- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: Below, multiple news outlets are reporting a major power struggle has erupted in Beijing, seemingly out of nowhere.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: Chinese President Xi Jinping has reportedly purged his childhood friend and second highest military commander, General Zhang Yuxia in what appears to be either a preemptive strike against a brewing military coup or a counter coup following an actual assassination attempt, leaving China's entire military command structure gutted and paralyzed.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: to be clear what we have to understand here is that General Zhang Yuxia wasn't just another bureaucrat.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't just another general.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: He was a 75-year-old combat veteran who had fought in the 1979 War of Vietnam.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: His father was one of Mao's founding generals, the man who ran Mao's personal security, and
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: Zhang's family and G's family fought together during the Chinese Civil War.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: They've known each other their entire lives.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: And so in 2022, when G took on an unprecedented third term, he convinced Zhang to stay on instead of retiring.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: He made him second in command of the entire military.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: China's equivalent of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs' staff.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: If anyone in the People's Liberation Army was safe,
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: until January 24th.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: When China's defense ministry announced he was under investigation for serious violations of discipline and law.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: The speed alone was shocking.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Normally, the Communist Party takes six to eight months to announce a senior purge.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: This time, the process took literally only days, five days to be exact.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the official charges against Chang sound like a Communist Party great as hits album, okay?
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Forming political clicks, abusing his authority, taking bribes, standard stuff.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: But then the Wall Street Journal reported something extraordinary.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: According to sources inside a classified briefing held January 24th, the same day as the public announcement.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: Zhang was accused of leaking core technical data on China's nuclear weapons program to the CIA.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: The leak allegedly surfaced during an investigation into the former head,
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: China National Nuclear Corporation, the state-owned entity that runs both civilian and military nuclear programs.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if true, that would be treason.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's a death sentence.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: But here's what's so odd about that Wall Street Journal report.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently, Chinese state media never mentioned the nuclear allegations.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Not once.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: The story only appeared in Western outlets like the Wall Street Journal.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: If Zhang really sold nuclear secrets to America, wouldn't Beijing want every single citizen to know about it?
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: Wouldn't they parade them on state television as a trader?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, it appears that the nuclear spy narrative was fed exclusively to foreign audiences.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's designed to make Zhang look like a Western asset while deflecting attention away from what actually is happening.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: The most significant internal power struggle inside Beijing in recent years, a power struggle so dangerous that G had to move in hours, not months.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what you need to know here is that almost no serious China analyst believes the nuclear charge.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, seriously think about it.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: Why would the highest ranking general in China, the second most powerful man in a country of 1.4 billion people, I mean literally got everything going for him, why would he suddenly turn around and share nuclear secrets with the United States?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I get if he had first defected here, sure, I get that, but why would he commit a crime punishable by death while remaining inside the very political structure that would end up punishing him?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: What does he get out of this?
