• 0:25
Speaker 3: I took my mom out for brunch. And my mom
• 0:28
Speaker 3: is ninety one years old. She is amazing, She is brilliant,
• 0:32
Speaker 3: and it's just fun to hang out with me and
• 0:34
Speaker 3: my mom. We had some one on one time and
• 0:37
Speaker 3: a really delightful time. I hope everyone listening, I hoped
• 0:40
Speaker 3: all the moms who are listening. I hope your kids,
• 0:43
Speaker 3: I hope your your family embraced you, said thank you
• 0:46
Speaker 3: to you and and said how much we appreciate everything
• 0:49
Speaker 3: moms do. And to everyone else, I hope you did
• 0:52
Speaker 3: that to your mom, to your wife. If you didn't
• 0:55
Speaker 3: do it now, even if it's Mother's.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: Day and you're in the doghouse.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: By the way, if you're doing it this late, you're
• 1:01
Speaker 1: in the doghouse, so you better get a better gift.
• 1:03
Speaker 3: But you know what, moms, there's a reason moms are
• 1:08
Speaker 3: the only things that rank above apple pie that I'm
• 1:11
Speaker 3: into that it's a beautiful thing.
• 1:13
Speaker 2: We've got one big story to talk about today.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: It deals with socialism, communism, Marxism, and AOC. She now
• 1:20
Speaker 1: wants to ban wealthy people in this country and says
• 1:23
Speaker 1: you didn't really earn it.
• 1:24
Speaker 2: You can't make it up.
• 1:25
Speaker 1: This is now the Democratic Party in a new shocking
• 1:28
Speaker 1: tell all. Want I also talk to you about your
• 1:31
Speaker 1: cell phone provider? And how would you like to know
• 1:33
Speaker 1: that every time you make a call, every time you
• 1:35
Speaker 1: send a text, you're actually standing up for the values
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: you believe in.
• 1:38
Speaker 2: Well, that is exactly what.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile does while offering you unbelievable satisfaction and quality
• 1:44
Speaker 1: no matter where you're going around the country. Every day,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: Americans make choices that shape our country's future, right down
• 1:52
Speaker 1: to which cell phone provider we support. Here's what most
• 1:55
Speaker 1: people don't actually realize. Patriot Mobile isn't just a wireless provider.
• 2:00
Speaker 1: They're an activist organization funded by selling top tier cell service.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: They've been on the front lines defending our freedoms long
• 2:08
Speaker 1: before it was cool, standing up and the gap when
• 2:12
Speaker 1: others wouldn't. The best part is they deliver prioritized premium
• 2:17
Speaker 1: service on all three major US networks, giving you the
• 2:20
Speaker 1: same or even better coverage backed by one hundred percent
• 2:24
Speaker 1: US based customer support. You get unlimited data, mobile hotspots,
• 2:29
Speaker 1: international roaming, and so much more. But when you switch
• 2:32
Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile, that's what I love the most. You'll
• 2:35
Speaker 1: help grow a movement that fuels the Christian conservative cause.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: Every bill you pay helps advance the values of faith, family,
• 2:44
Speaker 1: and freedom. And switching is easier than ever. You can
• 2:47
Speaker 1: literally activate in minutes, keep your number, keep your phone,
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: or upgrade.
• 2:52
Speaker 2: So take a stand today.
• 2:54
Speaker 1: Go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's paid Mobile
• 3:00
Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson, or call them nine to seven
• 3:04
Speaker 1: to two Patriot. It's nine seven to two Patriot and
• 3:07
Speaker 1: use the promo code ferguson for a free month of
• 3:11
Speaker 1: service Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to
• 3:15
Speaker 1: two Patriot to make the switch today. All right, Senator,
• 3:19
Speaker 1: so let's start with AOC, and this is something you
• 3:23
Speaker 1: and I have been talking about for a really long time.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: In this show, there is a war on success in
• 3:28
Speaker 1: this country and it is being led by the Democratic Party.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: They don't want you to own your own stuff. They
• 3:33
Speaker 1: don't want you own your own business. They don't want
• 3:35
Speaker 1: you to succeed. They don't want you to keep more
• 3:36
Speaker 1: of your own money. They believe that you are a
• 3:38
Speaker 1: worker bee for their socialist, communist Marxist ideals.
• 3:42
Speaker 2: And AOC went all the way.
• 3:43
Speaker 1: To the University of Chicago instud of Politics to now
• 3:46
Speaker 1: make her case yet.
• 3:47
Speaker 3: Again, Well, communism is a dangerous ideology. It is one
• 3:51
Speaker 3: based on deception, and it's one based on ignorance. And
• 3:56
Speaker 3: I'm very hard pressed to find anyone who combines deception
• 3:59
Speaker 3: and ig ignorance in more of a complete package than AOC.
• 4:04
Speaker 3: She was at she was with David Axelrod at the
• 4:06
Speaker 3: Institute of Politics in Chicago, and one of the things
• 4:10
Speaker 3: she started off by saying is her understanding of the
• 4:12
Speaker 3: American Revolution, and give a listen to what apparently, according
• 4:16
Speaker 3: to AOC, the American Revolution was all about.
