- 0:00Speaker 1: If he's killing you, I see you. I was patient zero.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Wake your ass up.
- 0:10Speaker 3: John Jay and Richie.
- 0:11Speaker 4: Go!
- 0:13Speaker 5: What's crackin' like? And this is the big boss dog,
- 0:15Speaker 5: Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Bang, boom, what you gonna do? John Jay and Rich.
- 0:19Speaker 4: We're not talking about Ren 1010. We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:22Speaker 4: It's the one and.
- 0:23Speaker 5: Only dog, y'all. The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:26Speaker 4: In your face to me and in the place to be.
- 0:29Speaker 4: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your
- 0:31Speaker 4: ass up.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Rich, today's national one-hit wonder day.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 0:36Speaker 4: That's a big one.
- 0:37Speaker 5: Why don't we roll in some hot shell ray later on?
- 0:40Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Wow. It is also national quesadilla day, national comic book day,
- 0:47Speaker 5: national lobster day, national daughter's day, and national roadkill day.
- 0:54Speaker 5: And this one I think is interesting. Hug a vegetarian day.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Remember when it used to be? Vegetarian or vegan?
- 1:00Speaker 4: I was vegan.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Vegan. Remember? You were going through that whole thing?
- 1:03Speaker 6: Remember that phase?
- 1:03Speaker 4: I did that for like a year and a half.
- 1:05Speaker 6: You were pretty hardcore with it.
- 1:06Speaker 5: What else?
- 1:06Speaker 4: It's Friday today.
- 1:07Speaker 5: Yay!
- 1:07Speaker 1: Bring it on home.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Bring it on home. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Guys, we're celebrating because it's Friday.
- 1:16Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:17Speaker 8: I saw my brother the other night, and he's celebrating
- 1:19Speaker 8: because he's about to go to Hawaii.
- 1:21Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, must be nice.
- 1:24Speaker 8: And he was like, well, it is pretty nice because
- 1:26Speaker 8: me and my wife are getting 80% off to go
- 1:30Speaker 8: on this trip. And I asked, how do you get
- 1:32Speaker 8: a trip to Hawaii 80% off?
- 1:34Speaker 6: That's unheard of.
- 1:36Speaker 8: And he said, well, we got invited on this trip
- 1:38Speaker 8: because we agreed to sit down in a 90-minute tent.
- 1:43Speaker 6: Meeting for a timeshare.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Oh, they're going to end up with a timeshare.
- 1:47Speaker 6: That's what I said. I said, oh, okay.
- 1:50Speaker 8: Everything I've ever heard about, I've never done one of
- 1:52Speaker 8: these before, but everything I've ever heard about them is
- 1:54Speaker 8: that those salespeople are the most convincing salespeople.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Like you can't say no in these 90 minute meetings.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Kind of makes sense.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 8: And then you're stuck in this timeshare, which everything I've
- 2:04Speaker 8: heard about timeshares, you have to literally get a special
- 2:06Speaker 8: lawyer to get out of. Like it's a big pain
- 2:08Speaker 8: in the butt. And he goes, well, I'm not really
- 2:11Speaker 8: worried about it. And I was like, what do you
- 2:12Speaker 8: mean you're not really worried about it? He's like, cause
- 2:14Speaker 8: we already went on a different trip with them. And
- 2:15Speaker 8: I already said no in the 90 minute meeting. And
- 2:18Speaker 8: the same people, the same people said that he said, no,
- 2:22Speaker 8: it was like, I think it was a timeshare in California,
- 2:23Speaker 8: like wine country or something like that. And then he
- 2:26Speaker 8: said the same people after he said no to them,
- 2:28Speaker 8: then sent them another invite to try this other 90
- 2:31Speaker 8: minute timeshare meeting in Hawaii.
- 2:34Speaker 6: And now they're going. And he's like, I could definitely
- 2:36Speaker 6: say no.
- 2:36Speaker 4: All you got to do is sit in a meeting.
- 2:38Speaker 6: For 90 minutes and.
- 2:39Speaker 4: You get 80% off everything. You stay in the timeshare. Yeah.
- 2:42Speaker 6: He's like staying.
- 2:43Speaker 8: I think you said he's staying in a hotel and
- 2:45Speaker 8: it's like $ 1, 200 a night originally.
- 2:47Speaker 6: And they're paying 200. That's literally.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's so legit and nice. So what?
- 2:51Speaker 7: All you have to do to do that is just
- 2:53Speaker 7: be able to hold your own and stand your ground
- 2:55Speaker 7: and say no.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Don't be a pushover and.
- 2:57Speaker 7: You can get 80% off to Hawaii.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Most people probably cave on those things, especially if it's
- 3:02Speaker 5: nice to be like, but we should come back here.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, you're a sucker if you do that.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I'm with your brother. That's how they make their sales.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I know, because they make it sound like too good
- 3:10Speaker 6: to be true.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Do they make you do other things? Like you got
- 3:11Speaker 4: to go horseback riding?
- 3:12Speaker 6: No, he said literally a 90-minute meeting. That's your requirement.
- 3:16Speaker 6: They offer other things on the trip, but.
- 3:18Speaker 8: Your only requirement, I guess, is a 90-minute meeting.
- 3:22Speaker 4: So the salesperson from the winery thing that you went
- 3:25Speaker 4: on last time, they must have been like, I got
- 3:27Speaker 4: a hot one. He was close.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 4: We got to invite this unfug guy.
- 3:30Speaker 5: He'll probably go. He'll probably go. Like, would you like
- 3:33Speaker 5: to stay in the wine country and Hawaii at your leisure?
- 3:36Speaker 4: But you think about him reporting to management saying, oh,
- 3:38Speaker 4: you guys got any... prospects who you guys got and
- 3:40Speaker 4: they go I got this guy and he came to
- 3:42Speaker 4: the winery thing but I might be able to get
- 3:44Speaker 4: him a Hawaii because I wonder if.
- 3:45Speaker 8: They have like a stat or something oh for sure
- 3:48Speaker 8: that like you you can't say you can say no
- 3:50Speaker 8: to the first one maybe the second one but by
- 3:53Speaker 8: the third time you.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Get him yeah it's like he didn't fall for the
- 3:57Speaker 5: what the whatever the winery yeah but once we get
- 4:00Speaker 5: him on our soil. We're going to do this trick.
- 4:03Speaker 5: He's probably ripe for that. That's why they gave 80%.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I know a guy similar to what your brother's doing.
- 4:08Speaker 4: There's a very like foo-foo place and the houses are really,
- 4:12Speaker 4: really expensive. It's not timeshare. You have to buy a
- 4:15Speaker 4: house at this place. And his son, it was celebrating
- 4:18Speaker 4: his 30th birthday and his son wanted to go to
- 4:21Speaker 4: this resort. And so he called the resort and said,
- 4:24Speaker 4: I'm interested in buying a house here. And they said, okay,
- 4:27Speaker 4: You know, they had to verify funds that he could
- 4:30Speaker 4: pay for the house. Oh, dang. And then they put
- 4:32Speaker 4: him up in his house for four days for free.
- 4:34Speaker 4: And he had to do a tour of the property
- 4:36Speaker 4: and do all that stuff. Yeah. And they stayed there
- 4:38Speaker 4: for four days and his son got to play golf
- 4:40Speaker 4: and do everything he got to do. And then that
- 4:41Speaker 4: was it. They never, they never didn't buy it. Didn't whatever,
- 4:44Speaker 4: but he got four days.
- 4:45Speaker 8: Maybe those foo-foo places do that kind of stuff all
- 4:48Speaker 8: the time. Like prospecting, like they have to sell it somehow.
- 4:51Speaker 8: And how better to sell it than to have you
- 4:53Speaker 8: there on the property saying.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Isn't this amazing?
- 4:56Speaker 7: Right. And they probably account for all of the other
- 4:58Speaker 7: things that you're doing on the property too and paying for.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Yeah. Like when they go, we need to verify funds. Okay,
- 5:03Speaker 4: well I'm out.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Can't do that.
- 5:04Speaker 6: We're not going to do that.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Can't do that.
- 5:06Speaker 6: Are you just going to stay there? We're not going
- 5:09Speaker 6: to do that.
- 5:09Speaker 5: But I mean, that's a pretty smart move. It's like,
- 5:11Speaker 5: you could live here.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Or, or you, you know what, John Jay, you could do,
- 5:15Speaker 6: what was that? Oh my gosh. What was the girl's name?
- 5:17Speaker 8: We all watched the, we all watched the Netflix show
- 5:20Speaker 8: and she faked her way into like, she was, she
- 5:23Speaker 8: was coming into money and that's how she got her.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:26Speaker 8: Yes.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah, she just faked everything.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Maybe that's how you do it.
- 5:30Speaker 4: People gave her money, and they kept comping her everywhere. Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 4: very good. All right, so when's your brother going on
- 5:35Speaker 4: this trip, and did the airfare come with it?
- 5:37Speaker 6: I didn't ask about the airfare, but I believe it's soon.
- 5:40Speaker 6: All right. I'll keep you posted if he gets roped in.
- 5:43Speaker 4: My wife and I have some friends that have a
- 5:46Speaker 4: timeshare in Utah, in Deer Valley, and they love it.
- 5:50Speaker 6: They do? They actually use it?
- 5:52Speaker 4: They use it. And I guess you could trade weeks
- 5:54Speaker 4: with people or something like that. So if it doesn't
- 5:56Speaker 4: work out for you, but they love it, which is,
- 5:58Speaker 4: and I know my sister is gone and she said
- 6:00Speaker 4: it's fantastic, but it's like something really foo-foo though. That
- 6:04Speaker 4: must be a different kind of thing. Like they pick
- 6:05Speaker 4: you up at the airport. They stock the fridge with
- 6:07Speaker 4: the food.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 6:08Speaker 4: That is fancy. So you don't have to, whatever. I
- 6:11Speaker 4: wonder if that's what they're going to offer your brother.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Cause maybe that's the thing about that. If you're going
- 6:14Speaker 4: to go, And you like, man, what a beautiful view.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It's on the beach.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:17Speaker 4: You get it for two weeks a year. Oh, and
- 6:19Speaker 4: by the way, you tell us what you want and
- 6:21Speaker 4: we're going to pick up at the airport. We're going
- 6:22Speaker 4: to fill the food, the refrigerator for all your food.
- 6:24Speaker 4: You want, you have everything you need here.
- 6:26Speaker 9: Wow.
- 6:26Speaker 4: That sounds great. Where do I sign?
- 6:27Speaker 5: I wouldn't, I wouldn't, don't send me to that. I'll
- 6:29Speaker 5: sign up for it.
- 6:30Speaker 8: I wonder if that's what they do. Like he said, no,
- 6:33Speaker 8: the first time. So now we have to give him
- 6:34Speaker 8: package B.
- 6:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Yeah. So anyway, if anyone knows this, you know, call
- 6:39Speaker 4: and let us know.
- 6:40Speaker 2: 877-937-1047.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Hallie. Good morning.
- 6:44Speaker 10: My boyfriend still texts his ex's mom and he gets
- 6:49Speaker 10: away with it because she's in his fantasy football league.
- 6:52Speaker 10: Like I didn't even know she watched football, but apparently
- 6:55Speaker 10: they've been in the same league for like six years
- 6:57Speaker 10: and she's actually really good. But the problem is like
- 7:00Speaker 10: he just gets way more excited to beat her than
- 7:03Speaker 10: anyone else in his league. Like last Sunday we were
- 7:06Speaker 10: watching football and he like screamed at the TV like, yes,
- 7:09Speaker 10: suck it, Linda. And then immediately texted her all these emojis.
- 7:13Speaker 10: And I was sitting next to him being like, you
- 7:15Speaker 10: realize you're trash talking your ex's mother from our couch, right?
- 7:18Speaker 10: And he just like was like, babe, it's competitive. I'm like, okay.
- 7:22Speaker 10: Like I don't love it, but what can I do?
- 7:26Speaker 6: I don't know. And it bothers you.
- 7:28Speaker 8: It's not like she's like Linda and I are hanging
- 7:30Speaker 8: out and his ex is going to be there. Cause like,
- 7:33Speaker 8: I feel like you can do fantasy football with people.
- 7:35Speaker 8: And like last season, I didn't see barely any of
- 7:38Speaker 8: the people.
- 7:39Speaker 3: You know?
- 7:40Speaker 8: So it's kind of like, I guess they're part of
- 7:42Speaker 8: each other's lives, but there's like a big disassociation there
- 7:45Speaker 8: and it just bothers you because of like the connection
- 7:48Speaker 8: or what exactly?
- 7:49Speaker 6: Is there more to it?
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 10: Like the fact that he's still connected to her in
- 7:53Speaker 10: some way.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:55Speaker 10: Like I get they're like different people, obviously, but I
- 7:58Speaker 10: don't know. There's just something about that. I just, I
- 8:00Speaker 10: can't really explain why it bothers me, but it does.
- 8:01Speaker 7: No, I get that because I feel like it's like, OK, well,
- 8:04Speaker 7: like if you're talking to or you're talking to her mom, like,
- 8:07Speaker 7: are you accidentally thinking about her or think about that
- 8:08Speaker 7: past relationship? But in my head, I'm like, I wouldn't
- 8:11Speaker 7: even trip about it because he's rooting on Linda's downfall.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's not like he like wants Linda to win.
