, I could help.
15:23
[SPEAKER_05]: You absolutely fucking can, Willow.
15:26
[SPEAKER_05]: You suck at that spell.
15:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Stop it.
15:29
[SPEAKER_03]: She's actually pretty good at that spell.
15:31
[SPEAKER_03]: She was able to, I haven't gotten your full reactions, but she was able to wipe Tara's memory.
15:37
[SPEAKER_06]: Tom, just know that I was pissed.
15:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Just as blood pressure has been increasing per episode.
15:48
[SPEAKER_06]: And she has, as I recently found out, very good blood pressure.
15:54
[SPEAKER_06]: It's so like kind of eventually comes to like 120 over 80, which is a very respectable blood pressure for just that's like very high, so she was like, oh, no, like you're too worked up from willow, you can't stop the anger.
16:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, so I guess my question for you, Jess is so you're obviously mad at will and understandably so now do you think it's bad writing or do you think.
16:19
[SPEAKER_03]: It's good.
16:22
[SPEAKER_05]: I have no problem with the actual like storyline.
16:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it tracks with everything we've seen from Willow.
16:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I think they've done a really good job at like setting it up over the years of the show.
16:33
[SPEAKER_05]: We've seen it with Oz.
16:34
[SPEAKER_05]: We now see it with Tara.
16:35
[SPEAKER_05]: We've seen it with the Scooby's all kind of concern that she's really going a little too far with the magic stuff.
16:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's not bad writing.
16:43
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just fucking mad at her.
16:45
[SPEAKER_05]: She fucking sucks.
16:46
[SPEAKER_05]: She's doing bad things and she's doing dumb things.
16:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It's one thing to be smart and powerful and it's another thing to be fucking stupid and powerful and she's on the fucking stupid and powerful track right now with just doing dumb useless shit, which we'll get into and it comes to the bronze.
17:07
[SPEAKER_05]: But no, I have no problem with the writing itself.
17:09
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's very smart writing.
17:11
[SPEAKER_05]: But her and Amy, they're like, let's go fucking party, let's go party.
17:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So they're going to go to the bronze and I need to understand, because I, I, Tom, you probably know better than us, like, what age these characters are at this point.
17:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's say they're 21, right?
17:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's give them the benefit of the doubt that the bronze isn't serving underage kids and drinks.
17:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
17:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So, 21 year-old orders of martini, like never in my fucking life.
17:38
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, no, no.
17:41
[SPEAKER_05]: No, are you saying no they don't or no you just agree with me.
17:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I disagree with you really I would never I'm getting a strawberry Dachary I'm getting something that you can't taste the alcohol in.
17:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so you have to remember so like this is like 2001 2002 We're coming off of like sex in the city or an even like sex in the city is still airing at this time um and I I think that
18:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think that it's totally reasonable.
18:14
[SPEAKER_06]: I think I was influenced to get more T-neas when I was that age because of sex and city.
18:22
[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, I won 100% think that they would.
18:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know Tom, I mean, I don't think they you were ordering more T-neas and I wasn't all student.
18:35
[SPEAKER_03]: My issue is, so to be
18:39
[SPEAKER_03]: completely candid.
18:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Like vodka was kind of the drinking high school because it looked like water and you could put it in water bottles.
18:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
18:46
[SPEAKER_03]: By the time I was cheap to.
18:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
18:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And so by the time I could legally drink, I did not want vodka like it all.
18:54
[SPEAKER_03]: That was the reason I wouldn't do weren't he's it?
18:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And I did kind of always like the fruity drinks.
19:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Or like, yeah, I wanted to
19:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's just interesting that this is what they're they're choosing to drink and they're like playing pool and once it's like just use fucking like sticks.
19:17
[SPEAKER_05]: What are they called?
19:18
[SPEAKER_05]: What are they called?
19:19
[SPEAKER_05]: The pool sticks.
19:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Just use a fucking pool stick.
19:21
[SPEAKER_05]: You fucking weirdos.
19:23
[SPEAKER_05]: No, we're going to use our mind magic to fucking play pool.
19:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, alright, get over yourselves.
19:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I really can't.
19:28
[SPEAKER_05]: It's way too much.
19:29
[SPEAKER_03]: They love their magic, Chess.
19:30
[SPEAKER_03]: They just want to kiss you.
19:32
[SPEAKER_03]: They just want to kiss you.
19:33
[SPEAKER_03]: They just want to kiss you.
19:34
[SPEAKER_05]: They just want to kiss you.
19:35
[SPEAKER_06]: They just want to kiss you.
19:36
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's why it's fun.
19:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Like seriously, I loved this.
19:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Like I have zero complaints.
19:42
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was so fun.
19:43
[SPEAKER_06]: I love like what they were doing.
19:45
[SPEAKER_06]: I love how pointless the magic was.
19:47
[SPEAKER_06]: They were having fun.
19:48
[SPEAKER_06]: They looked young and wild and free.
19:51
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like,
19:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Man, I I I loved it.
19:56
[SPEAKER_06]: I loved every second of the these two at the bronze.
19:59
[SPEAKER_06]: I like just your genuinely like this is stupid because I thought it was really cool.
20:05
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't so I guess I I think it makes sense for them to be doing.
20:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
20:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think Amy's been trapped in a rat for years now.
20:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, she wants to go do something like very fun and young and have a good time.
20:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Willow is in the middle of a really tough breakup.
20:22
[SPEAKER_05]: So it makes sense to me that she would be like, yes, let's go have fun, especially because normally she's with the Scoobies and everything is so serious.
20:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, the entire world is falling apart every second of every day.
20:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Makes sense to me, she would want to go blow off some
20:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I am so on terror side with just the like her it is so easy for her to just use magic instead of just doing things normally that it is like so over the top and I don't understand.
20:52
[SPEAKER_05]: I really thought this episode we were going to see Willow flip a switch a little bit.
21:00
[SPEAKER_05]: on like a maybe C. Tara's point of view, specifically when we get the two guys that are interested in them, and Amy is going to go dance with one of them, but willow because we can't have a bisexual character in this day and age is only allowed to be gay, not by.
21:19
[SPEAKER_05]: So she's not interested in the other boy, and so Amy like does this magic, because again, she's very powerful.
21:26
[SPEAKER_05]: She like snaps her fingers and like a young woman
21:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And, like, Tom, obviously what it was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
21:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Pretty scary.
21:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Because that was the first thing on my mind.
21:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Was like that with Willow seeing what another very powerful witch in Amy and seeing what that can do if it goes unchecked, like how destructive it could be or how scary it could be.
22:13
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought that was she was finally gonna like, it was gonna click for her, but not at all.
22:18
[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, who gives a fuck about this girl's consent?
22:21
[SPEAKER_05]: No, bye, bye, bye, go sit back down.
22:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Like what the fuck?
22:26
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I thought that it was like, oh, look, she's really just sad about Tara.
22:32
[SPEAKER_06]: She's not ready to move on.
22:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I, I, I realized that later, but I first I thought this was going to be the moment that like something was going to change for her, but they just get up to all sorts of fuckery and listen, if there's one thing, I appreciate one use of magic that I was cheering for.
22:52
[SPEAKER_05]: It was these fucking loser assholes who were like,
22:56
[SPEAKER_05]: We don't like it when women say no, we don't recognize you're consent and they're like, oh, yeah, fucking gogo dancers and cages, see you later, that Props to them.
23:09
[SPEAKER_05]: That was great.
23:10
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so there we go.
23:11
[SPEAKER_06]: That was fun.
23:11
[SPEAKER_06]: There.
23:12
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, very good.
23:13
[SPEAKER_06]: It does get a little a lot of hand, but it's see like I mean, my main question is like the sheep Tom
23:25
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, everything else seemed pretty quote, quote, but the shit.
23:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, my, the shit doesn't interest it.
23:32
[SPEAKER_03]: My big thing is what happened to the male band when they replaced them with the female singer?
23:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, was the, Willow doesn't get a fudge.
23:41
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the pocket dimension thing again, maybe.
23:44
[SPEAKER_03]: They turned them into the woman singer or were they teleported somewhere else away while then teleported in the female singer.
23:55
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I was just thinking that they transformed, it was still the male singers, but transformed into women was fine.
24:04
[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's possibility.
24:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
24:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Were they seeing the same song?
24:09
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it was completely different.
24:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they did.
24:12
[SPEAKER_05]: They do sound like crazy shit.
24:14
[SPEAKER_05]: They like change the singers.
24:16
[SPEAKER_05]: There's random fucking sheep that come in.
24:18
[SPEAKER_05]: There's like, she, willow makes one person really small and another person really tall.
24:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Why?
24:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Why?
24:27
[SPEAKER_06]: We're fun and because they can.
24:31
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, all right, on a set of best like she said it's it's those types it's the types that willow is like the ones with the level head when they get the power they.
24:45
[SPEAKER_06]: the power like they they start to be like I'm going to take advantage of it.
24:50
[SPEAKER_05]: Like yeah, you know, is this Sarah is this the same as like uh you're in high school.
24:57
[SPEAKER_05]: You have very strict parents.
