Wommack Ranks Top 5 in SEC Defense
Alabama’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack just soared to No. 5 in the SEC for defensive play-calling, putting him among the elite — and he’s doing it with less talent than most. The ranking, which measures real coaching impact by evaluating play-by-play performance, also makes Alabama the only SEC school with both top-five offense (Ryan Grubb, No. 2) and defense.
