Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The defending champs are shooting the rats at brad Marshen.
- 0:05Speaker 1: They're smiling because they are one win away from going
- 0:10Speaker 1: back to the final. Just absorbing the punishment there. Brad Marshan,
- 0:15Speaker 1: the captain not done cool. I don't know whether that's
- 0:20Speaker 1: Anson or the actual sound of Yeah. I think it's
- 0:25Speaker 1: his voice that they recording from NHL TNT postgames are
- 0:30Speaker 1: more sented by the pharmaceuticals.
- 0:35Speaker 2: That's what the Hurricanes.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, well, especially when you look at this was a
- 0:41Speaker 1: close game them as a five goal barrage and now
- 0:44Speaker 1: you have three games five to two, five, six to two,
- 0:47Speaker 1: outscored sixteen to four over their last fifteen in the
- 0:51Speaker 1: conference final. The champs imposed their will. It just took
- 0:54Speaker 1: a little bit longer to night Leam mch Paul Bazinette,
- 0:57Speaker 1: Anson Carter, Hall of Famer, Chris Cellios. There is so
- 1:00Speaker 1: many different moments we can hit here, and we're going
- 1:02Speaker 1: to talk to Alexander Barglov it a little bit. But
- 1:05Speaker 1: you go back in this series right now and it's
- 1:06Speaker 1: not over. You know, it's trending in that direction, and
- 1:09Speaker 1: you have a moment where it all changed.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Two significant moments when s fetch bump Bbrovsky. I thought
- 1:16Speaker 2: that that was significant. They didn't react right away because
- 1:18Speaker 2: you can tell they put it in the back of
- 1:19Speaker 2: their mind. And then that right there when Dosa Speer
- 1:23Speaker 2: at the end of Game one shot the puck at
- 1:25Speaker 2: Brad Marshaw. Yes, Brad Marshaw took got to run them
- 1:27Speaker 2: right before this, but right here, you've got to take
- 1:30Speaker 2: your gloves off and fight them at this point, and
- 1:33Speaker 2: you've got to stick up for yourself. And if you're
- 1:35Speaker 2: trying to come in like the big, big bag Carolina Hurricanes,
- 1:38Speaker 2: like bumping Bob and really playing, trying to play that
- 1:41Speaker 2: Florida style of play, you have to live up to
- 1:43Speaker 2: that reputation. And I don't think that they did it,
- 1:46Speaker 2: and I think that right from those two moments they
- 1:49Speaker 2: put that right in the back of their head. They say,
- 1:50Speaker 2: we're going to handle business. We're going to try to
- 1:52Speaker 2: run up the score every game, and when we run
- 1:54Speaker 2: up the score, that's when we can get even with
- 1:56Speaker 2: these guys. And you've seen it a couple of times,
- 1:58Speaker 2: specifically tonight with Bennett going after Stetchnikov and then uh
- 2:03Speaker 2: and then obviously.