• 4:20
Speaker 4: The American Revolution was against the billionaires of their time,
• 4:27
Speaker 4: and we were declaring independence from such an extreme marriage
• 4:33
Speaker 4: of wealth and power in the state.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: I mean, I clearly need a rEFInd in high school
• 4:39
Speaker 1: and college center, because that's not what I was told
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: at all.
• 4:42
Speaker 2: By the way, I didn't know there was a whole lot.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: Of millionaires back in the revolution days, but apparently.
• 4:46
Speaker 3: There were yet. Look, if you wrote that answer on
• 4:50
Speaker 3: your ninth grade history exam, you would get an F
• 4:54
Speaker 3: because it is not only a little bit wrong, It
• 4:57
Speaker 3: is not only kind of slightly wrong. It is is
• 5:00
Speaker 3: entirely one hate, one hundred and eighty degrees opposite. What
• 5:04
Speaker 3: was the American Revolution fought against. It was fought against
• 5:08
Speaker 3: arbitrary government power. It was fought against King George. It
• 5:12
Speaker 3: was fought against government tyrants that tax you without representation.
• 5:16
Speaker 3: It was fought against the aocs of the world. The
• 5:20
Speaker 3: irony is literally, she is an advocate of more and
• 5:24
Speaker 3: more government power. She wants to be able to tax
• 5:27
Speaker 3: the hell out of you, she wants to be able
• 5:29
Speaker 3: to regulate the hell out of you, and she wants
• 5:31
Speaker 3: to ensure that you have no voice, you don't get
• 5:33
Speaker 3: to say anything. She is in charge. That's what it
• 5:36
Speaker 3: was fought against. But here's why her retelling is so
• 5:42
Speaker 3: both ignorant and dangerous, which is, do you know who
• 5:46
Speaker 3: funded the American Revolution? Who is that that that would
• 5:51
Speaker 3: be effectively the billionaires of that time. There's a guy
• 5:53
Speaker 3: named Robert Morris. Robert Morris was the wealthiest man in America.
• 5:57
Speaker 3: Who's the Philadelphia financier. And he put virtually all of
• 6:02
Speaker 3: his wealth into the American Revolution. He ended up he
• 6:04
Speaker 3: died nearly bankrupt, but wow, he funded He funded the
• 6:10
Speaker 3: American Revolution. You have other people, You have other people
• 6:14
Speaker 3: like George Washington. George Washington was one of the richest
• 6:17
Speaker 3: men alive. If you look at George Washington's wealth by
• 6:20
Speaker 3: the time he died, if you adjusted it for inflation,
• 6:24
Speaker 3: he had the equivalent in today's dollars of about six
• 6:27
Speaker 3: hundred million dollars. That's how wealthy George Washington was. Thomas
• 6:31
Speaker 3: Jefferson likewise, was incredibly wealthy, a landhnder in Virginia. It
• 6:36
Speaker 3: was we didn't have billionaires at the time. No one
• 6:39
Speaker 3: had accumulated a billion dollars. But the richest people in
• 6:43
Speaker 3: America are the people who funded and supported the revolution
• 6:48
Speaker 3: against government power. And listen, like a little Marxist that
• 6:52
Speaker 3: she is, she takes that story and turns it on
• 6:55
Speaker 3: its head and says the revolution was against the American
• 6:59
Speaker 3: Free enter Prize that actually funded the revolution, and what
• 7:02
Speaker 3: they were fighting for was giving government more power. She
• 7:07
Speaker 3: is the King George in this story and those sorts
• 7:11
Speaker 3: of lies. That is right at the heart. Look, there's
• 7:14
Speaker 3: a reason the reason communists go and try to undermine
• 7:18
Speaker 3: the American Revolution. It's the same reason, by the way
• 7:20
Speaker 3: that say anti Semites go and try to undermine what
• 7:25
Speaker 3: happened in World War two and in particular cast doubt
• 7:27
Speaker 3: on the Holocaust, because you go to foundational premises and
• 7:33
Speaker 3: you turn them into bizarro land, you turn them upside down,
• 7:36
Speaker 3: and you end up with, unfortunately, some really confused young
• 7:42
Speaker 3: people who haven't learned history. And then she also had
• 7:44
Speaker 3: this to say, let's just talk about billionaires in general. Look,
• 7:48
Speaker 3: part of the communist argument is nobody deserves to create
• 7:54
Speaker 3: any wealth. Government should be in charge of your wealth
• 7:57
Speaker 3: because you don't do anything to get creasy.
• 8:00
Speaker 2: Think it should be wealthy, so you should be a minion.
• 8:02
Speaker 3: So give a listen to what she says about today
• 8:06
Speaker 3: creating wealth and whether it's possible for anyone to generate
• 8:11
Speaker 3: a billion dollars. In production and society, there's.
• 8:16
Speaker 5: A certain level of wealth and accumulation that is unearned.
• 8:22
Speaker 6: Right, you can't earn a billion dollars, that's right. You
• 8:28
Speaker 6: just can't earn that. That's exactly correct.
