Receipts, breadcrumbs, or Pixar vibes. Let's do this. Let's do this. do this. Before you go, don't forget to follow the podcast and leave us a review. It really helps the show grow. Come hang out with us on Instagram at at chasing them magic pod. And if you have theories, questions or Disney drama we should talk about, email us at chasing them magic pod at gmail.com. Thanks for listening and we'll see you next time as we keep chasing the magic. Ta ta for now. Laura: How many days? Eight. Eight? You're booking Lightning Lanes tomorrow. I'm booking which I was gonna say Lightning Lanes tomorrow morning, 5 a.m. If you I will be awake if you Why will you be awake? I'm starting work early. ⁓ okay. I won't be awake that early. But I can be awake that early. I I think everything should be Chasing The Magic: Hey everyone, I'm Laura. And I'm Lindy. Grab your Mickey ears. It's time to chase the magic. Laura: Like you have the schedule. Mm-hmm. If anything gets ruined, it's gonna be tomorrow. Unless you already know. ⁓ no, I don't already know. Why would it be ruined tomorrow? I don't know. I just have a feeling something's gonna pop up when you're trying to book a lightning lane. I don't know. No. I think we're gonna be good. Chasing The Magic: It's time for making memories and dreaming like daddies. Laura: I hope so. I I don't I don't think so. I if you figure I wasn't even if you figure something out, just pretend like you're surprised. I don't know. I wasn't even thinking. I think the only one I would figure out is whatever Hollywood Studios is. I don't think because it's in the park, or at least it has at least I'm assuming it is. That's the only thing I would think I would figure out. I don't know. But the one on But you know all the times for everything, which means you're not gonna be look booking lightning lanes for that time. Right. So like Hollywood Studios, I have Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog around eleven. And then Rise at one thirty, because our lunch I think is at twelve thirty. I said one thirty or two or later, question mark. So I'll probably aim for like Two. Okay. Yeah. And we were gonna do shows in the afternoon? Uh-huh. We gotta try and pick up Mickey and Minnie's runaway rollway. That's the only one. First thing in the morning. No. Would you like to go with I thought we were rope dropping that one. No, we're rope dropping Rock and Roller Coaster. You said I swear you said I said our runaway. So you might have thought. No, I did. I thought we We're rope dropping runaway rolly. I was like, interesting choice, but okay. These were like the lines be long. I was like, Okay. It's not. Not for Mickey and Minnie's. No, we're rope dropping rock and roller coaster. Yes, because the issue I was having was our tier ones. Yeah. Slinky dog, rockin', and Mickey and Minnie's are tier ones. The little cheat sheet I found says Mickey and Minnie's has a lot more drops than Slinky Dog, like later in the day. So I was like, well, let's lightning lane, Slinky Dog. Lightning Lane Toy Story Mania. And we're also but we're also gonna Lightning Lane Tower of Terror. So do we wanna walk through my plan right now and we'll see how it compares to in a week when we actually talk about what we're actually doing? Yeah. Okay. Here's my ideal plan. Okay. Well now we're lifting to Caribbean Beach. Heck yeah, we are. I'm telling you, Mickey Turtle waffles are live streams. ⁓ my gosh. You're never gonna want a regular Mickey waffle again, but I mean They're still good. Don't get me wrong. But like, my gosh. ⁓ so we're going to Caribbean Beach, which they now sell Mickey Truer waffles for breakfast for their ⁓ at their quick service location. We're gonna try and leave. I think we need to try and catch our lift by six forty five, but I don't know all the girlies time issues. ⁓ say we tell them six thirty. Yeah. But we really need to be 645. Well, and we really need so depending on where we land, we need to be at, I'm assuming lift pickup would be at the front, like the carousel, is that they call it? Yeah. So that's a 10, 15 minute walk. We're ⁓ doing AI this different things. It said the biggest complaint, if you will, with Saratoga is that. It takes longer to walk from place to place because it is such a big property. But we But the buses aren't an issue because I was worried about like