A Prayer for How We Use What We’ve Been Given

Loving God,

all of us have some measure of power,

authority,

responsibility.

Help us reflect your image

in the way we use them.

Let us reflect your love

in the way we care

for one another

and the world around us.

In the way we lead.

In the way we serve.

In the way we build

and allow others to flourish.

Help us create a world

that you can describe

not only as good,

but exceedingly good.

Amen.