- 2:06Speaker 1: We're going to talk all about that, but Right now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: we're going to talk to a man who put the
- 2:09Speaker 1: big numbers to night, the captain, Alexander Barkov. Three points
- 2:13Speaker 1: of this game, a couple of goals. Thanks so much
- 2:15Speaker 1: for coming on joining us. You know, Biz was just
- 2:17Speaker 1: talking about it. You guys, you have memories. If things
- 2:21Speaker 1: happen to your teammates, you stand up for them. But
- 2:24Speaker 1: it seems like you don't lose your head. You wait
- 2:26Speaker 1: until games when it's appropriate to respond. Is that something
- 2:31Speaker 1: that is discussed in the room.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Well, you guys know very well. We have those guys
- 2:36Speaker 3: in their room that know know when to do it
- 2:38Speaker 3: and how to do it. So obviously I think they
- 2:42Speaker 3: did a good job with that. Like, but it's it's
- 2:46Speaker 3: playoff hockey. We don't we don't forget, and next next
- 2:50Speaker 3: game starts from zero, so we just keep going.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Bark it say it's a great game. I want you
- 2:55Speaker 4: to talk a little about the Florida Panthers depth lost.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Ryan hart Nikola goes out, but you guys don't seem
- 3:01Speaker 4: to miss a beat.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's the beauty of it. Like this year
- 3:05Speaker 3: it's been incredible, Like our depth and every single line
- 3:09Speaker 3: can produce, every single line place plays the right way
- 3:12Speaker 3: and it's fun to watch how they play. So it's
- 3:14Speaker 3: been a lot of fun so far. And uh, obviously
- 3:18Speaker 3: every every single game from now on it's gonna be
- 3:21Speaker 3: harder and harder, so we just concentrate on one game
- 3:24Speaker 3: at a time. But yeah, like you said, it's it's
- 3:27Speaker 3: incredible to have this kind of.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Depth, Parky, it's biz here. I mean, just talking about
- 3:33Speaker 2: the defense you guys have. I believe seven defense would
- 3:35Speaker 2: have scored a goal so far in these playoffs. Like,
- 3:38Speaker 2: what can you say about them and how much they've
- 3:40Speaker 2: been able to contribute offensively and help you guys out,
- 3:43Speaker 2: especially at the fact that you keep backing them up
- 3:45Speaker 2: in providing that secondary back end.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah, like you, Like you said, it's it's great to
- 3:52Speaker 3: have those guys like you. You can give them the
- 3:54Speaker 3: park and obviously they're gonna make place from there. They're
- 3:56Speaker 3: gonna shoot the park, they're gonna get it to the
- 3:58Speaker 3: net and forwards, just one one job to do to
- 4:01Speaker 3: get to the net.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So h.
- 4:04Speaker 3: And also, also, like you said, every every single defenseman
- 4:08Speaker 3: a half scored pretty much in this playoff, so that
- 4:11Speaker 3: that means a lot.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I have to ask you, given what we saw with
- 4:14Speaker 1: Ryan Hart going out and Mikola leaving this game injured
- 4:18Speaker 1: as well. Uh, do you have to shoot the rats
- 4:20Speaker 1: a little softer at Brad Marsh and just to make
- 4:23Speaker 1: sure everyone's okay for the next one.
- 4:26Speaker 3: That's a good question. I did keep it on the
- 4:29Speaker 3: on the eyes of this time. I wasn't shooting in
- 4:31Speaker 3: his shin pats or anything so he doesn't get hurt.
- 4:33Speaker 4: That's smart.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's a captain, it's a leader keeping it together. Alice
- 4:37Speaker 1: bark Up, thanks so much. Congrats on the win.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Great stuff.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Bark thank you very much, thank you.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Good luck Barty.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Uh, I like listen, he didn't shy away from the question.
- 4:45Speaker 1: We have guys that know how to take care of
- 4:46Speaker 1: their business, but know how to do it in the
- 4:47Speaker 1: right time. And we're gonna go right back into that
- 4:49Speaker 1: conversation because it felt like things started to turn with
- 4:52Speaker 1: those plays we saw carry over amazingly games later. From
- 4:57Speaker 1: that vetch to call on Lebrowski. We also, this is it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: We'd go back game one of the Eastern Conference Final,
- 5:03Speaker 1: but it's times running around just trying to get spetching
- 5:06Speaker 1: Gull's face every moment after that.
- 5:08Speaker 4: No, they're taking a number, and they want to wait
- 5:11Speaker 4: and do it the right way and make sure that
- 5:14Speaker 4: the game was out of hand and they weren't going
- 5:16Speaker 4: to hurt their team. You Sam Bennett going to get him,
- 5:18Speaker 4: were suf was gonna get him. Was a long list
- 5:19Speaker 4: of players for Florida Panthers that we're gonna look and
- 5:22Speaker 4: try to get retribution from rank their goaltender. This is
- 5:24Speaker 4: a scary man right here. We always talk about it.
