- 3:28Speaker 5: Hi.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I'm Chonsky Robbins. I played a little girl. We liked
- 3:33Speaker 4: a little girl. I mean she was an adult then
- 3:35Speaker 4: and I'm an adult now. I played uh My, beautiful
- 3:40Speaker 4: and sweet. One of my favorite characters have ever played.
- 3:43Speaker 4: I played Linda Boo.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Linda Boo. People people still come up to me and say,
- 3:49Speaker 6: how you and Miss Boo doing? And I gotta tell him, like,
- 3:51Speaker 6: that was a movie, y'all. That was a movie, y'all.
- 3:54Speaker 3: People like chemistry was crazy to ask.
- 3:58Speaker 8: The chemistry was wonderful.
- 4:00Speaker 7: Was there anything happening the scenes?
- 4:04Speaker 5: Two?
- 4:05Speaker 6: You know, you know, I'm gonna go ahead and and
- 4:08Speaker 6: let Miss Boo answer that. You know, listen, God, the
- 4:11Speaker 6: chemistry was there because first of all, we're fantastic actors.
- 4:14Speaker 6: You know, we're both multiple time award winning Oscars. I'm
- 4:19Speaker 6: I'm the Tony away from the Egot.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and you're trying, You're really trying.
- 4:25Speaker 6: I'm trying.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Musicals that I am.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Just with the ego.
- 4:28Speaker 8: You just have the ego.
- 4:30Speaker 6: I just have the ego. I don't have the egot,
- 4:31Speaker 6: but I do have ego. I have ego. Yes, uh no,
- 4:35Speaker 6: you know we you know, nothing was going on behind
- 4:37Speaker 6: the scenes. We were just we were just professional actors,
- 4:40Speaker 6: you know.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we were. We were. I mean, it's it's undeniable,
- 4:44Speaker 4: the chemistry we have. I mean, you like, you're Smith Williams.
- 4:49Speaker 4: You know what I mean, you are undeniably just like
- 4:52Speaker 4: one of the leading men of our screens. But yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 4: you know, I mean, I've moved on in many ways,
- 5:00Speaker 4: so happy to be here.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Happy to be and hey you're chemisky, you are. You're
- 5:05Speaker 6: what everybody wants and what everybody needs.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Hey, chemistry picks right back up right.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It's fun to watch. It's fun to watch. It's like
- 5:15Speaker 3: set again.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Yes, oh my god.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I don't.
- 5:18Speaker 5: You don't have any chemistry. Six months in Vancouver, you
- 5:23Speaker 5: shared a hotel room for two of them.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Oh I was.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I was dating Robin Williams at the time.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember that. I remember that.
- 5:34Speaker 4: So I stayed very faithful to my movie.
- 5:38Speaker 6: And I was dating. I was dating whoopee man, I
- 5:40Speaker 6: was dating WHOOPI golder. You know she was.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember because they both came to set to
- 5:48Speaker 1: pitch all the time.
- 5:50Speaker 2: They would pitch jokes constantly, and I said, you know.
- 5:54Speaker 1: This is you guys, this is kind of a rom com.
- 5:57Speaker 1: We just crank them out right, Yeah, we crank out
- 5:59Speaker 1: a lot of these year were really really really really behind.
- 6:02Speaker 2: We don't have time for this, U gubs.
- 6:03Speaker 5: I could would believe you turned down Woovie Goldberg and
- 6:06Speaker 5: Robin Williams punch of Whoopy.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Goldberg and Robin Williams were such a duo.
- 6:12Speaker 4: They were bouncing off each other.
- 6:14Speaker 1: The chemistry between them, in a comedic way was undeniable.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I unfortunately didn't have any fucking time.
- 6:20Speaker 6: Yeah, if anything, if anything, me and you know, me
- 6:23Speaker 6: and miss Boo here we were just getting together of
- 6:27Speaker 6: jealousy because our significant others were so undeniable off screen
- 6:32Speaker 6: that we hadn't you know, I.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Mean we did do that. One we went to I
- 6:36Speaker 4: mean we went to like the hit like there was
- 6:38Speaker 4: like a like a hills like it was like really
- 6:41Speaker 4: like residential, like we're in like a residential area of Vancouver.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I remember, and I remember that there was one night
- 6:49Speaker 4: at the Marriott that me, Smith Williams, whoopee and Robin
- 6:55Speaker 4: had a couple bottles of cab and it did get
- 6:58Speaker 4: it got like. So that's why I'll say I've never
- 7:00Speaker 4: been with Smith Williams alone.
- 7:02Speaker 3: That's all.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Yes, Yes, you know, never never alone, always in pairs.
- 7:07Speaker 6: You know, that's what we That's what we always used
- 7:08Speaker 6: to say on set. You know, never alone, always in pairs.
- 7:12Speaker 3: You guys are great, guys are great together. I miss
- 7:15Speaker 3: you guys together. I really thought you guys were going
- 7:18Speaker 3: to get care.
- 7:20Speaker 6: Oh you know, no, we haven't seen each other in
- 7:22Speaker 6: twenty years years.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Who's next?
- 7:29Speaker 6: Yes, get off of us, guys. You guys will always
- 7:32Speaker 6: put it on us. You always will talk about us.
- 7:34Speaker 6: This is an ensemble. Can I just say yes? Can
- 7:37Speaker 6: I just say? You know, people come up to me
- 7:40Speaker 6: and ask because I've been in so many things. You know,
- 7:42Speaker 6: I'm in the mc U.
- 7:43Speaker 8: Now, Yes, what's your character's name?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Oh you're the panhandler.
- 7:49Speaker 6: I'm the panhandler. Yeah, coming out?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Who's straw? Straw?
- 7:54Speaker 6: Straw was my character in the DCEU. Yeah, yeah, that's
- 7:59Speaker 6: the that's the the DC universe.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Straw is the character that goes that, that's your last
- 8:06Speaker 3: Straw and then kills him right, Yeah, yeah.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I do a d C and an MC at the
- 8:12Speaker 2: same time.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Yes, yes, yes you can, Yes you can. They you
- 8:17Speaker 6: know they don't like it. Yeah, they don't like it,
- 8:19Speaker 6: but yes you can. Yes, as a matter of fact,
- 8:22Speaker 6: you should.
- 8:23Speaker 3: You should.
- 8:23Speaker 6: You can write for the m c U and the
- 8:25Speaker 6: d CU at the same time too.
- 8:27Speaker 1: That's not what I've heard, but I continue.
- 8:31Speaker 5: I have a friend who did my good friend Joss Whedon.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Oh, I love Jos.
- 8:37Speaker 8: I did Josh. Who doesn't love Joss? Regitated if you
- 8:40Speaker 8: don't love Joss on this?
- 8:42Speaker 4: I love Joss.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Yes you did date Joss? What? What? What a whirlwind?
- 8:48Speaker 6: What a whirlwind?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Uh?
- 8:50Speaker 6: But like I was saying, people come up to me
- 8:51Speaker 6: and ask me all the time, you'll Smith Smith, Like,
- 8:54Speaker 6: I've heard so many stories because by all accounts, you know,
- 8:57Speaker 6: this was most of our first big movie these uh yeah,
- 9:01Speaker 6: and super successful nine hundred million dollars uh worldwide?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Is that's that's up there?
- 9:09Speaker 6: You know?
- 9:10Speaker 3: This is Avatar had to beat us.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Yeah, they say there's Titanic, Avatar and Professor Love.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but that was that was a terrible day for
- 9:21Speaker 3: me when when Avatar finally passed us, that.
- 9:24Speaker 6: Was That was rough for me too, and and you
- 9:27Speaker 6: know it was bullshit because they had three D. You know,
- 9:30Speaker 6: they had inflated ticket prices. We didn't have a three D.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I cannot imagine the profits we would have made if
- 9:35Speaker 1: we had done this wrong common three D.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It'd be unbelievable. It would be unbelievable.
- 9:39Speaker 6: It'd be unbelievable. And maybe we should do a sequel
- 9:42Speaker 6: in three D.
- 9:44Speaker 8: It'd be a horror film. But my nose, it would
- 9:47Speaker 8: be a horror film.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You two have a big nose. You have amy.
- 9:53Speaker 5: How did you you're the one who wrote and directed
- 9:57Speaker 5: the film? Can you tell us why this became such
- 10:00Speaker 5: a massive success? I mean, what're so on the inside?
- 10:04Speaker 5: How did it happen?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Well, you know, uh, not to be too you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: flippant about the industry and how it works. This is
- 10:14Speaker 1: what we call a formula movie, right, A plus B
- 10:18Speaker 1: equal C. Okay, and you really just you slot in
- 10:21Speaker 1: the blanks making a rom com. Between two thousand and
- 10:25Speaker 1: twenty ten, it was like mad libs. Okay, you take
- 10:28Speaker 1: a down. That's the profession. You put an adjective in
- 10:31Speaker 1: there and you reverse what's going on. They're an expert
- 10:35Speaker 1: on love, but they can't fall in love themselves. It's
- 10:38Speaker 1: a tale as old as time. It's a tale as
- 10:41Speaker 1: old as about nineteen ninety eight, and it's one we
- 10:43Speaker 1: kept telling because, oh my god, the money we made.