bus stop, like time, like they said, like based on what I read, it that won't be an issue. But we have to kind of build in an extra 10 to 15 minutes. Okay. So but we're but for that day especially, but the we requested our second request was bus stop location. Yes. So there's like multiple bus stops. Yes, and that is one of the last ones. But I'm still being told because I asked specifically for the the area we requested if that'll be an issue and it said no. Okay. So well we'll see. Okay. It's at I mean peak times, of course. Like we might have to stand, but I mean yeah, that's anywhere. Also, I don't know. I guess the only way boating would make sense is if we're going to Disney Springs. Yeah. So we're gonna get our Mickey True waffles. Yep. We're going to but this is ⁓ no, this is the first day. Yeah. I keep getting Mickey. Me too. We're gonna get our Mickey Tour waffles, mobile order them to go. Mm-hmm. Eat them on the Skyliner or in line. Yes. Because we need to. Also, we don't know how how far the the the front area of Caribbean Beach is from the seaside grill. It looked like it was a walk. So See this is we're gonna This is giving me anxiety. No, but it'll be fine. ⁓ my gosh. ⁓ my gosh. If worse, worst case, we have to wait in line for a little bit at rockin'. Yes. But I still don't think it'll be that bad. So we we're wanna rope drop rockin'. I wanna be at the gates of Hollywood Studios at 8 a.m. That's my goal. ⁓ my gosh. I I feel like that's a that's even like That's like a lot of buffer. Okay. For us to ta it' us to take an hour at between getting our food at Caribbean Beach. Getting out of our lift, walking to the grill, getting our food, fine walking back to the Skyliner. Right. I think it's grinding the Skyliner. We'll see. That's true. That's true. We'll see. But I still think it'll be okay. We'll see. So we rope drop that. Depending on what time we get off of it, I want to do our Tower of Terror Lightning Lane between nine and 10. And then here's and then depending on time of that, we can take our pictures down in Hollywood Boulevard. We can go get our Starbucks before Tower of Terror, or we can go get our Starbucks after Tower of Terror. I'm gonna say after. That's what I'm saying too. That's on the plan, but I don't know how coffee people are gonna be. No, I'll be fine. I would rather not ride that with anything in my stuff. Okay. If and if yeah. So and then we're gonna make our way towards Toy Storyland. Okay. Just chill, see what Mickey if Mickey and Minnie's looks chill, pop on Mickey and Minnie's. Make our way towards Toy Story Land, get our Pop Tarts, Slinky Dog and Toy Story Mania between eleven and twelve, wherever we have to go for lunch at twelve thirty, rise, probably closer to two, and then we're just gonna hit the shows in the afternoon. Yeah. AC. Yep. Sitting, chilling. Solid plan. Phantasmics at nine. Mm-hmm. Which is when the park closes that night. Which is when the park hours closed right. Yeah. So they're gonna usher us right out. We can do shopping in that point. I mean, I think like that afternoon's gonna be very chill. If nobody, if like there's someone who doesn't want to watch shows, they can skadoodle, go back to the resort and come back, up to them. Mm-hmm. So on. All right. Epcot. Mm-hmm. Epcot, we are rope dropping Remy's, which means we have to walk from the front of the park all the way back to the France Pavilion. Yep. Which here's my thing with that one. We waited in that Remy's line. I say if somebody Needs to Sorry, can't tell if that's a wasp or just a really big fly. Starbucks can be done like we can split, right? Where's it? Starbucks and Epcot? I don't know. They've changed it a lot since they redid it. We'll have to look it up. I don't think I've ever gotten a Starbucks and Epcot. ⁓ yes. ⁓ it's in the main ⁓ where the food, all the food is, in the middle. No, it's not the middle. It's the it's toward That's toward Guardians. Yeah. Yeah. That's not the most convenient spot. But still, well, I don't know. Well, if we enter, if we mm. If we enter in Epcot and just go, would it be left instead of right? Am I thinking about that correctly? If you're looking You go under Spaceship Earth, right? And we need to go to the right to get to France. Okay, well then that doesn't work. Yeah, that's okay. Anyways, or not. But we're gonna rope