  Today, I want to talk about how God can heal our hearts after toxic love,

  and what it looks like to truly trust again when he finally sends the right

  man. For me, this was such a real struggle.

  I spent 10 years letting God heal me after a toxic marriage that left me wounded
• 0:56
  and second-guessing everything.

  Then, God sent me a wonderful, godly man who exceeded my expectations.

  He was patient, loving, and carried so much fruit. But little did I know,

  I still needed practice.

  Even after all that healing, I had to learn how to trust again,

  communicate what I needed without running away, and believe that God was guiding
• 1:22
  me instead of living in constant fear of being wrong.

  Because the truth was, after enduring something so toxic, I was suspicious of everything.

  I thought something had to be off. But it wasn't him. It was me.

  I had been broken, hurt, and taken advantage of. My heart was so guarded,

  I couldn't see the blessing right in front of me.

  Healing is a process, not a finish line.

  You can be whole in Christ and still need to relearn what safe love feels like.

  And 1 Corinthians 13 reminds us that love is patient. Love is kind.

  A godly man won't punish you for your wounds. He'll help you walk them out.

  Toxic love makes us doubt our own judgment. But God never asked us to lean only on ourselves.

  He asks us to lean on Him.

  Proverbs 3, 5-6 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on

  your own understanding.

  In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.

  Fear will make you question everything. but the fruit of the spirit,

  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, doesn't lie.

  If your relationship is bearing fruit, that's God's confirmation.

  Maybe you're listening right now and you're in the same place.

  God has given you someone wonderful, but your heart is still on guard because of past hurt.

  Let me tell you, sis, it's okay to feel that way.

  It doesn't mean you're broken. It means you're human. But here's the key.

  You don't have to live in suspicion.

  Lean into God, pay attention to the fruit, communicate your needs,

  and allow yourself to actually enjoy the blessing you've been praying for.

  God's best doesn't always come without fear, but it will come with peace.

  Don't let past heartbreak rob you of present joy. The right man won't just love

  you. He'll help you heal.

  And more importantly, he'll point you back to the one who healed you first, God.
