Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You ready ready, that's he is piping hot today.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And now Amanda stills that.
- 0:06Speaker 1: See, we'll see until this is brought to you by
- 0:09Speaker 1: jdpe Electric. Oh, this is really sad.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Gina Rowlands famously played Ali in The Notebook. She died
- 0:15Speaker 3: at age ninety four. Of course, lived a good life.
- 0:17Speaker 3: But back in June, it was the twentieth anniversary of
- 0:19Speaker 3: The Notebook, which her son ended up directing, and that's
- 0:22Speaker 3: when he announced that she was battling Alzheimer's and Gina's
- 0:25Speaker 3: character by the way, in the flick of course she directed.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry her son directed The Notebook or the twentieth
- 0:32Speaker 1: anniversary of The Notebook.
- 0:34Speaker 3: The Notebook, but on the twentieth anniversary is when he
- 0:38Speaker 3: had said she also is going through exactly what Ali
- 0:42Speaker 3: did suffered from alzheimer. Spoiler, spoiler, you have not watched
- 0:46Speaker 3: The Notebook yet.
- 0:48Speaker 1: No, give me some time, Jesus, let's be reasonable. Everybody
- 0:51Speaker 1: years rule. It's a twenty five year rule. You can't
- 0:53Speaker 1: spoil a movie. Got it for twenty five? Okay, that's sad,
- 0:57Speaker 1: that real life. But how old ninety four? You know,
- 1:00Speaker 1: if you live long enough, your brain goes eventually. Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I don't know if that's comforting to anybody who's had
- 1:06Speaker 1: a family a relative with dementia or Alzheimer's. But tough
- 1:10Speaker 1: ninety four Good Life. I'll have to watch that movie
- 1:13Speaker 1: one of these days. You really should. It's a classic.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Tay Tay is set to return to the stage and
- 1:17Speaker 3: perform in London tonight, first of five shows. They're saying
- 1:21Speaker 3: it's going to draw about ninety thousand fans each night.
- 1:24Speaker 3: They have set up extra security precautions, one of them
- 1:26Speaker 3: banning and tickless fans from gathering outside of the stadium
- 1:29Speaker 3: because that was one of the things that liss ticket list,
- 1:33Speaker 3: because people just wanted to hear the music, be a
- 1:35Speaker 3: part of the experience and just want to pay, you know,
- 1:37Speaker 3: the money for it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I get that, like I. Unfortunately it's never happened, but
- 1:43Speaker 1: every time the Packers are in the NFC Championship, me
- 1:45Speaker 1: and my Packer friends, we always say, like, I'll go
- 1:48Speaker 1: to whatever city it's in. Of course, not going to
- 1:50Speaker 1: get into the game, but just to be there, be
- 1:52Speaker 1: there would be amazing. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Rumor also has it that Taylor and Travis, before they
- 1:57Speaker 3: even get engaged, they want to go through their prenup situation.
- 2:01Speaker 3: So insiders are saying she's worth about a million or
- 2:04Speaker 3: a billion, he's worth seventy million, And that's kind of
- 2:07Speaker 3: the discussion right now. They're just taking it to that level,
- 2:09Speaker 3: like making sure everything is good so that way when
- 2:12Speaker 3: they're engaged, they'll be able to just enjoy.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That and get married. It's crazy, I believe that, but
- 2:17Speaker 1: who knows. I don't believe it either, But they're both
- 2:20Speaker 1: so rich. But it's crazy how much more a billion
- 2:23Speaker 1: is than seventy million. I know, it's absolute peanuts compared.
- 2:27Speaker 3: And it'll be interesting to see if his net worth,
- 2:30Speaker 3: if that is including all the projects he did just
- 2:32Speaker 3: in the last six months.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I mean he's been everywhere. Yeah, but again that's just
- 2:36Speaker 1: a little here, a little there. I don't think he's
- 2:39Speaker 1: got You got to be next level to be getting
- 2:40Speaker 1: to the hundred millis Yeah, totally. I would know. You're right.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And Britney Spears's family home in Katwood, Louisiana, is open,
- 2:50Speaker 3: according to this new homeowner, to having all of the
- 2:53Speaker 3: scenes from her early years be a part of this
- 2:56Speaker 3: Britney biopic. The last November, this lady bought it for
- 2:59Speaker 3: one point two million dollars and she's saying, I will
- 3:03Speaker 3: let you guys take it over. Of course she wants compensation,
- 3:06Speaker 3: bring in whatever old things you want to make it
- 3:09Speaker 3: look like the eighties and nineties of when Brittany was there.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I love old stuff.
- 3:12Speaker 3: But she also dished, and she showed a picture of it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And I don't know if it's in Britney Spears closet,
- 3:18Speaker 3: the back of her room door, whatever it is. There's
- 3:21Speaker 3: childhood scribbling on the wall, but then there's also it
- 3:24Speaker 3: says on here Christina sucks britt rules. So I don't
- 3:28Speaker 3: know if that was in Britney's room, Jamie Lynde's room
- 3:31Speaker 3: or what, or if that was just made up.
- 3:33Speaker 1: A couple questions because the home sold for one point
- 3:35Speaker 1: two yes, is it because it's Britney Spears home or
- 3:38Speaker 1: is this like a nice home? I'm assuming it was
- 3:40Speaker 1: probably a nice home with a lot of property, probably
- 3:43Speaker 1: in a nice like established area maybe. But so then
- 3:46Speaker 1: in that case, of course it's been painted, who would
- 3:49Speaker 1: move in with it?