- 8:15Speaker 6: He said suck it, Linda.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He literally wants her to fail.
- 8:19Speaker 7: So if he doesn't, if there's no other red flags,
- 8:22Speaker 7: like your boyfriend isn't talking to his ex or doesn't
- 8:24Speaker 7: follow her, doesn't do anything.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I wouldn't trip too much about it.
- 8:27Speaker 10: OK, that's a good point, I guess.
- 8:30Speaker 4: All right, well, thanks for calling in, Hallie. Peyton, what's
- 8:36Speaker 4: the vibe for Horoscopes today?
- 8:37Speaker 7: I'm telling you what your unhinged football tailgate personality is
- 8:41Speaker 7: based on your Zodiac sign.
- 8:42Speaker 1: If it's your birthday, you are a Libra.
- 8:44Speaker 7: You share a birthday with Will Smith, Donald Glover, T.I., Rosalia,
- 8:49Speaker 7: Teddy Swims, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Scottie Pippen.
- 8:51Speaker 9: Woo!
- 8:52Speaker 7: Yeah, so Kyle, you are a Libra in the room,
- 8:54Speaker 7: so we're going to start off with you. When it
- 8:56Speaker 7: comes to tailgating, you show up late looking effortlessly cute.
- 9:00Speaker 7: You flirt with the security guards to get extra wristbands,
- 9:03Speaker 7: and then you spend the entire tailgate taking 200 pictures
- 9:05Speaker 7: with a pom-pom that you borrowed from a stranger.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Take another one, a funny one.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And you're always yelling at everyone to take a funny one.
- 9:13Speaker 6: Props and photos are the best. That sounds like a
- 9:16Speaker 6: fun day.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Good morning, Valerie. What's your sign?
- 9:20Speaker 6: Hi, I'm an Aries.
- 9:21Speaker 7: All right, Aries, your guys' unhinged tailgate personality. You are
- 9:25Speaker 7: running the beer pong table like a drill sergeant by
- 9:28Speaker 7: 9 a.m.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Sharp.
- 9:29Speaker 7: You are screaming at your opponent's terrible form, and you
- 9:32Speaker 7: are losing your voice two full hours before the team
- 9:34Speaker 7: even stepped onto the field.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Sounds about right.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Thank you guys so much. You got it, Valerie. Hi, Michelle.
- 9:39Speaker 4: What's your sign?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Hi, I'm Sagittarius.
- 9:42Speaker 7: All right, Sagittarius, your guys' unhinged football tailgate personality. You
- 9:46Speaker 7: guys will start a high-stakes flip.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Cup tournament with total strangers.
- 9:50Speaker 7: You're going to attempt flips for shots challenges on a
- 9:53Speaker 7: portable table and somehow lose your shoe before the first
- 9:55Speaker 7: quarter even starts.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that sounds so exciting.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Thank you, guys.
- 9:59Speaker 7: I love you.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Thanks, Michelle.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Bye.
- 10:02Speaker 4: How about Pisces?
- 10:03Speaker 7: Rich, when it comes to you and your tailgating, you
- 10:05Speaker 7: will get completely swept up in the collective energy. You
- 10:09Speaker 7: have learned of a fight song and you start crying
- 10:11Speaker 7: happy tears.
- 10:12Speaker 1: One, because you're too drunk.
- 10:13Speaker 7: And two, because the teams march to the stadium because
- 10:16Speaker 7: the community vibe is just so beautiful.
- 10:19Speaker 5: I do love a good proper hang with about a
- 10:21Speaker 5: thousand or so people.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:23Speaker 5: 30,000 is even better.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Right up your alley.
- 10:24Speaker 4: How about Leos?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a Leo.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Us Leos, when it comes to us and tailgating. We
- 10:29Speaker 7: treat the parking lot like it's a red carpet. We
- 10:31Speaker 7: are wearing our custom head-turning game day outfit. We are
- 10:35Speaker 7: leading the crowd chance on top of a pickup truck bed,
- 10:37Speaker 7: making sure every camera in a 50-foot radius is catching
- 10:40Speaker 7: our good side.
- 10:41Speaker 4: And let's wrap up with Virgos.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Yeah, Virgos, you got there right when the gates opened,
- 10:46Speaker 7: but just so you can leave as soon as they close.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You have set up the pop-up tent, and you are
- 10:50Speaker 1: currently stress-monitoring all of the energy and all of the vibes.
- 10:54Speaker 4: All right, if we can get you a sign, they're
- 10:56Speaker 4: all posted on our website, johnjandrich.com. Having trouble getting.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Through on the phone?
- 11:00Speaker 6: Text John Jay and Rich anytime.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Send JJR, then your message to 96893.
- 11:04Speaker 8: You guys see earlier this week, Tom Cruise actually said
- 11:08Speaker 8: he doesn't even read his own scripts because he feels
- 11:11Speaker 8: like he absorbs the material better by listening. And he
- 11:14Speaker 8: doesn't want his own ideas interfering before he hears the material.
- 11:18Speaker 8: So they actually said, okay, that's kind of interesting because
- 11:21Speaker 8: this study came out. That found people can process print
- 11:24Speaker 8: and audio differently depending on the task. Print did better
- 11:27Speaker 8: for things like overall gist and vocabulary. But recall and
- 11:31Speaker 8: like interference could be like the audio is better for
- 11:34Speaker 8: that stuff, for recalling it. Like you'll remember it better
- 11:37Speaker 8: if you hear it rather than reading it.
- 11:39Speaker 5: So I guess if he reads it, he's thinking, well,
- 11:41Speaker 5: what if I said this instead?
- 11:42Speaker 4: But if he hears it. He's hearing it like a story.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I also heard that he was dyslexic. So one of
- 11:46Speaker 4: that has that probably.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Has something to do with it as well.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Also, too, like think about it. Kids, when they rewatch
- 11:51Speaker 1: TV shows, they can. I mean, my nephew does. He
- 11:54Speaker 1: can almost like recite.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Oh, my goodness.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Every line.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Exactly. So it's like when you're hearing it on repeat,
- 12:00Speaker 1: I guess I get that.
- 12:01Speaker 5: I was like that in school. If you if you
- 12:03Speaker 5: were a teacher, like going through history, if you talk
- 12:06Speaker 5: about it and tell it as a story in class,
- 12:08Speaker 5: I got it. If you've got to read a textbook,
- 12:10Speaker 5: probably not going to read it. So now it's like.
- 12:12Speaker 8: There's this online discussion of things that we should be
- 12:15Speaker 8: hearing and not reading, like directions to somewhere for the
- 12:18Speaker 8: first time or a long work email.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Like, don't read it.
- 12:21Speaker 8: Just read it to me because then you can kind
- 12:23Speaker 8: of like multitask and absorb the information that way, too.
- 12:26Speaker 4: OK, well, there's here's one thing in that regard that
- 12:29Speaker 4: I don't like. I don't like when someone sends me
- 12:31Speaker 4: an audio text message. I'd rather read it.
- 12:34Speaker 1: But you can read it now on the audio messages.
- 12:37Speaker 8: But I wonder if you would remember the text better
- 12:40Speaker 8: if you heard it or something like that. Because the
- 12:42Speaker 8: next one on the list of things is a book.
- 12:45Speaker 8: And I cannot sit down and read a book, but
- 12:47Speaker 8: I can listen to an audio book all day.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Oh, really? See, I'm the exact opposite. I don't want
- 12:51Speaker 1: to hear your voice in my ear.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Same.
- 12:53Speaker 8: I like hearing Prince Harry's voice talking about his ear.
- 12:57Speaker 4: So when Tom Cruise has someone read a script, then
- 12:59Speaker 4: they'll go to him and they'll go, hey, this is
- 13:00Speaker 4: a good script. You should read it. And then he'll
- 13:02Speaker 4: be like, okay, now that you read it, okay, good.
- 13:05Speaker 6: They will literally read it out loud to him.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Oh, they read it to him? Yeah, he'll sing and
- 13:09Speaker 4: listen to the script.
- 13:09Speaker 5: So he's hearing the story, which I think is good
- 13:11Speaker 5: for him.
- 13:12Speaker 4: I wonder who that would have been, the person reading it,
- 13:13Speaker 4: looking at him nervous, shaking the script.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I know. Or like you mess up.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I read Tom Cruise.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Or like what if like your inflection is different than
- 13:20Speaker 1: how he would actually.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Well, he probably hires someone.
- 13:22Speaker 8: Or in his head, he's literally taking the time. Like
- 13:26Speaker 8: I almost kind of feel like it's maybe a life
- 13:28Speaker 8: hack for him as a movie maker because he's hearing
- 13:31Speaker 8: it and visualizing what the movie is going to be
- 13:33Speaker 8: or visualizing himself as the character.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 5: So he's found something that he just doesn't want to
- 13:37Speaker 5: deal with and has hired somebody to do it.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I'd like to do that with working out.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Same.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I want to hire someone to work out for me. Jerry,
- 13:44Speaker 4: he's my leg guy. But somehow I get the benefits.
- 13:47Speaker 6: I would like to hire someone to cook dinner for
- 13:49Speaker 6: me as well. On that note.
- 13:52Speaker 5: I'd like somebody to tell me, like, if the main
- 13:54Speaker 5: preacher is there on Sunday or if it's a fill-in.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Because if it's a fill-in, I probably won't go.
- 13:58Speaker 4: That's funny you say that. I need to just check
- 14:00Speaker 4: the Sun Valley app. I've investigated a lot on social
- 14:03Speaker 4: media to see where the preacher is before I come in.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't want to deal with that.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Really?
- 14:06Speaker 5: I just want to know, and then I'll be like,
- 14:07Speaker 5: I want to know before Sunday so I can sleep late.
- 14:11Speaker 6: If you go to Sun Valley, you can see the
- 14:13Speaker 6: schedule on the app.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I love the guy.
- 14:15Speaker 1: That's very trendy of Sun Valley.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Terry Chris, the guy I love. I will look on
- 14:19Speaker 4: social media and see if he's there. If he's on vacation,
- 14:21Speaker 4: he's probably not.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Going to be there.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Then you go to the website and you see if
- 14:24Speaker 4: there's a guest speaker. But if they don't say there's
- 14:26Speaker 4: a guest speaker and it's just the backup preacher, I'm like, huh.
- 14:28Speaker 8: But sometimes the guest speaker is almost better.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Not better, but almost always is pretty good.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 4: What else? Someone cook for you. Someone work out for you.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Tom Cruise has someone read for you.
- 14:42Speaker 5: I want the alert for the guest speaker to come
- 14:44Speaker 5: through on a Saturday.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I like to have somebody just run all the tedious errands.
- 14:49Speaker 4: I feel like that. For example, I had three weeks
- 14:52Speaker 4: of my air on my tires being low.
- 14:54Speaker 8: I think you guys are kind of like making a
- 14:55Speaker 8: case to have like a robot in your house because
- 14:57Speaker 8: they could like.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Do all those things. Except they're working out for you.
- 15:00Speaker 6: That wouldn't work.
- 15:00Speaker 5: I've been trying to get us a show robot for
- 15:02Speaker 5: a long time and we would name him Showbot.
- 15:04Speaker 6: I like Showbot.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Wouldn't this all just be like an assistant if he
- 15:06Speaker 1: had one? Like I bet you Kim Kardashian's assistant does.
- 15:08Speaker 6: All of that kind of stuff. Except she can't work
- 15:10Speaker 6: out for you.
- 15:11Speaker 5: That's like the one thing.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Do this for me so I can take a day off.
- 15:16Speaker 7: You know those things like at the medispa where they
- 15:18Speaker 7: like zap your abs and like it makes you have like.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 6: No, John Jay, we've done that before.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Yeah, we've done it.
- 15:24Speaker 6: They would do it to our butt.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So you would have to buy one and have your
- 15:27Speaker 1: assistant do your workout for you that way. Yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 6: I feel like they need to create a suit.
- 15:33Speaker 8: Like a suit you could just wear around all day
- 15:35Speaker 8: as you're doing your normal walking.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 15:37Speaker 7: I have a pair of leggings that literally have workout
- 15:40Speaker 7: bands inside of them.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I remember those. And when you walk and you can
- 15:43Speaker 1: like squat.
- 15:44Speaker 6: Send me the link.
- 15:45Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 15:45Speaker 1: They're called Sweet Flex, I think.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Oh, so what are you talking about?
- 15:48Speaker 7: They're literally leggings that have resistance bands sewn into them.
- 15:54Speaker 1: So when you walk, it's like giving resistance.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Okay, I think I've been getting Instagram ads for those.
- 15:58Speaker 7: They're actually really, make sure you size up because they
- 16:00Speaker 7: do run a little small.
- 16:01Speaker 9: Okay.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But they're really nice.
- 16:02Speaker 4: All right, so what would you like someone to do
- 16:04Speaker 4: for you? I mean, essentially something to do for you, right?
- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah, something that you.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I want someone to chew my food for me. Remember
- 16:09Speaker 4: we did Baby Bird?
- 16:10Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, yes, I do.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Do you know what Baby Bird is?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's where you like chew up your food and
- 16:14Speaker 1: spit it in someone else's mouth.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we had Kyle do that to something. That's disgusting.
