- 1:56Speaker 1: That's exactly right. So we dive in. We should should do.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna go first. I don't care my case is
- 2:03Speaker 1: a little a little shorter than yours. Go Firstcuffer Starr
- 2:07Speaker 1: to Judge mathis my faith, Yes, Judge matthis this is
- 2:10Speaker 1: an oldie, but a goodie. I feel like Devin Harris,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't her name might be pronounced Davon, but I
- 2:17Speaker 1: feel like he says Devin. I don't know, Devin Harris
- 2:19Speaker 1: is suing her former This is former lover, I wrote
- 2:22Speaker 1: down former lover. They must have said it. They must
- 2:24Speaker 1: have said it. I wouldn't have written down former lover
- 2:27Speaker 1: out of nowhere they said. That is suing her former lover,
- 2:31Speaker 1: Waddell Smith for five thousand dollars. Whoa Waddell counter suing
- 2:37Speaker 1: for five thousand dollars. Devon says, I met Wadell years ago.
- 2:41Speaker 1: He came off as okay till he drank. When he drank,
- 2:44Speaker 1: he became violent. Okay. So just so just domestic abuse
- 2:48Speaker 1: right off the bat. Mathis you'd think he would really
- 2:51Speaker 1: be like serious about this. Instead, he says, we call
- 2:54Speaker 1: those beer muscles. And that's a decision. Joe matthis, Judge
- 2:57Speaker 1: matthis made that I think is wrong. It's a bad
- 3:01Speaker 1: decision on the part of Judge mathis no longer my faith. Math. Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but you can't. You can't. A person can't tell you.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That they've been abused and then you make a joke
- 3:12Speaker 3: beer muscles, beer muscles.
- 3:13Speaker 1: That's tough. She's suing her former lover Waddell Smith. Devon says,
- 3:18Speaker 1: uh that Waddell in March asked to use my car,
- 3:22Speaker 1: he said. Matthew says, were you all datede dating at
- 3:25Speaker 1: the time? Where's my car. Waddell says, no, you're, Honor,
- 3:28Speaker 1: We weren't dating at the time. I just asked to
- 3:30Speaker 1: use your car. Uh uh. Devon looks a little less
- 3:34Speaker 1: sure that they weren't dating. Mathis says, did you guys
- 3:36Speaker 1: have relations? Devon says, yes, off and on, we had relations.
- 3:40Speaker 1: That's usually Mathis so sex buddies. So Mathis has all
- 3:43Speaker 1: kinds of jokes today. For some reason or another. Waddell
- 3:46Speaker 1: says she was the neighborhood you know, your honor. Oh no,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and then he says, she took a speckle speckle, she
- 3:55Speaker 1: took a special liking speed, she took a special liking
- 3:59Speaker 1: to me. Uh. And she tried to put two of
- 4:02Speaker 1: her kids on me, basically saying that I was the
- 4:05Speaker 1: father of two of her kids.
- 4:07Speaker 3: So they had been They had been at least in
- 4:09Speaker 3: some way, shape or form connected for multiple multiple years
- 4:14Speaker 3: two kids to be Boln correct, multiple years.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yes, and in fact this place, this case takes place
- 4:19Speaker 1: in the late two thousands. She references meeting him in
- 4:22Speaker 1: nineteen ninety three, so they've known each other for fifteen
- 4:25Speaker 1: years or more. Devon's like, that's not true, your on or,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I ever did that? What was like, your honor, she
- 4:30Speaker 1: tried to murder me. Devon says, you're on right, didn't
- 4:35Speaker 1: do that. He thought the child was his. He took
- 4:38Speaker 1: a paternity test, he says, your honor, I didn't think
- 4:41Speaker 1: the child was mine. But if you refuse the paternity test,
- 4:44Speaker 1: they grant the custom. They basically say that it's your kid,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you have to take the paternity test. And where I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: from in Michigan, and Devon's like that's not true. He's like,
- 4:52Speaker 1: it is true, matthis is like whatever, move on. The
- 4:54Speaker 1: kids weren't yours, and he said, and he says, you're right,
- 4:59Speaker 1: they weren't mine. Says I told him. He tried to
- 5:01Speaker 1: come use my car. I told him he could not
- 5:03Speaker 1: use my car. We got into a physical altercation, and
- 5:06Speaker 1: then he took my keys from me and left. This
- 5:09Speaker 1: is sad. He took my keys, left of my car,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and then he got an accident in my car, and
- 5:15Speaker 1: then when the police showed up, he fled the scene
- 5:17Speaker 1: of the accident.
