Latest / The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson / The Democrats’ Radical Roadmap—Abolish, Defund, Target!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's talk about the platform. Sure.
- 0:02Speaker 2: You know, what's interesting is abolish the police is not
- 0:04Speaker 2: in here.
- 0:05Speaker 1: The language that we actually have about the criminal justice
- 0:07Speaker 1: system talks about how currently our police and prison system
- 0:13Speaker 1: is stacked toward persecuting poor people and excusing rich people's crimes.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I personally have no problem with having something called a
- 0:20Speaker 1: prison be the place where people like that are captive.
- 0:23Speaker 2: So why abolish prisons the thing?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Is it just that it's... The language that we have
- 0:27Speaker 1: in there is abolishing the police and prison system that
- 0:31Speaker 1: protects capital.
- 0:33Speaker 2: You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Good Tuesday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:38Speaker 3: the 47 Morning Update. And it's time to get into
- 0:41Speaker 3: who are the Democrats actually going to be if they
- 0:45Speaker 3: get the majority they're demanding in the midterm election. Well,
- 0:48Speaker 3: they're doing everything they can to make it seem like
- 0:51Speaker 3: they're not as crazy as they actually are. We're going
- 0:54Speaker 3: to visit candidates all over the country and let you
- 0:57Speaker 3: hear exactly what they're saying in their own words. And
- 1:01Speaker 3: then you can decide just how radical the Marxist, Socialist,
- 1:04Speaker 3: and Communist in the Democratic Party actually are. Now, I'm
- 1:08Speaker 3: going to play for you their words in just a moment.
- 1:10Speaker 3: But before we get to that, three years ago, terrorists
- 1:13Speaker 3: murdered more than 1,200 innocent Israelis in and took 250 hostages. Today,
- 1:20Speaker 3: as we remember the souls lost on October the 7th,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Israel is still under threat from terror sworn to her destruction.
- 1:26Speaker 3: and anti-Semitic hatred and violence continue to rise. Yet, as
- 1:31Speaker 3: the world looks away, the light shines in the darkness.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Christians and Jews are coming together to boldly stand with
- 1:37Speaker 3: Israel through the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and
- 1:41Speaker 3: an amazing program called Flags of Fellowship across America on
- 1:45Speaker 3: the anniversary of October the 7th attacks. Churches, synagogues, universities,
- 1:51Speaker 3: and communities are planting Israeli flags. It's a powerful declaration
- 1:56Speaker 3: that Israel is not alone. Now together, we can combat
- 2:00Speaker 3: hate and anti-Semitism one flag at a time while supporting
- 2:03Speaker 3: the fellowship's life-saving work for people in need. So please
- 2:07Speaker 3: donate today to plant your flag and boldly show your
- 2:11Speaker 3: support for Israel and the Jewish people. You can join
- 2:14Speaker 3: this historic movement with a gift of just $ 25. Raise
- 2:18Speaker 3: your voice and show the world that Israel is not alone.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Visit joinfof.org. That's joinfof.org. It's the 47 Morning Update, and
- 2:33Speaker 3: it starts right now.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:36Speaker 3: There is an interesting ad that has come out, and
- 2:39Speaker 3: I say ad, and I want to play it for you.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I was asked the question the other day, what is
- 2:45Speaker 3: the Democratic agenda? Now, I've been saying for a long
- 2:48Speaker 3: time the Democratic Party is dead. I've been saying for
- 2:50Speaker 3: a long time that I believe the Democratic Party is
- 2:52Speaker 3: filled with Marxists, socialists, and communists. If you've ever listened
- 2:55Speaker 3: to me before, I've been saying this while people were
- 2:57Speaker 3: telling me that that was an extreme statement to say.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I had people in the media call me up and
- 3:01Speaker 3: be like, well, that's just hyperbolic and you're just trying
- 3:04Speaker 3: to say this to get ratings or clips or whatever. No,
- 3:07Speaker 3: I actually believe it. I genuinely believe it. And what
- 3:12Speaker 3: I believe is that the Democratic agenda is to destroy
- 3:17Speaker 3: this country, to destroy democracy, and to unleash lawlessness. Now,
- 3:22Speaker 3: the Democratic Socialists of America, and that is the Democratic Party,
- 3:26Speaker 3: they are socialists, they're communists, they're Marxists. They have said
- 3:28Speaker 3: that they want to abolish the Senate. They want to
- 3:32Speaker 3: replace the presidency. They want to replace the Supreme Court.
- 3:37Speaker 3: They have said they want to eradicate prisons. They want
- 3:40Speaker 3: to get rid of what would make this country a
- 3:42Speaker 3: country because a country without borders is no country at all.
