- 2:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I Matt, I have Me and Victoria have had
- 2:07Speaker 6: this conversation. She didn't necessarily agree with me, but my
- 2:09Speaker 6: thought was, I think it's an underreported issue.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe more stressful. I don't think we talk about
- 2:14Speaker 2: maybe not more, but I don't think we talk about
- 2:17Speaker 2: it enough.
- 2:17Speaker 7: I think y'all put in the most work out of
- 2:19Speaker 7: no doubt.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Absolutely, mm hmm.
- 2:22Speaker 3: You're going to be in that room and be like,
- 2:24Speaker 3: oh my god, she is so much more powerful than me.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm very weak. He'll be like, oh man, I'm
- 2:32Speaker 2: a huge wamp.
- 2:33Speaker 6: Guys like, anybody that's met me and Victoria, anybody in
- 2:37Speaker 6: the audience at our wedding, and they were sitting there
- 2:38Speaker 6: and they're like, I wonder who the more well rounded
- 2:41Speaker 6: of these two individuals are. Wasn't really that hard of
- 2:44Speaker 6: a choice to begin with.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Victoria is so delightful.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Well, yeah, and Taylor, she's delightful. But Taylor right, my god, God,
- 2:57Speaker 2: I get it, guys.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Inspector, yeah, inspector.
- 3:01Speaker 2: No, that's an important job, okay, integrity in the sports.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Exactly how else we going to prevent those extra couple
- 3:08Speaker 6: of inches literally and figuratively on the ski jump?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Sure it's a good callback. Jake wouldn't hear for that?
- 3:13Speaker 7: No, how unfortunate that he wasn't he wasn't here for that,
- 3:17Speaker 7: or pauw Tuxi.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Aw TUXI, I was not.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I got that sent to me via next later I
- 3:24Speaker 3: got to relive it with you, all though you did agree.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I mean, Paul Tuxi, he was right right kind of
- 3:35Speaker 2: right low tomorrow it's like fifty Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I love that. He doesn't even use that like the
- 3:40Speaker 3: right way, but he just keeps saying it.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to keep rolling with it eventually. All Right,
- 3:46Speaker 2: it worked.
- 3:47Speaker 7: I mean, you weren't completely wrong, and how you just
- 3:50Speaker 7: used it. I just wouldn't have used it.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Like when you're stamping like no, no, for real, That's
- 3:55Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Like Paul TUXI call it extra winner dead.
- 3:58Speaker 7: Ass yep, yeah, you get it.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You're gonna be using that all the time. Oh yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 3: It felt so forced.
- 4:07Speaker 6: And when you said we started the show and you said, hell, yeah, brother,
- 4:11Speaker 6: I was like, Matt probably said that religiously.
- 4:13Speaker 2: This weekend at Talladega. Oh my god, I said, I said,
- 4:16Speaker 2: I gave so many random people fist pumps and I
- 4:19Speaker 2: was like, dahn.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and they gave him right back, didn't.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, brother, that's what my says. Yeah, God
- 4:30Speaker 2: needed a driver. Raise who praise do?
- 4:37Speaker 6: I've seen that bumper sticker multiple times. It's a requirement
- 4:43Speaker 6: to sticker on front doors. Yeah, box which mail boxers?
- 4:50Speaker 6: Big number three over there.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Right next right next door to the large mount bast
- 4:55Speaker 2: mail bump.
- 4:58Speaker 4: No doubt, rather be fishing.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Oh yeah, we solely Uh, it's completely random. But we
- 5:06Speaker 6: were kind of talking about bumper stickers, me and Victoria.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Someone the other day totally relate to it, said please
- 5:11Speaker 6: don't hit me. I don't know how insurance works.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I was like, literally, know what fair point I can
- 5:16Speaker 2: get behind this? I get insurance. I want to make
- 5:20Speaker 2: my brain hurt that.
- 5:22Speaker 7: In taxes, yeah, I'm pretty sure like I did something
- 5:27Speaker 7: wrong on my taxes every year.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well, it's pretty irresponsible that they just let you do
- 5:33Speaker 2: it yourself.
- 5:33Speaker 6: Right, I agree, I gotta I gotta check in the mail.
- 5:37Speaker 6: The other day, fifteen bucks from the car dealership up
- 5:39Speaker 6: and they were like, you paid too much in taxes.
- 5:41Speaker 6: I was like, you wouldn't have sent it to me
- 5:42Speaker 6: and everyone I know, And guess I just kept it
- 5:45Speaker 6: because I don't know how that works.
- 5:47Speaker 7: Hey, fifteen dollars in gas, try to get you very far.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I get you about three gallons.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And three energy drinks.
- 5:54Speaker 3: True, Yeah, I think I was special.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, in this economy, it's priority.
- 5:59Speaker 7: I saw a quote on Instagram the other day that
- 6:02Speaker 7: really stuck with me, so I wanted to take my
- 6:05Speaker 7: time here to share it with the people because I
- 6:08Speaker 7: feel like it's just super.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Like, it's important.