24:58
[SPEAKER_05]: You're never allowed to do anything.
25:00
[SPEAKER_05]: You go away to college and suddenly you're having three sums and going to orgies.
25:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Like you're letting loose.
25:07
[SPEAKER_06]: thousand percent.
25:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like she and nobody is sobbing her.
25:13
[SPEAKER_06]: She's with somebody who is enabling it.
25:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Tara is not there.
25:17
[SPEAKER_06]: She's not with Giles.
25:19
[SPEAKER_06]: She's not with like Zander and Ania, like nobody's checking her.
25:24
[SPEAKER_06]: Like she can finally do whatever the Frick She wants.
25:27
[SPEAKER_06]: So she's going to do stuff that in her mind is seemingly harmless because in a matter of minutes, she's like, this is kind of boring.
25:34
[SPEAKER_06]: I, you know, we've done we've played this out and then she goes reverse or something like that and everything goes back to normal.
25:42
[SPEAKER_06]: What are the repercussions.
25:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Really, I mean, the answer is that eventually you're going to do something that's so dangerous that you're not going to be able to reverse it, but in this instance, she feels justified because there are no repercussions that everything goes back the same.
26:00
[SPEAKER_06]: and everything went back the same when she wiped everybody's memories and everything was fine and the other time and I think that's the issue also like she had their besides losing Tara there's been no repercussions to her doing magic or you know buffie getting ripped out of heaven and is super traumatized and fucked up in the head but we just we just move on from
26:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Honestly, she can mask that with the fact that I literally saved life.
26:36
[SPEAKER_06]: So, I don't know.
26:37
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
26:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And when she was at the beginning of the episode, she was talking to Rat Amy as a rat.
26:41
[SPEAKER_03]: And she was like, when you're girl from Bikes up with you for no good reason.
26:44
[SPEAKER_03]: She was like, so she, she did, she's like care broke up with me for no good reason.
26:49
[SPEAKER_03]: There was no.
26:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And at the end of this episode with Rahimi, they're like, I keep calling her.
26:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I should say, no, she's right.
26:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, we can call her right, Amy.
26:58
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to call her right, Amy.
26:59
[SPEAKER_05]: We're all right, let's do it.
27:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's do it.
27:01
[SPEAKER_05]: She's like, Rahimi, at the very end of the episode, they're like, oh, I'm bored now.
27:06
[SPEAKER_05]: There must be someplace bigger.
27:08
[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like, geez, that's fucking crazy.
27:11
[SPEAKER_05]: So now what are we doing?
27:12
[SPEAKER_05]: but like it's going to be so fun because it's going to be so bad.
27:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Well here's the thing Sarah I would have said it's not for the fact that Angel is on a different network now and little or I would have said like oh they're going to LA like it's like oh they're going to go to a big city like Allah like Everwood we're going to Denver like oh we're going to LA like but that's me.
27:35
[SPEAKER_06]: Tom how close do you think like San
27:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, maybe three or four hours.
27:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Are they closer to a lay?
27:49
[SPEAKER_06]: They said they're about to get out.
27:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're closer to a lay.
27:52
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
27:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they're close to Palm Springs.
27:55
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
27:56
[SPEAKER_05]: But they're going to get up to some shit next episode.
27:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm thinking this maybe will be the moment where something goes like terribly horribly wrong.
28:04
[SPEAKER_06]: But like, I don't even think that that's going to stop her.
28:07
[SPEAKER_06]: I think she's fucking dumb.
28:09
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's okay to keep escalating and escalating.
28:12
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm just like, I'm excited to see what her rific thing is she's going to get up to because it's
28:19
[SPEAKER_06]: It's like this is gorgeous scratching the surface like she is going to fun some shit up and it's going to be terrible, but that means it's so fun and hilarious.
28:28
[SPEAKER_06]: I think I'm just you need to let go of the anger and just lean in and I just wish that she really like like.
28:36
[SPEAKER_05]: I think my problem is what Tom was saying earlier, where she's like, tear a broke up with me for no good read.
28:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Bitch, just own it.
28:44
[SPEAKER_05]: If she owned it, I think I would be more here for it.
28:47
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the fact that she's like, I'm not doing anything wrong.
28:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And that just like pisses me to fuck off.
28:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh God, it just pisses me off.
28:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Because she's doing things wrong.
28:57
[SPEAKER_05]: But whatever, I can't wait to see what kind of shit her and running you get up to.
29:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Once again, does do, did,
29:04
[SPEAKER_06]: any of her other villains, think what they were doing was wrong.
29:08
[SPEAKER_05]: Daddy, daddy, baby, oh, maybe not daddy next to the mayor.
29:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Definitely like loved being evil.
29:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Glory loved being evil.
29:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Love being evil, but do you think that what their mission was was wrong?
29:22
[SPEAKER_06]: Does that make sense?
29:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like they go hand in hand, that like they're like, I'm doing evil and I know it and I love it.
29:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like the mayor and glory both were like that.
29:33
[SPEAKER_06]: No, we wanted to go back home that was her mission and like sure like if Like the world turns inside out then like who cares like because she Wanted to but like she she that was self-interest.
29:49
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember what the mayor wanted
29:51
[SPEAKER_03]: He wanted to be a snake and eat people, so I think he would admit that he was evil, but like yeah, but okay, so it wasn't like he was trying to Yeah, but he VAMs was just being a good dad, so we really can't The vampires are pretty open about being evil.
30:12
[SPEAKER_06]: They're like right we like killing and in eating people but also that's their only way of getting food
30:19
[SPEAKER_06]: unless the e-pigs blood, which is apparently very disgusting.
30:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
30:23
[SPEAKER_06]: I believe it.
30:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
30:26
[SPEAKER_03]: And jealous sort of liked playing games with Buffy that were pretty evil.
30:31
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think he was like, this is this is good.
30:33
[SPEAKER_06]: This is going to help Buffy when you play in jealous and jealous the villain of season two.
30:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
30:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
30:41
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh.
30:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Spike was sort of the decoy.
30:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
30:45
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought, but not Drew because Drew was like out of her mind the whole time.
30:50
[SPEAKER_06]: Drew was like a co villain, because in my head, I always forget about Angela's, and I'm just like, yeah, the villains of season two were spike in Drew, but that wasn't, that's not true.
31:02
[SPEAKER_03]: No, Angelus was being like the starter villains.
31:06
[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like that, like I put spike in Drew in the big bad category, but ultimately, I think Angelus went up them and became like the real big bad of season.
31:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that was so fun.
31:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, okay.
31:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I want to talk a little bit about the loser trio because they're still here.
31:27
[SPEAKER_05]: They're still here in this time.
31:29
[SPEAKER_05]: They're stealing a diamond from a museum.
31:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And now I feel like it's like despicable me.
31:35
[SPEAKER_05]: like they have a fucking freeze ray and I don't understand what is happening, we're stealing a diamond, we get caught by security because we're all fucking stupid and then we have to freeze ray him, but we also are accidentally freeze raying our own arm.
31:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so this is, I think this is their third appearance and they haven't been caught, so they're going to, there's going to be more apparent, I mean, sorry that's, I know that's technically a spoiler, but like,
32:03
[SPEAKER_05]: No, not necessarily.
32:04
[SPEAKER_05]: They haven't caught yet.
32:07
[SPEAKER_03]: How do you feel of that as them as the recurring villains possibly the big bad of season six?
32:12
[SPEAKER_05]: If there's a big fucking bad, I'm going to be even more mad than I am about Willow.
32:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I think the big bad of this season is like actually just like inner demons, depression, whatever.
32:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I do think we need something more of substance than these
32:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but I think they do provide a certain amount of comedic relief.
32:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's like funny, right?
32:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Like the scene where the guy is doing the like, I don't know if it's mission impossible, but I'm going to say it.
32:42
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a mission impossible.
32:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, where he's coming down from the ceiling and the other guy's like, you idiot.
32:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Like you don't have to do that.
32:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Like we could just go in and grab the diamond.
32:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I do like Sarah that like,
32:54
[SPEAKER_05]: As a result of them being loser idiots, the Scoobies are so baffled because they just assume it's like some kind of diamond eating freezing monster, but it's just a trio of morons.
33:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, they were like, you know, like everything is just
33:12
[SPEAKER_06]: So weird and I, like, you know, everything, like all the criminals are just like abnormal or two normal rather, um, and yeah, so I do like the therapy band Boozled to answer your question, um, yeah, like it, I just like, I just pay them no mind, honestly, like I, like it's just like, oh, we're doing this again.
33:36
[SPEAKER_06]: It's kind of like, um,
33:39
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, kind of like when we went into the initiative like last in season four, I was like, yeah, there's like stuff happening.
33:46
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if I really care about it because there's all this other stuff like care more about and even though it like links to the main.
33:56
[SPEAKER_06]: stuff of the season.
33:58
[SPEAKER_06]: I was just like whatever we're here again or like last season with the nights of potassium.
34:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I was like okay, we're doing it, you know, why not?
34:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Like yeah, there's just so much other stuff that I do care about, like the willow stuff, like the spike and Buffy stuff, that like when we come to like the loser squad, I'm just like,
34:19
[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't really care and we're here and we're doing this, like fine, whatever.
34:24
[SPEAKER_06]: So I just kind of pay them no mind.
34:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I will say I do like that they're pulling from the existing like side characters.
34:34
[SPEAKER_05]: They're like pulling from the history of the show.
34:36
[SPEAKER_05]: They're not just grabbing Rando's off the street.
34:39
[SPEAKER_05]: These are like besides the one guy who, you know, let's put it over.
34:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Two of the three of them.
34:43
[SPEAKER_05]: He's Tucker's brother, Jen.
34:45
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, the fuck is Tucker?
34:47
[SPEAKER_05]: No one cares.
34:48
[SPEAKER_05]: At least they're pulling people that like have been in the show before.
34:51
[SPEAKER_05]: They have a history, specifically Jonathan is like the bigger one, right?
34:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Like he's been really like embedded in the fabric of the show since the start.
34:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So I'd like that aspect of it, but I agree with Sarah.
35:01
[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of just like, who cares?
35:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Like they're just fucking around in the background.
35:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Like it's fine.
35:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Who cares?
35:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Whatever.
35:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
35:07
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean.
35:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Kind of to check and sort of overall season six thoughts.
35:16
[SPEAKER_03]: I think we've said this before.
35:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Season six is most polarizing season, where there are people who love season six and there are people who hate season six.
35:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I think for the people who hate season six, one of the big things is they really don't like the trio.
35:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh really, that's the, I would have thought that people would have disliked the like depression stuff, not the trio.
35:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's a real one.
35:41
[SPEAKER_03]: I would say this episode actually features a lot of the things that people are split on, like there are people who don't like what's happening with Willow.
35:49
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people don't like this stuffy.
35:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, really, because see this, okay, I'm obviously, well, but again, it's not going to be a polarizing.
35:58
[SPEAKER_03]: So there are a lot of people who don't like to love it.
36:00
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people who love it.
36:02
[SPEAKER_05]: This is, this is, this is probably certainly, in my opinion, as much as we'll talk about all of the stuff you stuff, but like, spuffy always felt to me like we recognize that the fans, it's almost like fan fiction come to life.
36:15
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like all the fans always wanted this.
36:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So they probably will like it when it actually happens.
36:19
[SPEAKER_06]: was there anybody, because I very well know with my lag of raffy edits that I tried to find, like were people hung up still with the angel and buffy of it all.
36:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
36:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
36:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Ew.
36:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Stop.
36:36
[SPEAKER_05]: He, okay.
36:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I need to PSA to people.
36:39
[SPEAKER_05]: They can build a fucking bridge and get over it.
36:42
[SPEAKER_05]: What are you talking about?
36:44
[SPEAKER_03]: I will also say that there were Buffy Angel fans, and then there were people who were just anti-spuffy.
36:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I think we'll get into... What do you think?
36:54
[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think?
36:55
[SPEAKER_05]: What do you think?
36:55
[SPEAKER_05]: What a, Sarah, what about your Ruffy fans?
36:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm saying there are no ruffy fans, you know what that's what I'm saying.
37:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Where are they?
37:03
[SPEAKER_05]: One of one.
37:04
[SPEAKER_03]: And I guess you like this.
37:06
[SPEAKER_06]: Todd was kind of how the Libra.
37:08
[SPEAKER_06]: I love that.
37:10
[SPEAKER_06]: People that are into actual relationships that could
37:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Last, the test of time, regardless of television interest, or into it, maybe, but I, I know I'm like one of one or one of two.
37:28
[SPEAKER_06]: There was no wrap yet.
37:30
[SPEAKER_06]: It's I looked for them as It's really able to provide, I think, like somebody kind of found something, but it was just,
37:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it was barely anything.
37:43
[SPEAKER_05]: I, I, interesting though that like, so I am so shocked to know how many people were like still wanting banjo.
37:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Because it just, I just don't get it.
37:56
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, just this again, remember, Twilight becomes a thing.
38:00
[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
38:01
[SPEAKER_06]: And Twilight love Edward and Bella.
38:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Were you not into Edward and Bella?
38:06
[SPEAKER_05]: me or Tom.
38:08
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I wasn't really twilight girly.
38:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I was like kind of team Jacob for like in the middle somewhere and then I was like fuck both of these guys.
38:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I think I was more of like a team no one.
38:23
[SPEAKER_05]: They are both toxic.
38:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and then and then you got vampire diaries with Stefan and don't even give me started.
38:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm on season five.
38:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I can't.
38:33
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, a Damian or Stefan.
38:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so I think the show very much wants you to be team, uh, team Stefan and Elena.
38:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Um, is that the, is that the, is that the, is that the angel or is that the, that's the angel one of the angel.
38:53
[SPEAKER_05]: He is broody.
38:54
[SPEAKER_05]: He is moody.
38:55
[SPEAKER_05]: He is sad boy.
38:57
[SPEAKER_03]: He kind of looks like David for you on it.
38:59
[SPEAKER_05]: He does a shorter version, I think.
39:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
39:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Not to spoil anything.
39:04
[SPEAKER_03]: They're like things in vampire diaries that are straight up ripoffs of buffet and angel where I'm like, oh yeah.
39:12
[SPEAKER_03]: And we're Stefan is very clearly the angel.
39:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
39:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, Damon, I was very much a demon girly in the beginning because of the fact that he's played by Ian Summer Holder, who's in last and on these other things, I recognize the
39:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Then they do a thing with him in season four where I am like, this is unforeable and really fucking upsetting and kind of ruins the ship for me.
39:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so I don't, does he agree, her?
39:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, it is more about a mythical element.
39:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Allah, the fairies.
39:46
[SPEAKER_05]: No, it is very, uh, spoilers for Vampire Diaries like skip ahead like a minute here.
39:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, it is very similar to very similar to almost like the imprinting from Twilight, where basically Damon turns Elena into a vampire and he ends up siring her, which basically means that like she will do
40:07
[SPEAKER_05]: anything to please him.
40:08
[SPEAKER_05]: And they literally start like having sex and getting into a relationship before either of them knows this, but it still makes it like so, so, so it key because we the audience are finding out about the Sire Bond, the very first sex scene and it's being like intercut with the sex scene, which ruins the sex scene because there's no fucking consent.
40:39
[SPEAKER_03]: season six is very polarizing their polarizing elements.
40:42
[SPEAKER_03]: One of the elements is the trio.
40:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, these people are like, these guys are mean.
40:48
[SPEAKER_03]: I think my defense of them, kind of, is that I think they're intentionally supposed to be lame.
40:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
40:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Because the big bad of the season is the depression.
40:57
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think if you've had like a cool glory big dad, it takes away from the
41:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Buffy would have a distraction.
41:05
[SPEAKER_03]: The Scoobies would have like an outside force to unite against.
41:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
41:09
[SPEAKER_03]: And instead they have these losers.
41:11
[SPEAKER_03]: And so, but they barely even are aware of or focused on.
41:16
[SPEAKER_05]: And I do think just like comedic bits.
41:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's just what they are to me in the episode.
41:21
[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm fine with it.
41:22
[SPEAKER_05]: I think.
41:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but speaking of the scoobies in their connection to the loser trio, they're all trying to figure out what the fuck's going on because they think it's some sort of a demon.
41:32
[SPEAKER_05]: So they're all trying to like study their missing jiles, jiles gets brought up a lot this episode because he's now gone, so they're, they can't rely on him anymore.
41:39
[SPEAKER_05]: And it also seems like all of them, I'm all by all of them.
41:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, uh, on ya, Zander and Buffy are not really talking to Willow about the fact that
41:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Tara left her because she's doing magic too much and they brochure subject like one time and that's about it and the only other time they talk about it is when Willow is off with Ratt Aeney and they're talking amongst themselves about like we all know Willow is doing too much magic onya even says once someone gets a good taste of bad it's difficult to bring them back so like they're all very
42:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Buffy I'll give a pass, girly pop was dead, she's depressed, she needs her lexapro, but like Santa could be having this conversation with all of someone needs to have this fucking conversation with Willow, like about this.
42:36
[SPEAKER_06]: She won't listen, what's the point?
42:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Which is something annoying.
42:40
[SPEAKER_06]: It's all annoying when it's like, I mean, this happens all the time with friends like you see them going down a certain path or something and you try to breach the subject.
42:52
[SPEAKER_06]: They don't really respond well and then it's like, I don't know, interventions don't work is my point.
43:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Have you ever had a situation where your friend broke up with someone, and your friend was the one in the wrong, but you're still.
43:09
[SPEAKER_03]: When they break up, you're still team with your friend.
43:12
[SPEAKER_03]: And so, like, that's sort of what where the scoobies are like.
43:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Terals on the right here, but we're team, we're team willow and there was only one time that instance worked where I was like.
43:25
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think it was during.
43:27
[SPEAKER_06]: It was definitely after the fact when they got back together.
43:29
[SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, look, friend, I love you to death, but like the whole time I was like really seeing his side of things.