- 16:17Speaker 4: She spit her food in his mouth and he ate it.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Ew. Guess what it was.
- 16:20Speaker 7: I would want someone to like do all like the annoying, like,
- 16:22Speaker 7: brush my teeth or like take a shower for me
- 16:25Speaker 7: or like put my, like the things I just don't
- 16:27Speaker 7: want to do.
- 16:27Speaker 4: We got to do that again. Who could Kyle baby bird?
- 16:31Speaker 6: That was really gross.
- 16:32Speaker 1: That is actually disgusting.
- 16:33Speaker 4: We don't have an intern anymore.
- 16:34Speaker 5: It wasn't.
- 16:35Speaker 6: It was Joey Bradfish.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Ew.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Ew.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Let's bring him back for that.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Did you really like mush it up? Yeah.
- 16:43Speaker 6: I was part of the gig.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I'll volunteer. You can just spit in my face. I'm down.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Baby bird. Baby bird me.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Baby bird.
- 16:48Speaker 7: Baby bird.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Coffee in hand, earbuds on John Jay and Rich.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Mornings.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I have stacks of information. Rich has life hacks. My
- 17:00Speaker 4: information is the kind of stuff you can take with
- 17:01Speaker 4: you into the weekend. It's like, oh, wow, I didn't
- 17:03Speaker 4: know that. We talk a lot about The Voice on
- 17:06Speaker 4: this show recently, right? Giving away gift cards to The Voice.
- 17:09Speaker 4: New season of The Voice. I guess that you may
- 17:12Speaker 4: have forgotten some of today's biggest artists once auditioned for
- 17:15Speaker 4: The Voice.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Auditioned?
- 17:16Speaker 4: Okay. I think you're going to be very, very surprised.
- 17:20Speaker 4: I forgot about that. You guys know Camila Cabello auditioned
- 17:22Speaker 4: for The Voice?
- 17:22Speaker 6: No way.
- 17:24Speaker 4: She passed the audition with producers but never auditioned for
- 17:27Speaker 4: the coaches.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Oh, so we never saw it.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Mm-mm. Lainey Wilson, who just performed at our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 17:34Speaker 4: She auditioned seven times.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Oh, my goodness.
- 17:37Speaker 4: She never made it to the part where they turned
- 17:39Speaker 4: the chairs around.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Wow.
- 17:40Speaker 6: That just shows you just never give up.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Maren Morse. She was rejected also by American Idol.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 17:48Speaker 4: This part's cute. Morgan Wallen. He made it to the
- 17:51Speaker 4: show in season six, but was eliminated during the playoffs.
- 17:54Speaker 4: And now the dude fills arena stadiums.
- 17:56Speaker 5: I knew that one.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Chapel Roan, she was 15 and said the producer she
- 18:01Speaker 4: auditioned with didn't even look up from their phone.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Luke Combs, he auditioned in front of producers but basically
- 18:08Speaker 4: told he's too boring for television.
- 18:10Speaker 9: What?
- 18:11Speaker 4: That's crazy. Those are all people.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Too boring for television?
- 18:13Speaker 5: Why?
- 18:13Speaker 7: Because does the voice give you background information on the.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Contestants and stuff?
- 18:18Speaker 5: I've never seen it. They do some of the stories
- 18:20Speaker 5: and stuff. Like Idol. It's kind of the same show,
- 18:22Speaker 5: but different.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Again, Stacks and Hacks, the Stacks part is just random information.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Do you guys know that female kangaroos have three vajayjay's?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 6: I did not know that. You knew that?
- 18:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And they also have two inside pouches. Kangaroos are really cool.
- 18:36Speaker 8: I didn't know Peyton knew so much about kangaroos.
- 18:39Speaker 6: I really was.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Big on the Discovery Channel when I was a kid.
- 18:42Speaker 5: And that comes up a lot on the Discovery Channel.
- 18:43Speaker 7: I just really take a liking to sharks specifically, but
- 18:46Speaker 7: I really like the animals.
- 18:47Speaker 4: So you know that kangaroos have three vajayjas, but you
- 18:50Speaker 4: don't know who Public Enemy is.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Well, I was familiar.
- 18:53Speaker 4: No, that's good.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I know Flava Flav, which we've learned recently.
- 18:58Speaker 5: If you're a band name and your band name is
- 19:00Speaker 5: Kangaroo with three vajayjas, you're going to go fuck.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Do you know there are no native squirrels in Australia
- 19:05Speaker 4: or New Zealand?
- 19:07Speaker 5: I did not know that.
- 19:07Speaker 1: So what, they're just an invasive species if they're there?
- 19:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess so. Did you know that after medical
- 19:12Speaker 4: students work on cadavers, it makes them hungry? Not because
- 19:16Speaker 4: of weird cannibalistic urges, because the smell of formaldehyde increases
- 19:20Speaker 4: your appetite.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Ew! I feel like that would make you lose your appetite.
- 19:23Speaker 5: That smell is forever burned in my brain from high school.
- 19:27Speaker 8: Dissecting having to always seen all those shows where they're
- 19:30Speaker 8: like working on the dead people and they're like.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Eating i'm wondering i thought they did that.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Just i like wonder if that's like an actual thing though.
- 19:38Speaker 4: So there's this phrase called slop face and they're say
- 19:43Speaker 4: slop face taking over hollywood okay what's slop face al
- 19:47Speaker 4: pacino sylvester stallone meryl streep nicholas Christopher Walken, Samuel Jackson,
- 19:51Speaker 4: Sandra Bullock. There was a time when celebrities didn't all
- 19:54Speaker 4: share a certain look. A writer at The Hollywood Reporter
- 19:57Speaker 4: thinks that's changing. Today's stars all have the sameness to them.
- 20:00Speaker 4: The writer calls it Instagram Face or Slop Face.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Is it just basically Botoxed and.
- 20:05Speaker 4: They all look the same I think there's a certain
- 20:07Speaker 4: look That you're just like Good looking Like there's no
- 20:09Speaker 4: really Ugly big name actors Like the people I just
- 20:11Speaker 4: named Like Sylvester Stallone Al Pacino Nicholas Cage Christopher Walken
- 20:15Speaker 4: They're not gorgeous Although Sandra Bullock is So I don't
- 20:18Speaker 4: know what she Like yeah They call Rachel McAdams Brave
- 20:22Speaker 4: for keeping her beauty marks Right like people get Their
- 20:24Speaker 4: teeth fixed People get all kinds Of stuff like that
- 20:26Speaker 4: right And to wrap up Sex and Hacks Everyday phrases
- 20:32Speaker 4: That can sound condescending It all depends on your tone.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Good for you. Is that one of them? Good for you.
- 20:40Speaker 4: No, but that's good.
- 20:41Speaker 5: That's nice for you.
- 20:42Speaker 4: I don't think you understand, Richard, what I'm trying to do.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Maybe you should Google it. That's one of them you
- 20:48Speaker 4: wouldn't understand.
- 20:49Speaker 5: I don't want to be condescending. That's when you talk
- 20:50Speaker 5: down to somebody.
- 20:52Speaker 4: It's not that big a deal. What if it's a
- 20:54Speaker 4: big deal to them? So when you minimize their feelings.
- 20:59Speaker 4: You just need to. Not everyone loves receiving instructions. That's condescending.
- 21:04Speaker 4: You're trying your best, or are you just setting low expectations?
- 21:07Speaker 4: So when you say, oh, you're trying your best, that's condescending.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I guess it's condescending when you say, well, actually, it's
- 21:12Speaker 4: even worse if it follows up by explaining something you
- 21:14Speaker 4: already know. And the number one thing that's condescending That's cute.
- 21:19Speaker 5: There's a John Jay one right there. That's adorable. And
- 21:23Speaker 5: then you put whatever somebody's working on, you put little
- 21:25Speaker 5: in front of that. How's your little assignment going or whatever?
- 21:28Speaker 4: What do you got for life hacks? All right.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Here's my little life hack. The healthy hair hack, which
- 21:32Speaker 5: I didn't know. You guys probably know this because you
- 21:34Speaker 5: guys are smart, Peyton, Kyle, but I did not know this.
- 21:37Speaker 5: If you want to know how your hair's doing, you
- 21:40Speaker 5: should just drop it in some water, like a couple
- 21:43Speaker 5: of strands, because When it floats, that's good. When it sinks,
- 21:47Speaker 5: not good. So I guess if it's short of nutrients,
- 21:52Speaker 5: then it'll drop to the bottom. And when hair absorbs
- 21:55Speaker 5: water faster, that means that you might be sickly.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I thought that was just your hair porosity.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I guess not. It's the whole thing. So
- 22:04Speaker 5: I would want to have some fun. Take off a
- 22:06Speaker 5: couple locks and see what they do. Sink or float.
- 22:10Speaker 5: That hair hack and many more can be found at johnjanerich.com.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Listen to this.
- 22:14Speaker 7: Think back.
- 22:25Speaker 4: To the last time you felt totally maxed out mentally, okay?
- 22:29Speaker 4: Maxed out. You're stressed out, right? Think back to the
- 22:32Speaker 4: last time that you were just like lost it, right?
- 22:36Speaker 4: What do you do? How do you get rid of
- 22:38Speaker 4: that stress? How do you say when your mental load
- 22:41Speaker 4: is at maximum capacity? What do you do to de-stress?
- 22:45Speaker 4: What do you got, Peyton?
- 22:46Speaker 1: I call Kyle.
- 22:48Speaker 7: I call Kyle and I tell her exactly what's making
- 22:51Speaker 7: me mad. And then she just tells me it's never
- 22:53Speaker 7: that serious. And then I'm usually fine and I go
- 22:55Speaker 7: get a drink after.
- 22:56Speaker 5: That's when you see Peyton at that bar at six.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Or when I was in high school, I used to
- 23:02Speaker 7: meet my friends. There was this spot like kind of
- 23:04Speaker 7: in Ahwatukee where you would be able to oversee the city.
- 23:06Speaker 7: And we'd go up late at night and we would
- 23:08Speaker 7: park at the top. We had to drive through this neighborhood.
- 23:10Speaker 7: And we would just scream, scream bloody murder at the
- 23:13Speaker 7: top of our lungs.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And we'd always lose our voice after, but it felt
- 23:15Speaker 1: so good.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Wait, you and how many people would do that?
- 23:17Speaker 1: Like maybe me or two of my friends.
- 23:19Speaker 4: You just scream?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Yeah, just top, top of our lungs. Like you just
- 23:22Speaker 1: got to get it out.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Okay, what do you got, Rich?
- 23:24Speaker 5: I'm close to that. I usually sing some kind of
- 23:26Speaker 5: Disney song really loud. Like, you know, like if I'm
- 23:29Speaker 5: totally stressed, I'm completely brain max. It'll be like, let's
- 23:32Speaker 5: get down to business to defeat the huns.
- 23:37Speaker 6: So that's why you were singing FIFO this morning.
- 23:39Speaker 5: You guys walked in, I was maxed out. I was like,
- 23:42Speaker 5: somewhere out there.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Is there anything you do, Kyle, to de-stress?
- 23:47Speaker 6: Uh, yeah, I go into my closet. I shut the door.
- 23:50Speaker 6: I sit on the ground and I put my headphones
- 23:51Speaker 6: on and listen to music.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Listen to Enya. I remember that.
- 23:54Speaker 8: Usually Enya and his very good one. No, not recently.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Thank goodness.
- 23:59Speaker 4: A hundred people gathered at the beach in San Francisco,
- 24:03Speaker 4: much like Peyton. So they could scream at the ocean.
- 24:08Speaker 4: They could think about any bad thing in their life
- 24:10Speaker 4: and just let it all out.
- 24:12Speaker 1: This is the moment that we've all been treating for
- 24:13Speaker 1: and that you guys all came up here for today.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Really think about all the horrible things.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Every horrible thing that's ever happened.
- 24:19Speaker 4: To you since you were born into this cruel, cruel world.
- 24:21Speaker 1: We're going to let it all out.
- 24:22Speaker 8: 100% of your power on 3, 2, 1.
- 24:32Speaker 4: See, I like that because I remember one point there
- 24:35Speaker 4: was a, I had a rough period in my life
- 24:36Speaker 4: and I think I came on the air and talked
- 24:37Speaker 4: about it. I would be at the gym and there
- 24:39Speaker 4: was a hot tub and I would go underwater in
- 24:41Speaker 4: the hot tub and scream at the top of my
- 24:43Speaker 4: lungs underwater. It was so intense. It was great. It
- 24:47Speaker 4: felt great. Now I just lift weights. Now I feel
- 24:49Speaker 4: like I get it out lifting weights and stuff, but
- 24:51Speaker 4: I don't like the concept of every single bad thing
- 24:53Speaker 4: that's ever happened in your life. At some point you
- 24:54Speaker 4: got to move on. I think if you're going through
- 24:55Speaker 4: something right now and you need, you let it all out.
- 24:58Speaker 6: I guess it's good that if you're holding on to
- 25:00Speaker 6: any of that stuff.
- 25:00Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 25:01Speaker 4: You're going to put Kyle to sleep now.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Here's Kyle's closet jam. I usually do.