- 6:10Speaker 7: It's it's important, it's profound, and it blew my mind
- 6:13Speaker 7: when I read it.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Okay?
- 6:17Speaker 7: What some monkeys consider business, horses consider play, But to Tom,
- 6:21Speaker 7: it's all foolery.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Ooh, I love a good town foolery.
- 6:28Speaker 7: It just really stuck with me, all right, Like.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Tattoo worthy, I.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Think, so, I think I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna tattoo it.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Yeah, people should use bumper stickers like that. Though. Well,
- 6:42Speaker 3: I feel like it's like.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of people express themselves in I feel
- 6:47Speaker 2: like it's your back glass. Now, it's not like, oh,
- 6:51Speaker 2: just like on the actual bumper. Yeah, it's definitely on
- 6:54Speaker 2: the glass, like.
- 6:54Speaker 3: The family, like the stick figure family.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Oh I hate those.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Kids and seven dogs and like how long that take
- 7:03Speaker 2: to put up there? You know, it's always called bumper sticker,
- 7:05Speaker 2: but like I don't I mean, when was the last
- 7:07Speaker 2: time you saw a sticker on that actual bumper? I mean,
- 7:10Speaker 2: even like.
- 7:10Speaker 4: When we were growing up, it was usually on a
- 7:13Speaker 4: political sticker though.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're always old, like there a while it's
- 7:19Speaker 2: an old car. I don't think I'm.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Bernie Sanders like presidential campaign on a lot of cars,
- 7:26Speaker 3: you know what.
- 7:27Speaker 6: But it's always so I have this theory and it's
- 7:29Speaker 6: never let me down. Anytime you see one of those
- 7:31Speaker 6: cars with like twenty five stickers, almost like a PRIs,
- 7:34Speaker 6: there's always a Bernie one somewhere in there, and.
- 7:37Speaker 7: It co exists one like the co exists as a
- 7:39Speaker 7: classic like I'm going to put this on my super.
- 7:42Speaker 2: U right and did not make this like political like
- 7:46Speaker 2: usually the the political bumper stickers from the left side
- 7:51Speaker 2: usually go on the actual bumper. Now, that I'm thinking
- 7:53Speaker 2: about it. The right side goes on the glass, the
- 7:55Speaker 2: backglass of the trust that glass. But the actual the
- 8:00Speaker 2: time I see I went on actual bumper. You're all right,
- 8:03Speaker 2: they'll bring up a good point there. It's important.
- 8:05Speaker 7: I mean, we're the only people investigating bumper stickers m
- 8:08Speaker 7: H and High Point University.
- 8:10Speaker 2: So look, if you are driving down the road and
- 8:14Speaker 2: you're on Interstate and some traffic and see a bumper
- 8:16Speaker 2: sticker on an actual bumper, tagus, so send send the
- 8:22Speaker 2: text Stap. Let us know the text Stap.
- 8:24Speaker 7: That's right two two five four nine nine one four
- 8:26Speaker 7: five texted to us.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Let's get weird today on this text app.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Okay, I say weird like yesterday. I don't even know
- 8:31Speaker 3: if we talked anything. That was kind of Yeah, that
- 8:34Speaker 3: one spiraled a little bit.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Yeah on high Point.
- 8:37Speaker 7: Yeah, so, oh you got some tea on high A.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Producer that is on the NFL channel. She went to
- 8:47Speaker 3: Elon Okay, which is where Lana Clark came.
- 8:49Speaker 7: From and owned by Elon Musk.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yes, she was telling somebody, it's like I went on
- 8:56Speaker 3: this visit to this place high.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Point, and there's something off about high Points.
- 9:00Speaker 3: She's like, I don't know. It's like I'm telling you
- 9:03Speaker 3: a mattress store. Yeah, it just had a weird vibe
- 9:06Speaker 3: and it's like I felt like people were robots and
- 9:08Speaker 3: I was just sitting there and like you're hustling, Like,
- 9:10Speaker 3: oh my gosh. We've talked about high Point on air before.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, right, it's not just us multiple times.
- 9:17Speaker 3: There's something going on at high Point.
- 9:22Speaker 4: On campus.
- 9:24Speaker 7: One thing I trust about myself is my intuition. H Point,
- 9:27Speaker 7: high Point sketchy, sketchy.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah, where's that money?
- 9:30Speaker 2: Think it's up front?
- 9:32Speaker 7: Yeah, because like I said, the president is like donating
- 9:35Speaker 7: his own money to the university, and then his daughter's
- 9:38Speaker 7: like head of marketing or something that has a salary there.
- 9:42Speaker 2: They're all just getting taxi right off the back on the.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Yeah, the president's daughter of No, not a high Point.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Matt Ryan's a president, So go to Matt said, He's like,
- 9:58Speaker 6: oh my god, it's bigger than we thought it was.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Then we thought, do we need to do a remote
- 10:02Speaker 2: from high Point?
- 10:03Speaker 7: I was actually thinking that, like should we go to
- 10:05Speaker 7: high Points?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Probabigative journalists?
- 10:09Speaker 7: Have you seen those videos of those people that keep
- 10:11Speaker 7: trying to run into scientology churches have you seen those.
