- 0:28Speaker 4: Good morning.

- 0:30Speaker 5: I'm doing good, doctor Cobble.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I missed you yesterday.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I came in to see Brittany for a micro needling

- 0:39Speaker 2: a chance.
- 0:40Speaker 3: To say hi.
- 0:41Speaker 4: I'll bummer. Well, I hope that went well.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Great.
- 0:44Speaker 1: She gets her micro micro needling at your office and
- 0:47Speaker 1: I give her a macro needle here. Uh listen, if
- 0:52Speaker 1: you got you have you got health problems? Is your
- 0:55Speaker 1: does your does your tired ache? Have you got as
- 0:58Speaker 1: you have you got a pain in your sigh?
- 1:00Speaker 3: You get you in your giddy up.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that kind of thing. Uh, it's uh this, we
- 1:04Speaker 1: have a doctor here who can maybe help you answer
- 1:07Speaker 1: some questions about that. Eight seven seven six zero two
- 1:11Speaker 1: nine six ninety six is the number to call and
- 1:13Speaker 1: ask questions for doctor Cobble. If you want to text,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you can also text questions, but uh, usually it works
- 1:21Speaker 1: better to call on the phone. So it's eight seven
- 1:23Speaker 1: seven six oh two nine six ninety six for your
- 1:26Speaker 1: medical questions for Uh, he's a certified doctor. I've seen
- 1:30Speaker 1: his diploma on the wall in his office, so.
- 1:32Speaker 3: He's he's he's and he's doctored you up real good.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, I have a question for you, doctor Cobble.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Like been meaning to ask you this for a long time.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Is it important to know what your blood type is?
- 1:45Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Really, it's not important for individuals to know what.
- 1:52Speaker 4: It is now, not unless you're going to get a
- 1:54Speaker 4: major surgery or may have to have a blood transfusion.
- 1:56Speaker 4: But typically I don't think that's a that's important.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Crazy right now, do you know your blood type?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I do not.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh, Gina, I don't I know. I'm oh, I don't
- 2:07Speaker 3: remember if I'm positive.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I am negative. I do know my blood type, but
- 2:11Speaker 1: I had surgery so well, I've had plenty of surgery.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I guess that's true.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You've had more than I have, and I don't. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: don't know. Do you know my blood type?
- 2:19Speaker 4: Doctor Cobble, I was just thinking about your surgery, and
- 2:24Speaker 4: you're abby normal.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That's a great way to remember it.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And Gina, I assume you're looking more beautiful this morning
- 2:34Speaker 4: after yesterday's micro needling.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm radiant, aren't I, although I've been trying to counteract
- 2:41Speaker 1: that with some macro needling. We we have a phone call.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm one.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Let's let's go to Zane.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Good morning, Zaye. How are you today?
- 2:51Speaker 5: I'm fine, I'm just fine. How are you all?
- 2:53Speaker 1: That's good, We're fine, Zane. Uh So, what is your
- 2:57Speaker 1: question for doctor.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Cobble, Hey, doctor Couple, I was just wondering how serious
- 3:03Speaker 5: a two millimeter brain aneurysm could be.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Well, aneurysms in general are pretty serious. Two millimeters is
- 3:12Speaker 4: remarkably small, but I think that sometimes when they're that small,
- 3:18Speaker 4: they just may monitor them over time. But I think
- 3:24Speaker 4: that's certainly a conversation the neurosurgeon or neurologists would be
- 3:28Speaker 4: having with.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You, so probably not horrible, but keep keep keep your
- 3:33Speaker 1: keep abreast of it.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Zane, Okay, my wife, they've found a brain aneurysm, and
- 3:39Speaker 5: my wife great, well.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Not great, I meant, I meant no, I'm in light
- 3:45Speaker 1: of everything else we know about Zane's. That's really great. Yeah,
- 3:50Speaker 1: all right, Jane, we'll just just they'll they'll keep an
- 3:53Speaker 1: eye on it. She'll be okay, all right.
