- 1:05Speaker 7: I was punching the air, but I put my hand
- 1:07Speaker 7: in front. But why?
- 1:10Speaker 4: I don't know. I was feeling it. Hey, I got
- 1:13Speaker 4: big news.
- 1:13Speaker 7: Don't worry.
- 1:16Speaker 4: If you were going somewhere, it's not going to take long.
- 1:18Speaker 8: Can you be honest about this one?
- 1:19Speaker 7: I'm going to be honest with you guys. I very
- 1:24Speaker 7: much enjoy chocolate-covered pretzels.
- 1:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Someone in the chat just made me aware.
- 1:31Speaker 9: What, it's like the day or something?
- 1:32Speaker 4: October 7th. This started in 2019. Big year for LSU fans.
- 1:36Speaker 9: True.
- 1:37Speaker 4: October 19th.
- 1:39Speaker 7: I'm sorry, 2019, October 7th, National Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Day.
- 1:45Speaker 9: Oh, I'm about to go get some flips. I think
- 1:48Speaker 9: that's what they're called.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah, the blue bag. I think the blue bag, yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I mean, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It's hard
- 1:54Speaker 4: to screw it up.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:55Speaker 7: It's hard to screw up.
- 1:55Speaker 9: I mean, you just put chocolate on a pretzel.
- 1:57Speaker 7: You take a pretzel, you put chocolate on it, unless
- 1:59Speaker 7: it's bad chocolate or a bad pretzel. I don't know
- 2:02Speaker 7: if I've ever had either one of those things be bad.
- 2:07Speaker 10: Mm-mm.
- 2:08Speaker 9: I love a chocolate-covered pretzel. A little sweet, a little salty.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I know there's some sort of day every day.
- 2:14Speaker 9: Every day something is happening.
- 2:15Speaker 7: You know what yesterday was?
- 2:16Speaker 4: This one got me excited. Full-back day.
- 2:22Speaker 7: You think they'd give us a day?
- 2:24Speaker 5: Probably.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Y'all probably take it. Yeah, we would take it. That's right.
- 2:29Speaker 4: You'd probably take it three times a year because you
- 2:31Speaker 4: forgot about the others.
- 2:32Speaker 7: That's fair, too.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Yesterday was 19 years since our Florida game.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Yesterday was 19 years?
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yesterday was 19 years.
- 2:43Speaker 8: Still the best game I've ever seen in Techers Stadium.
- 2:45Speaker 7: 19, buddy.
- 2:47Speaker 9: Congratulations, guys.
- 2:48Speaker 5: What are you going to congratulate us with?
- 2:52Speaker 7: The AARP card?
- 2:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 7: All right.
- 2:56Speaker 9: Piccadilly get a senior discount.
- 2:58Speaker 7: Hey, look.
- 2:59Speaker 9: They get a senior discount, don't they?
- 3:00Speaker 5: Don't toy with me with Piccadilly. You know that's my jam.
- 3:04Speaker 8: Can they afford a senior discount, though?
- 3:05Speaker 7: Because, like, that's 90%.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 7: They have to mark it up.
- 3:09Speaker 9: That's how Luby's is.
- 3:10Speaker 7: They got to mark it up first.
- 3:11Speaker 9: Luby's has it, and it's only old people that go
- 3:14Speaker 9: to it.
- 3:15Speaker 7: Like the stores that mark it up before they go
- 3:17Speaker 7: on sale.
- 3:18Speaker 9: That's what Amazon Prime Day is. People are like, it's
- 3:21Speaker 9: Prime Day. Get your stuff on sale. It's not on sale.
- 3:26Speaker 8: It's what it's supposed to be.
- 3:28Speaker 11: I saw a Ninja Creamy for the price that a
- 3:30Speaker 11: Ninja Creamy is on Prime Day.
- 3:32Speaker 7: It's a Ninja Creamy.
- 3:34Speaker 9: Yeah, it's not like. They say it's on sale and
- 3:38Speaker 9: it's not.
- 3:38Speaker 7: But what is it?
- 3:39Speaker 9: Wait, you don't know what a Ninja Creamy is?
- 3:41Speaker 4: A Ninja Creamy?
- 3:42Speaker 7: Where you can make ice cream with. You make ice cream. Yeah,
- 3:45Speaker 7: I've got one.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Oh.
- 3:46Speaker 9: I want one so bad.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Yeah, you can make like protein ice cream.
- 3:49Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what I wanted.
- 3:50Speaker 7: I get like a Fair Life protein shake.
- 3:51Speaker 9: Yeah, and you just put it in there.
- 3:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 9: And you can make whatever ice cream you want, whatever toppings.
- 3:55Speaker 7: It whips it up like ice cream, yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 3:58Speaker 5: You put it like a Fair Life with a scoop
- 3:59Speaker 5: of protein powder.
- 4:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 4: A Ninja Creamy.
- 4:04Speaker 9: But it's with an I instead of a Y.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Course i've always wanted one yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 11: And then i'm like i'll wait until it's on sale
- 4:14Speaker 11: on amazon prime.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Isn't it prime days yeah i think right now.
- 4:18Speaker 8: Nothing victoria just victoria just bought something yesterday she actually
- 4:22Speaker 8: got a deal on that though nothing that you ever
- 4:24Speaker 8: like actually.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Have been wanting is on prime day yeah it's like
- 4:28Speaker 5: hey heated socks prime day.
- 4:31Speaker 9: It's true i'll take some heat that's.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Cool but like.
- 4:36Speaker 7: Nobody's using those in Louisiana.
- 4:38Speaker 9: I don't know. It gets a little cold like two
- 4:40Speaker 9: days out the year.
- 4:45Speaker 4: We're up in feetsies.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I know.
- 4:47Speaker 9: My toes be getting cold.
- 4:50Speaker 7: You doing any Amazon Prime My High deals? We usually do,
- 4:54Speaker 7: but I forgot to mark it up first.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I'm over here like, what? People do that?
- 5:01Speaker 9: It's classic.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I'd rather people just buy it from my website. There
- 5:05Speaker 7: used to be a commercial in Shreveport. I think it
- 5:08Speaker 7: used to be a furniture store, and their tagline is,
- 5:11Speaker 7: where we don't just mark it up to mark it down,
- 5:14Speaker 7: we call it a sale.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Haverty's.
- 5:17Speaker 8: Haverty's.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I think it was Haverty's. Maybe Ivan Smith.
- 5:20Speaker 10: Rip?
- 5:23Speaker 7: Maybe? I don't know.
- 5:25Speaker 4: If you work at Haverty's, give us a shout.
- 5:26Speaker 5: If you're listening to us in the future in Shreveport,
- 5:29Speaker 5: let us know.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Tomorrow.
- 5:32Speaker 8: I love the local commercial.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Haverty's was great. Classy in Tyler, Texas.
