Philadelphia Officer Killed in Early Morning Shooting | Philadelphia News

A Philadelphia police officer, 29, died from catastrophic injuries after being shot early Sunday morning on Elmwood Avenue. Two men were found with gunshot wounds — the officer and a 35-year-old civilian — both rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital. The officer did not survive despite trauma surgery.