- 5:27Speaker 4: It never looks like his heart rate even goes above
- 5:30Speaker 4: one hundred and eighty beats a minute, but he just
- 5:32Speaker 4: lives for those moments. And then you see Sebastianaho taking
- 5:35Speaker 4: out Ryan Harpizz and in this game, they're waiting for
- 5:38Speaker 4: that opportunity and Matthew Kulchuck chase them down the whole
- 5:42Speaker 4: lser off the face up, trying to get paid out.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I'm just shocked if they didn't have anybody else from
- 5:46Speaker 2: the Carolina Hurricanes who would jump in to try to
- 5:49Speaker 2: defend all over here like this is like a lack
- 5:52Speaker 2: of team mentality and a lack of team toughness, and
- 5:55Speaker 2: you need this in the Stanley Cup playoffs. And look
- 5:57Speaker 2: at Kachuck's reaction here he goes we remember, we know
- 6:00Speaker 2: we got we got it mentally marked. And Kelly, I
- 6:02Speaker 2: mean you could speak more to it because you played,
- 6:05Speaker 2: you know, in a throw back time where we saw
- 6:07Speaker 2: a lot more of this, and I'm sure you were
- 6:09Speaker 2: part of Cup teams who had that type of toughness.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess the only thing I'd say is, when
- 6:13Speaker 5: you know kuld Check went after Alaho and then Bennett,
- 6:16Speaker 5: it shouldn't be one on one at that point. They're
- 6:18Speaker 5: outmatched in toughness. So just everybody got a pile in
- 6:21Speaker 5: or grab you from behind, choke and do I hope
- 6:24Speaker 5: you can maybe do something, break someone's finger or you
- 6:27Speaker 5: know who know. No, but seriously, he's not gonna hurt
- 6:30Speaker 5: you know, Alho is not going to hurt Kachuck in
- 6:31Speaker 5: that in that situation. Their whole team should have been
- 6:34Speaker 5: in there at a big pile that one on one
- 6:36Speaker 5: against each other.
- 6:37Speaker 4: And we've watched David Pastunok in the past, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 4: take on that challenge and say, you know, Matthew Kachuck
- 6:42Speaker 4: you want to fight, We're gonna fight. Goes back to
- 6:44Speaker 4: the coaching staff and ask for that. But we were
- 6:46Speaker 4: talking about the maturity level of this team earlier in
- 6:48Speaker 4: the broadcast, and they've waited to pick their spots. A
- 6:52Speaker 4: few years ago in the Battle of Florida playing against
- 6:54Speaker 4: Tampa Bay and Sam Bennett went out and ran Kutrov.
- 6:57Speaker 4: I believe it was the series is over. He's learned
- 7:00Speaker 4: from those moments, so now he's not gonna take a
- 7:02Speaker 4: dumb penalty. He's going to take a number, wait for
- 7:04Speaker 4: the right opportunity, wait for a game to get out
- 7:06Speaker 4: of hand, and then try to get payback as quick
- 7:08Speaker 4: as these get.
- 7:09Speaker 2: We talked to Aj Greer after Game one, and you know,
- 7:12Speaker 2: the fourth line had an incredible game, so we had
- 7:13Speaker 2: the opportunity to speak with him and we asked him
- 7:15Speaker 2: that question about Goh shooting it at Marshaw, and you
- 7:19Speaker 2: could see the wires crossing in his brain and then
- 7:21Speaker 2: he refrained from answering spontaneously the way that he wanted to,
- 7:25Speaker 2: but you could tell it's like, Oh, these guys are
- 7:26Speaker 2: taking this back to the locker room and they're going
- 7:28Speaker 2: to inflict some pain on these guys when they have
- 7:30Speaker 2: the opportunity. And that's for me when I'm like, okay,
- 7:33Speaker 2: maybe I saw this going five or six to begin with,
- 7:36Speaker 2: but they lit a fire underneath Florida's you know what,
- 7:39Speaker 2: and they were looking to embarrass them every single game
- 7:42Speaker 2: after that, as we've seen, and give themselves an opportunity
- 7:46Speaker 2: to get that retribution. So this is man amongst boys
- 7:49Speaker 2: in so many ways as far as stylistical play, but
- 7:53Speaker 2: also the fact that they won't even defend themselves, like ghost,
- 7:56Speaker 2: drop your gloves. If you're going to do that, Aho,
- 7:59Speaker 2: maybe he's not the guy to fight, but if I'm
- 8:01Speaker 2: on all host team, I know I'm sprinting over there
- 8:04Speaker 2: to try to take care of the chalk, like regardless,
- 8:06Speaker 2: if you're going to get beat up, you got to
- 8:08Speaker 2: defend one of your your quote unquote superstars. So this
- 8:11Speaker 2: is just they got to go back to the drawing board.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And this is a cultural issue inside that locker room.