43:39
[SPEAKER_06]: And she responded well, but she's also like one of my best friends.
43:42
[SPEAKER_06]: So most of the misorg, that's a great point, Tom, because like I, we talked about this in an episode or two ago, but
43:52
[SPEAKER_06]: all the scoobies like they got willow in the divorce.
43:58
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Tara is like out of the group, out of the group, and she has to make like special play dates but Dawn in order to spend time with her.
44:08
[SPEAKER_06]: She's like she gets like weekend custody of Dawn and that's it.
44:10
[SPEAKER_06]: She's like fully out of the Scoobies because of the breakup and like Willow, that's her friend group, which also blows because we all know Tyra has like no other friends like she has no she has zero other friends,
44:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I did like her scenes with Dawn.
44:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I really enjoyed the fact that we got those scenes because I feel like they could have just had them spoken about.
44:46
[SPEAKER_05]: But I really loved getting just like they went to the movies together.
44:49
[SPEAKER_05]: They got like milkshakes.
44:51
[SPEAKER_05]: I love Dawn trying to be a little manipulative in being like, oh don't you want to wait at home until someone comes otherwise I'll be all alone.
44:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I'll watch TV isn't it dark out?
45:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Like,
45:02
[SPEAKER_05]: I loved on being a little bit of a manipulator to get Terra to hang out and yeah, I just I always enjoyed their friendship.
45:10
[SPEAKER_05]: It felt like they did have a kinship as being like kind of different and a little bit on the outside of the group.
45:16
[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm still sad, Tom, because I think Terra is the one who should be allowed in the Scoobies, and we'll always should be kicked out.
45:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, but that's, I mean, that's just how the friendship for if you get on one team even if they're in the wrong.
45:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, um, and yeah, and I, I feel bad because
45:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Tara was not shutting down the, maybe you and Willow will get back together.
45:40
[SPEAKER_03]: She, I think, I don't think she's completely like, oh, that's never gonna happen, which after what happened, I think that's where she should be to be honest.
45:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I think she's hopeful that Willow will come to the realization on her own and that they'll be able to work things out.
45:56
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think she's not seeing Willow and Rat Amy at the bronze like fucking around, right?
46:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I think, yeah, I think she's still hopeful.
46:06
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm ready to get into the biggest story line of the episode, I think, and before we talk about all the fucking.
46:18
[SPEAKER_05]: We have to talk about the revelation we have this episode.
46:22
[SPEAKER_05]: which is that it turns out spike and Sarah when when I'm I'm going to tell you right now.
46:29
[SPEAKER_05]: So Thomas and our this podcast yet because we're pre recording a little bit last podcast that we recorded literally like two days ago.
46:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Sarah came up with a theory that that spikes chip was going to like dissolve.
46:43
[SPEAKER_05]: It was going to be it was no longer going to be working, but that he was going to like continue to be injured if he hurt someone, but it was more of a mental thing for him.
46:53
[SPEAKER_05]: And Sarah correct me if I'm wrong about that theory.
46:56
[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I stopped paying attention for a second because I'm all good.
47:00
[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry.
47:00
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm trying to
47:05
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
47:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, I was telling Tom about your spike chip theory.
47:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so while watching this episode, when he was able to hit Buffy and didn't have, like, any pain, I was like, Sarah did it, Sarah's stradomas.
47:18
[SPEAKER_05]: She knows what's happening.
47:20
[SPEAKER_05]: And then it turns out, no, the chip is actually functioning properly.
47:23
[SPEAKER_05]: However, we find out that in Buffy coming back to life,
47:30
[SPEAKER_05]: There is a part of her that is no longer human because Spike still can't hurt regular human people, but he can punch Buffy in the face a bunch of times.
47:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So, I don't know what any of that means.
47:46
[SPEAKER_05]: What do you think it means?
47:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, she's not a vampire.
47:48
[SPEAKER_05]: We, there's so many different,
47:54
[SPEAKER_05]: types of like mystical magical people in this world.
48:00
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's hard to say I would say she probably classifies as a demon.
48:09
[SPEAKER_05]: because like, right, like, okay, so in Angel, we have Lauren, right?
48:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, we have like demons that aren't necessarily like evil.
48:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I think because she died and came back to life, she's gonna come, like, she's gonna be something like that.
48:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, what if going all the way back, Sarah, all the way back to season one of this podcast of Buffy?
48:34
[SPEAKER_05]: What if she's an angel?
48:38
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna make a gosh.
48:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I just know that she's just like an undead, honestly.
48:43
[SPEAKER_06]: A little bit of an undead, like I think it's on me.
48:47
[SPEAKER_06]: She's not a zombie.
48:48
[SPEAKER_06]: She doesn't need to eat brains, but I think that's her arc.
48:54
[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
48:55
[SPEAKER_06]: She's just like a little bit undead, or yeah.
49:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
49:02
[SPEAKER_05]: We just know she's not human.
49:03
[SPEAKER_05]: And I like how we worked.
49:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I didn't like how we worked all this out, but I like how we worked this out.
49:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, the whole time, Buffy and Spike are fighting.
49:15
[SPEAKER_05]: It's very much like, okay, just like last episode, Spike says, you can't do all your feelings for me and Buffy's like, the hell I can.
49:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I can't do it.
49:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Giles, when I was kissing you.
49:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Ah, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
49:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, fuck, by the way, it's so fucked.
49:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, gross.
49:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, she's like, it only happened twice.
49:34
[SPEAKER_05]: It's not gonna happen again.
49:35
[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna happen again.
49:36
[SPEAKER_03]: The coffee jiles.
49:37
[SPEAKER_03]: That's unfortunately.
49:38
[SPEAKER_03]: That probably is a fandom that we don't need to acknowledge.
49:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Those people have that issue.
49:45
[SPEAKER_05]: That's sick of spuck.
49:47
[SPEAKER_05]: But the whole episode of Buffy is denying denying, denying, and Spike is getting very frustrated and at a certain point, Buffy fucking punches him in the face.
49:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And he then punches her back.
50:01
[SPEAKER_05]: And he has to pretend like he's hurt because he realizes that he's not actually hurt.
50:05
[SPEAKER_05]: And there's six soul, much physical fighting happening between them this episode.
50:09
[SPEAKER_05]: And here's the thing.
50:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Again, I watched Vampire Diaries.
50:13
[SPEAKER_05]: There's a certain amount of like, horny fighting, right?
50:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, that happens in Vampire Diaries a lot.
50:18
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, oh, step on my neck, call me daddy.
50:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, there's a lot of that sort of a stuff.
50:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
50:24
[SPEAKER_05]: This is like different.
50:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Because they're like fighting, fighting, but they're not fighting, but they're fighting.
50:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, Sarah, I want to know your read on this situation when Spike finds out.
50:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Buffie is an actually human, and he can hurt her.
50:42
[SPEAKER_05]: And he does the thing where he calls her, and he's like, meet me in the graveyard.
50:46
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess.
50:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
50:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, that.
50:50
[SPEAKER_05]: How are you how are you reading spikes like intentions like how are you reading his mood?
50:55
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he's like, okay, well, I think that it's like 50% I Want to murder her 50% I want to fuck her and what like however the night ends.
51:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I think that spike is okay with it.
51:09
[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think now that he knows that he can
51:14
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he, not I actually think that he would, but like I think that now that he knows that he can, this is like, that means that there is only one seemingly human in the world that he can kill, a passion of his that he had for a very long time.
51:32
[SPEAKER_06]: He was, um, so I think like he's like, oh, I can get a bit of me back, like, I can't, no, so like it's like a big deal to
51:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Slayer when your vampire.
51:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, right.
51:45
[SPEAKER_06]: She says that later in the episode.
51:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and he's on two, which is a lot, but, you know, three is more than two.
51:51
[SPEAKER_06]: And, um, I know math.
51:56
[SPEAKER_06]: She's really haggling hard on that Facebook market.
51:59
[SPEAKER_06]: Really doing well on our math home and I so that's number one.
52:04
[SPEAKER_06]: And then.
52:05
[SPEAKER_06]: But also like I think like he's like I'm still in love with her.
52:09
[SPEAKER_06]: So like if I learn it turns into a little another little make out session like I'm good with that too.
52:17
[SPEAKER_06]: I think.
52:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I think when Spike finds out that the chip is still working, but Buffy isn't human.
52:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like he is like pleased for a few different reasons.
52:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Number one, he is able to use this as like a way to poke at her.
52:34
[SPEAKER_05]: A like, you're fucked up.
52:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Like your fucked, I'm fucked.
52:38
[SPEAKER_05]: We might as well just be fucked up together.
52:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Like you're not human, you're even more fucked up than you thought you were.
52:43
[SPEAKER_05]: And he's accusing an as a way to like,
52:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I, going back to spike and harmonies, little like role playing, sexual encounters, all he wants is for him and Buffy to beat the shit out of each other and then fuck, which is exactly what happens.
53:08
[SPEAKER_05]: But like this is, this is an ongoing lust of his.