- 5:37Speaker 9: Apparently they have one on Blue Bonnet.
- 5:39Speaker 7: No. What?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Oh, they used to.
- 5:41Speaker 9: Maybe it's closed and they don't have it anymore.
- 5:43Speaker 8: They got one towards Covington somewhere. I don't remember exactly,
- 5:46Speaker 8: but it's right off the interstate.
- 5:47Speaker 7: I've seen him.
- 5:47Speaker 5: I think it was Ivan Smith in the head there.
- 5:50Speaker 7: We don't mark it up. Just mark it down. All
- 5:53Speaker 7: the sale.
- 5:53Speaker 8: The old local commercials are the best.
- 5:55Speaker 7: I don't think Haverty's a cabinet. They're a little classy
- 5:59Speaker 7: for that kind of accent. Yeah, I think it's Ivan
- 6:01Speaker 7: Smith furniture, yeah. Granted, I would prefer commercials with that accent.
- 6:06Speaker 5: This is an old guy. Old gray hair fella. In
- 6:10Speaker 5: like a Texas style suit.
- 6:12Speaker 7: You know what I mean? Like he's selling oil to somebody.
- 6:15Speaker 7: One of those jackets. With like aviator glasses. Not like sunglasses,
- 6:20Speaker 7: but like glasses.
- 6:23Speaker 9: I'm picturing George W.
- 6:24Speaker 8: In my head.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Very similar. Kind of Ross Perot, actually.
- 6:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 5: That's what that fella looked like.
- 6:31Speaker 8: That showed me a fencing company was local and like
- 6:35Speaker 8: it was before me but like he showed it to
- 6:36Speaker 8: me and uh it was this old guy on there
- 6:38Speaker 8: and he's like we stand behind every fence we build
- 6:41Speaker 8: otherwise they'd fall down and i was like that's a great.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Commercial that's great that is good for y'all so.
- 6:47Speaker 8: Like that was he probably showed me that 15 years
- 6:49Speaker 8: ago i still remember.
- 6:50Speaker 12: Hell yeah it's great it's funny because it's true super
- 7:01Speaker 12: true I need another good local commercial, though.
- 7:04Speaker 10: I know.
- 7:04Speaker 7: What do you got for me?
- 7:05Speaker 11: Do y'all remember the one that was like, wait.
- 7:11Speaker 9: I forget the name, but he was like, Jones, barbecue
- 7:13Speaker 9: and foot massage.
- 7:15Speaker 2: What?
- 7:16Speaker 7: Barbecue and foot massage?
- 7:18Speaker 9: Wait, let me find it.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Hell no.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Hell yes.
- 7:21Speaker 8: That does sound nice.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I mean, are you kidding me? Having a baby back
- 7:25Speaker 4: rib and getting your foot rubbed?
- 7:26Speaker 8: When could you not use both of those things?
- 7:28Speaker 4: What are we talking about, Jake?
- 7:31Speaker 9: Okay, here it is.
- 7:32Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know that I want my foot.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Nobody's touched them dogs in a while.
- 7:36Speaker 7: And barbecue in the same.
- 7:38Speaker 9: Okay.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Yeah. I'm in.
- 7:46Speaker 9: I'm in.
- 7:47Speaker 8: What's the downside?
- 7:49Speaker 7: Yeah. Investors?
- 7:51Speaker 4: Possibly you. Possibly you.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Where's that at?
- 7:58Speaker 9: What's the 708 zip code?
- 8:02Speaker 7: That's all the banners, right? Like 708.
- 8:03Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 8:05Speaker 9: I guess I mean area code.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Oh, I thought you meant like started zip code.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Yeah, my bad.
- 8:09Speaker 9: Chicago.
- 8:10Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Hey, little tiny Bobby can go get some barbecue and
- 8:15Speaker 5: a foot massage.
- 8:16Speaker 8: He's checked it out before.
- 8:17Speaker 9: That'd be the quickest foot massage ever.
- 8:20Speaker 7: Little thumbs.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Little thumbs, like this.
- 8:26Speaker 8: It's like, all right, sir, you're all done.
- 8:27Speaker 7: All right, you're all done.
- 8:28Speaker 4: That was quick. I'm not even doing my first rib.
- 8:32Speaker 8: Well, we're done with your foot.
- 8:37Speaker 9: I haven't gotten even to the potato salad yet.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Not enough foot.
- 8:41Speaker 8: How are you 6'4 and your feet are this little?
- 8:43Speaker 8: It doesn't make sense.
- 8:50Speaker 5: That does feel like somewhere Ben Mintz has been in Chicago, though.
- 8:52Speaker 9: Has to have been. Now, I don't know if it's
- 8:55Speaker 9: still open. It looks like an old commercial.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I mean, it can't be close.
- 9:00Speaker 8: Ben's got a coupon.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Not with those services.
- 9:02Speaker 9: Let's look it up.
- 9:02Speaker 7: No chance.
- 9:04Speaker 9: Jones Barbecue.
- 9:06Speaker 7: Maybe they're laundering money. Sure, it was pretty cash business
- 9:10Speaker 7: for sure. Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 4: How are you going to clean that money? Yeah, you
- 9:14Speaker 4: got to. That and car washes, you know?
- 9:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Mattress stores. Laundromats. Yeah, laundromats too. Gentleman's clubs.
- 9:24Speaker 7: That's what Ozark taught us.
- 9:27Speaker 4: They did?
- 9:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Sopranos.
- 9:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 8: Sopranos is like the, you have like the Italian meat
- 9:34Speaker 8: deli in the front, and then you do all the
- 9:36Speaker 8: business in the back.
- 9:37Speaker 7: And if you can get a riverboat casino, you can
- 9:40Speaker 7: do that too. It's better, faster. True.
- 9:43Speaker 5: We had a sandwich shop in Shreveport. It was really,
- 9:47Speaker 5: really good. Great sandwiches. But it was called Casino Deli.
- 9:52Speaker 5: No doubt it was a front for the mob.
- 9:54Speaker 9: Had to have been.
- 9:55Speaker 7: No doubt.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Now, the sandwiches were great. They're like a real Italian family.
- 9:59Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 7: But no doubt it was just a front for the mob.
- 10:02Speaker 7: But if they get it wrong, if you ask for
- 10:04Speaker 7: no mayo and they put mayo, you don't say no.
- 10:07Speaker 7: You just eat it.
- 10:07Speaker 5: You just eat it and enjoy it. I don't know
- 10:11Speaker 5: if it's still there, but.
- 10:14Speaker 7: It was definitely.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Got busted.
- 10:16Speaker 7: Somebody named Anthony owned that puppy.
- 10:19Speaker 4: I respect.
- 10:20Speaker 9: Had to have.