- 3:46Speaker 3: They want to get rid of borders. And they also
- 3:48Speaker 3: want to get rid of law enforcement. The warning is
- 3:52Speaker 3: not a guess, folks. They're literally telling you, the voter,
- 3:57Speaker 3: exactly who they are. Now, if you still don't believe
- 4:04Speaker 3: what I just said, great. Listen to the Democrats' agenda today.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Not my words, their own words. And we'll start with
- 4:14Speaker 3: a guy by the name of Bernie Sanders. He's one
- 4:16Speaker 3: of the godfathers of the Marxist Socialist movement within the
- 4:18Speaker 3: Democratic Party.
- 4:20Speaker 1: In the last eight months, Democratic Socialist candidates all over
- 4:25Speaker 1: this country have been winning major victories.
- 4:29Speaker 3: We've also seen several candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists
- 4:32Speaker 3: of America topple incumbent Democrats in primaries. The co-chair of
- 4:36Speaker 3: the Democratic Socialists of America was asked about their platform yesterday.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Abolish the Senate. True. Okay, replace the presidency and Supreme
- 4:45Speaker 1: Court as we now know them.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yep.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Defund the Pentagon.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 4:50Speaker 3: A tweet from congressional candidate Cori Bush.
- 4:52Speaker 2: She called for defunding the Pentagon. We talk about defunding
- 4:57Speaker 2: the Pentagon. Abolish prisons, at least in large part.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, again, as part of a long-term program, yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Are prisons obsolete?
- 5:05Speaker 1: I mean.
- 5:07Speaker 2: What purpose do they serve?
- 5:08Speaker 3: We need to completely dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The language that we have in there is abolishing the
- 5:14Speaker 1: police and prison system.
- 5:16Speaker 2: End policing as we know it. Defunding the police has
- 5:19Speaker 2: to happen.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Abolishing policing is one segment of reforming our criminal justice system.
- 5:26Speaker 1: A now-deleted Twitter account of a Democratic Socialist, Arliza Avila-Chefier,
- 5:30Speaker 1: posts and reposts supporting abolishing police, prisons, and borders.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I believe that we do need to defund the police.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I have voted against raises for police officers that bankrupted
- 5:42Speaker 2: the city. You think about, like, cash bail as a system.
- 5:44Speaker 3: What we're doing is discriminating against poverty. Abolish borders and
- 5:47Speaker 3: give amnesty to anyone currently in the U.S.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Illegally.
- 5:50Speaker 2: As a long-term plan, yep.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I want to legalize 7 or 8 or 9 or
- 5:53Speaker 3: 10 million people in our country. There has to be
- 5:57Speaker 3: an immediate pathway for every single undocumented immigrant. We've got...
- 6:00Speaker 3: millions of people who are living here in the shadows,
- 6:02Speaker 3: there needs to be a path to citizenship. Get a
- 6:04Speaker 3: path to citizenship for all 11 million or however many undocumented.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We need to be focusing on a pathway to citizenship
- 6:12Speaker 2: for those who are here.
- 6:13Speaker 1: We have 11 million people here who need a pathway
- 6:16Speaker 1: to citizenship.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I'm very supportive of bringing immigrants here to stay.
- 6:20Speaker 1: We think that there should be ways for people to
- 6:24Speaker 1: stay here.
- 6:25Speaker 2: We ought to have a path for those folks to stay.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Abolish ICE.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We have to abolish ICE.
- 6:32Speaker 2: This agency should be abolished. ICE has to be abolished.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Abolish ICE.
- 6:37Speaker 2: We need to rip up ICE.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I've said ICE not only needs to be abolished, they
- 6:41Speaker 1: need to be prosecuted.
- 6:42Speaker 2: ICE will be abolished.
- 6:44Speaker 3: DHS will be dismantled.
- 6:46Speaker 2: In 2018, I was calling for the abolishing of ICE.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I voted against the creation of ICE.
- 6:51Speaker 2: If it were up to me.
- 6:52Speaker 3: We would completely overhaul.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I strip the agency down to the studs.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Would you be in support of defunding ICE?
- 7:00Speaker 2: I am.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Is the rise of the DSA good for your party? Look,
- 7:06Speaker 2: we are a big tent party. There it is.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Now, the good news is what I just played for you.
