- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellancamp at Tambra Judge. Hey, guys,
- 0:10Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod. And as you know,
- 0:13Speaker 1: Teddy is in the celebrity Big Brother House. So I
- 0:16Speaker 1: have a celebrity co host of my own here today,
- 0:20Speaker 1: one of my former cast mates from the Real Housewives
- 0:23Speaker 1: of Orange County, the detective Megan King. Hello, Temera, it's
- 0:29Speaker 1: not going to be here with you. Thank you for
- 0:30Speaker 1: having me. I'm excited to do this, so excited. I
- 0:34Speaker 1: feel like we chat tax back and forth, but we
- 0:37Speaker 1: haven't done anything. Like We've talked about live together and
- 0:41Speaker 1: all these things, and it has never happened. So I'm
- 0:44Speaker 1: glad to have you. We'll talk about it, We'll talk.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'm excited because we talked about the Housewives offline, but
- 0:51Speaker 1: now we get to talk about it online with everybody else,
- 0:53Speaker 1: just like we do. Anyway. Yes, and you have you
- 0:55Speaker 1: just started your own YouTube where you're recappying. Do you
- 0:58Speaker 1: want to explain that? Yeah? So, gosh, how long have
- 1:02Speaker 1: I not been on the show camera. It's been a
- 1:04Speaker 1: maybe like five years or so around there. Anyway, So
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm going back and I'm watching rewatching the episodes that
- 1:11Speaker 1: I was on and commenting on them as I go.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So I'm just I'm reacting with the reaction videos and
- 1:17Speaker 1: basically just adding the perspective that I have now after
- 1:20Speaker 1: a divorce, three kids, and a move back to St. Louis.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So it's it's been like watching miss thirty year old
- 1:29Speaker 1: through the lens of of me as a woman with
- 1:33Speaker 1: a little bit life under her belt. Yeah, a little
- 1:36Speaker 1: bit of life. And I'm sure you're just so thrilled
- 1:38Speaker 1: to watch the ones with Jim, and I'm right, I mean,
- 1:42Speaker 1: especially you know what he's ignoring me, so like, I
- 1:45Speaker 1: see what people saw now he ignores me, Like, oh wow,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I didn't see that at the time really, so it's
- 1:53Speaker 1: kind of therapeutic to go back and say, oh my god,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I saw from the very beginning he kind of was
- 1:57Speaker 1: distant and like, now I know what Vicky was saying
- 2:02Speaker 1: five years and I never thought I'd do that. But
- 2:06Speaker 1: not only that, but just like the level of denial
- 2:09Speaker 1: that I was in so powerful. I was like strong denial. Yeah, well,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I think sometimes you get to a point where you
- 2:16Speaker 1: find somebody and you're like, I just want to get married,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I want to have kids and you ignore some of
- 2:20Speaker 1: the things. You're like so in love and you ignore
- 2:23Speaker 1: I mean I did it. Yeah, yeah, it's exactly what
- 2:26Speaker 1: I talked about on my YouTube channel. Okay, a little
- 2:29Speaker 1: bit in a funny way. What is the name of
- 2:31Speaker 1: your YouTube channel. It's Megan Kings, So you just search
- 2:35Speaker 1: Megan king and and you can get it. You can
- 2:37Speaker 1: click on on it on my Instagram bio too. Okay,
- 2:41Speaker 1: so how are you doing. Everybody wants to know how
- 2:43Speaker 1: you're doing. I'm good. I'm really really well. They're great.
- 2:48Speaker 1: They're in school right now. They're um growing up, getting
- 2:51Speaker 1: big three and a half, three and a half and five.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So everybody's happy. We're just living a normal life here
- 2:58Speaker 1: in St. Louis. Still traveling a lot, but the kids
- 3:01Speaker 1: are surrounded by family here in St. Louis, so they've
- 3:04Speaker 1: got like that stability and comfort. Though. We're good. Everybody's
- 3:08Speaker 1: hanging in there. Nothing's nothing's like changed for us drastically.
- 3:12Speaker 1: We're still living in the same house, driving the same cars.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Like you were recently about your own house. Yeah, about
- 3:20Speaker 1: a year ago. That's exciting. Yeah, thanks, And I don't know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I associate like allowed a lot of um memories with
- 3:28Speaker 1: a home and it was just time for me to
- 3:30Speaker 1: move out of the home I shared with Jim. You
- 3:32Speaker 1: know what I mean to me? To own my own
- 3:34Speaker 1: home just feels so good. Like there's a lot of
- 3:36Speaker 1: people that rent houses and I'm like, I can't do that,
- 3:39Speaker 1: Like I need to like I need to nest. I
- 3:41Speaker 1: need to know that this is my home and it's
- 3:43Speaker 1: not going anywhere. So I know what you like when
- 3:46Speaker 1: you put pictures on the wall, you know, like that
- 3:48Speaker 1: says because then otherwise if you writ you've got to
- 3:51Speaker 1: like pay the you know, to get it patched up.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And everything just doesn't feel the same, not for me.
- 3:56Speaker 1: So the last few years have been a little tough
- 3:58Speaker 1: for you. But is there anything you've learned about yourself? Ye,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you're taking like some vacations by yourself. Like I don't
- 4:06Speaker 1: know you ever do that? Sure you could. I'm master
- 4:10Speaker 1: dating camera ter dating. Oh I thought you said masturbating.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I went, what, Okay, I don't need to know about
- 4:19Speaker 1: how you page. Um, yeah, no, I'm master dating. So
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm dating. That's what I called dating myself. So I'm
- 4:26Speaker 1: taking myself on some vacations and doing fun things on
- 4:28Speaker 1: my own and if somebody isn't available for friends not
- 4:31Speaker 1: available to go with me. That's okay. I'm still pushing
- 4:34Speaker 1: myself outside of my comfort zone and and having experiences
- 4:37Speaker 1: despite being a single woman, and it's been really empowering.
- 4:40Speaker 1: That's good. Now, have you been watching the new season
- 4:43Speaker 1: of Housewives Strange County? So I got to be honest,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I've never watched any of the housewives ever, and I
- 4:52Speaker 1: just did. I just started to the season. You never
- 4:56Speaker 1: watched them or you stopped watching them after you left.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I never watched any ever. Oh interesting, before I got
- 5:05Speaker 1: before I started on the Real Housewives of Orange County,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I bought the season before, like on you know, Prime
- 5:11Speaker 1: or whatever, and I tried to watch through through it,
- 5:14Speaker 1: so I like kind of knew what I was getting
- 5:16Speaker 1: it myself into. But I didn't finish the season. Now,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm not saying like I knew what the show was
- 5:21Speaker 1: about before I was on it, and I had seen clips.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'd seen you and I had seen Vicky, you know
- 5:26Speaker 1: clips here and there, so I kind of had an
- 5:27Speaker 1: idea of your general personalities. Plus I read about you
- 5:30Speaker 1: guys in the tabloids and stuff. But I never was, um,
- 5:34Speaker 1: like a an avid viewer. But You've watched a few
- 5:37Speaker 1: episodes of Orange County this season you working under bro.
- 5:41Speaker 1: What are your thoughts about how they're being back. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: think that she seems like the same kind of person
- 5:48Speaker 1: that she was when when she was on with us.
