- 0:08Speaker 1: got spray tands over the weekend because there's some honks
- 0:10Speaker 1: in here. They've been in town for the Hay you
- 0:13Speaker 1: fan fest. They're all the way from Charleston, South Carolina.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's Craig and Shep from the hit show called Southern Charm.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Let's get them.
- 0:22Speaker 2: On the.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Best season on Southern Charm. I caught up.

- 0:35Speaker 4: Crept Austin hates me.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yes, I do.
- 0:39Speaker 1: On the Smallsy Show right now. Two very proper, very
- 0:43Speaker 1: fine gentlemen joining us here.
- 0:45Speaker 4: It's all a show.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It's all Craig Shep from Southern Charm. Welcome to the show.
- 0:52Speaker 1: For people who know the show Southern Charm, it's been
- 0:54Speaker 1: going on for fourteen years with your life on the TV.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Is there any not greats? But is there anything you'd
- 1:01Speaker 1: want to do over again?
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:03Speaker 2: I blacked out for an entire reunion. I would probably
- 1:07Speaker 2: change that.
- 1:08Speaker 3: There's certain episodes and but.
- 1:10Speaker 4: No, I mean we wouldn't. You said it yesterday? We
- 1:12Speaker 4: wouldn't change anything because it's led to where we're at now.
- 1:15Speaker 2: And I think that's where the beauty of our show
- 1:18Speaker 2: comes from. Is you've gotten to live a third of
- 1:20Speaker 2: our lives with us and man to our detriment, we
- 1:23Speaker 2: don't know how to not share everything with the world.
- 1:27Speaker 2: So it's kind of become our lives.
- 1:28Speaker 3: And the doors it's opened and the opportunities it's provided.
- 1:32Speaker 3: It's amazing and you figure out that, you know, people
- 1:34Speaker 3: are more similar than you think.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Everyone's going through the same stuff, they just might not
- 1:38Speaker 2: talk about it all the time.
- 1:39Speaker 1: No, I do agree.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I think the crazy thing is we did We didn't
- 1:42Speaker 3: seek out an entertainment life at all, right, really, yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 3: and so it sort of fell into our laps, which
- 1:47Speaker 3: I think makes the show that much more authentic. What
- 1:50Speaker 3: is it?
- 1:50Speaker 1: It's the vibe of people in Charleston in general, because
- 1:53Speaker 1: it's not like the hugest city, right and fourteen years
- 1:56Speaker 1: of making the show, like do they would definitely be like,
- 1:59Speaker 1: uh they come again.
- 2:00Speaker 2: The beginning, Yeah, very disgruntled the beginning, the locals were
- 2:04Speaker 2: like God, and then they realized it doesn't and it's
- 2:08Speaker 2: been good for business.
- 2:09Speaker 4: You know, people love to travel to Charleston and.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Are they tours like Southern charm tours?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, people are looking for us on any particular
- 2:18Speaker 3: no doubt. Yeah, I have a knock on our front door. No.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not a little crazy. But see scavenger hunts
- 2:26Speaker 2: you can check off. Yeah, the uber drivers. People will
- 2:28Speaker 2: pay the uber drivers to take them by our houses
- 2:30Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Okay, that would have been was that That would have
- 2:33Speaker 1: been fun the first year. But then as the show
- 2:35Speaker 1: has become more popular, you know a bit like we
- 2:38Speaker 1: should put a gate up.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Well yeah, then they climb around the gate and it's
- 2:41Speaker 4: a whole thing.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Were you both have single right?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Yes we are.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Any ladies caught your eye, well you're hear hell.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Yeah every time I walked down the street. Okay, So
- 2:52Speaker 3: we just haven't had a lot of time to socialize.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We've been, we've been.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I haven't talked to any of them, but I've seen
- 2:57Speaker 4: people that I would like to talk.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Are you hunting?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Big Game?
- 3:02Speaker 4: Chef is always always hunt. He's got a lifelong hunting.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I have a sherpa.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yay right here, yes, now talk to me about the show.
- 3:15Speaker 1: How many cameras are they on a normal shooting schedule
- 3:18Speaker 1: of following you around two crews.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I have at least eight cameras on me at all times. Wow,
- 3:23Speaker 2: depends on who you are now, kidd.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Two or three cameras on you.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's funny because I just did a movie
- 3:29Speaker 2: and it's shot with one camera, and I had no
- 3:31Speaker 2: idea because we're used to multiicams.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, movie, you got to do the same thing
- 3:35Speaker 1: seventeen times because it's only one camera.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Well, chef doesn't like that. We have to walk in.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Well, we have to do our entrances three ties. That's
- 3:42Speaker 2: a little bit of a trade secret.