drop Remy's and we're gonna come back down. depending on what time it is, if The countries are open. If we want to stop and get something in the country stores or whatever, that's I say we do France last regardless. That's Canada and the UK. We can chill in there, come down, or we check the wait for Soren and we book it to Soren and we wait in line for Soren. And then we're gonna try and get our guardians for one or two. And so we come back around, come back down, eat a lunch, go shopping. kind of chill morning and then after our guardians we start our trek around the world. Okay. So I say, okay, I think this is probably what you just said, but I think if we're if we're we're not because we're not lightning lighting that day. Then I think we need to immediately go from Remy's to Soren. Okay. And then book our guardians as close to that time as possible. So you think earlier than one? I say so. That way we can just focus on the countries in the afternoon. That's why I not have to worry about I originally had eleven or twelve and then I had one or two. I wrote But really Guardians could be any time because it's so close to the end of the park. We could do it we could do it last. Yeah. Either way. Either way. We'll see. But if we if we are wanting to leave the park by a certain time to make sure we get back and get ready, then we might wanna Mean we can. We can totally do that. We can hit Remy's. They open at eight thirty and then book it to Soren. We can be on Soren by ten and we can I can have it at Guardians by eleven. Mm-hmm. We can try for and then our return time would be eleven to twelve ish. I think that'd be good. And then we can do lunch and then eat and well, we're gonna basically snack around the world anyway, right? So Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna need something in the morning though. To eat? Yeah. We could always do ⁓ crepes at the that was gross. I know, I didn't really like them either. Yeah. ⁓ we'll just maybe grab something light, like a ⁓ we'll add protein bars or we'll add yeah. Protein pop tarts. Protein shakes, something Protein Pop Tarts are delicious. Or get two orders of Mickey True waffles and eat them the next day. Put them in a baggie. ⁓ we have a microwave. ⁓ so then our next day is Magic Kingdom. Mm-hmm. this is my ⁓ that I'm ⁓ know what's gonna happen. Honestly, we're I checked White Times earlier and it was surprisingly not that bad. I've been checking them and it yep, mm-hmm. I was like, what? Yeah. But this'll be the first week of summer. Yeah. So also Yeah. There's a lot of rain projected over these next two weeks. Really? Which is I mean, it may end up if we don't care, which I mean I I don't love the rain, but if it deters some people then Right. That would be helpful. And also the weather can change. It it changes constantly. Okay. I know. So this is our sleep-in day. Yeah. Right now, my main lightning lane that day is Big Thunder Mountain. Okay. Like we're gonna get Tron. Like, I'm not worried about getting Tron later in the evening. Big Thunder Mountain around 2 p.m. Okay. Because I say we start in Tomorrowland and I've been looking. Like I said, I've been looking too. Buzz is a 30-minute wait. We can wait 30 minutes. So I was like, okay, well, let's Lightning Lane space. So we'll Lightning Lane space, wait for Buzz. Then we make our way around, catch Little Mermaid. We'll wait in that line because why not? I did a haunted mansion for 1230 because I'd rather wait in the pirates line than the Haunted Mansion line. Okay. So Haunted Mansion. There's no way to get both. Not unless we pick it up. And not unless we don't do a space or buzz light year. Wait, I thought we were waiting for buzz. We're waiting for buzz, but we're lightning laning space. So then Lightning Laning Haunted Mansion and Lightning Lane. Are those all tier two? Is that why we can't no? Big Thunder's Tier One. And yeah. So we have to pick up Tiana's Peter Pan jungle cruise after eleven. Ooh, why is Pirates not on there? I was gonna say Pirates probably be around ⁓ We got our rope drop. I'm just kidding. ⁓ pirates should probably be around the four. Yeah. That's kind of also why I didn't it just like the times weren't lining up because I don't know, because I didn't want to book something so late in the day. Well was I realistically our last are we planning on