- 5:51Speaker 1: UM so changed do you think? Um? I feel like
- 5:57Speaker 1: she's a little bit more open. I think that she
- 6:01Speaker 1: got a lot of Yeah, she got a lot of
- 6:03Speaker 1: heat from I think her first few seasons she was
- 6:05Speaker 1: on that she really wasn't that open. She didn't really
- 6:08Speaker 1: really let people in. She was a little bit uptight,
- 6:11Speaker 1: and I think UM, like just talking to her as
- 6:13Speaker 1: her friends, she would say like, you know, I'm out
- 6:15Speaker 1: of my comfort zone. This is something that Terry wanted.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I didn't really want to do this. I came from scripted.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's hard for me. But I feel like she is
- 6:21Speaker 1: opening up a little bit. Like we saw the house.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Have you actually been in her house? No? Have you
- 6:27Speaker 1: I have? Yeah? No I haven't. Is it amazing? It
- 6:32Speaker 1: is amazing. It's it's it's big. It's not necessarily my style,
- 6:36Speaker 1: but it's it's beautiful. It's been it's huge. It's like
- 6:39Speaker 1: kind of like a hotel, right, it kind of looks
- 6:42Speaker 1: like a hotel, and just like watching her talk about well,
- 6:45Speaker 1: now you know, I'm going back and watching the seasons
- 6:48Speaker 1: that we were on together that I was on with
- 6:51Speaker 1: you and and Um, I hear her talk about the
- 6:54Speaker 1: budget and everything because she was still building, and so
- 6:57Speaker 1: I'm watching that at the same time as watching the
- 6:59Speaker 1: current season. So it's it's kind of cool to see
- 7:02Speaker 1: that put together. And just the pricing of everything is astronomical.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It's totally unrelatable, totally unrelatable, totally, Um, had you talked
- 7:12Speaker 1: to Heather or anybody else from yah h? Yeah, Tather
- 7:17Speaker 1: and I stay in touch a little bit. Um, you
- 7:20Speaker 1: and I started, I mean to cut you off. You
- 7:22Speaker 1: and I talked a few months ago, and Um, I
- 7:26Speaker 1: was asked to do a scene at Heather's party, and
- 7:29Speaker 1: so were you and both of us. I don't think
- 7:32Speaker 1: I was. Did you FaceTime? Didn't you tell me that
- 7:35Speaker 1: they were? He asked me to FaceTime? That was when
- 7:39Speaker 1: I got engaged or no, I got married. I got married. Um,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and she she asked to FaceTime me, and I was like,
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm not facetiming. Oh gotcha? I thought she was like
- 7:48Speaker 1: FaceTime on the show. I think, yeah, yeah, I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: to do the show. I know the answer kind of yeah,
- 7:58Speaker 1: doesn't it kind of feel like we got kicked out
- 8:00Speaker 1: of like the popular girl's class. I quit. Yeah, I
- 8:05Speaker 1: actually did quit and but then but okay, so when
- 8:08Speaker 1: I quit, I quit because I was pregnant with the twins.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And that's for real, that's not embellished. Not to say
- 8:13Speaker 1: that I wouldn't have gotten fired or something anyways, but
- 8:16Speaker 1: like I actually did quit, and but then, um, I
- 8:20Speaker 1: wanted to go back on last year and I went
- 8:22Speaker 1: through the whole casting process and I didn't get it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Now that feels like I got kicked out. Yeah, well,
- 8:28Speaker 1: how weird would it be? Like if they were to
- 8:30Speaker 1: call me, They're like, oh, casting is going to call you.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm like, why you know who I am? I was
- 8:34Speaker 1: on for? How long? Were you on for three years?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Three years? Like they know your personality and they know
- 8:39Speaker 1: what works and what doesn't work. So I mean, things
- 8:42Speaker 1: have changed in my life, So maybe that was it.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's the only thing I could really understand. But yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I mean I really I missed getting dressed up and
- 8:50Speaker 1: and like doing cool things and having your life planned
- 8:53Speaker 1: out for you. Yeah, that's what I missed to like
- 8:56Speaker 1: being something but then then the other times, I'm like,
- 8:59Speaker 1: like today I didn't want to do my hair and
- 9:01Speaker 1: I didn't want to Like I'm like, that's the part
- 9:03Speaker 1: that I don't miss is having to get all dolled
- 9:06Speaker 1: up and all the clothes and being you know, I
- 9:09Speaker 1: don't know, expensive never happy. You're never happy. Like you
- 9:12Speaker 1: miss it, but you don't win it. You can't win.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You can't win is always greener. Yeah, yeah, I mean
- 9:17Speaker 1: it would have been like watching the season back, it
- 9:19Speaker 1: makes me miss it, and I can see things now
- 9:21Speaker 1: that I that I didn't see back when I was filming,
- 9:24Speaker 1: like um, you know, for instance, I mean I kind
- 9:27Speaker 1: of saw this like I'll see the girls say like, oh,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'll pay for dinner tonight. No you're not. You're not
- 9:32Speaker 1: paying for dinner tonight. Productions paying for dinner. Yeah. Yeah,
- 9:35Speaker 1: And we're going to talk about that later on, because
- 9:37Speaker 1: that's what we do here. We kind of break things
- 9:39Speaker 1: down from you know, the perspective of oh I used
- 9:42Speaker 1: to film, I know that doesn't work that way, Like
- 9:44Speaker 1: I just died. When someone's like, well, you know how
- 9:47Speaker 1: much was the party? It was ten thousand dollars, No
- 9:50Speaker 1: it wasn't. You didn't pay anything the other does that
- 9:53Speaker 1: on this season? I know, but I feel like maybe
- 9:56Speaker 1: it was that much, and if it was, production would
- 9:59Speaker 1: never pay that much. No, right, so she probably paid
- 10:04Speaker 1: what they didn't pay. You know, my very first party
- 10:08Speaker 1: I ever did, I paid for it production? Did it really?
- 10:11Speaker 1: The wine party? Right? I don't know. Nobody told me. Well,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I'm surprised. I mean, the time they pay for stuff,
- 10:19Speaker 1: but if it's your idea and I don't know, it's
- 10:24Speaker 1: not in their budget, then they'll make you pay. So
- 10:29Speaker 1: are you dating? Yeah? Yeah, I thought, Yeah, No, I
- 10:34Speaker 1: am going on dates and stuff. I mean, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I was. I was married, but it was such a
- 10:41Speaker 1: whirlwind and from start to finish with him was only
- 10:44Speaker 1: three months, which was just stupid of me to to
- 10:48Speaker 1: marry him. But what I did, and it doesn't feel
- 10:51Speaker 1: like a marriage. It just feels like a three month
- 10:53Speaker 1: dating relationship that was like an abrupt start and an
- 10:56Speaker 1: abrupt end. So like, I'm talking to my therapist about it,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and she's like, Meg, You're fine, Like, just it seems
- 11:03Speaker 1: like it should be serious because you put the title
- 11:05Speaker 1: marriage on it, but it wasn't. But are you say
- 11:08Speaker 1: that it's over or you just kind of learned a
- 11:10Speaker 1: lesson and it's I think about it like, yeah, yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 1: like I learned a lesson. It's time to move on.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Like I think about it as a memory, and I'm
- 11:18Speaker 1: sad it didn't work out, had hopes for it. Otherwise
- 11:20Speaker 1: I wouldn't have got married. But um, it's it's fine.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I mean, it is what it feels. It literally feels
- 11:27Speaker 1: just like like a nostalgic memory some sort well what
- 11:31Speaker 1: a memory? What a memory? But you know what stuff happens, right,
- 11:39Speaker 1: it happens single again and it's fun and and I'm
- 11:43Speaker 1: like I'm having I'm actually having fun with it, Like
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm not looking to settle down and like have another baby,
- 11:49Speaker 1: get married. I'm good. Maybe even you can go out
- 11:53Speaker 1: together as single girls and try to find guys. That
- 11:56Speaker 1: happening happening. You still don't talk to Vicky, right, we
- 12:02Speaker 1: never did. I think I blocked me on our Instagram.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. She's having a hard time too well,
- 12:09Speaker 1: doing better. I think she's starting to date as well.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And she's like, I'm like, why don't you go on
- 12:14Speaker 1: like a dating app? And she's like, I'm not doing that.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I'm too old. I'm not so like old school like that.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I mean, I made a lot of guys on dating apps.