- 5:18Speaker 3: This is always my fear when I borrow someone's car.
- 5:21Speaker 3: It's like if I get in a crash, this is
- 5:22Speaker 3: going to complicate that.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Shock you learn. I've never had that fear in my life.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Not once have I had a fear about wrecking somebody
- 5:29Speaker 1: else's car. We just don't care about people as much
- 5:30Speaker 1: as I do. I guess, I guess that's what it is. Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you've driven my blazer, I know, and I'm always a
- 5:36Speaker 1: little bit concerned, a little bit concerned. I don't want
- 5:38Speaker 1: anything to get in the way of what we have,
- 5:39Speaker 1: what we have. Do you think it would I don't
- 5:41Speaker 1: think if you wrecked my Blazer, I would be like
- 5:44Speaker 1: different towards you. There's so many things that could happen.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I would hope not I would hope you're okay, but
- 5:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't let you drive it if I didn't care
- 5:51Speaker 1: more about you. I understand that. But let's sayings.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But let's just say I got drunk before I took
- 5:56Speaker 3: the car, Right That complicated things?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah? I think it does. But I think that what
- 6:03Speaker 1: would happen between us would have little to do with
- 6:05Speaker 1: my car and a lot to do with your drinking.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You know what totally messed me up, though, And I'll
- 6:10Speaker 1: tell you this right now. You know who did Cinderella?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Is that? Who did Cinderella? Disney Prince Michael W. Stephen Curtis. Oh,
- 6:20Speaker 1: Stephen Curtis Chapman.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Okay, so Stephen Curtis's kid, Yeah backed, now we're real serious. Yes,
- 6:25Speaker 3: So Stephen Curtis's kid, just driving the family car, was
- 6:28Speaker 3: backing out of the driveway, ran over his kid's sister
- 6:31Speaker 3: that died.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yes, I am on gavel, we're doing it. I think
- 6:35Speaker 1: about that almost every time I back up. I think
- 6:37Speaker 1: about that whenever I pull into the driveway. Really, I
- 6:40Speaker 1: always am like, I drive fairly fast, as you might know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and when I pull in the driveway, I always immediately,
- 6:47Speaker 1: like almost come to a complete stop because in my
- 6:49Speaker 1: head it's like my kid could run at it in
- 6:50Speaker 1: a minute. Yeah, I think about all the time.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Stephen Curtis Chapman's story affected us all in different Ways's right,
- 6:55Speaker 3: and I can't believe we got here.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Let's get back to the But but my what I'm
- 7:02Speaker 1: saying is is my car is not that important. Your
- 7:04Speaker 1: your friendship is more important than my car. Is. Let's
- 7:08Speaker 1: let's try uh, let's try right. Start drinking now, all right?
- 7:13Speaker 1: So she says, he fled the scene, and then I
- 7:16Speaker 1: followed the police report on him. He and he went
- 7:21Speaker 1: to jail. He actually served jail time, and he got
- 7:24Speaker 1: out of jail started harassing me. I got a restraining
- 7:27Speaker 1: order on him. This all led why did he start
- 7:30Speaker 1: harassing her? She I think it's I don't know exactly,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but you need to hear this. She says, he got
- 7:36Speaker 1: a jail and started harassing me. I got a restraining
- 7:38Speaker 1: or on him, a restraining order on him. Then he
- 7:40Speaker 1: came to my house and this all led to me
- 7:41Speaker 1: having to shoot him. So I want to be very clear.
- 7:45Speaker 1: She admits in the courtroom to using a gun on brandished, brandished, brandished, brandished,
- 7:54Speaker 1: branded brandish, your weapon, Uh, mathes Is, why did you
- 7:58Speaker 1: shoot him? And she said he came back at me
- 8:01Speaker 1: again and I was ready, and Matthew goes, I bet
- 8:03Speaker 1: he didn't do it again, did he? And everybody laughed,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and then Mathis explains so that she should.