53:12
[SPEAKER_05]: This is a, this is what he wants to have happens a fantasy.
53:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's so happy he just found out that he can actually hit Buffy now and not be in physical pain himself and like later they do fight but they both kind of admit that like the neither one of them are actually injured like they're not hurting each other and they know they have the ability to
53:36
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's kind of how I read it and it's a one thing is when they're fighting spike doesn't do they on face yeah so like when and we know you can now which which would be like is yeah but like
53:51
[SPEAKER_03]: The reason I'm going to have that is it's usually implied that vampires is like full power and like as long as they're still in the human face, like right.
53:59
[SPEAKER_03]: They're not, he's not, he's not putting everything into this fight.
54:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
54:03
[SPEAKER_05]: And so he goes to Buffy and he basically is like, listen, I can hit you now, like there's something fucking wrong with you.
54:14
[SPEAKER_05]: And they get into this
54:20
[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, he just, it's so, it's so interesting.
54:25
[SPEAKER_05]: They're fighting in this like abandoned building.
54:27
[SPEAKER_05]: They're really like tossing each other around.
54:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And they're all kind of like exchanging verbal bars as well.
54:36
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, it's...
54:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Pretty mean stuff.
54:40
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, it's not like...
54:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I was trying to find it in the, in the, in the, in the script.
54:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, here we go, um, no, sorry.
54:51
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, here we go.
54:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, yeah, you did something.
54:53
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the, to the chip.
54:54
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a trick.
54:56
[SPEAKER_05]: And he says, no, like you, um, you came back a little less human than you were.
55:01
[SPEAKER_05]: She says he's wrong, uh, that how come you're so spooked and why can I punch you, um, and they keep, you know, you're wrong, you're wrong.
55:09
[SPEAKER_05]: You're wrong.
55:09
[SPEAKER_05]: She's like freaking out.
55:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah, poor lost little girl.
55:15
[SPEAKER_05]: She doesn't fit in anywhere.
55:16
[SPEAKER_05]: She's got no one to love.
55:19
[SPEAKER_05]: And both of these is me.
55:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm lost.
55:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Look at you.
55:20
[SPEAKER_05]: You idiot, poor spike.
55:22
[SPEAKER_05]: You can't be a human can't be a vampire.
55:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Where the hell do you fit in?
55:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Your job is to kill the slayer.
55:28
[SPEAKER_05]: But all you could do is follow me around making moon eyes.
55:30
[SPEAKER_05]: And Spike says, I'm in love with you.
55:33
[SPEAKER_05]: And Buffy says, you're in love with pain, admit it.
55:35
[SPEAKER_05]: You like me because you enjoy getting beat down.
55:38
[SPEAKER_05]: So really, who's screwed up?
55:39
[SPEAKER_05]: And he says, well, I'm a vampire.
55:41
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm supposed to be trading on the dark side.
55:43
[SPEAKER_05]: What's your excuse?
55:45
[SPEAKER_05]: And they're really going back and forth.
55:48
[SPEAKER_05]: And she, they were like, oh, I wasn't planning on hurting you much.
55:54
[SPEAKER_05]: And Buffy says, you haven't even come close to hurting me.
55:56
[SPEAKER_05]: And he says, oh, are you afraid to give me the chance?
55:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Again, like emotionally.
56:01
[SPEAKER_05]: And as he's in the middle of saying something, she kisses him, like full on kisses him.
56:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And they're like kind of, then they get broken up a little bit.
56:13
[SPEAKER_05]: She like throws him against a wall.
56:14
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like a whole thing, like they're demolishing this fucking building.
56:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, all right, you've been asking for this for years.
56:24
[SPEAKER_06]: This is exactly what you wanted.
56:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I get it.
56:27
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it was hot.
56:28
[SPEAKER_06]: I loved it.
56:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like honestly, like the scene to me was a work of art on all fronts.
56:34
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was phenomenal, um, between the music.
56:38
[SPEAKER_06]: I was really into the music and the crashing, the cracking of walls.
56:44
[SPEAKER_06]: The, like,
56:47
[SPEAKER_06]: like smashing of floorboards, it was honestly beautiful, spectacular.
56:53
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's like everything that I could want in a sexy.
56:59
[SPEAKER_06]: I wish, tell me lies had more of this type of sex scene.
57:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I would be very into it if it did.
57:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was great, like on all fronts, I thought that it was ha and sexy and I thought that the passion was there.
57:13
[SPEAKER_06]: I just like,
57:15
[SPEAKER_06]: My only thing is just that like, man, I don't know, maybe because I'm not like a skinny little twig, but like I just like don't understand how we can be like, you know, wrapping our legs around spike who's also a skinny little twig and then fucking.
57:37
[SPEAKER_06]: um like that way standing up.
57:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
57:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
57:41
[SPEAKER_03]: The geography doesn't make sense.
57:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Sarah.
57:46
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
57:48
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if it's like, I don't know if it's like, she's
57:54
[SPEAKER_06]: Man, she can be making the most the movements and he can be thrusting, however, I still don't think it would line up that well, I think like she needs more back support.
58:05
[SPEAKER_06]: So I was like very, but once again, like I don't have this sort of.
58:12
[SPEAKER_06]: body strength that holds myself up and she's very strong.
58:16
[SPEAKER_06]: So who am I to say that couldn't work?
58:19
[SPEAKER_06]: I've never had sex like that, but if I could, I would, like, um, when I was going to talk about the sex.
58:27
[SPEAKER_06]: The sex was great.
58:29
[SPEAKER_06]: It seems great.
58:30
[SPEAKER_06]: And then I love when they went through the floors and smashed to the ground.
58:34
[SPEAKER_06]: That was my favorite part, too.
58:36
[SPEAKER_06]: I loved it.
58:36
[SPEAKER_06]: And once again, the music, it was just honestly the perfect scene.
58:41
[SPEAKER_06]: It was everything I could have wanted and more.
58:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe I am a spuffy fan, actually.
58:46
[SPEAKER_05]: This is interesting because I feel like
58:51
[SPEAKER_05]: people would come into this episode, being like, especially Tom, you haven't heard the last podcast, but the amount that I was horning for the kiss that Spuffy had at the end of last episode at the bronze, holy cow.
59:06
[SPEAKER_05]: So people would come into this podcast, presuming I guess, that Sarah would be like, Spuffy is gross, I hate them.
59:12
[SPEAKER_05]: And I would be the one who was like, fawning over the scene is, is that I'm an actual freak and you're not.
59:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think, I think, here's the thing, because I watched the scene a few times now, and they're messed with me to it.
59:28
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I watched it because I needed to really understand my feelings on it because I really liked it.
59:34
[SPEAKER_03]: I thought about, as me and Sarah, that the geometry didn't quite make sense.
59:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Not particularly, but I mean, it's fine.
59:43
[SPEAKER_05]: I understand what you're saying, but I think I would go along the lines of, well, he's a vampire, we're super strengthened.
59:49
[SPEAKER_05]: She's a slayer, we're super strength, so they can kind of do whatever they want.
59:52
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I think for me, I think what takes me out of it is like,
59:58
[SPEAKER_05]: These two are just so obviously so mentally fucked up.
1:00:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Like the only way they are able to like have sex is when they are like mad at each other and so emotionally and mentally fucking damaged that like this is the only way it's gonna happen and they're like physically tearing down walls and on top of that
1:00:22
[SPEAKER_05]: And this is such a weird detail, but at the moment, Sarah was talking about, where Buffy has her legs around him.
1:00:30
[SPEAKER_05]: We see, and they make it so abundantly clear what's going on, because we see Buffy's arm go down and the fucking zipper around the world.
1:00:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Lisa, it's so fun.
1:00:45
[SPEAKER_06]: I also liked her moaning.
1:00:47
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought that her moaning was great as a person who's been a lotty year speaking orgasms.
1:00:52
[SPEAKER_06]: I too have the talents to be moaning.
1:00:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, she's, let me see her literally like moving up into it's like it's very like,
1:01:01
[SPEAKER_05]: It's like shocking how how what is happening how quickly it's happening and like where we're going and then again she's then she's up against the wall like holding on to the thing behind her and then as they're like orgasming they fall through the floor I literally for a second thought he was going to get staked on debris because there's a bunch of water round and like there was dust everywhere but it was just like
1:01:28
[SPEAKER_05]: It, I don't know exactly why it didn't, it didn't want 100% work for me.
1:01:35
[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that's Todd, the librarian had mentioned, like, I think maybe you're not supposed to like, absolutely love it.
1:01:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And I think he probably is right.
1:01:46
[SPEAKER_05]: It's because it feels like the only,
1:01:50
[SPEAKER_05]: They're like, daring, they're playing like uncle.
1:01:52
[SPEAKER_05]: They're playing chicken with like, will you actually hurt me?
1:01:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Because I need to feel alive.
1:01:57
[SPEAKER_05]: And this is the only way I can feel alive.
1:01:59
[SPEAKER_05]: And it doesn't feel like the, I hate you so much.
1:02:03
[SPEAKER_05]: I want to fuck your brains out, sort of a thing.
