- 0:23Speaker 2: Oh, he's gonna try, But it's the furthest away from
- 0:27Speaker 2: home he's ever been.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Your Sam is even more of a tragic character than
- 0:33Speaker 1: the real Sam.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I love it.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Sam Wise Gamgy is a hero. How dare you?
- 0:38Speaker 3: He is a hero?

- 1:20Speaker 2: We dare you, so go to Peak Improv dot com
- 1:23Speaker 2: for tickets to our live show Lord of the Rings Fandemonium.
- 1:28Speaker 2: That's gonna be on November fourteenth at the Peak Improv
- 1:30Speaker 2: Theater in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- 1:32Speaker 1: And is that little hobbit going to be there?
- 1:34Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:35Speaker 2: I don't know. He's gonna try his best, but he's
- 1:39Speaker 2: just got so many frying pans to wash.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Sad wise, gamgee, Hello, leap Prugs, and welcome to another
- 1:55Speaker 1: edition of Bonus Round, the penultimate edition Bonus Round. It's
- 2:01Speaker 1: just me for a little intro. This week Audra is
- 2:04Speaker 1: off doing science or comedy or some combination of the both.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Coming up in just a bit, we have the twelfth
- 2:11Speaker 1: edition of Matt Versus Audra Round twelve. If you listen
- 2:15Speaker 1: last month, I think you know which game is in
- 2:18Speaker 1: store for us today, and it's a must win for me.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I have to win this one otherwise it's over. This
- 2:24Speaker 1: could very well be the last Matt Versus Audra ever,
- 2:29Speaker 1: we're refusing to be in competition with each other anymore
- 2:32Speaker 1: after this, so very excited for that coming up. But
- 2:35Speaker 1: before we get to that, I wanted to shout out
- 2:37Speaker 1: a couple of things. And this first plug is mainly
- 2:41Speaker 1: for those of you who are listening from Colorado Springs.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So if you just heard the name of the town
- 2:46Speaker 1: you live in and your ears pricked up, like, hang
- 2:49Speaker 1: on a minute, that's where I live, then I want
- 2:52Speaker 1: to shout out a pair of shows that are happening
- 2:54Speaker 1: at the Peak Improv Theater on the fifth and sixth
- 2:57Speaker 1: of December. Sir Aaron Randolph of BYW and the rest
- 3:02Speaker 1: of the BFYITW Boys have put together a celebration for
- 3:06Speaker 1: their three hundredth episode. They are hosting and putting on
- 3:10Speaker 1: a live two night event version of Taskmaster, and I
- 3:15Speaker 1: say version of task Master to skirt around any copyright
- 3:19Speaker 1: laws of using that branding. Please don't sue us, Alex Horn.
- 3:24Speaker 1: We are extremely small potatoes. Myself and Audra have been
- 3:30Speaker 1: so lucky to be a part of this process. It's
- 3:34Speaker 1: been a year of planning, filming tasks. Some absolutely wild
- 3:39Speaker 1: things have happened in front of cameras that will be
- 3:43Speaker 1: being shown at the Peak in Prov Theater on the
- 3:45Speaker 1: fifth and sixth of December. It's going to be two
- 3:49Speaker 1: nights of absolute madness as two podcasts and some special
- 3:54Speaker 1: guests who've been working together online for about three years
- 3:59Speaker 1: now are coming together to collaborate in person for the
- 4:03Speaker 1: first time. It feels surreal. It feels like a dream
- 4:08Speaker 1: come true being able to play this format without having
- 4:12Speaker 1: to plan any of it. Aaron has done all of
- 4:16Speaker 1: the hard work producing this pair of shows happening at
- 4:20Speaker 1: the start of December. So if you are in Colorado Springs,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and especially if you are a fan of Taskmaster, then
- 4:28Speaker 1: get yourself down to the Peak Improv Theater on December