- 10:48Speaker 1: The money we made was unbelievable. And you guys want
- 10:52Speaker 1: to know why I'm so stressed all the time. It's
- 10:54Speaker 1: because I can't figure out where to hide it. I
- 10:56Speaker 1: don't know where to put it.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Really, are you still making numbers like that? Are you
- 11:00Speaker 4: still making big numbers like that?
- 11:01Speaker 1: I mean I I They're they're replaying them on on
- 11:04Speaker 1: TBS all the time, you know, four hour showings, all
- 11:07Speaker 1: these commercial yeah schedule, We're I am drowning in it.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And people say, oh, give it to charity. That's another
- 11:15Speaker 1: thing to put on my list. Which charity is a
- 11:17Speaker 1: good bundy to.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Give it to? Where do I?
- 11:20Speaker 2: I've filled up seventeen closets of.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Cash and there.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I insisted.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Have you heard of a bank? It's there's a really
- 11:30Speaker 3: easy place to keep all money and it's called a bank.
- 11:35Speaker 6: Central time we've been having this, We've been having this
- 11:38Speaker 6: conversation for how long now?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Man, We've been having a conversation.
- 11:42Speaker 2: You guys have been rising me about this for a long.
- 11:44Speaker 6: You can use a credit you can use a credit union.
- 11:47Speaker 2: No, it's in my rid. It's only cash.
- 11:49Speaker 1: So they have to they send a p a of
- 11:52Speaker 1: They send a p a over with suitcases every once
- 11:54Speaker 1: in a while, just suitcases full of cash.
- 11:58Speaker 2: It's a it's a strug for sure.
- 12:00Speaker 6: You made us all use cash on set too, and
- 12:02Speaker 6: it was hard, you know, like when we would need
- 12:05Speaker 6: things or remember we had to film uh in the
- 12:08Speaker 6: Hudson River and we had to pay the city in
- 12:10Speaker 6: New York.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Yeah, for that scene where you saved me. That was
- 12:14Speaker 3: so fun. Yes, and your line.
- 12:19Speaker 5: I love the one line in the Hudson Bay when
- 12:21Speaker 5: you did the line.
- 12:22Speaker 8: You do it again for us?
- 12:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, sure, sure do you guys want to
- 12:26Speaker 3: set the scene a little bit and say so.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah Smith Smith.
- 12:32Speaker 6: So we were we were in the rowboat. We were
- 12:34Speaker 6: in the rowboat and we were rowing away, and you know,
- 12:38Speaker 6: we were right in the middle of the Hudson River.
- 12:40Speaker 6: And I was trying to tell you quiet boy, which
- 12:45Speaker 6: is remarkable that you didn't have a name, but quiet
- 12:48Speaker 6: boy was your name, uh in the movie. But I
- 12:50Speaker 6: was like, quiet boy, you gotta you gotta speak up.
- 12:53Speaker 6: You gotta stop being so quiet, and you gotta also
- 12:57Speaker 6: you gotta also have confidence. And I got three inches
- 12:59Speaker 6: away from your face and I said, what do you
- 13:02Speaker 6: feel like doing right now? And you just jumped out
- 13:04Speaker 6: of out the boat and you couldn't swim. So I
- 13:07Speaker 6: was like, what are you doing?
- 13:09Speaker 3: Quiet boy? What are you not swim boy?
- 13:11Speaker 6: And you were drowning and then you delivered your famous line,
- 13:15Speaker 6: which was help me, I'm drowning, and the rest so solid.
- 13:20Speaker 6: It's so you still got it, my son, You still
- 13:24Speaker 6: still got.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I mean sorry, it was just for me. It was
- 13:30Speaker 3: just such a magical time filming.
- 13:31Speaker 6: You know.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I was like seventeen, like brand new to Hollywood, and
- 13:34Speaker 3: I was just so excited to be a part of
- 13:36Speaker 3: this big thing. And and I really feel like Smith,
- 13:39Speaker 3: like you put me under your wing, and like even
- 13:41Speaker 3: though it was like a movie, I feel like I
- 13:43Speaker 3: learned a lot from you, and like, like I I
- 13:45Speaker 3: gotta give you like mad props because like because like
- 13:50Speaker 3: because like I feel, yeah, no problem, you can drink.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I just feel like I am the person I am
- 14:01Speaker 3: because of you in that movie.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Wow, It's okay. Take you in Haler Wow, there you go.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And you know, I would thanks Jorgeyankie, like to apologize
- 14:18Speaker 1: real quick for the character's name was not supposed to
- 14:21Speaker 1: be quiet Boy. That's an archetype in the mad libs
- 14:25Speaker 1: that were supposed to find and replace in the script,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and I forgot to do that. I forgot to do
- 14:29Speaker 1: that before it went to the actual before the script
- 14:32Speaker 1: was locked, and so uh, it was gonna be fucking you.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Know, Carl or Mike or Tom.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Or something something like that. But unfortunately it was Quiet Boy.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Nobody called me on it because we're moving too fast.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I'm a very similar thing happened with my character. It
- 14:48Speaker 4: was actually Linda Boobies, and it was very obvious, like like, oh,
- 14:53Speaker 4: like this is her for her Booby.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that was shorthand in the early two thousands.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you guy, and the you get some.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Knockers, you get a Linda Boobies casting a Linda Boobies
- 15:03Speaker 3: for not.
- 15:03Speaker 5: To speak for John Yenki, but I would say that's
- 15:06Speaker 5: a happy accident considering the chain of Quiet Well restaurants
- 15:10Speaker 5: that popped up that John Yenki was involved with. I mean,
- 15:14Speaker 5: I've I've certainly taken my family to the Quiet boy
- 15:17Speaker 5: at the city Walk.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Isn't it great?
- 15:19Speaker 6: It's great, It's great, and they are amazing.
- 15:23Speaker 3: There's so quiet. Poe boys. They just put a little
- 15:25Speaker 3: less boy.
- 15:27Speaker 6: And that little pink mascot with the claws that you
- 15:30Speaker 6: have outside.
- 15:31Speaker 5: So the shrimp at the bottom of the Hudson Bay.
- 15:35Speaker 4: This seafood is out of control.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The I'm drowning burger, yeah, covered in sauce covered, It's
- 15:42Speaker 3: just like a sloppy wet ham.
- 15:45Speaker 5: I've seen a wet burrito and I've never seen a
- 15:47Speaker 5: wet burger. It was really impressive.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I gotta ask, have you been able to get your
- 15:51Speaker 1: health great up from a sea to uh to a
- 15:54Speaker 1: B or an a yet?
- 15:55Speaker 3: No?
- 15:56Speaker 6: No, And that's why it's so good. We all know
- 15:59Speaker 6: the best restaurant in l as and bees.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you got a D. You gotta d.
- 16:06Speaker 6: That's the good food.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That's also what we would.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Say about the boobies and the mad lip. It was like,
- 16:12Speaker 1: gonna have to be for beat w a D. Right,
- 16:14Speaker 1: we couldn't have any a's because that's that doesn't make money.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And I'm so glad Linda Boo that.
- 16:19Speaker 1: You were able to come in with. I mean, you
- 16:23Speaker 1: were a fantastic actor. You also were just like this
- 16:26Speaker 1: knockout and you're modeling.
- 16:28Speaker 3: History so hot, so hot.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I had to give you props for being so hot
- 16:33Speaker 2: in this movie.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Uh.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Do you think it was hard to transition from modeling
- 16:37Speaker 2: to acting?
- 16:39Speaker 4: No? No, not one bet, not one bit and the slightest.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Uh.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I go into things blindly. I I've never had a
- 16:46Speaker 4: problem with learning.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Uh.
- 16:50Speaker 4: A lot of people say that if you're more symmetrical
- 16:52Speaker 4: in life, things somehow have a quirky way of working
- 16:55Speaker 4: out for you. And I'd say that's.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Pretty coore how that happens.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, but uh, I mean I'm so blessed now
- 17:06Speaker 4: to like just have such a fruitful career. I mean,
- 17:08Speaker 4: I'm working on The Crown season twelve, and it has.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Do you play the Crown?
- 17:17Speaker 4: Yeah, so I'm playing. So once they passed the present
- 17:21Speaker 4: day of the royal family, they ran into a they
- 17:24Speaker 4: ran into a wall where they're gon, we have to
- 17:26Speaker 4: keep going.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 4: So so now we are, we're we're talking about the objects,
- 17:32Speaker 4: and we're talking about the objects that are in that
- 17:35Speaker 4: castle and we are inhabiting.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I'm glad they're diving back into the objects because season eleven,
- 17:40Speaker 5: when they projected the alien fight.
- 17:45Speaker 3: I thought was very weirdly weird.