- 3:55Speaker 5: All right, thank you doctor, doctor couple.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Thank you, thank you.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Eight seven seven six is the number. There's a text
- 4:03Speaker 1: question here which I would like you to talk about,
- 4:07Speaker 1: doctor Cobble, because I had this happen to me. Somebody says,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I have a hydro seal on both testicles. What is
- 4:15Speaker 1: the procedure for getting rid of them? And are they
- 4:18Speaker 1: likely to return?
- 4:19Speaker 2: So?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Can you explain what a hydro seal is and then
- 4:22Speaker 1: go on with that question.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Yeah, hydro seal is just a water fluid collection around
- 4:29Speaker 4: those that particular area, And if they're small, then we
- 4:35Speaker 4: don't do anything about them. If they're large, it's an
- 4:38Speaker 4: easy surgery for a urologist to fix. I've seen hydro
- 4:43Speaker 4: seals as big as a one liter bottle. It's more
- 4:46Speaker 4: re markedly. Yeah, And in my residency that patient would
- 4:51Speaker 4: come in from Wyoming once a year to have it drained,
- 4:54Speaker 4: which is not the right way to do it. So
- 4:57Speaker 4: I think again, big hydro seals can have some medical consequences,
- 5:02Speaker 4: and it's reasonable for a urologist to determine how to take.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Care of it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Now. I had one, and it was the urologist said, uh,
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's probably preventing you from being this fertile. Fertile the
- 5:20Speaker 1: word I want to use is probably preventing you from thing,
- 5:24Speaker 1: isn't it. Well, my wife and I were My wife
- 5:27Speaker 1: and I were trying to have a child at the time,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and that wasn't it didn't seem to be working out.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And I said, well, maybe that's the reason. So I
- 5:35Speaker 1: had the surgery. It was, it was, It was pretty simple,
- 5:40Speaker 1: but but I remember being the recovery being kind of painful.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But other than that, it was well.
- 5:45Speaker 4: And I typically worried more about verica seles, which are
- 5:49Speaker 4: little veins.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's what I had. That's what I had.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Of course you had the more concerning thing.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Of course, it was in.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Those little veins, and and that heats up, heats up
- 6:01Speaker 4: the boys and sometimes they're not as effective.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I I'm sorry that that's exactly what
- 6:06Speaker 1: I had aberc.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Whatever whatever thing is.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Yeah, yeah, say it again, would you.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Well, the reason why you turn your head and cough
- 6:15Speaker 4: is so you're not coughing on the.
- 6:17Speaker 7: Clinician, right right, yeah, but you're.
- 6:20Speaker 4: You're coughing to produce pressure in the abdominal cavity to
- 6:23Speaker 4: see if there's a hernia. You can feel the hernia.
- 6:27Speaker 4: That that that's you could you could bear down like
- 6:30Speaker 4: you're having a bowet movement to increase pressure as well.
- 6:32Speaker 4: That turning your head and cough is kind of a
- 6:34Speaker 4: mash thing, not not from the movie, but kind of a.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we've got a phone call from David.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Doctor Michael Cobber David, Hi.
- 6:45Speaker 7: David, Hello, everybody.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Well, which question?
- 6:50Speaker 7: So I fairly regularly once a year usually get a
- 6:54Speaker 7: good case of pretessis and I had one earlier a
- 6:57Speaker 7: month or so ago, and uh, everything is cleared up,
- 7:01Speaker 7: except for it seems like I've got like this all
- 7:03Speaker 7: of phlam that's around my throat and it is just
- 7:07Speaker 7: annoying and it's what I affectionately call kennel cough. I
- 7:11Speaker 7: just am constantly kind of coughing, hoping. Yeah, exactly, I
- 7:17Speaker 7: was hoping to find out. I've tried allergy medication, but
- 7:20Speaker 7: I don't think that's helping.