- 8:10Speaker 2: So.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Mathis then explains something that I would love a lawyer's
- 8:14Speaker 1: take on. I can't imagine this being true, which is
- 8:16Speaker 1: you were allowed to defend yourself with like force or
- 8:20Speaker 1: like weaponry. And what that means is is that like
- 8:23Speaker 1: he uses two examples, He's like, one example, if you
- 8:26Speaker 1: could prove that the man was bigger or stronger than you,
- 8:29Speaker 1: then you would need a weapon to equal that strength.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So Mathis said, if I thought someone who was a
- 8:36Speaker 1: martial artist and could use their body as a weapon,
- 8:40Speaker 1: then I could have a gun to equal that out.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Yeah. Now I
- 8:46Speaker 1: would all for her shooting this guy if he was
- 8:48Speaker 1: abusing her, Like, I'm all for it. But that is
- 8:51Speaker 1: a wild thing that I didn't know as part of
- 8:53Speaker 1: the law. If it is part of life.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I mean, it sounds pretty similar to Florida standard ground law.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Stand your ground though, is is like, if you are
- 9:01Speaker 3: even remotely intimidated by what's going on, you can use
- 9:04Speaker 3: your weapon. Yeah, I mean I hate to stay in
- 9:06Speaker 3: your ground all though, this sounds like it would be
- 9:08Speaker 3: more in the favor of the person who is defenseless
- 9:10Speaker 3: than stay in your ground. Okay, stand your ground is
- 9:12Speaker 3: just like you don't like what's going on? Yeah, light
- 9:15Speaker 3: them up, that's exactly right.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Uh. So he explains this, uh to the courtroom. Uh,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I lost my place entirely used the weapon, and then
- 9:25Speaker 1: he and Mathis was talking about it. Yeah. Yeah, so
- 9:28Speaker 1: what else, like, first of all, your honor before we
- 9:30Speaker 1: go any further, there is no record of me battering
- 9:34Speaker 1: this woman at all. I didn't put my hands on her.
- 9:37Speaker 1: That's not true. You know that raattering? He said, battering.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Wow to the word battering. He goes, look at the
- 9:42Speaker 1: police reports, look at anything you want to look at
- 9:44Speaker 1: that is not that's not true. Mathis says, did you
- 9:48Speaker 1: go to jail? He says, yes, I went to jail,
- 9:51Speaker 1: and he goes, but it wasn't for abuse. It was
- 9:53Speaker 1: for fleeing the scene of a car accident. She reported
- 9:57Speaker 1: the cars stolen. I fled because I didn't want to
- 10:00Speaker 1: get arrested for stealing a vehicle, knowing I felt like
- 10:03Speaker 1: I didn't steal it. I have the police report right here.
- 10:05Speaker 1: You can look at this police report. It says nothing
- 10:07Speaker 1: about abuse, nothing about physical education, nothing but any of that.
- 10:10Speaker 3: That's not what this is about, as matthis saying that
- 10:12Speaker 3: because you went to jail for stealing her car when
- 10:16Speaker 3: you show back up on her property, it is reasonable
- 10:19Speaker 3: to assume that there is some.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Mathistist's say that, but that's what he's inferring. Sure, And
- 10:24Speaker 1: then he says, were you convicted of a crime, and
- 10:29Speaker 1: he says, yes, of fleeing the scene. I served six
- 10:32Speaker 1: months in jail. He goes, six months in jail for
- 10:35Speaker 1: fleeing the scene. I don't believe you. I don't believe
- 10:38Speaker 1: it was for that. Was this your first conviction? Wad
- 10:41Speaker 1: Elvin says, I couldn't post the bond, so I had
- 10:44Speaker 1: to sit there until they let me out, until the
- 10:47Speaker 1: process was done, and he said. Mathis goes, wait a minute,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you said you played guilty. You said you played guilty,
- 10:53Speaker 1: which means you wouldn't have to sit around for a bond.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They would just sentence you at that time. And there's
- 10:57Speaker 1: no way they sentenced you for six months just for
- 10:59Speaker 1: fleeing the scene of the crime. He says, your honor,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I signed a plea bargain. Then they released me. And
- 11:06Speaker 1: he goes, I feel like you're changing your story. And
- 11:07Speaker 1: he says, first of all, it says abuse nowhere on there.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I didn't abuse her. Second of all, I have hospital
- 11:14Speaker 1: bills from where she shot me, and I'm gonna I'm
- 11:20Speaker 1: gonna deliver those to the front right now. And then
- 11:24Speaker 1: Matthis without blinking, goes, Okay, how much time did she get?
- 11:28Speaker 1: She shot you twice? How much jail time did she get?