- 10:16Speaker 7: They try to see how deep they can go into
- 10:19Speaker 7: the church before they get stopped.
- 10:23Speaker 2: How far has anyone made it? Pretty far? Look, that's
- 10:26Speaker 2: a really good idea. We need to create some sort
- 10:29Speaker 2: of show where we go on location and investigate college
- 10:35Speaker 2: or just sports theories.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Yeah, like we need to go to We need to
- 10:41Speaker 7: go to San Francisco.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, camp out there for like a month.
- 10:47Speaker 7: And then see if our ankle snap.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Camp Yeah, I'm not spending a month in San Francisco.
- 10:54Speaker 2: That's true. That place is garbage.
- 10:56Speaker 7: I mean there's plenty of places to camp out.
- 10:58Speaker 2: We can stay at Oakland. Yeah, god, Abridge city in
- 11:00Speaker 2: a garbage state.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Okay, I just got a text. I got a text.
- 11:08Speaker 7: I was just a cheer when I say, yeah, just
- 11:10Speaker 7: saw a bumper sticker this morning that says feel the
- 11:13Speaker 7: burn twenty sixteen. It was a little faded.
- 11:16Speaker 6: I wonder know how many other bumper stickers that burn
- 11:19Speaker 6: and burned by b e R.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Yes, that's a good one.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I like that. That's that's solid. That's a good one.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Like that should have been like primary campaigns looking for
- 11:30Speaker 6: him Field.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Do you have any uh any stickers, any bumper stickers
- 11:34Speaker 3: on those vehicles now.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Growing up.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, like high school college.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Uh yeah, we had all of the football team, not
- 11:41Speaker 2: a big deal. We put our helmet decals on our y.
- 11:44Speaker 6: We had that in a renegadees like for just being football.
- 11:48Speaker 6: My sister is a cheerleader. I was a football player.
- 11:50Speaker 6: They had the megaphone in the football helmet of a
- 11:51Speaker 6: mom's car, but I never did on mine.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Really so tight.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I think I had a NASCAR Racers number thirteen because
- 12:01Speaker 3: I were thirteen in high school. I don't remember who
- 12:03Speaker 3: the drive was. You just had thirteen.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Looks sweet.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I like the thirteen.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It was a trickle. I hope it was.
- 12:09Speaker 4: I hope it was.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Uh. And then at LSU, I feel like everybody that
- 12:13Speaker 3: went to LSU at the time had the same window
- 12:17Speaker 3: dcal It was LSU. It was just spelled out LSU
- 12:20Speaker 3: and it was just white and it was like this long.
- 12:22Speaker 3: It was stretched out. LSU kind of had a little
- 12:25Speaker 3: arch to it. Everybody at the time I felt like
- 12:28Speaker 3: had that same LSU.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I feel like windows. I feel like I switched over
- 12:33Speaker 2: at in high school after the season to the LSU
- 12:38Speaker 2: helmet decal. Yeah, I had that on my truck at
- 12:40Speaker 2: some point. Yeah, I can't remember if it was when
- 12:42Speaker 2: I got here or I didn't.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I'm going to find a picture of the lsu dkal
- 12:46Speaker 3: that I'm talking about, and all the people that are
- 12:50Speaker 3: thirty eight to forty five are.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Gonna appreciate it. I think. Okay, I know, I think
- 12:54Speaker 2: very specific for sure. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 2: I just used the helmet decal. Yeah mine, Yeah, pretty
- 13:01Speaker 2: bad A he just got Greg to send you on.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Uh no, they sold them at the bookstore. Man, illegal benefits. Huh,
- 13:09Speaker 2: the old helmet decale trying to go back and take
- 13:13Speaker 2: these championships.
- 13:15Speaker 7: I ever put a sticker on my car.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels like it died with our group.
- 13:20Speaker 6: He kind of did a little bit, like we had
- 13:22Speaker 6: a couple of like football things, like couples of some
- 13:24Speaker 6: of the full players kind of had like the number
- 13:25Speaker 6: like you're talking about.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Other than that, I mean, y'all didn't have a guy
- 13:32Speaker 2: that was peeing on something you didn't like.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I forgot about that, Yeah, I know. Yeah, it's like
- 13:40Speaker 3: uh like the little.
- 13:42Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, it's like, uh yeah, I've seen.
- 13:46Speaker 4: That one, like a Packers fan peeing on a.
- 13:48Speaker 7: Bear, or the one that's like it.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah with the stick figure.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, and it's like yeah, thrusting, Yeah.

- 18:32Speaker 2: doing it, all the adults are doing it, So why
- 18:34Speaker 2: don't you do it? Go flow heavy.
- 18:39Speaker 3: You know what I find very funny is when they're
- 18:41Speaker 3: doing shows on ESPN and you got the host and
- 18:45Speaker 3: they're they're there and they got suits on, oh whatever.
- 18:49Speaker 3: But it's like then they have a couple of people
- 18:51Speaker 3: on video somewhere like in a hotel room, like Mike Tannebaum,
- 18:55Speaker 3: who's definitely in a hotel room and he has a
- 18:58Speaker 3: suit on.