• 8:31
Speaker 7: You can, you can get market power, you can break rules,
• 8:38
Speaker 7: you can do all sorts of things, you can abuse
• 8:41
Speaker 7: labor laws, you can pay people less than what they're worth.
• 8:45
Speaker 5: But you can't earn that, right, and so you have
• 8:49
Speaker 5: to create a myth that since you didn't earn that,
• 8:54
Speaker 5: you have to create a myth of earning it, a.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: Myth cenator of earning it. That's a whole new way
• 9:00
Speaker 1: of putting it. And by the way, I know some
• 9:02
Speaker 1: people that are billionaires. They earned it. They didn't break
• 9:07
Speaker 1: a rule, they didn't do any of the things she
• 9:09
Speaker 1: tried to describe. They actually created an amazing product, or
• 9:13
Speaker 1: did something unbelievable, or created something out of thin air.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: And many times that turns into something that's massive, and
• 9:19
Speaker 1: she's like, no, no, that's impossible.
• 9:22
Speaker 3: Well, there's a village somewhere that's missing its idiot. What
• 9:26
Speaker 3: she is saying there is bizarrely foolish and profoundly ideological,
• 9:33
Speaker 3: and of course, the left wing interviewer there is Oh, yes,
• 9:36
Speaker 3: that's right, that's exactly right. Oh, oh ye, yes, yes,
• 9:38
Speaker 3: you're right. Now, to be clear, I have to acknowledge,
• 9:42
Speaker 3: you know, AOC has not earned a billion dollars. She
• 9:45
Speaker 3: was a bartender. Nothing wrong with me a bartender. Bartender
• 9:48
Speaker 3: is an honorable job to have. But she's right, if
• 9:52
Speaker 3: you're slinging drinks, you can't earnt a billion dollars slinging drinks.
• 9:55
Speaker 3: That's true. I mode lawns as a teenager mining lawns.
• 10:00
Speaker 3: I couldn't make a billion dollars mowing lawns. There are
• 10:02
Speaker 3: a lot of jobs where you can't earn a billion dollars. Now,
• 10:04
Speaker 3: what does AOC do today? She's a member of Congress.
• 10:07
  Speaker 3: She's right, you can't earn a billion dollars as a
• 10:11
Speaker 3: member of Congress unless you're like Nancy Pelosi, unless you're
• 10:13
Speaker 3: engaging in, say, insider trading. Set that aside. But let's
• 10:17
Speaker 3: actually look in history, all right, who have the billionaires been.
• 10:21
Speaker 3: Let's look at the first billionaire in American history. That
• 10:25
Speaker 3: was John D. Rockefeller. What did John D. Rockefeller do?
• 10:28
Speaker 3: He discovered oil and he developed low cost distribution for energy,
• 10:32
Speaker 3: all across the country, produced enormous value, transforming this nation,
• 10:37
Speaker 3: transforming the lives of millions of people. One of the
• 10:40
Speaker 3: other early billionaires, Henry Ford, invented the model T. You
• 10:45
Speaker 3: invented and perfected the assembly line of production. What did
• 10:50
Speaker 3: that do? It literally brought about the American middle class.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: We went from a society where you had horses and carriages,
• 10:57
Speaker 3: and even horses and carriages were limited to people who
• 10:59
Speaker 3: were wealthy, to within a generation having automobiles being widespread
• 11:06
Speaker 3: and being at a point where middle class families could
• 11:08
Speaker 3: afford an automobile. Now, in AOC's telling, Henry Ford did
• 11:12
Speaker 3: not generate a billion dollars worth of worth. I've got
• 11:16
Speaker 3: to say bringing up the creating effectively the American middle class,
• 11:20
Speaker 3: both the workers that worked for Henry Ford and worked
• 11:24
Speaker 3: in the auto industry that could go in and have
• 11:26
Speaker 3: honorable jobs and make make money, and go and buy
• 11:29
Speaker 3: a home and raise their kids and have a house
• 11:31
Speaker 3: with a backyard and a swing in the tree and
• 11:34
Speaker 3: have a car parked in the driveway. I mean that
• 11:38
Speaker 3: for most of history, for millennia, you lived with lords
• 11:43
Speaker 3: and serfs, You lived with monarchs and peasants, people that
• 11:46
Speaker 3: were scraping out subsistence living, trying to farm enough food
• 11:51
Speaker 3: on the ground, not to feed lots of other people,
• 11:54
Speaker 3: just to feed themselves in their own kids, and barely surviving.