- 3:50Speaker 3: This is on like a wood like imagine a closet door,
- 3:53Speaker 3: or just like the back of a door, like your
- 3:55Speaker 3: old school wood doors. So maybe also there's concrete that
- 3:59Speaker 3: reads reads Love Britney, and she also left some art behind.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Remember the art dilemma with her and her mom. I
- 4:06Speaker 3: wonder if that's the art.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Have you ever put your hands or fingyprints in a
- 4:11Speaker 1: concrete a wet slab of concrete.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I feel like we did it my Grandma's at one point,
- 4:15Speaker 3: but nothing that really sticks out.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, we did once. I'll never forget. I was, I
- 4:20Speaker 1: want to say, like outside of thunder Road over there
- 4:22Speaker 1: in Fargo, So there's like concrete, and I remember stumbling
- 4:25Speaker 1: upon the sidewalk somebody when the concrete was still wet.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Oh no, wrote the word poop. Yeah. I mean it
- 4:33Speaker 1: could have been worse, but I know it's brilliant, it's perfect.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I couldn't have thought of a better thing to write
- 4:40Speaker 1: if I had that opportunity. So I don't know if
- 4:41Speaker 1: the poop sidewalk is still there. If anybody knows, I'd
- 4:44Speaker 1: love to find, Like when you're walking into thunder Road, yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 1: like from the parking lot. This is like I'm kind
- 4:51Speaker 1: of trying to remember, but I have a picture of it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and then there was a little gum next to it
- 4:56Speaker 1: smashed into the sidewalk. Are sounding familiar?
- 4:59Speaker 3: No, usually just like wrangling the kids in real quick.
- 5:02Speaker 3: So I miss all that the poop ups.
- 5:04Speaker 1: That's why you don't have kids. You miss out on
- 5:06Speaker 1: all the poops.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Stuff like it a minute in the morning, Big Natty
- 5:10Speaker 2: eight point seven.
- 5:11Speaker 1: People are suspecting that Travis Kelcey because if you've seen
- 5:14Speaker 1: Travis Kelcey now that he's back at training camp in
- 5:16Speaker 1: the NFL looking a little different, He's grown his hair out,
- 5:19Speaker 1: grown his mustache out, but then shaved his beard like
- 5:22Speaker 1: literally looks like a new man. And now people are
- 5:24Speaker 1: suspecting he's doing that because of Taylor Swift. In fact,
- 5:28Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes said in an interview he's been trying to
- 5:30Speaker 1: get Travis to grow his hair out forever, and now,
- 5:33Speaker 1: of course starts dating Taylor and she gets him to
- 5:35Speaker 1: ride away. So begs a question that happens in relationships.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know, women, they have a You get
- 5:41Speaker 1: a little wiggle room as far as like what you
- 5:43Speaker 1: want us to look like, because bottom line, we don't
- 5:45Speaker 1: really care, you know what I mean, Like if you
- 5:47Speaker 1: wanted me to grow my hair out, I'd be like, okay,
- 5:48Speaker 1: but there's.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Gonna be certain parts of your body or things at
- 5:52Speaker 3: your comfort where for you you usually have I mean,
- 5:55Speaker 3: you went full beard for a long time, but I
- 5:58Speaker 3: don't think i've You're clean shape in every once in
- 6:01Speaker 3: a while, but for the most part, you like to have.
- 6:02Speaker 1: A little scruff. Well, mostly because I can use a
- 6:05Speaker 1: clippers then and just like b and that's a lot
- 6:08Speaker 1: easier than taking out a straight razor. Yeah, because with
- 6:11Speaker 1: a straight razor you gotta like trim it down anyway
- 6:13Speaker 1: and then shave it. So it's just more of a
- 6:15Speaker 1: laziness thing, not a preference, although I think, yeah, you
- 6:18Speaker 1: prefer to have a little a little scruffy, little scruff
- 6:21Speaker 1: like I'm over the beard though. The beard it just
- 6:24Speaker 1: gets gross and not a beard girl, No, No, that's
- 6:28Speaker 1: not that was not my thing. Now The question is, though,
- 6:32Speaker 1: what has changed about you because of your partner? You know,
- 6:35Speaker 1: like what what have you done or what are you
- 6:37Speaker 1: noticing about yourself that's different than before you started dating
- 6:41Speaker 1: now that you've been with them, you know, things rub
- 6:43Speaker 1: off or maybe they like certain things that I've got
- 6:46Speaker 1: a couple of one in particular.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Of course, I'm a Bronco fan because that's I grew
- 6:50Speaker 3: up that way, my dad was. But since Nick and
- 6:53Speaker 3: I got together. Just the NFL in general, we don't
- 6:56Speaker 3: watch I mean, we'll watch football on Sundays.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But he is such a college sports. Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I had never gotten into college sports at all, and
- 7:04Speaker 3: so it's interesting.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Like when we met.
- 7:06Speaker 3: For me, I'm like, Okay, Saturday, we're gonna go do this.
- 7:08Speaker 1: It's like a no, we're not. Like that's not a Saturday,
- 7:12Speaker 1: are you insane? It's college sports, That's what it is.