- 17:47Speaker 6: It was really weird. It was real. But you know,
- 17:49Speaker 6: and listen, it's season twelve yet because I I you know,
- 17:53Speaker 6: I read the script for.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Of course you did Smith William, Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You know that were you gonna are you gonna be
- 17:59Speaker 3: in it? Or do you just like reading it again?
- 18:02Speaker 3: Were it? Or do you just like reading it?
- 18:04Speaker 6: It was just it just happened to be laying on
- 18:06Speaker 6: a night stand.
- 18:08Speaker 8: Why would nightstand? Why would it be on your night stand?
- 18:12Speaker 8: If it was.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Like, let's let's move on, let's move I did read
- 18:18Speaker 4: a rumor that you live above C A A. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 4: things just like you know scripts.
- 18:26Speaker 6: So you know, you know the building, you know, like
- 18:28Speaker 6: it has the big hole in the middle of the building.
- 18:33Speaker 4: I got dinner in that hole.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I thought that was a mistake. I think it was
- 18:38Speaker 3: a mistake in the design of that building.
- 18:40Speaker 6: That is that is own purpose, that his own purpose.
- 18:44Speaker 6: I live and I live in the three glasses right
- 18:47Speaker 6: across the middle of that hole, right above it, right
- 18:50Speaker 6: above it. Yeah, That's where I'm at. So you know,
- 18:52Speaker 6: I see all the scripts, uh.
- 18:54Speaker 4: With C A A Or is this just a coincidence.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Oh no, no, no, I'm not with c A. They
- 18:58Speaker 6: won't know I'm not. They won't sign you, they won't
- 19:01Speaker 6: sign me. They won't sign me, which is weird because
- 19:03Speaker 6: I'm an ego. I'm an ego.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Speaking of can can we talk about your plays that
- 19:08Speaker 3: are coming out? Some of your musicals that you were recently?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I went to go see them all every
- 19:14Speaker 3: single time you and I just loved them and I loved.
- 19:17Speaker 6: What was your favorite? What was your favorite play that
- 19:18Speaker 6: you went to go see?
- 19:20Speaker 3: Probably Dancing Pants. I love Dancing Pants and I thought
- 19:23Speaker 3: it was dancing so good and so gripping, Like what
- 19:25Speaker 3: a harrowing story about? Yeah, yeah, go ahead if it's
- 19:29Speaker 3: your story, so you can tell.
- 19:30Speaker 6: I mean, no, listen, well, look, I will probably say
- 19:34Speaker 6: ever since professor loved dancing Pants, was probably my favorite
- 19:37Speaker 6: time with an ensemble.
- 19:39Speaker 9: Uh.
- 19:40Speaker 6: And of course, for those of y'all who haven't seen
- 19:42Speaker 6: Dancing Pants out there, also, first of all, why did
- 19:45Speaker 6: you come to say hi to me after the show?
- 19:47Speaker 3: I thought you forgot who I was. Oh, of course
- 19:50Speaker 3: not man.
- 19:51Speaker 6: But anyway, dancing Pants' is the heroin story okay, kind
- 19:56Speaker 6: of like the Crown season twelve, where it's about the objects,
- 20:00Speaker 6: is about the objects, and the pants come alive and
- 20:03Speaker 6: I play I play brown pants because you know I'm brown,
- 20:11Speaker 6: I'm a black man, and I wait, I didn't wait,
- 20:14Speaker 6: Oh you knew I was black.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I didn't know.
- 20:17Speaker 8: I don't talk like that kind of stuff.
- 20:20Speaker 6: That's true. You would always in two thousand and four
- 20:23Speaker 6: when we were filming this you and right after Obama
- 20:26Speaker 6: gave that speech, he refused to talk politics with us
- 20:30Speaker 6: or color.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Talk politics with color.
- 20:33Speaker 8: I don't talk about that kind of stuff.
- 20:35Speaker 6: That's fine, that's fine. But yeah, brown pants, you know
- 20:38Speaker 6: a story about pants who who wants to leave the
- 20:43Speaker 6: butts of the poor and get to the butts of
- 20:45Speaker 6: the rich. And just a lot of great songs in there.
- 20:48Speaker 6: My favorite was no More Putin on Me and.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Such a good song. So you killed it when you
- 20:56Speaker 3: first say, God, I was this is good, so dramatic,
- 21:00Speaker 3: such a traumatic song.
- 21:03Speaker 4: By Also an incredible performance by Liam Michelle.
- 21:06Speaker 6: She was great. She's a little bit of an asshole,
- 21:10Speaker 6: she is.
- 21:12Speaker 3: She played she played the uh, the blue blouse, right.
- 21:16Speaker 6: Yeah, she played the blue blouse. She played the blue blouse.
- 21:21Speaker 6: And you know, very talented, very talented, the chemistry wasn't
- 21:24Speaker 6: there like it was, you know with me and me
- 21:27Speaker 6: and Sea over here.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Uh, you don't know, raging foursome with her?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 21:36Speaker 4: I mean, I just want to say this. You guys
- 21:39Speaker 4: keep talking about our chemistry, and I'm just gonna address it.
- 21:41Speaker 4: There was one night where Me, Smith, Williams, will Be
- 21:44Speaker 4: Goldberg and Robin Williams all eight each other's ass and
- 21:47Speaker 4: it was the best night of our lives.
- 21:49Speaker 3: And that two thousand and five.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Was two thousand and five. It was a long night too,
- 21:57Speaker 6: A long night.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Is this the night before we filmed that once seen
- 22:02Speaker 3: in the Apple Orchard? Because I was wondering why things
- 22:05Speaker 3: were so weird on the apple orchard? Like that was
- 22:10Speaker 3: was it?
- 22:10Speaker 1: We had to freeze production for two days because everything
- 22:12Speaker 1: felt so weird. Yea had the whole production because the
- 22:17Speaker 1: vibes were weird.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Well, you just orgy that they could do anything.
- 22:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it's hard to it's hard to focus when you
- 22:23Speaker 6: haven't orgy that good woop Goldberg. I mean, come on, listen,
- 22:27Speaker 6: that was the first time I slept with wood Bee.
- 22:30Speaker 3: That's that.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Yeah, she would.
- 22:37Speaker 8: Secrets.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Hey, what are you the secrets?
- 22:39Speaker 5: Right?
- 22:42Speaker 4: You guys wouldn't shout up about our chemistry.
- 22:43Speaker 3: So I.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Thank you, see thank you, see God you all right?
- 22:49Speaker 6: You had the age now where you could be having
- 22:51Speaker 6: a heart.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Attack clutching her.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Do we have a metal He's clutching his shoulder, which
- 22:57Speaker 4: means it's definitely a heart attack.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Years Why are you? Why is this shocking? Tea?
- 23:07Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:07Speaker 3: Why are you.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Thinking about this?
- 23:11Speaker 8: For twenty years? I thought this was I thought this
- 23:15Speaker 8: wasn't It wasn't.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Happening to be so casually reveal, it's a lot for
- 23:21Speaker 5: me to kind of restructure, to see people by.
- 23:25Speaker 8: How they've who they've slept with.
- 23:27Speaker 5: That's how I.
- 23:28Speaker 3: See other people.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Well, that's simply not your business, Michael. It's simply that's not.
- 23:32Speaker 2: A healthy way to live your life. That's not a
- 23:34Speaker 2: healthy way to live your life.
- 23:35Speaker 8: I started, You think I know how to live my
- 23:37Speaker 8: life healthy?
- 23:38Speaker 6: You think I know.
- 23:41Speaker 1: The only question you ever Actually looking back, this makes
- 23:44Speaker 1: sense because the only time you ever asked me about
- 23:46Speaker 1: my life was when I was sleeping with Danica Patrick.
- 23:49Speaker 4: And that was it.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Oh, the only thing you ever cared to talk about was.
- 23:54Speaker 5: That, Oh I love her.
- 23:56Speaker 4: You don't care that I'm.
- 23:57Speaker 1: A mother, that I like hiking that, I like long
- 24:01Speaker 1: long walks on the beach.
- 24:03Speaker 2: None of that matters to you. It's just who are
- 24:05Speaker 2: you sleeping with?
- 24:06Speaker 5: Look, I'm a little gossip bitch. Okay, Dots, who cares.
- 24:11Speaker 5: We all have our interests. Quiet boy, you make restaurants.
- 24:14Speaker 5: I love gossip. It's what got me here. I'm a lonely, weird, old,
- 24:19Speaker 5: big nosed man.
- 24:21Speaker 3: That's true.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Okay, but you know what, But can I say one thing?
- 24:25Speaker 6: You acted the hell out of that Dean.
- 24:27Speaker 9: Roll such a good villa, you know, being Dean being
- 24:33Speaker 9: Dean Hate, which is one of my favorite roles I've
- 24:37Speaker 9: ever played.
- 24:38Speaker 5: It was really exciting because I got to be someone
- 24:43Speaker 5: who wanted down with Love, who is trying to cancel
- 24:46Speaker 5: your class, who was trying to mandate that nobody else
- 24:50Speaker 5: in college could date each other.