• 11:57
Speaker 3: You had life expectancies. At the time that the that
• 12:00
Speaker 3: our country began life expectancies, people were dying in their thirties.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: You look at the benefit of a Henry Ford or
• 12:09
Speaker 3: let's take elon Musk. So according to AOC you cannot
• 12:14
Speaker 3: earn a billion dollars. Well, how about inventing the Tesla,
• 12:19
Speaker 3: inventing and putting in place the manufacturing capability of Tesla
• 12:24
Speaker 3: to be the world's dominant seller of electric vehicles, to
• 12:29
Speaker 3: sell millions of electric vehicles. By the way, also developing
• 12:33
Speaker 3: the self driving technology that now millions of people are
• 12:36
Speaker 3: putting their cars on auto drive, transforming how we are
• 12:39
Speaker 3: living within relatively short order. As we see more and
• 12:44
Speaker 3: more people moving to autonomous vehicles and self driving. One
• 12:48
Speaker 3: of the benefits of that. Every year there are about
• 12:50
Speaker 3: forty thousand people who are killed in car accidents. In
• 12:54
Speaker 3: Within the next decade, we're going to see that number
• 12:57
Speaker 3: drop to nearly zero. Is saving forty thous.
• 13:01
Speaker 2: Just because the autonomous.
• 13:02
Speaker 3: Corps, yes, is saving dollars forty thousand lives a year.
• 13:08
Speaker 3: Is that producing of a billion dollars of value? How
• 13:10
Speaker 3: about SpaceX SpaceX launching, you know, going to South Texas,
• 13:15
Speaker 3: going to Boca Chica, where six seven years ago that
• 13:18
Speaker 3: that was an empty strip of sand on the beach
• 13:22
Speaker 3: down in South Texas. I've been there. Elon built an
• 13:26
Speaker 3: entire city there, built an entire factory there that's manufacturing
• 13:31
Speaker 3: a rocket ship a month. Over ninety percent of the
• 13:35
Speaker 3: satellites around the world are SpaceX or Starlink satellites. By
• 13:41
Speaker 3: the way, Starlink producing connectivity all over the globe. You
• 13:44
Speaker 3: can be in the middle of the Amazon, you could
• 13:47
Speaker 3: be on a deserted mountain somewhere in the middle of
• 13:51
Speaker 3: nowhere and nonetheless had connectivity because Elon has put satellites
• 13:55
Speaker 3: all around the globe. And you want to talk about changing, changing,
• 13:59
Speaker 3: going to space where it used to be for the
• 14:02
Speaker 3: entire space race. You launch a rocket and when you're
• 14:05
Speaker 3: done launching the rocket, you throw the rocket away. It
• 14:07
Speaker 3: crashes into the ocean, it burns away the atmosphere. It's
• 14:09
Speaker 3: never used again. Everyone knew that's the only way you
• 14:12
Speaker 3: can do it. Elon said, well, why why not reuse it?
• 14:16
Speaker 3: And he developed the technology that he launches a rocket,
• 14:21
Speaker 3: has it come down in giant arms, giant chopsticks, grab
• 14:25
Speaker 3: the spaceship and set it back down on the landing plate.
• 14:28
Speaker 3: That is crazy science fiction technology. And yet for that
• 14:33
Speaker 3: sweet little communist, nothing Elon has done has earned the money.
• 14:37
Speaker 3: He has made the beauty of the American free enterprise system.
• 14:41
Speaker 3: You can earn today billions of dollars, and many people
• 14:44
Speaker 3: have done so. But the way you do it is
• 14:46
Speaker 3: by inventing a product, people work, inventing a service people sure,
• 14:51
Speaker 3: and improving their lives. Look, people's lives were better because
• 14:57
Speaker 3: Henry Ford created the model T and created a system
• 15:00
Speaker 3: manufacture it. And communists like AOC would say, We're going
• 15:05
Speaker 3: to crush those inventors. We're going to crush those entrepreneurs.
• 15:10
Speaker 3: We're going to move you to the kind of poverty
• 15:13
Speaker 3: that comes when the communist government is in charge, whether
• 15:17
Speaker 3: that is in Russia, whether that is in China, whether
• 15:20
Speaker 3: that is in Cuba, whether that is in North Korea.
• 15:23
Speaker 3: And AOC, I'm sure she doesn't know the facts, but
• 15:26
Speaker 3: every place or system of government has been implemented communism,
• 15:30
Speaker 3: the result is crushing poverty, starvation, suffering, misery, and it's
• 15:35
Speaker 3: also in terms of human rights murder, torture, imprisonment and
• 15:39
Speaker 3: in China at least concentration camps. That's literally what the
• 15:43
Speaker 3: left is arguing for, and they don't know enough and
• 15:46
Speaker 3: they are not honest enough to admit it.
• 15:49
Speaker 1: I gotta ask you a question, can you buy real
• 15:51
Speaker 1: bitcoin in your retirement account?
• 15:54
  Speaker 2: Well?
• 15:54
Speaker 1: If not, it's time to upgrade the Bitcoin IRA. It's
• 15:58
Speaker 1: twenty twenty six and crypto currency is where so many
• 16:01
Speaker 1: investors are going and diversifying, and you can buy and
• 16:05
Speaker 1: sell bitcoin inside a tax advantage IRA with bitcoin IRA,
• 16:10
Speaker 1: and that gives you more ways to diversify and grow
• 16:13
Speaker 1: your retirement savings. Security is their number one priority and
• 16:17
Speaker 1: your assets are protected by military grade multi key security
• 16:22
Speaker 1: and you're covered up to two hundred and fifty million
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: in digital asset.
• 16:26
Speaker 2: Insurance as well. So what are you waiting for?