- 18:59Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, he doesn't have pants on those he does.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Not in the box.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Why why what do you do it? Like you're putting
- 19:06Speaker 3: on a right up in a sport code, you're in
- 19:09Speaker 3: a hotel room and somewhere in.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Then you got Jordan Jordan Rodgers there the.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Middle of the country. Jordan's looks like he's at his house.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Maybe with the setup, but still, can we just get
- 19:22Speaker 3: like a ESPN quartership for these guys.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, they can be branded. They can do it a hoodie.
- 19:29Speaker 2: It's fine, Sue to be on TV. It's a little
- 19:33Speaker 2: it's a little old timy.
- 19:35Speaker 7: I just got sent a bumper sticker that says show
- 19:44Speaker 7: up and show out and it's on a lifted truck.
- 19:51Speaker 7: Obviously not your don't worry. It might be he just
- 19:58Speaker 7: put the sticker on his truck. That's a show up
- 20:00Speaker 7: and show out, so it might be. Actually the truck's
- 20:04Speaker 7: not white.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Wow, they're talking about John Harball in ESPN right now too, Matt, Thanks,
- 20:12Speaker 3: I wonder what they're saying. The're probably talking about.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Great it is, I don't think so.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Walker high School. Yeah, like this is the longer high
- 20:22Speaker 2: school parking. That shocking. I mean, my guy get this
- 20:28Speaker 2: guy in a new hotel room with that orange lamp
- 20:31Speaker 2: in the corner. It's got the button on off switch
- 20:34Speaker 2: at the bottom near the outlet on the lamp. Like,
- 20:37Speaker 2: there we go.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Whoa, that is a big one. Show up and show Okay,
- 20:44Speaker 3: is that really walker?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Yes? That is? That's the tracks. The picture was taken
- 20:49Speaker 2: on Dame right.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It was.
- 20:54Speaker 2: You're lucky the back of a couple of cars.
- 20:58Speaker 3: What's he showing up and showing off? Or and why
- 21:02Speaker 3: stick out? Why did everybody back.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Back into their parking spot?
- 21:06Speaker 7: Everybody single?
- 21:09Speaker 3: That's they're back then, But.
- 21:11Speaker 2: It's a thing, Well you got a backup, you don't.
- 21:16Speaker 2: It's safer if you don't know how to drive, especially
- 21:20Speaker 2: like when especially if you're in a crowded parking lot
- 21:23Speaker 2: where everybody gets out at the same time. You don't
- 21:26Speaker 2: want to be exiting with everybody else and having a
- 21:28Speaker 2: three point turnout of that.
- 21:29Speaker 6: I get it because a lot of people say, well,
- 21:32Speaker 6: it's so much easier to leave if you back in.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, but it's harder to park when you
- 21:36Speaker 2: get there. You're not parking at the same time as everybody.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Maybe oh you know, somebody behind you, maybe one person
- 21:44Speaker 3: when you're passing the parking spot and you're actually let
- 21:49Speaker 3: me back in.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I'm with them, y'all. Are y'all are all wrong on
- 21:52Speaker 2: this one. That's fact.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I think if you're like a work project and it's
- 21:56Speaker 3: safe for to back in, but not not a Honda.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Because just because your car deserves to have a couple
- 22:02Speaker 2: of rubber duckies on the on the console doesn't mean
- 22:05Speaker 2: you need to make fun of my big truck having
- 22:07Speaker 2: it back into parking spots.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I used to whip a twelve passenger transit into the
- 22:12Speaker 3: parking spots that you back into, all right.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I mean it's not like I can't park, it's just easier.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Nobody's ever seen you do it.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Park? I mean not here, dude, that old have two fifty.
- 22:24Speaker 3: I had that we go to the parking lot.
- 22:26Speaker 2: After to see if I can drive a car.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah, see if you can part.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I'm a damn good driver that that have to fifty.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I had had the six foot bed and never backed
- 22:37Speaker 2: into a parking You shud see me parallel.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Oh, I have parallel parking down to a science.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Jake trying to make fun of me yesterday because I
- 22:46Speaker 2: said I drink ice coffee and He's like, don't tell
- 22:48Speaker 2: anyone that. I was like, oh public, tough guy. Alert.
- 22:53Speaker 7: I love ice coffee.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 22:57Speaker 3: You said I not only drink ice coffee.
- 22:59Speaker 2: I only dank guys coffee. That's weird because I only
- 23:03Speaker 2: drink coffee in the morning. And every morning I come
- 23:06Speaker 2: do this morning show and I have my iced coffee
- 23:08Speaker 2: right there. I'm all about getting the caffeine down. I
- 23:11Speaker 2: don't want to sit there and I want to you
- 23:17Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. I want to do it. I
- 23:20Speaker 2: want to get that coffee, get that caffeine in.
- 23:23Speaker 4: I get it.
- 23:25Speaker 2: You sip it still though, Oh no, I chug.