- 4:31Speaker 1: fifth and sixth. Head to Peakimprov dot com for tickets.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Check out the show calendar and you will see both
- 4:38Speaker 1: nights of BFYITW presents Taskmaster listed there. Grab your tickets now,
- 4:43Speaker 1: Grab your tickets early. I promise it's going to be
- 4:46Speaker 1: an incredibly unique two nights of live comedy and just
- 4:50Speaker 1: the energy in the room of a group of people
- 4:53Speaker 1: who have performed digitally together for so long finally getting
- 4:57Speaker 1: to perform in a physical space. I think it's going
- 4:59Speaker 1: to be a very beat, very unique energy that's not
- 5:01Speaker 1: going to be able to happen very often, so we're
- 5:05Speaker 1: going to really treasure it as performers, and I hope
- 5:08Speaker 1: that is reflected back to you the audience, because yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: so many wild things have had. I can't spoil anything
- 5:16Speaker 1: about any of the tasks I've filmed. Just know that
- 5:19Speaker 1: Aaron has curated a fantastic set of tasks and I
- 5:22Speaker 1: can't wait to see how everyone else has done. And
- 5:25Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear Audra Judges because Audra will
- 5:28Speaker 1: be the task Master for those two evenings. I'd like
- 5:32Speaker 1: to think I have a bit of an advantage going in,
- 5:35Speaker 1: you know, being married to the task Master, But something
- 5:37Speaker 1: tells me that's going to bite me in the behind.
- 5:40Speaker 3: So we'll see. Final time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm going to say the dates and where you can
- 5:44Speaker 1: get tickets the fifth and sixth of December. If you
- 5:47Speaker 1: are in Colorado Springs, please do come down and support
- 5:50Speaker 1: live local comedy. Head to peek improv dot com for tickets.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Can't wait to see you there. Before we get on
- 5:58Speaker 1: with this month's Matt Verse, I have another quick plug
- 6:01Speaker 1: for something incredibly exciting that is happening in mine and
- 6:06Speaker 1: Audra's life right now. We're so lucky to be a
- 6:09Speaker 1: part of the team that is building Team Up, the
- 6:12Speaker 1: new superhero TTRPG that you can play for free now
- 6:17Speaker 1: by heading to patreon dot com slash Team Up rpg
- 6:21Speaker 1: to access the beta manual for free and look a
- 6:24Speaker 1: pdf on a screen that can be a lot to
- 6:27Speaker 1: consume and read. Right, And wouldn't it be handy if
- 6:30Speaker 1: there was a play show podcast I could listen to
- 6:32Speaker 1: kind of passively learn the rules of Team Up and
- 6:35Speaker 1: the structure of the game. Oh boy, I've got some
- 6:38Speaker 1: excellent news for you. Team Up have launched a play
- 6:41Speaker 1: show podcast, featuring the game's creator, Johnny Wilson, as the
- 6:45Speaker 1: GD and a brilliant cast of improvisers and performers who
- 6:51Speaker 1: have nearly three decades of improv experience between them. And
- 6:56Speaker 1: that's something I feel confident saying. It might be. Could
- 6:59Speaker 1: it be four decades? It could be, but I don't
- 7:01Speaker 1: want to make assumptions. It's nadpod inspired, it's worlds beyond
- 7:05Speaker 1: Number inspired, and entire radio play soundscape is being built
- 7:10Speaker 1: each and every week. I will put a link to
- 7:13Speaker 1: the play show podcast right at the very top of
- 7:16Speaker 1: the show notes of this very podcast episode. Go subscribe,
- 7:21Speaker 1: Go listen to the episodes that are dropping at the moment.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The group play Show Actual will begin in January, but
- 7:28Speaker 1: at the moment they are dropping origin stories. You know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: classic comic book storytelling, right, You've got to get the
- 7:34Speaker 1: origin stories in there. So they are telling origin stories
- 7:37Speaker 1: for each of the three main players. Main characters, setting