- 24:53Speaker 8: It was really really.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Fun because I you know, I think it's that's a
- 24:58Speaker 5: fun character, you know, to be so against what is
- 25:02Speaker 5: kind of normal.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Well, actually, I kind of like wanted to talk about this.
- 25:07Speaker 3: That's one of my favorite scenes of all time in
- 25:10Speaker 3: any movie ever, Like the big kind of like first
- 25:13Speaker 3: confrontation between Professor Love and Dean Hate, and like I
- 25:17Speaker 3: wanted to roll a clip. If that's cool, if we
- 25:19Speaker 3: could just like revisit that and just talk about like
- 25:21Speaker 3: what was going through your guys's actors process for this
- 25:23Speaker 3: day's see it date.
- 25:29Speaker 6: My office, I'm here, I'm right here now listen. I'm
- 25:33Speaker 6: up here, and I'm trying to teach these kids about love.
- 25:36Speaker 6: I'm trying to teach these kids how to connect with people.
- 25:39Speaker 6: And you want me to teach a class in my
- 25:42Speaker 6: love course about why you should use teeth in oral sex.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Yes, it's the way we want people to act.
- 25:52Speaker 8: Here in college.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Love is overrated, Johan.
- 25:57Speaker 8: Love is wrong. Love leads to pain.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Uh huh. And your answer to that is to teach
- 26:07Speaker 6: a ridiculous lesson.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Teach them to have sex bad. I'll be in the
- 26:12Speaker 5: back of class if you don't teach vaginas to be
- 26:15Speaker 5: dry and penis is to be flaccid, and buttholes to
- 26:19Speaker 5: be closed and mouths to be stinky.
- 26:24Speaker 6: I'm not gonna do that because I'm doctor Professor Johann Love,
- 26:30Speaker 6: and I teach people the real way to love. I
- 26:33Speaker 6: teach love like it should be taught because that's what
- 26:38Speaker 6: I do.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Let me teach you the way to the door, because
- 26:42Speaker 5: you're fired, Johann. If you step another day in this classroom,
- 26:47Speaker 5: you're never gonna see your kids again.
- 26:50Speaker 2: So I got a lot of questions about that line.
- 26:52Speaker 3: And wrote it rewatching it. The script was crazy choices
- 26:59Speaker 3: for tooth that five that in order to show hate,
- 27:03Speaker 3: he was gonna treat teach kids bad sex.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a I got a lot of questions
- 27:09Speaker 1: about that. I mean, the long answer is that it's
- 27:12Speaker 1: a representation of how sex and love is evolved. And
- 27:15Speaker 1: the short answer is, uh, I wrote a real rough draft,
- 27:19Speaker 1: mixed up the files again.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It's a fine and replaced situation.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You know, when you write a bad monologue just to
- 27:25Speaker 1: like get the good, just to get it out, just
- 27:27Speaker 1: to get it out there. And then you and then
- 27:29Speaker 1: you put a post a note on it that says
- 27:31Speaker 1: replace later. And I didn't replace it. I didn't replace it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I didn't have time. But it became this whole forefront
- 27:39Speaker 1: of this movement of all these people who you know,
- 27:43Speaker 1: we have we have this this sort of like casual
- 27:46Speaker 1: sex movement emerge like a few years later, and they
- 27:50Speaker 1: were really using the Dean speech as fuel to their fire.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Yes to be you know, we should be using teeth.
- 28:00Speaker 4: The opening of like a Kanye West song, it is yeah, you.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Do sample that. They do sample that.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Yeah, Kanye West, LOOPEI Fiasco and Shakira they did the
- 28:11Speaker 5: song together and they for.
- 28:13Speaker 3: The Winter Olympics, right, yeah, for the Winter Olympics.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Yeah, six Winter Olympics. And they use that similar to
- 28:22Speaker 6: how you know Jay Z and Kanye use Will Ferrell
- 28:25Speaker 6: in the beginning of Niggas in Paris, they use yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 6: yeah yeah, and you know what, It's lived on an infamy.
- 28:32Speaker 6: Everybody loves it.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Everybody so popular.
- 28:36Speaker 8: I got an.
- 28:37Speaker 5: MTV Movie Award for my role in this film and
- 28:42Speaker 5: it is the.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Only thing on my mante this Wow.
- 28:46Speaker 6: Wow. That was my first award to an MTV Movie
- 28:48Speaker 6: Award for this movie. Best Kiss.

- 29:13Speaker 4: Okay, you're so happy. Okay, So this.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Scene is Professor Johann Love has realized finally how to
- 29:28Speaker 1: teach himself to love, and he is sitting with Linda
- 29:33Speaker 1: Boobies and uh.
- 29:35Speaker 4: We changed it to Linda Boo please please.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Sorry, sorry, I still the first draft in my head.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Uh So Linda Boo and Professor are in his office
- 29:45Speaker 1: and he's finally going to go in for it for
- 29:48Speaker 1: the first time.
- 29:49Speaker 2: So, uh, let's.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Roll that clip.
- 29:52Speaker 6: Linda. It's taking me year kindergarten through eighth grade, high
- 30:00Speaker 6: school through high school, freshman year through senior year, graduate school,
- 30:06Speaker 6: master school, teacher's assistant, uh, substitute teacher, my own high
- 30:15Speaker 6: school course, and now here at this beautiful, beautiful university
- 30:21Speaker 6: to learn that I've been teaching the wrong thing all along.
- 30:26Speaker 6: Love is not what you find in the book.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Love is what you find in your heart.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Wait what were you saying? I had my iPod nano
- 30:34Speaker 4: headphones in.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Oh girl, this is why I love you. Just go
- 30:40Speaker 6: ahead and get me some of the luscious you love me.
- 30:44Speaker 6: I do, and it's taking me so long.
- 30:47Speaker 4: Kiss me beneath the mill.
- 30:50Speaker 3: To admit this out on the moon.
- 30:56Speaker 4: About the best part about making that feeling not seen.
- 31:00Speaker 3: We didn't get to the kiss part. We didn't get
- 31:02Speaker 3: to the kiss part. Let's see the kiss.
- 31:07Speaker 6: Sorry, we need to see it.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Okay, we need to see it.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I think I think he's gonna zoom out of his
- 31:12Speaker 1: chair if we don't do it.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So let's just let's just play.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Miss What would you say if I put my hand
- 31:21Speaker 6: on your face to mine?

- 33:23Speaker 4: We brought Whoopee, we brought Robin.
- 33:26Speaker 8: I shared, I shared a coke with Laura Bush.
- 33:29Speaker 3: At Colin Powell is actually so funny. He's so funny,
- 33:35Speaker 3: let me tell you all.
- 33:37Speaker 6: A lot of people have a lot of people have
- 33:40Speaker 6: complimented me on my acting, A lot of people have.
- 33:42Speaker 6: I've worked with a lot of great actors too that
- 33:44Speaker 6: have said, boy, you got it. But nothing filled me
- 33:47Speaker 6: up with such joy than when Dick Cheney said, hey,
- 33:50Speaker 6: I wouldn't shoot your performance with nothing.
- 33:53Speaker 3: And this was before he shot anybody.
- 33:55Speaker 6: And this is before he shot anybody.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I don't know what it meant, was dropping hints. He
- 33:59Speaker 2: was dropping hints for.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Time that she was.
- 34:03Speaker 4: For the listeners. These inaugural parties are unlike any other party.
- 34:06Speaker 4: They're so different and it really lets everyone just like
- 34:10Speaker 4: feel non ambitions and they just like tell you their
- 34:12Speaker 4: secrets and tell you what they think.
- 34:14Speaker 3: It was.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Condaz the rice told me so so crazy she was.
- 34:19Speaker 3: She's an open wine bottle that night.
- 34:21Speaker 6: Spill what Connie say? What Condy said?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Well, she she said that she sort of had this
- 34:28Speaker 1: this guy that she pays to come in and then
- 34:31Speaker 1: do all her dishes for and then leave, and it's
- 34:34Speaker 1: a sex thing for her.
- 34:37Speaker 6: That crazy, that's crazy.
- 34:38Speaker 3: You know what.
- 34:39Speaker 8: I had a really crazy experience. I played cornhole with
- 34:44Speaker 8: Donald Rumsfeldt.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Wow, and did you win?
- 34:49Speaker 9: No?
- 34:49Speaker 3: No?
- 34:50Speaker 5: He kicked my a. He kicked it, kicked it out.
- 34:54Speaker 3: He say, ass, Still, how old are you now? By

- 37:51Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 37:59Speaker 4: If we could just hold interviews so Michael could google this,
- 38:02Speaker 4: that'd be really.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Let's let's make sure we nail this down Smith.
- 38:06Speaker 1: It was.
- 38:08Speaker 5: It was eight years ago, fourteen.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I say you countless emails in twenty fourteen.
- 38:16Speaker 6: I was living my monk life. Oh for that, for
- 38:22Speaker 6: that movie, for that movie Slash on.
