Two New York men pulled off a brazen insurance fraud scheme by staging high-speed highway crashes — one even reversed into victims to ensure collisions. Jaime Huiracocha, 53, directed the hits from a nearby car while Victor Murillo, 34, drove and executed the crashes, switching seats and fleeing in another vehicle. After each crash, passengers faked injuries and were sent to clinics — all part of a plan to bilk insurers. Both were sentenced: Huiracocha to 1–3 years, Murillo to two years.