- 7:42Speaker 1: the scene, building the world, getting immersed in the experience
- 7:46Speaker 1: in the environment. I've been lucky enough to do some
- 7:49Speaker 1: production work on the Team Play Show podcast and I
- 7:53Speaker 1: am blown away by the quality of show that Johnny
- 7:58Speaker 1: and the team are building. Ability as storytellers as improvisers
- 8:03Speaker 1: is really shining through, and it's only enhanced by the
- 8:08Speaker 1: sound production that Johnny has added to it. So I
- 8:11Speaker 1: am such a big fan of this podcast already and
- 8:14Speaker 1: can't wait to see where they go. You should absolutely
- 8:17Speaker 1: check them out. Hit the link in the show notes subscribe.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Even if you subscribe today and then don't binge a
- 8:23Speaker 1: bunch of episodes until the holiday season, do it. Check
- 8:27Speaker 1: them out. It's so good and it's great to support
- 8:30Speaker 1: independent game creators, independent actual play podcasts. We're lucky enough
- 8:35Speaker 1: to be in an entertainment landscape where a lot of
- 8:38Speaker 1: the actual play podcasts that we've spent the last five
- 8:40Speaker 1: to ten years listening to have kind of gone mainstream.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But that means we're looking to the indeed TTRPG space
- 8:47Speaker 1: to fill the gaps that they left behind, and I
- 8:50Speaker 1: really think Team Up is an incredibly strong candidate to
- 8:54Speaker 1: not only do that as a game, but as a
- 8:56Speaker 1: play show. And I know you're a podcast listener because
- 9:00Speaker 1: you're listening to this, so why not check out the
- 9:03Speaker 1: Team Up play show podcast link in the show notes. Ah,
- 9:07Speaker 1: thank you leap Frogs for listening to those plugs. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: promise you they're for good and exciting things, and apart
- 9:12Speaker 1: from the annoying ads that you hear if you're not
- 9:16Speaker 1: listening to us via Patreon, We're never going to promote
- 9:18Speaker 1: something that's not independent creatives getting together and making something,
- 9:22Speaker 1: because that is the spirit of this podcast. That is
- 9:26Speaker 1: what it's always been about, is groups of funny people
- 9:29Speaker 1: getting together to make entertainment. So thank you for listening
- 9:33Speaker 1: to a couple of things that I'm currently passionate about,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and I hope you check them out too. But now
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's time for potentially the final round of Matt versus Audra.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Will we even return next month? Let's play the jingle
- 9:47Speaker 1: and find out watch out for my villain Era. Don't
- 9:51Speaker 1: mess with the games, Master Captain, power up. I'm going
- 9:55Speaker 1: to score all the points.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Passing knowledge was enough.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to your doom.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I just hope we have a lot of fun.
- 10:04Speaker 1: And ignore this sentence. If you're a goddamn Lisa, you're
- 10:08Speaker 1: going down.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I want to fight, so I am one ahead. Let's
- 10:16Speaker 2: see if Matt can pick it up this time and
- 10:18Speaker 2: get us all tied up. I need to We are
- 10:21Speaker 2: joined by Aaron Randolph. Hi, guys, Hello Aaron. Why I'm
- 10:25Speaker 2: so excited? Uh, it's the one two punch. We've already
- 10:29Speaker 2: had Wheel of Money. Now it's time for Glepardy.
- 10:32Speaker 1: The legally distinct game.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Legally distinct. It is the game of clues and answering
- 10:39Speaker 3: in the form of a question. In fact, let's just
- 10:44Speaker 3: skip the show open Honestly, Uh, everybody knows how Jeopardy starts.