- 7:14Speaker 3: If you would like to share it, I'm going to
- 7:16Speaker 3: put it up right now on X. And I'll put
- 7:19Speaker 3: it on Instagram as well so you can share it
- 7:21Speaker 3: because this is the Democratic agenda. Destroy our democracy. Unleash lawlessness.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Abolish the Senate. Replace the presidency in the Supreme Court.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Eradicate prisons, borders, and law enforcement. They are telling you
- 7:33Speaker 3: who they are. Believe them. And then add on it, oh,
- 7:36Speaker 3: by the way, their latest breaking news, which is we're
- 7:40Speaker 3: going to go after Trump donors. We're going to go
- 7:43Speaker 3: after cabinet secretaries. We are going to do everything we
- 7:47Speaker 3: can to lock up anybody that is connected to the
- 7:50Speaker 3: president of the United States of America.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So I think there's a number of cabinet secretaries that
- 7:55Speaker 1: have blatantly broken the law, done unconstitutional things. And I
- 7:59Speaker 1: think they better get ready because we'll come for them.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Congressman Melanie Stansbury, thank you so much for being with
- 8:03Speaker 1: us today.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Basically, they should be saying thank you so much for
- 8:07Speaker 3: weaponizing our government to destroy anyone that we don't like.
- 8:10Speaker 3: I want to go back just to that point for
- 8:12Speaker 3: a moment and just expand on it a little bit.
- 8:15Speaker 3: You put that all that I just played for you
- 8:17Speaker 3: in that montage together with this other new threat, which
- 8:22Speaker 3: is if you're around this president, get ready to be bankrupted.
- 8:26Speaker 3: If you support this president, get ready for your company
- 8:30Speaker 3: to be investigated and we'll come after you. You understand
- 8:35Speaker 3: why they're doing what they're doing, why they're saying what
- 8:37Speaker 3: they're saying. It's because they want you to be afraid
- 8:40Speaker 3: to even support them. the president of the United States
- 8:43Speaker 3: of America, or the next conservative person out there, because
- 8:47Speaker 3: if you are afraid to support them, then they don't win.
- 8:50Speaker 3: They have no power. They have no cash. They have
- 8:52Speaker 3: no money. You know, you look at what just happened
- 8:55Speaker 3: in Hungary, and this is also another example of just
- 8:59Speaker 3: how interesting all of this really is. In Hungary, you
- 9:02Speaker 3: had a guy by the name of Viktor Orban, who
- 9:04Speaker 3: was the leader there. He lost his election. The party
- 9:07Speaker 3: that has come in has now banned 50% of his
- 9:11Speaker 3: supporters that were in office from ever being in office
- 9:14Speaker 3: for running. They have stacked now the Supreme Court and
- 9:18Speaker 3: they are going after Victor Orban and anybody in government
- 9:22Speaker 3: that was there serving before then. Now you may say, well, like,
- 9:25Speaker 3: how can they do that? Because they just won the
- 9:27Speaker 3: majority and they're now weaponizing the government to silence not
- 9:31Speaker 3: only the people, but also the media. They want to
- 9:34Speaker 3: make it where it's just not worth the risk. It is,
- 9:37Speaker 3: it's just, it's just not worth the risk to go
- 9:42Speaker 3: out there and boldly send it for what you believe in.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Now you may say, Ben, that's hyperbole. You don't actually
- 9:46Speaker 3: mean that. All right, fine. Let me give you an example.
- 9:49Speaker 3: This is really interesting. I love it when people say,
- 9:52Speaker 3: I'm not really sure I believe you. They just um
- 9:55Speaker 3: nationalize the media certain parts of the media and the
- 10:00Speaker 3: only parts that they nationalized in hungary and i was
- 10:03Speaker 3: in budapest speaking uh not once but twice in warning
- 10:07Speaker 3: about this i was by the way a supporter of
- 10:10Speaker 3: victor orban and what they did was they went in
- 10:13Speaker 3: and there was very few conservative media outlets Very much
- 10:16Speaker 3: like we have in this country, we have very few
- 10:18Speaker 3: major conservative media outlets. Fox News is clearly the leader.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And what they did is they went in and the
- 10:25Speaker 3: new government nationalized the media, specifically the conservative media. And
- 10:30Speaker 3: the very first thing they did was shut it down.