- 25:07Speaker 6: A different Enya song, but this is good.
- 25:09Speaker 5: It's all right. It's the one I had in the system, Kyle.
- 25:11Speaker 1: All right. I'm not stressed, so.
- 25:14Speaker 4: It is pretty peaceful.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Go ahead, Peyton. Let it out, Peyton.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Did they give me daughters when I asked for sons?
- 25:44Speaker 6: So much stress relief.
- 25:46Speaker 8: We should all feel real loose right now, gang.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Hey, if you want to call the radio show and scream,
- 25:51Speaker 4: feel free. Call us, 877-937-1047. We'll let you de-stress on
- 25:54Speaker 4: our radio show.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I could be the twist, the one to make you stop.
- 26:00Speaker 1: It's so easy. Fall in love with me.
- 26:05Speaker 4: It's John Jane Rich. Misha, good morning.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Dear God.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Wow.
- 26:14Speaker 6: That's pretty good.
- 26:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:16Speaker 5: That had some firepower on it.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Wow.
- 26:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 26:19Speaker 4: That's how you de-stress. We appreciate it.
- 26:22Speaker 5: I don't know that I'd want to work in the
- 26:23Speaker 5: same cubicle room with her that would frighten me to.
- 26:26Speaker 9: Death okay guys but like for real there was this
- 26:32Speaker 9: one day like Oh, my God. I was so stressed
- 26:35Speaker 9: because it was one of those days where, like, you
- 26:38Speaker 9: know where everything goes wrong?
- 26:40Speaker 5: So, like, right from.
- 26:43Speaker 6: The beginning, like, I overslept.
- 26:45Speaker 4: I didn't, like, hear my alarm.
- 26:47Speaker 9: And then, like, I had this huge presentation at work. And, like,
- 26:51Speaker 9: I completely blanked. And then, like, later, like, my friends
- 26:56Speaker 9: texted me because we were supposed to go on this, like,
- 26:59Speaker 9: girl trip. And they canceled it.
- 27:01Speaker 4: And, like, I was so bummed.
- 27:03Speaker 9: And, you know, I was like, I'm going to explode.
- 27:07Speaker 5: I don't know what to do.
- 27:08Speaker 9: So I decided to just, like, try one of those, like,
- 27:11Speaker 9: shake the stress out of your body videos.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Like, I'd seen online, you know, those.
- 27:16Speaker 9: And, like, I found, like, I was at work. So, like,
- 27:21Speaker 9: I thought one of the empty conference rooms was, like, good,
- 27:27Speaker 9: you know, available.
- 27:28Speaker 4: So I was like, cool.
- 27:32Speaker 9: And like just regulate my body and whatever so I
- 27:36Speaker 9: like fully locked the door put my air pods in
- 27:40Speaker 9: and like committed I was like locked in I was
- 27:43Speaker 9: like let's do it so like my arms are flaring
- 27:47Speaker 9: and like my legs were shaking and like my whole
- 27:49Speaker 9: body was vibrating like at one point I was like
- 27:53Speaker 9: bent over making these weird like breathing noises because the
- 27:56Speaker 9: lady on the video kept saying like.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Let it out let it out so I was like
- 28:01Speaker 3: you know doing that and then and then you know
- 28:08Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie like.
- 28:09Speaker 9: When I finished it I like I took my AirPods
- 28:12Speaker 9: off I was like oh.
- 28:13Speaker 5: My god this worked yeah you're probably exhausted yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 9: And I like I felt better like I let it
- 28:20Speaker 9: out until like I heard applause and And, oh, my God,
- 28:25Speaker 9: my heart just dropped.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Because, like, it turns out, like, the.
- 28:28Speaker 9: Conference room had, like, this, you know, kind of, like,
- 28:31Speaker 9: glass wall that turns out to, like, be clear when
- 28:34Speaker 9: the lights are on. And, like, literally there were, like,
- 28:39Speaker 9: about eight of my coworkers just, like.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Standing there.
- 28:42Speaker 9: And, like, apparently they had been watching me the entire time.
- 28:46Speaker 2: You're like, oh, no, I got to start again.
- 28:51Speaker 4: So when you turn the lights on, you can see
- 28:52Speaker 4: through the glass?
- 28:54Speaker 9: But, hey, you know, because it kind of, like, worked
- 28:57Speaker 9: for a second, like, honestly, I still do.
- 29:00Speaker 4: It every day.
- 29:01Speaker 3: But, like, now I hum with the curtains closed.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Sure.
- 29:05Speaker 6: All right, Misha.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Shake that stress out. That's a good way to de-stress.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Thanks for calling in.
- 29:11Speaker 5: Hey, hey.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 29:12Speaker 3: You know, don't knock before you try.
- 29:15Speaker 4: No, no, no. Your scream is great. Thanks for screaming
- 29:17Speaker 4: this morning.
- 29:18Speaker 9: Okay. Thank you, guys.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Clayton, good morning. All right. Does it feel good?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Feels pretty good.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Honestly, though, usually when I'm stressed, I power wash things.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Power wash. It is actually very... satisfying to power wash.
- 29:42Speaker 5: It's crazy how much it feels like you were in
- 29:46Speaker 5: control when you were power washing, right? Like nothing can
- 29:49Speaker 5: get past you that's dirty.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just the sound, like the dirt coming out.
- 29:55Speaker 5: It's just so satisfying.
- 29:56Speaker 4: It's like the, I don't care what it is, the driveway, patio,
- 30:01Speaker 4: trash cans, furniture, outdoor furniture.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I don't care if I'm stressed.
- 30:05Speaker 10: I'll just start blasting dirt off of something.
- 30:08Speaker 4: That's nice. I can see how they can take your
- 30:11Speaker 4: mind off of something. I love it. I haven't done
- 30:14Speaker 4: it in a long time. That's good, Clayton. Thanks for
- 30:15Speaker 4: calling in, man.
- 30:17Speaker 5: All right, thanks.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Good stuff. John Jay and Rich. Hello, Juliet.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Hi, guys. Hi, what's up?
- 30:27Speaker 4: You're on the air.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Oh, I'm just so annoyed. Thanks for letting me vent.
- 30:32Speaker 2: My boyfriend walks around the house naked, like constantly. And
- 30:37Speaker 2: a lot of the time I don't care that much,
- 30:39Speaker 2: but he'll do it when people come over.
- 30:41Speaker 5: What?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Ew.
- 30:43Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 9: What?
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 30:46Speaker 2: So last weekend, my friend came by unexpectedly, and he
- 30:49Speaker 2: just walked into the kitchen naked, grabbed some food, walked
- 30:53Speaker 2: back upstairs.
- 30:54Speaker 5: Guy friend, girlfriend.
- 30:54Speaker 4: My friend. It was a girl.
- 30:57Speaker 6: I mean, does he know your girlfriend doesn't want to
- 30:58Speaker 6: see him naked?
- 30:59Speaker 1: I was going to say, like, my friends would be like,
- 31:01Speaker 1: can you fix him? Because this is weird and gross.
- 31:04Speaker 6: You don't want to keep seeing your boyfriend naked.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I had to apologize. And she's just like, is this normal?
- 31:11Speaker 2: And I'm like, yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 7: And.
- 31:13Speaker 2: He's just like yelled from upstairs, like, you know, have fun.
- 31:18Speaker 2: And like, it's just like if I did that, I
- 31:21Speaker 2: know he'd be livid.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Oh, sure.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Like, so it's just super unfair. And yeah, rude to
- 31:26Speaker 2: my guest.
- 31:27Speaker 7: Unfair.
- 31:30Speaker 8: Unfair to your friend because she had to like unsolicited
- 31:33Speaker 8: see him naked or unfair in what way?
- 31:36Speaker 2: Well, I know if I walked around the place naked,
- 31:39Speaker 2: he'd freak out if any of his guy friends saw
- 31:41Speaker 2: me naked.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Would you, though? Do you feel, like, could you, just
- 31:44Speaker 4: to make a point, are you comfortable being naked? Like,
- 31:47Speaker 4: would you do that? Like, do you want to do that?
- 31:49Speaker 2: I don't really want to, no. It's the principle of
- 31:51Speaker 2: the thing. He does it. You know, like, if you
- 31:54Speaker 2: don't want your guy friends seeing me naked, why is
- 31:57Speaker 2: it cool for my girlfriends to see you naked?
- 31:59Speaker 6: I could see that.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And, right, and, like, yeah, we don't want to see
- 32:03Speaker 2: your stuff.
- 32:04Speaker 4: That's rude.
- 32:04Speaker 5: I had a friend of mine that I set up
- 32:06Speaker 5: with one of Stacy's friends, and I did not know
- 32:09Speaker 5: that he was a walk-around naked guy. At first, I
- 32:13Speaker 5: think she's like, okay, well, he's sitting around having his
- 32:15Speaker 5: coffee in the morning naked. That's a little weird. But
- 32:18Speaker 5: when it really got weird is he would drive to
- 32:20Speaker 5: her house with clothes on, then get naked. And then
- 32:24Speaker 5: go up to the door and ring the doorbell naked.
- 32:26Speaker 4: What?
- 32:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 32:27Speaker 5: And she's like, all right.
- 32:29Speaker 4: He would walk not like, so in their neighborhood be naked.
- 32:31Speaker 4: He's going to get arrested for that.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 8: It's like indecency or something.
- 32:37Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 5: So sometimes.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Thankfully he keeps it to the house.
- 32:40Speaker 5: Sometimes the naked people just want to be.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 5: I thought it was really weird too. And, of course,
- 32:44Speaker 5: I got yelled at for setting them up too. I
- 32:46Speaker 5: didn't know that part.
- 32:47Speaker 4: But when she went out to his house and he
- 32:49Speaker 4: was having coffee naked, did they get intimate? Were they
- 32:51Speaker 4: already intimate?
- 32:52Speaker 5: They were dating.
- 32:52Speaker 4: So he'd been naked in front of her.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Yeah, but at some point, you put your clothes back
- 32:57Speaker 5: on and then you start moving around the house. But
- 32:59Speaker 5: maybe sometimes the naked people just love being naked.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Well, it depends, I think, because I'm a guy who's
- 33:04Speaker 4: very insecure about being naked in front of people. But
- 33:06Speaker 4: let me ask you this, Juliet. Is he gifted in
- 33:09Speaker 4: that area?
- 33:12Speaker 6: Um, I mean, he's fine.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Well, I guess it all depends on.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Who you're playing.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Because if I had, if I was like, if I
- 33:19Speaker 4: was a lot larger, I've seen those guys at the
- 33:21Speaker 4: gym all the time when they're naked and they got
- 33:23Speaker 4: big junk. Yeah, they're big junk. They walk around naked.
- 33:26Speaker 4: I'm like, I get it. I think I would too.
- 33:27Speaker 1: You would want to flaunt it.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Yeah, totally.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Totally.
- 33:29Speaker 6: But that doesn't mean anybody else wants to see it.
- 33:31Speaker 4: It doesn't matter. You're like, yeah, I want people to go, whoa, dude,
- 33:34Speaker 4: you see John Jay's junk? Oh, my God.
- 33:35Speaker 6: He's huge. He's so terrible.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Oh, sorry, man.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Hit the wall.
- 33:39Speaker 4: I wish. It's my dream. But sadly, it's the opposite.
- 33:43Speaker 10: You're coming over here.
- 33:44Speaker 4: I have to cover it up with a sock. A
- 33:47Speaker 4: little sock.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 4: All right, Julie. Well, thanks for sharing that story with us.
- 33:52Speaker 4: We'd love to hear from all nudists.
- 33:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not cool.
- 33:55Speaker 6: There's got to be some sort of etiquette.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I mostly want to hear
- 33:59Speaker 4: from Rich's friend. You see a man's friend, you see
- 34:02Speaker 4: who the man is. Who's the guy you set her
- 34:04Speaker 4: up with? I had no idea.
- 34:08Speaker 5: I truly didn't.
- 34:09Speaker 4: How do you not have an idea when the guy's
- 34:10Speaker 4: walking her door naked? I mean, that's such a weird thing.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I thought it was very bizarre, too, when I heard
- 34:15Speaker 4: him like, what? Like, to be in the front seat
- 34:17Speaker 4: of your car. Like, I grew up surfing, and we
- 34:20Speaker 4: would always get to get dressed outside of the car
- 34:21Speaker 4: and in the car, and it's uncomfortable. So you're already dressed.
- 34:25Speaker 4: To get naked in the front seat of your car
- 34:28Speaker 4: and then go knock on the door. Ring the doorbell
- 34:30Speaker 4: for the date. Yeah, you've got to get him on there.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Get him on there. Juliet, thanks for calling in.
- 34:35Speaker 7: Thanks, guys.
- 34:40Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich. We are like a whole vibe.
- 34:43Speaker 8: I think it's really silly how everything in dating has
- 34:47Speaker 8: to have a term, right? There's a term for everything now.
- 34:50Speaker 8: And this is kind of like the anti-term term in dating.
- 34:55Speaker 8: So there's something called wildflowering that Vogue and relationship experts
- 34:59Speaker 8: have been starting to write about called wildflowering. So this
- 35:03Speaker 8: is where people intentionally let a relationship grow slowly without
- 35:07Speaker 8: immediately forcing labels timeliness or like a where is this
- 35:11Speaker 8: going conversation.