- 7:15Speaker 3: And then on Sundays that's when we usually go and
- 7:18Speaker 3: do stuff because it's not as Uh.
- 7:20Speaker 1: That's so backwards and that's crazy. I much prefer the
- 7:23Speaker 1: NFL over college football and listen, I feel like every
- 7:26Speaker 1: other part of the country than here is like they
- 7:28Speaker 1: prefer college Like we lived in Florida for a few
- 7:30Speaker 1: years and in the South like that. It's like religion.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah it's crazy, but yeah, no, I think I'd rather
- 7:36Speaker 1: have Sunday be dedicated to the NFL and rather do
- 7:38Speaker 1: something else Saturday. But that was one thing.
- 7:40Speaker 3: And then you know, just not following along as much
- 7:43Speaker 3: with the Broncos just for a lot of reasons.
- 7:46Speaker 1: But it's easy. You just don't care as much when
- 7:49Speaker 1: they suck. I think that might be part there's.
- 7:52Speaker 3: That after Super Bowl fifty, it's been like, trust me,
- 7:55Speaker 3: it's downhill.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I have full confidence, Amanda, if they were to make
- 7:57Speaker 1: it back to the Super Bowl, you'd be right there,
- 7:59Speaker 1: root and right there.
- 8:01Speaker 3: At the parade and everything like I was the last
- 8:03Speaker 3: girl road.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Another one is just I used to have like fake eyelashes.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I had hair.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Extensions for a hot minute, bacon nails, pedicure, manicure all
- 8:16Speaker 3: the time. And my husband's not a fan of really
- 8:20Speaker 3: any of that, and that just kind of faded away.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's like he likes just natural beauty. How lucky for you? Yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 1: do you know financially if that is.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And also you know, when you have kids, it's like
- 8:30Speaker 3: mama's got to put a few of those things on halt.
- 8:32Speaker 3: But just in general, yeah, I can't even imagine that
- 8:35Speaker 3: I spent that much time doing some of those things.
- 8:38Speaker 1: But whatever. Yeah, well, yeah, what has changed about me
- 8:41Speaker 1: because of my wife our relationship. I think I like
- 8:43Speaker 1: going on walks more. Never was a walk guy.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Is that when you guys were in Florida long walks
- 8:49Speaker 3: on the beach for.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Walks on the beach and ouch. I mean my wife
- 8:52Speaker 1: every day goes in a walk that she can nice. Yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 1: so I'll join her and I never would have never
- 8:56Speaker 1: would have gone on walks before, but there's something about him.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Have you ever gone like on a walk? Yeah? Often? Actually,
- 9:03Speaker 1: then there's nothing to report. Is there something that I
- 9:06Speaker 1: should know about these walks, sir? There's very meditative. You
- 9:10Speaker 1: get a lot of thinking, talking done if you want to,
- 9:12Speaker 1: you know, I find out about each other. Yes, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't have to look at each other. That's a nice thing. Okay,
- 9:17Speaker 1: now that's a weird that's from the sign. Sorry, yeah,
- 9:21Speaker 1: really the walking date, it's the perfect day. You don't
- 9:23Speaker 1: actually have to look at the person.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And when you're talking about your wife, that was a
- 9:27Speaker 3: real flash trending.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Now here's what you need to know.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 9:34Speaker 3: There was a lot of speculation, but it was confirmed
- 9:36Speaker 3: yesterday the Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback JJ McCarthy will miss
- 9:40Speaker 3: the season after undergoing surgery on his right knee. The
- 9:43Speaker 3: Minnesota Vikings thought maybe it would be a month, but yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 3: it is the whole season. Nick mullins, he's got a
- 9:49Speaker 3: shot though, there'll be the number two quarterback.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Well, a change of plans now, because for sure I
- 9:54Speaker 1: know and I'm a Packer fan, and I'm not celebrating
- 9:56Speaker 1: the injury. Although I was there at US Bank Stadium
- 9:59Speaker 1: when and Rogers broke his collarbone. In the entire stadium
- 10:02Speaker 1: erupted in cheers when it was announced that he would
- 10:05Speaker 1: be out for the rest of the game. That was brutal.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I remember how upset you were, obviously in the same situation.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Literally the highest of highs. I'm like, in this brand
- 10:13Speaker 1: new stadium, in the press box somehow I snuck my
- 10:16Speaker 1: way in there, you remember, and loving every moment, and
- 10:18Speaker 1: then suddenly that happens in the first quarter. I'm like, oh,
- 10:21Speaker 1: this now sucks. Now I hate this. But anyway, back
- 10:24Speaker 1: to JJ McCarthy. You know, the plan was to start
- 10:26Speaker 1: Sam Darnold and then eventually probably transitioned to JJ depending
- 10:29Speaker 1: on how it's going. And now that won't happen. I
- 10:31Speaker 1: don't know if they had Super Bowl aspirations, although my
- 10:34Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure they do some fans anyway.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Of course, and those same fans are all up on
- 10:39Speaker 3: the hashtag next year once again.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But once we'll see it, we'll see it. You know.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's and I'm not being cheeky here, it's got to
- 10:48Speaker 1: happen one of these years for you, you would.