- 12:22Speaker 1: But um, I mean I just I just answered a
- 12:26Speaker 1: question about Vicky and the press. It was like, I
- 12:28Speaker 1: just like, do you have any advice for Vicky? And
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'm like no, Like, clearly, I am in no position
- 12:34Speaker 1: to give it anybody advice first of all. Second of all,
- 12:37Speaker 1: she's like dating narcissist, and so am I So like
- 12:41Speaker 1: we got that in common. Yeah, I mean I think
- 12:44Speaker 1: we all come across a narcissist one time or another.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I mean I obviously was married to one for quite
- 12:50Speaker 1: a while, but it just it's good to get away.
- 12:54Speaker 1: So I have a few questions for you from fans. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I just want to I did. And um, okay, so
- 13:03Speaker 1: would you do the Ultimate Girls Trip if you were asked?
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah you would. Yeah, I hope I get us. What
- 13:10Speaker 1: did you like doing it? I did? I mean, there
- 13:13Speaker 1: was a lot of work, and it's so weird because
- 13:15Speaker 1: I was I hadn't filmed in a year and a half,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and as much as long as I filmed for twelve years,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I felt a little rusty, Like I felt like, okay,
- 13:24Speaker 1: it felt a little weird. Yeah, I mean it was,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you know, getting back on a bike. But it was like,
- 13:28Speaker 1: you know, the chain was a little rusty, okay, okay
- 13:32Speaker 1: going and it was it was fun. It was the
- 13:36Speaker 1: actual one that I was on was a little bit
- 13:39Speaker 1: more dramatic than the first season of Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 13:44Speaker 1: First one was you know, in Turks and Kickos and
- 13:46Speaker 1: they were in bathing suits and we were like trapped
- 13:48Speaker 1: in a house. We were like Big Brother, but you're
- 13:51Speaker 1: in the camps, right, No, we were in the Berkshire's, Massachusetts. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: with all the mosquitoes. Yeah, no, thanks, I would rather
- 14:02Speaker 1: go to Turks and Kikos. Well, I'm sure that you
- 14:04Speaker 1: will be asked. I haven't heard that they have a
- 14:07Speaker 1: season three casts together yet, but I'm sure it's coming. Now.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Would you you know that Teddy Teddy's on Celebrity Big Brother. Yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 1: that's a commitment. Yeah, that's long. How long is that? Um?
- 14:20Speaker 1: It could be up to thirty days and they have
- 14:23Speaker 1: no phone, no connection outside. You would be able to
- 14:26Speaker 1: like talk to the kids or anything, right, That's got
- 14:29Speaker 1: to be really hard. So yeah, but it would be
- 14:33Speaker 1: a good I think it'd be a cool experience. And
- 14:35Speaker 1: there's like a little bit of strategy to that too.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's not like you're just partying your balls off, you know, right, right, right, Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I just I just cast it for a reality show,
- 14:44Speaker 1: a dating show. So you did if you can today
- 14:48Speaker 1: right before this. I mean, there's really not much to say.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know how they do the casting stuff, It's like
- 14:53Speaker 1: it starts early and then they like shift it and
- 14:55Speaker 1: change it. Sometimes they don't even go to production. You know,
- 14:58Speaker 1: you could cast for like ten ferent things and maybe
- 15:00Speaker 1: one of them makes it to production. You don't even
- 15:02Speaker 1: know if you're you know, gonna get it. But um,
- 15:05Speaker 1: so that's just kind of where I am at the
- 15:06Speaker 1: beginning of stages. But I do miss being in front
- 15:09Speaker 1: of the camera, which my YouTube channel is kind of
- 15:11Speaker 1: giving me that quick fix. And you know what, I'm
- 15:14Speaker 1: shameless about it at this point. I like being in
- 15:16Speaker 1: front of the camera. It's part of who I am.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I don't think it makes me a bad person. So
- 15:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna own it. Yeah, well me too, I do too.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I love it, Like I'm you know, everyday life. I'm
- 15:26Speaker 1: pretty mellow, but as soon as the camera comes out,
- 15:28Speaker 1: like I get all excited and write a little more
- 15:31Speaker 1: puff in my step. But you're on, I know, and
- 15:35Speaker 1: people are like, well, want you just do another reality show? Well,
- 15:38Speaker 1: as you know, it's not that easy. Getting casted on
- 15:42Speaker 1: reality show is like your odds are huge, it's hard.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's hard. Well, I feel like you would have a
- 15:49Speaker 1: better chance though, with who you are and your odds
- 15:51Speaker 1: are low, is what I meant to say. Yeah, but
- 15:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I think with everything that's going on
- 15:56Speaker 1: with COVID and they're not making as many of the
- 16:00Speaker 1: film it's hard to film right now, and reality is
- 16:02Speaker 1: always like a bunch of people together. But maybe we
- 16:06Speaker 1: can do a show together. Now. Do you talk to
- 16:11Speaker 1: Kelly Dodd? This is a fair question. I don't talk
- 16:16Speaker 1: to Kelly. What is she just texting me about something recently?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Let me see what she said. So you text, but
- 16:22Speaker 1: you do not talk. No, I barely try to text her.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You know, she's you know Kelly. You never know really
- 16:30Speaker 1: what you're gonna get with Kelly. I hear she talks
- 16:32Speaker 1: about me a lot on her probably not in a
- 16:35Speaker 1: bad way, really, like what I'm like, Okay, so anything
- 16:38Speaker 1: I say can and will be held against me? No kidding, Yeah, No,
- 16:42Speaker 1: it's all just just like fluff, you know, like whoa
- 16:45Speaker 1: I was in Salt Lake City. You were just in
- 16:47Speaker 1: Salt Lake City like that. Yeah, so I went, Um,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you know Shelly, my friend, Shelly backed her house. Yeah
- 16:55Speaker 1: you said her house and wants to leave us. So
- 16:56Speaker 1: she Um, I bought another house and pomped us. And
- 17:00Speaker 1: I've been looking desperately to find one. You know, the
- 17:03Speaker 1: market's crazy right now. And um, so I went out
- 17:07Speaker 1: on Saturday to go see it. And she had run
- 17:09Speaker 1: into Kelly over the weekend because Kelly bought a house there,
- 17:13Speaker 1: like two streets down from her. So yeah, um they
- 17:18Speaker 1: ran into each other. Well, obviously Shelley knew Kelly from
- 17:21Speaker 1: the show, and so Shelly texts me. She's like, hey,
- 17:24Speaker 1: Kelly's at the restaurant. I'm like, go say how tour?
- 17:26Speaker 1: So I textually like, hey, Shelly's there, gonna say hi.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And they're like neighbors. So now they're there. Yeah. Has
- 17:33Speaker 1: Kelly calmed down at all? I think Kelly's stays true
- 17:38Speaker 1: to who she is, I really do. I mean, I
- 17:40Speaker 1: think she's outspoken, She's got a podcast with Rick now,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and you know she is who she is. Changing there. Okay,
- 17:50Speaker 1: so you love to travel, so what this is another
- 17:54Speaker 1: question from your fans what is your on your travel
- 17:57Speaker 1: bucket list? Is there a place that you apps reolutely
- 18:00Speaker 1: want to go? Gosh, Um, I kind of want to
- 18:04Speaker 1: go to Paris, and I feel like that I've never
- 18:07Speaker 1: been there. I've been a lot of places, but I've
- 18:08Speaker 1: never been to Paris, so I definitely want to do that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: That's like such a boring answer, I think. But yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: that's great. I was there three years ago and it
- 18:19Speaker 1: was great. I want to go back. Yeah, but now
- 18:23Speaker 1: we're traveling, I don't know. I'm kind of scared. Did
- 18:25Speaker 1: you have you got in Europe? Did you get COVID? Yeah?