- 8:18Speaker 2: The way this series has been handled.
- 8:19Speaker 5: That's their identity Florida, right, And there's not too many
- 8:21Speaker 5: teams that can match what these guys doing over the
- 8:24Speaker 5: course of the last three years. Way more discipline, you know,
- 8:27Speaker 5: they know when to go after guys and know when
- 8:29Speaker 5: to hold up and not take you know, dumb penalties,
- 8:32Speaker 5: and especially in the playoffs, you can't afford to They're
- 8:34Speaker 5: that much smarter than they were two years ago. So
- 8:37Speaker 5: but again that's not Carolina's game. They're very structured, very disciplined.
- 8:42Speaker 5: But at the end of the day, you got to
- 8:44Speaker 5: have some of that grit and some of that you know,
- 8:46Speaker 5: that jam that you need to be a playoff team.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Well, I do want to go back to that, like
- 8:51Speaker 1: just the idea of like you know, situational intelligence where
- 8:54Speaker 1: you're not running after guys. You mentioned Sam Bennett a
- 8:56Speaker 1: few years ago. I mean, he was like a tea kettle, right,
- 8:58Speaker 1: it was just like going going, and it's just going
- 8:59Speaker 1: to when you're on the bench or you're in the
- 9:02Speaker 1: room and you know something happened. You know, guys are
- 9:05Speaker 1: fired up, Like was there conversation in there between a
- 9:07Speaker 1: few guys, Hey listen, Like, we'll find our time. There'll
- 9:10Speaker 1: be a moment or I mean, because you'd have to think,
- 9:12Speaker 1: you know, there's a couple of teammates and maybe that
- 9:14Speaker 1: guy can be loose cannon, something bad could happen. We
- 9:17Speaker 1: will find we'll pick our spot, We'll find our moment.
- 9:19Speaker 5: I mean, I just think back when I started with Montreal,
- 9:22Speaker 5: Craig Ludwig. If we're things weren't going our way, and
- 9:25Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys remember this. When Craig
- 9:26Speaker 5: Ldwick said he was going to do some of me elbow,
- 9:28Speaker 5: Trent Yanni almost killed him in the Montreal Forum. So
- 9:32Speaker 5: we did discuss it. And mcgilney was another guy we
- 9:34Speaker 5: targeted because Buffalo had some pretty good teams back then.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Back then at elbow was two minutes regardless of how Yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 5: no times, you gotta be smart. You don't want to
- 9:42Speaker 5: get suspended five five games for that. But yeah, it's
- 9:45Speaker 5: just different times. But you do have to target those
- 9:48Speaker 5: guys and the intimidation when it goes a long way.
- 9:52Speaker 2: There's there's a reason that teams are going to be
- 9:54Speaker 2: lined up to pay Sam Bennett ten eleven million dollars
- 9:58Speaker 2: for seven eight years whatever they and get their hands on.