doing what's ⁓ what's it called for lunch? The place that I didn't get last time. Yeah, we need to be there. So that's around Peter Pan. ⁓ that's isn't that fantasyland? Yeah, but we are not even really writing anything in fantasy line. You said Peter Pan. No, I said those are to pick up if we want to pick up those are pick up after eleven. So those rides you can pick up after eleven. where's haunted mansion on this little cheat sheet of mine? Jungle Cruise drops every one to ten minutes from eleven fifty six to one fifty-nine. Tiana's new lightning lanes drop every minute all day. Space Mountain drops one to fifty six minutes from two nineteen to nine forty one. So we could really I could the that's the issue. That's I remember that's what I was having. The issue with Magic Kingdom is we're not trying to zigzag around the park. Mm-hmm. So we're either that was why I came to the decision I'd rather wait in the Pirates line than the Haunted Mansion line. Okay. Pirates seems always seems a little bit more shaded and not as sunny. Yeah. So we're gonna have to you we're gonna have to pick one of those to wait a line. Okay. Like just for time per just for time purposes to not zigzag. Got it. I'm trying to make us a circle and we'll only have to go back to Tomorrowland for Tron after the fireworks. Okay. So in my head as of right now, we're starting Tomorrowland. We come up, we hit Little Mermaid. And then we can go eat lunch, Haunted Mansion, and then we can go eat lunch and get our tachos. Well, except Haunted Mansion is it's kind of all right there. ⁓ is it? Okay. Yeah, it's like right. For some reason I'm thinking it's more like toward the left. It is, it's like left. But it's not. But it's it's not as far as Big Thunder Mountain. Right. Okay. Okay. Right. Okay. So we can go get our Tachos after Haunted Mansion and then go back up to Big Thunder Mountain. Maybe by that point we'll catch a Tiana's, which is right there, since those are dropping all day. Apparently. I don't know. And then we might be able to pick up a pirate. Yeah. Or, you know, but But either way I feel like pirates isn't it's never like crazy bad. No, it's never more than an hour, I don't think. well that seems long. But I'd I was thinking yeah. So right now ⁓ Five why is it five minutes at six PM? Maybe it shut down. Yeah, I was about to say maybe it just shut down. I was thinking today was gonna be packed. I mean I think I heard ⁓ I think Hollywood Studios is pretty crowded today. I think Epcot might be the park of the day of the of the Memorial Days. It might be the I mean Remy's is really only a fifty minute wait. That's not bad. Frozen's forty-five, I'd wait for that. I'd wait in frozen. But I guess it's Yeah, it is. Once you get inside, but if it's only a 45 minute wait, then floor. Yeah, you're probably inside. Yeah. Yeah. I love that print. We're gonna try. We're gonna try. I'd rather yeah. We're gonna try for frozen lipids. But I would rather do the new Soren than because if we stuck if we did Remy's and then tried to no wait. What's that order? We'd have to go Remy's, then Frozen? That's a lot of walking. But is it we wouldn't be able to stop and look. We'd have to go Rimmy's through the world showcase to Frozen and down to Soren if we wanted to try and get them all done in the morning. Yeah. I'd rather do the Soren than Rimmy's. Okay, so that's all I have. I mean, then we're gonna stay as late as possible. Mm-hmm. Or tip two. Okay. I don't know how that's gonna work. But yeah. I think. ⁓ so I mean yeah. Hoopso. All right, well Do we we I know we have some Dreamlight Valley news? Yeah. See we've got, well, I had it up. Okay. So The treasure hunt event is starting on the 27th. Goes from May 27th to June 9th. It says it's back. I don't remember doing this last year, but I guess we do. ⁓ find special treasure maps and solve riddles to earn a real bounty. ⁓ that's right. Yes, because I have the all the chests with the treasure in it. Or was or am I think was that a Pure Pan quest? ⁓ It's like one of those camera. It's like one of those camera like photo ops. That might have been Peter Pan. and then we found out that the what are they calling it? A hero's journey. Heroes journey star path drops on the third. And so we are going to have to wait to get Hercules, potentially. Uh-huh. Which I'm not excited about. But it is what it is. I also coming from the person that did not do any of the Boca Hotis star paths. So nope. But I I am excited for Hercules. Get our new realm. I didn't even realize we're gonna get a new realm. Yes. We get a new realm with Hercules. ⁓ I'm thinking it's gonna look a lot like the what's the area in yeah Hades Olympia or whatever it's called and wish nope storybook veil. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love Hercules, so I'm super excited. ⁓ And Phil. Yes. Hercules and Phil. That looks like Phil. For sure. I saw a silhouette of Phil. Well, I did too. Yeah, that's true. Okay. So they're they're a package deal. ⁓ Why we can't get Megara? I don't know. Maybe eventually. Hmm. I guess the movie was called Hercules. Yeah, I mean I think that's about it. I don't know how many days are left on the Pocahontas thing, but it's gotta be like a week. No, I haven't played in so long. I was gonna sit down and play yesterday. Then I was like, no, and I started organizing the baseball cards. So yeah. Well, I've just been still so like focused on the fetch stuff, but ⁓ My hard work has paid off. That's good. Go you. I feel very accomplished. I told ⁓ I was like mentioning it to Quentin and my mom last night, like how how much like how many gift cards I have. And they were like, Are you serious? Like, yeah. And you've been doing this how long? I said, Well, I mean, we found out we were going on this trip in February February. Yeah. So between now or between February and now. How many gift cards do you have? I had a twenty five dollar one from our cruise last year that I just didn't spend. I have gotten four fifty dollar gift cards. Yep. So Nick likes to make fun of me, but that's that much less that I don't have to spend out of your pocket. Yep. Wow. So I'm telling you. Wow. Okay. Well it adds up. You can pay me in gift cards for your lightning lanes tomorrow. Good. I guess I could. But no, you can. It's whatever you want to do. No, I'll probably just send you. It's it's gonna be for the transportation and the yeah. So yeah. well, Disney News. ⁓ everything's opening tomorrow. So it'll already be open by the time you listen, you're listening. Cause we record on Mondays. So everything's opening on Tuesday, the twenty sixth, rocking Bluey's Wild World, and they have a lot of Bluey merch at Animal Kingdom. I know, right? I thought Rockin' was already open. There's just been previews. There's been so many people talking about it. ⁓ trying to like ⁓ I know, but everyone says it's so good. They're so good. That's what I've heard. Although ⁓ like, there's Easter eggs everywhere and there's like stuff to look for everywhere. And I'm I don't even know ⁓ to look for because I'm not a Muppets fan. Right. But I've heard there's stuff from the show. Mm-hmm. ⁓ yeah. I mean, I'm sure it'll be great. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ so let's see. The Mandalorian and Grogu dominated this weekend with over a hundred million domestically. And Disney is pushing the Grogu Baby Yoda merchandise. Of course. ⁓ we've got new pins this week and new Toy Story five themed airplane featuring Woody and Buzz was unveiled in Australia as a part of Disney's marketing partnership with Virgin Australia. Today is officially Goofy's 94th birthday. That's cute. some other things I saw was the ⁓ Jesse's Roundup, which is at the Diamond Horseshoe, which is a restaurant in Magic Kingdom, which what? Yep. Okay. Which is in kind of close to ⁓ It's like on that path before you turn to go to Big Thunder and Tiana's. Okay. ⁓ I'm probably the least familiar with that area of the park. I would love to do this. So something it the Diamond Horseshoe has always been like an interactive show, like meal. but guests can dance with Woody and Jesse, watch live performers and jump rope acts, play Western themed games, sing Yodo along, meet Bullseye and Toy Story pals, and cool off indoors in Frontierland. That's what it's called. Frontier Land. Okay, okay, okay. I guess makes it. it's a part of the cool kids summer event and helps promote Toy Story 5. I don't know. That's why. Okay, so this is the first live entertainment show inside the Diamond Horseshoe in over 20 years. The last real stage production was Goofy's Country Dancing Jamboree back in the early two thousands, which is why I remember it. Okay. Because