- 10:50Speaker 3: It's not famous game show. Gotta be right, gotta be,
- 10:55Speaker 3: gotta be gotta be is it simply is? Okay, So
- 11:00Speaker 3: we're gonna play a very similar version of the game
- 11:03Speaker 3: that you played on a previous episode where instead of
- 11:06Speaker 3: buzzing in, you are going to take turns picking clues
- 11:08Speaker 3: off the board. That clue is yours and yours alone. However,
- 11:12Speaker 3: you don't have to answer it. If you don't know,
- 11:15Speaker 3: say pass, or I'll just let five seconds go and
- 11:17Speaker 3: I'll call you out. But you won't lose any money
- 11:20Speaker 3: if you pass, or just stay silent. If you answer,
- 11:24Speaker 3: you're either gonna get it right and earn the points,
- 11:26Speaker 3: or you're gonna get it wrong and lose them. Okay,
- 11:29Speaker 3: so you're gonna want to be careful. It's now you
- 11:33Speaker 3: have stuff. Now it's clepardy excellent. Otherwise it wouldn't be
- 11:38Speaker 3: whoa okay, whoa whoa.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Wow.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Didn't expect that, didn't expect Glet to sound so rude,
- 11:45Speaker 1: but it did.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Let's try that again. Here's your first board, and here
- 11:50Speaker 3: are your categories. You have colorful characters, video game, stupid answers,
- 11:56Speaker 3: Shakespeare explained badly pop songs with in quotes, Greek mythology,
- 12:02Speaker 3: and finally pro wrestling mythologist.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I love that the very normal category that Audra is
- 12:08Speaker 1: very knowledgeable in it, and it's like, what can we
- 12:10Speaker 1: have for Matt pro wrestling mythologist.
- 12:14Speaker 3: It seemed appropriate. Pro wrestling does get kind of mythological,
- 12:18Speaker 3: It totally does. So, Matt, you are going to start
- 12:21Speaker 3: in control of this round as you lost the last game,
- 12:24Speaker 3: so you have the first control. The player who will
- 12:26Speaker 3: have the first control of the board in double jeopardy
- 12:28Speaker 3: will be the player who's in second place at the
- 12:31Speaker 3: end of this round. Yes, so, Matt, you can choose
- 12:34Speaker 3: any clue. Like I said, any clue you pick is
- 12:36Speaker 3: yours and yours alone. And there is one double leopardy
- 12:40Speaker 3: hiding some words up here on the board, A daily Global. Well,
- 12:45Speaker 3: what a laily double.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Daily Global?
- 12:56Speaker 3: Okay, So, Matt, where do you want to start?
- 12:59Speaker 1: I would like pro wrestling mythology for eight hundred for
- 13:02Speaker 1: eight hundred.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Aw's Doubler Nothing twenty nineteen featured what's frequently described as
- 13:07Speaker 3: an all time great match between these two real life brothers. Okay,
- 13:11Speaker 3: half but.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Shush, who is Cody and Dustin Rhodes?
- 13:16Speaker 3: Exactly right, Well done, Odra, back to you.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Let's go Greek mythology for six hundred for six hundred.
- 13:23Speaker 3: This Greek goddess is associated with wisdom, warfare, handicraft, and
- 13:28Speaker 3: also that one girl from the King of Fighters, Oh
- 13:30Speaker 3: and Sofidia from sul Caliber.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Who is Athena?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Correct? You're at six hundred to mats eight hundred. Matt,
- 13:37Speaker 3: you're next.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I would like pro wrestling mythology for a thousand? For
- 13:40Speaker 1: a thousand, yes.
- 13:42Speaker 3: The first ever Royal Rumble was won by this patriotic
- 13:46Speaker 3: rough and tumble wrestler.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Who is Haxel Jim Duggan?
- 13:49Speaker 3: Correct for a thousand points? Okay, Oudra, You're up next.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Where would you like to go?
- 13:54Speaker 2: I want to see what the Shakespeare explained badly? Category
- 13:58Speaker 2: is like. But I'm gonna be a little bit cowardly
- 14:00Speaker 2: and go for four hundred for.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Four hundred and Shakespeare explained badly. Danish prince should have
- 14:06Speaker 3: just called the Ghostbusters?
- 14:08Speaker 2: What is Hamlet?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Correct? Back to Matt, it's eighteen hundred to one thousand, Mett,
- 14:13Speaker 3: where would you like to go?
- 14:14Speaker 5: Now?