- 10:51Speaker 3: At some point, right, at some point, Governor waltz Is
- 10:54Speaker 3: accepted CBS's proposal to debate JD. Vance on October first. However,
- 10:58Speaker 3: Vance has not yet responded. I'm assuming he's probably going
- 11:00Speaker 3: to go ahead with it, unless he wanted a different network.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I don't really know.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I feel like that's one of their biggest fights, is
- 11:06Speaker 3: network Candle it's going to be on Yes. He when
- 11:09Speaker 3: he was formally announces Harris's running mate, said he couldn't
- 11:13Speaker 3: wait to debate Vance. That's if he's willing to get
- 11:15Speaker 3: up off the couch and show up.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Walton. Vance have been trading shots.
- 11:18Speaker 3: If you've been following along, The biggest one hot button
- 11:21Speaker 3: is over the military service record between both of them.
- 11:25Speaker 1: What they've wanted to Advance. Advance served in the military, right.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Marine, I believe, and some are saying he was just writing.
- 11:33Speaker 1: What was he doing he was writing books? Is that
- 11:36Speaker 1: a job in the military writing or dad entry or
- 11:38Speaker 1: something like that. I don't know what now are we
- 11:41Speaker 1: doing that? Are we doing that? Because there are a
- 11:42Speaker 1: lot of different roles in the military, of course, but
- 11:45Speaker 1: the fact that you're serving at all I don't care
- 11:47Speaker 1: if you're good for the band. My dad always wanted
- 11:49Speaker 1: us to join the band in the military, which.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Really I didn't what h What I would like to
- 11:54Speaker 3: know is what you're going to do for the country.
- 11:56Speaker 1: How are you best serving me? I don't need to
- 11:58Speaker 1: know about your.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Past stuff, Like I'm a future person.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Well, I mean, obviously to a point, the past is relevant. Well, yes,
- 12:07Speaker 1: especially also they're saying, like what level he is in
- 12:10Speaker 1: the military, right, he says one thing and they say
- 12:12Speaker 1: they changed it and he wasn't quite that level that rank.
- 12:16Speaker 3: The website actually ended up getting changed at one point
- 12:19Speaker 3: a website, the website where they had had all of
- 12:21Speaker 3: his information and then they changed it, so there was
- 12:24Speaker 3: there was maybe a little fib there, But yeah, tell
- 12:27Speaker 3: me what we got moving forward.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's what I want to hear with splitting hairs. Was
- 12:32Speaker 1: he in what he is it OWL something or what's
- 12:35Speaker 1: the letter lieutenant? Now the rank in the military, you're like,
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's like one through nine. But anyway, I think he
- 12:41Speaker 1: said he was an eight or nine, and but really
- 12:43Speaker 1: maybe he was.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Eight and a half. Huh eight and a half maybe
- 12:47Speaker 3: can you be a half.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Eight and a half? Still pretty impressive.
- 12:51Speaker 3: All right, A decision on whether or not these two
- 12:54Speaker 3: astronauts that are stuck in space will return to Earth
- 12:57Speaker 3: will be made by the end of the month.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, can you even imagine talk about a one
- 13:01Speaker 1: of one de Lamma somebody could be in like, nobody
- 13:05Speaker 1: else has had this issue. When can I come back
- 13:07Speaker 1: to Earth? You know I've done thankfully, I've never had
- 13:12Speaker 1: to worry about that. So they went up in the
- 13:15Speaker 1: Boeing star Liner. Star Liner. This was back in June.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And if it's determined that the astronauts cannot return on
- 13:22Speaker 3: the star Liner, then they're going to be forced to
- 13:23Speaker 3: wait until February.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Here's the problem.
- 13:26Speaker 3: The craft had problems in several of its twenty eight
- 13:29Speaker 3: reaction control thrusters.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Thrusters, the thrusters speaking out, who's up there? Is a
- 13:35Speaker 1: is it a little co ed situation?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Is and NASA's trying to figure out what happened and
- 13:40Speaker 3: how they're.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Going to get them back down there. If you're if
- 13:42Speaker 1: you're the spouse of these people, that you've got to
- 13:45Speaker 1: be in hell, right, just the.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Panic mode in general, how do you just relax up there?
- 13:50Speaker 3: It's like, if this could be it, they.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Don't know how to get us downe yeah, And if
- 13:53Speaker 1: you think you might not be coming back down, I'm
- 13:55Speaker 1: just saying I'm going to You're going to do some
- 13:56Speaker 1: things in the face though. Is that an option? I
- 13:59Speaker 1: think I would. Yeah, just think of what you'd be
- 14:02Speaker 1: capable of. But then the aftermath, where's that gonna go?
- 14:06Speaker 1: Is that all floating around? Gosh?
- 14:09Speaker 3: I don't know how any of that works, and I
- 14:10Speaker 3: honestly don't want to think about it. Rainy today, like yes.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Like it take a man in the morning.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Did you hear the story this lady, this lunch lady
- 14:22Speaker 1: who's now in prison. No, unbelievable. So her name is Viralda.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Did everybody right away?
