- 0:09Speaker 1: Well, married, divorced. That I don't know.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Did she have had time?
- 0:13Speaker 1: Well, she was probably canoodling before the last marriage was over.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 0:19Speaker 2: So what do you think about not moving in together
- 0:22Speaker 2: before marriage? It seems like now so many people... just
- 0:26Speaker 2: do it they just move in together live together get
- 0:28Speaker 2: married yeah so a cup a friend of mine she's
- 0:31Speaker 2: about 58 59 maybe okay she just got married for
- 0:34Speaker 2: the first time they live up in connecticut and they're
- 0:38Speaker 2: not moving in together by design at all no she
- 0:41Speaker 2: has a house she has her things he has his
- 0:44Speaker 2: house he has his things and they see each other
- 0:47Speaker 2: when they want it's kind of like Kind of sounds
- 0:48Speaker 2: like Woody Allen, actually, but we know how that turned out.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah. But the question would be to them is, why
- 0:55Speaker 1: did you get married?
- 0:56Speaker 2: I maybe.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Somebody have health benefits here?
- 0:58Speaker 2: I don't know. Companionship?
- 1:01Speaker 1: In separate houses?
- 1:03Speaker 2: She's always wanted to be married. She has a son
- 1:05Speaker 2: who's in college now, but she never was married.
- 1:08Speaker 1: How far apart are the houses?
- 1:10Speaker 2: About 30 minutes.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Not super close. No, you cannot walk there. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So this actually goes beyond the question, like after marriage,
- 1:20Speaker 2: would you not live together? That would be okay for me,
- 1:22Speaker 2: I think, at some point in my life.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Oh, Mark's still sleeping.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I mean, I love living with my husband, but also
- 1:28Speaker 2: when they're gone, what if you had like two nights
- 1:31Speaker 2: off a week?
- 1:31Speaker 1: How about that? Well, you know, my wife and daughter
- 1:34Speaker 1: are away. They have been for the last week.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And I actually— You like it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I used to like it more than I do now.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I kind of miss them.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Well, I find like... That's weird.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I feel really weird saying I miss them.
- 1:47Speaker 2: If someone is gone, say, three days, four days.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I find the first two days, I really enjoy it.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I do a lot of nothing. And then the projects
- 1:55Speaker 2: that I'm going to do, they sort of ramp it
- 1:56Speaker 2: up in speed in the last 24 hours.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Laundry starts piling up.
- 2:00Speaker 2: But I do find there's a.
- 2:01Speaker 1: The cats get hungry.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. I get hungry. There's a couple of days
- 2:04Speaker 2: in there where I need a shower. There's a couple
- 2:07Speaker 2: of days in there where you sort of revert to
- 2:09Speaker 2: like teenageness. you know, and you just act like a
- 2:11Speaker 2: complete slob.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yes. And then I start feeling guilty that the place
- 2:15Speaker 1: has got to be at least fixed up before they
- 2:18Speaker 1: come home.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Maybe this is why you should live with someone so
- 2:21Speaker 2: they can actually see your slob-ness. Do they want to
- 2:24Speaker 2: live with your dirty laundry and you're not showering and
- 2:26Speaker 2: your dirty hair in the morning? That's probably what that's about, right?
- 2:30Speaker 1: I think so.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You know, I do think you probably, my opinion, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: know that some people don't think it's the right thing
- 2:38Speaker 1: to do, but You really should know each other. If
- 2:41Speaker 1: you're going to commit forever and ever.
- 2:43Speaker 2: You would know.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I would know. You would know. Committed three times.
- 2:48Speaker 2: The last one is a winner.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I should be committed.