1:02:05
[SPEAKER_05]: It feels more like we actually do have feelings, but our only way of expressing feelings at the moment is to physically take down a house.
1:02:16
[SPEAKER_05]: And it's just a lot.
1:02:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so here's so you said you thought it would make sense based on last episode.
1:02:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Here's my diagnosis.
1:02:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I think Jess is more into spuffy as like an actual relationship.
1:02:30
[SPEAKER_03]: We're serious more like I like the sex.
1:02:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I think just once the actual romance of the love and the kiss last episode, like, okay, Tom, if you're picking, you're like, if you're choosing what was hotter was the kiss from a little end of last episode of The Bronze or was this scene hotter?
1:02:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Jess, I first saw this episode when I was a 12-year-old boy.
1:03:02
[SPEAKER_05]: So interesting, Sarah, we need to, I was thinking about this the other day, we need to do a podcast, I don't want off somewhere down the line of like best TV kisses and I'm talking like like either first kisses or like unexpected kisses because I brought up like the Ross and Rachel one and the and I told you about the Nick and Jess one from New Girl, which I still think is like maybe number one.
1:03:28
[SPEAKER_05]: It's so good.
1:03:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Um, well, we could have to present because there's some things that I just like haven't seen.
1:03:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, yeah, it's just it's an it's an interesting topic because I think I agree with you.
1:03:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Tom, it's like, I really enjoy the banter they have and this just feels like toxic and an unfunway.
1:03:59
[SPEAKER_06]: of how much we fought in like the last few months about this, yeah, because the most fun that I've had with these two, and I think like Tom, you've known us for like five years, like six years, you know us, and I think like it just is like, I think you're right, like I think like just is like into once them to actually be a relationship, and I'm like
1:04:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Who's more of a freak?
1:04:31
[SPEAKER_06]: And I guess we know, okay.
1:04:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I just think that it just feels like they're so damaged and broken.
1:04:40
[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like, this is also insane.
1:04:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Cause I have been saying this for the last few months.
1:04:47
[SPEAKER_06]: I, I honestly, like, I am like losing my mind here.
1:04:52
[SPEAKER_06]: This has been my complaint against Spuffy the whole time.
1:04:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Because like the kiss from the last episode was in my opinion like Buffy wants to feel something, but it felt healthier, it felt like an acceptance of like
1:05:10
[SPEAKER_05]: This is actually what I want, but now this episode, well, that's the way I've read it in the moment, because I thought we would then come into this episode with her being more accepting of like, I actually did that, but we didn't.
1:05:24
[SPEAKER_05]: We came into this episode of her being like back to the denial phase of like those didn't count, you know, Sarah and I having this discussion of what kiss count of what was their first kiss, which one counted, whatever, and it's like they're having that argument.
1:05:36
[SPEAKER_05]: And I felt like, oh, never mind, okay, I was under a false assumption from the end of last episode as to like where Buffy was at mentally with Spike.
1:05:45
[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously, we also haven't talked about this, but like, Buffy does try to talk to Willow about this whole thing.
1:05:53
[SPEAKER_05]: And fortunately, Rahini comes in and interrupts the whole thing.
1:05:55
[SPEAKER_05]: She doesn't get to talk to her.
1:05:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, which I think is an interesting person to go to because Willow is also the one who was in the know when she said she told Willow that spike was in love with her.
1:06:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Like Willow was Willow and Joyce were like they were doing like a little girly roundtable about it.
1:06:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, that's her girl.
1:06:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
1:06:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:06:21
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
1:06:22
[SPEAKER_05]: I just,
1:06:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I if you're not buffy was in it.
1:06:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Why just thought buffy was in a different headspace about it after last episode, then I realized she was when we started this episode and I'm more so concerned.
1:06:39
[SPEAKER_05]: because it feels like a spiral.
1:06:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like I can, it's weird.
1:06:46
[SPEAKER_05]: I have the two thoughts, the two mental head spaces of, I think her and Spike are like right for each other and that they can understand each other.
1:06:55
[SPEAKER_05]: They have, they're so broken and they really do connect on this interesting level that I think she cannot connect with other people on right now.
1:07:05
[SPEAKER_05]: But I think it's the way that it's happening.
1:07:08
[SPEAKER_05]: That feels like really bad.
1:07:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Like it doesn't feel right.
1:07:13
[SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, I have to...
1:07:17
[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of think that Spike has sort of like a dog.
1:07:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Where he's like, what kind of a dog though?
1:07:24
[SPEAKER_03]: He's trained to like, his behavior is going to be what gets in the tree.
1:07:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yeah.
1:07:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Last time I was on with the episode, we're, um, glory, like, kidnapped him and tortured him and he, like, stood up and protected Don.
1:07:40
[SPEAKER_03]: And then after that, after he had protected Don, uh, even though that episode had the buffed, but Don was like, or, uh, Buffy was like, you protecting Don meant something.
1:07:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And she gave him a kiss.
1:07:51
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think from that point on he was like, okay, this is, this is what gets me in Buffy's good braces, protecting Don, being noble, trying to help help out the Scoobies.
1:08:03
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what he did from that point on.
1:08:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Even when she was that because he loved her news like that's that's the behavior that got rewarded But then she comes back and she's depressed and they start having these interactions and she starts kissing him when she's feeling depressed and alone and separated from the Scoobies and I think what he's subconsciously learning is that what gets in the treat now is
1:08:31
[SPEAKER_03]: to keep her depressed and isolated from the Scoobyze.
1:08:34
[SPEAKER_03]: I think he's learning this.
1:08:35
[SPEAKER_03]: He's re-learning the toxic behavior.
1:08:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And again, my respect does not have a soul.
1:08:41
[SPEAKER_03]: He is evil.
1:08:43
[SPEAKER_03]: I know there are a lot of people that chip spike in Buffy.
1:08:49
[SPEAKER_03]: But you do have to kind of keep that in mind.
1:08:51
[SPEAKER_03]: He is evil.
1:08:52
[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, when he first thought the chip wasn't working, his instinct was to go eat someone.
1:08:58
[SPEAKER_05]: He did, yeah, I was gonna bring that up.
1:09:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Like there's two points that like fight each other in my head.
1:09:04
[SPEAKER_05]: One is like, yeah, he was about to go eat that lady.
1:09:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Like he was like gonna go try to eat that lady, which is not a good thing to do.
1:09:11
[SPEAKER_05]: But also, when he thought Buffy was dead,
1:09:15
[SPEAKER_05]: forever.
1:09:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, actually gone, not coming back for months.
1:09:20
[SPEAKER_05]: He still stayed with Scooby.
1:09:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, he still helped them.
1:09:24
[SPEAKER_05]: He took care of Dawn.
1:09:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, that I can't, I can't just forget.
1:09:29
[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
1:09:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, that to me says a lot that he stayed for months after he thought she was dead and gone and never coming back.
1:09:38
[SPEAKER_06]: like he did do that they were having plans.
1:09:41
[SPEAKER_05]: He had no clue.
1:09:42
[SPEAKER_05]: He had no clue that that was their plan.
1:09:44
[SPEAKER_05]: So like that to me just reads as a totally different intention because I agree with you Tom, like I do see what you're saying in terms of
1:09:54
[SPEAKER_05]: What he knows that if he can get buffy alone and in a vulnerable place, maybe she'll make out with him.
1:10:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I guess if I'm if I'm trying to give him more credit than that or like again, he doesn't have a soul, he's evil whatever whatever.
1:10:07
[SPEAKER_05]: If I'm trying to read more into that.
1:10:11
[SPEAKER_05]: He's a very like soft guy, like he maybe in his mind the more she kisses me, the more likely it is that she'll realize she actually does like me, that she does love me, like I just need her to have that light go off in her head, that she does feel this way.
1:10:28
[SPEAKER_05]: And he's trying to get her there.
1:10:30
[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, it's not always great, but he would feel that if he had a soul,
1:10:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, me, I think you're describing things that people with souls feel, and, but then will was him sticking around, like, after after Buffy's dead, like, what is that then?
1:10:49
[SPEAKER_03]: I think I do think he does love her.
1:10:52
[SPEAKER_03]: And again,
1:10:53
[SPEAKER_03]: He loves Buffy, and he knows that what Buffy would want is for him to help protect Don and the Scoobies.
1:11:01
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's like, he's evil, but he loves Buffy, and there's contradictions there, and he acts, he's very different than other vampires, and then his love of Buffy will trump his desire to do evil, especially because he has a chip, which means he can't actually go out and do evil.
1:11:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, this is the other thing too is like, and we'll talk about it with Cordy's corner that we'll get into in a second like it's interesting and obviously angels not the same show but the cannon is the same that like there are ways to get around the like this vampire doesn't have a soul like with Darla we'll talk about it like there are ways that the show is like this will override the end of it the no soul thing.
1:11:47
[SPEAKER_05]: They can find ways to do that so it wouldn't surprise me if they were able to do something like that with spike at some point or explain away some of it, but yeah, it's just very interesting and I am so conflicted about my feelings about spuffy, but I've seen those videos of the dogs that lose their owners and then they
1:12:11
[SPEAKER_06]: state the graveyard.