- 10:21Speaker 8: Anthony, he had a son, Tony Jr.
- 10:23Speaker 7: No doubt. That's the family right there.
- 10:30Speaker 4: I want a sandwich.
- 10:31Speaker 7: I do, too. I want McAllister's now. All right. Well.
- 10:39Speaker 4: This is good. I like this.
- 10:40Speaker 5: What was our guy's name that messaged us yesterday and said,
- 10:45Speaker 5: y'all just need to talk sports?
- 10:46Speaker 7: Alf.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Al's not happy with us right now.
- 10:49Speaker 4: We've done a lot of sports talk.
- 10:51Speaker 1: A lot.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Heavy. Heavy.
- 10:52Speaker 4: First two hours.
- 10:54Speaker 7: First and second segment, basically. This is hour three. This
- 10:56Speaker 7: is when the viewership goes like 10. So, like, we're.
- 11:00Speaker 7: 289 watching right now.
- 11:01Speaker 4: 10 million, probably.
- 11:03Speaker 7: Yeah. In Japan alone. Uh-huh. Should we order sandwiches?
- 11:10Speaker 4: I could go for a sandwich. All right.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Since you said that, since you brought it up, first
- 11:15Speaker 5: one's on you.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I mean, it is nine.
- 11:19Speaker 7: And you didn't bring us a breakfast sandwich when you
- 11:21Speaker 7: got yourself.
- 11:22Speaker 4: You're right.
- 11:22Speaker 7: I am one breakfast sandwich in already. My body's super efficient.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Sure. Efficient like that LSU offense this weekend.
- 11:34Speaker 10: Am I right?
- 11:34Speaker 4: Hey, now.
- 11:37Speaker 9: All right.
- 11:37Speaker 7: We'll take a break.
- 11:38Speaker 5: And when we come back, I don't think you want
- 11:41Speaker 5: to know how good Minnesota's defense is, but we'll tell you.
- 11:44Speaker 7: We'll do it right here on OTV.

- 12:55Speaker 7: Wednesday's show is brought to you by Poncho.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 13:12Speaker 2: The lonely mother gazing out of the window Staring at
- 13:26Speaker 2: a son that she just can't touch If at any
- 13:31Speaker 2: time he's in the jam, she'll.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Be by his side But he doesn't realize he hurts
- 13:39Speaker 3: us But all the praying just ain't helping at all
- 13:47Speaker 3: Cause he can't seem to keep.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Himself out of trouble So he goes out and he
- 13:54Speaker 1: makes his money The best way he knows how Another
- 13:59Speaker 1: body laying cold in the gutter Listen to me Go, go.
- 14:04Speaker 12: Jason.
- 14:09Speaker 4: All right, we'll get back here. Off to bench hour
- 14:11Speaker 4: number three. What's today? On a Wednesday. I'll tell you
- 14:14Speaker 4: about our friends over at Caterers.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Louisiana has always been at the center of American energy,
- 14:20Speaker 7: and Caterers is investing in what comes next here in Louisiana.
- 14:24Speaker 7: They are developing the Commonwealth LNG Export Facility over there
- 14:27Speaker 7: in Cameron Parish, and the project is designed to take
- 14:30Speaker 7: American natural gas produced here at home and help deliver
- 14:32Speaker 7: it to customers in energy markets around the world. That
- 14:36Speaker 7: means a major investment right here in Louisiana, supporting local jobs,
- 14:40Speaker 7: local businesses, infrastructure, and long-term economic activity across the Gulf Coast.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Caterus is building an integrated natural gas business that connects
- 14:48Speaker 7: American energy production with the growing global demand for reliable energy.
- 14:53Speaker 7: It's another example of Louisiana doing what Louisiana has done
- 14:56Speaker 7: for generations, which is help power America and the world. Caterus,
- 15:00Speaker 7: investing in Louisiana and connecting American energy to that global market. Worldwide.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Wide.
- 15:06Speaker 7: Wide.
- 15:14Speaker 10: All right.
- 15:14Speaker 7: Welcome back in OTV. You're right.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Saints got the Minnesota Vikings coming up. Minnesota, one of
- 15:24Speaker 5: the best defenses in the NFL.
- 15:26Speaker 2: 4-0.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Kyler Murray now back. Actually played pretty well. I know
- 15:33Speaker 5: the Dolphins game was 15-10. He actually played pretty well.
- 15:37Speaker 4: They made some good plays.
- 15:38Speaker 7: He's still, I think Kyler Murray is still trying to,
- 15:42Speaker 7: Kyler Murray is trying to figure out exactly what Kevin
- 15:44Speaker 7: O'Connell and that offense is once in trying to do
- 15:47Speaker 7: every single play. I think they're Kevin O'Connell still trying
- 15:52Speaker 7: to figure out exactly what Kyler Murray does the best,
- 15:55Speaker 7: but there's good plays out there consistently. It hadn't been
- 15:58Speaker 7: like a complete game. That's been like, yeah, that was,
- 16:01Speaker 7: that's awesome. All the way through from start to finish.
- 16:05Speaker 7: which it hardly ever is, but y'all get it. There's
- 16:07Speaker 7: some good and there's some bad. Some good, some bad.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Some good, some bad. Throughout the game. It's not real consistent.
- 16:12Speaker 7: I think that's going to get better. It's going to
- 16:14Speaker 7: get better with time. Hopefully not this week, but after
- 16:16Speaker 7: this week.
- 16:18Speaker 5: For the defense for Minnesota, they are fifth right now
- 16:21Speaker 5: in total yards allowed, only giving up 289 per game.
- 16:24Speaker 5: They're number one in the NFL in sacks with 16,
- 16:28Speaker 5: and they are second in the NFL with turnover difference.
- 16:32Speaker 7: Plus five. Well, they're first by, like, a long shot
- 16:35Speaker 7: and pressure percentage. They're, like, 68 or something like that
- 16:38Speaker 7: pressure percentage. Oh, they're in the 70s. Are they? Yeah.
- 16:41Speaker 8: I think they were 73 going into last Sunday. And
- 16:45Speaker 8: the next closest was, like, 50.
- 16:46Speaker 4: And, like, it's a lot. I think the average is, like,
- 16:51Speaker 4: in the 20s probably.
- 16:52Speaker 12: 73%.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:53Speaker 7: They're probably three times, almost three times more than the average.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I'd have to look that up. I'm just guessing there.
- 17:00Speaker 7: They're at least twice.
- 17:02Speaker 5: In passing defense, and they are also, I think they're
- 17:07Speaker 5: seventh in rush defense as well.
- 17:09Speaker 7: They only give up.
- 17:11Speaker 4: They don't need to be.
- 17:11Speaker 5: 94 yards on the ground.