- 38:24Speaker 4: The top of the UTA building.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Right on top of the UTA building.
- 38:27Speaker 6: I was living the monk life and love that I
- 38:31Speaker 6: learned Monk was monked up is what I won my
- 38:35Speaker 6: oscar for.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Oh my god, that was so late. I was like,
- 38:40Speaker 4: come on, give Smith Williams an oscar already.
- 38:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I can't believe Robert.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Doll I am.
- 38:47Speaker 4: I emailed you all the.
- 38:48Speaker 6: Times we all four had sex, and I don't know.
- 38:51Speaker 4: All the times one I know, but i'd BC seed whoopee,
- 38:57Speaker 4: and I said, let's get the gang back together, and
- 38:58Speaker 4: nobody replied. And I was mortified.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Mortified, you BCC a group chat.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Maybe that's the problem. Nobody else knew who you're talking about.
- 39:07Speaker 4: No, I like to be I like to be see everything.
- 39:10Speaker 4: I was mortified.
- 39:11Speaker 6: Hold on, let me look at my email real quick.
- 39:14Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'll see that. I see it right here.
- 39:17Speaker 6: I didn't. Yeah, I didn't know who you were talking about.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Now I get it. I do know that you went
- 39:23Speaker 4: on that monk retreat, So I forgive you. No, I'm sorry.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Well there goes the foursome.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, well the.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Fab for is what they called us, the fab for?
- 39:37Speaker 3: Who's the people watching?
- 39:40Speaker 8: The people got to watch?
- 39:47Speaker 9: All right?
- 39:47Speaker 2: I'm taking the silence as a yes.
- 39:51Speaker 4: I feel I just feel disrespectful talking about it now
- 39:53Speaker 4: without Robin here.
- 39:54Speaker 6: So yeah, we can't talk about this?
- 39:56Speaker 3: Can we can we watch another clip? Please? Can we?
- 39:58Speaker 3: Can we please just watch another clip? Can I can? I?
- 40:00Speaker 6: I want to say, you know, we've all we've all
- 40:04Speaker 6: been talking about my performance, Mike's performance. We got to
- 40:08Speaker 6: see you got to see you know, the line of
- 40:10Speaker 6: a century, little Boiet boy here, but miss Boo, honestly,
- 40:14Speaker 6: you know the scene that everybody loves, the scene dance class,
- 40:21Speaker 6: the dance class scene, the dance class scene where you
- 40:26Speaker 6: gave when many people were calling the viola Davis offenses
- 40:31Speaker 6: type monologue.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And this is before she.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Even did it.
- 40:36Speaker 3: It was such a turn in the whole script. It
- 40:39Speaker 3: just became so dramatic and so powerful for just a second.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Wow, you so much not in the genre of a
- 40:45Speaker 4: rom com, and that's why I have to give it
- 40:47Speaker 4: right back to Amy. I mean, I.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Defied the mad libs for this one, you know, because
- 40:53Speaker 1: there was.
- 40:53Speaker 2: A space in there.
- 40:55Speaker 1: And you know, in all these movies, uh, you know,
- 40:58Speaker 1: we try to give the girls some thing to say
- 41:01Speaker 1: at some point for like a little while, and.
- 41:05Speaker 6: This pass the Bechdale test.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I just want to say that it's and it's because
- 41:09Speaker 1: of this monologue right here.
- 41:11Speaker 4: And he's got it all done in one scene.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I got it all done scene because you know, you
- 41:16Speaker 1: start to feel a little guilty just using women just
- 41:19Speaker 1: for their boobs in all these movies and they say
- 41:22Speaker 1: a couple things and and then you get to wipe
- 41:24Speaker 1: your hands and go, oh, that's a character. Well, this
- 41:28Speaker 1: time around, I thought, you know what, maybe I'll take
- 41:31Speaker 1: some time. Maybe I'll give her some hobbies and some
- 41:34Speaker 1: interests and some really really really strong feelings about astrology.
- 41:40Speaker 1: So this all culminated in this very dramatic monologue when
- 41:45Speaker 1: she's teaching a dance class after Johann Love and her
- 41:48Speaker 1: have had this explosive fight in the school cafeteria.
- 41:52Speaker 2: So why don't we roll that clip here?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Let's roll the clip, Teach, teach, I can't do any more, piroetes.
- 42:00Speaker 4: It's backside front, backside front.
- 42:03Speaker 8: You got that.
- 42:05Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just the I'm not feeling very dancy.
- 42:09Speaker 4: You're not feeling very dancy. You aren't feeling very fucking dancy.
- 42:17Speaker 4: I'll tell you what.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I'm not feeling.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Very fucking I have tons of hobbies. I play basketball,
- 42:24Speaker 4: I play football, I paint, I play soccer. And I
- 42:31Speaker 4: believe that I am the purest form of a lead
- 42:33Speaker 4: brother there ever was. And sure that makes me an arizone.
- 42:37Speaker 4: It makes me not understand love, but I love love, and.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I will not fight any longer and I will not
- 42:44Speaker 3: give up.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Kiss me.
- 42:49Speaker 8: I think I can go again, go for it.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Who was in here, professor?
- 43:02Speaker 4: Gosh, what a beautiful scene.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Amy. I'll say that I love how she just lifts
- 43:07Speaker 3: lists her hobbies. That for me, is like a strong woman.
- 43:11Speaker 1: No one could say she didn't have hobbies, and no
- 43:14Speaker 1: one could say that.
- 43:15Speaker 2: No one can fucking claim that.
- 43:17Speaker 6: Nobody.
- 43:17Speaker 1: If you knock on my door and you say this
- 43:19Speaker 1: character is underdeveloped, im, I'll point you to this monologue
- 43:22Speaker 1: and say, fuck you.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Astrology interests, hobbies, She lost.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Her interests are just sports, which I found was really interesting.
- 43:33Speaker 2: The boys.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Okay, she's one of the boys. You didn't even try
- 43:36Speaker 4: to like like change up her interests, give her other things.
- 43:39Speaker 4: It was just sports.
- 43:40Speaker 5: It was very weird.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Well, you also liked painting, you liked paint, Yeah, there
- 43:43Speaker 6: was that.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think I threw that one in there
- 43:45Speaker 4: because that bought me. Really you did improvise that and.
- 43:48Speaker 8: That female dancer.
- 43:49Speaker 5: The female dancer wasn't talking about a boy for a
- 43:52Speaker 5: part of the lines, and so the conversation between those two.
- 43:57Speaker 3: It was two women talking about something that that wasn't
- 43:59Speaker 3: about just sure the subtext was about a man, but
- 44:04Speaker 3: on paper, but.
- 44:05Speaker 10: On paper technically, I think those two girl dancer test
- 44:10Speaker 10: I think those two dancers, what were their names in
- 44:12Speaker 10: the script it was like blonde girl, pretty eyes, boobies, and.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Yeah it was blonde girl, pretty ies, boobies.
- 44:20Speaker 6: Supposed to be your daughter, right, yeah?
- 44:22Speaker 4: I said, oh, we have the same last name. Is
- 44:24Speaker 4: this my daughter that I'm teaching in class?
- 44:26Speaker 1: And then said she was she had a daughter, but
- 44:29Speaker 1: then we decided she wasn't fuckable enough that way. Unfortunately,
- 44:32Speaker 1: that's just the way the dice was.
- 44:35Speaker 6: Moms and yeah, wow.
- 44:38Speaker 2: I don't have time for that.
- 44:40Speaker 4: How did your guys' life change when we finished the movie?
- 44:42Speaker 4: I know we all went to the inauguration, which was huge,
- 44:47Speaker 4: and then what didn't you all do well?
- 44:50Speaker 6: I mean you all know that. I you know, it's
- 44:53Speaker 6: been it's been documented that after this movie, I joined
- 44:57Speaker 6: the cast of the OC. The cast of OC.
- 45:02Speaker 3: You were so good for those two seasons. Yeah, it
- 45:04Speaker 3: was a weird from that to a c W show, crazy.
- 45:09Speaker 2: But c W show, and then straight to the Oscar track.
- 45:13Speaker 3: It was wild.
- 45:14Speaker 6: It was crazy because people saw, oh, he can do
- 45:17Speaker 6: it all. He was a rom com interest and now
- 45:20Speaker 6: he's on the o C chopping up with Peter Gallagher?
- 45:24Speaker 4: Like what why that?
- 45:27Speaker 8: You played Peter Gallagher's best friend on that?
- 45:29Speaker 6: It was great, It was great. It was I played
- 45:31Speaker 6: his best friend. Uh you know, you know he was
- 45:35Speaker 6: Sandy and I was uh Joe.
- 45:39Speaker 8: I know me and Pete are way back.
- 45:41Speaker 5: We used to be in the same audition rooms for
- 45:43Speaker 5: everything together.
- 45:43Speaker 8: We're good friends.
- 45:44Speaker 6: The eyebrows, yes, the eyebrows. Yeah, yeah, you guys.
- 45:48Speaker 8: I heard a lot of pranks on set. I heard
- 45:50Speaker 8: there were a lot of pranks.