- 14:14Speaker 1: I need to build up my confidence and defend my territory,
- 14:17Speaker 1: so I'm going to go pro wrestling mythology for six hundred,
- 14:19Speaker 1: Please Aaron.
- 14:19Speaker 3: For six hundred. Two memorable events at two thousand and
- 14:23Speaker 3: five's Royal Rumble, both final competitors hit the ground at
- 14:25Speaker 3: the same time. Confusing everyone, and this man stormed out
- 14:29Speaker 3: to the ring and managed to tear both of his quads.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Who is the human traffic of Vince McMahon?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Correct for six hundred points brings you to twenty four hundred.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Oudra, I wish to live in a world where where
- 14:41Speaker 2: people are like, who's Vince McMahon? I love? I will
- 14:48Speaker 2: also want to I want to explore some of the
- 14:50Speaker 2: other areas on the board. Let's go pop songs for
- 14:53Speaker 2: four hundred as well.
- 14:54Speaker 3: For four hundred. Lola by The Kinks makes multiple references
- 14:58Speaker 3: to soda, as does this nineteen eighty five Star Wars
- 15:01Speaker 3: themed parody by weird Al Yankovic.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Who what is cola?
- 15:08Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry, that's incorrect. It's Yoda, Yoda, cal yes, Yoda, Yoda,
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, sorry. I was like, yeah, back down to
- 15:18Speaker 3: six hundred. But that's okay. There's plenty of game left. Matt,
- 15:21Speaker 3: You're up.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Next, Okay. I'm also gonna venture outside, and I'm gonna
- 15:25Speaker 1: say pop songs for eight.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Hundred for eight hundred for Matt, it sounds like a soda,
- 15:29Speaker 3: But nineteen eighty eight's Orange Crushed by this Band refers
- 15:33Speaker 3: to Agent Orange, a chemical defoliant used in the Vietnam War.
- 15:37Speaker 3: What is rim correct? Brings you to thirty two hundred?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Odra, Maybe let's go back to Greek mythology for four hundred.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Okay, okay. The Ultimate Kids Are Stupid story sees this
- 15:49Speaker 3: dad watch his kid fly too close to the sun.
- 15:52Speaker 3: It doesn't end well.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Who is data less correct?
- 15:56Speaker 3: Brings you to a thousand?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Back to Matt, can I have video game stupid answers
- 16:01Speaker 1: for six hundred?
- 16:02Speaker 3: For six hundred, the subtitle to this two thousand and
- 16:05Speaker 3: nine Kingdom Hearts video game confused us for three hundred
- 16:08Speaker 3: and fifty eight slash two days or one hundred and
- 16:10Speaker 3: seventy nine days.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know this. I'm just gonna guess what
- 16:14Speaker 1: is Kingdom Hearts three and a half.
- 16:21Speaker 3: No, I'm afraid that's wrong. Matt. You go down to
- 16:24Speaker 3: twenty six hundred. It's three hundred and fifty eight slash
- 16:27Speaker 3: two days. That was the correct response. What is three
- 16:30Speaker 3: hundred and fifty eight slash two days? The stupid answers
- 16:33Speaker 3: category means that the answer is in the is in
- 16:36Speaker 3: the answer?
- 16:37Speaker 2: Oh okay, so be on the lookout next time.
- 16:42Speaker 3: And we turned back to Odre.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I'm not going to be brave enough to go for
- 16:46Speaker 2: the thousand. But if the answers in the question video
- 16:49Speaker 2: game stupid answers for eight hundred.
- 16:52Speaker 3: For eight hundred, audre, here is the video game stupid
- 16:54Speaker 3: ANSWER's clue, your chance of escape is about zero. If
- 16:58Speaker 3: you can't tell me what video games series is, Virtue's
- 17:00Speaker 3: last reward belongs to.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Oh gosh, time is up. Fuck, you don't lose anything.
- 17:10Speaker 1: You don't lose anything. You didn't answer, so you don't
- 17:12Speaker 1: lose anything, but.