- 3:44Speaker 3: And it's it's a little bit when you have the cameras,
- 3:46Speaker 3: the very high quality cameras that Bravo uses, sometimes you
- 3:51Speaker 3: wish they had a little gorilla style type filming, which
- 3:54Speaker 3: we've done before.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Well, it's very intrusive when we go into public.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, in a crowded place, because everyone turns look.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And you have to turn the music down wherever you
- 4:02Speaker 2: are because you don't own the rates of the music.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yes, and then also they want to make sure they
- 4:07Speaker 1: can hear the conversation about's true.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's interesting that when we're in a crowded place,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and it does work. It looks so cool because it
- 4:14Speaker 3: really looks like you're there. Yeah, yeah, it's like virtual reality.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Absolutely, Yeah, it's cool.
- 4:18Speaker 4: But you always have a camera on your face.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And so two or three, when I said you were
- 4:22Speaker 1: going to be on the show, a bunch of fans,
- 4:23Speaker 1: like obviously the fans, they've sent me a bunch of
- 4:26Speaker 1: DM questions. So I'm just going to roll through them.
- 4:28Speaker 1: One question was that Charleston is such a small city.
- 4:31Speaker 1: How hard is it to meet people there to date? Now,
- 4:34Speaker 1: everyone clearly knows who you are, and you've dated most
- 4:38Speaker 1: of the eligible chicks, right, the pool is drained. Talk
- 4:41Speaker 1: about crossover, Yeah, what's the how do we do that?
- 4:44Speaker 1: How do we handle this.
- 4:50Speaker 4: And travel?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, Craig thought he'd have a long distance girlfriend.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah, my team thinks I'm coming home with a long
- 4:58Speaker 2: distance girlfriend from Australia, which I would what's her name?
- 5:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Applications still, Yeah, I'm pretty easy on the requirements.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Just be nice to me and yeah, let's go on Charleston.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Charleston's a small pond. It's a pond.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We're getting new we're getting older people moving there now.
- 5:18Speaker 4: But for a long time. It was only college kids.
- 5:21Speaker 1: This is Craig. Your pool and entertaining area is so
- 5:24Speaker 1: well done. This is a genuine fan question. Uh, probably
- 5:28Speaker 1: Page's influence, that's just the question, just observation on your.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Area.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I thank god I had a woman's touch.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I put we we basically redid the entire backyard and
- 5:41Speaker 2: house together, and people are like, oh, are you going
- 5:44Speaker 2: to change it now?
- 5:45Speaker 4: And I'm like, heck, no, she did. We did a
- 5:47Speaker 4: great job.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah. You know when it comes to the house, your houses,
- 5:50Speaker 1: is there like rooms they don't go into because who
- 5:52Speaker 1: I swear, I don't know, I've in If you tell
- 5:55Speaker 1: many people who had like those reality series camera crews
- 5:58Speaker 1: in the house, there's some areas then are off limits.
- 6:01Speaker 3: But the cruise remember Craig season, I mean, oh Craig, Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 3: it was such a rat dash room. Yeah, he freak out,
- 6:08Speaker 3: there's laundry up to your chest.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that was you know, there was a lot of
- 6:14Speaker 2: There was years that I was trying to I was
- 6:17Speaker 2: trying to like display a person that I had home
- 6:20Speaker 2: yet yeah, and that is Yeah, there were definitely gears
- 6:24Speaker 2: where I tried to like throw everything in a room.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Fortunately now they can I let the cruise in when
- 6:29Speaker 2: I'm not even there, which never used to have.
- 6:31Speaker 4: And now go in the house, do whatever you want.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Good luck trying to keep a secret in the crew?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, cast, Yeah, are they cameras following you now?
- 6:40Speaker 4: No, we just wrapped.
- 6:41Speaker 2: So we just finished filming season twelve, which will put
- 6:46Speaker 2: us over the two hundred episode mark, which is crazys
- 6:50Speaker 2: and thank you, And.
- 6:51Speaker 3: When I'm old and in a nursing home, I'll watch
- 6:53Speaker 3: it back. Yeah, but repeat.
- 6:56Speaker 4: We're proud of the cast chemistry.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Right now, for the first time in a long time,
- 7:00Speaker 2: we've got a group chat that's active and we're seeing it.
- 7:03Speaker 4: It's we're proud of our show and our team.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And it constantly surprises me that that there's still meat
- 7:09Speaker 3: left on the boat.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Now we say it.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Also, our tone will change when the show comes out.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I'm like, I hate doing this.
- 7:14Speaker 3: We do this?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Was this was the last. This was my last question
- 7:17Speaker 1: because I want to let you go. But like, do
- 7:19Speaker 1: you ever get annoyed at the edit? Do you ever
- 7:22Speaker 1: get a little angry?
- 7:23Speaker 3: If so get us started, we're gonna get struck by lightning.
- 7:26Speaker 2: It's not it's just we we get it.
- 7:29Speaker 4: We we live, We filmed so much. Yeah that it's
- 7:32Speaker 4: it's you can't show everything.
- 7:33Speaker 3: One time I said something uncomplimentary about somebody and then
- 7:36Speaker 3: that person totally validated it, but they cut the validation. No, No,
- 7:41Speaker 3: I just look like a jerk, like, yeah, so.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Well, you're doing all right. Boys, enjoy the rest of
- 7:47Speaker 1: your time here in Alls, and you know what, come