- 17:14Speaker 7: They don't need to be seventh in rushing. They could
- 17:16Speaker 7: be 33rd and stop the Saints rush.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Number one in points per game given up with only 12.8
- 17:25Speaker 5: points per game.
- 17:27Speaker 4: No, good, good. They're very good.
- 17:33Speaker 7: Um, but every team in the NFL is gettable on
- 17:38Speaker 7: a certain, like the day is going to come where
- 17:40Speaker 7: that defense gets got because they do pressure so much.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Even if it's by accident, people are going to fall
- 17:47Speaker 7: into big plays because of now you do, you take
- 17:50Speaker 7: calculated risk. You mitigate your risk by putting people in
- 17:54Speaker 7: the right position, trying to sound up some shorts and stuff,
- 17:57Speaker 7: but NFL coordinators and NFL players are going to figure
- 18:01Speaker 7: out a way to gas you when you pressure that much.
- 18:04Speaker 7: Like that's an unheard of number. Yeah. When you talk
- 18:07Speaker 7: about the totality of defensive snaps and we're not just
- 18:10Speaker 7: talking about third downs, like if you pressured 60% of
- 18:15Speaker 7: the time on third downs, okay, I can, I can,
- 18:18Speaker 7: that's reasonable, but of all the down and distances, all
- 18:21Speaker 7: defensive snaps around 70% pressure.
- 18:26Speaker 4: It's a lot. They're going to get good.
- 18:27Speaker 7: They're good. And I'm not going to say they're going
- 18:29Speaker 7: to get got every week. But somebody's going to have
- 18:32Speaker 7: a day against that defense at some point. Now, it
- 18:36Speaker 7: might just be once, but somebody is. I think Tyler
- 18:41Speaker 7: Shuck has been really good under pressure. And I'm not
- 18:43Speaker 7: going to say just because, like, I know he's had
- 18:46Speaker 7: to throw it a lot because.
- 18:47Speaker 4: They can't run. And their defense sometimes can't stop anybody.
- 18:51Speaker 7: I get it. But he has been very calm, cool,
- 18:55Speaker 7: and collective under pressure. He didn't get rattled to me.
- 18:59Speaker 7: So I think he's one of the top quarterbacks in
- 19:05Speaker 7: the NFL right now.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I do. Now, is that going to always show up
- 19:09Speaker 4: in the win column? Unfortunately, no.
- 19:13Speaker 7: And wins-loss is a quarterback stat a lot of times,
- 19:18Speaker 7: so it does have to be factored in.
- 19:21Speaker 4: But I take him over a lot of people right now.
- 19:24Speaker 7: And even watching that game, and look, I caught hell
- 19:28Speaker 7: for not giving enough credit. I catch hell for giving
- 19:31Speaker 7: him too much credit, I guess. I don't know. I've
- 19:34Speaker 7: got to find a middle ground.
- 19:36Speaker 4: He's middle of the road. I don't know.
- 19:38Speaker 7: What do you want me to say? I watch him play,
- 19:40Speaker 7: and I'm not taking a lot of guys in the
- 19:42Speaker 7: NFL over him if I'm starting a team, if I'm
- 19:43Speaker 7: starting a franchise. So I don't think that I bring
- 19:49Speaker 7: all that up. to say, like, I don't think them
- 19:51Speaker 7: pressuring 70 something percent of the time is 76. 76.4%
- 19:55Speaker 7: of the time. I don't think three out of every
- 19:58Speaker 7: four pressures coming in. I don't think that's going to
- 20:00Speaker 7: like rattle him. Now it might, might rattle everybody else.
- 20:06Speaker 7: That receiving core and way he's playing is, This is
- 20:10Speaker 7: pretty exceptional. I just got to give them some help.
- 20:11Speaker 5: They bring at least five on 65% of the passes
- 20:16Speaker 5: that they defend. They bring at least six on 17.9%,
- 20:21Speaker 5: and they bring seven 2.4%.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Okay, I guess the rest is simulated. Yeah, 14.6%.
- 20:26Speaker 7: All right. That's a lot of pressure.
- 20:31Speaker 4: That's a lot of pressure.
- 20:32Speaker 7: You got to have some badass defensive backs. for sure.
- 20:40Speaker 5: But as an offense though, how do you attack it?
- 20:45Speaker 4: I'd have to watch it. Like, is it, is it pressure?
- 20:47Speaker 7: That's super aggressive pressure, like hair on fire type pressure.
- 20:51Speaker 7: Is it more calculated? Um, I'm rushing, but I can peel.
- 20:57Speaker 7: I'm rushing to bat it down. I'm rushed to cover.
- 21:01Speaker 7: Like I'd have to see what these actually look like. Um,
- 21:07Speaker 7: Certainly overly aggressive defensives, it's kind of like fighting a
- 21:10Speaker 7: big person. You try to use their momentum against them.
- 21:14Speaker 7: You try to take advantage of their aggressiveness and counterpunch
- 21:18Speaker 7: that way.
- 21:19Speaker 4: So I'd have to see it. But you've got to
- 21:21Speaker 4: be sound.
- 21:22Speaker 7: I think a lot of times at lower levels of football,
- 21:28Speaker 7: I think the knee-jerk reaction is to keep more people
- 21:32Speaker 7: in to protect.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:35Speaker 7: And that's the opposite way that I believe you should go. Now,
- 21:38Speaker 7: I think you mix some of that in. You mix
- 21:40Speaker 7: some seven-man protections in every now and then here and there.
- 21:44Speaker 7: But never a seven-man protection where it's like you have
- 21:46Speaker 7: to stay in no matter what. Okay, like if your
- 21:49Speaker 7: guy doesn't come, get out in a pass route or
- 21:52Speaker 7: become an option. Don't just be a waste of space
- 21:56Speaker 7: out there not doing anything. And you see that a lot.
- 21:59Speaker 7: LSU did a health, like what, three, four years? Jaden
- 22:02Speaker 7: Daniels was before his Heisman year. They were protected with
- 22:05Speaker 7: seven guys. Three of them were blocking air.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Not even giving him, like, a chance to get out.
- 22:13Speaker 4: So that's not the way you do it.
- 22:16Speaker 7: Hell, like, honestly, and I joke about this sometimes, but
- 22:22Speaker 7: I'm also, like, for the Saints, why not? First drive,
- 22:27Speaker 7: first quarter, go two-minute. Go no huddle. Run your base offense.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:33Speaker 4: People say it all the time. Offenses struggle.
- 22:34Speaker 7: Like, if an offense is struggling and hadn't put up
- 22:36Speaker 7: points first, second quarter, then all of a sudden it's
- 22:40Speaker 7: two-minute drive before the half, and they go right down
- 22:42Speaker 7: the field and score a touchdown or kick a field goal,
- 22:44Speaker 7: and then the fan base is like, well, where's that
- 22:46Speaker 7: been the whole game? Well, it's because they're running two-minute,
- 22:50Speaker 7: and you're running, like, when you run two-minute, you're vanilla offense.