- 18:28Speaker 1: I got it before like the vaccinations came out, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: then I think I might have had it again over
- 18:34Speaker 1: the new year. What about you? I feel like everybody, Um,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I did I got it. I didn't get it until
- 18:40Speaker 1: just recently Christmas vacation. How was that? Oh? Yeah, you
- 18:44Speaker 1: told you told me that it was. It was. It
- 18:45Speaker 1: was not fun. It wasn't fun. It was like having
- 18:48Speaker 1: the bad flu, and I was. It took me two
- 18:52Speaker 1: weeks of being sick and probably three weeks before I
- 18:54Speaker 1: actually felt normal. Ship. It's so funny that we're talking
- 18:59Speaker 1: about this right now, to remember because the last time
- 19:01Speaker 1: I did a podcast with I Heart Radio, it was
- 19:04Speaker 1: intimate Knowledge and it was right when all of COVID started,
- 19:09Speaker 1: and so we were talking about like how this needs
- 19:11Speaker 1: to end and how were missing around people? Da da
- 19:14Speaker 1: da da da. And now like here we are two
- 19:17Speaker 1: years later, I'm back on a podcast with I Heart
- 19:19Speaker 1: Radio talking about the same thing. It's like groundhog Day
- 19:23Speaker 1: when we thought it would be over in two weeks.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I know, ID use like what's next, what's next? You know,
- 19:30Speaker 1: we're getting vaccinated, we're doing we need to do. Um okay,
- 19:34Speaker 1: so we're gonna take one more question and then we
- 19:37Speaker 1: will go on a little bit of a break. What
- 19:39Speaker 1: is your biggest red flag and your biggest green flag
- 19:42Speaker 1: when it comes to a partner. Oh gosh, what a
- 19:45Speaker 1: good question. Mm hmm. I mean the red flags. There's
- 19:51Speaker 1: just too many of the list, right, But um yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I would say, um okay, Well, I'm gonna start with
- 20:03Speaker 1: a green flag. I think green flag would be checking
- 20:06Speaker 1: in in the morning, like a good morning text. That's
- 20:09Speaker 1: a green flag that's like they're thinking about you, they
- 20:12Speaker 1: care about you. Like it's easy, it's simple, but it's meaningful.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Um a red flag mm hmm. Maybe like I don't know,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to think about like some kind of like
- 20:26Speaker 1: narcissistic behavior. Oh yes, okay, red red flag love bombing,
- 20:31Speaker 1: too much, too fast, too soon. Oh yes, that's the
- 20:35Speaker 1: worst because then you're like, what do you want to
- 20:37Speaker 1: get away from me? Yeah, but it's also kind of
- 20:39Speaker 1: sucks you in because you're like, this is great, this
- 20:41Speaker 1: is fun, I feel special, But you're not going to
- 20:43Speaker 1: do that again. I'm doing that again. No, not not
- 20:47Speaker 1: doing that again. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break.
- 20:49Speaker 1: That's why it's a red flag, right, We're gonna take
- 20:52Speaker 1: a quick break, and then we're gon go through some
- 20:53Speaker 1: housewive headlines. Okay, we are back with Megan King with
- 21:07Speaker 1: some housewife headlines. So the first one we want to
- 21:10Speaker 1: get to is Jenny new In will no longer be
- 21:13Speaker 1: a cast member on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It has been confirmed that Jenny will no longer be
- 21:19Speaker 1: a cast member. Um. It was a statement out on
- 21:22Speaker 1: Tuesday on Bravo has sees filming with Jenny and she
- 21:26Speaker 1: is no longer going to be a cast member. So
- 21:30Speaker 1: Erica Jane got some good news. She's officially dismissed from
- 21:32Speaker 1: her fraud and embezzlement lawsuit against tom Um. I don't
- 21:37Speaker 1: exactly know what that means. I feel like there's I mean,
- 21:39Speaker 1: this is obviously good news, but I feel like there's
- 21:41Speaker 1: probably a lot of other lawsuits that are included. I
- 21:44Speaker 1: don't know if she's done with it, so I didn't
- 21:47Speaker 1: I didn't quite understand that, and I hate to like
- 21:49Speaker 1: there's a lot to it. I hope. I hope she's
- 21:52Speaker 1: done for her sake and she can go on with
- 21:55Speaker 1: Oh could you imagine? Um, let's see what else. Lisa
- 22:03Speaker 1: vander Pond possiblized for a broken leg after she was
- 22:05Speaker 1: thrown from her horse. I saw that. That's crazy, but
- 22:09Speaker 1: somebody said that what I read was like she fell
- 22:12Speaker 1: on her back and she looked like she was a
- 22:13Speaker 1: lot of pain. That's what scares me. But you know,
- 22:16Speaker 1: the spine. Yeah, I've had a few friends from horses
- 22:21Speaker 1: and it wasn't pretty. Now and other news, Heather Debrow
- 22:26Speaker 1: is she's selling her house now. Bravo had an article
- 22:28Speaker 1: about Heather Brow explaining in the video that her incredible
- 22:33Speaker 1: house has become sort of a character on the Real
- 22:35Speaker 1: Housewife of Orange County and it's easy to understand why
- 22:38Speaker 1: the massive home has a wall dedicated to her Champs
- 22:42Speaker 1: Champs um and I don't think she's really going to
- 22:45Speaker 1: sell it. I think she goes on to say that
- 22:48Speaker 1: it's a big house, her kids are getting older, the
- 22:50Speaker 1: twins will be leaving. It's just a lot of house
- 22:53Speaker 1: for you know, poor people. So yeah, but remember when
- 22:57Speaker 1: Heather was building that house, she she told us you
- 23:00Speaker 1: would have sold it before she even got to move
- 23:02Speaker 1: into it if she got the right price. I mean,
- 23:04Speaker 1: I think the do bros Are smart business people and
- 23:06Speaker 1: that everything's for sale for a certain price, Like if
- 23:09Speaker 1: if the right offer came, I cannot see them say
- 23:12Speaker 1: no to it, can you know? I mean, I agree,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I would do the same thing. I'm actually having problems
- 23:17Speaker 1: with that right now because our house is almost doubled
- 23:20Speaker 1: in price and we can walk Yeah, we can walk
- 23:24Speaker 1: away with a lot of money. Did you just move in? Yes,
- 23:29Speaker 1: But we've had at least had this house for like,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I don't know, close to twenty years. So we running
- 23:33Speaker 1: it out for a while, moved to Koto, and then
- 23:36Speaker 1: we ultimately came back here after I lost the show.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I had like a panic sale. I'm like no, like,
- 23:43Speaker 1: oh my god, we're gonna be upside down and the
- 23:46Speaker 1: pandemic hit and all that, and I'm like no, right,
- 23:48Speaker 1: And so we went back here. We totally remodeled it
- 23:51Speaker 1: that we're moving onto the backyard to do like a
- 23:53Speaker 1: nice structure back there. But I'm like, maybe we should
- 23:56Speaker 1: just sell it. But the problem where would you go?
