ICE Agent Shoots Dead Suspect in Houston | San Antonio News
Early Tuesday morning in Houston, an ICE agent fired his weapon during a targeted operation, killing Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico. ICE claims Araujo attempted to ram their vehicle and ignored commands, prompting the agent to act in self-defense. The shooting occurred around 6:51 AM; Araujo was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital but died despite CPR. The FBI and DHS OIG are now investigating the incident separately.