1:12:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, yes, I have.
1:12:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Why are you doing this to me?
1:12:18
[SPEAKER_06]: What reminds me why Spike was staying?
1:12:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my God, my boy.
1:12:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Jesus.
1:12:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, let's talk about court e-scorner.
1:12:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Lullaby.
1:12:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Because Darlah is no more.
1:12:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Darlah has given birth question mark in the weirdest sea section known to me.
1:12:41
[SPEAKER_06]: This episode was not, I didn't have to laugh at that scene.
1:12:46
[SPEAKER_06]: I know you were supposed to be laughing.
1:12:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, we're all worried that you Sarah would be traumatized and she's laughing at the scene.
1:12:56
[SPEAKER_06]: And Darla just offs herself to save her babies.
1:13:00
[SPEAKER_06]: This is fabulous.
1:13:01
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, this is great names.
1:13:03
[SPEAKER_06]: She's sweating in wet.
1:13:05
[SPEAKER_06]: And she's on the ground, and everyone's trying to come and steal her baby as this bitch takes a steak.
1:13:15
[SPEAKER_06]: So big and kills herself, stays herself, and then naked babies just there.
1:13:21
[SPEAKER_06]: It was the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life, this stupid show, man.
1:13:27
[SPEAKER_06]: I was not expecting that.
1:13:28
[SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was like, okay, I had like vibes, right?
1:13:30
[SPEAKER_06]: Like I went into this episode and I like message Tom, and I was like, hey,
1:13:36
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, is the baby going to die this episode?
1:13:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't really want to see like a baby dying child birth right now.
1:13:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I don't need this.
1:13:45
[SPEAKER_06]: And he was like, you and Todd were like, no, the baby is okay.
1:13:51
[SPEAKER_06]: And then I was like, okay, so it's Darla.
1:13:53
[SPEAKER_06]: So I was like, is Darla going to die this episode?
1:13:56
[SPEAKER_06]: And you all were like, yes.
1:13:58
[SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, okay.
1:13:59
[SPEAKER_06]: And the reason why I was spoiled once again,
1:14:03
[SPEAKER_06]: In the next month and a half, I will be having a child.
1:14:07
[SPEAKER_06]: I went to literally one of those birth and baby classes today.
1:14:13
[SPEAKER_06]: But I was like, I can't, I, like, if she dies during childbirth or something dramatic or whatever, or like the baby dies, I don't know if I'd want to do this.
1:14:22
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm watching the episode and I'm like, okay, like she's looking really, really bad.
1:14:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Like she's looking all sweaty and gross.
1:14:28
[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, I was thinking that was going to be kind of like,
1:14:31
[SPEAKER_06]: When Bella was dying in twilight during childbirth, and then like that's why she turned into a vampire who was like, half dead, a little block.
1:14:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the baby was clawing itself out of her.
1:14:42
[SPEAKER_06]: This woman decides that she's gonna stay herself and that's how she died.
1:14:49
[SPEAKER_06]: I, I loved, I was like a full body laugh.
1:14:56
[SPEAKER_06]: It was so dumb, this show so stupid.
1:14:59
[SPEAKER_05]: So Tom, I want to make sure I understand the lore of the episode because there's like so much happening where we have like prophecy shit, but from what I understand, Darla is like I was saying with the whole soul thing because she is pregnant with
1:15:20
[SPEAKER_05]: seemingly a human child she is being nourished by him therefore giving her like loving feelings because he has a soul she has like a temporary soul and so she is like loves him she's worried
1:15:38
[SPEAKER_05]: after she gives birth, she's going to try to eat him because she won't have a soul anymore.
1:15:43
[SPEAKER_05]: And so on top of that, she goes into labor, but then they're like maybe it's prexed and Higgs, but then it seems like she's out of labor and the whole thing is it seems like, well, she's a vampire, she's not designed to give birth to a baby.
1:15:56
[SPEAKER_05]: So the baby is dying.
1:15:58
[SPEAKER_05]: It seems like like the baby's heartbeat was slowing down, not great.
1:16:03
[SPEAKER_05]: So, basically, Darla decides to take her own life in order to save the baby's life, all of that is correct, Tom?
1:16:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
1:16:12
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't fucking understand this prophecy bullshit.
1:16:15
[SPEAKER_05]: What the fuck is going on with the prophecy?
1:16:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, everyone is confused about what the prophecy is, blah, prophecy.
1:16:21
[SPEAKER_05]: And like, they're like, maybe the baby's going to ruin the fucking world.
1:16:25
[SPEAKER_05]: So, that's why Darla's going to...
1:16:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Killed the baby during childbirth because the baby is the prophecy that's going to run the world.
1:16:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Is that right?
1:16:32
[SPEAKER_05]: What is happening?
1:16:33
[SPEAKER_03]: The prophecies a lot of confusing stuff and the basically the prophecies like shit's going down.
1:16:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, okay, but it is as big as I thought it was.
1:16:44
[SPEAKER_03]: And part of the shit going down is that Holtz's this guy from 300 years ago is, right?
1:16:50
[SPEAKER_03]: It's been magically transported to, to now.
1:16:54
[SPEAKER_05]: He was, he was in the cryogenic thing like the guy from Star Wars, basically.
1:17:00
[SPEAKER_05]: And then he's back and he's pissed at Angel and Darlab because Angel and Darlab once upon a time destroyed his family turned his daughter into a vampire.
1:17:09
[SPEAKER_05]: A la that movie we watched that one time with Tom Cruise.
1:17:14
[SPEAKER_05]: And
1:17:15
[SPEAKER_05]: the he left the interview with vampire interviewed the vampire left the child baby the child vampire behind and then forced the the whole sky to dad to throw his heart out into the sun.
1:17:31
[SPEAKER_06]: I wish you, I don't know how to get the shows a comedy.
1:17:36
[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's what we've been missing for the whole time.
1:17:39
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so sorry.
1:17:40
[SPEAKER_03]: I was just eating it into this.
1:17:42
[SPEAKER_03]: I was like tearing up watching this episode.
1:17:45
[SPEAKER_03]: And just so horror.
1:17:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Just like, I can't believe it.
1:17:50
[SPEAKER_05]: No, you don't want to lose.
1:17:52
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was that after he threw her into the outside into the sun, she did Vampace.
1:17:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, last time, I went like,
1:18:02
[SPEAKER_03]: So sad, this guy is young, daughter is dead.
1:18:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm traumatizing this man for hundreds of years.
1:18:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so he's hunting angel.
1:18:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Meanwhile, angel is trying to help Darla give birth in the rain in the car.
1:18:19
[SPEAKER_05]: She's fucking getting her nasty juices all over the back seat.
1:18:24
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, Rose, shut up.
1:18:27
[SPEAKER_05]: And then,
1:18:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, you're full of childbirth.
1:18:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're full of childbirth on and on.
1:18:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Something happens with the fucking lady from Wolferman heart that like literally no one cares about.
1:18:37
[SPEAKER_05]: They think she's Darla for like a hot minute.
1:18:40
[SPEAKER_05]: whatever.
1:18:41
[SPEAKER_05]: No one cares about her.
1:18:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I love important character, you know, sucks is the thing.
1:18:48
[SPEAKER_05]: I was only into her for that one brief moment when I thought that Angel and her were going to fuck.
1:18:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, they didn't.
1:18:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, uh, Darla kills herself with the steak and then the baby.
1:19:00
[SPEAKER_05]: She does.
1:19:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And then there's a fucking baby.
1:19:03
[SPEAKER_06]: Just on the ground.
1:19:05
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm an old and
1:19:08
[SPEAKER_06]: not even a real baby.
1:19:10
[SPEAKER_06]: Wait, that wasn't a, wait, that was a baby.
1:19:13
[SPEAKER_06]: It looked like a doll.
1:19:15
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a boy because they gave us clothes up.
1:19:20
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you're disgusting.
1:19:21
[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't even look.
1:19:23
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they already knew it was important.
1:19:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they alter some.
1:19:27
[SPEAKER_05]: They so angel picks up the baby.
1:19:30
[SPEAKER_05]: In the same time, we got like vampires coming down on him because they want the baby and the hopes is going to shoot them with a crossbow until you see them with the baby and that everyone's like, well, it's the baby.
1:19:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So I guess we got to let them live.
1:19:45
[SPEAKER_05]: her life.
1:19:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:19:47
[SPEAKER_03]: There was more to it, but it's sure that would happen.
1:19:50
[SPEAKER_03]: That's mostly what happened.
1:19:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Their demon was like, you need to kill him.
1:19:55
[SPEAKER_03]: And the hole was like, don't worry.
1:19:56
[SPEAKER_03]: I've got, I've got my plan.
1:19:59
[SPEAKER_03]: There'll be more.
1:20:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Also he's not done.
1:20:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
1:20:02
[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't mercy.
1:20:04
[SPEAKER_05]: I missed that part.
1:20:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
1:20:05
[SPEAKER_06]: It was just like, I'm going to let you go now, but I'm going to get it.
