Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
January 14th, 2024. Nice win for everybody.
• 0:30
Yesterday, Cousin Vinny got the hit.
• 0:34
I got the hit. The Peacocks got the hit.
• 0:37
Everybody got the win. Bada boom, bada Bing.
• 0:41
Except for the two teams that lost.
• 0:42
But you know, hey, it's the Browns of the Dolphins.
• 0:44
Nobody cares. All right, so today we got two
• 0:50
more games with the Buffalo game, Bills by a billion.
• 0:54
Push to tomorrow, any game indoors.
• 0:58
This weekend I'm thinking over. And tonight, the late night
• 1:03
game, we got two teams that like to score but aren't really big
• 1:09
on letting and stopping the other team from scoring.
• 1:12
So we got the Rams going into the Lions.
• 1:15
Now, I don't think the Lions have hosted a game since like
• 1:18
the Bush years. And I'm talking about the first
• 1:21
Bush, not the second Bush Daddy Bush.
• 1:23
All right, so let's see. Total is sitting at 52 1/2.
• 1:31
Ain't no way it's staying under, ain't no way.
• 1:33
I like this all the way up to probably 60 that I would take
• 1:37
the over. And it's sitting at 52 1/2, so
• 1:41
easy taking the over. So we're going over 52.5 total
• 1:46
points between the Rams and Lions in today's Tonight's NFC
• 1:52
playoff wild card action. See anything better than that?
• 1:57
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:58
to it. Here it's calls mini.
• 2:09
It's wild card weekend, Sunday edition.
• 2:13
I hope everybody was able to get their picks in yesterday.
• 2:16
I hope everyone took my advice and took the Houston Texans
• 2:19
money line over to Cleveland Browns.
• 2:22
Not only did they win, they blew the doors off the Browns and
• 2:27
open the can of whoop ass on that defense and send Joe Flacco
• 2:30
back to Audubon NJ in his Volvo. So what I want you to do is take
• 2:35
your winnings from yesterday from the Houston Texans money
• 2:38
line and I want you to roll them into another money line today.
• 2:42
Now today's money line we love is the LA Rams at plus 140
• 2:48
against the Detroit Lions. The spread of this game is
• 2:52
actually the Rams getting four points straight up at.
• 2:56
We like the Rams straight up here at 1:40.
• 2:59
I think you get a lot more value because I do think they are
• 3:02
going to win this game. I mean, just it's not
• 3:04
overthinking here. Let's just look at every the key
• 3:06
matchups here. Quarterback who has the
• 3:08
advantage the Rams was Stafford over Goff.
• 3:11
Coach who has the advantage? The Rams.
• 3:14
  McVeigh over Campbell. Defense.
• 3:16
  They both stink offensive weapons.
• 3:19
Weapons, probably. The most even matched, but even
• 3:22
  here I got. To give.
• 3:22
The edge. To the Rams with Cooper Cup and
• 3:25
Puka Nakua, which I. Probably only said their names
• 3:28
because they're fun to say, but nonetheless we love.
• 3:32
The Rams to go into Detroit? Who?
• 3:34
Has not hosted a playoff game since like 2011, so the only
• 3:38
advantage that the Detroit Lions have today is home field
• 3:41
advantage. But I don't even know how much
• 3:43
of A home field advantage that is going to be because these
• 3:45
fans don't even know how to have home field advantage.
• 3:48
This is the first playoff game since a lot of these fans have
• 3:50
probably been rooting for the team.
• 3:53
But yeah, let's just keep keep rolling here with the.
• 3:55
  Money line picks. Roll the.
• 3:57
Texans money line into the Rams money line a.
• 4:00
Plus 140 and it's easy money. All right, so.
• 4:04
I'll be back tomorrow with my final.
• 4:06
Wild card weekend Monday edition pick, but until then, it's
• 4:11
Cousin Vinny with your lock of the day.