- 14:29Speaker 3: I just went to the lunch lady, like everybody has
- 14:32Speaker 3: in their mind the lunch lady.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I know it's person, and actually went to cause I
- 14:37Speaker 1: went to Dialarth Glennon Feldon and I went. My nephew
- 14:40Speaker 1: Liam goes there now, and there was like take somebody
- 14:42Speaker 1: to lunch day. I went and had lunch with him
- 14:45Speaker 1: in the same lunch room that I went in junior
- 14:48Speaker 1: high school. And I looked, I no identical, and in
- 14:52Speaker 1: fact I looked at the lunch ladies and I'm like,
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm not positive, but I think that's the same exact
- 14:57Speaker 1: lineup of once. We're pretty good either that or just
- 15:00Speaker 1: it attracts the same kind of person anyway, and we
- 15:02Speaker 1: love them. Well, now, this lady Via Ladell, she was
- 15:05Speaker 1: a lunch lady for a decade at this school. Well now,
- 15:08Speaker 1: during the pandemic, you know, there's some jobs were shifting,
- 15:11Speaker 1: and she was put in charge of ordering the food
- 15:13Speaker 1: for the school. So it's now been discovered after an
- 15:16Speaker 1: audit that they realized the school had gone way over
- 15:19Speaker 1: their budget on food. So they had done some investigating
- 15:22Speaker 1: and it turned out overall span of nineteen months, Vera
- 15:25Speaker 1: Ladell had stolen one point five million dollars hang on
- 15:32Speaker 1: of wings, chicken wings, drummis. I don't remember. I remember
- 15:37Speaker 1: getting wings grown that was never on the menu, never
- 15:41Speaker 1: got wings. But at the same time, would you want
- 15:42Speaker 1: the wings the school is going to probably serve? I think,
- 15:45Speaker 1: So I'm a wing guy, and I think that would
- 15:48Speaker 1: be pretty bad. You think, I don't know i'd be
- 15:50Speaker 1: up for Have you ever warmed up like, you know,
- 15:52Speaker 1: frozen wings in the throw them in the oven? And
- 15:55Speaker 1: I don't like Tgi Friday wings.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you got a air fry them, Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 3: for sure, but you're not sure they're air frying them
- 16:01Speaker 3: at the school.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Sure, the elementary school's air twenty twenty four, I would
- 16:05Speaker 1: think so. So they find out that she'd been stealing
- 16:08Speaker 1: all of this food, and so they're like, hey, that's
- 16:12Speaker 1: not okay, and so they convict her. She now what
- 16:15Speaker 1: they said, Hey, that's what the sheriff said when he
- 16:18Speaker 1: found out. Not okay, that's not okay. So now she
- 16:24Speaker 1: is in prison. I mean, yes, stole exactly exactly. Man.
- 16:31Speaker 1: At the same time, here's a great mystery though they
- 16:33Speaker 1: don't know what happened to the wings, because she couldn't
- 16:36Speaker 1: possibly have eaten all those wings, right, that's a lot
- 16:39Speaker 1: of wings.
- 16:39Speaker 3: They didn't do an investigation into her deep freeze or
- 16:44Speaker 3: I guess.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They couldn't get the Sabina or her other family members.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Not subpoena. What's the word if you wanted to look
- 16:51Speaker 1: in something warrant? Duh? Duh? You just wanted to say sabina.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I do like Sabina as far as words go. And
- 16:59Speaker 1: so now it enter. This is a total left turn.
- 17:02Speaker 1: But I don't know if you're familiar with I mean,
- 17:04Speaker 1: obviously we know Patrick Mahomes, we know Travis Kelsey, but
- 17:07Speaker 1: do you know Chris Jones, defensive tackle for the Kansas
- 17:11Speaker 1: City Chiefs. Oh no, where does he fall into the max?
- 17:14Speaker 1: It turns out he was the one eating the wings?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Got it? No, So he sees this story that this
- 17:19Speaker 1: lady is in prison, and so he now posted that
- 17:23Speaker 1: he wants to offer one point five million dollars because
- 17:26Speaker 1: he just signed one hundred and fifty eight million dollar contract.
- 17:29Speaker 1: He wants to pay for the wings to free the
- 17:31Speaker 1: woman from prison. Why because he did a squad It
- 17:35Speaker 1: was a mistake, and she just wants her to not
- 17:37Speaker 1: have to serve prison time. Everybody deserves a second chance,
- 17:40Speaker 1: to be fair. But if you kill somebody, I don't know. Well,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm not saying this is the same as killing somebody.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I mean, she did the crime, you do the time. Absolutely,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I don't know what her sentences. I probably look that up.
- 17:52Speaker 1: But basically he wants to pay to get her out. However,
- 17:55Speaker 1: unfortunately that's not how the justice system works.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Has she contacted Kim Carti and she's really good at this.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I hear getting people getting people out of prison.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, does this qualify I don't know. I don't think so.
- 18:07Speaker 3: And I'm guessing feeling money from a pumpy maybe a
- 18:10Speaker 3: week it's one point five million dollars.
- 18:12Speaker 1: She's probably not. That's probably in white collar jail. You
- 18:15Speaker 1: know what do they call that federal prison where you
- 18:17Speaker 1: get to like play tennis and stuff.
- 18:19Speaker 3: That's not all bad that Do you think she's working
- 18:20Speaker 3: in the lunch room. That would be kind of cool.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That maybe, actually, yeah, probably makes perfect sense. Don't put
- 18:25Speaker 1: her in charge of the spending.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Nope, Amanda in the morning on Sage.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Seven, the gen Z young kids, you know, yeah, they
- 18:35Speaker 1: are buying vintage cassette tapes because you know, we've gone
- 18:38Speaker 1: through the vinyl phase of that being like for us,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know, it's a millennials gen X like that's cool.