- 35:12Speaker 5: You mean like responsible dating?
- 35:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Well, just sort of like letting things naturally bloom. Like
- 35:17Speaker 6: think about it.
- 35:18Speaker 8: Wildflowers just naturally bloom on their own. And that's like
- 35:20Speaker 8: what they want for the relationship other than like two,
- 35:24Speaker 8: three weeks in going.
- 35:24Speaker 6: So what are we, what are we doing here? Like
- 35:26Speaker 6: what are we trying to do?
- 35:27Speaker 5: What's happening? The DTR, Kyle. Determine a relationship.
- 35:31Speaker 8: But I think the only problem with wildflowering is, is
- 35:33Speaker 8: that some people are, have to figure out where you're going.
- 35:38Speaker 8: So then it creates the how soon is too soon
- 35:41Speaker 8: for different milestones in the relationship. At what point does
- 35:45Speaker 8: the wildflowering need to become.
- 35:47Speaker 6: Labels, right?
- 35:48Speaker 8: So the discussion is how soon is too soon for
- 35:53Speaker 8: the following things? Like how soon is too soon then
- 35:55Speaker 8: to make things exclusive?
- 35:57Speaker 5: Three months.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Way soon.
- 35:58Speaker 6: Way soon.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Too soon.
- 36:00Speaker 5: How soon is too soon?
- 36:01Speaker 8: Three months is too soon to determine the relationship.
- 36:04Speaker 4: To be exclusive, it's too soon.
- 36:05Speaker 1: To be exclusive?
- 36:06Speaker 4: No matter what the time is.
- 36:08Speaker 7: I just feel like it's different because everyone moves at
- 36:11Speaker 7: different speeds.
- 36:12Speaker 8: But I think it would be like too soon for
- 36:15Speaker 8: me would be like second date.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Like, dude, whoa.
- 36:17Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 36:18Speaker 6: Breathe a little bit.
- 36:21Speaker 8: First date or anything before second date.
- 36:23Speaker 5: You know what I mean? A couple of months of
- 36:24Speaker 5: dating because you might not see each other every weekend.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I would say maybe like six weeks.
- 36:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that anything before six weeks, just leave
- 36:32Speaker 6: it alone. Let it wildflower and bloom.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Even putting a time frame on it seems like you're
- 36:36Speaker 4: breaking the wildflowering rules.
- 36:38Speaker 6: And that's what they're saying.
- 36:39Speaker 8: It becomes difficult because then at one point, are you
- 36:42Speaker 8: just wildflowering forever?
- 36:43Speaker 6: Like you have to have these conversations at some point.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Remember it used to be, I think it was like
- 36:48Speaker 4: three dates before a kiss or three days before you
- 36:51Speaker 4: call back.
- 36:52Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Three days. When you're a guy and you go out
- 36:54Speaker 4: with a girl, you don't call her for three days.
- 36:56Speaker 4: Like instead, you know, there's these silly rules, but yeah,
- 36:58Speaker 4: you're right.
- 36:59Speaker 9: Okay.
- 36:59Speaker 4: What else?
- 36:59Speaker 6: So how soon is too soon to meet the parents?
- 37:02Speaker 4: Way soon. I went out with this girl in time
- 37:07Speaker 4: and she was a cheerleader and she, we went on
- 37:09Speaker 4: a date and the next day she's like, Hey, are
- 37:12Speaker 4: you going to come to the game on Friday? My
- 37:13Speaker 4: parents are coming. I want to meet my parents. Whoa!
- 37:16Speaker 7: Freeze!
- 37:17Speaker 9: No!
- 37:17Speaker 6: See, I kind of.
- 37:19Speaker 8: Feel like that one, it should go in tandem with
- 37:21Speaker 8: the first one. Like, you shouldn't meet the parents before
- 37:22Speaker 8: you're exclusive.
- 37:24Speaker 6: Yeah, that's fair. I feel like there's kind of like maybe.
- 37:26Speaker 5: They're going to want to know things. They're going to
- 37:28Speaker 5: ask you questions.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Maybe not an exact timeline, like three weeks, whatever.
- 37:31Speaker 8: But like you should definitely be exclusive at the point
- 37:34Speaker 8: because I went on a first date with a guy
- 37:35Speaker 8: and his parents, like we went to dinner with his
- 37:37Speaker 8: parents and I was like, this feels too soon.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's too soon.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Holy smokes.
- 37:41Speaker 7: I feel like when I was in high school, I
- 37:42Speaker 7: would never bring a guy around for.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Like at least like a year.
- 37:47Speaker 7: But now as I got as older, I think it
- 37:49Speaker 7: probably took like four or five months before my parents
- 37:52Speaker 7: met my husband, Kadeem.
- 37:53Speaker 8: And I'm sure it kind of depends on your family too, right?
- 37:56Speaker 8: Like if you're close with your family, they're probably going to.
- 37:58Speaker 6: Meet the significant other sooner. So how soon is too
- 38:01Speaker 6: soon to post them on Instagram? When do you go
- 38:04Speaker 6: Instagram official?
- 38:05Speaker 4: Are you talking about stories? Like you're on a date?
- 38:07Speaker 4: Put it on stories? Either way.
- 38:09Speaker 8: Because like the stories would be the soft launch, right?
- 38:11Speaker 8: And your feed post would be the hard launch.
- 38:14Speaker 1: It depends how much I like you.
- 38:15Speaker 7: Like truthfully, like if I have to convince myself that
- 38:19Speaker 7: I'm in.
- 38:19Speaker 1: It, it's probably going to take a little bit longer
- 38:21Speaker 1: for you.
- 38:22Speaker 5: Maybe that's a gut check for you if you're into
- 38:24Speaker 5: posting it or not.
- 38:25Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 4: These are fun types of things. I wish that I
- 38:29Speaker 4: wasn't just celebrating my anniversary. It'd be kind of fun
- 38:31Speaker 4: to be single, dating right now. If I was a
- 38:34Speaker 4: single guy on the show, I could say, Kyle, you know,
- 38:36Speaker 4: I'm going to try these out this weekend.
- 38:37Speaker 6: I'll let you know.
- 38:38Speaker 1: You would hate, you would literally hate dating nowadays.
- 38:40Speaker 6: No, I would love this.
- 38:41Speaker 1: It's rough out there.
- 38:42Speaker 8: Like, sending John Jay out, because, like, the next one is, like,
- 38:45Speaker 8: how soon is too soon to, like, leave.
- 38:47Speaker 6: Clothes or a toothbrush at their house?
- 38:49Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 8: And I would just be like, John Jay, your assignment
- 38:52Speaker 8: this weekend is to be like, can I have your
- 38:53Speaker 8: toothbrush for the first time? Just to see the reaction.
- 38:58Speaker 1: It's never too soon if it's me. For them, you're
- 39:00Speaker 1: not leaving your stuff at my house.
- 39:01Speaker 8: I mean, I guess you have to, I guess there
- 39:03Speaker 8: would have to at least.
- 39:04Speaker 6: Be like, this is 100% a recurring thing.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Right, right.
- 39:07Speaker 7: If I'm leaving my toothbrush at your house, it's because
- 39:09Speaker 7: I'm marking my territory.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Okay.
- 39:11Speaker 9: Right.
- 39:12Speaker 5: But if they ask to leave their toothbrush at your house.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going in the trash, babe. Back off.
- 39:15Speaker 5: I need my privacy.
- 39:16Speaker 9: Okay.
- 39:17Speaker 8: And then the last one is, which one should come first?
- 39:20Speaker 8: You should say, I love you or share your location.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sharing my location before I tell you I
- 39:28Speaker 1: love you.
- 39:28Speaker 9: Probably.
- 39:28Speaker 11: I know.
- 39:28Speaker 5: I'd go, I love you way before sharing the location.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Same.
- 39:31Speaker 9: Same.
- 39:31Speaker 4: I don't like the surveillance.
- 39:32Speaker 8: You're not getting that location unless I love you.
- 39:35Speaker 5: I think you're going to be married before that happens.
- 39:38Speaker 4: I have one answer for both those, is I don't
- 39:40Speaker 4: know how.
- 39:41Speaker 5: You don't know how to love?
- 39:42Speaker 4: I don't know how to love. I don't know how
- 39:44Speaker 4: to share my location.
- 39:45Speaker 7: That's what I would say. Right now, I'm going to
- 39:48Speaker 7: request it indefinitely.
- 39:49Speaker 4: And I'm going to keep tabs on you.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 39:53Speaker 4: All right, if you've got any more wildflowering you want
- 39:55Speaker 4: to add to this list, text JJR96893. You guys know
- 40:04Speaker 4: how Arizona State University has created this category for influencers?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:09Speaker 4: I forget what it's called. It's about influencers as a major.
- 40:12Speaker 5: You can major.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Yeah, in influencing. So I put together a little trivia.
- 40:16Speaker 4: But before we, I tell you the trivia. It's dog
- 40:19Speaker 4: shot color trivia. So we've got to bust out the
- 40:21Speaker 4: dog shot color. We haven't done it.
- 40:22Speaker 6: No!
- 40:23Speaker 1: I'm scared.
- 40:24Speaker 4: So this is the way it's going to work. Whoever
- 40:26Speaker 4: gets the most wrong has to put the dog shot
- 40:28Speaker 4: color on. If you guys get them all right, then
- 40:31Speaker 4: I've got to put the dog shot color on and
- 40:32Speaker 4: sing a song.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I feel like this is unfair advantage for you.
- 40:34Speaker 4: So this is influencer trivia. Influencer history. Okay?
- 40:38Speaker 8: Okay.
- 40:39Speaker 4: All right. So here's my game.
- 40:41Speaker 5: It's Friday and John just got a game for you.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Hey, this beauty influencer... Turn the phrase, get ready with me,
- 40:50Speaker 4: into a major part of her brand. She has a
- 40:52Speaker 4: Netflix show.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Alex Earl.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Yes. Kyle, this skateboarding filmmaker helped change what a YouTube
- 41:00Speaker 4: vlog looked like with highly produced videos about his everyday life.
- 41:05Speaker 4: He later sold his video sharing company to CNN. You
- 41:09Speaker 4: will not get it. There's no way in hell.
- 41:11Speaker 6: Rob Dyrden.
- 41:13Speaker 12: No.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Anybody know?
- 41:14Speaker 5: Tony Hawk.
- 41:15Speaker 9: Nope.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Casey Nassat.
- 41:17Speaker 6: Yep, would never have gotten that.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Rich, the original Kardashian who made the sex video with
- 41:24Speaker 4: Ray J. Kim. It's a little bit harder than Kyle's question. Peyton,
- 41:30Speaker 4: the influencer fought Mike Tyson.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Oh, that's Jake Paul.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Yes. Kyle, this TikTok star became the most followed person
- 41:37Speaker 4: on the platform after her viral dance videos took over
- 41:40Speaker 4: in 2019. She lost the title in 2022.
- 41:46Speaker 1: You know this one.
- 41:46Speaker 6: Do I know this one?
- 41:47Speaker 4: Payton, demerit. Interrupting.
- 41:49Speaker 6: No, I don't.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 41:50Speaker 6: I don't want two demerits.
- 41:52Speaker 4: No, not you. Well, you're going to get two, but Payton's.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Going to have one because that's it.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Okay.
- 41:57Speaker 1: 2019.
- 41:57Speaker 8: And then she lost it in 2020 via JoJo Siwa.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Incorrect. Payton, I will release your demerit if you know
- 42:06Speaker 4: the answer, but you get another demerit if you get
- 42:08Speaker 4: it wrong.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Charlie D'Amelio.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Yes, you're right.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 42:10Speaker 6: Dang it. I did know that.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Rich, this podcast star is Taylor Swift's sister-in-law.
- 42:17Speaker 5: This podcast? Oh, it is the Kelsey, but I forgot
- 42:23Speaker 5: what her first name is.
- 42:24Speaker 4: That's important.
- 42:25Speaker 5: Jason Kelsey's wife. Is it like Maria?
- 42:29Speaker 4: No.
- 42:29Speaker 5: Is it Jenny?
- 42:30Speaker 4: It's an answer.
- 42:32Speaker 5: Jenny Kelsey.
- 42:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry. That's incorrect. Yes, Kyle.
- 42:35Speaker 6: Made a deleted demerit. It's Kylie Kelsey.
- 42:38Speaker 5: It's Kylie Kelsey.
- 42:39Speaker 4: So then right now you only have one demerit.
- 42:40Speaker 9: Yes.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Peyton, this personal growth guru is known for the let
- 42:46Speaker 4: them theory.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I hated that book. Stupid Mel Robbins.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Yes, Mel Robbins. Kyle, this influencer in 2003 took a
- 42:54Speaker 4: sex video, turned it into a career opportunity with a
- 42:56Speaker 4: reality show, The Simple Life with Nicole Richie.
- 42:59Speaker 6: Who is Paris Hilton?
- 43:00Speaker 4: Yes. Rich, known for his over-the-top YouTube challenges and his
- 43:04Speaker 4: philanthropic stunts, this influencer once recreated Squid Game in real life.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Mr.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Beast.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Mr. Beast.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Mr.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Beast.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Peyton, she started with dance videos on TikTok, but quickly
- 43:14Speaker 4: became a global celebrity, released her own music, and starred
- 43:17Speaker 4: in a Netflix movie.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Addison Rae.