- 22:53Speaker 7: You're running your day one and two installs. Like, you
- 22:55Speaker 7: know it like the back of your hand. Why not?
- 22:59Speaker 7: You're terrible in the first quarter. Objectively speaking, the one
- 23:03Speaker 7: time in three years you've been leading up to the
- 23:05Speaker 7: first quarter, it was six to three. Congratulations.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Do something different. Insanity.
- 23:18Speaker 10: I'm with you.
- 23:18Speaker 4: What's the definition?
- 23:20Speaker 5: Keep doing the same thing over and over again.
- 23:22Speaker 7: I'm with you.
- 23:23Speaker 5: And you've been good in those situations when you've done
- 23:25Speaker 5: what you're talking about.
- 23:26Speaker 7: You can't run the football, right? You can't do it.
- 23:31Speaker 5: A lot of times I would tell you, you've got
- 23:32Speaker 5: to establish it. You've got to stay with it, but
- 23:33Speaker 5: you can't. You can't do it. Look, Atlanta's rush defense
- 23:38Speaker 5: is the best in the NFL.
- 23:39Speaker 7: I get that.
- 23:40Speaker 5: But it's not like that was just last week. It's
- 23:42Speaker 5: been the totality of the season. So, pressure on them.
- 23:50Speaker 5: I give this example sometimes. I don't think I've talked
- 23:52Speaker 5: about it in a long time, though. Buffalo Bills, 2013.
- 24:00Speaker 7: I got signed there for three weeks right after I
- 24:03Speaker 7: got cut, released from the Raiders.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Thank God.
- 24:06Speaker 7: And I got signed to the Buffalo Bills because E.J.
- 24:10Speaker 7: Manuel was hurt. And so I got signed there to
- 24:12Speaker 7: be a, you know, I was a rent-a-quarterback at that time.
- 24:15Speaker 7: So I got signed to be a backup there and to.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Be a guy. Got to wear the uniform and everything.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Man bun? And so I was the backup. My second,
- 24:23Speaker 7: that was. Started the man bun?
- 24:25Speaker 10: Yeah. Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 4: No, yeah, that was full blown. That was cool.
- 24:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 24:29Speaker 7: That was full blows right after that was no, no, no.
- 24:32Speaker 7: I take it back. It hadn't even started yet. Okay. Um, anyway,
- 24:36Speaker 7: I go there and my second week there, I'm backing
- 24:40Speaker 7: up because the guy that was replacing Thad, I believe
- 24:44Speaker 7: that Lewis.
- 24:45Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 7: That Lewis. So he was the start of my first
- 24:47Speaker 7: week there. He got hurt.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Jeff tool is starting the next week.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Oh, Whoa. Yeah. So he started the next week and
- 24:53Speaker 7: I'm backing them up and we're playing the Cincinnati Bengals
- 24:58Speaker 7: with Mike Zimmer as a, Defensive coordinator. That's fun. And
- 25:01Speaker 7: you understand what Mike Zimmer is to the NFL when
- 25:03Speaker 7: it comes to blitzes. Like, the godfather of the double-A
- 25:05Speaker 7: gap mug linebacker absolutely still creates hell for offenses. Still
- 25:11Speaker 7: trying to figure out how to pick.
- 25:12Speaker 4: So, they were unbelievable on defense at this time.
- 25:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Blitzes.
- 25:18Speaker 7: We went into the game, I believe, with 10 offensive plays.
- 25:24Speaker 7: On normal down and distance and third down. Now, if
- 25:26Speaker 7: you got a tight goal line, it changed a little bit. Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Ten plays.
- 25:31Speaker 7: Nathaniel Hackett was the offensive coordinator. And, like, my mind
- 25:34Speaker 7: was so blown when I got to Buffalo. I was like,
- 25:35Speaker 7: we're only going to run ten plays. I was like,
- 25:37Speaker 7: this is the worst offense I've ever been a part of. And, like,
- 25:40Speaker 7: it was like you read. It was pure progression. It
- 25:42Speaker 7: was wild. But we went in for ten plays, and
- 25:45Speaker 7: you just went fast.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Never huddled. Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 7: They could not get a blitz off. And we beat them. Yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 4: In Buffalo.
- 25:54Speaker 7: Jeff Toole starting against one of the best defenses like
- 25:57Speaker 7: this– This architect of this beautiful defense that created all
- 26:02Speaker 7: these issues, and they went fast. Saints, why not?
- 26:05Speaker 4: Go two minutes.
- 26:06Speaker 7: Against a guy that blitzes 76% of the time. Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Can't do it when you go do that.
- 26:13Speaker 7: You can't, not if you're going fast. So just do something.
- 26:15Speaker 7: If it doesn't work, you know what, Kelly Moore? Get
- 26:18Speaker 7: in front of the crowd. Get in front of the
- 26:19Speaker 7: media and say, look, we had that success. We decided
- 26:22Speaker 7: to try something different.
- 26:23Speaker 4: And you know what? It didn't work.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 5: But we didn't just keep doing the same thing over
- 26:27Speaker 5: and over again.
- 26:28Speaker 7: We didn't keep thinking for four days as a coaching
- 26:33Speaker 7: staff about the first 15 and overthinking it. Are they
- 26:41Speaker 7: going to do it?
- 26:42Speaker 4: Why not?
- 26:43Speaker 7: But are they going to?
- 26:45Speaker 10: No.
- 26:46Speaker 7: All right, fair enough. All right, we will take a break.
- 26:49Speaker 5: We've got more OTD when we come back to your

- 29:15Speaker 5: to rouses.com, find the location that's convenient for you.
- 29:18Speaker 7: Rouses.com.
- 29:19Speaker 5: You said you wanted to mention something about Kentucky.
- 29:27Speaker 7: Yeah, he did. He did during the break. What is it?
- 29:33Speaker 12: Oh.
- 29:33Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 29:35Speaker 8: We're on pins and needles here, Matt.
- 29:36Speaker 10: Hurry.
- 29:37Speaker 9: I didn't even hear it.
- 29:37Speaker 12: He did.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Gosh. God, I did? Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 5: We're going to be doing eye in the sky Kentucky version.
- 29:44Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I wanted to mention. We're going to
- 29:46Speaker 7: be doing a full Kentucky breakdown. What?
- 29:55Speaker 4: Don't put that big hand over your face like that.
- 29:58Speaker 7: Oh, I didn't.
- 29:58Speaker 11: We're going to do that big-ass face palm.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:01Speaker 7: We're going.
- 30:05Speaker 4: To do a full breakdown.
- 30:08Speaker 7: So we didn't do a film breakdown this week of
- 30:10Speaker 7: the past game of LSU McNeese. No disrespect there at all.