- 18:44Speaker 1: But now gen Z vintage for them is tapes. So
- 18:47Speaker 1: they're buying them like crazy. However, there's a bit of
- 18:49Speaker 1: a problem, Amanda. What's that they don't know how to
- 18:52Speaker 1: play them. They don't is a encountering where to go
- 18:56Speaker 1: to a store and get a cassette player. Well, they
- 18:58Speaker 1: get the tape, the cassette tape, and they look at
- 18:59Speaker 1: the Okay, I've got this now, how do I make
- 19:02Speaker 1: it make the sound?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Oh gosh, my stepdad, he has still and it's my
- 19:08Speaker 3: old one.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We'll take you backpike.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Yeah, the two cassettes on the front and then the
- 19:12Speaker 3: five disc changer on the top.
- 19:14Speaker 1: For the Oh I know, I think we all had
- 19:16Speaker 1: the same boombox. Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Of course he's using the tuner for ninety eight point
- 19:20Speaker 3: seven most of the time, but.
- 19:21Speaker 1: He yeah, good strong signal on those things.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yes, he does have a couple of cassettes though, and
- 19:27Speaker 3: the kids grabbed it. This was probably a couple of
- 19:29Speaker 3: months ago, and they thought they were like little mini
- 19:32Speaker 3: cell phones, like, oh, look at this, and they just
- 19:34Speaker 3: thought they were the coolest thing.
- 19:37Speaker 1: That's cute. Oh boy, that's cute. Now the people are saying, like,
- 19:41Speaker 1: you know, they they struggled to find how to play,
- 19:44Speaker 1: so they are going like eBay because you know, they
- 19:45Speaker 1: don't just sell tape players on the red these days.
- 19:48Speaker 1: But it's uh, you know, we thought about actually, Amanda,
- 19:51Speaker 1: so I played a band and we released this album
- 19:54Speaker 1: titled ain by Low Standards, and we wanted to release
- 19:58Speaker 1: some of cool cassettes because we knew that this was
- 20:00Speaker 1: like happening and it's very expensive, very even really even
- 20:04Speaker 1: more expensive to do a vinyl, like an insane amount
- 20:07Speaker 1: of money to print a vinyl, so not to buy
- 20:10Speaker 1: one necessarily. Do you own any vinyl or anything like that.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Don't I think I am pretty sure. There's some stuff
- 20:16Speaker 3: at the lake house that my mom had a few.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I remember being a youngster in the nineties and my
- 20:24Speaker 3: mom having an eight track player and I brought it
- 20:27Speaker 3: in my room thinking it was the coolest, and I
- 20:29Speaker 3: think she had like Alabama and the Beach Boys. But
- 20:32Speaker 3: playing eight tracks at that point in my life was
- 20:35Speaker 3: just like what is this thing?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, I mean, And the thing with vinyl is
- 20:40Speaker 1: like they it's supposed to sound so good, you know,
- 20:43Speaker 1: this really authentic sound. And my dad had one when
- 20:45Speaker 1: it must have been his dad's, but it was in
- 20:47Speaker 1: our basement. So yeah, I remember throwing on a few vinyls.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I remember that going through that. You must not have
- 20:52Speaker 1: lived at my house, I guess, yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 3: No, well, just in general, like I don't ever remember
- 20:56Speaker 3: records and going through.
- 20:57Speaker 1: The well we were even when we were kids. It
- 20:59Speaker 1: was way ask that, you know, but still there was
- 21:02Speaker 1: one around the house and we listen, what does that
- 21:04Speaker 1: student so happy? Together? H me? I remember these were
- 21:10Speaker 1: just like a sitcom. Just it really was. It was
- 21:12Speaker 1: just the perfect upbringing. Nothing bad happened, it was just
- 21:15Speaker 1: an ideal childhood.
- 21:20Speaker 2: In the morning on big Nutty eight points.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Well, there's a good chance you're probably headed to work,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and I'm guessing you're not like speeding there because you're
- 21:27Speaker 1: so dang excited to get going to get working. So
- 21:30Speaker 1: I want to do a little refresher for everybody, because
- 21:33Speaker 1: you don't have to be miserable at work. Of course,
- 21:35Speaker 1: there are some things you can do to not only
- 21:37Speaker 1: make yourself more productive, but happier at work. Got some tips,
- 21:41Speaker 1: hit me with it. Of course, I'm an expert in
- 21:43Speaker 1: this field. You know that. I mean, of course you're
- 21:45Speaker 1: obviously smiling every day. Meditate for a minute before starting
- 21:49Speaker 1: any work. Have you ever done any form of meditation?
- 21:51Speaker 1: My brain will not allow it. No, So I.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Tried practicing a lot in the spring springtime. I have
- 21:59Speaker 3: a app it's like through Peloton, and it's, you know,
- 22:02Speaker 3: a five minute, quick little meditation. I'll do it every
- 22:05Speaker 3: once in a while, but it will either be I
- 22:08Speaker 3: cannot shut down what they're saying, like I will be
- 22:11Speaker 3: in this Okay, you're taking me on this journey. And
- 22:14Speaker 3: then two seconds later I'm like, okay, so the kids,
- 22:17Speaker 3: do we have mac and cheese? Sid probably needs Oh
- 22:20Speaker 3: you gotta make sure this is I mean, my mind
- 22:22Speaker 3: just impossible.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Crazy. Can we all now have these stupid busy brains
- 22:26Speaker 1: that never shut off? Yeah? I stimulated.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I ended up doing it one time and it was
- 22:33Speaker 3: after a workout, and I just burst into tears. It
- 22:36Speaker 3: was like one of those that it made me It's
- 22:39Speaker 3: like it actually worked, it like calmed me down, but
- 22:41Speaker 3: then I started crying. It was the weirdest experience.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I think there's something else going on.