I went to it. So how do you get you just have to reserve a table? Yeah. I guess. I feel like there used to always never be a wait because it wasn't good. I feel like I went to the diamond horseshoe when I went with friends back in like ⁓ 2015. Let me see what we're looking at right now. Pico's bill notes over here. The diamond horseshoe has a Liberty T Trav. Where is it? Where is the diamond horseshoe? Maybe it's not even open today because of tomorrow. It's opening tomorrow. ⁓ I don't know. hold on looking. Yeah, it's closed right now. So I don't know. But yeah, I've been in there to eat. But yeah, there's a walk-up list. You can reserve dining. So could that be dinner if we really wanted to? ⁓ to dine at in park table service restaurant, a confirmed dining reservation is highly recommended. So but it's not open yet, so we can't get one yet. Mm but it opens tomorrow and so we will be there after it opens. Right, but I'm saying so I can't I think you can reserve dining. It's not working for me. ⁓ but my phone's been super slow lately, so I don't know. Let me see. That would be fun though. That'd be Friday the fifth. Friday the fifth, yes, yes, yes. That would be around It definitely is more geared towards kids though. So I don't know if It's forty five dollars. Nope, that's lunch. It's forty five dollars. Hmm. All you care to eat based platter. So it's all you can eat. Okay. That's not bad for forty five. Mm-mm. Diamond horseshoe. says no avail no available time for this day. Then it might some people might have already booked it up. Yeah. Maybe we can we can check if we really if if it's really something you want to do, we can check. ⁓ doesn't sound but see it's ⁓ it says there's no reservations available. I don't I don't know. We'll check tomorrow. Yeah. Just check tomorrow. Yeah. Serving Liberty Tea Travern serving Liberty Tree Tavern favorites. So Liberty Tea Tavern I can't speak. Liberty Tea Tavern. Liberty Tree Tavern. Tavern. Okay, we'll check tomorrow. But I'll I'll ⁓ you can add that to your set of reminder to that. see what happens. Well we can just play it by ear. I'm not again I'm fine with sna I don't, you know. Yeah, because we didn't really have anything Well we're doing tachos for sure. I wanna try, I wanna go to Gaston's Yeah, the tacho the fryer note. Fryer I call them tachos. I wanna go to Gaston's. I d don't need the cinnamon roll. I want the other thing that I sent, the creme boule croissant thingy. ⁓ I want egg rolls. Right. Like I want popcorn and I wanna go to the candy store. Like, you know, those are my things. I kinda want more that really yummy popcorn. ⁓ that popcorn was so good. The confectionery popcorn, yeah. ⁓ but that's about it for all the news. And so now Okay, so Lindy. Let us review. What we know. Okay. Okay. Cause this is ⁓ did you ⁓ there's an intro to this? Yeah. okay. We made an intro to this one. Perfect. ⁓ ⁓ is called Why is Everything Alive? Okay. So this is our sentence deep dive. Why are the toys alive? Why are animals basically people? Why do emotions seem to control everything in Pixar? And what are the rules of consciousness in this universe? So last episode we tackled the wildest Pixar Theory claim. Boo growing up to become the witch from Brave. And then we watched the movie and I still don't believe it. But I forgot how good the movie was and I really enjoyed it. the movie was so ⁓ I forget. ⁓ is a great movie. But yeah, whatever I said to that, I think I said the lowest one. Breadcrumbs? No. You said receipts. Receipts. Yeah. Still without. So that's our levels. Let's go over our levels. Level one is receipts. Level two is breadcrumbs. And level three is Pixar vibes. So today we're gonna figure out the rules of sentinets and Pixar. Why toys think, why animals communicate like coworkers and why emotional why emotions are basically tiny CEOs. Mm-hmm. Because Like low key, I mean, my emotions are the CEO of my brain. So Choice. This is our strongest evidence because we have soon to be five Toy Story movies. Toys don't just move, they have a society. They have rules, they have fear, they have identity, they have loyalty, they have culture. The theory's core idea: toys gain consciousness through human connection, emotional attachment, andor prolonged exposure to humans. Not all toys behave the same way. Some are highly self-aware, some