- 45:51Speaker 6: A lot of pranks, A lot of pranks. He put
- 45:55Speaker 6: cocaine in my cereal uh cereal, and I pulled the
- 46:02Speaker 6: plug on his mom's life support. Like crazy pranks, crazy,
- 46:07Speaker 6: but he laughed, he laughed. He laughed in the end,
- 46:10Speaker 6: and I laughed in the end too. Yeah, that's what.
- 46:13Speaker 2: That time period was about, is just pranks, pranks, just.
- 46:18Speaker 6: One punk was out everything, you know.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah, was anybody unpunked? I was unpunked for for an episode.
- 46:25Speaker 3: They pumped.
- 46:28Speaker 2: What did they do? What they do?
- 46:30Speaker 3: They set my house on fire? It was so was
- 46:33Speaker 3: it really? Yeah, So basically what Ashton did. He's so
- 46:38Speaker 3: funny and he's so cool and he's so nice and
- 46:40Speaker 3: he's so nice. So basically what he did, he basically
- 46:44Speaker 3: I was in my bed and I was being pranked
- 46:48Speaker 3: by my girlfriend at the time, and she was like,
- 46:51Speaker 3: you should set his house on fire. So they like
- 46:53Speaker 3: put me in bed and I was asleep, and then they
- 46:55Speaker 3: set my house on fire, and then we were screaming
- 46:58Speaker 3: and screaming and screaming, and then I outside and then
- 47:01Speaker 3: the thing with like the fire men show up and
- 47:03Speaker 3: they're tripping over the hose and it's all high jinxy
- 47:05Speaker 3: and I'm like, just what the heck is going on
- 47:08Speaker 3: to put my house out, and then Ashton runs out
- 47:11Speaker 3: and he's like, oh you got brank, you got punked,
- 47:14Speaker 3: and I'm.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Like this, but it was real fire.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, accidentally they meant it to be fake, but
- 47:20Speaker 3: accidentally it did burn down.
- 47:21Speaker 6: So that once you have holes in your house. Huh
- 47:25Speaker 6: you said they were tripping over the holes.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Yeah, hose, oh the hose. Oh well, they were tripping
- 47:31Speaker 3: over to fire, tripping over my fires. And at the time,
- 47:35Speaker 3: I was very popular. The girls loved quiet boy. I
- 47:38Speaker 3: had a slew of hose. I mean, girls were obsessed
- 47:42Speaker 3: with me, but mostly the girls that would sleep with
- 47:44Speaker 3: a lot of other girls. Guys. I was running sort
- 47:49Speaker 3: of a trap house for just a little bit period.
- 47:53Speaker 4: That lasts how long did the honeymoon face fire?
- 47:56Speaker 3: Once the fire went lit up the house because they
- 47:59Speaker 3: were trying to prank it, but my interior was so
- 48:03Speaker 3: disgusting and so dangerous it lit up by itself, unfortunately.
- 48:07Speaker 3: So after that and after I got punped, it was
- 48:09Speaker 3: probably another year or two of trapping and then I
- 48:13Speaker 3: was good. Yeah, and I started the restaurant business. Whoa, yeah,
- 48:17Speaker 3: well that's what you were up too. Yeah. So that's
- 48:19Speaker 3: basically what I've been doing.
- 48:21Speaker 6: Woe Amy, What about you? Amy? What have you been well?
- 48:25Speaker 4: Amy?
- 48:26Speaker 2: I pumped out a lot, a lot, a lot of
- 48:28Speaker 2: rom coms.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I did take a brief detour. Uh after we went
- 48:33Speaker 1: to the inauguration. I had like a little bit of
- 48:36Speaker 1: a midlife crisis. I got talking with some people, and
- 48:41Speaker 1: I got a White House internship for what about?
- 48:45Speaker 3: What made you have a life? Midlife crisis? What about? Oh?
- 48:48Speaker 2: You know all the movies I made?
- 48:51Speaker 1: You know, just pumping them out, Professor Love, I am
- 48:56Speaker 1: I'm sixty five years old.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Wow, yes, up to see of Mike. You look so young.
- 49:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:05Speaker 8: I should eat what you eat.
- 49:07Speaker 1: You eat, you know, vegetables, fruits, meat, I eat normal stuff.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Man, what are you eating?
- 49:15Speaker 8: I'm eating just I just drink all of oil.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Hey, there's your problem right there, Mike. I gotta say,
- 49:23Speaker 1: I'm no dietitian. There's your problem right there. You gotta
- 49:25Speaker 1: stop drinking olive oil, right, you gotta get it helps.
- 49:27Speaker 8: Me, It helps me go to the bathroom.
- 49:30Speaker 6: I guess that seems like it would back you up.
- 49:34Speaker 6: But the White House Internship we got to hear more.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Well, Yeah, so I was I was kind of in
- 49:39Speaker 1: the mix with Bush and all those guys.
- 49:42Speaker 4: I was, what a blast you did.
- 49:46Speaker 3: You did the two thousand and five to two thousand
- 49:48Speaker 3: and eight. You're still with Bush?
- 49:50Speaker 6: Wow?
- 49:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I was.
- 49:52Speaker 1: I was in the mix with that. I got to
- 49:55Speaker 1: They put me in the situation room chair a couple.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Of times, like wow.
- 49:59Speaker 2: That's because I was a really good intern.
- 50:02Speaker 6: You were working in the White House when the economy
- 50:07Speaker 6: crashed and you don't put your money in banks.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I was.
- 50:11Speaker 1: And let me tell you it was they were not
- 50:14Speaker 1: happy over there while that was happening. They're not happy
- 50:17Speaker 1: over there. There was papers flying everywhere all the time.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Businessmen were walking through the White House just dropping papers.
- 50:23Speaker 1: And then that is what gave me the idea of
- 50:27Speaker 1: a new type of meat cute where you drop papers
- 50:30Speaker 1: and people pick them up and they.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Fall in love.
- 50:32Speaker 1: And that I was watching the Dow crash and everyone
- 50:36Speaker 1: in the White House running around and papers flying everywhere,
- 50:40Speaker 1: and I said, I got to get back to Hollywood.
- 50:42Speaker 1: I gotta go make a movie. So I ripped off
- 50:44Speaker 1: my intern jacket. I handed it to someone outside.
- 50:48Speaker 3: So you still weren't getting paid at this point, by
- 50:50Speaker 3: the way, you were.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Still I mean, I had made some money, so I
- 50:54Speaker 1: got to follow my passions.
- 50:56Speaker 8: Was your passion you.
- 51:00Speaker 6: Love that? You know you could afford that?
- 51:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I could afford that.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Love Bush don't agree with his politics, But we don't
- 51:06Speaker 1: really talk politics, you know, Georgia.
- 51:08Speaker 3: But do you talk in the situation room?
- 51:12Speaker 4: Mets game?
- 51:14Speaker 6: He was a Mets fan, owner of the Rangers with.
- 51:20Speaker 4: A Mets fan.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Wow, diverse secrets. We all have our secret passion.
- 51:24Speaker 8: I don't like hearing that about him. That makes me
- 51:26Speaker 8: like him.
- 51:26Speaker 6: That that makes me Yeah, that makes me wonder what
- 51:29Speaker 6: type of loyalty did he have?
- 51:30Speaker 1: He said, you know, I'm a Rangers fan. I own
- 51:33Speaker 1: the Rangers, but my guilty pleasure is the Mets.
- 51:36Speaker 4: All in the situation room, My god, you know you
- 51:41Speaker 4: think it's all war and negative bad vibes in there
- 51:44Speaker 4: that we get into its secret times.
- 51:46Speaker 6: It's just secrets and good times in the situation room.
- 51:50Speaker 2: So I went back to Hollywood.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I made several more profession themed movies. I made Gardening
- 51:59Speaker 1: for Love. I made a mechanic movie. Uh, there's your problem.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Right, love.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I made that movie about Uh it was in that.
- 52:12Speaker 2: It was in that marketing firm called sell Me Love.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Oh, I loved that movie. I read that.
- 52:19Speaker 6: Did you know that? I yeah, they sent me. They
- 52:21Speaker 6: sent me the script for that, and I read for that.
- 52:24Speaker 3: You went in an auditioned, they made you adi.
- 52:27Speaker 6: This is one that was the first time I auditioned
- 52:30Speaker 6: in ten years.
- 52:31Speaker 4: Did you walk downstairs to c A A on accident?
- 52:35Speaker 6: I did, and I just wandered into it. It was like,
- 52:36Speaker 6: what are you here for? Whatever you need me for?
- 52:40Speaker 6: And it was like, well, here's something you can do.
- 52:42Speaker 6: And I auditioned and I didn't. I wasn't prepared, so
- 52:44Speaker 6: I didn't get it.
- 52:46Speaker 4: When you walk into c A and they just give
- 52:47Speaker 4: you something to do, Like I s, I drop off
- 52:52Speaker 4: my kids down there. They have great daycare.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Oh Ida, Yeah, yeah, great, you have kids.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Now I do have kids.