- 23:28Speaker 3: It pull today. Hot coffee or cold coffee.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I'm curious. I'm not saying I'm I'm not saying I'm
- 23:39Speaker 2: in the majority. No, I think so, yeah, probably not, huh.
- 23:47Speaker 7: I'm posting it on ESPN's Twitter.
- 23:49Speaker 3: You put it in the YouTube, Chip, I appreciate that
- 23:52Speaker 3: as well.
- 23:52Speaker 2: We're gonna have some answer. And here's here's the thing
- 23:55Speaker 2: I'll preface it with. I mean, there's more hot drinkers
- 23:58Speaker 2: than cold drinkers. But for you to take the stance
- 24:02Speaker 2: of don't say that in public, it's weird.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Not really.
- 24:07Speaker 2: It's like you think it's like they're judging me for
- 24:10Speaker 2: drinking Kirkland brand whiskey, because.
- 24:12Speaker 4: No, it's a sad thank you.
- 24:16Speaker 3: You think in the trenches World War two, they're like, oh, man,
- 24:20Speaker 3: an iced coffee sound the.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Grate right now? That wasn't ice coffee, wasn't a thing.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I'm sure somebody put ice in the coffee before in
- 24:26Speaker 3: the forties fifties.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, to get it down because they need that caffeine
- 24:29Speaker 2: and them quick and they didn't want to.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Confused. I've never seen you chug coffee thing now.
- 24:43Speaker 7: I mean, that's a brilliant, big what coffee jug that
- 24:46Speaker 7: you have up there?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Absolutely got four shots of cold brew. This is this movie, but.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I'm the devil.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Shout out to Marler and his caffeine intake. Oh last week,
- 25:05Speaker 2: my god, fifty man walking time bomb. I mean, yeah,
- 25:13Speaker 2: before this, this is before seven am when he shows
- 25:16Speaker 2: up to the parade grounds last week and he shows
- 25:19Speaker 2: up and he has a mixed beverage.
- 25:22Speaker 3: In a like a in a water bottle.
- 25:24Speaker 2: It's like red or whatever, and I'm like, what's that.
- 25:25Speaker 2: He's like, Oh, it's four hundred milligrams of caffeine. I'm like, oh, okay,
- 25:29Speaker 2: back three D. He's like that's a lot, and he's like, yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 2: I've already had two five hour energies too. I was
- 25:34Speaker 2: like what, And so I started counted up. Do you
- 25:37Speaker 2: know you're past once you finished that bottle, you're going
- 25:41Speaker 2: to be at over eight hundred milligrams? Yeah, And it's
- 25:43Speaker 2: not even eight thirty yet. And when nine o'clock came,
- 25:48Speaker 2: he like kind of like under he started like sipping
- 25:52Speaker 2: another five hour energy. Try not to let people see
- 25:56Speaker 2: we caught him. So he was he was four digits
- 25:59Speaker 2: the amount of mills that he had by nine am.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Had a comment, is.
- 26:02Speaker 3: He that bad of a morning person?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Comparently?
- 26:05Speaker 3: I mean he looks like somebody that sleeps in often. Yes,
- 26:08Speaker 3: you know it does, like stays up late, sleeps in late.
- 26:11Speaker 2: It's ten am or here.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah, we brought the energy. No, no, I'm not even
- 26:17Speaker 3: saying it's a bad thing. I'm saying he looks like
- 26:18Speaker 3: somebody that enjoys sleeping in, staying up late. Yes, that
- 26:23Speaker 3: that amount that.
- 26:24Speaker 2: That's a lot of them.
- 26:25Speaker 3: The only time I used to take five hour energies
- 26:28Speaker 3: was before like an old school training camp to a
- 26:30Speaker 3: day practice not to do a mid market sports morning
- 26:37Speaker 3: radio show.
- 26:38Speaker 7: We're ranked number six, so maybe you would.
- 26:40Speaker 2: That's a good morning, but WHOA For most healthy adults,
- 26:43Speaker 2: a daily caffeine limit of up to four hundred milligrams
- 26:48Speaker 2: should be consumed, and.
- 26:49Speaker 3: He did that with one drink. It almost tripled it.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Jesus, that's why he's over here, like, hike your bridges up,
- 26:57Speaker 7: big dog.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Heck, yeah, that's fantastic.
- 27:02Speaker 7: Those are words that he said to me yesterday.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Okay, give us give the listeners some context now. Now,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I think all of our listeners have been introduced to
- 27:10Speaker 2: Chris Marlow Marler. They understand him a little bit more just,
- 27:14Speaker 2: you know, more than just seeing social media or seeing
- 27:16Speaker 2: words that he's written. He's going to sports that net.
- 27:20Speaker 7: So I was talking to Marlar. He was actually in
- 27:22Speaker 7: the office yesterday, which is a rarity, and so I
- 27:26Speaker 7: catch so I went up there to just go talk
- 27:29Speaker 7: with him. And I'll say that like Chris and I
- 27:31Speaker 7: are like pretty good friends. Right, So I'm out there,
- 27:34Speaker 7: we're just talking. I just like pulled my pants up
- 27:38Speaker 7: because they were falling down, and he was like, yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 7: hike your bridges a big dog. I was like, what
- 27:43Speaker 7: did you just.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Say to me what record?