- 10:00Speaker 2: If I would, I would pay. I would pay a
- 10:05Speaker 2: few million of that if I could, if I could
- 10:06Speaker 2: get inside Chelly Oser Wayne's wallet, okay, and and and
- 10:10Speaker 2: these types of players you need in playoffs. And and
- 10:12Speaker 2: I get that Carolina is very analytical and they want
- 10:15Speaker 2: guys who can play with pace and this, and that
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think given the fact that they're about to be
- 10:20Speaker 2: swept four times in a row and they need to
- 10:23Speaker 2: look in the mirror and say, we got to go
- 10:25Speaker 2: address these issues because this is a component to winning
- 10:28Speaker 2: playoff hockey. Florida has proved that. Other teams have proved that.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You're telling me if somebody went after McDavid or dry
- 10:35Speaker 2: Sidle that people on the Edmonton Oilers wouldn't be running
- 10:37Speaker 2: over to defend him, Like that's a joke. That's a
- 10:40Speaker 2: joke to me, that's a that's a that's an issue inside.
- 10:43Speaker 6: The locker room.
- 10:43Speaker 2: In my opinion, for Carolina, the fact that Svetch and
- 10:46Speaker 2: Ajo get attacked there and nobody's there to respond. I
- 10:49Speaker 2: don't care if it's better if it's Kachuk, you got
- 10:51Speaker 2: to do something, I mean, or Lov, I mean the
- 10:53Speaker 2: way he played to you, go over and handle it,
- 10:56Speaker 2: take a few punches in the head.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It'd be interesting to see how they respond and then
- 11:00Speaker 1: game how this changes. You should ready down three to zero.
- 11:04Speaker 1: The other big bright spot for Florida here is that
- 11:08Speaker 1: guys get injured. And we talked about collective effort and
- 11:10Speaker 1: defending themselves collective effort skill wise, right, because you call Mikola,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I mean, we've been talking about him and he's been
- 11:17Speaker 1: kind of a revelation year. But different guys keep stepping up,
- 11:20Speaker 1: and Mikola was a terrible ending to tonight's game. But
- 11:25Speaker 1: before this, just all the different components of this game,
- 11:28Speaker 1: you're watching the blossom.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Well, this pairing with Seth Jones has been incredible and
- 11:32Speaker 4: that right there, Liam, I felt that because I destroyed
- 11:36Speaker 4: my shoulder the same exact way when I was in Boston,
- 11:39Speaker 4: and it doesn't feel good. You hit that boards going
- 11:40Speaker 4: one hundred miles an hour, just like that. I wish
- 11:43Speaker 4: him well. I hope he comes back pretty quickly. But
- 11:45Speaker 4: he's been probably arguably their best defenseman along with Seth
- 11:48Speaker 4: Jones on that second pairing. I mean that size and
- 11:50Speaker 4: that reach and that length back there makes extremely difficult
- 11:53Speaker 4: on the PK jumping up offensively in the offensive zone.
- 11:57Speaker 4: He brings a different element to their team. And you
- 11:59Speaker 4: can't teach size, Yeah, you just can't. We heard Jackson
- 12:03Speaker 4: Blake talking about it. We spoke to them before last game,
- 12:06Speaker 4: like their d are so massive, they're so long out there,
- 12:09Speaker 4: it's hard to get around them. It's true, you can't
- 12:10Speaker 4: teach size. I don't care how smart you are, you
- 12:12Speaker 4: just can't.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Teach size and anticipation Mikl and Jones playing both offensive minded,
- 12:18Speaker 5: usually get a guy to play d and support each other.
- 12:21Speaker 5: But these guys, they just great anticipation when the pucks
- 12:24Speaker 5: turned over, jumping in the place. So Jones again first
- 12:27Speaker 5: minute or two had a really great opportunity jumping up
- 12:30Speaker 5: in the play and the fact that it's just it's
- 12:33Speaker 5: dangerous for other teams. You got to watch both of
- 12:35Speaker 5: them as opposed to just trying to keep in one
- 12:37Speaker 5: guy trying to join that rush and make it a
- 12:39Speaker 5: four man rush.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Do we have time for one clip or do we
- 12:41Speaker 2: have to go to commercial?