- 43:19Speaker 4: Yes. Kyle, I will be very impressed if you get this.
- 43:25Speaker 4: This LSU athlete is famous for becoming one of the
- 43:27Speaker 4: most followed and highest earning college athletes in history through
- 43:30Speaker 4: a combination of elite gymnastics and massive social media stardom.
- 43:35Speaker 6: Madison Owens.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Peyton?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Libby Dunn.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Kyle, back to two Damaris. Rich, this YouTuber is known
- 43:43Speaker 4: for his comedic fast-cut vlogs and his infamous vlog squad,
- 43:47Speaker 4: though he faced some controversy over the years. Jersky?
- 43:50Speaker 1: No.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Who?
- 43:52Speaker 4: It's a pizza place in L.A. I've been there.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Nobody?
- 43:54Speaker 4: Dave Dober.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Dave Dober.
- 43:57Speaker 1: He's canceled, I think.
- 43:59Speaker 4: You know what? And that's enough. There's a lot more,
- 44:01Speaker 4: but I'm not. That's enough. That's enough. Because Kyle's down two.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Rich got one. So that means Kyle's going to put
- 44:06Speaker 4: the dog shock collar on. Rich got two of them.
- 44:09Speaker 4: A duet?
- 44:09Speaker 1: All right.
- 44:09Speaker 6: All right.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Then a duet then.
- 44:11Speaker 6: What are we duetting, Richard?
- 44:13Speaker 5: What's an influencer song? What about a Rebecca Black Friday?
- 44:16Speaker 5: That started off as a.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 6: That's good.
- 44:19Speaker 5: Going into the weekend anyway.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Bring out the other dog shock collars. We'll put them on.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Fine. Oh, you want to do a duet or I
- 44:24Speaker 4: was going to say a tiebreaker?
- 44:26Speaker 9: Oh.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Duet or tiebreaker? You guys pick.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I mean, I'll suffer.
- 44:30Speaker 9: Do the tag.
- 44:30Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I don't think any of you guys are getting any
- 44:33Speaker 4: of this right. So, never mind. So, just do a duet.
- 44:36Speaker 4: 7 a.m.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Waking up in the morning. Gotta be fresh.
- 44:40Speaker 6: Gotta go downstairs. Gotta have my bowl. Gotta have cereal.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Seeing everything.
- 44:45Speaker 6: The time is going.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Ticking on and on. Everybody's rushing.
- 44:48Speaker 6: Gotta get down to the bus stop.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Gotta catch my bus.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I see my friends.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Kicking in the front seat.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Kicking in the back seat. It's Friday, Friday.
- 45:07Speaker 6: Gotta get down on Friday.
- 45:10Speaker 5: Everybody's listening for the... Ow!
- 45:13Speaker 12: Son of a.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Ow!
- 45:15Speaker 2: Ow!
- 45:16Speaker 1: Ow!
- 45:17Speaker 5: Wait, wait, wait!
- 45:19Speaker 7: What?
- 45:20Speaker 3: Ow!
- 45:21Speaker 4: Very good, very good. There, and that's my game.
- 45:23Speaker 6: I don't like it.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 45:28Speaker 6: I don't want this.
- 45:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:34Speaker 4: I'm going to go over something that I have not
- 45:49Speaker 4: pre-read because the title of the article I feel speaks
- 45:54Speaker 4: to me and other people.
- 45:56Speaker 7: Okay.
- 45:56Speaker 6: What does it say?
- 45:57Speaker 4: People who ignore calls and forget to text back usually
- 46:01Speaker 4: have these nine distinct personality traits.
- 46:05Speaker 5: Interesting. Okay.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:08Speaker 4: I never call back.
- 46:09Speaker 8: Okay, I was like, do you feel like this applies
- 46:11Speaker 8: to you or are you calling out people that do
- 46:12Speaker 8: this to you?
- 46:13Speaker 4: I haven't read it.
- 46:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:14Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. It could be brutal. It could
- 46:17Speaker 4: be awesome. Okay. Most of these tests that we take
- 46:19Speaker 4: or that I go over usually have me highlighted as
- 46:22Speaker 4: a super genius.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 46:24Speaker 4: And I swear to God, I have not looked at this.
- 46:26Speaker 4: So you'll have to forgive me for my reading if
- 46:28Speaker 4: I'm reading it.
- 46:29Speaker 5: What you're saying to us all is this headline. speaks
- 46:31Speaker 5: to you.
- 46:32Speaker 4: The headline, I was like, man, I do, like, what
- 46:34Speaker 4: if it goes, he's a serial, they're serial killers.
- 46:37Speaker 9: Right.
- 46:37Speaker 6: Like, you're like, oh, that headline is me. I'd like
- 46:39Speaker 6: to see what traits do I have.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Right. Like, I saw this thing one time that said,
- 46:42Speaker 4: people who drink coffee black with no sugar, nothing, are
- 46:45Speaker 4: serial killers.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Really?
- 46:47Speaker 1: That's what the energy they get.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Here we go. People who ignore calls and forget to
- 46:52Speaker 4: text back have these nine personality traits. So, if this
- 46:55Speaker 4: is you, number one, they are selective. In a busy,
- 46:59Speaker 4: over-connected world, you either run yourself ragged or make an
- 47:02Speaker 4: intentional choice to prioritize your interactions. That's what people who
- 47:05Speaker 4: ignore calls and forget to text back certainly do. Studies
- 47:08Speaker 4: show some people who identify as introverts live intentionally. They
- 47:12Speaker 4: practice discernment with how they choose to spend their time.
- 47:15Speaker 4: This doesn't mean they're purposely ignoring people in their life.
- 47:18Speaker 4: It's something, it's time-sensitive or they're locked in on a task.
- 47:21Speaker 4: They can put those things ahead of checking their phones.
- 47:24Speaker 6: Okay, I can see that's not necessarily a bad thing.
- 47:26Speaker 4: I agree with that. Number two. They are easily distracted.
- 47:32Speaker 5: That's you.
- 47:33Speaker 4: Yeah, 100%. Number three, they are perfectionists. If someone holds
- 47:38Speaker 4: themselves to ridiculous high standards, they're likely a perfectionist. They
- 47:41Speaker 4: set goals that may be unattainable. It drives them to
- 47:44Speaker 4: accomplish everything they can, which can affect whether they text
- 47:46Speaker 4: someone back or not. Okay.
- 47:48Speaker 5: That's interesting because, you know, my wife's not a call
- 47:50Speaker 5: me backer, and she fits those categories.
- 47:53Speaker 4: They are easily overwhelmed. Oh yeah. We are all juggling
- 47:56Speaker 4: a long list of responsibilities from our friends and family
- 47:58Speaker 4: to careers and activities. We're constantly being pulled in different directions.
- 48:01Speaker 4: Manage your own feelings is a hard task. When we
- 48:04Speaker 4: add in other people's, it can feel overwhelming.
- 48:07Speaker 6: You can't do everything.
- 48:10Speaker 4: They have anxiety. Younger generations are struggling with talking on
- 48:14Speaker 4: the phone. It's an actual phobia called telephobia. It's making
- 48:17Speaker 4: them avoid calls entirely.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Weird. Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 5: That sounds weird to me.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 4: They can be lazy. That's me. I totally feel lazy.
- 48:26Speaker 4: We often don't have patience for people who come across
- 48:28Speaker 4: as lazy. It can be frustrating when you want to
- 48:29Speaker 4: hear from someone, but they don't want to put in
- 48:31Speaker 4: the effort to reply. That's a big one for me.
- 48:33Speaker 4: I don't want to call them back.
- 48:34Speaker 5: Well, sometimes when you get a text message, they're just
- 48:37Speaker 5: telling you something. You don't need to reply to it.
- 48:39Speaker 5: You've already seen what they're saying. So you're good.
- 48:42Speaker 7: Do you think that this applies to the people who
- 48:44Speaker 7: read text messages and then forget to text back too?
- 48:47Speaker 4: I don't know if it says people who ignore calls
- 48:49Speaker 4: and forget to text back. They have these nine characteristics.
- 48:55Speaker 4: They are hardworking. Our phones are little distractions in our pocket.
- 48:59Speaker 4: One breaks from scrolling can turn into a detour that
- 49:01Speaker 4: makes completing a task even more difficult. That's true. Sometimes
- 49:04Speaker 4: I'll be out there and I'm like, oh my God,
- 49:05Speaker 4: I can't believe it's been 20 minutes. I could have
- 49:07Speaker 4: done this.
- 49:08Speaker 5: That's true.
- 49:08Speaker 4: They are private. Texting can put a strain on our
- 49:10Speaker 4: relationships while it can be beneficial allowing us to talk
- 49:12Speaker 4: to people from anywhere at any time. It can decrease
- 49:15Speaker 4: the quality of our conversations. This can make private individuals struggle.
- 49:20Speaker 4: They may not want to be available to others 24-7.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Here's another thing. They don't do well under pressure. Some
- 49:26Speaker 4: texts and phone calls are urgent. The person on the
- 49:28Speaker 4: other end needs to get in touch with you for
- 49:30Speaker 4: whatever reason, and you feel pressure to reply. Psychology has
- 49:33Speaker 4: shown that humans don't always work well under those circumstances.
- 49:36Speaker 4: We can overthink situations. What we're saying or feel nervous about, failure.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Some people can feel the pressure even over the phone.
- 49:43Speaker 4: When this happens, we can perform below what we know
- 49:45Speaker 4: we are capable of. Instead of tackling that challenge, they
- 49:48Speaker 4: avoid calls or ignore texts to prevent that feeling entirely.
- 49:51Speaker 5: Do you think those are the same people that refuse
- 49:53Speaker 5: to answer the door when the doorbell rings too because
- 49:55Speaker 5: they don't want that confrontation?
- 49:58Speaker 6: You know, avoiding serial killers.
- 50:00Speaker 4: If you remember, I dismantled my doorbell.
- 50:03Speaker 5: You're even extra. You took out your doorbell. Ding dong.
- 50:06Speaker 4: Take out my doorbell. The only way I go to
- 50:07Speaker 4: the door is when I hear my dogs go crazy
- 50:10Speaker 4: and I'm like, someone must be at the door. I
- 50:11Speaker 4: better go. I don't have never ignored him with the
- 50:13Speaker 4: door except for Christmas carolers.
- 50:15Speaker 5: They just want to carol.
- 50:17Speaker 4: You're out of line.
- 50:17Speaker 1: They just want to spread cheer.
- 50:19Speaker 6: The best way to spread Christmas cheer.
- 50:21Speaker 4: John Jay removed his doorbell.
- 50:22Speaker 6: So he won't carol with us.
- 50:23Speaker 3: We will.
- 50:25Speaker 12: Carol without him and spread our holiday cheer.
- 50:38Speaker 11: Bro, I rang the doorbell at this fancy house. And
- 50:40Speaker 11: no joke, dozens of dogs came barking and the doorbell
- 50:43Speaker 11: never even made a noise. I started to sing Jingle
- 50:45Speaker 11: Bell Rock, and Bro turned the lights off and went
- 50:47Speaker 11: back to watching Ted Lasso.
- 50:49Speaker 4: I consider myself a go-with-the-flow guy.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Shut up!
- 50:53Speaker 4: Yes, you have. We can confirm that.
- 51:05Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 51:06Speaker 4: I think I do go with the.
- 51:11Speaker 7: You're going to make me pay.
- 51:14Speaker 5: You're going to stop.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Stop.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Shut up.
- 51:28Speaker 1: I heart radio with a world premiere.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Hey, it's Taylor Swift.
- 51:31Speaker 4: From her album.
- 51:32Speaker 1: The life of a showgirl.
- 51:33Speaker 4: The encore out now. This is patient zero.
- 51:36Speaker 1: That is patient zero from Taylor Swift. Brand spanking new.
- 51:43Speaker 6: Kyle Payton, what do you guys think? It's fun.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I mean, it's definitely Taylor Swift.
- 51:59Speaker 7: What I'm really loving, which we're going to get into
- 52:01Speaker 7: it pretty soon with New Music Friday, but I'm really
- 52:03Speaker 7: loving like some of the Easter eggs from the video
- 52:05Speaker 7: and what the Swifties are decoding.
- 52:07Speaker 6: I know. I can't wait to break that down. I
- 52:10Speaker 6: feel like it sounds a little bit like Welcome to
- 52:12Speaker 6: New York.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Oh, that's what it does.
- 52:14Speaker 6: I was like, oh, that sounds very familiar.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Secret Life of Pets.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 52:19Speaker 8: But like in Taylor Swift's new where she has gone
- 52:23Speaker 8: to in her life now, you know, I like it.
- 52:25Speaker 6: I like it.
- 52:26Speaker 5: I do too. Okay. In the meantime. John Jay and Rich,
- 52:29Speaker 5: Caller 100. We are looking for Caller 104. John Jay
- 52:32Speaker 5: and Rich, Caller 101. Tickets to Disney.
- 52:34Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich, your Caller 102. John Jay and Gritch.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Caller 103.
- 52:42Speaker 5: John Jay and the Gritch. You are just distracting me.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Hey, Rich. Yes.