1:20:09
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
1:20:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Do you too want to predict what the
1:20:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yes, yes, yes, because before Sarah had said it was Rene's right now.
1:20:19
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm willing to have it spoiled right now.
1:20:21
[SPEAKER_03]: The baby's name is not Rene's name.
1:20:23
[SPEAKER_06]: It's Rene's name.
1:20:25
[SPEAKER_06]: It's Rene's Mo.
1:20:28
[SPEAKER_03]: No.
1:20:29
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm willing to spoil right now.
1:20:30
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not Rene's Mo.
1:20:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
1:20:32
[SPEAKER_05]: What if it's named after Darla?
1:20:34
[SPEAKER_05]: But like, how do you make Darla Darla?
1:20:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, the Doyle?
1:20:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, what if it's Doyle?
1:20:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Isn't Doyle the guy that was in the show?
1:20:42
[SPEAKER_06]: So I was going to go with a D name because I was like, is it going to be like a Damian like what's the opposite or like an angel type of name, you know, like is it going to be Jesus, hey, Jesus, so I was going to be that or like some other thing like
1:21:07
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's going to be something like Greek sounding, you know, like a Greek god or like, oh, can I Irish?
1:21:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're not, you're not, you're not letting go of angel being great.
1:21:20
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to have to have your day, David Morgana's bad Irish accent.
1:21:26
[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to keep going back.
1:21:28
[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's just Greek.
1:21:30
[SPEAKER_06]: It's, David Morgana's actually Greek in real life.
1:21:36
[SPEAKER_05]: No, look, just have David.
1:21:38
[SPEAKER_05]: It's definitely not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek, he's not Greek,
1:22:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I actually do know where this is coming from.
1:22:03
[SPEAKER_06]: So the only person in my life that I knew prior to watching the show Angel That watched Angel me snow sensor.
1:22:14
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god.
1:22:14
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay in high school I was friends with this girl That like kind of bullied me sometimes, but it was okay.
1:22:20
[SPEAKER_06]: It wasn't but anyway Anyway, she watched Angel
1:22:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I know for a fact that she was she Greek, she and her family are Greek.
1:22:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
1:22:34
[SPEAKER_06]: So obviously, I think that's why I'm always like, they're Greek.
1:22:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:22:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
1:22:42
[SPEAKER_05]: So do you want to lock in a guest for what the baby's name is?
1:22:45
[SPEAKER_06]: And I really just wanted to tell some crazy stories about what she did, but I guess I probably shouldn't.
1:22:51
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I think it's okay.
1:22:54
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I don't, I made so many guesses.
1:22:57
[SPEAKER_06]: I said like Orion, Orion is a name.
1:23:02
[SPEAKER_03]: So you're going to Orion?
1:23:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Sarah has Orion.
1:23:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Orion.
1:23:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Orion.
1:23:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Orion.
1:23:08
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to start with Doyle.
1:23:11
[SPEAKER_05]: But I'd also like to just shout out the name Shamus as being extremely Irish.
1:23:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Sarah, do you want a second name?
1:23:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you could pick a second one.
1:23:20
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it has to go with angels.
1:23:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Babynames.com.
1:23:29
[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I don't know.
1:23:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I feel like what's like a name kind of like angel, but not.
1:23:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe it's just like, like, oh, let's see.
1:23:42
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
1:23:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Steve.
1:23:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Steve.
1:23:46
[SPEAKER_06]: Perfect.
1:23:47
[SPEAKER_06]: Steve.
1:23:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a third name, both of you get a third name.
1:23:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, okay, okay, let me think.
1:23:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, so we, I have an Irish option and I have like a prior character named after situation, um, I still, because they're like, if they're naming it after Darla, then it would be like Daniel.
1:24:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I got it.
1:24:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Gabriel.
1:24:15
[SPEAKER_05]: OK, I'm going to go Daniel and she's going to go Gabriel.
1:24:19
[SPEAKER_05]: All right, and we'll see next episode what the fuck this just has Daniel, Shamus, and Doyle.
1:24:28
[SPEAKER_04]: Sarah has Gabriel, Steve, and Orion.
1:24:39
[SPEAKER_05]: sense correct.
1:24:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, well, we've gone places this podcast.
1:24:44
[SPEAKER_05]: We really have incredible stuff.
1:24:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you want to know what next episode is fun?
1:24:52
[SPEAKER_03]: We never talked about the freaking chandelier.
1:24:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah, there's a chandelier in an abandoned building and it's fucking insane.
1:25:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Why is it chandelier there?
1:25:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's true in the house or the sexy swing.
1:25:05
[SPEAKER_05]: That's what it was crazy.
1:25:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, currently what actually happened is like the stunt coordinators were like, we really want Spike to swing here.
1:25:14
[SPEAKER_03]: So let's put it like Shane the Lear and the set, the set, the department was like, that makes no sense.
1:25:19
[SPEAKER_03]: This, this looks like a cracked and why would there be a shade of Lear in this house?
1:25:23
[SPEAKER_03]: And then they were just like, but we really want to do a swing and they're like, well, kicky, kicky, kicky.
1:25:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Sarah, did you like when Buffy punched the wall behind Spike just so that she could put her arm around his neck?
1:25:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:25:36
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
1:25:36
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I like everything a bit of it.
1:25:38
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
1:25:39
[SPEAKER_06]: You're including the music, especially.
1:25:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
1:25:43
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
1:25:44
[SPEAKER_05]: That zipper is gonna ring loudly in my head.
1:25:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I never did.
1:25:47
[SPEAKER_05]: The slap from Dawson's Greek that was heard around the world.
1:25:50
[SPEAKER_03]: This is my explanation for the zipper is I think people like Sarah had spent so long being like, it's not confirmed, quite as we not until the next episode or we see like, underwriting the dick was enough.
1:26:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, there was so much writing that I have a more Christian.
1:26:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, we're going like, we are going raw here.
1:26:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, what do you mean there was no time for leaver condoms in that scene?
1:26:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if he's not aware of it, vampires can get the vampires can get the permits now.
1:26:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he's a little dirty.
1:26:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Are they fucking serious?
1:26:26
[SPEAKER_05]: They're in a crack then.
1:26:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think she gives a single fuck if he's there.
1:26:30
[SPEAKER_06]: You don't think that she's worried to get the syphilis.
1:26:34
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that kind of dirty runs in her vampire.
1:26:37
[SPEAKER_05]: His vampire fan.
1:26:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think I don't think she cares right now.
1:26:41
[SPEAKER_05]: I think she wants that cold heart D. I don't think vampires.
1:26:45
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think vampires can spread.
1:26:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
1:26:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
1:26:48
[SPEAKER_05]: He probably doesn't have an aerial to do that.
1:26:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, they couldn't get pregnant.
1:26:52
[SPEAKER_03]: So and really darn Barlus changing everything.
1:26:56
[SPEAKER_06]: That was two vampires.
1:26:57
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
1:26:57
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't let people violate me.
1:26:59
[SPEAKER_06]: Like that unless I consent.
1:27:01
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, well, she consented a lot.
1:27:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, uh season six episode 10 of
1:27:14
[SPEAKER_05]: It's the house, though, where we're sticking with this.
1:27:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, smashed, then wrecked.
1:27:18
[SPEAKER_06]: Wow, wow.
1:27:20
[SPEAKER_06]: And like it's also like, it's like the shenanigans that Willow and Raimi are going to, it's going to be so bad.
1:27:27
[SPEAKER_06]: And then, okay, and then like the angel episode is like literally going to be whatever the baby's name is.
1:27:33
[SPEAKER_06]: And the baby's name is, dad, dad, there it goes, it's a good name.
1:27:40
[SPEAKER_06]: It's a really good name.
1:27:43
[SPEAKER_05]: So that will be next week.
1:27:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Wow, what the fuck?
1:27:47
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I got to not read ahead of other titles because I don't know what that meant at all.
1:27:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, that's the podcast.
1:27:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks for having me.
1:27:59
[SPEAKER_05]: That's how we end up getting stuck.
1:28:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Listen, we've recorded a lot of podcasts this past week.
1:28:03
[SPEAKER_03]: As if they're like a deer in the flesh and...
1:28:05
[SPEAKER_05]: It's kind of happen.
1:28:07
[SPEAKER_05]: It's just my brain mushed a little bit first.
1:28:09
[SPEAKER_05]: There's mesh because it was happening up to the podcast.
1:28:11
[SPEAKER_05]: People said I was coming on for coming on to the podcast.
1:28:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you so much Tom for being here for joining us.
1:28:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I can't wait for the next time you join us, which will obviously be the conclusion of the rat Amy saga.
1:28:26
[SPEAKER_05]: I presume unless she dies next episode, which I suppose is possible.
1:28:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Anything you want to tell people about Tom.
1:28:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, no, uh, let's see, not really.
1:28:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And just, okay, just hang out.
1:28:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, all right.
1:28:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Cool.
1:28:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Me too.
1:28:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, that's it.
1:28:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's everything.
1:28:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So until next time, everyone here, and if the lesson.