- 17:12Speaker 2: You didn't get at about the time.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Matt, Matt, do you have any idea?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Oh?
- 17:18Speaker 1: I actually don't.
- 17:19Speaker 3: The correct answer was what is zero escape?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Okay?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, back to Matt. It's your selection.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I want to try and stay in this mindset. I'm
- 17:29Speaker 1: gonna say video games stupid answers for four hundred.
- 17:32Speaker 3: For four hundred, Matt, here's your clue. The acronym PUBG
- 17:36Speaker 3: in Player Unknown's hit twenty seventeen video game PUBG Battlegrounds
- 17:40Speaker 3: stands for.
- 17:40Speaker 1: This, But is play a Unknown's Battlegrounds is correct?
- 17:45Speaker 2: Odra Uh, let's take the last one. Well, let's take
- 17:50Speaker 2: the two hundred from him. I'm not gonna take the thousand.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm not all right, Adre. Head Hunter Redemption is the
- 17:58Speaker 3: two thousand and four sequel to this two thousand and
- 18:00Speaker 3: one video game.
- 18:01Speaker 2: What is head Hunter?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Correct? For two hundred? Matt over to you.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Let's complete this video game, stupid answers for one thousand.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Let's for a one thousand something akin to Pandora's Box
- 18:12Speaker 3: is your ultimate directive in this nineteen ninety six Text
- 18:15Speaker 3: Murphy point and click PC adventure.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Game, Well, it's text Murphy. What is Tex Murphy? What

- 36:34Speaker 3: I really I picked these cut scenes because there's some
- 36:37Speaker 3: of my favorite cuts in on video games. That's one
- 36:40Speaker 3: reason why Matt, it's over to you.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Can I take the cast in of the roles for
- 36:44Speaker 1: sixteen hundred places you can.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Leah Thompson is best known for playing Marty's Mom and

- 36:56Speaker 3: who I'm gonna I'm gonna say, Caroline. I would give
- 36:59Speaker 3: it to you, but you didn't say who is Carolina?
- 37:02Speaker 3: All right? And I did tell you that was the
- 37:05Speaker 3: last time I was gonna let it slip, So I'm
- 37:07Speaker 3: taking that away.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Okay, refocus, Matt, refus.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Caroline was correct, But you can't lose much more like that. Yeah, uh, Audra,
- 37:14Speaker 3: where do you want to go?

- 37:19Speaker 2: if I can get it.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Okay, for four hundred. Greg Davies and Alex Horne put
- 37:23Speaker 3: comedians through hell by making them perform very odd jobs
- 37:26Speaker 3: on this show and then rating them out of five.
- 37:28Speaker 2: What is task Master?
- 37:30Speaker 3: Yes for four hundred brings Matt Where would you like

- 38:29Speaker 2: of day Oo, did you have a guess it's something
- 38:32Speaker 2: like nice Hike.

- 41:43Speaker 3: Uh what is jump Man? Yep? Jump Man? I something man,
- 41:47Speaker 3: But I would have just been guessing oudro We're back
- 41:50Speaker 3: to you, okay.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I I'm gonna go for the cast in other roles
- 41:57Speaker 2: for two thousand because I do have a group of names. Okay,
- 42:01Speaker 2: so I should have been going for.
- 42:03Speaker 3: It for two thousand. Here is your clue. This actress,
- 42:07Speaker 3: last named MacDonald, is best known for private practice in
- 42:10Speaker 3: The Good Fight, is currently in the Gilded Age, and
- 42:13Speaker 3: goes by this first name.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Who is Odra?
- 42:17Speaker 3: Correct for two thousand. Yes, well done, You're up to
- 42:22Speaker 3: forty six hundred. You're in striking distance of Matt's seven
- 42:25Speaker 3: thousand as we turn to Matt.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Okay, gonna play strategically and take Aaron's back of cut
- 42:31Speaker 1: scenes for two thousand.