- 52:48Speaker 5: Caller 104 is on line 100.
- 52:50Speaker 4: Hooray.
- 52:52Speaker 9: Wow.
- 52:53Speaker 5: Seems like every time we do this contest, we get
- 52:54Speaker 5: a bunch more lines, guys. All right. Caller 104 for Disney.
- 53:01Speaker 5: Let's say hello. Hello. This is Kiss 1047.
- 53:04Speaker 4: Phoenix, who's this?
- 53:09Speaker 3: Isabel?
- 53:10Speaker 5: Isabel, you are color 104. Now you know that's only
- 53:19Speaker 5: half of it. This is exciting. Okay, so here's what
- 53:25Speaker 5: we need. If you've been listening to Kiss, then you
- 53:28Speaker 5: probably have heard that we've been giving away magic words.
- 53:32Speaker 5: If you have three of the magic words, then you win.
- 53:36Speaker 5: But let's go one at a time. Let's take our time.
- 53:39Speaker 9: Okay.
- 53:39Speaker 5: Isabel, give me the first magic word.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Graveyard.
- 53:44Speaker 1: That's one.
- 53:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Season.
- 53:49Speaker 6: Season is one of them.
- 53:52Speaker 5: And for the win, give me a third magic word.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Witch.
- 53:57Speaker 12: Yay!
- 53:57Speaker 5: There you go! Tell her what she wins, Kyle. You
- 54:03Speaker 5: did it.
- 54:04Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh, Isabel.
- 54:06Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 54:07Speaker 3: My daughter's going to be so happy.
- 54:10Speaker 8: I'm so excited for you. You just got four two-day,
- 54:13Speaker 8: one park-per-day passes. And, Isabel, you are qualified for the
- 54:17Speaker 8: grand prize Disney vacation for three-day, one park-per-day passes and
- 54:21Speaker 8: hotel at the Disneyland Resort.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Thank you guys so much.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Yay, I'm so happy for you.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Now you can finally exhale. I can tell that you've
- 54:31Speaker 5: been holding your breath this whole time.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I have, I have.
- 54:35Speaker 5: How old's your daughter?
- 54:38Speaker 9: She is 12.
- 54:39Speaker 5: Oh, she's right in the money zone.
- 54:40Speaker 1: She's going to be trying to ditch you, though. She's like, bye, Mom.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I'm going to go have fun.
- 54:43Speaker 6: No, you guys will ride rides.
- 54:46Speaker 10: Oh, yeah, you're definitely right.
- 54:47Speaker 5: I mean, it's cool any time, but when they're two,
- 54:49Speaker 5: I don't know if they remember everything. When you're 12.
- 54:51Speaker 1: You get the cute pictures, though.
- 54:53Speaker 5: Yes, but when you're 12, that's a lifetime memory right there.
- 54:55Speaker 7: Right, you get to go back to school and tell
- 54:56Speaker 7: all your friends about how you got to go.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:59Speaker 6: And it's like, you went to Disneyland?
- 55:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:02Speaker 5: So great, Isabel. Hang on the line. Don't go away.
- 55:04Speaker 5: Don't go away. We'll get all your information. Congratulations. And
- 55:09Speaker 5: you are, of course, in the hopper for the grand prize, too.
- 55:12Speaker 5: Very exciting stuff.
- 55:14Speaker 6: We are going to give away that grand prize Monday morning,
- 55:16Speaker 6: right around this time.
- 55:18Speaker 5: Could be you.
- 55:18Speaker 6: Could be you.
- 55:19Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I hope it's me.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Have a beautiful weekend. What do we got coming up
- 55:25Speaker 5: on the GBG?
- 55:26Speaker 8: We are going to break down Taylor Swift's four new songs.
- 55:29Speaker 8: It's New Music Friday with John Jane Rich.
- 55:41Speaker 5: This is John Jay and Rich. We are looking to
- 55:44Speaker 5: just freely give away $ 1, 000. It's so easy to win.
- 55:49Speaker 5: Is it not, Peyton?
- 55:50Speaker 1: Oh, so easy-ish. I mean, until the pressure gets to you.
- 55:52Speaker 5: We call it minutes to win it. We are looking
- 55:54Speaker 5: for a phone caller right now. A contestant, 877-937-1047 is
- 55:57Speaker 5: our phone number. This could be you. But until then,
- 55:59Speaker 5: we are... Interested in new music. What's going on with
- 56:07Speaker 5: new music today?
- 56:08Speaker 7: Well, Taylor Swift, she has officially dropped the life of
- 56:11Speaker 7: a showgirl, the encore. So there is four new brand
- 56:15Speaker 7: new tracks. Patient Zero is one that she's been teasing.
- 56:18Speaker 7: That is the one that she has posted kind of
- 56:20Speaker 7: the teaser music video.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Playing it all morning.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that we're going to.
- 56:23Speaker 7: Be able to see the actual full music video on
- 56:26Speaker 7: Sunday at the VMA starring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
- 56:29Speaker 1: But we have been playing it all morning, but here's
- 56:31Speaker 1: a little clip.
- 56:44Speaker 12: They'll hold you by the dot and let it go.
- 56:50Speaker 1: But if you're sick of him, I got you.
- 56:53Speaker 3: I was patient zero.
- 56:54Speaker 8: Okay, so Swifties have like... But like, is this about
- 56:58Speaker 8: Joe Jonas? Because Sophie Turner dated Joe Jonas afterwards and
- 57:01Speaker 8: they're very good friends. And this is a song about
- 57:05Speaker 8: the phone call she got from Sophie when things were
- 57:08Speaker 8: not going well between her and Joe Jonas.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Oh, I didn't even get that deep.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's one of the fan theories of
- 57:14Speaker 6: what the song could possibly be about.
- 57:16Speaker 7: Exactly, because kind of that line where she says devil
- 57:19Speaker 7: under his halo is kind of like giving the vibe
- 57:22Speaker 7: of this man is stealing the shine of the women
- 57:24Speaker 7: around him.
- 57:25Speaker 1: So yeah, they're definitely.
- 57:26Speaker 7: speculating joe jonas and sophie turner so we will i
- 57:30Speaker 7: mean we'll never know but it's always fun to speculate
- 57:32Speaker 7: i know okay.
- 57:33Speaker 8: What i love about the teaser for the music video
- 57:36Speaker 8: that she dropped for patient zero is it's exactly 13
- 57:39Speaker 8: seconds that alone is so taylor swift calculated. But in
- 57:44Speaker 8: just 13 seconds, Swifties have already broken down so many
- 57:49Speaker 8: little details in that teaser. So you've got Taylor Swift
- 57:53Speaker 8: and Dakota Johnson, and they are, they are dressed to
- 57:55Speaker 8: the T.
- 57:56Speaker 6: They look exactly the same.
- 57:57Speaker 8: Some, some are saying it's maybe symbolizing two different versions
- 58:00Speaker 8: of the same person. And then in that, in that teaser,
- 58:05Speaker 8: you see Taylor Swift washing her hands in the bathroom.
- 58:07Speaker 8: You see her trying to like cleanse herself. There's like two,
- 58:10Speaker 8: two swimmers that dive across each other. And they're saying
- 58:13Speaker 8: that that is like cleansing yourself of the old you
- 58:15Speaker 8: and like a rebirth type situation. Then a lot of
- 58:18Speaker 8: Swifties were breaking down the imagery that was shown at
- 58:22Speaker 8: the graveyard. There's two different graveyard images. There's one that's
- 58:25Speaker 8: really snowy. And a lot of people really dug into
- 58:28Speaker 8: this picture on the grave. You can actually somewhat read
- 58:33Speaker 8: something daughter and gone too soon.
- 58:36Speaker 6: The whole imagery kind of looks like a look what
- 58:38Speaker 6: you made me do.
- 58:38Speaker 8: Callback, which some people are excited about because like everyone's
- 58:41Speaker 8: waiting for that reputation. Don't know if that means she's
- 58:45Speaker 8: going to rerecord the songs. But on the grave is
- 58:48Speaker 8: the date 1986 to 2022. And so everyone's like, OK, well,
- 58:52Speaker 8: obviously we know Taylor Swift was born in 1986 and
- 58:57Speaker 8: 2022 was the Midnight's era. So the biggest theory we're
- 58:59Speaker 8: seeing about that is that that grave is the old
- 59:01Speaker 8: version of Taylor and she is putting that to rest.
- 59:04Speaker 8: because she is now moving onward and upward. A lot
- 59:06Speaker 8: of people are wondering, okay, what's the significance of Colin
- 59:10Speaker 8: Farrell in the music video?
- 59:12Speaker 6: Well, he was friends with Elizabeth Taylor. You know, she's
- 59:14Speaker 6: got a song called Elizabeth Taylor. There's the connection.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Oh.
- 59:18Speaker 8: Do you remember in the Emmy sketch, she looked at
- 59:21Speaker 8: the camera and she said, saccharides, Aries, like all these
- 59:24Speaker 8: different words. Well, people have already broken down in just
- 59:26Speaker 8: that 13 second teaser what those were. She said North
- 59:30Speaker 8: and South. And if you look at the map of America,
- 59:32Speaker 8: it's North and South Dakota.
- 59:33Speaker 6: There's Dakota Johnson.
- 59:34Speaker 8: Saccharides was hinting towards Colin Farrell because his Apple TV
- 59:38Speaker 8: show is called Sugar. Oh my gosh, that is insane.
- 59:44Speaker 8: There's an image in the music video where it looks
- 59:48Speaker 8: as if it's Dakota Johnson and Taylor Swift standing next
- 59:50Speaker 8: to a statue and they're saying that statue is Aries.
- 59:54Speaker 6: Which was in there as well. I was like, there
- 59:57Speaker 6: are so many things that have already been broken down.
- 59:59Speaker 8: I can't imagine all of the Swifty homework that's going
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: to be done Sunday night when we see the whole thing.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: But there wasn't much homework that had to be done
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: when Taylor Swift, when she dropped a song called Cleveland. Oh,
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: that's cute.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So cute. And obviously about her new hubby, Travis Kelsey.
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: And a lot of the song talks about like all
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: the crap people have said about her. And she's like,
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: but he likes me anyway. Like he likes me for me.
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: And so, you know, kick rocks.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Like who cares?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Cause I know that there's been a lot of speculation
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: that like Travis Kelsey, that Taylor Swift was never really
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: ever his type per se. But at the end of
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: the day, like if you like someone or you love someone,
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: your type can change. So I'm fine with that, and
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: I love that she's like, now I'm wearing white, so
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: hate all you like.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Like, who cares? I'm the one that has the ring
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: on my finger, and that's that.
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: I love it.
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: That song is so cute and catchy.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely. This one's called Pink Cloudy.
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: Not really like a musical departure for her from some
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: of her style. I kind of get why they weren't
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: on the real album. But it's kind of cool.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: It is the real album.
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: She saved the best for last.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: She even said it.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: In her music video.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: Maybe they weren't like, you know, on the first round.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: But it's enjoyable. It's like, yeah, thanks for putting them
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: out because they're good songs.
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: Fans actually think that that song is a Tom Hiddleston
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: apology letter.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: Basically a follow up to Getaway Car basically saying like, yeah,
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: she probably jumped into something when she was already emotionally wrecked.
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: I've seen where it's just like she feels like maybe
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: she mistreated someone in this situation.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: But I saw also a little bit of Joe Alwyn
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in the in the speculation.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: There is like debate. Like, is it Joe Alwyn or
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: is it Tom Hiddleston?
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I mean, we don't know.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: I feel like the Swifties don't like Joe Alwyn. So
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: they're going Tom Hiddleston.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Yeah. Sure.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Say sorry to him.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: We're OK with that. And then to kind of wrap
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: it up, she dropped to Babylon.
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: She'll wake up on the train with your headphones gone
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: And that melody is all you want You never knew
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: that it was Bible law.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: This is my favorite of the new songs.
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: Yeah, it's definitely a lot more nostalgic. It's kind of
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: just a reflection of.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Her leaving her smaller town and her, you know, older
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: relationships and just moving forward.
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: Yeah, I think people are like saying it's it's kind
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: of one of those, you know, how Taylor Swift likes
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: to write stories as well. And I think that this
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: one's a story about someone who's always chasing freedom and
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: chasing the next best thing and then realizing like, oh,
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: it's like my family was it all along.
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: I truly love how Taylor just keeps us all on
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: our toes. So the songs that she dropped was Patient Zero, Cleveland,
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: Pink Clouding, and Babylon.
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: Let's try to give away some money.
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: Peoria Ford right now.
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: Minute to win it.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Okay, Adrienne, you are up. It is your time for
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: Minute to Win It. What you doing right now?
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: I'm on my way to work, hoping to win it.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: Yay!
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: You got this. You've got 60 seconds on the clock.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: You get all 10 totally right, and you win $ 1, 000
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: of Pat Hickey's money from Peoria Ford. Let's go. What
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: HBO drama series follows New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano?
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: John Dean Rich has won.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: The Sopranos.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: Link is the hero of what video game series?
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: Link is.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: Oh, shoot.
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: Um.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Pass.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: I'll go back to that one.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: Can't go back. Got to answer it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Okay. Link. Oof.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: God.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Link.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Dang, I'm drawing a blank.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: I have no idea.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: Might as well take a guess at a big video game.