- 7:22Speaker 1: So any thoughts on that, doctor cobble.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean you have three or four options. Number one,
- 7:28Speaker 4: it's going to go away with time. Number two, allergies
- 7:32Speaker 4: might have been terrible last month, and I've been having
- 7:35Speaker 4: to take my allergy pills two or three times a day,
- 7:37Speaker 4: which they're traditionally one to day, so kicking that up
- 7:41Speaker 4: may have some value. And then number three Montelu Cast
- 7:47Speaker 4: singular air prescription could have some value. That's a prescription
- 7:51Speaker 4: you have to see your clinician.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I take the cast every day. Actually it's great.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it works really well. And then number four is
- 7:59Speaker 4: sometimes does pregnizone for two three four weeks, like two milligrams,
- 8:05Speaker 4: and then sometimes a little bit of muse sex which
- 8:08Speaker 4: is over the counter, can thin out that flam. It's
- 8:11Speaker 4: a mucolytic moisturizer can thin out the flam, and then
- 8:15Speaker 4: maybe your antihistamines will dry it up. But those are
- 8:18Speaker 4: the options you have. And while it's irritating and affects
- 8:21Speaker 4: your quality of life, it's not going to affect your
- 8:23Speaker 4: quantity of a life, which is good.
- 8:27Speaker 7: So one person question. Yeah, So I'm I'm currently taking
- 8:33Speaker 7: a Leegra, Cleeriton, and Zertech, one each a day at
- 8:36Speaker 7: different times. Should I just stick with one or the
- 8:38Speaker 7: other or is there a problem doing all three different kinds.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Well, if you're taking three antihistamines a day, you're hitting
- 8:46Speaker 4: it pretty hard. So I think they all do this
- 8:50Speaker 4: similar thing. It's like Chevy, Dodge and Ford. So sometimes
- 8:55Speaker 4: I have people mix them up because they find one
- 8:57Speaker 4: has a little more value, or Zerotech makes it tired,
- 9:00Speaker 4: so they'll take that at night. They'll take the Clareton
- 9:02Speaker 4: or a lager in the morning. But I think if
- 9:05Speaker 4: you're taking one of each three times a day, you've
- 9:08Speaker 4: done all you can do with an antihistamine, and I
- 9:10Speaker 4: think you need to look at those other options that
- 9:11Speaker 4: I mentioned.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Okay, perfect, all right, thank you.
- 9:15Speaker 7: I appreciate it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: David's question was answered, and he has some valuable knowledge
- 9:21Speaker 1: that he can take away and do something well about
- 9:25Speaker 1: his flimball.
- 9:27Speaker 3: We got to text.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Somebody said, I keep seeing ads on social media for
- 9:31Speaker 2: a liver cleanse product.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Is there any validity to those?
- 9:35Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, liver cleansing has been popular
- 9:38Speaker 4: for thirty plus years, probably one hundred years. So I
- 9:44Speaker 4: think eating a healthy Mediterranean diet, healthy food, I think
- 9:49Speaker 4: drinking plenty of water. I just think that, you know,
- 9:53Speaker 4: you can make your liver happy by doing healthy lifestyle management.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I'm not sure if cleansing options or but I don't
- 10:01Speaker 4: I don't think they're probably dangerous, so I'm not gonna
- 10:05Speaker 4: I'm not trying to discount them.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I keep hearing I listen to a podcast that has
- 10:11Speaker 1: as a sponsor. I forget the name of it, but
- 10:13Speaker 1: it's they say, before you drink, you should always take
- 10:17Speaker 1: this because it will it will you won't have a
- 10:21Speaker 1: hangover if you take this before you drink. Is that
- 10:24Speaker 1: really possible?
- 10:27Speaker 7: Well?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Probably. I think there are certain things that can block
- 10:31Speaker 4: the alcohol effect in the lactic acidosis. But you know,
- 10:36Speaker 4: before you drink, maybe you drink water and that will
- 10:40Speaker 4: will dilute the alcohol abserption and the acidosis that can
- 10:45Speaker 4: happen from it.
