A harrowing motorcycle crash in eastern Iowa left one rider with life-threatening injuries after a head-on collision with a pickup truck at an intersection near Lone Tree. The motorcyclist, en route north on Wapsi Avenue, was struck by a westbound truck on Highway 22 around 1 p.m. — the impact sent them to University of Iowa Hospital.