- 30:16Speaker 7: A couple things. I couldn't get the film for that one.
- 30:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And two, I didn't really want.
- 30:22Speaker 9: I don't think anybody wanted that.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 7: I don't think that was, you know. So what we're
- 30:27Speaker 7: doing is looking ahead. We're going to give a full
- 30:29Speaker 7: scouting report on Kentucky. Slides. Slides.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Slides, slides.
- 30:34Speaker 9: Film. Slides.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Film.
- 30:36Speaker 7: And it's probably not going to be as in-depth play-by-play,
- 30:39Speaker 7: but we'll go through a lot of different plays, show
- 30:40Speaker 7: you a lot of different looks, what to expect as
- 30:43Speaker 7: an LSU fan. No.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Never Les Rewindy.
- 30:47Speaker 3: More.
- 30:47Speaker 5: I think he's just like people that complain about him
- 30:49Speaker 5: doing that. He's just like Flykite.
- 30:51Speaker 7: Yeah. Oh, yeah. For sure. But I love constructive criticism.
- 30:54Speaker 7: But this isn't going to be... breaking down every single
- 30:58Speaker 7: little detail about an LSU play. We'll do that next
- 31:01Speaker 7: week when we break down LSU Kentucky. We'll go through
- 31:03Speaker 7: because we're going to be watching LSU. This is more
- 31:05Speaker 7: of an education for LSU fans to be introduced to
- 31:11Speaker 7: the Kentucky team, a little bit of their schematics, and
- 31:14Speaker 7: kind of what they like to do, a little bit
- 31:17Speaker 7: about their players and what kind of athletes they have
- 31:19Speaker 7: in different places. So just familiarize yourself with the opponent
- 31:23Speaker 7: so you know a little bit of what to look
- 31:25Speaker 7: for during the game.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Educate yourself before the game. It's more fun.
- 31:32Speaker 9: I can't wait.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Slides.
- 31:36Speaker 5: You've never seen a receiver screen like you're going to
- 31:40Speaker 5: see in this film breakdown.
- 31:42Speaker 4: I know.
- 31:43Speaker 9: I think I saw it last year at LSU.
- 31:45Speaker 7: That's fair.
- 31:46Speaker 4: They don't run as many as they did last year,
- 31:48Speaker 4: but they do good.
- 31:49Speaker 7: Well, it'd be hard.
- 31:51Speaker 4: They got them.
- 31:51Speaker 7: It'd be very hard to do.
- 31:57Speaker 4: So, I'm this guy. Later. Later today.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Drop it like it's hot. How many slides do you have?
- 32:06Speaker 9: We went through four today.
- 32:07Speaker 7: Did we go through four? I probably got seven or
- 32:09Speaker 7: eight slides. Only like 50 plays. Did you invest in
- 32:13Speaker 7: PowerPoint recently?
- 32:16Speaker 2: Oh, no, no. To the moon.
- 32:18Speaker 4: To the moon, okay.
- 32:19Speaker 9: You got stock in PowerPoint?
- 32:20Speaker 4: I got Google Slides.
- 32:21Speaker 8: Just to your point, Matt, I mean, Jake, he does
- 32:23Speaker 8: the QB rankings on which.
- 32:25Speaker 4: We, It was supposed to be today.
- 32:28Speaker 7: I was about to say, do we have this?
- 32:30Speaker 4: I'm only one man.
- 32:32Speaker 8: You can do them tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be
- 32:34Speaker 8: my QB break. I normally post them Thursday anyways. We're
- 32:36Speaker 8: hunting because of all the Kentucky slides we did.
- 32:39Speaker 7: You got a limit?
- 32:41Speaker 9: You got a limit?
- 32:42Speaker 8: Matt Flynn's only one man.
- 32:43Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly.
- 32:44Speaker 9: George was like, I can only do so many slides.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I can only do so much.
- 32:47Speaker 9: You've reached your slide limit.
- 32:49Speaker 4: You've got to upgrade.
- 32:50Speaker 8: Matt's usage limit's done.
- 32:53Speaker 4: You need the premium version, pal.
- 32:56Speaker 7: I'm like, all right, I guess we're drawing the line.
- 32:58Speaker 5: There's no way that you don't have the premium.
- 33:01Speaker 7: I got whatever is, I think there's only one option,
- 33:05Speaker 7: one pay option.
- 33:06Speaker 4: I definitely pay.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Because if you don't, you can only make one slide
- 33:10Speaker 7: every day.
- 33:11Speaker 8: Which is unacceptable.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Which is unacceptable. Got to be making them slides.
- 33:18Speaker 8: That's like one a day. This was America.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Hey, look, let me tell you something.
- 33:23Speaker 7: I told y'all I'm super nervous for people and their
- 33:26Speaker 7: livelihoods with this whole AI situation. I'm also nervous that
- 33:29Speaker 7: we'll be potentially fighting a war against robots at some
- 33:33Speaker 7: point as well.
- 33:34Speaker 4: The last week. There was a computer issue. Did I
- 33:39Speaker 4: tell you about this?
- 33:40Speaker 2: Uh-uh.
- 33:41Speaker 4: We got a new computer at the office.
- 33:42Speaker 7: Okay.
- 33:43Speaker 9: Oh, wait. You kind of told me.
- 33:44Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, where you had to, like, build it? Yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 7: and obviously, you know me, I don't buy a brand
- 33:47Speaker 7: new one. I buy a refurbished one.
- 33:49Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:49Speaker 7: I buy a refurbished computer desktop. It's a really nice computer,
- 33:52Speaker 7: but you get it for, like, half the price. It's refurbed.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Everything's guaranteed and all that stuff off the internet. And
- 33:59Speaker 7: we get it, and apparently this computer had been, like,
- 34:02Speaker 7: the admin computer for some, like, university at one point.
- 34:06Speaker 7: And it had a lot of firewalls and a lot
- 34:08Speaker 7: of stuff in it. Well, for like two days, I'm
- 34:11Speaker 7: sitting there with my guy, George Paul.
- 34:13Speaker 9: Just coding.
- 34:14Speaker 7: And just absolutely writing code in this thing. I'm taking
- 34:16Speaker 7: a picture of the screen. He's telling me exactly what
- 34:18Speaker 7: to do.
- 34:18Speaker 4: I was in the computer, in the computer, writing code.
- 34:24Speaker 4: And that baby's working.
- 34:25Speaker 10: Dang.
- 34:25Speaker 9: She's purring.
- 34:27Speaker 8: You got in the computer? It's amazing there was enough
- 34:30Speaker 8: space for you.
- 34:31Speaker 9: That computer was like, get out my butt.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Get out my butt. I'm like, sorry, it's George Paul.
- 34:37Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what to tell you.
- 34:40Speaker 9: That's crazy, though.
