Morning Devotion - Love Not the World
The Bible is very strong on the danger of the believer in Christ being in love with the world. It equates such love or friendship with the world as an enmity with God, and declares that the love for the world and its lusts will expire, and only those who love God and the things of His Kingdom will abide eternally. Today's Morning Devotion affirms this and goes on to encourage believers to set their affection on the things that are above, in heaven, and are of eternal value. It affirms that these are the things that will get them to heaven, and not the love of the world. August 23, 2023.