seem newborn, and some evolve emotionally over time. Mm-hmm. Okay. Why do toys freeze around humans? That's the biggest discussion question we have. Is it survival instinct, learned behavior, or some deeper rule? So we see in Toy Story that there's leadership, right? And there's social rules. At least in Andy's room. But then we go to Sid's backyard and you have all those crazy toys. They've taken on more of Sid's personality. Right. So they each take up their personalities. They seem strongly connected to the children and more emotionally developed. And when they're abandoned or forgotten, they often behave di differently. So Forky is a huge talking point in all this. Forky becomes alive almost instantly, even though it's made from trash. Right? Mm-hmm. The theory loves this because it suggests consciousness may not depend on the object itself. It depends on human, on emotional intention. So What do you think? Toys are conscious, receipts, breadcrumbs, or I would say Pixar Vibes. Pixar Vibes. Okay. So Toys are Pixar Vibes. All right. Chad gave this breadcrumbs. By the way, why? I don't know. He doesn't explain himself. Okay. So animals. Animals are suspiciously human. We have finding Nemo, Finding Dory, Ratatouille, and UP. Animals and Pixar don't just talk for the audience. They strategize. They problem solve. They emotionally process events and they maintain complex societies. The theory says that this is evidence that intelligence is spreading throughout the Pixar world. Finding Nemo, we have the ocean. There's social structures, migration systems, communication networks, emotional support dynamics, schools, groups with hierarchy. I mean, Bruce goes to an AA meeting for eating fish. Right. Like it is a society. Yeah. Like the fish have communities more organized than some apartment complexes, is what Chad says. Ratatouille, Remy isn't just smart. He has creativity, ambition, artistic taste, long-term planning. Animals aren't becoming trained, they're becoming people. Chad said persons. Okay. Up. This one matters. Mm-hmm. Because animals communicate directly. Technology bridges species communication, and Doug displays emotional complexity almost identical to humans. The theory sees this as the line between human and animal intelligence collapsing. Now, what Chad did not put in this is what we saw at the end of Hoppers. At the end of Hoppers, we saw our someone was making a collar to put on a dog to talk. To make them talk. Yes. Which is exactly what we see in up. Yes. So we connect those two right now. It looked like a picture of Doug wearing the collar. It could not have been more obvious. Right. So our ratings for animals have advanced intelligence. Receipts, breadcrumbs, pixar vibes. Chad's not on he's still breadcrumbs. Okay. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Okay, emotions. Emotions are basically physics. Inside out, soul, and cocoa. This is where the theory gets terrifyingly convincing. Pixar repeatedly treats emotions as measurable systems. Inside out, this movie changes the conversation because emotions physically control your behavior. They manage your memory, they shape your personality, they influence identity formation. The theory says emotions are not metaphorical in Pixar, they're functional systems. This movie basically says feelings are infant structure. Soul. This movie treats soul, personality, inspiration, and identity as tangible things with structure and rules. The theory uses this to support consciousness exists independently from physical bodies. Coco. Memory literally sustains existence. The theory loves this because it reinforces emotional connection, has tangible power. So That was which one? Coco. Okay. Emotional connection has tangible power. There's a huge monsters ink connection. This section is important because later in the timeline, monsters literally harvest emotion as energy, which suddenly feels less random if emotions have already functioned like measurable power, like they do in these three movies. All right. Yeah. I'm with it. I see it. Fix our vibes. Fix our vibes. Okay. So what are the rules? So these are our questions to explore. Why are some objects alive, but not all? Toys alive, cars alive, appliances sometimes seem aware, but random furniture usually doesn't. So why would you think that? Why are the toys and the cars and the appliances but like your dresser isn't talking? ⁓ what's our main driving theory? What's who's the CEO? Your emotions. ⁓ So the things you are more emotionally attached to Got it. Are going to be the ones that are more conscious. You're emotionally attached to toys, cars, what was the one? Appliances. I talked to my microwave. You could talk back. Got it. I don't talk to my dresser. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. So it says our cars descendants of toys. Machines may have gradually evolved awareness the same way toys did. I mean, because if you look Morgan's named his car. Right. Like if you look at like a lot of people named it people are so it makes it call them she. Most a lot of people refer to them as a female. So does emotion create consciousness? The theory reported repeatedly circles back to connection, memory, love, and identity, which may function like a spark that creates awareness. Is Pixar accidentally building one philosophy? Even if the theory isn't intentional, Pixar repeatedly returns to emotional connection, identity, memory, purpose, and consciousness. So, my big takeaway: if this theory works at all, it works because Pixar consistently treats emotions as real forces that shapes the world, which explains our toys, our animals, machines, monsters, and even the afterlife concepts. So Yeah. Toys. You're gonna get Pixar vibes. All right. But the whole boo witch thing. That's the only part I can't connect. Okay. That doesn't seem like it adds up. Okay. Well, part four, we talk about how did humans lose the world? Okay. That's next time? That's the next time. Okay. Next time we go from emotional philosophy to capitalism and car society. Okay. Yeah. I don't know. I just find it all interesting. It is. Yeah. I mean, the more you think about it, the more you can ⁓ the more you can see it. But I mean, I think that's the boo witch thing is the biggest stretch, right? We can see everything else. You can see how they can lead the emotions and the animals, the toys, and the societies and how like there's a timeline to how everything works. Yeah. But you are correct. The whole boo witch thing is just a fun little additive. Yeah. Like part of the theory. I mean, at the end of it like you said like like you said or whatever in the summary, like even if it's not related, like the Pixar movies have done so well because of the Easter eggs. Well, but the the emotional aspect they're playing. ⁓ yeah. People relate to them so well because of because they're tapping into human emotion with so many different things and not just humans. Right. I mean, I remember watching Toy Story Three in two thousand ten, the year we graduated high school, probably with you, I have to say. Probably. We probably yep. I remember watching it in the theater. Yeah. Yeah. And like just crying because he was going off to college and his toys were being burned. I'm getting goosebumps. I mean it's like, yeah, you I mean you can't you know now did it hit that way for everyone? No. But like for the for that generation like we grew up we grew up with Andy. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, but even like Wally. Wally gets me. R Ratatouille gets me. Yeah. We like when we wa rewatched Brave, like A bear. I mean, I don't know. It was. Yeah. Honestly, I think I I have more of a connection to more Pixar movies than just straight up Disney movies. Definitely. If we're being I remember watching more Pixar movies, but us growing up, Pix that's where Pixar kind of That was their sweet spot. That was their sweet spot. That's what and that's what was making Disney their money was Pixar. Mm-hmm. I mean 'Cause after those major princess movies like Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, like what was Aladd like Aladdin and Hercules didn't do that well. The next big princess movie wasn't tangled. So between all of that time were those Pixar movies, Monster Zing, Finding Nemo, the Toy Stories. Yeah. Like, yeah. I don't know. Good stuff. Yeah. Well, ⁓ so is the is part four the last part? Part five. Okay. split up into five parts. Okay. Yeah. Well, next week we will have a special guest with us because We will be having a little slumber party before we get up at four in the morning and go to Disney World. ⁓ my gosh, we'll have to edit that night of. Yeah. All right. Okay.