• 16:29
Speaker 1: Get in the bitcoin game today and call and talk
• 16:33
Speaker 1: to a real person eight six six six seventy nine
• 16:38
Speaker 1: seven eight seven to one. That's eight sixty six six
• 16:42
Speaker 1: seventy nine seven eight seven one. Or go online to
• 16:46
Speaker 1: bitcoinira dot com slash ben to open a free account
• 16:51
Speaker 1: and earn up to one thousand dollars bonus. That's bitcoin
• 16:56
Speaker 1: ira dot com slash ben to open a free account
• 17:00
Speaker 1: and earn up to one thousand dollars bonus.
• 17:02
  Speaker 2: Now you know.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: There's alose things else she said, and she's decided it
• 17:05
Speaker 1: was a good time to play the race card and
• 17:06
Speaker 1: talk about race and wealth. I want to play for
• 17:09
Speaker 1: you what she said and then and get your reaction.
• 17:11
  Speaker 2: Take a listen.
• 17:13
Speaker 5: There are very few like real archetypes of in my opinion,
• 17:21
Speaker 5: truly what America is all about. I think about the
• 17:25
Speaker 5: civil rights and voting rights movement and how Black Americans
• 17:30
Speaker 5: really created democracy in this country. That's exactly right, How
• 17:34
Speaker 5: they literally made something from nothing. It is just beyond me.
• 17:41
Speaker 5: I think about how like Native people have survived and
• 17:51
  Speaker 5: preserved and.
• 17:55
  Speaker 6: Treasured their culture.
• 17:59
Speaker 5: I think about, and I think many of us think
• 18:02
Speaker 5: about immigrants, which if you aren't from one of those
• 18:05
Speaker 5: first two populations, you are certainly from largely the third.
• 18:09
Speaker 6: And so many of us like have our story of.
• 18:16
Speaker 5: Our parents, our grandparents are great great grandparents and so
• 18:20
Speaker 5: on and so forth, and who like come and make
• 18:24
Speaker 5: something from nothing. And I think that's a big part
• 18:29
Speaker 5: of also the most inspiring elements of what America is
• 18:34
  Speaker 5: all about.
• 18:35
Speaker 2: That's her definition what inspiring America is all about. God
• 18:38
  Speaker 2: help us.
• 18:39
Speaker 3: Well, look, I will say that the actually third point
• 18:42
Speaker 3: she made. I agreed with her when she talked about
• 18:45
Speaker 3: the immigrant story that so many millions of Americans have.
• 18:48
Speaker 3: But it's interesting what she described. She said, so many people,
• 18:51
Speaker 3: whether us, our parents or grandparents, who came to America
• 18:55
Speaker 3: and made something from nothing. That's actually right, And she
• 18:58
Speaker 3: screwed up and actually told the American Free enterprise story
• 19:02
Speaker 3: like accidentally. I'm sure she didn't actually listen to the
• 19:05
Speaker 3: words she was saying. But look, when my dad came
• 19:07
Speaker 3: from Cuba in nineteen fifty seven with one hundred dollars
• 19:10
Speaker 3: in his underwear, he came to America because, as AOC
• 19:15
Speaker 3: accurately put it there, you could make something from nothing.
• 19:18
Speaker 3: Freedom was possible, you could live. Your success didn't depend
• 19:23
Speaker 3: on who your parents were, who your grandparents are. If
• 19:26
Speaker 3: you had talent and hard work and a vision, you
• 19:28
Speaker 3: could succeed. It's why millions of people come to this country.
• 19:31
Speaker 3: But you look at the first half of what she said,
• 19:34
Speaker 3: it was like she was in a faculty lounge and
• 19:37
Speaker 3: just sort of signaling out all of the oppressed people
• 19:40
  Speaker 3: because it's intersectionality, it's there's a whole spectrum. I was
• 19:44
Speaker 3: really waiting for her to talk about like a lesbian
• 19:50
Speaker 3: Hamas terrorist in a wheelchair, like how could you find
• 19:55
Speaker 3: every element of oppression? So she says, she says, well,
• 19:59
Speaker 3: Indigenous people, well that that there. She just sort of
• 20:02
Speaker 3: the motes in their directions. She doesn't actually say.
• 20:03
Speaker 2: It, it's just checked, it's checked the box.
• 20:05
Speaker 3: She's just like, oh, you know, we're on stolen land.
• 20:10
Speaker 3: Mind you. She's not proposing giving Manhattan back. She just
• 20:13
Speaker 3: is like stolen land, stolen land, America, illegitimate. But look
• 20:17
Speaker 3: the comment she makes at the beginning, which which is
• 20:20
Speaker 3: truly it's just ludicrous. She says, black Americans created democracy.
• 20:26
Speaker 3: An American now listen. I think much of the journey
• 20:30
Speaker 3: of America has been a journey towards equality, a journey
• 20:33
Speaker 3: towards justice. And I agree with her. The civil rights
• 20:36
Speaker 3: movement in America was pivotal, But the idea that democracy
• 20:40
Speaker 3: was created in America by black Americans is just wildly ahistorical.