- 53:00Speaker 4: We all do it.
- 53:00Speaker 6: Well, you have kids, Oh how are your kids?
- 53:06Speaker 4: I have two twins that are twelve, twelve beautiful boys, girls,
- 53:13Speaker 4: two boys. I still drop them off at CIA every day.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Okay, twelve is a little They should be going to
- 53:20Speaker 3: regular school.
- 53:22Speaker 4: I don't give a fuck. HEA is the best education
- 53:24Speaker 4: they could get.
- 53:26Speaker 6: We all want our kids to be. I mean, look
- 53:27Speaker 6: at my kids, my daughter. Oh the beautiful song I
- 53:31Speaker 6: whip my elbows back and forth.
- 53:35Speaker 3: And it's painful. A lot of kids are going into they're.
- 53:40Speaker 4: Going double jointed on TikTok.
- 53:42Speaker 6: Now, my son.
- 53:43Speaker 5: My son, Koby, is a he's a teacher in school
- 53:48Speaker 5: in Pennsylvania and he deals every day with kids knocking
- 53:54Speaker 5: each other's elbows off.
- 53:56Speaker 6: Really just back.
- 53:57Speaker 8: Well yeah, and I say, I know the guy that
- 53:58Speaker 8: did that right the way, and.
- 53:59Speaker 6: He said, well, well I didn't do it. Oh that's oh,
- 54:02Speaker 6: that's all. I have nothing to do. I have nothing
- 54:04Speaker 6: to do with their lives. I have nothing to do
- 54:05Speaker 6: with their lives. It's as oak I give them. I
- 54:08Speaker 6: give them the platform to be whoever they want to be.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Now, do you feel ever, like like you're scared for
- 54:15Speaker 4: them to have fame? Because me, like I I just
- 54:19Speaker 4: I don't know. Fame's hard. Fames was hard for me
- 54:22Speaker 4: after this movie, though the inauguration was so fun. It
- 54:25Speaker 4: was really hard for me because I had such a
- 54:29Speaker 4: blast at the inauguration, but that that that party ended
- 54:32Speaker 4: fast and I just kept getting cast for by about
- 54:36Speaker 4: for roles with big boobs, and that was it and
- 54:39Speaker 4: that was the only.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Got your I thought it was cool that they gave
- 54:42Speaker 3: you an Oscar for that. I thought that was sure.
- 54:44Speaker 4: But at some point you're like, this is why I
- 54:46Speaker 4: love playing the Crown of the Crown, because the Crown
- 54:49Speaker 4: has no boobs, and it feels like I could just
- 54:51Speaker 4: do something. But I'll say that it terrifies me. I
- 54:54Speaker 4: look at my kids and though they grow up and
- 54:57Speaker 4: like they live in Culver City, I'm scared they're gonna
- 54:59Speaker 4: want to be act and I don't want to get
- 55:01Speaker 4: in the way of their passion. But I do know
- 55:03Speaker 4: that this isn't easier.
- 55:04Speaker 2: And if you're dropping them off at CAA every day,
- 55:06Speaker 2: I don't think. I don't think you're helping dissuade them
- 55:09Speaker 2: from them.
- 55:09Speaker 3: I think you got it on the ground floor of
- 55:11Speaker 3: Hollywood right now.
- 55:12Speaker 4: That's a good point. That's a good point. But you know,
- 55:14Speaker 4: I I I fear my kids being in our industry,
- 55:19Speaker 4: and I really think it's awesome Smith that you don't
- 55:23Speaker 4: care that even even uh Okay, at such a young age,
- 55:27Speaker 4: is already attending the Grammys and just doing everything.
- 55:30Speaker 6: Well, you know, here's the thing. I come from a
- 55:34Speaker 6: long line of poor people. You know, Uh, my mom
- 55:37Speaker 6: was poor, my dad was poor, their parents were poor,
- 55:39Speaker 6: Their parents were poor, and I broke that chain, you know.
- 55:42Speaker 6: And I'm fabulously wealthy, and I want to make sure
- 55:47Speaker 6: that my kids, whenever I stop working, have enough money
- 55:51Speaker 6: to support me, you know, and to do to do
- 55:55Speaker 6: the back and forth support. They can support their family
- 55:57Speaker 6: and support me. And the best way to do that
- 56:00Speaker 6: is for them to follow the same exact trajectory that
- 56:02Speaker 6: I did make music and then act and and that's
- 56:08Speaker 6: and that's why, you know, I'm really I'm really just
- 56:10Speaker 6: raising people that I can mooch off of, you know.
- 56:14Speaker 6: That's what I'm doing. That's what I'm doing. Thank you,
- 56:17Speaker 6: thank you. And they're talented. They're talented, they're so talented. Uh,
- 56:22Speaker 6: you know, I do you guys, mind if I give
- 56:26Speaker 6: you a little secret, give you a little give you
- 56:28Speaker 6: a little breaking news, give you a little breaking news.
- 56:32Speaker 6: Use your inhaler, use your in haalor.
- 56:35Speaker 4: Just use your inhaler usual every.
- 56:37Speaker 6: Time you need to breathe heavy, just usalor please. So
- 56:41Speaker 6: coming out next year is uh. I can't believe I'm
- 56:47Speaker 6: saying this, but it is a movie where my entire
- 56:50Speaker 6: family is in it, my wife, my son, my my daughter,
- 56:56Speaker 6: even my other son from my other marriage who people
- 56:59Speaker 6: don't know. And talk like he's in it as well,
- 57:02Speaker 6: like and the movie is called the movie is called
- 57:05Speaker 6: The Pursuit of Sadness, and it is going to be
- 57:09Speaker 6: it's gonna be just I think it's gonna be a
- 57:11Speaker 6: beautiful film, and I'm really excited for people to see it.
- 57:15Speaker 6: And I think this is what's gonna give me my
- 57:17Speaker 6: second Oscar. And then we're going to turn it into
- 57:21Speaker 6: a musical, take it to Broadway.
- 57:22Speaker 4: I'm getting set that, Tony.
- 57:26Speaker 1: What's thet you are scheming for?
- 57:29Speaker 3: I am I can't try. That's a long way list
- 57:34Speaker 3: of things to get to Tony. That's so cool.
- 57:36Speaker 6: Well, you know that's how the only way I know
- 57:39Speaker 6: how to do things is the long way.
- 57:40Speaker 8: I can't believe you didn't get the Tony for Brown Pats.
- 57:43Speaker 3: I really can't believe it.
- 57:45Speaker 6: Thank you, thank you, Uh you got I mean even
- 57:48Speaker 6: you got your Tony, Mike, I got a Tony.
- 57:52Speaker 3: You got a Tony.
- 57:53Speaker 4: I saw that performance. My god, it was an American
- 57:56Speaker 4: idiot right the physical Yeah.
- 57:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Tony for playing.
- 58:02Speaker 8: Brick an American idiot.
- 58:04Speaker 5: I did the final monologue. You know, are you there,
- 58:08Speaker 5: Jesus Christ or whoever you are to God to fuck you?
- 58:12Speaker 5: Know what we say an American idiot, you bang your
- 58:15Speaker 5: head so much the next day they call it a bangover,
- 58:18Speaker 5: and you got a headache because you're banging your head
- 58:20Speaker 5: so much. And I'll tell you, as a fifty eight
- 58:24Speaker 5: year old man being the lead wearing one of those
- 58:26Speaker 5: loose fitting black T shirts and a dog collar, red
- 58:32Speaker 5: hair wig jade on my jeans, the.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Dog dollar was so unnecessary to put you in.
- 58:38Speaker 5: It was odd.
- 58:39Speaker 8: That was a choice because I should.
- 58:41Speaker 5: I'm not gonna feel like one of these little teens
- 58:43Speaker 5: in suburbia if I'm not wearing a dog collar.
- 58:45Speaker 3: I know.
- 58:45Speaker 4: But your neck is so wrinkly. It just looks like
- 58:48Speaker 4: it It's like a weird hammer.
- 58:51Speaker 5: It's crazy wrinkles. My wrinkles would go around the spikes
- 58:54Speaker 5: on the collar. They'd cut on the outside.
- 58:58Speaker 6: It looked like you had skin cancer, look like a
- 59:01Speaker 6: big mole. Look.
- 59:02Speaker 5: If I got to look like I got skin, get tony,
- 59:05Speaker 5: then I'm gonna do what I need to do. You
- 59:08Speaker 5: guys know what I mean?
- 59:09Speaker 6: Who am I?
- 59:09Speaker 5: I haven't got I did it and I had it,
- 59:12Speaker 5: and I did it and I got tony and I
- 59:14Speaker 5: had a wonderful time in the theater. Community. I still
- 59:17Speaker 5: every time I walk into Elaanes, every time I walk
- 59:19Speaker 5: into Sardines, every time I walk into one of those
- 59:22Speaker 5: hip Broadway bars, I saying my name, They're singing along
- 59:27Speaker 5: with me. I found my tribe, I found my community,
- 59:30Speaker 5: and I love them and and and you're welcome. If
- 59:33Speaker 5: you guys ever want to come with me over to
- 59:35Speaker 5: a Lanes, You're welcome to.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Come on over.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Amy. I really think you should adapt Professor Love and
- 59:40Speaker 4: put this ship on Broadway.