- 23:58Speaker 1: That's the problem? Here? Do you go? Um for that
- 24:02Speaker 1: kind of money, I would probably go live in an
- 24:05Speaker 1: apartment or whatever, rent something for a short amount of time.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm not a renter. I hate renting, but you have
- 24:11Speaker 1: to do. It's smart. And and he seems to think
- 24:13Speaker 1: that the market's going to drop in March. M hm,
- 24:16Speaker 1: So you want to sell before that? I don't know.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I just thought of moving just I don't know, sometimes
- 24:23Speaker 1: just having your sanity and we love this house. Maybe
- 24:26Speaker 1: that's the months it's worth more than a million dollars, right, right, right, right, right? Right?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Is it right? I mean I know what you mean,
- 24:34Speaker 1: And yes, it is, like there's a lot to be
- 24:36Speaker 1: said for peace of mind. Okay, So tonight the premiere
- 24:40Speaker 1: of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is coming out.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Are you going to be watching it? What are your thoughts.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I think that I should watch it. Um, it's one
- 24:49Speaker 1: of the real Housewives of New Jersey just reached out
- 24:51Speaker 1: to me, and I feel like I should be. I
- 24:55Speaker 1: don't know, I kind of feel invested in it, not
- 24:57Speaker 1: with my YouTube. Yeah, I think you need you need
- 25:00Speaker 1: to Apparently, problem is right now, BRAFO has four housewife
- 25:04Speaker 1: shows on Okay, they have Miami City and Jersey and
- 25:12Speaker 1: then Orange County, Orange County, that's right. Yeah, so, um,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I think two of them are going to drop off soon.
- 25:19Speaker 1: But I've never known them to have four housewife shows
- 25:22Speaker 1: at once. And I'm like ready to like myself because
- 25:24Speaker 1: I have to recap all of them, like a lot.
- 25:27Speaker 1: There's a lot of drama. I will tell you that.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You know, after I left the show, I had to
- 25:35Speaker 1: turn all the noise off. I had to unfollow a
- 25:38Speaker 1: lot of people, mute a lot of people, all things
- 25:41Speaker 1: housewife like because it hurt too much. Like I missed
- 25:43Speaker 1: it so much, and now you know, I'm in a
- 25:46Speaker 1: better place and and now I'm recapping it now. Sometimes
- 25:50Speaker 1: I feel myself getting sad. I'm like, well, because we're
- 25:56Speaker 1: recapping Orange County, Like I can talk about other shows
- 25:58Speaker 1: all day long. But Orange County. I'm like, oh god,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I hope it's a short season. I don't want to
- 26:02Speaker 1: talk about them anymore. And then of course it's a
- 26:04Speaker 1: it's a no win situation talking about them because people
- 26:07Speaker 1: are like, you're jealous, You're I'm like, no, I'm just
- 26:09Speaker 1: off to doing something different. Am I jealous? Maybe just
- 26:12Speaker 1: a little bit? Maybe just a little bit. What's your favorite?
- 26:16Speaker 1: What's your favorite Housewife show that's arean right now? Well,
- 26:18Speaker 1: out of the three, I would say Miami and then
- 26:23Speaker 1: in Salt Lake. I love how you watched Miami. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 1: it is so good. We we I talked with Alexia
- 26:33Speaker 1: the other day on the pod and oh I saw
- 26:35Speaker 1: that so sweet, so open. Just I love her. I
- 26:39Speaker 1: love them all. Yeah, I do too. And I like
- 26:42Speaker 1: that they have a gay one because like, yes, the
- 26:45Speaker 1: housewives have never done that and that's something new to explore. Yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I tried, Remember, I tried for a little while to
- 26:50Speaker 1: get my friend Fernandon, and I just didn't work out. Okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I don't get that working in Orange County very well. Anyway. Yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 1: let's see, here's another thing that can your feelings. Andy
- 27:03Speaker 1: Carn reveals which former Real Housewife star he'd bring back.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So do you know who it is? No, but let
- 27:09Speaker 1: me guess. I'm gonna guess. Fasciny. Well, when he was
- 27:17Speaker 1: asked whom he'd ring back, he didn't hesitate to name
- 27:20Speaker 1: real Housewives of Atlanta, Phyedra Parks. I love Phyedra and
- 27:24Speaker 1: I met Phyedro. Phyedro was on the Girl's Trip with me,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and she is amazing. I like her. Oh yeah, I
- 27:31Speaker 1: love her. What do you like about her so much? Like?
- 27:33Speaker 1: What makes her so great? Oh? My god? Just her energy,
- 27:36Speaker 1: She's sweet, she's kind, her faith, that just everything about her.
- 27:42Speaker 1: She doesn't really get deeply involved with the drama, but
- 27:46Speaker 1: she'll look at you like she would look at Brandy,
- 27:48Speaker 1: because Brandy would act up in the Girl's Trip and
- 27:50Speaker 1: she'd be like, no, no, and that's what she had
- 27:53Speaker 1: to do. That is all stop yeah, yeah, okay, stop. Power.
- 28:00Speaker 1: She has a power something about it. Um let's see,
- 28:04Speaker 1: did he say anybody else? I think he did mention
- 28:07Speaker 1: Bethany And he says, out of all the housewife housewives
- 28:12Speaker 1: he misses, the number one is your friend Vicky Comprison.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Do you believe that? Do you think he just has
- 28:19Speaker 1: to say it? I never know what to believe, Megan.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I mean, it's all entertainment, right, Yeah, I asked. I
- 28:29Speaker 1: asked Andy one time who the craziest housewife was who
- 28:34Speaker 1: he's ever met, and he said it was somebody from
- 28:37Speaker 1: New York. UM help me out, Ramona. No, no, no,
- 28:45Speaker 1: was it Sonya or Leah Sonya? Okay, Sonja? Yeah, that
- 28:52Speaker 1: she is. If you ever seen in an interview, it's hilarious.
- 28:55Speaker 1: We're gonna take a small break. I'm gonna come back
- 28:57Speaker 1: and we're gonna go over Miami. We're gonna recap Miami. Okay, Megan,
- 29:11Speaker 1: we are going to do uh something that. Okay, Megan,
- 29:15Speaker 1: let's talk Miami. Tell me just from the top, what
- 29:20Speaker 1: are your thoughts about Miami. I love Miami because I
- 29:24Speaker 1: think that brings an energy to the Housewives franchise that
- 29:27Speaker 1: we have not experienced before them when we talk about
- 29:32Speaker 1: sexuality and fluidity with sexuality, whether it's just within the
- 29:37Speaker 1: LGBT community in general, it's just it's really cool to
- 29:40Speaker 1: explore that at that level of UM income. I think
- 29:44Speaker 1: and and like cool kid crowd, which is what Miami,
- 29:48Speaker 1: and so I love that. UM. I am blown away
- 29:53Speaker 1: by how open they are to just like fight fight, fight, fight, fight,
- 29:57Speaker 1: but then they get over it. It's like they just
- 30:00Speaker 1: put it out there and it's done. It's like it's
- 30:02Speaker 1: very it's a very Latin vibe. I feel like they're
- 30:05Speaker 1: a really good cast um, much like Beverly Hills, where
- 30:09Speaker 1: they will fight, but then I think they're truly friends
- 30:12Speaker 1: and they just get over it. You know. It was
- 30:16Speaker 1: not like that in Orange County, right, it was more
- 30:18Speaker 1: like Survivor. M okay, So Kiki is um. I think
- 30:24Speaker 1: she's just a friend, but we see, yeah, she's gorgeous,
- 30:28Speaker 1: and she's talking about vacation constipation. I didn't even know
- 30:32Speaker 1: if there was in name for it. And she's like,
- 30:35Speaker 1: I have to poop. I can't poop. Like the both
- 30:38Speaker 1: episodes at the Hampton's, she's talking about pooping, not not
- 30:43Speaker 1: the handsOn Wait oh yeah, they went the hands Hamptons.