• 20:45
Speaker 3: Where did democracy come from? Well, number one, we don't
• 20:47
Speaker 3: have a pure democracy, a pure democracy an Athenian democracy
• 20:51
Speaker 3: would be say all the people get together and vote
• 20:54
Speaker 3: on the ultimate policy. So you get together and say
• 20:57
Speaker 3: what should the law be. Should the top tax rate
• 20:59
Speaker 3: be ten thirty percent or ninety percent? Everyone votes and
• 21:03
Speaker 3: whatever wins. That's what it is. That's a pure democracy.
• 21:06
Speaker 3: We don't have that. We have a republic. We have
• 21:08
Speaker 3: representative democracy. But her claim that black Americans created democracy
• 21:13
Speaker 3: in America, know that there were actually two processes that
• 21:17
Speaker 3: created democracy in America. Number one, what we are celebrating
• 21:20
Speaker 3: in July of this year the Declaration of Independence. That
• 21:24
Speaker 3: that was the birthday of our nation. And it was
• 21:27
Speaker 3: Thomas Jefferson who penned the immortal words, We hold these
• 21:31
Speaker 3: truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal,
• 21:35
Speaker 3: and that they are endowed by their creator with certain
• 21:37
Speaker 3: unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the
• 21:40
Speaker 3: pursuit of happiness. That declaration, by the way, declaring our
• 21:45
Speaker 3: independence not from billionaires but from oppressive government from King George.
• 21:51
Speaker 3: That was the beginning of our nation. And then some
• 21:54
Speaker 3: twenty years later the United States Constitution, which created our democracy.
• 21:59
Speaker 3: I mean, and if you want to look at the
• 22:01
Speaker 3: moment that our democracy was created, It was the delegates
• 22:04
Speaker 3: in Constitution Hall in Philadelphia who drafted the constitution, who
• 22:08
Speaker 3: set up our system of government, and then the states
• 22:10
Speaker 3: that had to ratify it, and once it was ratified,
• 22:14
Speaker 3: it went into effect. That is what is created our
• 22:17
Speaker 3: democracy now. If she were speaking precisely, what she could
• 22:21
Speaker 3: have said is when our democracy was created, it was
• 22:26
Speaker 3: imperfect and we had to travel a journey to move
• 22:30
Speaker 3: towards greater equality. That statement is unequivocally right. It is
• 22:34
Speaker 3: true accurate. When our nation was created, African Americans in
• 22:38
Speaker 3: half the country were slaves. They had no right to vote,
• 22:42
Speaker 3: women had no right to vote. On the question of slavery,
• 22:48
Speaker 3: I've said many times slavery is the original sin of America.
• 22:51
Speaker 3: It was a grotesque evil. I will point out though,
• 22:54
Speaker 3: that how did we abolish slavery? Look, we abolish slavery.
• 22:58
Speaker 3: Number one, The person who did it was Abraham Lincoln,
• 23:00
Speaker 3: the very first Republican president. Our party was created in
• 23:05
Speaker 3: order to defeat slavery. That was the purpose. That's the
• 23:07
Speaker 3: origin of the Republican Party. The Democrat Party, by the way,
• 23:12
Speaker 3: virtually its entire tenure defended say it slavery, and fought
• 23:15
Speaker 3: ferociously in favor of slavery. But the way the abolitionists
• 23:20
Speaker 3: in the Republican Party successfully abolished slavery was not by
• 23:25
Speaker 3: attacking our founding principles, not by attacking the Constitution, not
• 23:29
Speaker 3: by attacking the Declaration, but rather by appealing to those
• 23:34
Speaker 3: principles by saying we are not living up. When Jefferson
• 23:39
Speaker 3: wrote the words all men are created equal, that statement
• 23:43
Speaker 3: is on its face, completely incompatible with slavery. Jefferson knew
• 23:48
Speaker 3: that he was brilliant, and he was putting into place.
• 23:53
Speaker 3: I believe I agree with doctor Martin Luther King who
• 23:57
Speaker 3: said the arc of history is long, but it bends
• 24:00
Speaker 3: towards justice, but AOC and this is true with the
• 24:05
Speaker 3: squad and with all of the communists on the left.
• 24:08
Speaker 3: They're so ignorant that everything I just said there they
• 24:10
Speaker 3: don't know. They're told that the American Revolution was a
• 24:14
Speaker 3: communist revolution against the billionaires, that the answer is more
• 24:18
Speaker 3: government power, and they repeat things like black Americans gave
• 24:23
Speaker 3: us democracy, which is just simply not accurate. The civil
• 24:28
Speaker 3: rights movement was one of the greatest democratic movements in
• 24:31
Speaker 3: our nation's history. By the way, she points to the
• 24:34
Speaker 3: Civil Rights Act. Look Civil Rights Act far more Republicans.
• 24:37
Speaker 3: A much greater percentage of Republicans in Congress voted for
• 24:40
Speaker 3: the Civil Rights Act than Democrats. Her party opposed the
• 24:43
Speaker 3: Civil Rights Act, the majority of them. And so yes,
• 24:48
Speaker 3: we're on a journey. But the left, they're ignorance. It
• 24:53
Speaker 3: is a close battle, which predominates ideology or ignorance, But
• 24:59
Speaker 3: they're both intertwined, and they're both fundamentally wrong.