- 11:33Speaker 1: He said, I don't know she shot me in the
- 11:35Speaker 1: shoulder and in the leg. He goes. He turns to
- 11:40Speaker 1: Devon and goes, were you Were you convicted and sentence
- 11:43Speaker 1: to jail for shooting this man? Devon goes. No, Mathis goes,
- 11:48Speaker 1: why do you think she shot you twice and wasn't convicted?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Waddell says, she, first of all, your honor, she shot
- 11:56Speaker 1: me because I was with another woman. She was mad
- 11:58Speaker 1: that I wasn't her kids FI and if she couldn't
- 12:02Speaker 1: have me, then nobody could have me. Then she opened fire.
- 12:06Speaker 1: That's what happened. She opened fire. There was no feuding
- 12:09Speaker 1: back and forth. She invited me to a party. She
- 12:13Speaker 1: invited me to her house. I came invited, and then
- 12:16Speaker 1: when she saw was with another woman, she shot me twice.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Do he have that invitation? That's what happened. We don't
- 12:21Speaker 1: have that invitation. No Mathis goes, did the did you
- 12:25Speaker 1: tell the police that? Did you tell the police what
- 12:27Speaker 1: you just told me? He says, yes, sir, he said,
- 12:28Speaker 1: all right, read it on the police report. Read it
- 12:31Speaker 1: that you told the police that you came to her
- 12:34Speaker 1: house invited and then she shot you. I don't think
- 12:36Speaker 1: it's going to say that he says, well, doesn't say that,
- 12:39Speaker 1: but when I filed the police report after being I
- 12:41Speaker 1: did file a police report on her after being shot.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So uh, Mathis goes, ma'am, you were never arrested for
- 12:49Speaker 1: shooting this man. Never And she goes, no, I wasn't arrested,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and he says, can you prove that she shot you?
- 12:57Speaker 1: He said, yeah, here's the police report after she shot
- 13:00Speaker 1: me where I talked to the police. The police report
- 13:03Speaker 1: says that he was on top of her. She fired
- 13:08Speaker 1: her first shot off he got off of her. She
- 13:13Speaker 1: fired a second shot. That's what it says. Mathis is
- 13:17Speaker 1: ready to rule. That's not good. What is she suing for?
- 13:22Speaker 1: She's suing for the he wrecked her car wrecked the car, Yes,
- 13:30Speaker 1: she not. In short, that is all I got to
- 13:35Speaker 1: why she's sue him for five thousand dollars. I'll give
- 13:37Speaker 1: her the money because it's pretty clear he's a liar,
- 13:42Speaker 1: and I think the police report proves that. So I'm
- 13:44Speaker 1: going to give him the money, even though I'm not
- 13:45Speaker 1: totally sure about the logistics of the Mathis is like
- 13:48Speaker 1: judgment for the plane. If you clearly abused her and
- 13:52Speaker 1: then you tried to do it again, and she showed
- 13:55Speaker 1: you what was up. She showed you what happened. All
- 13:57Speaker 1: of that is well and good. Doesn't have anything to
- 13:59Speaker 1: do with the car. And I don't know why I am.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I gotta be honest. I might have missed at the beginning.
- 14:03Speaker 1: It might be automobile stuff and emotional distress or harassment
- 14:07Speaker 1: or anything that would be granted this money. He's gotta
- 14:09Speaker 1: be right.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, you would think so, because they didn't spend nearly
- 14:11Speaker 3: enough time on the bar.
- 14:13Speaker 1: No all, no, no, no, they got they got passed.
- 14:15Speaker 1: That pretty interesting. I mean she shot at point blank twice,
- 14:17Speaker 1: so good for her. Uh. Interesting case, Yeah, interesting case.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Let's head over to Judge Faith. Shall we love?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Where Larry Jones Larry suing Melvin Bray for eighteen hundred
- 14:30Speaker 3: dollars the cost of a casket, and Melvin Bray is
- 14:36Speaker 3: countersuing twenty five hundred dollars for slander.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Are you ready? I'm ready. Larry Jones' mom passed away
- 14:44Speaker 1: and he began to look for a casket. As he's
- 14:46Speaker 1: preparing for the ceremony, his friend tells him about Melvin
- 14:53Speaker 1: Melvin can get you a Casketlvin Melvin's a casket.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Guy, casket guy. So he uh gets it's a call
- 15:00Speaker 3: from Melvin. I guess his buddy told Melvin, hey give
- 15:04Speaker 3: Larry a call and told him to send me a
- 15:08Speaker 3: picture of the casket that you want and I'll get
- 15:12Speaker 3: it for you for a good price.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Signed men the casket God. That's exactly right. Uh.
