Alabama Woman Arrested in Stabbing Case | Huntsville News
A 32-year-old woman, Anastassia Cooper, has turned herself in to authorities after nearly a year on the run for the stabbing death of 68-year-old Jeffery Holifield, owner of Cahaba Woodworks. Found dead at his Marion home in November 2025, Holifield was stabbed multiple times. Cooper is now held without bond at Marengo County Jail as her case heads toward a critical Aniah’s Law hearing on September 9th — bringing closure to a long, tense investigation.