- 22:46Speaker 3: But it was like one of those things where he
- 22:47Speaker 3: was just say I was so relaxed.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I don't know anyway, that's wild. No, I've tried meditation
- 22:53Speaker 1: for like sleeping where you listen to these you know,
- 22:56Speaker 1: really gently speaking people, pretend you're leftime, like you're losing
- 23:01Speaker 1: all feeling in your legs, and then yeah, my brain
- 23:04Speaker 1: just will not I become aware of I'm trying to
- 23:06Speaker 1: shut my brain off, and then it just does the opposite.
- 23:08Speaker 1: But no, a work do a little do a little
- 23:10Speaker 1: meditating before you gotta get like project you want to
- 23:12Speaker 1: start or stop whining. I think that's a good one. Yes,
- 23:15Speaker 1: most of us are unproductive because we're just complaining to
- 23:17Speaker 1: ourselves that it's just everything sucks.
- 23:20Speaker 3: So you're probably spending more time complaining about actually doing
- 23:23Speaker 3: something than just doing it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I want you to start doing it, just kind of again,
- 23:27Speaker 1: back to turning your mind off, as hard as that is,
- 23:30Speaker 1: but just stop thinking about and just do it. And
- 23:32Speaker 1: that's actually on here. It's just like do the thing,
- 23:35Speaker 1: the thing that you've been putting off and stressing about,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and it's just constantly like in the back of your head.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You know how good that feels, just to do it. Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 1: got it. Nike had it right though, Just do it, babe.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Back to the stop whining though. Yeah, that's like another
- 23:48Speaker 1: you just got to decide to have fun another tip
- 23:50Speaker 1: on the list. Just gosh, the conscious decision to be
- 23:53Speaker 1: you know what, this is just part of my life. Like,
- 23:55Speaker 1: let's just make the most of it. Let's just chock
- 23:58Speaker 1: that up to we do that. Just have fun, Pike
- 24:02Speaker 1: and Amanda in the morning. No, I mean, listen, we
- 24:04Speaker 1: just have fun. It's a little easier though, when you're
- 24:06Speaker 1: like doing these silly conversations rather than like fireing off,
- 24:10Speaker 1: grind a long email or you know, I don't know,
- 24:13Speaker 1: what do people do come up with the reports like
- 24:15Speaker 1: anything like that. I can't imagine getting super hyped up
- 24:18Speaker 1: about an Excel spreadsheet.
- 24:19Speaker 3: But that or just how tedious it would be to
- 24:21Speaker 3: go through some of those motions.
- 24:23Speaker 1: But every job has their thing. Yeah, but every job,
- 24:25Speaker 1: if you're in the office, like, just find a way
- 24:27Speaker 1: to have some fun. Rib Tina down the hall a
- 24:30Speaker 1: little I don't know, put a put a sticky note
- 24:32Speaker 1: on her door that says, I uh, I tell me,
- 24:36Speaker 1: what would it say? What's good? I'm not good at
- 24:39Speaker 1: inner office? Goofs Are you kidding me? You're the inner office?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Yeah right, it's been years since I've goofed. I'm trying
- 24:45Speaker 1: to what would be a good thing. You got Tina
- 24:47Speaker 1: down the hall. You're sitting in your office, work on
- 24:49Speaker 1: a spreadsheet, so you want to have a little bit
- 24:51Speaker 1: of fun. What could you do seven night seven if
- 24:55Speaker 1: you have a suggestion? Because we literally have a Tina
- 24:57Speaker 1: here and I love you who also sits a Banita,
- 25:01Speaker 1: which is just fun. Tina and Banita, yeah, you know,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and they do kind of the same thing, and so
- 25:05Speaker 1: it's just it's a little dynamic duo. We love them,
- 25:07Speaker 1: all right, I'm gonna get back down. What to write
- 25:09Speaker 1: on the sticky note? And is that even the thing
- 25:11Speaker 1: writing on a sticky note? I mean, I would.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Love that there was a gal who used to work
- 25:15Speaker 3: here who every once in a while would put like
- 25:16Speaker 3: a sticky note on my desk. I hope you have
- 25:19Speaker 3: a great day. You look beautiful, just like really kind things.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a guy here that used to do that
- 25:24Speaker 1: to me. Really, that's great, it'll be funny. Hey listen,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'll take it from anybody you want to compliment me
- 25:32Speaker 1: via a sticky note. I'm supply room.
- 25:35Speaker 3: And let's just should we leave sticky notes all over
- 25:37Speaker 3: the office today for.
- 25:38Speaker 1: This for everybody, little treats, little treasures. I like it. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: look at us injecting positivity into people's lives. You know,
- 25:44Speaker 1: that's what we strive to do every day here. It's
- 25:46Speaker 1: piking a man in the morning.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Pike it a manda in the morning on.