• 25:02
Speaker 1: I want to take a moment to tell you about
• 25:04
Speaker 1: an organization that is called Americans United for Life. ALU
• 25:09
Speaker 1: is a non profit law firm an advocacy group that
• 25:13
Speaker 1: was founded in nineteen seventy one, two years before Roe
• 25:16
Speaker 1: established the constitutional right to an abortion before fetal viability.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: With the US Supreme Court decision and Dobbs v. Jackson
• 25:25
Speaker 1: and the Women's Health Organization overturning it's nineteen seventy three
• 25:29
Speaker 1: ruling and Roe v. Wade, the nonprofit law firm has
• 25:32
Speaker 1: seen its biggest victory yet. Now there are Democrats and
• 25:36
Speaker 1: liberals that are fighting back. And that's where you and
• 25:39
Speaker 1: I have the opportunity to overturn pro abortion laws and
• 25:43
Speaker 1: advance pro life legislation that attacks the most vulnerable in
• 25:48
Speaker 1: our society from the womb to the tomb. Together, we
• 25:52
Speaker 1: can stand side by side, and we can shape the
• 25:55
Speaker 1: future of our nation through life affirming legislation in every state.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: And that is where your monthly gift twenty five dollars
• 26:04
Speaker 1: genuinely helps to advance pro life legislation desperately needed in
• 26:09
Speaker 1: thirty eight states. To help pass pro life legislation to
• 26:12
Speaker 1: defend life. For America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday, every
• 26:17
Speaker 1: gift they receive will be matched two x up until
• 26:21
Speaker 1: two hundred thousand dollars. You can donate securely right now
• 26:26
Speaker 1: at aou dot org slash verdict. That's aul dot org
• 26:33
Speaker 1: slash verdict aul dot org slash verdict sponsored by Americans
• 26:38
Speaker 1: United for Life and by the way, AOC was not
• 26:41
Speaker 1: done there. She also had another pretty interesting line. She
• 26:45
Speaker 1: made it very clear that she wanted to say something
• 26:49
Speaker 1: about illegal immigrants and saying through fear mongering that once
• 26:52
Speaker 1: they're all deported, they're going to come after other groups
• 26:55
Speaker 1: referring to Republicans, take a listen to this.
• 26:58
Speaker 5: All of a sudden, we now have have a paramilitary force.
• 27:03
Speaker 6: We don't have a court system.
• 27:04
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 27:05
Speaker 5: They don't need they don't think they need judicial warrants,
• 27:09
Speaker 5: so you don't get due process.
• 27:11
Speaker 6: So you start creating this black box system.
• 27:14
Speaker 5: But you can start point a finger, whether it's like
• 27:19
Speaker 5: again like we saw in Jim Crow, whether you just
• 27:22
Speaker 5: point a finger and one hundred years ago accuse a
• 27:26
Speaker 5: little black boy or something, you can point a finger
• 27:29
Speaker 5: and accuse someone of that today. If you think when
• 27:32
Speaker 5: once you build that machine, that it's only going to
• 27:36
Speaker 5: be reserved to that this eats profit, these things Ice.
• 27:44
Speaker 5: It's not just ICE, it's Corcivic, it's Geogroup. These those
• 27:49
Speaker 5: are corporations that run ICE detention centers. They are for profit,
• 27:55
Speaker 5: they are traded on Wall Street. And what happens is
• 28:01
Speaker 5: that those companies and this system is that it does
• 28:07
Speaker 5: not accept anything but growth. It's not even good enough
• 28:12
  Speaker 5: to be profitable.
• 28:14
Speaker 6: It's not even good enough to be profitable.
• 28:16
Speaker 5: You have to be more profitable and more profitable and
• 28:20
Speaker 5: more profitable. It's not enough to be a profitable business.
• 28:23
Speaker 5: You have to keep growing those profits. And so once
• 28:26
Speaker 5: they've rounded up every person in this country, who do
• 28:28
Speaker 5: you think is next?
• 28:29
Speaker 3: Yeah? O, look, that is that both the classic ignorance
• 28:33
Speaker 3: and misinformation of the left. So they understand AOC supports
• 28:38
Speaker 3: a open border, so she wants to abolish the police.
• 28:41
Speaker 3: She wants to abolish eyes. She opposes all law enforcement
• 28:44
Speaker 3: that actually secures our border against foreign invaders, against illegal immigrants,
• 28:49
Speaker 3: against violent murderers, rapists, child molesters, and gang bangers. And
• 28:53
Speaker 3: her position has consistently been let all of them out
• 28:56
Speaker 3: of jail. But at the same time she wants to
• 29:00
Speaker 3: tell her very ill informed supporters, if there are detention
• 29:06
Speaker 3: centers that are used for illegal immigrants, that are used
• 29:08
Speaker 3: for violent criminals, those will be used by government against you.