- 30:49Speaker 1: That was fun again, Like that's another thing. She's not
- 30:52Speaker 1: trying to be funny about her or whatever. She's just
- 30:54Speaker 1: like she's just talking about it as if her life.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Like if we were talking about that on Orange Counter,
- 31:00Speaker 1: it would be funny, like we would make it a
- 31:01Speaker 1: funny joke. But she's just like, this is a serious problem.
- 31:04Speaker 1: This is I have vacacient constellation, which made it funny. Yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: like I gotta use that because that's a true thing.
- 31:12Speaker 1: That really totally. So, Nicole's upset at Marisol. She's having
- 31:17Speaker 1: a hard time moving on. I kind of feel like
- 31:20Speaker 1: Marisol is a she's a troublemaker, she's a She's like, yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I know that job all too well. Yeah I know.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I'm like, so when she went to that table and said,
- 31:34Speaker 1: tell me who you trust the least at this table,
- 31:36Speaker 1: I was like, what are you? What kind of shady
- 31:39Speaker 1: game is that? Right? And then I love Nicole, love her.
- 31:45Speaker 1: She's a new she's new. Most of them were on,
- 31:48Speaker 1: you know, five years ago. But Nicole isn't um. She's smart,
- 31:52Speaker 1: she's beautiful, she's a doctor. I love her relationship with
- 31:56Speaker 1: her fiance, everything, like everything about her. Love So now
- 32:01Speaker 1: that Marisel is trying to break her down and trying
- 32:03Speaker 1: to make everybody around her, you know, in the group
- 32:05Speaker 1: think that she's shady, she's too fast, she's and I'm like,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I even had to talk with um Alexei. I'm like,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I I I don't like that. I don't like that
- 32:14Speaker 1: they're coming for my girl. I really don't. Well, she's
- 32:18Speaker 1: standing up for herself and she's holding her own that's
- 32:20Speaker 1: for damn sure. Nicole is not about to let anybody
- 32:22Speaker 1: walk all over her. Yeah, she's very calm like me.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I would just be I wouldn't know what to do.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I'd be yelling and screaming and calling, you know, calling me.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'm learning from her, just like sit back and go
- 32:35Speaker 1: hmm okay, Well I think that likes her like right now,
- 32:41Speaker 1: like today. Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I'm
- 32:43Speaker 1: hoping to have her on. But she's um, she's really
- 32:46Speaker 1: going for her And I'm like Marisol. I don't know
- 32:49Speaker 1: if Marisel is doing this because she's not a housewife.
- 32:53Speaker 1: She's just a friend. You know, time mary Sel is
- 32:56Speaker 1: not a Mariel is a housewife. I thought, No, I
- 32:58Speaker 1: think she's a friend. Oh, I think she's a friend.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So you know, when somebody has that role and they
- 33:07Speaker 1: want to be househif they got to create more drama.
- 33:12Speaker 1: But I don't know. Um, I love that Julia brings
- 33:15Speaker 1: her eggs from her farm. What was that all about? Well,
- 33:19Speaker 1: I'll let me tell you so. Um my son Ryan
- 33:22Speaker 1: is dating a girl that has basically a ranch here
- 33:26Speaker 1: in Orange County and she has her chickens, and you know,
- 33:30Speaker 1: she brings them as gifts, like with if somebody's birthday,
- 33:32Speaker 1: she brings them eggs. So I get behind this, like
- 33:37Speaker 1: the farmer, like that's I don't know, I get that.
- 33:40Speaker 1: My next word. My neighbor two doors down has chickens
- 33:43Speaker 1: in the backyard and they bring us eggs and we
- 33:44Speaker 1: love it. It's wonderful. But like to take an egg
- 33:47Speaker 1: carton and put it in your samell bag and then
- 33:50Speaker 1: pack it inside the suitcase and then take it like
- 33:53Speaker 1: that's that's commitment eggs. She must really love her eggs.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, there's a lot of a lot of
- 34:04Speaker 1: She's quirky. And I love her relationship with um Marianna. No, No,
- 34:10Speaker 1: like that. Her wife, her wife, Martina Martina. Her Martina
- 34:16Speaker 1: Martina and Julia are super together. I love them together.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But I don't like is her weird friendship with Adriana.
- 34:24Speaker 1: She gave her like she got down on her knee
- 34:26Speaker 1: and gave it Like I'm like, it's just for TV,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Like what do you guys, what are you doing? I
- 34:33Speaker 1: think Julia is naive and I think she just is
- 34:37Speaker 1: being like sweet and genuine, but like, I don't think
- 34:41Speaker 1: that Adriana is naive at all, and I think I
- 34:45Speaker 1: think she has what she's doing. And also like I don't,
- 34:50Speaker 1: I don't know, Like it makes me wonder if they
- 34:55Speaker 1: have an open marriage Julia, Julia and Martina, but they don't.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I don't think so. Yeah, And I saw Marchina's face when, um,
- 35:04Speaker 1: when Julia came out with a low cut shirt. I
- 35:07Speaker 1: mean it was like almost like Eddie, like she's like,
- 35:10Speaker 1: that's you're showing way too much cleavage. Like somebody that
- 35:13Speaker 1: thinks like that is not going to be like, oh yeah,
- 35:15Speaker 1: let's you know, you can have an open marriage. So
- 35:17Speaker 1: they have to have a really strong relationship, like full
- 35:20Speaker 1: of built on so much trust for her to then
- 35:23Speaker 1: go on the house this housewife show with all of
- 35:25Speaker 1: these women who are like not super happy in their marriages,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and they're like, maybe I'll be a lesbian today. I
- 35:33Speaker 1: always say we're one drink away from right. Honestly, I'm
- 35:38Speaker 1: inspired by it. I'm like, wait, I'm single, because there's
- 35:40Speaker 1: something out there I should be trying. She looks really happy.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Oh my god. So they go off and the lady
- 35:49Speaker 1: is going to go work out and I find it
- 35:51Speaker 1: pretty funny that Marisol was like, I don't work out.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I'd rather starve myself. And I'm like, oh my god,
- 36:00Speaker 1: I cannot believe you're putting that message out there, like
- 36:03Speaker 1: don't do that, especially this day and age, Like that's
- 36:05Speaker 1: not good because especially getting older, I think her and
- 36:08Speaker 1: I are the same, the same age. No, you don't
- 36:11Speaker 1: eat and all you are your skinny fat you just
- 36:12Speaker 1: get funny. I'm not saying she's skinny fat, so before
- 36:15Speaker 1: people go off on that, but that's what happens. It's like,
- 36:18Speaker 1: it's like the worst thing you can do at that
- 36:20Speaker 1: age lifting weights, and you know eating is your friend
- 36:24Speaker 1: at that age. And that's exactly what Kiki said. She
- 36:27Speaker 1: was like, well, I may be skinny, but I can
- 36:29Speaker 1: I can still not be toned. She said that. And
- 36:32Speaker 1: I liked how Bravo put that edited that very closely
- 36:36Speaker 1: together because that was not lost on me. Yeah. Now,
- 36:38Speaker 1: Gertie's throwing a party a charity event. How do you
- 36:43Speaker 1: feel about charity You've had one? How do you feel
- 36:44Speaker 1: about charity events on reality TV? I mean it's just
- 36:49Speaker 1: another event, right, Well, they always get ruined. I feel like,
- 36:52Speaker 1: didn't you know when there's always screaming and yelling. I
- 36:54Speaker 1: mean it's a great backdrop, but they go great and
- 36:59Speaker 1: I mean instead of good way to bring attention to
- 37:01Speaker 1: your charity too. Yeah, it is, it is, um okay, Um.
- 37:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't think there was a whole
- 37:08Speaker 1: lot of One thing I did learn in this episode
- 37:11Speaker 1: from Julia. If you do a shot of olive oil
- 37:14Speaker 1: before you drink, you don't get drunk, but I feel
- 37:16Speaker 1: like you get I feel like you get the poops. Right,
- 37:19Speaker 1: hold on, that's not a that can't be a thing.