- 27:47Speaker 3: I don't know if it's the Big Big Dog.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Did he like he said it? Did he like pause
- 27:54Speaker 2: with his mouth open?
- 27:54Speaker 7: Like he immediately was like, I don't know why I
- 27:57Speaker 7: said that. He was like, Ali tells me that all
- 27:59Speaker 7: the time. I'm so sorry. And then he called me
- 28:01Speaker 7: yesterday and I missed the call and I said, why
- 28:03Speaker 7: did you call me? He said, I called you to
- 28:05Speaker 7: apologize for my hiker bridges up comment.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Mm hmm, I love it.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Something else.
- 28:20Speaker 7: You're too comfortable with me?
- 28:26Speaker 3: All right, that's some fun. You know, we got to
- 28:30Speaker 3: talk schedule.
- 28:32Speaker 1: We that.
- 28:37Speaker 7: Oh, underneath this sick cane sweater that I have on,
- 28:41Speaker 7: I have a shirt from the regional last season. Hoping
- 28:45Speaker 7: to bring some good juju for a sweep this weekend.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Kind of sweep A sweet sweet.
- 28:53Speaker 7: I'm not even calling for a gentleman's sweep. I'm calling
- 28:56Speaker 7: for a rude sweep.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Both of you have both of you have done this before.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Landra wants an l s U sweep.
- 29:02Speaker 7: Yes, I want an LSU see because you did it.
- 29:05Speaker 2: You did it one time. You did it last week,
- 29:07Speaker 2: saying you wanted to sweep once you got swept over
- 29:12Speaker 2: technically the last three weekends.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's for sure. He's done it twice.
- 29:17Speaker 2: We're going to sweep this weekend weaving yellow shoe and
- 29:22Speaker 2: like we just said, a rude sweep.
- 29:23Speaker 7: Not a gentleman sweep. LSU is going to sweep South
- 29:27Speaker 7: Carolina this weekend.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yep, we're gonna sweep about all right.
- 29:32Speaker 7: There, game ahead of us, but we're gonna do it.
- 29:34Speaker 3: All right. We'll figure out how that gets done when

- 31:11Speaker 1: and Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana sports.
- 31:29Speaker 5: You know all the same. You know you're doing better
- 31:33Speaker 5: on your own, So don't.
- 31:38Speaker 3: This is a one hit wonder. But it feels like
- 31:40Speaker 3: it's not because it's been it's kind of been popular for.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I actually know like and like other Jimmy Eat World songs,
- 31:47Speaker 7: So I don't think it's a one hit wonder. But
- 31:49Speaker 7: it's on the thing you sent me.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I think it's like it had to be like top Yeah, Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 2: is that the parameters were going with. They had multiple
- 31:57Speaker 2: songs of the top one hundred. Yeah, well that's what
- 32:00Speaker 2: or could not have more than one, could not have
- 32:03Speaker 2: more than some good deep cuts. Yeah, it could be
- 32:06Speaker 2: one on one.
- 32:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I went down a uh went down a rabbit
- 32:10Speaker 6: hole after Jake send us out. Found some other ones.
- 32:12Speaker 6: Y'all remember the Click five? Yeah, yeah, it's another big one.
- 32:17Speaker 6: You could have some good songs that didn't make the Hunter,
- 32:18Speaker 6: because obviously.
- 32:21Speaker 2: They did that. Just the girl, She's just the girl.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Look.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I looked like backpack to somebody else. Hunt,
- 32:27Speaker 3: Where are you at? Tell me that's your song? Speaking
- 32:30Speaker 3: of Hunt, he wrote a great article on Louisiana Sports
- 32:34Speaker 3: dot Net Tata, I know you put it in the
- 32:36Speaker 3: in the dock and uh maybe points to why l
- 32:39Speaker 3: s U struggled a little bit on the Diamond.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 6: He brought it up yesterday on the show and I
- 32:43Speaker 6: had to produce for him, and I actually that was
- 32:46Speaker 6: pretty fascinating.
- 32:46Speaker 2: And he had just mentioned that.
- 32:49Speaker 6: Combined William Schmidt and Case and Evans have gone six
- 32:53Speaker 6: innings or more at least six innings and sec play
- 32:57Speaker 6: three times this year. And it was all Case and Evans. Yeah,
- 32:59Speaker 6: Soilliam Schmid has never made it out of the sixth
- 33:02Speaker 6: inning one time this year. For reference, last year, Anthony
- 33:06Speaker 6: Aronson and Kate Anderson at least one of them went
- 33:10Speaker 6: six innings to nine out of ten of the SEC weekends.
- 33:13Speaker 6: You're just putting too much pressure on your bullpen. Like
- 33:15Speaker 6: we talked about it last week going into Mississippi State
- 33:19Speaker 6: against A and M. Your bullpen only gave up five runs. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 6: so like you weren't bad, but you can't rely on
- 33:25Speaker 6: that every single weekend. And then obviously the wheels kind
- 33:27Speaker 6: of fell off this week late in games against State
- 33:30Speaker 6: because you can't rely on that weekend a week out.