- 15:16Speaker 3: So Larry goes to the funeral home checking out caskets,
- 15:22Speaker 3: takes a picture of the one that he likes and
- 15:25Speaker 3: not at all just send it over to him, and
- 15:29Speaker 3: Melvin tells Larry that it's going to be eighteen hundred dollars,
- 15:32Speaker 3: so he writes him a check for eighteen hundred dollars.
- 15:36Speaker 3: He arrives at the mortuary and the casket is not
- 15:39Speaker 3: the casket that he ordered. Dan the casket God, I understand,
- 15:45Speaker 3: but it's not the casket that he ordered, so he
- 15:47Speaker 3: decides not to use it and decides to use a
- 15:50Speaker 3: casket that the mortuary had on sites that was also
- 15:54Speaker 3: very nice. It cost him three thousand dollars, so all
- 15:58Speaker 3: in all done, he's out forty eight dollars on caskets,
- 16:02Speaker 3: one of which he's not going to use. We see
- 16:05Speaker 3: a picture of the casket that he wanted compared to
- 16:09Speaker 3: the one that he guts. It is relatively similar. The
- 16:14Speaker 3: one that he got definitely looks cheaper. The handles aren't
- 16:19Speaker 3: the same. There's no praying hands on it, which was
- 16:22Speaker 3: a big deal Larry. It's also a twenty gauge casket
- 16:28Speaker 3: in seven eighteen. Gage, I don't really know what that means.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You don't know what. I don't know. Apparently not.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I don't really understand what that means, but not the
- 16:38Speaker 3: gauge that he wanted. Melvin explains that he didn't just
- 16:43Speaker 3: get him a casket based off a picture. He sat
- 16:46Speaker 3: down with Larry showed him a casket catalog and pointed
- 16:50Speaker 3: to the one that he wanted, and that's the one
- 16:52Speaker 3: he got. Larry says, I never looked at a catalog
- 16:56Speaker 3: with Melvin.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I looked at a catalog at the mortuary. I looked
- 17:00Speaker 1: at caskets at the mortuary. I did him. I sent
- 17:04Speaker 1: him the pictures along with the info. She asks for
- 17:08Speaker 1: a text.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Of him sitting that information, and Larry says, I do
- 17:12Speaker 3: not have that text. Melvin insists that he came to
- 17:17Speaker 3: his house and showed him the catalog. She asks for
- 17:21Speaker 3: paperwork showcasing that he purchased from him, and he says
- 17:25Speaker 3: he doesn't have any paperwork. Melvin Cask doesn't deal in
- 17:27Speaker 3: paper work. He doesn't have any paper right now. He says,
- 17:29Speaker 3: I didn't anticipate being sued. It's been two years since
- 17:33Speaker 3: this happened. I didn't save any paperwork.
- 17:36Speaker 1: She asked Larry why it took.
- 17:38Speaker 3: So long to sue, and he says, well, he was
- 17:40Speaker 3: told by Melvin that he'd get his money back, which
- 17:43Speaker 3: he never did, so I finally had to sue him.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yes, he doesn't have proof of that. Melvin says, no,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I never said that.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I told him I would take the casket back and
- 17:51Speaker 3: try to sell it, and when I do, I will
- 17:54Speaker 3: get you your money back.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Great.
- 17:56Speaker 3: She asked Larry where the casket is now. He says
- 17:59Speaker 3: that it is still at the mortuary. They said they
- 18:01Speaker 3: would hold on to it in case I needed to
- 18:03Speaker 3: sue mortuary.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Doing a mortuary is out here. You went with Melvin
- 18:08Speaker 1: the casket.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Well, for you, you're probably gonna you're probably gonna wanna
- 18:12Speaker 3: wanna have this on hand.