- 42:32Speaker 3: For two thousand. Here's the last Aaron's bag of cut
- 42:35Speaker 3: scenes clue. This is Tex Murphy displaying his natural intelligence
- 42:39Speaker 3: from the twenty fourteen game test Left BacT, which, like
- 42:42Speaker 3: all text games, took place in a post apocalyptic version
- 42:46Speaker 3: of this popular Noir city.
- 43:00Speaker 6: H m hm.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Hm hm.
- 43:25Speaker 7: Hm yeah, yeah, that's the question.
- 43:45Speaker 3: The question is The question is what city does it
- 43:48Speaker 3: take place?
- 43:48Speaker 4: In?
- 43:49Speaker 3: Five second I'm staying quiet, all right, that's a pass.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Time is up? Correct answer is San Francisco.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I would have said Chicago.
- 43:59Speaker 3: So Sam Francisco very popular for Noir. Uh Odra, you
- 44:03Speaker 3: are twenty four hundred points away from Matt. Where do
- 44:06Speaker 3: you want to go? It's only four clues left on
- 44:08Speaker 3: the board. One of them is the daily level.
- 44:11Speaker 2: See, if I'm gonna try to get him, I gotta
- 44:15Speaker 2: I think I gotta go for the biggest because I
- 44:17Speaker 2: feel like I have an equal chance on that sixteen
- 44:20Speaker 2: and two thousand, which is very minimal. But I because
- 44:24Speaker 2: the chance is equal. I've gotta go for the leapers
- 44:27Speaker 2: for two thousand.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Leapers for two thousand. It's the other daily level. How okay,
- 44:33Speaker 3: you could turn this game completely around. You have forty
- 44:38Speaker 3: six hundred. You can wager up to that, or you
- 44:40Speaker 3: can wager as little as five points.
- 44:43Speaker 2: So if I don't get this right, the likelihood of
- 44:46Speaker 2: me winning is quite low, So I do have to, like,
- 44:50Speaker 2: I gotta wager a lot of it.
- 44:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 44:52Speaker 2: That feels right.
- 44:53Speaker 3: That's one way to look at it.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, let's go three k. Let's do two
- 45:02Speaker 2: Let's do two k. What it's worth. Let's do what okay,
- 45:04Speaker 2: thing was worth? Remember you have to answer this I
- 45:08Speaker 2: do Oh shit me, it's fine.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Here here is the clue. This green bunny with a
- 45:16Speaker 3: very big gun hops and shoots on his quest to
- 45:19Speaker 3: save eva Erelong. In the nineteen ninety four PC game
- 45:23Speaker 3: of the same name, Flops, Who is Flopslop? He didn't
- 45:34Speaker 3: say who was his flops, so you would have been
- 45:36Speaker 3: wrong anyway. But as it happens, Flops is wrong too.
- 45:40Speaker 3: The correct answer was jazz Jack Rabbits.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Ooh, that guy, we go way back.
- 45:45Speaker 3: He's gonna be there's a reason it was two thousand.
- 45:48Speaker 3: All right, we're clearing the clue. There's just three clues left, Matt,
- 45:52Speaker 3: where do you want to go?
- 45:53Speaker 1: Let's go gates for four hundred.
- 45:55Speaker 3: For four hundred, one of Monty Python's most famous sketches
- 45:59Speaker 3: revolves around this government department for preposterous gates?
- 46:02Speaker 1: What is the Ministry of Silly Walks?
- 46:04Speaker 3: Correct? For four hundred points brings you to seventy four hundred.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Oudre where to Let's go for a movie before and
- 46:11Speaker 2: after for sixteen for.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Sixteen hundred, here's your clue. Keith Ledger stars as the joker,
- 46:17Speaker 3: posing as a member of a higher class in medieval tournaments.
- 46:23Speaker 2: What is Dark Knight's Tale?
- 46:26Speaker 5: Uh?