• 29:13
Speaker 3: And part of what is really astonishing is if you
• 29:17
Speaker 3: look throughout history, in almost every instance where there been
• 29:22
Speaker 3: mass detention centers, it's been the left that has put
• 29:25
Speaker 3: them in place. You look at whether it is the
• 29:29
Speaker 3: Soviet gulags where communists imprisoned millions. You look at Joseph Stalin,
• 29:36
Speaker 3: you know, you read Soulsnicha and the Gulag Archipelago and
• 29:40
Speaker 3: talks about the incredible miseries of communism imprisoning millions in prisons.
• 29:45
Speaker 3: You look at my father's home country of Cuba and
• 29:48
Speaker 3: the prisons that are there right now. You look at
• 29:50
Speaker 3: North Korea, Cuba's communists, Soviet Union was communists. North Korea's communists.
• 29:56
Speaker 3: You have gulags there. You look at China, China today
• 30:01
Speaker 3: has over a million wigers who are religious minorities, who
• 30:05
Speaker 3: are in concentration camps. It's the largest instance of human
• 30:08
Speaker 3: slavery on the face of the planet. That is communist China.
• 30:12
Speaker 3: And by the way, you look at World War Two
• 30:15
Speaker 3: the Nazis. So leftists like to paint the Nazis as right,
• 30:19
Speaker 3: but let's be clear, Nazis were national socialists. That was
• 30:23
Speaker 3: their policy. That's what Nazi stands for is national socialists.
• 30:27
Speaker 3: The economic policy of the left is what the Nazis
• 30:31
Speaker 3: believed in government control. And I do want to be clear,
• 30:35
Speaker 3: it's not just historical leftists who have imposed concentration cans.
• 30:40
Speaker 3: Let me be very clear. I think slavery is wrong.
• 30:44
Speaker 3: Concentration camps are wrong. Detention camps. By the way, in
• 30:47
Speaker 3: the United States, which president created detention camps and detained
• 30:52
  Speaker 3: American citizens.
• 30:54
Speaker 1: I'm gonna go where it was a democrat is I
• 30:56
Speaker 1: just want to be clear about this.
• 30:57
Speaker 3: It is a democrat. It was FDR who said up
• 31:00
Speaker 3: in tournament camps for Japanese Americans who were American citizens,
• 31:05
Speaker 3: and in turn thousands of them forcibly detained them during
• 31:08
Speaker 3: World War Two. That was a Democrat. By the way
• 31:11
Speaker 3: she talks about Jim Crow, she probably doesn't know this,
• 31:14
Speaker 3: but do you know who wrote the Jim Crow laws?
• 31:16
Speaker 3: That would be Democrats? Is that? Do you know who
• 31:18
Speaker 3: funded who funded and founded the KKK? That would be Democrats?
• 31:24
Speaker 3: And I want to read to give you something recent
• 31:29
Speaker 3: in twenty twenty, there was an Iowa based field organizer
• 31:34
Speaker 3: for Bernie Sanders' campaign who was caught on tape discussing
• 31:38
Speaker 3: the need for quote re education camps for people who
• 31:43
Speaker 3: did not support Bernie Sanders, particularly for Trump supporters. So
• 31:48
Speaker 3: AOC it is her side that has advocated we're going
• 31:53
Speaker 3: to put the people we disagree with in camps. In
• 31:57
Speaker 3: some level, that's not shocking because the left has always
• 32:01
Speaker 3: been willing. If you support government power, you are willing
• 32:05
Speaker 3: to use that government power to lock up everyone who
• 32:08
Speaker 3: disagrees with you. And there's something fundamentally different between locking
• 32:13
Speaker 3: up a violent criminal locking up someone who has violated
• 32:15
Speaker 3: the law that is protecting the community, that's protecting our citizens,
• 32:19
Speaker 3: that is upholding the rule of law. There's something fundamentally
• 32:23
Speaker 3: different between that and rounding up and locking up lawful citizens.
• 32:28
Speaker 3: And in history, virtually the only people to have done
• 32:32
Speaker 3: so have been leftists, have been communists like AOC. And
• 32:37
Speaker 3: yet look, I do think she studied Sololensky's rules for radicals.
• 32:41
Speaker 3: She starts and throughout accuses her opponents of doing that
• 32:46
Speaker 3: which she would do. And look, these interviews truth matters.
• 32:54
Speaker 3: And let me say this as a final point, this
• 32:57
Speaker 3: is a big part of the reason we do these
• 32:58
Speaker 3: podcasts is to actually engage and give you the substance.
• 33:03
Speaker 3: Because if someone is a young person and they're listening
• 33:06
Speaker 3: to AOC and they're like, oh, oh, yeah, the American
• 33:09
Speaker 3: Revolution fought to overcome the billionaires. We got to stop
• 33:13
Speaker 3: those billionaires. This podcast is here to give you the
• 33:16
Speaker 3: facts and information to push back on that dishonest and
• 33:21
  Speaker 3: ignorant indoctrination.
• 33:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, doubt, don't forget.
• 33:24
Speaker 1: We do this show three days a week, So make
• 33:26