- 33:33Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, guys, you got in your rotation six,
- 33:35Speaker 6: like you really trust if two of them are starters
- 33:38Speaker 6: and they're going four innings the rest of your weekend,
- 33:40Speaker 6: you rely on like four or five guys, that's it.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah. And also the problem is you don't have a
- 33:46Speaker 3: third starter right now, like you had three coming into
- 33:50Speaker 3: the year, and you don't have that young player that's
- 33:53Speaker 3: not ready yet but he can at least give you something.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Like there's been times going back a couple of years ago,
- 33:59Speaker 3: Kate Anderson was that young guy. We talked about Coleman
- 34:02Speaker 3: being that guy back in the day. You could say
- 34:05Speaker 3: William Schmidt was a little bit that guy at some
- 34:08Speaker 3: portions of the early portion of last year. Like you,
- 34:11Speaker 3: you knew he wasn't quite ready yet. But if you
- 34:13Speaker 3: need a spot start, he's a starter.
- 34:15Speaker 4: You don't have that.
- 34:16Speaker 3: So when Cooper Moore goes out, you have to do
- 34:19Speaker 3: Johnny Houlstaff. But the problem is after the fifth inning,
- 34:23Speaker 3: that's also been Johnny Hullstaff for two games. So you're
- 34:28Speaker 3: putting a lot of pressure on a bullpen. Let's have
- 34:31Speaker 3: to throw a ton of innings and they've had to
- 34:33Speaker 3: start games. None of that is a good recipe for success.
- 34:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, if your starters went six intings a piece,
- 34:40Speaker 6: you're like, oh, can I get three from Calwhen can
- 34:42Speaker 6: I get two from Guidry Noll? I got eight guys
- 34:45Speaker 6: ready for Sunday, But you don't because you're throwing three
- 34:47Speaker 6: or four guys on Friday end Saturday.
- 34:53Speaker 4: And that's last year.
- 34:54Speaker 3: The formula was, Okay, you get us to this point
- 34:56Speaker 3: case and Evans is gonna come in, He's gonna stop
- 34:58Speaker 3: that game, all right. You get us to this point
- 35:01Speaker 3: Zach Cowen's going to come in. He's going to stop
- 35:03Speaker 3: that game. So no matter what Sunday looked like, no
- 35:06Speaker 3: matter even who would have started the game, you still
- 35:08Speaker 3: would have had everybody available with a fresh arm outside
- 35:13Speaker 3: of four guys. It only took you four guys to
- 35:15Speaker 3: get through two games a year ago. Certainly not the
- 35:19Speaker 3: case this year. And that's part of it.
- 35:21Speaker 4: Now. I'm not saying.
- 35:24Speaker 3: The offense. Certainly we could have a whole conversation, whole
- 35:26Speaker 3: segment on that, but that is very taxing on a
- 35:30Speaker 3: staff when you can't get to a certain point in
- 35:33Speaker 3: the game and their high leverage situation still too. Like
- 35:38Speaker 3: in the Mississippi State series, it wasn't because you were
- 35:40Speaker 3: getting beat by four or you were you know, out
- 35:43Speaker 3: of the game. You were up and then it got close.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It's like, okay, once it gets close, who do we
- 35:48Speaker 3: throw in there? And you know, Shearing looked like that
- 35:50Speaker 3: guy for a while. If he has one bad outing,
- 35:52Speaker 3: which he did, it's like, well, who do you go to?
- 35:56Speaker 3: Because it hasn't been multiple people at the same time
- 36:00Speaker 3: being able to give you that trust factor.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It's kind of a uh, it's tough game and a
- 36:06Speaker 2: little dangerous game to compare. Kind of started out this
- 36:09Speaker 2: conversation with comparing him to Kit Anderson and Anthony hints
- 36:12Speaker 2: and uh, they're doing pretty good so far. Yeah, just
- 36:15Speaker 2: reading what we've kit Anderson's kind of been the popular
- 36:18Speaker 2: guy that's popped up on my timeline a lot to
- 36:23Speaker 2: his first four pro starts zero point four eight e
- 36:26Speaker 2: r A, eighteen innings pitched, thirty strikeouts, Conus Batten one
- 36:31Speaker 2: forty three. But then, like I saw the other day,
- 36:33Speaker 2: how how well Anthony's pitching. Yep, you've seen his stats too, Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 2: about the same sixteen innings, one urn run Yeah, mm hmm,
- 36:50Speaker 2: zero point five four e r A one nine bad
- 36:54Speaker 2: average against them. So like you're comparing this year obviously
- 36:58Speaker 2: to to start last year that are like the top
- 37:01Speaker 2: two prospects and baseball are now pitching, which is it's tough.
- 37:07Speaker 5: To do well.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And also we're talking about the pictures right now. You
- 37:12Speaker 2: don't on the pitcheon you had last year. But Sadil
- 37:14Speaker 2: the devil you were talking about Elandra bro You can't
- 37:17Speaker 2: consistently rely on your bats to bail you out either.