- 25:52Speaker 1: No offense if you're eight years old and listening. But
- 25:55Speaker 1: if I were to like pick a person to help
- 25:57Speaker 1: defend me against a criminal, like, I'm not going to
- 25:59Speaker 1: go with any eight year old. I mean they might
- 26:01Speaker 1: have a good defense if I needed somebody to teach
- 26:03Speaker 1: me how to play Fortnite. Yeah, but yeah, probably consider
- 26:06Speaker 1: an eight year old. But this, though, this is incredible.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I don't know if you've seen this story. This is
- 26:10Speaker 1: down in the Twin Cities area. Okay, a little suburb
- 26:12Speaker 1: called Maple Wood. Oh yeah, familiar, No everybody else yep,
- 26:18Speaker 1: not Maple Grove, maple Wood. So there's a liquor store
- 26:21Speaker 1: down there where a man named Leo is the owner.
- 26:24Speaker 1: He's working, okay, so he's standing at the counter. Now
- 26:27Speaker 1: incomes a man named Morrel. Now Morell is dressed as
- 26:30Speaker 1: an Amazon Amazon delivery driver because he is an Amazon
- 26:34Speaker 1: delivery driver. But that's not what he was there to do.
- 26:37Speaker 1: He was there to rob the place. Wow, it got
- 26:40Speaker 1: into morel but he decided I'm gonna get some money.
- 26:42Speaker 1: So he walks in and the video surveillance shows that
- 26:44Speaker 1: he walks up to the counter where Leo, the owner
- 26:46Speaker 1: is standing, pulls out a very realistic looking beadye gun.
- 26:50Speaker 1: So we all know we've seen him, but it's like
- 26:53Speaker 1: like a pellet. They it looks like a gun, and
- 26:55Speaker 1: in that moment, you're you're not gonna think You're just
- 26:58Speaker 1: gonna treat it as a gun, he says.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Is he still just looking like an Amazon delivery guy
- 27:03Speaker 3: or does he have stripped down and put on his pajamas?
- 27:07Speaker 3: Is a mask on or anything? Or can you see
- 27:10Speaker 3: him clear his day? You can see him clear as day.
- 27:14Speaker 3: He's still looking like an Amazon driver because he is one.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Got to be fair. Although Amazon, for the record, I'll
- 27:19Speaker 1: fast forward a bit here they say he's been immediately
- 27:21Speaker 1: off boarded, I no longer with the company. So it's
- 27:26Speaker 1: about nine thirty pm when he's got this gun. He says,
- 27:29Speaker 1: give me the money and everything in the register. Now.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Leo of course says, yes, I'll give you everything. You
- 27:35Speaker 1: know why he was so willing to work with him,
- 27:38Speaker 1: It is because, well, Leo's eight year old daughter was
- 27:40Speaker 1: in the store. Oh my, now you got a gun.
- 27:43Speaker 1: You got your daughter. You're like, you're not gonna You're
- 27:45Speaker 1: not gonna let anything bad happen. Well, then the video
- 27:48Speaker 1: shows Morel walk behind the counter with his gun in hand,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and his daughter, of course is there. So Leo said
- 27:56Speaker 1: at that point, I'm not gonna let this happen, punches
- 27:59Speaker 1: Morel in the face and then there's a little tussle
- 28:02Speaker 1: that ensues. Oh my gosh, what happens next, Amanda, We'll
- 28:07Speaker 1: shock you. Surveillance shows the eight year old daughter, who
- 28:12Speaker 1: now has a baseball bat in her hand, and goes
- 28:17Speaker 1: full Mark maguire on this Robber Morell starts hitting him
- 28:22Speaker 1: with the baseball bat.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I mean, that's kind of what you
- 28:26Speaker 3: would assume would happen in the movies. But in that situation,
- 28:30Speaker 3: would you even think to do that? I'd be scared
- 28:31Speaker 3: to death. Uh yeah. So that that point, Morrell decides, Okay,
- 28:37Speaker 3: this is enough. I've got dad punching me, I've got
- 28:40Speaker 3: an eight year old drilling me. Please been arrested now, obviously,
- 28:47Speaker 3: but just a hero that this eight year old would
- 28:49Speaker 3: step in like that. No, I'm guessing if your dad,
- 28:51Speaker 3: that's just probably not what you would want, like, thank you,
- 28:54Speaker 3: but please don't next time, you know. So, they asked her,
- 28:58Speaker 3: I guess the dad asked this girl the next like,
- 29:00Speaker 3: why would you do that?
- 29:01Speaker 1: What made you want to do that? And her only
- 29:03Speaker 1: answer was that she wanted to defend her dad because
- 29:07Speaker 1: she loved him so much. Of course, Oh my gosh,
- 29:10Speaker 1: and how horrifying.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Mm hm, I mean that's a story to tell, but
- 29:14Speaker 3: thankfully nobody was seriously injured.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Well, you know, morele the bad guy for his part
- 29:19Speaker 1: in the mugshot. You can see he's got like a
- 29:21Speaker 1: bloody eye and stuff. No word on if that's from
- 29:23Speaker 1: Leo's right hook or is it from the Lewis eight
- 29:26Speaker 1: year old daughter's name A bad slope pitch. No, oh, slugger,
- 29:33Speaker 1: Louisville slugger. There you go, that's the one. That's the
- 29:35Speaker 1: number one answer, like it
- 29:37Speaker 2: A minute in the morning, Big nainety eight point seven