- 34:41Speaker 3: I know.
- 34:41Speaker 9: You can become like a whole.
- 34:43Speaker 7: That's why I'm afraid because there's good folks out there.
- 34:46Speaker 9: Computer engineer.
- 34:47Speaker 7: That do that. Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 9: And you did it.
- 34:50Speaker 4: And I did it. And I don't feel great about it.
- 34:52Speaker 10: You did it.
- 34:52Speaker 7: You did it.
- 34:53Speaker 4: I did it. Me, myself. My fingerprint.
- 34:56Speaker 9: Me, myself, and George.
- 34:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:59Speaker 4: And I don't feel great about it.
- 35:00Speaker 7: And I wish that they would put some legislation out
- 35:03Speaker 7: there that's going to cut it off.
- 35:05Speaker 10: No more.
- 35:06Speaker 11: And then they're going to put legislation out where they're like,
- 35:09Speaker 11: you can't do this with chat GBT.
- 35:10Speaker 9: And you're going to be like, damn it. Big government
- 35:14Speaker 9: just always in our stuff.
- 35:17Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't want to be fighting that
- 35:19Speaker 4: war against robots.
- 35:20Speaker 7: I don't want to do it. Every time in the
- 35:23Speaker 7: movies we win.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Every time we do win.
- 35:25Speaker 7: But they have to send another robot, an older version,
- 35:30Speaker 7: to beat the newer version.
- 35:31Speaker 8: That's like, if I want to put the wrong Kenny
- 35:32Speaker 8: Menchie on a graphic, I should be able to do so.
- 35:34Speaker 4: I should be able to do so. 100%.
- 35:39Speaker 7: I have figured out that if you tell it to
- 35:41Speaker 7: use the real picture multiple times, it will eventually do it.
- 35:47Speaker 5: You just got to kind of yell at it a
- 35:48Speaker 5: little bit.
- 35:48Speaker 4: You got to yell at it. Hey, bro, are you
- 35:50Speaker 4: not allowed to do this?
- 35:50Speaker 7: And he's like, yeah, I am. I'm like, well, do it.
- 35:52Speaker 7: He's like, I don't want to. I'm like, come on.
- 35:54Speaker 9: Do you call him George?
- 35:56Speaker 4: No, I don't.
- 35:57Speaker 9: You should. Make it sentient.
- 36:00Speaker 7: I saw this really good meme the other day. It
- 36:02Speaker 7: was a screenshot from Terminator.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Obviously, man fighting war.
- 36:07Speaker 8: It's robots.
- 36:09Speaker 4: And it was like the robot, badass robot walking through.
- 36:12Speaker 4: And he looks over. He's like, save that one. He said, please,
- 36:17Speaker 4: when using chat GPT.
- 36:21Speaker 7: That's me.
- 36:22Speaker 4: I say please all the time.
- 36:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Until I get mad.
- 36:24Speaker 9: Please, sir.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Please.
- 36:26Speaker 7: Will you please add this stat to that graphic?
- 36:30Speaker 4: Please. That's a great job.
- 36:34Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure. If it is, good job.
- 36:36Speaker 4: This is really nice.
- 36:37Speaker 7: Thank you. Yeah, boy.
- 36:39Speaker 9: Kelly, good job for the slides today.
- 36:40Speaker 11: Those slides were, besides Kenny Minchie not being Kenny Minchie,
- 36:45Speaker 11: pretty good.
- 36:46Speaker 8: Sinner's name.
- 36:47Speaker 7: The sinner's name was a little off, which I fed
- 36:50Speaker 7: that one to him, so I wrote it here in
- 36:51Speaker 7: my notebook.
- 36:51Speaker 4: It was cool. I can write it in my notebook.
- 36:52Speaker 4: I can take a picture of it.
- 36:53Speaker 8: Okay, so that one's on you.
- 36:55Speaker 7: No, I wrote it right. He just misread my handwriting.
- 36:58Speaker 7: I mean, it's not the neatest thing. It's all right.
- 37:03Speaker 4: He just misread it. It's all right. He has trouble reading.
- 37:06Speaker 7: Who doesn't?
- 37:09Speaker 9: The average person.
- 37:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 4: People with average intellect. Below average.
- 37:14Speaker 7: We'll take a break.

- 40:04Speaker 7: Somebody changed their name here in the chat to Ankle Soup.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Ankle Soup.
- 40:12Speaker 8: Ankle Soup 104.5. Feels like last week.
- 40:13Speaker 7: Two hours ago.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:20Speaker 9: Ankle soup was so gross.
- 40:24Speaker 4: I don't know what happened in there. I just assumed.
- 40:30Speaker 9: How much ankle soup could you make from Flynn's ankles?
- 40:33Speaker 7: So much? Oh, the most.
- 40:36Speaker 4: That's a bigger bowl than some.
- 40:38Speaker 7: Have a Thanksgiving feast.
- 40:40Speaker 9: Definitely bigger than all of ours in the room.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Whatever, guys.
- 40:45Speaker 7: But on the national average, not a cankle. We did
- 40:48Speaker 7: the science. We did the studies.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Oh yeah we did you're right.
- 40:58Speaker 4: We measured the ankle to calf ratio let's.
- 41:00Speaker 7: Get to a little ask the bench.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Who's getting ready for hunting season do you prefer a
- 41:07Speaker 5: morning or evening hunt see easy they used to be
- 41:11Speaker 5: something in my youth i really enjoyed doing you know
- 41:13Speaker 5: what happened you know what got in the way of that.
- 41:16Speaker 8: Like football you still like morning hunts better.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Usually better.
- 41:23Speaker 9: I've never been hunting, so if somebody wants to take me,
- 41:25Speaker 9: I'm down.
- 41:29Speaker 7: Man, I'm pretty ashamed to admit it's been multiple years since.
- 41:35Speaker 4: I've actually gotten into the woods.
- 41:37Speaker 7: Oh, dude, I haven't been since I was little. When
- 41:39Speaker 7: we moved back to Baton Rouge from St. Francisville, obviously
- 41:42Speaker 7: that changed. It changed a lot.
- 41:45Speaker 8: Junior in high school, maybe, last time I went, like 2013.
- 41:48Speaker 7: Really?
- 41:48Speaker 8: It's been a long time.
- 41:49Speaker 7: And I'm ashamed to say that, too, because I do
- 41:51Speaker 7: consider myself a hunter, but I can't actually claim that
- 41:54Speaker 7: anymore because it's been multiple years. It's sad.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Too busy making slides.
- 42:03Speaker 7: TTA, you feel like somebody that definitely would have.
- 42:07Speaker 8: We went a lot growing up. I always felt you
- 42:09Speaker 8: were more likely to kill something in the evening, but
- 42:12Speaker 8: morning hunt just felt like hunting. Really?