- 37:19Speaker 2: It's the issue you're struggling in both spots.
- 37:22Speaker 7: Well, that I feel like last weekend you could. I mean,
- 37:25Speaker 7: I think last weekend you scored enough runs, you you
- 37:28Speaker 7: did pretty well at the plate. You just blew it
- 37:31Speaker 7: at the end. So I think that this series you
- 37:36Speaker 7: might have the offensive advantage over South Carolina, But then
- 37:42Speaker 7: you did have it versus Mississippi State, you still blew
- 37:45Speaker 7: all those games. So yes, I'm calling for LSU to
- 37:49Speaker 7: sweep South Carolina, but they have to just play smart.
- 37:55Speaker 7: Like last weekend, That's why we lost because you just
- 38:00Speaker 7: were giving up bases and then once you were giving
- 38:04Speaker 7: them the bases, you were letting them put the ball
- 38:06Speaker 7: in play and you were letting them hit grand slams.
- 38:11Speaker 2: But it comes back to what you talked about.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Different teams find different ways to lose, right, Yeah, But
- 38:15Speaker 6: to her point, you hit well against an mn old mess.
- 38:18Speaker 2: You couldn't hit anything. So it's like, when one thing's
- 38:21Speaker 2: working for you, the other things is not.
- 38:23Speaker 7: They haven't really played any complimentary baseball. We talked about
- 38:26Speaker 7: it with Brian Kelly during football season. They weren't playing
- 38:28Speaker 7: complimentary football. Is the same thing.
- 38:31Speaker 3: It's like not just Kate Anderson and Anthony Yins. And
- 38:34Speaker 3: to kind of wrap up this, conversation. But what would
- 38:37Speaker 3: you give for a Chase Shores right now? You know,
- 38:42Speaker 3: and like Chase, his era was not great last year,
- 38:44Speaker 3: but towards the end like he has and you kind
- 38:47Speaker 3: of knew exactly what you were getting.
- 38:50Speaker 4: You would take a Chase Shores right now to start
- 38:53Speaker 4: a game for you.
- 38:54Speaker 2: You got one starting pitcher you've won.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know what the thing with caseon this
- 39:00Speaker 7: weekend is gonna be.
- 39:02Speaker 2: He's gonna a complete game.
- 39:03Speaker 6: Well, so I would love that Jay announced the starters
- 39:07Speaker 6: you got schmid game one, Pop Marcos Pause, Game two,
- 39:10Speaker 6: who started Sunday and TBD for Sunday or game three?
- 39:14Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I hear TBD is salty, so it's gonna be casing.
- 39:19Speaker 7: He just comes out like to the Undertaker music.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he's like slammed this to sweep him out
- 39:25Speaker 2: of the stadium.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 7: I mean, losing your Friday starter when you had already
- 39:31Speaker 7: lost your Saturday starters definitely not ideal when you're trying.
- 39:35Speaker 3: To Uh, I mean you've lost some.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Of your top back.
- 39:39Speaker 7: It's truly just such bad luck.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Bad luck, but there's there's not that good this year.
- 39:46Speaker 6: They're not But like to her point, like even the
- 39:48Speaker 6: bright spots, and like said Dard Dollar finally started to
- 39:51Speaker 6: come around. He was saying a little bit he got hurt.
- 39:53Speaker 6: He's cursed.
- 39:55Speaker 7: No, like we are. I am willing to definitively say
- 39:58Speaker 7: that that guy that was like, I will give up
- 40:00Speaker 7: the baseball season for Lane Kiffin, he cursed us.
- 40:03Speaker 2: No, Jake Brown breaks his hand.
- 40:05Speaker 4: I mean it's I think we need to find that tweet.
- 40:07Speaker 2: L s U just flew too close to the sun
- 40:09Speaker 2: this year.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Somebody's gotta get burned.
- 40:17Speaker 4: I guess at least it was a team that's won
- 40:19Speaker 4: last year.
- 40:21Speaker 7: I guess you're just taking away my joy.
- 40:24Speaker 2: But I mean, like we just I just read the
- 40:26Speaker 2: stats for your two starting pitchers last year. Last year
- 40:28Speaker 2: was pretty sweet.
- 40:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it was always that last season. It
- 40:34Speaker 7: was the best one two punch in the country. I
- 40:37Speaker 7: am willing to say that it is in LSU's baseball history.
- 40:44Speaker 4: I mean, I mean it's I mean, you definitely up
- 40:49Speaker 4: for debate.
- 40:50Speaker 7: Skeens and Floyd were good, but I mean Skeens is
- 40:53Speaker 7: even all Skeens for sure, but.
- 40:55Speaker 6: Then the guys in the middle, they kind of get
- 40:57Speaker 6: forgotten because remember Gage Jump was hurt at the beginning
- 40:59Speaker 6: of the year when he came on.
- 41:01Speaker 2: At the end, Homan and jump. You don't have anybody
- 41:05Speaker 2: this year.
- 41:05Speaker 3: All right, this is making us suppressed. Let's take a