- 12:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Like this is what the embodies the Florida Panthers and
- 12:46Speaker 2: it starts at the top with Josha Barkoff. So we're
- 12:48Speaker 2: gonna roll this clip on. I believe it was the
- 12:51Speaker 2: end up being the game winner and just how he's
- 12:53Speaker 2: able to cover for his defenseman and give Eckblatt an
- 12:56Speaker 2: opportunity to pinch chump. And we're gonna roll it right here.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And this is the North South with angle. Okay, so
- 13:01Speaker 2: this is a breakout that doesn't go necessarily perfect, and
- 13:03Speaker 2: you're gonna see it. Go over to Barkov and they
- 13:05Speaker 2: got a great stick on puck. But watch this Ekblood
- 13:08Speaker 2: stands up. Look where Barkov is. He's skating right back
- 13:11Speaker 2: to help position himself to get underneath him, and he's
- 13:14Speaker 2: gonna beat Aho to the middle. But because he's doing that,
- 13:17Speaker 2: Ecblad knows that that gives him the ability to stand
- 13:20Speaker 2: up at the red line. He gets it turned over
- 13:23Speaker 2: and they go right back the other way and put
- 13:25Speaker 2: in the game winner. So watch it. Look at that
- 13:27Speaker 2: great stick on puck. But he's able to do that
- 13:30Speaker 2: because Asasha Barkoff, their captain, their leader, and it's a
- 13:34Speaker 2: trickle down effect throughout the whole lineup, and then you
- 13:37Speaker 2: get a guy like this who steps in, who's been
- 13:39Speaker 2: a healthy scratch, who's able to end up getting the
- 13:41Speaker 2: game winner. So just remarkable. We've seen it all playoffs long,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and we saw it a masterclass of it throughout this series,
- 13:48Speaker 2: including in that third period. And I don't think this
- 13:50Speaker 2: team's gonna lose another gonna lose a game.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And he steps right in. Barkov makes him comfortable. Boquist.
- 13:55Speaker 1: He steps in for Sam Ryan Ard, who over the
- 13:58Speaker 1: past two seasons offensively led the Florida Panthers in basically
- 14:01Speaker 1: everything everything that you can lead them in. He has
- 14:04Speaker 1: led them in except for assists, where he is third.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Bocus comes in, he has three points. He has a
- 14:09Speaker 1: goal there, but everyone's contributing. Evan Rodriguez he gets two
- 14:13Speaker 1: more assists in this game. He chatted with Jack.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Wow, Well, I'll start with this. This game was tight
- 14:20Speaker 6: through forty minutes. What allowed you guys to sort of
- 14:22Speaker 6: break out in the end and have another sort of
- 14:25Speaker 6: blowout performance.
- 14:27Speaker 7: I think just sticking to our game was the biggest thing.
- 14:29Speaker 7: They've came out hard, they played well, they had a
- 14:33Speaker 7: really good push in the second, but I thought we
- 14:36Speaker 7: just sucked our game and then you know, waited for
- 14:38Speaker 7: them to, you know, almost try to cheat the game,
- 14:41Speaker 7: try to create more offense than they needed, and we
- 14:43Speaker 7: ended up capitalizing on the turnovers.
- 14:45Speaker 6: What is it about this Panthers team that just thrives
- 14:49Speaker 6: to borrow a word from Palm Maurice in the mud, right, Like,
- 14:52Speaker 6: the game's tight, you're battling on the boards, you're winning
- 14:54Speaker 6: puck battles, You're doing all these little things. Why do
- 14:57Speaker 6: you guys thrive or seem to thrive in the areas.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Of the game.
- 15:00Speaker 7: I think it's because what we focus on during the air.
- 15:02Speaker 7: It's it's the little things, right, It's it's the dirty,
- 15:06Speaker 7: the hard, you know, like you said, the the in
- 15:09Speaker 7: the mud type games, and and we do it all
- 15:12Speaker 7: year long, so when it comes to the playoffs, we're
- 15:14Speaker 7: used to it and we're comfortable in it, and we
- 15:17Speaker 7: just stay patient and we've done a great job of that,
- 15:20Speaker 7: especially recently. And again a big third for.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Us tonight, uh and A and a big game for
- 15:25Speaker 6: both quist. He comes in with Sam reyan Hart out
- 15:27Speaker 6: of the lineup, has a huge night. What can you
- 15:30Speaker 6: say about the way he stepped in and stepped up
- 15:31Speaker 6: for you guys.