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: It's a big one.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: I know it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: Run it out of time.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Dragon Ball.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Whatever. Dragon Ball.
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: It's going to be wrong.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: At least you threw one out there, though. I believe
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: it's The Legend of Zelda.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Legend of Zelda is correct.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: That's it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: No, you said it. Such a bummer.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: Isn't that the worst when you're like, I have that
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: information in my brain.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: It's just not giving me access to it.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Sorry about that. I have all these random things in
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: my head all the time, and I'm like, oh, I'm
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: ready for this. But when you're on it, and then
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: it's just the pressure of being like, Staring at a wall.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: Well, you don't leave empty handed. So that's good. We're
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: going to set you up with some Del Taco because
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: we love you so much.
- 1:05:09Speaker 11: Oh, awesome.
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: So hold on the line. By the way, Kanye West
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: coming to the Valley in November. And if you can
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: win imposter. You're headed to the show. 877-937-1047 to play
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: after Dominic Fike.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: You know how we all like psychics and mediums and stuff? Yeah. Okay,
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: so there's this website called medium.com. And I think that's
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: what medium.com is. I don't even know what medium.com is.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: I've never been.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Maybe it's not. Can someone go to medium.com?
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm going right now.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: I just saw this link that took, I just read
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: the article from medium.com.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: Oh, it's a membership thing.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Oh, pass.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Anyway, good. Well, I had this article. So there's a
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: woman at medium.com and she says that once a romantic
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: relationship ends, an ex should essentially become a stranger. The
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: article is called why I treat my exes like they
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: are dead.
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Like they're dead. Okay. She believes moving forward means cutting
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: off unnecessary updates, check-ins, emotional ties to someone who was
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: once deeply important. The belief is reinforced that when a
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: married ex continues to text just to catch up, that's bad.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: Yeah, because that's intrusive to your new relationship.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Yes. So this is her rule. Unless there's a practical
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: reason to stay connected, such as co-parenting, former partners don't
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: need your made friends or acquaintances.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: I think you got to limit your access and just
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: keep the thing the thing.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: Here are tips for getting closure. Don't keep soft, low-stakes contact, quote,
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: just to be polite. This includes random how-are-you texts, birthday
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: text messages, or check-in is just as friends. Don't do that.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: Even when the messages are harmless, they keep a faint
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: emotional thread alive.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: Okay, and here's what's interesting is when you hear medium,
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: you think medium and psychic, but apparently it's not. It is, okay,
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: here anyone can share knowledge and wisdom with the world
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: without having to build a mailing list or following first.
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: So it's kind of like a little.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Bit of everything.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Well, because the article said, Treat my exes like they're dead.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: So I thought.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: No, I mean, I totally would have assumed that.
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: So anyway, here are things to do. These are tips
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: for getting closure after a breakup. Don't use mutual friends
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: as information sources. So asking, have you heard how they're doing?
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Sometimes that's hard not to do that.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: I'm telling you, turn your social circle into a low-level
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: surveillance system. Don't do that. Don't leave digital remnants that
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: keep them vivid. You don't have to delete everything overnight,
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: but if those things still hit you in the chest
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: when you stumble across them, they're not neutral. They're anchors.
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: So get rid of them.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: I feel like sometimes like on Facebook memories, I run
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: into that because especially in college, I would post like
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: all the albums and I have like an X on there.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: And every time it comes up, I'm like, delete. I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: don't need you on here.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: Don't reach out for closure months or years later. The
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: desire for one explanation or one more chance to be
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: understood is extremely common. Most of the time. though it
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: just reopens a wound that was starting to close. Closure
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: is something you give yourself. Don't keep them in your conversations,
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: especially if you're dating someone new. Stop bringing them up.
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: Don't mention what they did, how they were, or what
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: went wrong. Treat that chapter like a part of your
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: life you no longer need to narrate.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: Closure is something you give yourself.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Close the door, Kyle. I promise there's more. Close the door.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: That's another one that says.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: No, I, I think that's so, I like relate to
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: that because there was this person that I dated.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: It was like on and off for years and years
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: and years.
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: I think I was always waiting for him to give
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: me closure, but it wasn't until I closed the door that.
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: It was really over.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: Was it Mason?
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: I love that guy.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: He's a great guy.
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: I think he's a great husband now to someone else.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: He's married?
- 1:08:44Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: But you know what this kind of says?
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Hey, you gotta see this guy. Every once in a
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: while a picture pops up. I have a picture of
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: Kyle sitting in his lap.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, yeah. And every time it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Pops up I go, damn.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I would like to see what he looks like just
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: for my own.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: He looks like Captain America.
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: He looks like my past.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Wife look like?
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Is she nice?
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Like, Kyle, she closes the door.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: She doesn't go and stalk her ex, which is normal. Okay,
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: but this does make me wonder, and this is specifically like...
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: What if you're trying to heal and you're doing all
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: of this stuff to close the door, but then the
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: person is still being persistent? It's like you block their
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: number and then they email you or then they call
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: your mom.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: I have a friend that's going through that right now
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: and I'm like feeling for her because I'm like, she
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: is really trying to move on and this dude just
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: won't let it go.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: That's literally Taylor, Frankie, Paul and- Yeah.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: Oh, my God. Well, here's the last one on this list.
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: She won't stop.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: Here's the last one on the list on how to
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: get closure. She says, I don't hate my exes. I
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: just let them go.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Unless they deserve to be hated.
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: I don't wish my exes harm, but I don't wish
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: them anything either. They're simply people I used to know.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Once I say goodbye, I mean it.
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: Can't you just wish them well?
- 1:09:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: You're just somebody that I used to know.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I guess I'm not mature enough for that.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: You want to wish them harm?
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: Just wish them well.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Maybe sprain your ankle or something.
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: A high ankle sprain.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Good morning, Denise.
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: Hello.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: All right, so you are playing for Kanye Tickets.
- 1:10:08Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: All right, what are you doing right now? What part
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: of town.
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: Are you in?
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: I'm on the 202, about to get on.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: The 10 right now.
- 1:10:15Speaker 11: Since you like to be very specific.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: I do, I do. Can you drive and play? Are
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: you going to be okay driving and playing, or do
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: you need to pull over?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: No, I'm good.
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: I got you guys on speaker.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: I know you hate speaker, but I can hear you guys.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: I can hear you good, too. So let's play. Let's
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: explain what imposter is, Peyton.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Yes, so imposter.
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: Our producer, Nick, has secretly picked one person in the
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: studio to be the imposter. The rest of us have
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: all gotten the same word or the same topic. We're
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: each going to describe the word without saying it. But
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: the thing is, Denise, one of us is lying and
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: is the imposter, and you have to figure out who
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: it is, okay?
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: You get to pick between John J. Rich, Kyle, or
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: me to kind of kick us off and start us out.
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: Um, let's do Kyle.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: Fruity Pebbles.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Milk.
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: Swig.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Addictive.
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Chippendales.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: Lucky Charms.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: Utah.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Drama.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: TikTok. Dance.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Swingers.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Friendship. Loyalty.
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: Moms.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Mikayla.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Okay, Denise. Let us know who you think is the imposter.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: One of us does not know what the topic or
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the word is.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: Can you each repeat your very first word?
- 1:11:37Speaker 12: Lame.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: That's why you're on speakerphone. You're not supposed to be
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: on speakerphone because you didn't hear.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Fruity Pebbles.
- 1:11:41Speaker 11: No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Because I think that will give it away.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I heard you guys, but then it.
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: That's actually a smart tactic.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: I don't remember.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: Mine was addictive. It's a smart tactic, but it shouldn't
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: be allowed. Mine was addictive. I said milk.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: Oh, I said swig.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Whoever said milk. Okay, well, that's me, John Jay. I
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: said milk.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Are you in the imposter?
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: John Jay, I think you're the imposter.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: I am.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: Her tactic worked.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: Literally, though, but yeah, because what, John Jay, you thought
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Kyle was getting into cereal?
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: Right, but I figured out, I think, if I could guess,
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: that it had to do with Mormon housewives or moms.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Yes, now you're like, Mormon wives. But honestly, Denise, you
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: played the game well. I know.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I'm like, I couldn't remember who was the one that
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: said milk, but I remembered someone said milk, and I
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: was like, wait a minute, who's.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: The one that said milk at first?
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: Do they not drink milk on that show?
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: That's not really like indicative of it.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: Hey, what was the Fruity Pebbles part though? I don't
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: even know how that's on the show.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Go back and watch season one.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: It's a whole thing. It is NSFW, if you will.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: Oh, right.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: I retract my question.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: All right, Denise.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Good job.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: You got tickets to see Kanye. Congratulations.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: Yay!
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Thank you so much. By the way, are any of
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: you guys watching Meegly?
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I just started it.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Yeah. I'm on episode three.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: Do you at all feel like it needs more Reacher?
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: It does need more Reacher.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: But Reacher's in episode one. But I've already heard from people,
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: and it's so funny, because she wears a Fruit Loops t-shirt.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: And I guess people are buying up these t-shirts now.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: Since you brought up Fruity Pebbles. Oh, that's fun. She's
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: got a t-shirt that says Fruit Loops on it. And
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: she wears it a lot. And everyone's trying to buy
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: the shirt now. And I don't know where she got it.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: But anyway, if you watch Neegly, check it out. I
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: think it's a pretty good show so far.
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: Yeah, it is good.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: It's on Amazon. It's like number one. In fact, did
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: you see the star of Reacher made a big post
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: on Instagram? How bummed he was that he got bumped
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: to number two? Then Neegly's number one. Oh, no, that's
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: so funny. That's cool.
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: Oh!
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: John Jay and Rich.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Call the show at 877-937-1047.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: What do we need to know?
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: Okay, I think this is where AI starts to get
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: a little creepy. They were testing an open AI powered
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: bot in Australia and somehow it got itself into a
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: government health database and went further than people testing it expected.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: Oh no.
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: And here's the crazy timing.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: So open AI, they also just said they're about to
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: show off new AI specifically designed to fight cyber attacks.
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: So we're basically getting to the point where we're making
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: AI to fight AI. Yeah, we're making our own enemy.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: I know, it's like it's just fighting itself.
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: It's like kind of giving Civil War a little bit.
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: Because people are realizing that the AI has now become
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: a little more advanced than we can handle, so we.
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: Need the AI to fight the AI.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: That is bizarre. That is crazy.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: It's pretty wild.
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: Rich, I don't want to steal food news from you
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: or anything, but.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: I feel like it's important.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: Wait, hold on.
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: It's important to... No, we don't need the special food news.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: Oh, sure, we do.
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: It's okay. She says you do.
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: No!
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: John Jay and Rich present Food News.
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: Food News.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich have Food News.
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: Back to you in the studio, Kyle.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Thanks for that, Rich.
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: Thank you, Rich. Yes, you're right. That was necessary.
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: Apparently, food companies have decided small, regular flavors, normal is
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: boring because Kraft made a mac and cheese soda. Like
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: if you've ever loved the cheese in the mac and cheese,
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: I could just drink this.
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: Now you can.
- 1:14:58Speaker 8: There's an actual soda of Kraft mac and cheese and
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: KFC made a cereal covered in its 11 herbs and spices.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: They suggest you eat it with gravy instead of milk.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: See, I'm being game for that, but the mac and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: cheese soda, I'm out on.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: See, that's how they're luring us to be complacent about AI.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: By giving us carb crashes. So we're like, yeah, whatever
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: with AI.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: I am loving this weather.
- 1:15:22Speaker 8: We're getting rain a lot right now here in Arizona.
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: And it's a lot because there are literally two hurricanes
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: way out in the Pacific right now. And they're not
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: coming towards us or anything like that. But we are
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: going to get a little bit of moisture from those.
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: So be expecting some more rain over this weekend.
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: And that's why. It's because of those two hurricanes. I'm
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: actually like, I love this for everyone.
- 1:15:45Speaker 8: There's a new fall festival opening in Surprise tonight. And
- 1:15:48Speaker 8: forget picking a pumpkin. They're actually letting kids get into
- 1:15:51Speaker 8: real excavators.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: Drive them and move dirt around.
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: I think this is so cool.
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: There are zip lines, apple cannons, glowing pumpkins, and a
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: bunch of other stuff.
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: But honestly, you had me at let my kid operate
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: heavy machinery. That sounds so fun.
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: When you talk about good news, we can move excavators
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: around with our kids. Every kid wants to do that.
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: And cereal with gravy.
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: I mean, right. Also, very, very good news.
- 1:16:17Speaker 8: And somehow I don't know how this keeps happening, but
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: the Diamondbacks are still alive in this.
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: They are like squeaking by.
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: This is San Diego though, right? Tonight, tomorrow?
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: I genuinely thought the Padres clinching last night was bad
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: news for us, but apparently we don't even care about
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: them anymore because Philly is now the team we are chasing.
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: The Diamondbacks have won five straight and Philly lost yesterday.
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: And we are only two games back with three games left. Yes,
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: against the Padres. If we sweep them.
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: We are still alive and maybe headed to the playoffs.
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: It's so wild. It's literally down to every game win.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: So go D-backs. And that's what you need to know.