- 10:33Speaker 3: So not only have they banned 50 plus percent of
- 10:36Speaker 3: the people in the conservative movement who are elected officials
- 10:39Speaker 3: from ever being in office again. They then stacked the
- 10:43Speaker 3: Supreme Court to get the rulings that they needed to
- 10:45Speaker 3: do their second thing, which was to then do what
- 10:47Speaker 3: I just told you they did, which was they said, OK,
- 10:50Speaker 3: all these conservative media outlets and websites and newspapers, yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 3: we're going to nationalize those and then we're going to
- 10:55Speaker 3: immediately shut them down and everybody's fired and you're on
- 10:58Speaker 3: a political hit list. This is happening in Hungary because
- 11:02Speaker 3: of one election cycle. And they're trying to imprison anybody
- 11:06Speaker 3: that was close to Viktor Orban. They're trying to imprison
- 11:09Speaker 3: the people that supported Viktor Orban. And they're silencing the
- 11:13Speaker 3: people that disagree with the new government by shutting, by
- 11:17Speaker 3: nationalizing and then shutting down these media outlets. If you
- 11:22Speaker 3: think that the democratic systems of America are any different
- 11:26Speaker 3: than what we're witnessing right now and in Hungary, you're wrong.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Like they will do exactly what they're doing in Hungary
- 11:33Speaker 3: right here in the United States of America. They will
- 11:35Speaker 3: do it. They're telling you what they want to do.
- 11:37Speaker 3: They're telling you what they hate. They're telling you who
- 11:40Speaker 3: they're going to come after. When you take the government
- 11:43Speaker 3: and the government no longer works for the people, it
- 11:45Speaker 3: works for your political ideology. And that is what Democrats
- 11:48Speaker 3: are now saying, right? They're telling you, hey, you elect
- 11:52Speaker 3: us and we will go after our political enemies that
- 11:56Speaker 3: are your political enemies. If you hate Trump, got it.
- 11:59Speaker 3: We're going to go after him. We're going to weaponize
- 12:00Speaker 3: our government. We're going to destroy his life. We're going
- 12:03Speaker 3: to finish what we tried to start a few years ago.
- 12:05Speaker 3: But we're going to make it hurt even more. We
- 12:07Speaker 3: used to just go after Trump and we just went
- 12:09Speaker 3: after Trump and a couple associates around him but mainly
- 12:12Speaker 3: went after Trump and his kids. And we were trying
- 12:15Speaker 3: to just destroy him financially so he had to file
- 12:17Speaker 3: for bankruptcy, wouldn't have the power anymore, he wouldn't be elected,
- 12:19Speaker 3: he would be caught up in lawfare, and then you
- 12:21Speaker 3: guys would have to go with a different candidate. Now
- 12:23Speaker 3: they're saying, no, no, no. Hey, guess what? You're a
- 12:26Speaker 3: cabinet secretary who's got an incredible record of being an
- 12:31Speaker 3: honest human being. Doesn't matter. Lee Zeldin, game on. Scott Bessant,
- 12:35Speaker 3: game on. Marco Rubio, game on. Maybe you're out of
- 12:39Speaker 3: power now. Maybe you've lost your power. Kristi Noem, don't worry,
- 12:42Speaker 3: we'll come after you. And I also believe they'll go
- 12:45Speaker 3: after ambassadors. There's a real conversation that's happening right now
- 12:48Speaker 3: in Washington, D.C. by ambassadors that are worried that they're
- 12:51Speaker 3: going to be next because a lot of the ambassadors
- 12:53Speaker 3: were huge supporters of the president of the United States
- 12:55Speaker 3: of America during his campaign run. And if you're a
- 12:58Speaker 3: huge supporter of the president of the United States of America,
- 13:01Speaker 3: Then what the Democratic Party is now saying is, hey,
- 13:03Speaker 3: if you're a supporter, you're on the enemies list. You're
- 13:05Speaker 3: on the hit list. We're coming after you.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Game on.
- 13:09Speaker 3: This is what dictators and tyrants do. And this is
- 13:13Speaker 3: what this midterm is actually about. It is not about policies.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Have you noticed that we haven't spoken a word about
- 13:18Speaker 3: the policies, really, that the Democrats ran? Because they're not
- 13:21Speaker 3: running on policies anymore. They're running on America's evil, destroy America,
- 13:27Speaker 3: and then weaponize our government to go after our political enemies.
- 13:30Speaker 3: um opponents so that they are no longer a problem
- 13:34Speaker 3: for us it's no different than what we're watching right
- 13:37Speaker 3: now in hungary some of the people that interviewed me
- 13:40Speaker 3: when i was in budapest speaking of this conference uh
- 13:42Speaker 3: have been their lives are their their lives as in
- 13:45Speaker 3: their professional lives have been destroyed they will never work
- 13:48Speaker 3: again as long as the party that's in power now
- 13:51Speaker 3: is in power because they're they're untouchable right you can't
- 13:55Speaker 3: hire them because if you do we'll come in and
- 13:56Speaker 3: we'll nationalize that organization and we'll shut you down It
- 14:01Speaker 3: is truly an enemy's hit list. That is what it is.