- 10:45Speaker 3: And it's free.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, where do you Where in the world do you
- 10:50Speaker 1: think water is free?
- 10:51Speaker 3: Gas comes right out of the death.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm a forty three year old woman and I have
- 10:58Speaker 1: bersiitis in my shoulder. This is not from an injury.
- 11:02Speaker 1: What kind of exercises or physical therapy could I be
- 11:06Speaker 1: doing well?
- 11:09Speaker 4: I think seeing a physical therapist directly is helpful. You
- 11:11Speaker 4: can also google or do whatever search you want for
- 11:16Speaker 4: shoulder sidis exercises. There are so many of those resources online.
- 11:20Speaker 4: But birsidis is just inflammation of the little capsule around
- 11:25Speaker 4: the joint, the bursa, And it's usually an overuse injury
- 11:29Speaker 4: from whatever you know, on the computer, painting, working in
- 11:32Speaker 4: the garden, doing you know it's overused.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Slapping your kids, Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Slapping your kids across the side of the head. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 4: I know you Bill.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how I got it, spanking them. Uh birdis
- 11:48Speaker 1: Let's see, we have another text question. Now. I'm going
- 11:51Speaker 1: to ask you this, and I'm I think you'll probably
- 11:53Speaker 1: will back off of it and not want to answer it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Uh Hey, doctor Cabble, what is your opinion of chiropractors?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Do you think they are beneficial to help manage pain?
- 12:03Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:04Speaker 4: I think chiropractures are great, and I think that you know,
- 12:07Speaker 4: find a chiropractor you're comfortable, comfortable with, and you feel
- 12:10Speaker 4: like it's adding value to your care but yeah, I
- 12:13Speaker 4: think chiropractic care and osteopathic care and holistic naturopathic care
- 12:19Speaker 4: all great. You know, what I do is allopathic medicine,
- 12:23Speaker 4: so that's a little bit different that. Well, allopathic medicine
- 12:29Speaker 4: is the kind of medicine we do today that focuses
- 12:32Speaker 4: a little bit on medicine to treat particular diseases. But
- 12:36Speaker 4: you know, I'm always I always want people to do
- 12:39Speaker 4: the appropriate lifestyle. I want them to eat a healthy diet.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I want them to exercise and have stress management and
- 12:45Speaker 4: meditation and yoga and pilates and any of those types
- 12:49Speaker 4: of things. So you know, I always just hope and
- 12:53Speaker 4: want people to do healthy lifestyle. And then if I
- 12:56Speaker 4: have to manage their cholesterol or their blood sugar, or
- 12:58Speaker 4: their blood pressure or their depression, I'm here to offer
- 13:03Speaker 4: allopathic medical care to assist in that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yeah, medication that will help. I mean, I mean, I
- 13:09Speaker 1: know I had started to have high cholesterol and now
- 13:15Speaker 1: it's very well managed with medication.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I have no But also probably the lifestyle changes doctor
- 13:21Speaker 2: Cobble asked you to make help also.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Yeah, if I had done those, well, I think the
- 13:29Speaker 6: bad thing is cholesterol goes up at the age, so
- 13:31Speaker 6: oftentimes cholesterol is not dietary, and blood pressure, while it
- 13:35Speaker 6: can be driven by certain behaviors, blood pressure is an
- 13:38Speaker 6: age driven issue as well.
- 13:40Speaker 4: So I think the big thing is, you know, when
- 13:42Speaker 4: I have a fifty year old marathon runner and she
- 13:44Speaker 4: has cholesterol three hundred triglyster three hundred, and she has
- 13:47Speaker 4: a vegetable based diet, it's not rice and pasta. You know,
- 13:51Speaker 4: her question is, how do I change my diet? It's like,
- 13:54Speaker 4: now you got to change your parents, and you know,
- 13:56Speaker 4: making a genetic parental change is very difficult. So I
- 13:59Speaker 4: think that okay. So there was another.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Question I asked.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Someone says, my toddler is turning four in August and
- 14:07Speaker 2: hasn't gotten a second measles shot because he gets it
- 14:10Speaker 2: at four. Should I be concerned and try to get
- 14:12Speaker 2: it early?