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: It literally makes no sense.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: There's no conceivable rational motive here.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: What these analysts do believe?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: is that Xi Jinping barely survived.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: Here's where things get absolutely wild.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Days before the official announcement, a Chinese Canadian human rights activist named Shangyu published details from a source she calls Mr. X.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: A source who critically announced Zhang's arrest before Beijing did.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: On the evening of January 18th, Zhang and General Leo Jun Li, the chief of the Joint Staff Department, planned to arrest Xi Jinping at the Jingzhi Hotel in Western Beijing.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now apparently, Xi has no fixed resonance.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: He moves around every few days to avoid exactly this kind of threat.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: But two hours before the operation, the plan leaked.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: She left the hotel, and when Zhang's events team arrived, they walked into an ambush.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: And what happened next is gonna absolutely blow you away.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: But first gag, you know, the big medical act of 2025 was several peer-reviewed studies, identifying the direct connections between anti-paracitic medications, having off-label benefits, fighting a wide variety of cancers, and this makes sense.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: The connection between tumor growth and parasites has been known for years.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now while the CDC remains silent,
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: They've admitted that millions of Americans suffer from parasitic infections that often go undetected or undiagnosed.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is why Dr. Peter McCollock, chief scientific officer at the Wellness Company in the world's most published cardiologist, says these studies make a clear case to do at least one medical grade parasite cleanse.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: every year.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the wellness company's proprietary USA compounded I vermectin and Membendezol is a doctor prescribed gold standard combination dose designed to help the body eliminate parasites plus other incredible benefits.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: Each bottle contains 90 capsules enough.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: to complete 4-21 day cleanses.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: This high-strength formula cannot be found at your local pharmacy.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: But the wellness company removes all the red tape by making the process fully digital.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: Fill out a quick intake form, a doctor reviews it, and your medical grade parasite cleanse arrives in a week.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's time for new year, new you reset, and own your health, head to TWC.Hell Slash Turley, and use code Turley to save $90 off plus free shipping USA Residents own life.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: Reports are that 9 of G's guards were killed.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: More than a dozen of Zhang's people were killed in the firefight.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: Zhang's wife, his son, and 30 of his staff were arrested within hours.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now, obviously, we can't verify all the details of the story.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: China's a black box.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: But what we can verify is this.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Immediately after Zhang's arrest was announced, the General Staff Command System of the People's Liberation Army was suspended.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: now flowed directly through the Central Military Commission via encrypted telegrams.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: The entire military was placed on level one combat readiness.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: Troop movement were frozen.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: Every officer and soldier was ordered to surrender their mobile phones, and armored vehicles appeared on the streets, a Beijing.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Now that's not the response to a corruption case,
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: So let's zoom out here.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Back in 2022, G appointed six generals to the Central Military Commission, the body that runs the entire PLI, the People's Liberation Army.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Today, only one of those six remain.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: The rest, gone, investigated, disappeared.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Since 2023, G.S.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: purged nearly the entire leadership of the rocket force, the branch that controls China's nuclear missiles.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: Two defense ministers were moved, multiple Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission were expelled.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Bloomberg counts at least 17 generals formally investigated.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: And in 2025 alone, the Communist Party announced that 983,000 officials, that's nearly a million officials, were punished for corruption, up more than 10% from 2024.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: But jang's removal is different.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: According to the New York Times, this is the complete eradication of the high command unprecedented in the history of the Chinese military.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: The Central Military Commission now has two members, Xi Jinping and General Zhang Xiong Ming, the enforcer Xi uses to carry out the purges.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: the entire command structure of the world's largest military has been reduced to one man and his hatchet man.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: So what does this very clear power struggle mean for us?
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Well, US intelligence has long estimated that G wants the PLA ready to invade Taiwan by 2027.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: Again, that's according to US intelligence.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: But here's the problem, obviously you can't prepare for the most complex amphibious assault in history when you've purged your army if it's top generals and your entire officer corps is terrified of being arrested.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so a number of analysts believe that Taiwan is breathing a sigh of relief in all of this, that this dismantling of the PLA's
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: High command does indeed suggest that G is not planning a significant military escalation against Taiwan anytime soon.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now that's said, and this is critical, the purge is designed to elevate a whole host of capable and loyal generals who may pose a greater threat later on.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: She is only going to be appointing those who's loyalty, he's absolutely confident in.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: So, she isn't backing down long term, he's clearing the field so he can install commanders who won't question him.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's more dangerous in the long run, not less.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: So where does that leave us?
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, right now, China's military is in a crisis.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: The command structure's gutted.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: The 2027 Taiwan timeline is very much in doubt.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: And Xi Jinping is consolidating power in a way that makes long-term planning at this point nearly impossible.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: So for Taiwan, this buys time.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: For the West, it's a warning.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, obvious authoritarian regimes don't collapse on predictable schedules.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: They lurch from crisis to crisis until something breaks.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: And in Beijing, right now, it's pretty clear.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: The cracks are showing.