- 37:22Speaker 1: That doesn't make sense. Well, she's also doing shots with
- 37:25Speaker 1: vodka and chasing it down with pickles, so she's like,
- 37:30Speaker 1: you want to try it? Absolutely, I want to try
- 37:34Speaker 1: the olive oil. I wanted you drink a shot of
- 37:36Speaker 1: olive oil. Okay, I'll do it with you because okay,
- 37:40Speaker 1: we'd have to do it at home because I feel
- 37:41Speaker 1: like you'd be running to would be running into the
- 37:43Speaker 1: bathroom I would with olive I don't know. I've never
- 37:46Speaker 1: taken a shot of olive oil. I don't really nor
- 37:48Speaker 1: do I really want to. But um, yeah, so that
- 37:53Speaker 1: was interesting. Larsa has her own jewelry line and her
- 37:56Speaker 1: daughter is beautiful. They you know, they meet at the
- 38:00Speaker 1: store and that's her daughter. Looks like Scottie Pippen. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: they're all. Larisa seems just kind of like a uh
- 38:13Speaker 1: a Debbie Downer to me. Marsa does uh huh you
- 38:18Speaker 1: think so? She's just like so she's even, but she's
- 38:23Speaker 1: like even to the point of being just like she
- 38:25Speaker 1: can because I think she spent a lot of time
- 38:30Speaker 1: with Kardashians. I mean, she looks like one, and she
- 38:32Speaker 1: kind of talks very monotone and like, let's like like
- 38:37Speaker 1: too many selfies and then go to bed kind of thing.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I like her though, I'm telling you, I like them all.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Adrian is getting on my nerves and Marisol starting Adrian is.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I don't think she's a real housewife though. I think
- 38:50Speaker 1: she's a friend. She's a friend. Yeah, her and Marisol
- 38:53Speaker 1: are both friends. She's not even. I think she's a
- 38:58Speaker 1: friend of a friend, like a friend. I don't know
- 39:00Speaker 1: that we never had that many people. I know, well
- 39:03Speaker 1: did move on to Salt Lake City? Oh gosh, what
- 39:07Speaker 1: are your thoughts? You just started You just kind of
- 39:10Speaker 1: bene watched a few episodes, so I know how that goes.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Think it's very Salt Lake City last weekend. I was
- 39:16Speaker 1: just texting with Meredith Mars yesterday because I think I
- 39:19Speaker 1: might go back to Yeah, I'm gonna go. I think
- 39:21Speaker 1: I might go to Park City this weekend and meet
- 39:23Speaker 1: up with her. Um, because she lives there, right, And
- 39:27Speaker 1: I was there for so long because I dated a
- 39:29Speaker 1: guy there and so I made my own friends ski season.
- 39:33Speaker 1: So how how did that happen? You just reached out
- 39:35Speaker 1: or she reached out? Um? I think it was through Bronwyn. Yeah,
- 39:40Speaker 1: it was. Bron Wyn did a group text with Meredith
- 39:44Speaker 1: on it, so I guess she knows her. Do you
- 39:46Speaker 1: talk to Bronwin a lot? No? But I I'm working
- 39:49Speaker 1: with this guy who works with her. But sometimes I
- 39:53Speaker 1: like Bronwyn. I like her a lot. I was supposed
- 39:55Speaker 1: to go meet her new girlfriend last week and I
- 39:58Speaker 1: got stuck doing something so I couldn't meet her. But
- 40:01Speaker 1: I like brown Ones too. I never filmed with her though,
- 40:05Speaker 1: I was never on the show with her. I thought
- 40:07Speaker 1: you did once. No, I think it might have been
- 40:10Speaker 1: for a part. It was. It was for the party.
- 40:12Speaker 1: It was for the train party, right, That's what I got. Yeah, Yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: that was it. To witness the kiss. Yeah, yeah, I
- 40:21Speaker 1: didn't know you guys are kissing? Yeah, Ethan do I
- 40:23Speaker 1: I didn't know. So I think they did something very smart.
- 40:28Speaker 1: They separated the girls into different groups and had them
- 40:31Speaker 1: go off. So you have um whitneyther in Zion right
- 40:36Speaker 1: there in Zion, which I've never gotten, and they separated them.
- 40:41Speaker 1: So they had Jen and Whitney on can M's a
- 40:45Speaker 1: TV S with no helmet, which totally shocks me after
- 40:48Speaker 1: the accident that we had in one, Like, what the heck?
- 40:54Speaker 1: At least go ahead? And they said, and they said, oh,
- 40:58Speaker 1: we might flip. Do you remember that we might flip?
- 41:01Speaker 1: I was like, this is this is a strong allusion
- 41:04Speaker 1: to what we went through went through. Yeah, no helmet.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I was like, I'm surprised at the safety because we
- 41:09Speaker 1: had safety there and all that. I was really shy.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Lisa and Heather went horseback riding. Um. They talked about
- 41:15Speaker 1: how they were at odds with how Lisa was at
- 41:18Speaker 1: odds with everyone, and um, let's seeing where did the
- 41:23Speaker 1: other to go? Jenny, Mary and Meredith went to the spa.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I thought it was funny that m Mary comes fully
- 41:31Speaker 1: dressed glasses on. She's married, to odd Burn, I think
- 41:35Speaker 1: she wants to be fired from the show. She's not participating.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I said the same thing after. Yes, I'm like, she's
- 41:42Speaker 1: she's checked out. Every chance she has, she just totally
- 41:47Speaker 1: like checks out or just they're being in the middle
- 41:48Speaker 1: of filming and they just walk away. So, I mean,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I think that I thought something happened. That's why she
- 41:53Speaker 1: didn't go to the reunion this this year. But she
- 41:56Speaker 1: go to the reunion. No, she didn't chuck the union,
- 41:58Speaker 1: So she's out. She's been fired from what she had. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 1: allegedly she's been fired. She did not show up to
- 42:04Speaker 1: the reunion. Um Meredith was on Watch What Happens Live
- 42:08Speaker 1: and confirmed that she had been fired. So who knows.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Who knows? But I thought it was funny when they
- 42:14Speaker 1: asked her. They're just trying to make small talk with her.
- 42:16Speaker 1: She won't even open up show him and talk. It's like, well,
- 42:20Speaker 1: how is your husband? You know, she talked to your husband.
- 42:23Speaker 1: How's your husband? And and she's like, I'm not talking
- 42:26Speaker 1: to you about my husband. Like there's a nicer way
- 42:29Speaker 1: to say that. Even I don't feel that there's a
- 42:31Speaker 1: nicer way to put that. It's like, just say like,
- 42:34Speaker 1: I don't, Oh, he's fine, he's good. Everybody, Oh he's
- 42:37Speaker 1: doing he's doing great, I mean, or or even if
- 42:41Speaker 1: you wanted to tell him open up that much. You know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: I don't really feel like discussing that right now. But um,
- 42:45Speaker 1: we're good. You can I get us a drink? Like
- 42:48Speaker 1: she is, just like, I'm like, who is this girl?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Like somebody asked, Mary, do you like Jenny? And she
- 42:54Speaker 1: goes no. It's like she gives she gives zero fs,
- 43:01Speaker 1: but it kind of makes her like her. Her wild
- 43:03Speaker 1: eyes and her comments. She's kind of good on the show,
- 43:07Speaker 1: but she won't participate, so she's not gonna be back.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I don't think she has a lot going on between
- 43:13Speaker 1: between those eyeballs. Um, she's like, I mean, she doesn't
- 43:19Speaker 1: very quick on the uptake. Um, yeah, grand daddy, that's she.