- 59:42Speaker 8: I will, yeah, I'll tell you. I'm currently working.
- 59:47Speaker 5: I'm currently working with the Black Eyed Peas on their
- 59:49Speaker 5: next jukebox musical.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Why did is that called I'm Gonna Be Singing?
- 59:56Speaker 8: It's called I'm Gonna Be on Broadway.
- 59:59Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: And it's the plot of it.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: So it's about a group of sixteen year old boys
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: and girls and they're going to prom and it's happening
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: at prom, and it's all about them losing their virginity.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: But are they gonna get drunk or are they gonna
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: lose their virginity?
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: It's one or the other.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: You can't pick both again, do they ever explain in
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the musical why you can't do both?
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: They just they were like let's not make any gray area.
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: So if you're having sex, you're sober. If you're drunk,
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: you're not having sex.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: OK.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: Yeah, it's gonna be really fun.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: But there's so much fun, and Fergie is so collaborative,
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: and Taboo has so many wonderful staging ideas.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: I don't understand your team. I hire agents and managers
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: that find things that are good for me, and I
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: just fundamentally don't get it.
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: My agents follow who loves me. And I found out
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: that that Fergie and will i Am used to watch
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Professor Love when they were writing. When they were writing Elephunk,
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: they would watch it. So they just loved the movie
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: and they loved Dean Hate and they said that we
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: want to work with these some day. So I'm doing that.
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: But if you wanted the Black Eyed piece to I
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: think they would have a lot of great ideas for
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Professor Love the musical.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Well, listen, I just want to say, you know, because
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: this movie has a legacy, It has a following that
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: people love that if this happens, count me in, count
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: me in, count me in.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Don't don't really listen.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm I've kind of booked for the
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: next three years.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: Are you back Bush?
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Sure?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: No, I'm with Biden.
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: Now White House?
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Now, okay, So you skipped Obama.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: I skipped Obama. I skipped Obama for reasons unknown.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: Well, he took your boss's job.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: It's true. Wait, do you know the reasons?
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: The reasons unknown, reasons unknown, unknown to me, unknown to
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: the world.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: I skipped Obama, I skipped Trump.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: You know, you you got to skip a Democrat and
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: then you skip a Republican just so people make sure
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: that you're not getting all political on them. Because if
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: there's one thing you hate to do in the White House,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: it's get political.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: And I'm not about that. And are you still an
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: intern when you returned? Yeah?
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Yeah. They offered me. They offered me something higher paid.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: I think it was a chief of chief of personnel, chief.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Of chief of staff, chief of staff, That's what it was.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: They offered me chief of staff, and I said, well,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I really liked being an intern. It brought me peace,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: it made me feel like I was good for something.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: And so I'm still there.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: And if anybody has any messages for Joe Biden and
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: their new cat windsor.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: Yes, yes, well I mean listen, I have a message
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: that you can pass them along when he please. When
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: he wins again in twenty twenty four, like we all know,
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: he's going to no doubt about it.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Of course, are you happy right now?
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: People are so happy right now. He's going to win again.
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: When he wins again, give us the inauguration, bring us
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: to the inauguration.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I think I took this job. This inauguration was the
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: high point of my life.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: And if it wasn't weird that the cast and crew
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: of our movie went to the first inauguration, it won't
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: be weird.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: If we go back.
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: Can you imagine?
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Can you They're gonna let us plug the musical eating.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: Eating desserts with Emma Eindhoff oaking.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Her friends, oaking her friends friends. They are friends, makes sense,
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: that's huge. We had her at the Blue table. We
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: had her at the Blue table.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Wow, Okay, I'm dying to know Smith Williams. So you
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: have your big family movie coming out, you have anything
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: else on the pipeline, because I know you have so
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: much stuff You're always creating.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: Oh man, I have so much stuff. I'm always creating. Well,
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: you know on Disney. Plus, I got a little something
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: something for y'all to see I travel the world and
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: I massage feet massage watching from massage feet from different
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: people in different cultures around the world.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Uh, and we're just talk to them or interview them
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: while feet.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: Yeah, we talked to them and I found out about
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: their lives and then like and then, and I only
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: massage to feed the people who work hard like jobs
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: on their feet. So we go and we work a
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: day like we work. I've worked a day in their shoes,
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: so I can see how their feet may feel, so
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: I can know the type of massage to give. And
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: we're calling it plantar earth like plantar plantar earth. Yeah yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: so look out for that. I got that coming up,
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: and I wasn't gonna say anything. I wasn't even gonna
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: tell y'all, but man, it feels so good to be
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: back with there. I'm just spilling all my secrets. I
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: got another album coming out, Yeah yeah, I got another
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: album coming out. Everybody, Yeah yeah, ta haloa hal take
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: you and hailer.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: Can you give us the name Smith?
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can give you the name.
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: It's called. Uh, it's called what wow, it's called Yeah,
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: that's what it's called. I can't wait so good, Thank y'all,
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: Thank you'all. Oh and uh.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: A curse?
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: No what.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: You curse?
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Curse?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: So I mean you do you're aware that you're taking
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: yourself out of the J. C. Penny Macy's loud speaker.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: I was worried about that. I was. I was worried
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: about that.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: But but your boy, your boys will your boy Smith
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: Williams has got a new contract with best Buy and
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: allow allow yes, oh yes, dangerous.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Nobody's in the stores anymore, so.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: They can play whatever they want. So that's where that's
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: where all my music is gonna be heard.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: Now, Wow, that's amazing.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Drinking.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: We all got any more trap houses?
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah? Actually a couple of my restaurants have turned
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: into like that, sort of like a dark trap house vibe,
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: and it's fun. I'm kind of like the leader of
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: like a couple like weird, like cool things they're pushing
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: and peddling, and it's.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Just like, Okay, what do you mean by that?
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: You're the leader of You're the leader of a couple
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: of weird kind of cool things they're pushing.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: What do you mean by that? It's pretty fun, Like
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: you go into a store and you're like, Hey, what's
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: going on. I haven't heard from you guys in a while.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: And they're just kind of like, hey, we've started this
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: new thing. People kind of dine quote unquote, they come in,
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: you know, they get service, they have fun, they get drinks,
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: they get drugs, they do whatever they want. They do whatever.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: The city walk this isn't the city walk one. Yeah,
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: it's kind of devolved into sort of a trap house
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: fun vibe. You know that it's really cool. And they
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: call it, you know, they they say, I'm like the
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: big dog. You know, jar Yanki is the big Jay,
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Big jar jank And they actually now have like a
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: strand called jar Yanki because it really messes you up
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: and it makes you feel like you're actually drowning. So
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: like they say, like quiet, I'm gonna get Quiet BOYD today,
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: And it just means the world to me.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: You know, spent you have spent the last seventeen years
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: really distancing yourself from the role that Amy gave you
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: in this movie.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: I've been trying to get back to it, but it's
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: tough because he did not speak. He only said he
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: was drowning. So but I would love it if this
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: music is this musical is happening. I would love the
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: opportunity to return because I love this and I am
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: such a big fan. I think everybody at the Trap
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: House is an everybody in the restaurants would love to
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: see me so.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: And you're a really good singer too. You're a really
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: good singing used to sing to us all the time
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: on set.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Man, Oh yeah, thank you, thank you.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: I was just like a little bit of like just
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: a small dunker.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: I remember a different me too, Me too changed it?
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Juice?
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Wasn't that Inhaler? Is there like juice? Oh?
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: This is yank if you guys want to try.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Okay, Chomsky, what do you have any upcoming projects? Well,
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: we're wrapping up season twelve of The Crown right now.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: I'm in England, and then I actually am doing a
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: movie adaptation of a gluten free cookbook that we're doing
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: straight to HBO.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: Wow oh wow.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's gonna be really cool. There's some really
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: great talent there, and we're dedicating the whole thing to
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Robin Williams at.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: The end, and it'll be a little late. Still, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: he does. I still can't.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Believe I know he though, no, he wasn't.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: But we're doing it because I've been telling my because
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: somebody's got to do it. I've been telling my team,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: like a project after project, I need to dedicate something
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: to Robin Williams. And it didn't feel right for the Crown,
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: it didn't feel right for my Pixar movie. So I
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: finally put my foot down and I said, I don't
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: care what the next project is, make it dedicated to him.
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: So it's gonna be a good free cookbook.
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: You had and so you say done in twenty twenty fourteen.
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: You had that movie in twenty fifteen. Now, what was

- 1:10:01Speaker 4: we said yes to this movie because of the title,

- 1:10:12Speaker 6: Wait, wait a minute, what do you are you guys
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: saying that's how he died? Yeah, yeah, I didn't know