- 15:32Speaker 7: Yeah, he did it last series when I went down,
- 15:34Speaker 7: and he did it again tonight with with Rhino going down.
- 15:37Speaker 7: And he just just a smart player. He's he can
- 15:42Speaker 7: play with you know, good players, and he reads off
- 15:46Speaker 7: and well and he's he's got really good speed. So
- 15:48Speaker 7: he gets in on the foe check. He causes havoc.
- 15:50Speaker 7: You know, Barkie's first goal. It's it's a four check
- 15:54Speaker 7: that seemingly they have full control. We get in on
- 15:58Speaker 7: it and you know, it ends up in the back
- 15:59Speaker 7: of the night a few seconds later. So yeah, incredible
- 16:03Speaker 7: job at him, especially you know, not playing for a
- 16:05Speaker 7: week or so and and stepping right in and contributing.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Well, one more to book your ticket to the Stanley
- 16:11Speaker 6: Cup Final. I have got it on good authority that
- 16:13Speaker 6: sixty three had a cookie dough blizzard during the intermission.
- 16:17Speaker 6: Are we celebrating with ice cream after this one? Or
- 16:19Speaker 6: did you already indulge as well?
- 16:22Speaker 7: Not yet. We're gonna get the protein shakes and the
- 16:24Speaker 7: recovery drinks and us, and then we'll see where the
- 16:27Speaker 7: night takes us. Maybe maybe some guys will indulge, depending
- 16:30Speaker 7: on what they got at home.
- 16:30Speaker 6: What's your order?
- 16:32Speaker 7: I haven't gone to DQ in a while.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I wasn't.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Yeah, I wasn't part of that trip. But we've had
- 16:36Speaker 7: some graters ice cream in the in in our meal
- 16:39Speaker 7: room that the boys haven't been shy about, that's for sure.
- 16:42Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:42Speaker 6: Well, congrats on the wind and thanks for this anytime.
- 16:44Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I mean, that might be the greatest investigative reporting I've
- 16:49Speaker 1: ever He had a did Marshana have a blizzard? We
- 16:51Speaker 1: saw him Listen, we saw the end result, right, the
- 16:53Speaker 1: empty spoon. But if you had that's I mean, getting
- 16:56Speaker 1: the rad.
- 16:57Speaker 2: School beer right, you can't be drinking beers anymore. The
- 16:59Speaker 2: way you can't recover when you're crushing pops away. That
- 17:02Speaker 2: Chellie crushed him, But that was before the third period. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 2: oh he hate it.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Before that, well that was what we showed it, right,
- 17:07Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, are the extra protein.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I do have one question though, going forward. I mean,
- 17:13Speaker 1: obviously Caroline needs many different things to happen. But they
- 17:17Speaker 1: went to Cad check off for this, and until the
- 17:18Speaker 1: third period that looked like a very very good decision.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Could check off for Freddy Anderson for Game four?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Going back to mister Anderson, I mean, it's not even
- 17:26Speaker 4: a question for me, Kelly. It's gotta be Freddy and absolutely.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Like I said today, it wouldn't matter. Could check off
- 17:32Speaker 5: game a chance to win, Like we talked about second period,
- 17:34Speaker 5: Pobarowski just you know, he made the stays where he
- 17:38Speaker 5: needed to, and then Florida just took over.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I put them both in that if I could at
- 17:43Speaker 2: the same time, that's the only chance change it up
- 17:47Speaker 2: something new. Put them both in there.
- 17:48Speaker 1: The hell of a strategy. Yeah, it turns out, let's
- 17:51Speaker 1: roll the dice.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Two goalies