- 43:27Speaker 1: But like, I think they want her to fit in
- 43:29Speaker 1: and she's funny, like she's just because she doesn't care.
- 43:31Speaker 1: She makes her like a little bit funny and I
- 43:34Speaker 1: think she could easily fit in and she tried to. Yeah,
- 43:37Speaker 1: I think that the episode was It was good. I
- 43:40Speaker 1: think every one of the Salt Lake City episodes are good.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But I think that what everybody's talking about is the
- 43:46Speaker 1: hot Mike moment? Where Okay, so that was bad and
- 43:52Speaker 1: so you, knowing how production works, do you think she
- 43:55Speaker 1: was on the phone with somebody or do you think
- 43:58Speaker 1: she was talking to a producer? I think she was
- 44:01Speaker 1: talking to herself or a producer. You think she was talking?
- 44:06Speaker 1: I think she knew exactly what she was doing. And
- 44:09Speaker 1: she she has loose lipped that that what's her name,
- 44:13Speaker 1: um Lisa? That Lisa is a loose lift one. She
- 44:18Speaker 1: just kind of and she's pretty good with her words too,
- 44:20Speaker 1: she can spue them pretty quick. And and so I
- 44:23Speaker 1: think she knew exactly what she was doing with that.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Do you think? So? What do you think? Well? It
- 44:31Speaker 1: was weird because I didn't quite understand what set her
- 44:33Speaker 1: off so bad that she went running and just it
- 44:36Speaker 1: didn't didn't warrant that. I think she was because Viz
- 44:39Speaker 1: Meredith was sticking up for Mary or whatever, but her
- 44:43Speaker 1: to go off. She went into a room I don't
- 44:46Speaker 1: even know what that room was, was in a bathroom,
- 44:48Speaker 1: was her bedroom? Bathroom was in a production room, shut
- 44:51Speaker 1: the door and just goes off, goes. I mean the
- 44:55Speaker 1: thing she said, we're so bad, and I heard from
- 44:58Speaker 1: Andy that he announced that when they went to the reunion,
- 45:02Speaker 1: nobody knew that scene was in it until like the
- 45:04Speaker 1: day before the reunion. Oh ship, No, I think, Okay,
- 45:09Speaker 1: So this is my take on it. I think that
- 45:11Speaker 1: I think that Lisa had had a lot of like bent,
- 45:14Speaker 1: pent up anger building against Meredith, Um Meredith, and and
- 45:20Speaker 1: she just because Lisa is just like so full of emotion.
- 45:23Speaker 1: She just like can't contain her emotion. It's going to
- 45:26Speaker 1: explode out of her. And Meredith is not exactly a
- 45:29Speaker 1: warm person. And so here we have like these two
- 45:33Speaker 1: opposites with how they handled their emotions. And I think
- 45:36Speaker 1: Lisa was just at the end of a rope, and
- 45:38Speaker 1: she really did feel like she wasn't being hurt or
- 45:40Speaker 1: listened to, and like that was just how she reacted,
- 45:43Speaker 1: Like just because you're friends with somebody doesn't mean that
- 45:46Speaker 1: you have to agree with all of their choices that
- 45:48Speaker 1: they make in life. And I think that was just
- 45:50Speaker 1: a loose lip moment where she just let it go.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Have you heard anything in the press from about this
- 45:55Speaker 1: situation yet? I haven't read anything yet, but I'm wondering
- 45:58Speaker 1: if Lisa regrets that, if Lisa doesn't care she regrets it.
- 46:04Speaker 1: She does. She just said it was like a moment
- 46:06Speaker 1: of rage or something, or like, yeah, she regrets it,
- 46:09Speaker 1: but like Meredith not having any part of it. But
- 46:12Speaker 1: Lisa that might toss it was like what a way
- 46:15Speaker 1: to in an episode. She throws her mike and it's like,
- 46:18Speaker 1: here's your mike. Why does she take off her whole shirt?
- 46:20Speaker 1: I guess she was taking off her mike. She probably
- 46:23Speaker 1: was in there. She probably realized after she was going
- 46:26Speaker 1: off to who knows. I I think we'll find out
- 46:28Speaker 1: the reunion. When she's just going off about Meredith calling
- 46:31Speaker 1: her all those horrible names. I think she realized, oh,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I might, And I think she just kind of like
- 46:36Speaker 1: took her shirt off or ripped off the mic. You
- 46:38Speaker 1: know how hard they are to get off their stock,
- 46:40Speaker 1: their pin, they're all that, and just threw it out
- 46:43Speaker 1: the door. Which, oh, you don't think she realized she
- 46:46Speaker 1: was even mike. I don't think so. I think that
- 46:48Speaker 1: she thought she was in a safe zone. I think
- 46:51Speaker 1: she thought she was away from the cameras. Everybody else
- 46:53Speaker 1: was outside she came in. She probably went in there
- 46:55Speaker 1: and just told if it's a production, you know, producer, whatever,
- 46:59Speaker 1: I'm sick of her. I don't want to do this anymore.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I mean we've all done that, remember, Yeah, but she's like,
- 47:04Speaker 1: this is her second season. She knows how it works now. Yeah,
- 47:08Speaker 1: but you know what things are different now. They're showing
- 47:10Speaker 1: really behind the scenes the fourth wall. You remember when
- 47:15Speaker 1: Shannon did that at your house, Like she was like
- 47:17Speaker 1: freaking out. We had a party or something or sitting
- 47:19Speaker 1: around at your house and she went and yelled and
- 47:22Speaker 1: at the producer and I got up. I'm like, well, Shannon,
- 47:25Speaker 1: don't be an asshole. You're being an asshole. And they
- 47:27Speaker 1: showed it, like so yeah, she tried to go to
- 47:30Speaker 1: the to the like production village in the garage or something. Yeah,
- 47:35Speaker 1: and they actually ended up showing that. Now on these
- 47:38Speaker 1: Housewive shows, you have to be extra careful because they
- 47:41Speaker 1: are breaking the fourth wall all the time, like even
- 47:45Speaker 1: in their interviews, like they say and it's like, oh no,
- 47:48Speaker 1: you're like, oh lovely, well, Megan, it has been amazing. Avenue,
- 47:53Speaker 1: thank you so much. I miss you. When are you
- 47:54Speaker 1: gonna come back to Orange County? So something soon soon?
- 47:58Speaker 1: Let's hang out. I miss you too. Have been so
- 48:00Speaker 1: much fun. I'm glad we have to talked about all this,
- 48:02Speaker 1: so I could have gone on and on. Yeah, if
- 48:04Speaker 1: you have as you're watching them. If you need anybody
- 48:07Speaker 1: talk to, you can always call me. I will, don't
- 48:10Speaker 1: you worry, I will And if I be on again,
- 48:13Speaker 1: this has been great. Yes, love having you. Love you
- 48:16Speaker 1: Watch my YouTube channel everybody. Yes, listen to Megan's YouTube
- 48:21Speaker 1: where she breaks down old housewives and you kind of
- 48:24Speaker 1: show the clip and then you're actually talking as your show.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Is there a name for you? And they're sure? Reaction
- 48:30Speaker 1: videos to Housewives episodes? I was on and they're short,
- 48:34Speaker 1: you know, they're less than ten minutes? And how fun
- 48:36Speaker 1: do you post every week? Every Friday? They'll come out? Okay?
- 48:39Speaker 1: Are you having fun doing it? Yeah? Yeah, it's been
- 48:42Speaker 1: fun tripped down memory lane. Okay, if you ever want
- 48:45Speaker 1: me to come on and we can, yes, I do. Okay, Well,
- 48:49Speaker 1: thank you Megan so much, um, and thank you guys