- 42:13Speaker 7: Really. Ask the bench.
- 42:19Speaker 5: You get to suit up one more time for your
- 42:21Speaker 5: LSU Tigers on the last play of the championship game.
- 42:24Speaker 5: You get injured. Death toe or ankle soup?
- 42:27Speaker 9: Death toe. Give me death toe.
- 42:29Speaker 4: Give me death toe.
- 42:29Speaker 9: Over ankle soup every day of the week.
- 42:32Speaker 8: Death toe doesn't seem as bad, but sounds cooler to
- 42:35Speaker 8: the outside.
- 42:36Speaker 4: It does.
- 42:37Speaker 8: So I think you're a win-win there.
- 42:39Speaker 9: I don't want my ankle being mangled.
- 42:41Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm good on that.
- 42:42Speaker 7: Do you think you could work death toe into the
- 42:44Speaker 7: broadcast this week? Yes.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Okay. Or ankle soup.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Not ankle soup.
- 42:49Speaker 9: I think you could.
- 42:50Speaker 7: I mean, I could.
- 42:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 7: Actually, yes. I actually know a way that I could. Yeah.
- 42:54Speaker 7: All right.
- 42:58Speaker 9: I mean, Sam had that ankle soup in the spring.
- 43:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Ankle soup.
- 43:02Speaker 7: I got it.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Or break those ankles, turn them into soup.
- 43:05Speaker 7: That's what I'm going to use kind of that way
- 43:08Speaker 7: of it. Like somebody takes some ankles.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 43:11Speaker 7: Oh, ankle soup.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Hashtag ask the bench. National face your fears day. What
- 43:17Speaker 5: is your biggest fear and can you face it today?
- 43:20Speaker 11: My biggest fear is dying in a plane crash and
- 43:24Speaker 11: I face it every time I get on a plane.
- 43:26Speaker 9: Also roaches. I can do a lot of things. I
- 43:29Speaker 9: can't do roaches.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Talk about that metal tube up in the sky.
- 43:31Speaker 8: Yeah, dude.
- 43:33Speaker 7: My biggest fear is never having a chocolate cup of
- 43:36Speaker 7: pretzel again.
- 43:37Speaker 8: That's a good one.
- 43:38Speaker 5: I think being buried alive is my biggest fear.
- 43:40Speaker 9: Oh, that sounds awful too.
- 43:43Speaker 5: There's a movie with Ryan Reynolds.
- 43:45Speaker 7: I think it's called Buried.
- 43:47Speaker 8: I think it is, yeah.
- 43:48Speaker 7: Oh, man.
- 43:48Speaker 8: Dude, that is the most heartbreaking ending of, like, any movie.
- 43:52Speaker 8: If you've ever seen it.
- 43:53Speaker 4: It doesn't make it.
- 43:55Speaker 7: Not only that.
- 43:56Speaker 4: It's not just that.
- 43:58Speaker 7: Plays with your mind.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Don't want to see it. Why would you watch that?
- 44:03Speaker 7: I didn't know.
- 44:04Speaker 8: It's pretty easy to make.
- 44:05Speaker 7: There's a movie called Buried that I can't be buried alive.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Yeah, sign me up. Get the popcorn.
- 44:13Speaker 8: I wonder what this one's about.
- 44:14Speaker 4: I wonder what this is about.
- 44:16Speaker 7: See how this one ends.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Is this a family movie? It's on you, buddy.
- 44:23Speaker 7: I mean, what if you made it, though?
- 44:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't know, do you?
- 44:32Speaker 7: Like that new movie, Brad Pitt with the dog? Yeah.
- 44:38Speaker 4: I don't want to see it.
- 44:40Speaker 7: Because I know what's going to happen to that dog.
- 44:44Speaker 9: Oh, I can't do movies where dogs die.
- 44:46Speaker 8: There's a website. It's called Does the Dog Die? You
- 44:49Speaker 8: can actually search.
- 44:50Speaker 10: Really?
- 44:51Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 8: Victoria uses it all the time.
- 44:53Speaker 10: Yeah, I can't.
- 44:53Speaker 7: It's going to be a really high quality movie about
- 44:55Speaker 7: a dog. It's going to be emotional and awesome and
- 44:57Speaker 7: a great movie. And it's going to be sad.
- 44:59Speaker 9: I can't do dog stuff.
- 45:00Speaker 7: But then they're going to try to make it happy.
- 45:05Speaker 9: Dogs are the most pure, innocent creatures ever.
- 45:08Speaker 7: Until they make you mad.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Until they run off. Yelling there in the front yard.
- 45:14Speaker 9: It's part of their charm.
- 45:16Speaker 7: Sure.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Sure.
- 45:20Speaker 5: No, Flynn has not had his glass of almond milk
- 45:22Speaker 5: since my pick won and his did not.
- 45:24Speaker 7: He has not had that yet. I'm going to bring it.
- 45:28Speaker 5: Actually, maybe I'll probably just wait until Rouse's and just
- 45:30Speaker 5: walk back there and grab some.
- 45:31Speaker 9: Oh, and y'all do it on there?
- 45:32Speaker 7: That's smart.
- 45:34Speaker 11: You do the Hanny policy where if you're doing a
- 45:37Speaker 11: show there, you can just grab.
- 45:38Speaker 9: Whatever you want.
- 45:39Speaker 7: That's what I was told by Hanny. Like, for real,
- 45:42Speaker 7: I think immediately I'll break a bone.
- 45:44Speaker 4: I have almond milk.
- 45:46Speaker 9: You'll get turf toe.
- 45:47Speaker 7: I'll get turf toe, the death toe. My bones will
- 45:52Speaker 7: become brittle. These kids these days, man. Drink milk. Real milk.
- 45:57Speaker 7: Real milk from a cow. Hey, looking forward to breaking
- 46:02Speaker 7: down some Kentucky with you later. Can't wait to break
- 46:07Speaker 7: down that Joe Sloan offense, baby.
- 46:11Speaker 4: We're exhilarated.
- 46:12Speaker 7: We're going to do it.
- 46:13Speaker 9: So many screens.
- 46:15Speaker 4: You get a screech.
- 46:15Speaker 7: You get a screech. Unnecessary shifts and motions. Look how
- 46:19Speaker 7: smart I am.
- 46:20Speaker 9: I'm going to trick him.
- 46:21Speaker 4: I'm going to get him here. Watch this.
- 46:23Speaker 7: All right. We love you. We thank you. Eye in
- 46:25Speaker 7: the sky. Dropping later today. Go American.
- 46:27Speaker 10: Off the bench.
- 46:29Speaker 7: At the Go American. Barely. God, I got it in.
- 46:32Speaker 7: Taylor rolled his eyes at me when I said, I'm
- 46:34Speaker 7: getting this in.