- 14:15Speaker 4: Well, I don't think in August, you know, you're almost there.
- 14:19Speaker 4: You could go to your pediatrician and see if they're
- 14:22Speaker 4: you know, I think the immunization schedule is not written
- 14:26Speaker 4: in stone, So I think if you're fearful of it
- 14:29Speaker 4: and he's at a daycare or another facility where he
- 14:33Speaker 4: could be exposed, I don't think it's unreasonable going early
- 14:36Speaker 4: and ask for it. But I don't. I don't think
- 14:40Speaker 4: you have to be markedly worried about it. But you know,
- 14:42Speaker 4: you don't want people to catch measles because it's highly
- 14:46Speaker 4: contagious and in those rare cases, it can be fatal.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I as a you know, I had it as a child,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and it was that's a long time ago, and I
- 14:56Speaker 1: still remember how unpleasant it was, how just awful.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Really, Bill, this explains a lot in medical history. Now
- 15:05Speaker 4: it makes more sense to me.
- 15:07Speaker 7: But I agree with you.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I had the flu when I was probably third grade,
- 15:12Speaker 4: and I was home in bed for a week, and
- 15:14Speaker 4: the doctor made a house call. And typically when you're
- 15:17Speaker 4: sick and you get a missed school, your home having fun.
- 15:21Speaker 4: You know, when we had TV, there was black and
- 15:23Speaker 4: white and you had two channels, so you weren't watching TV.
- 15:26Speaker 4: But I was so sick. I can still remember that.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And I don't remember much else from from my childhood,
- 15:33Speaker 4: Like you remember spanking your kids in this laping across
- 15:36Speaker 4: the side of the head. I don't remember much from
- 15:38Speaker 4: my childhood, but I remember having the flu and it
- 15:42Speaker 4: was terrible.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 15:44Speaker 3: We got one last question from Cody Hi Cody.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Where are you calling us from Caemis? Okay, what's up?
- 15:52Speaker 1: What are you doing? What do you need to know?
- 15:55Speaker 5: I was wondering what's the difference between a MARINE and
- 15:57Speaker 5: CT when it comes to broken bones.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Well, MRI is a magnetic resonance CT's computed tomography. CT's
- 16:06Speaker 4: a little bit better for hard structure bone structures. MRI
- 16:11Speaker 4: is better for soft tissue. So MRI we typically like
- 16:15Speaker 4: to look at like discs and acls and shoulders, and
- 16:20Speaker 4: so it's a little better at looking at soft tissue
- 16:23Speaker 4: organ type things, whereas CT scans a little bit better
- 16:27Speaker 4: for bones.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Cody, So you have a fractured ankle, is that right?
- 16:31Speaker 5: That's right, And they've already done an MRI, and now
- 16:33Speaker 5: they want to do a CT a break on the MRI,
- 16:37Speaker 5: but now they want to do a CT as well.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Yeah, they probably just wanted to better identify the fracture
- 16:43Speaker 4: and make sure that it's an acute fracture not an
- 16:45Speaker 4: old one. And so the CT scans just a little
- 16:48Speaker 4: bit better at looking at the bone structure, and you know,
- 16:52Speaker 4: it may help direct how they're going to treat it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: There you go, Cody, there's knowledge for you. And that
- 16:59Speaker 1: was for free. Thanks.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Thanks, thank you. Feel better, Cody?
- 17:05Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Is that is it?
- 17:08Speaker 3: We are out of time, all.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Right, doctor Cable. Uh, we'll see you in a couple
- 17:13Speaker 1: of weeks.
- 17:13Speaker 7: Thanks, thank you, Hey, thank you.