- 18:14Speaker 1: She asked Melvin one more time if he is sure
- 18:18Speaker 1: that that's the casket Larry picked out. Melvin says yes,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I am sure. She says, well, that makes Larry's action
- 18:27Speaker 1: seem kind of wild.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Melvin, he chose not to use your casket and spend
- 18:33Speaker 3: another three thousand dollars on top of what he already
- 18:36Speaker 3: spent for another casket. I'm not sure why he would
- 18:40Speaker 3: do that if you provided the casket that he requested.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Melvin says, well, it's all here on the receipt. I
- 18:46Speaker 1: do have a receipt and it says all sales are final.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Larry hands Larry has the receipt and he hands it
- 18:54Speaker 3: over and Larry says, as you can see on the receipt,
- 18:57Speaker 3: I ordered an eighteen gage.
- 19:00Speaker 1: A twenty gauge. Does the receipt say what he ordered
- 19:04Speaker 1: or say what was provided? It says what he ordered.
- 19:09Speaker 1: It's a receipt. It's a yes. So this is so
- 19:13Speaker 1: he It says in the receipt, here's what you ordered.
- 19:15Speaker 3: You ordered a blah blah blah casket eighteen gauge, the
- 19:19Speaker 3: casket that showed up twenty gauge.
- 19:21Speaker 1: But he does say all sales are final? Does say
- 19:23Speaker 1: all sales are final? Interesting?
- 19:26Speaker 3: Uh, Faith asked Melvin, what's up with that? Melvin says,
- 19:30Speaker 3: just stares at her, and she's like, are you gonna
- 19:34Speaker 3: answer her?
- 19:34Speaker 1: We're just gonna stare at each other. He then stares
- 19:36Speaker 1: at the picture on the screen and he just says,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's the casket he chose.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Face says not according to the paperwork. She has Melvin
- 19:44Speaker 3: about his countersuit, and he says he's out there on
- 19:47Speaker 3: the streets talking, and she says what streets? And he
- 19:51Speaker 3: just shakes his head, and then he says something I've
- 19:53Speaker 3: never heard in all of our years.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I'm ready of yo gavel gavel, which is I wo
- 19:58Speaker 1: withdraw my countersuit? What that is said? Why?
- 20:04Speaker 3: She says, you're just gonna with dry your catasuit based
- 20:06Speaker 3: on my question, which is what streets?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Was he talking? And he says, yeah, I'm gonna I'm
- 20:11Speaker 1: gonna withdraw, and she's ready to rule. Well, based upon
- 20:15Speaker 1: Melvin's actions there at the end, I think Larr's getting
- 20:18Speaker 1: his money back. I don't know if it's that cut
- 20:21Speaker 1: and dry, though, I honestly don't, because you went with
- 20:25Speaker 1: a casket guy, first of all. Second of all, it
- 20:28Speaker 1: says all sales are final, and third of all, there's
- 20:31Speaker 1: no the only you don't have anything else, but you
- 20:34Speaker 1: just don't have anything else. It's that eighteen to twenty
- 20:37Speaker 1: gauge thing. I think she's based upon the fact that
- 20:40Speaker 1: he didn't know how to answer the question and that
- 20:42Speaker 1: he writt like withdrew his countersuit immediately.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I think I think Larrer's getting his money eighteen hundreds.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Larry is getting his bunny. He's gonna get the eighteen
- 20:51Speaker 3: hundred dollars. But he does have to return the caskets
- 20:54Speaker 3: and if Melvin wants to try to sell it again,
- 20:56Speaker 3: he can.
- 20:57Speaker 1: But in the after cam, in the.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Afterca call It on Jee faith Is Show, Melvin says
- 21:03Speaker 3: that he's going to donate the casket.
- 21:05Speaker 1: To someone in the community. Look at that, Look at this.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I don't really know what happened to Melvin in this
- 21:10Speaker 1: in this court. Yeah, maybe it seems like something really
- 21:13Speaker 1: got to Melvin and he began to think about I
- 21:16Speaker 1: don't know what happened, but it at one and when
- 21:19Speaker 1: she asks him what he when he says he was
- 21:23Speaker 1: on the streets talking, and she says, what's what? What?
- 21:25Speaker 1: What streets? It is as if he had he'd never
- 21:30Speaker 1: thought about this before, and it all just suddenly hits
- 21:34Speaker 1: him and he has a change of I don't know
- 21:36Speaker 1: what happened, but it was really something. So shout out Melvin,
- 21:40Speaker 1: proof that he can. It's never too late. Did you
- 21:42Speaker 1: never too like to change even when you're in court,
- 21:44Speaker 1: too late to do the right things what we did? Everybody? Congratulations?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Coming back next week. I think we should do this
- 21:49Speaker 1: all over again. I love it. I was going on