- 46:26Speaker 3: It was correct? Absolutely right? Well done, and Matt, the
- 46:31Speaker 3: final clue is yours leap is twelve hundred. This nineteen
- 46:34Speaker 3: eighty nine sci fi TV show featured Sam Beckett jumping
- 46:37Speaker 3: back and forth through time for five seasons. What is
- 46:41Speaker 3: quantum leap is correct? Brings you to eighty six hundred
- 46:46Speaker 3: and Oudre at forty two hundred. Ali, of course didn't
- 46:49Speaker 3: play at all, so is zero. To move to our
- 46:54Speaker 3: final jeopardy category, which is, uh, how do I reveal it?
- 47:02Speaker 3: There we go. I would like each of you right
- 47:08Speaker 3: now to text me how many of your points you
- 47:10Speaker 3: are willing to wager on this last question. Like before,
- 47:14Speaker 3: you both have to answer, but unlike before, you're not
- 47:17Speaker 3: gonna say your answers out loud. You are also going
- 47:19Speaker 3: to text them to me while the think music is playing,
- 47:23Speaker 3: or while I am humming the think music, because we
- 47:26Speaker 3: probably don't have the rights to the act. All right,
- 47:29Speaker 3: So text me how many of your points you are
- 47:32Speaker 3: willing to wager right now? All right, your wages are
- 47:35Speaker 3: in Here is your clue. You will have thirty seconds
- 47:39Speaker 3: to text your answer to me. Remember to do so
- 47:41Speaker 3: in the form of a question. Here is your clue
- 47:44Speaker 3: on Fandemonium, one of two fandoms covered on the only
- 47:51Speaker 3: two Fandemonium episodes to feature all three of the bfytw boys.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Thirty seconds Your time starts now.

- 48:38Speaker 3: We are going to start with Odra and uh Odra?
- 48:42Speaker 3: How many points did you wager?
- 48:43Speaker 2: I did them all all?
- 48:46Speaker 3: Forty two hundred and Odra? What did you answer? What
- 48:52Speaker 3: is weed? I'm sorry, that's wrong.
- 48:56Speaker 2: I was not in that episode, and I knew that
- 49:00Speaker 2: I could not think of something else, and I could
- 49:02Speaker 2: not live in a world where I didn't give an
- 49:03Speaker 2: answer to the fine.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Well, Jeopardy, Matt, as long as you didn't wager everything,
- 49:09Speaker 3: you're gonna win this game. How much did you wager?
- 49:12Speaker 1: I waged fifty big ones.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Fifty points fifty, so she couldn't possibly have caught you,
- 49:19Speaker 3: and your answer what is Cyberpunk? Twenty seventy seven is
- 49:25Speaker 3: also wrong? Fifty Stevie was not in that episode. It
- 49:31Speaker 3: was me and Augy episode.

- 50:18Speaker 3: We're not gonna keep going. This is it the last one.
- 50:22Speaker 3: The player who gets this last game will get seven
- 50:25Speaker 3: out of thirteen and win the whole gosh.
- 50:27Speaker 1: She bang, wow, the fol Yeah, the tournaments.
- 50:31Speaker 3: The whole year will come down to this one game.

- 50:40Speaker 3: They were so much fun. I can't tell you how
- 50:42Speaker 3: much fun I had writing this game. Oh all that,
- 50:45Speaker 3: all sixty clues, like coming up with the videos and
- 50:48Speaker 3: all this stuff. This was an absolute blast to do,
- 50:50Speaker 3: and I would do it again.
- 50:51Speaker 2: For free, so joy to play.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Appreciate you so much for putting those together. But I

- 51:20Speaker 3: Plenty of other games, all sorts of fun stuff, maybe
- 51:23Speaker 3: not as convoluted as this, but who knows, maybe there'll
- 51:26Speaker 3: be a BFYITW a befeopardy that sounds rude as well,
- 51:33Speaker 3: with a daily befubble.
- 51:40Speaker 1: And so we go to round thirteen. I am so
- 51:43Speaker 1: thrilled that I won that Audre is not even here
